Speaker 1 (00:01):
In a happy Wednesday friend, Welcome to the thought Shower
Internshin is my name. Gonna be a crazy day today,
busy day in a good way. I got the morning
show obviously, then after the show, gonna try and run
to the gym and quick to get swollen, but kinding
out to be a busy day to them doing Fox

(00:21):
five on television. We're back on TV. I believe I'm
gonna be on around three o'clock today, three to three
forty five ish, talking about Hyde's social the Restaurant'm evolved
with bringing in some food for our wine Wednesdays. Also
for a football season, so if you buy a TV,
make sure you watch that. But then in the process,
God brings skittles to doggy Daycare, exciting for him. He

(00:45):
is pumped because this weekend going to Nashville, see some family,
see some friends. So after the show, we're running. Man,
We're gonna again. We're gonna do the show, Try to
leave here as soon as possible, go to the gym,
go get skittles, bring skittles to doggy daycare. Killed on TV,
and then hopefully beat traffic homes we can start packing

(01:06):
and working on the next day's show. So I'm very excited.
We had a new chef at Hyde. He's fantastic. It
is scary though, when there's things out of your control.
You know, our new chef is fantastic. However, it's not
like when I usually do TV and it's just me,
you know what I mean, Like I'm representing me.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
It's all good.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Gotta rely on on our chef to bring this stuff
and hopefully it travels well and looks good on TV.
So a little bit of extra pressure certainly, but it's
gonna be exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
We have this new wing tower that I made kind
of on accident.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I was doing a different TV thing for a different station,
which is lovely, and they'd asked me to bring the
hot dog tower. The hot dog Tower's great, another one
of your boys ideas, and so I shouldn't say is
my idea. I found not TikTok and sent to our
other owner, Shuck, and worked out that way. But was
bringing the hot dog tower and I was setting it
up and people start eating hot dogs before I could

(02:06):
go on TV.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I was like, Yo, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
And then a good friend, Doug Camer, was like, Hey,
we're gonna be live in ten minutes, I was like, yo,
okay uh, and I had a bunch of wings that
poured into the like the.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Tower if you will, and I was like, oh.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
This is our new uh new item wing tower to
begin A chance to watch and be on Fox five today.
Want to get to this for your Wednesday. The weird
ways the universe sends a wake up call. Now, I
do believe in signs to a certain extent. I think

(02:43):
sometimes if you look hard enough, you can find a
sign in anything, and that's dangerous, but overall, like, yeah,
I do believe that sometimes the universe does kind of
look out for you. I don't think that anything in
life is by chance. I just don't. I think again,
I've looked this up before, but the odds of being
born on being born, it's like one and yeah, one

(03:06):
one and four hundred trillion. So the odds of you
being born right, one and four hundred trillion, And I
always say two for me personally, like the odds of
me being born. My mom lived in Minnesota, my dad's
from Rhode Island, the odds of them meeting, the odds
of them getting along, all the decisions to talk to
get me personally intern John here it's like one in

(03:29):
I don't know eight hundred trillion, you know what I mean.
So I don't think anything happens by chance. I don't
also think that our lives are already played out and
you don't have any free will. I don't think that,
but I do think there is I don't know the
universe has sense signs. I do believe that starting with
random encounters with old friends, if you rant an old

(03:51):
friend can feel random, it might be the universal reminding
you of who you used to be and what you
once valued. They can sugar memories and emotions and reflect
your current life path.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I think that's true.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
I don't think I've necessarily had that before that I
can remember, but I could see what it would be true.
Where if it's like maybe if you've been you off
the path you once run, seeing the old friend can
remind you like, Okay, I used to feel this way.
I mean, I think it always happens in movies, right
where our main character realizes like, oh they've gone down

(04:24):
a dark and windy path, perhaps need to go back
to being themselves. I think that happens unusual dreams. Man,
I know we don't know much about dreams. Right, like
I think overall, like I don't think. I don't think
we have many facts on dreams. I think we have
a lot of like, oh, you know, they could be this,

(04:47):
or it could be could be this I have found
in my life. Sometimes those dreams are oddly specific to
what's going on in my life.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
They say.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
They often tap into your subconscious, highlighting concerns or desires
you might be ignoring again, you know, when this is
all said and done, one day, I would love to
know what certain dreams meant, Were they real, Were they
you know, somebody from the past trying to reach out.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I would love to know.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Having the sudden urge to travel, they say, if you
just had the urge to packet bags and go somewhere,
could be the universe pushing you out of your comfort zone.
According to a travel psychologist, spontaneous travel can ope your
mind and expand your worldview.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I had this happened when I went through a breakup
years ago.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
I was sitting around my house and it was kind
of around the time where we've been broken up for
I don't know, a two months or so, and I
hadn't been.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Treating myself so to speak.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
It's like Oh, I'm single, so I shouldn't go out
to eat, I shouldn't go places. And I was at
my apartment and I was like, wont know what f it?
I'm going on vacation, and that night booked a trip
to Puntakana. Didn't go that night, booked it for, you know,
months in advance. But yeah, that was one of those
things where I don't know if i'd done that before,

(06:02):
if I would have done it again, but did it.
Love it. It's been one of the greatest experiences ever.
If you have unexpected opportunities, love that they see. Opportunities
can always come in the form of a job, offers
of promotions. Sometimes they appear as chance encounters, are random
events he couldn't have predicted. I think I've had that
recently with the TV stuff. You know, it's funny. I'm

(06:27):
not even sure how I got on the radar. You know,
obviously the show does very well, We're very grateful for that.
But I had one of the producers reach out and
went in and then realized I had other radio friends
that did work there. They helped me connect to the
afternoon shows, and so all kind of worked out in
a way in that kind of sense where things tend

(06:49):
to man. This one's interesting. Animals acting unusual, they say
pets are wild. Animals behaving oddly around you means something.
That might mean some insignificant, but they can be powerful messengers.
Animals often pick up by energies vibrations that people miss.
Their behavior can provide clues about your state of mind.
If you usually calm dog is suddenly anxious, might be

(07:12):
reflecting your own stress.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
You know, Chewye was really good at this. Chewy was.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
I mean, I'm sure because you know, he literally had
to be touching me, like if we were on the
couch like that's like if he was sleeping, he had
me next to me. He could always pick up pretty
well when something was off. I mean that happens when
you're around each other for basically every day for fifteen years.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Skills kind of that way too, but more so Chewy. Yeah,
that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I mean, if you're coming back from work stress, I've
read studies that say animals feel like they can pick
up on that.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
I think that makes all the sense in the world.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
If you're feeling stuck in a loop, if you live
the same day over and over, then the universe's a
way of telling you it's trying to break free them
monotonous routine. I think that's fair, to be honest, Like
sometimes with the show, like there's been periods of time
where it hasn't been the most fun thing. The way
it does kind of feel like the same thing every day,

(08:12):
groundhog Day. And then it's almost too like the idea
of does it even matter?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
You know? I think for the show, it's an odd thing.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And I've tried to articulate this the best I can
on the air and on podcasts and stuff. It's an
odd thing to be doing the show and room by yourself, and.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
It just is.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Because he wondered, like, oh, is anybody listening. We'll get ratings.
We're very blessed to have the ratings we do. But
when we do events or when somebody says, you know,
hello in public, then it's like, okay, it's like people
are listening. It's worth it, you know what I mean.
So we definitely get those stretches I do all the time.

(08:53):
And then if like somebody doesn't call in, I'm like,
this is the worst day ever, Like I'm the worst
at what I do. This is the worst thing to
ever do. Anya SAP. If you have intuitive hunches, they
say gut feelings often serve as the universe's way of
guiding you in logic falls. Short intuition is the subtle
voice urging you to trust your instincts even when there's

(09:13):
no concrete evidence. I have been very blessed with this,
you know, where I've always been able to trust my
gut for the most part, and it's always kind of
worked out. I do think that if you are an
overall good person, trusting your guts probably the way to go.
And I think for me, I've explained this to people before.

(09:34):
I know I sit on here as well. You gotta
have faith. I think that you've built a good foundation.
The analogy I've always used is if Capitol One Arena
came to me and said, hey, we want you to
do a comedy show here Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I know I could sell it out. My gut tells
me that.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
And it's not a case of we open the doors
and there's lines of people, because it's me. It's like,
I know that I'll work hard. I know that we'll
be able to tie in a great charity to get people,
you know, connected to the event. I know that I
have great friends and family and folks who will help
me spread the word. Got great contacts and media. It's

(10:12):
like I trust my gut that way. So I do
think that when you have that good foundation that makes
things a little bit easier. That makes sense. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Listen, I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
If you get a chance to follow at internjoen Radio,
we'll see a Friday Stas shower
