You're listening to Later with mo Kellyon demand from KFI AM six forty.
You can always hit me on threadsat mister Kelly, m R m OK
E L L Y and a continuingconversation we have here on Later with Mo
Kelly is the influx of autonomous vehiclesin California. Tongue in cheek sometimes the

(00:24):
conversation, but that's a serious componentto it. I am of the serious
opinion that I don't think the technologyis ready. I don't think that our
infrastructure is ready to handle these autonomousvehicles. We're close, but not ready
for prime time. Twalla says thatI'm paraphrasing. He'll correct me if I
stray that the future is inevitable. The future is here. These autonomous vehicles

(00:50):
are here to stay. They arebeing tested in cities around the country.
I better get with the program. Is that fair? Close at all?
No cigar, You're close? Okay? With that in mind, we've been
trading emails all day today because ithad not one, but two stories for

(01:11):
your consideration. First, a driverlesscar hit a person crossing against the light
in China. It was not Waymo, but it was a different autonomous vehicle
manufacturer. A driverless ride hailing carthat's the parallel in China hit a pedestrian
and the operator of the vehicle,Chinese tip company Badu, said in a

(01:34):
statement to Chinese media that the carbegan moving when the light turned green.
It had minor contact with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital,
where an examination found no obvious externalinjuries. It happened in the city
of Wuhan. Like this, whatare we talking about? Okay, that's

(01:59):
the first I want to la.You only had one, I said,
I said, person, I said, I had more than one story.
Lay them both out then you canrespond. The second story is a way
Mo robotaxi and Weimo is the companywhich is releasing these robotaxis. Here in
California, a robo taxi was pulledover by Phoenix police after driving the wrong

(02:23):
way. It ran a red lightand then went to the wrong side of
the street. In fact, wehave audio, I think, yeah,
we have audio concerning the traffic stops. It's not every day you see a
Phoenix police officer pulling over a driverlesscar. Hi, But that's what happened
June nineteenth, after the officer observeda way Mo going haywire and track would

(02:46):
come over. More than curiosity,I thought, maybe there's a pastors I
found. Oh, like, youknow the construction here. Yeah, it
was eastbound in the westbound langues Thisis re bad, really and then I
light it up and then it takesoff the well. Most Waimo cars can

(03:06):
be seen throughout the city, drivingsafely and behaving civilly. Erratic driving is
not completely out of the question forthe artificial intelligence. It was making a
ride on to Washington almost hit me. I had to swerve undo the fast
lane. Phil Briggs's Tuesday, henearly got sightes wiped by WEMO on a
mission with no regard for the carsurrounding. My son saw an accident.

(03:29):
We've seen him dead in the waterin the middle of the intersection. So
let's just I don't see any goodfrom it at all. It reached out
to Weimo to find out more aboutthe potential for errors in their cars.
Wingo sent me a statement and theysaid Waimo's are much better drivers than humans
and three and a half times morelikely to avoid injury causing crashes. That

(03:51):
is a fact. That is afact because just this week they had some
drunk sob who ran into a familyof five. I don't see that in
your in your report of the storiesyou're laying out. It hasn't happened.
It's almost like saying, oh,yeah, and planes are the safest way
to travel. No, no,no, until they hit the side of
a mountain. Right now. Itis a fact that right now humans are

(04:13):
more error prone than driverless cars. You've pointed out one person that was hitting
in Wuhan, fifty million people inWuhan. You got this one story that
you want to pull out of someonealmost part of a progression. It's violence
against people. No, vehicular deathsare beyond skyrocketing in California, and you're

(04:35):
not focusing on the yax. Andyou know what happens. If Mark were
to get into an accident, hisass would go to jail. Now,
okay, So then what it isis you want more regulation then, because
that's what it sounds like. Isaid, look, look, if you
want regulation, then just say hey, La City Council, please move forward
with your regulatory plan so I cansee them and be comfortable say that.

(04:58):
But don't sit here on I saidthat. Have I said no, No,
we're not. We're not. We'renot pointing out that in Arizona,
wed you to disclose the fact thatyou're being paid on the table the company.
There was literally a drunk driver goingon the wrong side of the street
that hit five Aha. You knowwhat happens when you're drunk driving, They

(05:20):
take your license away and they donot allow you to drive. So when
you go on to the wrong sideof the street as a way MO,
you need to have your license, you're willing to drive. Take it away.
No, that way MO will probablybe taken off of the street that
car there. You go plenty morewaymos to drive. And here's what you
have to pointed out one incident herein southern California. You can't point out

(05:42):
one MO if you can't bring outone hashtag all lives matter. Let me
just step in and moderate here fora second. I would like a forensic
audit of Toualla's checking account for depositsfrom big automated cars. Well, not
only that this incident, as faras the way Moo Rubotaxi happened June nineteenth,
there's probably some effort afoot to coverall this up. June has been

(06:05):
almost you've been almost getting old newsdown. You got to dig all the
way back to June nineteenth. We'rein July, man, get out of
the back to my point, getout of the past. This is an
important question. Though. So whensomebody, uh, an actual human makes
a mistake driving like dui or something, and they heard somebody, they get
in financial trouble, they go tojail. If it's if it's a way

(06:26):
mow, is it like what theinvisible not me character from family Circus.
It's a fair question. Someone question. Someone has to And here's saying if
you have, like the the grandmotherwho was hitting San Francisco, she has
been compensated, thoughts and prayers. She was compensation. She was drug a
little bit, Okay, she gotsome some road rash. She's fine,

(06:48):
she got paid. Grandma got runover by a way moo. She's just
drug a little bit, no bigdeal. And they had to go back
to the drawing board. They hadto go back to the drawing board.
That's all I'm saying is there isright now a plan within La City Council
and even the Mayor's office involved onregulating the expansion of Waymouth. They're not
everywhere you did not point out asingle accident here in southern California. You

(07:13):
just can't. Oh, okay,so they have an active terror someone else
because it hasn't happened here yet. You're saying that that doesn't matter. You
are comparing the wells and goldfish. They're both fish. I gotta kill wants
to mammal, but they're both fish. Just two points. So to Tualla's
point, when Uber and Lyft firstcame out, all of a sudden,

(07:36):
there were problems with the drivers. There's problems with harassment, there's problem accidents,
but we've had taxis for you know, however long. And all of
a sudden when they came out, because they were taking away all the business,
they started attacking them. Well wait, wait, let me let me
jump in. When Uber and Lyftcame out, we had rapes, we

(07:59):
had sexual different forms of sexual assault. We had murdered because there was not
enough regulation or background uh information onthe drivers. When there were more laws
and there was more regulation, uh, the industry stabilized. Continue and now
you get into what when you're goingto the airport. No, no,

(08:20):
but that was years years down thelot. Look, I said, adopt,
Hey, okay, I can't havehad another point. Okay, second
point, but the second point waswhich I don't know how it's even possible.
Uh. You can hear someone whohas a third or fourth DUI so
they're not completely gone off the road, because somehow they get back on the

(08:41):
road and they like like like likethe guy who hit these people, this
was not his first drunk driving thefence. He still has his license and
his car keys. My point isthis, you say, years down the
line, guess what they've been doingin Arizona, in China and San Francisco,
although they've been killing people, coveringit up, killing people that covering

(09:03):
it up. You, sir,are on the faith news reports. They
blame it again, they blame itlike UFO abductions. But it's really Waime
running over people and they're burying themin the desert. I can't prove it,
but I know, deep down insideis true news. Okay, that's

(09:24):
my story, and I'm sticking toit. Lord, don't stick to that.
Don't stick to that. Wemo's amenace. It must be stopped.
Point me a story, one storyin La of this menace running amok,
it's a cover up. I'm tellingyou it's a cover up. People are
dying and the news just won't reportit. It's that Mark, that and

(09:46):
the rigged election. The truth isout there. Look at the time,
gay if I am six forty,We're live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app.
And when we come back, wehave a gen Z Super Update. Jim
is going buck wild. They're crazy, losing their minds, getting tattoos and
regretting them. They're turned off byTV love scenes and shaving their teeth so

(10:09):
much more. You're listening to Laterwith Moe Kelly on demand from KFI AM
six forty. And I know tattoosare a generational thing. We look at
them differently depending on what generation you'refrom. I'm Generation X. In my
generation, yes, certain people hadtattoos, but it wasn't a thing not

(10:31):
growing up. It wasn't everywhere,It wasn't everyone had to get a tattoo.
Only a few people got them. Then when I got into my twenties
or so, and I think that'saround when Millennials started being born, it
started to change. I have fulldisclosure. I have one tattoo on my

(10:52):
right bicep, which is a bulldog, and I have a fraternity brand on
my left bicet. I had ayou know, of a wild child back
from my twenties were we all ButI did appreciate a good tramp stamp every
now and then. Definitely like thetramp stamp, very sexy. But I
also remember thinking that's probably not goingto age well. But each successive generation

(11:16):
has been more willing to accept tattoos. Now they're just everywhere, on everyone,
every part of the body. ButGeneration Z, they started out fast
out the gate with the tattoos. Now they're getting old enough to be able
to regret them, and we're findingthat more and more Gen z ers are

(11:39):
regretting the tattoos that they got intheir twenties. I remember that phase when
you were growing up and you're like, oh, let's get a tattoo,
and then you didn't really think itthrough and you got it. And now
we've all passed that, like,oh yeah, I regret that, let's
get that done. Now Gen Z'sentering that phase where they're like, why
did I get that tribal tattoo?I don't even know what that means,
or do I really I need thatbutterfly on my back? Like it's just

(12:01):
like all right, what am Igonna do. So they're getting more tattoos
removed now as they're kind of pushingthirty, and I mean it makes sense
with the technology now. Back whenwe got tattoos, I know that makes
it sounds old, but like backwhen we got tattoos, getting rid of
them wasn't really an option, andso it was like when you made the
decision, you made the decision forlife. Now they kind of get them
and they go, oh, Icould probably get it removed at some point.

(12:22):
But the problem, I think isit hurts more to get it removed
than it doesn't get the tattoo. As I said, only have one tattoo
was on my bicep. I rememberit like it was yesterday. This is
nineteen ninety two. I got it, and I didn't know what to expect
going in. They said it wasgoing to hurt. It wasn't like right
on the bone, but I rememberit felt like a beasting for forty five

(12:46):
minutes NonStop. It hurts so muchthat after a certain point my arm went
numb. I just couldn't feel anythinganymore. And I remember the tattoo artist
his girlfriend was there, and shewas nice enough to just talked to me.
We had like forty minutes of conversationto help take my mind off the
tattoo. But I knew going in, and my mother was adamantly a distant

(13:09):
because I lived at home at thetime. She said, no, you're
not going to get a tattoo. You know, thirty years later she has
a tattoo. Imagine that. ButI remember getting this like, Okay,
I want to be sure has todo with my fraternity. I know I'm
going to be a part of myfraternity for the rest of my life.
So I didn't feel I was goingto regret it later on, and now
some thirty some odd years later,I don't regret it at all. But

(13:33):
this younger generation, I guess they'rea little too quick with getting the tattoos
and now they're thinking about getting themremoved. I don't know. I mean
seeing my son for his eighteenth birthday, I paid for him to get his
first tattoo as well. All hewanted. He'd been thinking about it all
year two. We've been thinking aboutit as even longer than that. So

(13:56):
he's thought long and hard about thistattoo that he wanted. But it symbolizes
what it means and why it's important. So it's not just something that's just
like whatever for him. It hastrue significance for him. And he fell
asleep ball getting it. The tattoo. Where is it on him? It
is on his shoulder, so it'son his shoulder like just and it's pretty
big. It covers almost his wholeshoulder, so it's it's a significant it's

(14:22):
a big spider. And he thetattoo artist, was amazing and he just
you know, when he started,he was like, does hurt? He
was like nah, he said, like you said, he said, kind
of stings a little, but hesaid and I thought my son was gonna
be afraid because he hates needles, but he was like nah, next you
know, He's the hardest part forme was caring for it. It's probably

(14:43):
changed now that inc has probably changed. Yeah, But back then I had
to wrap my arm instell a fameand it was difficult to shower, had
to like leave my arm out ofthe shower because I didn't want to have
to ruin the tattoo and have tohave it redone or what have you.
But it's different now. I haven'tregret it, but I wasn't ridiculous.
I wasn't trying to get tattoos everywherefor everything, because I knew that as

(15:05):
I got older, and I definitelydid not want to get one where it
would sack as years went on.Like I was not going to get a
chest tattoo. Now seeing these kidsthey get these face tattoos, they're gonna
regret it. Oh, they're gonnaregret what they said. Face the neck,
all the way on the lip. There's one young lass Sauce. She
has tattoos all across her forehead andthen down her nose, across the cup

(15:30):
of her lip and down through thechin, down her neck like someone just
split her in the middle. On'mlike, you're going to regret that.
Eventually. They will eventually come upwith some sort of tattoo which will disappear
after a few years. They'll probablycome up with it eventually. We're not
there yet. We're not there yet. Yeah, And I always try to
admonish young people. It's like, look the person you are at eighteen,

(15:52):
you're going to be a completely differentperson at twenty eight and thirty eight.
But something else I saw with thegen Z generation. Did you know that
nearly half of Gen z ors.Forty three percent admit to turning off a
movie after encountering a sex or lovescene, which is more than any other
generation. They're turned off by that. And this is according to a new

(16:15):
poll of two thousand Americans conducted byTalker Research and also found that thirty three
percent of all respondents have stopped watchinga movie during a sex scene. I
was the exact opposite. Well,it's awkward when your parents are in the
same room with you. No,my parents would send me out of the
room when I was going out. They sent me out a room. Was
like, no, you have toleave now. So I guess when I

(16:37):
got older, it's like, Iwant to see what I've been missing out
on. And Millennials were the leastlikely generation to let a sex scene get
in the way of finishing the movie. But that really never impacted me.
When I was able to see asex scene, it didn't impact as far
as finishing the movie or not.I don't know why it's different. According
to this, younger Americans in theirtolerance of Newton and sex scenes in films

(17:02):
has been a growing topic of discussion, and a recent study by the Economists
found that nudity and sex scenes havedipped by nearly forty percent since the year
two thousand. That's weird because theydon't seem to have the same problem with
violence and extreme gore. I thinkviolence and extreme gore has supplanted and taken
the place of the sex scenes becausewe have more of those types of movies

(17:25):
than we have the erotic rom comsor what have you. Listen, an
average episode of CSI has more gorethan any seventy splatter movie. Yeah,
but I mean, nowadays, Ithink we are past the point where we
want to see James Bond getting iton. I want to see James Bond
doing incredible stunts in breaking people up, in killing folks more than I want

(17:45):
to see him with the Bond girl. And also, society has changed.
Let's stay right there with the wholeBond thing. The idea of this man
betting five different women in a movie, it doesn't land the same as it
did in the sixties and seventies.Yeah, you got to keep in mind
when James Bond was created. Atthis point, his behavior signifies that he's

(18:06):
a sociopath, But in like nineteenfifty three, he was just kind of
kind of the bad guy. Whoyou like to follow his adventures. But
see, that's why I like theDaniel Craig James Bond, because they humanized
him to a certain degree. Theylet it be known he was an alcoholic,
and they showed how alcoholism affected hisskill set. They showed him why

(18:30):
he was having these dispassionate yet sexualrelationships with women because the one who hurt
him in Casino Royale. I actuallyliked that evolution of the character. You
didn't mark, but I did.No. I mean, if you're gonna,
if you're gonna go that far, just make a new character, because
that's not James Bond. I mean, it's the James Bond for for now,
but for today's general. It wasn'tlike the producers of James Bond weren't

(18:52):
connected to the Ian Fleming family. They signed off on that. No,
but you know, half a centurylater, society's changed. I'm okay with
keeping things in their context. Imean, you can take any other kind
of thing that was made either whenwe were children or immediately before. A
lot of them don't hold up.I mean Captain Kirk's behavior doesn't hold up,
Okay, do women? Oh yeah, yeah, he had a sexual

(19:17):
diseases everywhere. Yeah, I meanall the green orion slave women. Come
on, we'll think of what theymust have been carrying real quickly before we
go to break Stephan. Do youhave any tattoos? I do not mark.
Do you have any tattoos? Wouldn'tknow what to get, like R
on one hand and L on theother. I can't even make my mind
what to wear. That's why myclothes all look the same. Yes,

(19:38):
no question, noqual you have anytattoos? Oh, sir. Generation it's
different. It's a rite of passage. And we've mentioned this before. I
did research on this, and Italked to sociologists. American kids don't have
nearly as many rights of passage asthey used to have half a century or
so ago. And it's a wayof marking off your body as your own

(19:59):
as you grow up. Yeap autonomy. Yep. It was for me that
then I could make my own decisionsand look at me now, great decisions.
It's later with mo Kelly, wehave more gen Z news, TikTok
trends. Guess what gen Z they'reshaving their teeth with a with a file,
a mail file. Believe it ornot, you're listening to Later with

(20:21):
Moe Kelly on demand from KFI AMsix forty. There's another new and unbelievable
TikTok trend. I like to takecare of my teeth. There have been
times where I've been more. I'vebeen better at it than others. The
pandemic was not a good time forme, you know, coming out of

(20:41):
the pandemic and going to the dentist. Oh, let me tell you it
was some some sleepless nights, somesleepless nights. But young people, they
are a very different generation in theirapproach to teeth. It's all about the
visual presentation now health just presentation, and specifically, gen zers are shaving down

(21:07):
their teeth with metal nail files togain followers, not only the esthetic of
how the teeth looked, to makethem even, but to gain followers.
Believe it or not, I'm goingto file my teeth down with the nail
file because they're not perfect. Ihave some rides and we're falling on a

(21:30):
budget. Grace yourselves. It's aTikTok trend that's making many people cringe.
Iling teeth with a nail file.Guys, it's literally working. Wait,
let me give myself some vampire teeth. Now, this DIY procedure is giving
dentists a toothache. Oh when Isaw your videos, I almost fell off
my cherry. You know. Ithink what people don't realize is that your

(21:51):
hand will grow back and your nailswill go back. But of course we
get one set of teeth, andonce you follow that, it's never going
to grow back. Experts are weighingin on TikTok off to spread the word,
including orthodontist doctor Benjamin Winters aka theDentist. Yeah, you did do
a bad thing. You just saidyou keep so pretty and just you just
chop them right off there. Man, don't get madame when you're taking more

(22:11):
sensitive in a two year old crimeover spill nicksigle. You wanted some veniers
a song. Hopefully didn't go farenough. There's some blood couch out of
there. Think, huh, whatdo you say the dentists. Yeah,
you did do a bad thing. You just said you take so pretty and
just you just check them right offthere. Man, don't get madame when
you're taking more sensitive than a twoyear old crime over spill nicksigle. You
want to need some veniers a songhopefully didn't go far enough. There's some

(22:32):
blood couture out of their think can. One person who tried filing her teeth
wrote in the caption whatever you do, don't do this, okay? Does
is it an unknown that teeth andnoutl does not grow back? Do people
not realize that or do they notcare? I'm gonna guess they don't know

(22:52):
it. Yeah. Same, Theygot the Internet. You can actually google
this stuff. You can look itup and see what happened to your teeth,
and you follow down and you'll probablyhit a nerve or something and then
your teeth are done. You shouldknow more than anyone mo that people have
access to all the information in theworld on the Internet, and they don't

(23:14):
use it to find out anything useful. They use it to look at videos
of kiddies and porn. Touche touche. But it's weird. In this news
report they call it like a DIYthing. No, it's not a do
it yourself thing. A DIY thingis something that is usually done in a
professional setting or by professionals, andthen you are taking upon yourself to do

(23:37):
it yourself, as opposed to thecertified professional. Oh Dennis are not going
to say, shave down your teethfor cosmetic purposes like that. There may
be a time in which they needto shave it so they can put on
a crown or something for a dentalprocedure, but they're not doing what these
kids are doing. No. Ialways thought shave your teeth was something you
did with a hangover and it wasa figure of scene, not literally they

(24:02):
get up and shave your teeth andyou go to work. It was more
difficult for me to just go tothe dentist. And my dnnis is Dennis
Torrent dot com that you can seeall the time where I go to dentis.
But for me, I had dentalanxiety, and for me to go
to the dentist, it took alot for me to go because I knew

(24:23):
when I got there there there wasa lot of pain awaiting me. The
last thing I was going to dois do something to harm my teeth for
the sake of followers likes hearts, for the approval of people I don't know

(24:44):
and will never meet and who reallydon't care. There's nothing like the sound
and the aroma of getting teeth thrilled. Is there? Oh? No?
The worst is when I had atooth implant, and I talked about this
when they did it, like ayear and a half ago, had a
tooth implant, and what they needto do is they have to drill a
hole in your jaw so they canstick a post through and then anchor it.

(25:08):
And to here, the drill isone thing. To smell, the
drill is something else. You've justensured that. I'm going to wait another
year before I get that done. But wait, but then you feel the
drill punching through your jawbone. Thatis when I said, okay, I
don't know if I can do this. The only thing worse was when they

(25:32):
were actually putting the tooth on thepost as they call it, and they
can't slide it down. They haveto hammer it down. It is a
literal metal hammer and they're hammering thetooth down your open mouth. And I
don't know if I've ever felt asmuch pain in my life. And that's

(25:53):
with the painkiller, that's with theanesthetic, the topical aniestet. I got
all the teeth I need. Ican be down one. Oh. I
told no. I told my mydentist. I said, we will never
do this again. So you stillfelt it. Oh yeah, I felt
it. I need some more.I need some more something because my dentist

(26:15):
is not one is going to actuallylike put me out. He doesn't know.
He would rather give you more painkillerthan you know, put you under.
Well, you've had him on theshow and he inspired some confidence,
and I think I got his infofrom you. But yeah, now I
don't know because the whole thing tootrust it. No, I trust him,
But I'm not going to go throughthat experience again. If I should

(26:37):
have any more teeth that need tocome out, well I'll just have some
gaps. If my front two shouldfall out, oh well we're done and
I'll just whistle wherever I go.It was good enough for our grandparents.
Well look, I had a goodrun, all right. I can't take
a mall with me. I'm notgoing to take a mall with me.
You can order Meet Loaf almost anywhere. You don't. You don't need the

(27:00):
teeth that much, but you know, but I'm not going to file down
my teeth for cosmetic purposes to pleasepeople for followers. This is this is
way beyond anything that I would everconsider, way beyond if I'm not gonna
if I don't like other people puttingtheir hands in my mouth and doing things
to me. The last thing I'mgoing to do is inflict pain on myself.

(27:22):
Not going to do it. Wouldyou say it's even more ill advised
than covering yourself in tattoos? Now, I wouldn't say that, if only
because the tattoo is not going todirectly impact my life going forward. I'm
not going to lose function of myarm, presumably because I have a tattoo.
I need my teeth, and Iwill use my teeth going forward.

(27:45):
And if I were to file themdown, that probably limits their usefulness.
Well, if you take them outbefore you file them, it won't hurt
as much. Oh okay, I'lltry that, you know, just before
you take them out of the glasswhere you store them overnight. Oh.
Talk about generational differences growing up.I can talk about it now because my
father's gone. But seeing my father'swhat they called a partial who had like

(28:07):
four or five teeth air quotes.Yeah, and just just sitting in that
goopy water and it's like you're gonnaput that in your mouth, you eat
with that. It's just weird becausegenerationally that was just an accepted part of
aging. You lost your teeth andyou dealt with it. But looking at
it now, maybe they had itright because they avoid the whole drilling and

(28:30):
hammering into your jaw. As Ithink about it, I could have done
without the implant process. It hasn'tchanged my life, you know, because
you had to really I had tosmile and pull my lips back for you
to see whether it was a gapin my smile. Okay, but now
this far it was. You say, it's been about a year and a
half. Yeah. Yeah. Areyou totally back to normal now? No

(28:52):
discomfort nothing, Oh, completely backto normal. I can't even feel that
it's a non tooth. Still notsold. Oh you don't have to be
sold. I get it. Iget it. But if you should have
it done, I want to bethere so I can see them and flip
pain on you. I might takeyou up on that. Buddy boy,
all right, I know someone gota good dentnis I can recommend. I'll

(29:12):
make you hold my hand. It'sLady with Moe Kelly. Can if I
am six forty live everywhere on theiHeartRadio app. You're listening to Later with
Moe Kelly on demand from KFI amsix forty. We're gonna talk about roller
coasters and rank them, but there'sso many across all the Southern California we
can't do them all. So we'lljust do Magic Mountain, which is the

(29:33):
pre eminent thrill seeker ride enthusiast parkand Mark, have you ever been to
Magic Mountain? By chance? Notyet? No, have you been to
any of the Southern California parks.I was at Disneyland a number of years
ago, about how long ago?Roughly long time? Okay, all right,
all right, So here the topten rides roller coasters at Magic Mountain.

(30:00):
And I know Twala has been relativelyrecently, so he probably knows better
than me. Some of these ridesI have been on some of them,
I have not. Coming in atnumber ten at Magic Mountain. Oh it
helps if I turn on my computer. Batman the ride, Yeah that's a

(30:22):
good one. Oh, I goon that. I've heard about that.
That Yeah sounds like fun. Yeah. Number nine Superman Escaped from Krypton.
But that's such a short ride,but it's scary as hell. That's just
the up and back. Yeah, yeah, it is pretty scary. It
makes your heart like leap almost outbut I like the g forces on the

(30:45):
it's just Chierclair. Yeah. Numbereight West Coast Racers. I don't think
I've been on that one. That'sthe one where it looks like two cars
side by side and they yeah, okay, Number seven full Throttle. No

(31:11):
no, not no, no,no, these are all yeah. Number
six Goliath that is That's when Isaid, hell no, awesome. Yeah,
that's that's one of the little I'mnot getting all that thing. Number

(31:32):
five Wonder Woman Flight of Courage. It opened in twenty twenty two, and
I have not been on this one. I have been on anything. You're
looking at me, No, no, don't. I drop my kids off
and they've been on all of theseand they love all of them. Oh
they're also you know, under theage of fifty. Oh yeah, I

(31:56):
don't. I'm at remember how youyou would go up to these rides and
they would say, do not geton the ride, or something to the
fact, do not get on theride if you have heart problems or you're
pregnant. Well, I've reached thatpoint where I understand what they mean.
I am not getting on the ridebecause the sensation is not pleasant. Also,
if you're incontinent, stay off theride. That's someone else's problem problem.

(32:21):
Coming at number four, Twisted Colossus, I like the regular Colossus.
I don't know that one. Yeah, but I gotta be twisted. What
were we doing? Look, it'sa wood roller coaster, you know,
sound rickety and everything. Number threeThe Revolution or the New Revolution, the

(32:47):
updated version of the Revolution. Classic. Yeah, it's classic right now,
classic, but I'm not wowed byit. Number two TOTSU not familiar with
it. I know that was likeas far as I know, that's like
one of the first ones where you'rehanging like you look down the whole time

(33:09):
you're writing, oh no, no, no, thank you, no,
no, no no, and comingin at number one as far as the
best roller coaster in southern California,at least in Magic Mountain. X two

(33:35):
I knew it. I no,I've been at the park, I said.
I refuse to get on that.I was willing to bet my next
paycheck. I was like, it'sgonna be X two for sure. That
one is insane. New No,sir, Fosh, you are still of
that age where your heart doesn't matterto you, right, you don't think
about it. The seats rotate threehundred and sixty degrees, forcing riders at

(33:57):
times into faced face first drops.Yeah, and it goes on loops while
you're spinning around on this X shapedcar that you're in. Why is that
fun? Why? Like the firstdrop, you're actually going back, like
the lift up, you're laying backso your fate. You're looking up at
the sky, and then it goesdown and you just look ninety degrees straight
down and then it keeps going. That's not fun, that's terror. Yeah.

(34:22):
Does somebody spit on you at theend of it too? Fu dude,
No, uh, I don't knowwhat the allure is. And look
my blended sons and younger cousins, they can't get enough of these rides.
Even when I was a kid,it's like, okay, that's cool.

(34:45):
I was just going to amusement parksbecause I was hoping to me to girl.
Just being serious that that was myonly motivation. The rides were secondary.
The musement park was a good placeto pick up girls. And see
my kids they go to literally ridethe rides. They're going because they wanted
to get and my son, himand his friends, they're not there trying
to holler girls. No, theyare there to ride the rides and out

(35:06):
thrill each other. My goal isto get some phone numbers at places like
Disneyland, because the girls were thereand they usually go in groups of you
know, four or six, andyou hopefully be able to pair up and
go on Small World and do alittle something on a small World because back
in the day, Small World usedto be almost pitch black. Were you
trying to pick up on the carniefolk? Were those No? No,
no, no, no, thosewere adults. Now I'm trying to pick

(35:29):
up girls who are at the park. I'm because if you get on Small
World, you could do some things. Little packs the girls, a little
road. Yeah, your crew, you see another crew, you try to
like match, thank you TWA.Make sure that you you find off the
one you don't want, like a, you know, to take one for

(35:50):
the team. I know she's fuckedme, but come on, look,
you already got a girl. Youcan't come on, dude, you don't
need anybody like like going and keepher occupied. You've never tried to hit
on girls at the amusement park. No, I'm getting a major coolie high
vibe out of this, though, like like like preachers trying to hook up
with that's the hole. That's literallywhat it was. I can't believe you've

(36:15):
gone your whole life and not triedto hook up with a girl at amusement
park. Well pardon me, butI think that, hey, you want
to hook up on it's a smallworld. Might'send the wrong message. You
don't come out and say you hookedup. It's like mark. Literally,
there's an understanding between cruise of maleand female cruise. Like if you say,

(36:36):
hey, so you want to rideon it, it's a small world.
What's happening? You already know what'salready know it's going down. It's
Netflix and chill. Yes, Heyhow about we head into the Hall of
Presidents together? Yeah, I don'tthink so. The Hearted House that was
a good ride to go on withthe girl on the House was good.
Yeah yeah yeah. Parks of theCaribbean absolutely, that was probably the darkest

(36:59):
one, especially especially those seats werestill a little loose and you kind of
lean back you go down. Yeah, how about a little Lauren Bobert activity
on that twenty thousand Leagues under theSea ride like that? You mean on
the submarines? Yeah, yeah,No one got on that submarine. No
it's nasty. Okay, all right, I'm trying Mark. This is my

(37:21):
heart. My heart is bleeding foryou because this is you've missed out.
Yeah, you've missed out, liketalk about ride of passages for young ales
in southern California. That was oneof them. You have never tried to
get your freak on on. It'sa small world. Is this shock you?
Genuinely? I'm being serious? Yes, it Look it was the Mile
High Club for us. I meanI could see uh, maybe walking up

(37:45):
to a nice young lady and saying, how'd you like to explore the matterhorn?
Ma'am. We didn't use corny lineslike that, and maybe that's why
you're still a version. That's why? Is this? Is this? How
you know Mark is not been toDisneyland for real? Because yeah, you
you don't say the matter horn? You don't? Yeah, Oh Mark,

(38:06):
what is it if it's not thematterhorn anymore? Look at the time,
