Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, this is the Doug Gottlieb Show. Heres in
the Bonus with Doug Gottlieb.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What's it's the Doug Gottlieb Show. It's Fox Sports Radio.
It's the iHeartRadio app. Welcome in. I hope you're doing great.
The Doug Gotlieb Show broadcast live from that tyrack dot
com studios. So Caitlin park Kark played again last night

(00:33):
and last night. She tweaked her ankle last night. She
shot the ball better last night. They lost. Last night.
She had more turnovers, but seems to be kind of
figuring out and getting more effective. And her coach couldn't
seem to manage the in game interview. That was a
little weird. That was a little weird.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Why did they do that? Why do the hell the
coaches talked during play? That sounds really stupid to me.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I don't mind it. I'm all do it during my games.
I don't care. I mean, like, first half, I'll do it,
you know. I mean, you can't or shouldn't necessarily coach
every play, So I don't. I don't mind it in
any way. I don't, but again, you know, you got
to have it all kind of buttoned up and by

(01:22):
the way, she just she just signed an endorsement deal
with Wilson. Wilson, of course, is the official basketball of
college basketball and also of the NBA and the WNBA.
She had seventeen points on the night. We go to
our resident expert on WNBA, Hoo's Jason Stewart, who's watched
every game because he's fascinated by this. Right, they lost

(01:45):
at home, they're more competitive to the Connecticut Sun. It
was really the third quarter of them. What stuck out
to you about this game? Game four of the Caitlyn
Clark era.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
She had one or two of those moments that I
tune in for. And I think that when when you
talk about her like selling out in Brooklyn and Los
Angeles and the massive amount of popularity and ratings and stuff,
I think people are tuning in to see exactly what
we saw last night when she hit that that logo

(02:17):
three on the fast break. Okay, that play. We need
to see her do that fifty times a game. I
know that means she would have one hundred and fifty
points that make, but I'm exaggerating like that. If she
does that more often, then it'll justify all of this attention,
But the first three games we're kind of like we're minus.

(02:39):
That's those moments. And if she's just gonna be a
pedestrian ballplayer that's average or even a slightly above average,
I don't think it'll justify all this attention. And I
think it'll go away pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's gonna be interesting, right they play Washington coming up next,
who hasn't won a game. You know, winning games will help.
But you know, there's a reason that they got the
number one overall pick they have.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Do you think so do you think that's true, Doug,
Do you think anyone out Indiana cares if she wins?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, because if she doesn't win, then she's not in
the playoffs, and then all of a sudden, again you
have you know, you'll have a massive drop off in
popularity if she's not in the playoffs. So yeah, I
think that matters. I think that matters. I also think, like, look,
she's she's figuring it out some it's a complete change

(03:35):
and level of competition, it just is, and and her
teammates are figuring out how to play with her. So
I I'm not surprised by some of the struggles. She
shot the ball better she's there getting there and and
let's see, let's give them kind of an honest look.
After a couple more games, you know, like the Mystics

(03:58):
and the Wings, Wings Dallas, Is that who that is?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Okay, you know you start to get to where you're
playing some winnable games, and then you have the Aces
probably not a winnable game, or they play them twice
in a row, and we'll see what's what. But I
think it's like completely normal, and you know some people
don't like the word normal. Completely normal to have some

(04:23):
struggles early on, both by her and by her teammates
playing with her.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I have a question for you. Yeah, I saw this
quote from her. Do you agree with this? Because she
tweaked her ankle and she did. I will give her this.
It was kind of a soccer player reaction, like she
went down like she was shot by a sniper, and
there was a lot of emotion and then all of
a sudden, she's playing again, So there was a little

(04:49):
soccer player to it. But she said this after the game.
Every basketball players had an ankle injury. If you haven't,
you're not a true baller. Who said then, Caitlin Clark
Number twenty two for the Indiana Fever.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Never spream my ankle, Never spam my ankle.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
But so that means, according to her, you're not a
true ball footballer. You never rolled your ankle.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Not really. I so I had my trainer growing up
was a guy named Marv Murnovich. Obviously, people remember Todd
who was first round draft pick of the Raiders out
of USC started and then and then flamed out because
of small of the off the field stuff. But Marv
was the first to do what's called slide board training,
a slant board training. Sorry, So it's like a you'll

(05:42):
see it in gyms, especially, see it in workout facility
and rehab facilities, and you know what, you're doing squats
but your feet are off balance. What does it strengthens
all the ligaments and tendons. So I have super like
I have. I've trained to not have it, so I'm
sure I rolled it. But I tape in college. They
made us tape a Notre Dame. I hated it so

(06:04):
and they would check our tape. So I would just
put I had to you had to shave your ankles,
you know, So he didn't didn't catch in the hair.
So I would just you know, put a layer of
tape at the top of my socks so it looked
like I had tape, And then I never got taped,
never got tape, never shaw my ankle.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Wow, I'm gonna tell Frand McCaffrey.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Oh he knows. We also had jockstrap checks there. Swear
to God, chock strap check to make sure you were
wearing them. Yes, notre Dame check your future.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
We had cup chucks in high school with baseball belts.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Can I just weigh in on I think Kayln Clark,
the team's getting better before our eyes. We're four games in.
She's playing better. She's clearly like the best player on
that team. I mean she's leading them into points and assists.
I know she's making mistakes.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
For people to Did you just drop a wi what's that? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:52):
He said, when did I say we? And I'm gonna say, uh,
I'm talking I'm talking about Excuse me, I'm talking about viewers.
Excuse me, I'm talking about people watching her. I'm not
saying we. I'm talking about people watching her. We're seeing her.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
You said we, we know, we said we're getting better.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I did not say that. We can roll back the
tape Okay, well, I they I said, they're clearly getting
better before our eyes.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
So he's getting frustrated, isn't he?

Speaker 4 (07:17):
No, I'm just that's not what I said. I'm not
getting getting a little Frustrated'm not trying to take I'm
not trying.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I'm just mess with you, Sammy. They are getting better.
She's getting better. They're getting better. You can you can
see it. The one the challenge that they're going to have,
the challenge they're going to have is that you know,
they're they're going to be like Duke right where they're
everybody's biggest game. You know, they're everybody's biggest game. So

(07:44):
I think it's going to be fascinating to see how
this plays out.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I agree, and to Sam's point where I know that
he was studfast and getting the point across that it
wasn't a wi. But you've made this point. You just
made the point last week about Bradley Beal. Maybe he
was just the high scorer on the Washington Bullets or
whatever their names.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Are, the best player and a bad team.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yeah, there's always a high scorer on a bad team.
So it's like that's not going to be enough, right,
she needs to transcend the w NBA. Like being the
highest scoring Indiana Fever isn't going to be enough, right.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
M I would disagree there. I mean, like, look, they
have to win games, you know, at some point. I
don't think she has to win a ton. But getting
the playoffs would really really help, really really help, because
they would give you more. But I don't think you
cannot win and people buy in because then you become
a like we said about Brad Beial best player and

(08:43):
a bad team. So I do think you have to win.
Some don't have to win a championship, don't have compete
for championship, but but you got you gotta win some.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Let's let's get to what the Fox said, and now
say this is Dan Patrick talking about the Celtics.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Now the pressure gets ratcheted up. Playoffs are missing a
lot of familiar faces when you think about it, so
no Lebron, no step no KD, no Joker, and the
lack of former champs feels like there's even more pressure
building in Boston. And rightfully so. This has been like
a half a decade here that they've been flirting with

(09:33):
winning a title in the Eastern Conference Finals, going to
the NBA Finals. The team lost to the Warriors in
twenty twenty two in the finals, twenty twenty three lost
to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. And
now here we are. Now you got your great chance.
DraftKings currently has Boston as a heavy favor to win
the title. So after years of underperforming in the postseason,

(09:56):
no better opportunity than this. We should expec championships out
of them?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Why not?

Speaker 5 (10:02):
And Jason Tatum, I know people keep trying to shoehorn
him in and he could be the face of the NBA.
I don't think he wants to be the face of
the NBA. I think he just is a really good player.
But we've seen him get a little tight when you know,
the games get bigger, spotlight gets a little bit brighter.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
They should win, They definitely should win. And look, it's
the old heavy is the head that wears the crown,
But the truth is they haven't actually worn the crown.
Dealing with expectations is probably it's one of the hardest
things in life, and they've failed at it before. But
a lot of players have failed at it, you know.
I mean Jordan had to fail before he succeeded. Lebron

(10:42):
had to fail before he succeeded. KD had to fail
before he succeeded. So all those things are are real
and understandable. I do think the Celtics should win this.
We should also point out they've been without presingis if
they have a healthy person, they should be and they
will be a prohibited favorite. But there is something about

(11:06):
the tenacity of the Pacers backup unit right, and they
have their own Marcus Smart you know, coming off coming
off the bench. I think it's gonna be a fun series.
And you have a you have a head coach, you
have a young head coach for the Celtics, you have
it as experienced at a championship head coach in Rick Carlisle.
Should be a lot of should be a lot of fun.
But yes, the Celtics are the prohibited favorite for reason,

(11:28):
and how they handle that is interesting. Here's Paul Pierce
talking about the Lakers next head coach.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
To be honest, and we don't go that route. I
would almost rather see in that position I've been around Rejon.
He's he's he's inspired to be a coach like this
has always been since he was a place right now,
since he's been a player, So you know he do anything.
I think if you're gonna bring us somebody and you're
talking about JJ Reddick, I'd rather have.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You know what. I like that.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
I know that Lebron respects Rondo on that same level
of basketball IQ because I've heard him say that they
played together, they won a championship with the same locker.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Room and listen, Rondo would tell Lebron, no.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
And yes, yes, Rondo has the attitude that's going to
get respected, and he could command the locker room.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
He could.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
And so if we looking at these names we talk
about first time head coaches, I'll rather go to raise Law.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I don't mind the Rondo thing. The issue with Rondo
is he can be a bit divisive. He's one of
these guys that can run hot and cold on people,
and I don't know that from JJ. I do think
that part of it is JJ kind of creating and
crafting this image as well, but some of it is
real orreas I think JJ feels like more of a
guy who can unite the locker room. Remember, when you're
coaching a team, especially in the NBA, a good portion

(12:43):
of it is about handling egos, and Rondo does have
a sizable ego. Do I think he has the basketball IQ?
Do I think he has the respect to people? Yes?
And yes, And I don't hate the idea. But I
also think that that Lebron gravitates to smart, he gravitates
towards prepared. And there's a lot of JJ, which I

(13:05):
told you, I knew that the comparison is coming. There's
a lot of the pat riley to JJ, and I
get why. That's what they are, That's how they're trying
to do it, how they're trying to position it. If
you will, here's Colin Cowhard.

Speaker 7 (13:22):
In the NBA, they have something called the Bird exception
that you can resign your free agents, your free agents
if they've been with you for three years, and it
can go over the cap. In the NFL, here's my
new name. It's called the Dak dilemma. If you're a
football team that has a good quarterback, but he fills
those four boxes, he's productive, the team wins an occasional

(13:48):
playoff win, he's reliable, mostly healthy and has tremendous leverage.
The NBA's got the Bird exception. The NFL has the
Dak dilemma. What do you do when a quarterback mostly
fills those four boxes, but he's good and you have
to pay him great money. You will become exactly what

(14:09):
the Cowboys have been under Dak, relevant and never elite.
What you can't be in this league is chaotic at quarterback,
and I think that's what makes the Dak Prescott situation.
He's got the leverage, he is productive, he's mostly healthy,
and when he is they win. You'd like him to
win more in the playoffs, but I'd like Lamar Jackson

(14:31):
to win more in the playoffs. I'd like Josh Allen
to win more in the playoffs. The Dak dilemma is
real and it's what half the teams in this league
are facing. You cannot be special when you pay a
good quarterback great money. And once again, I think the
Cowboys will be trapped.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I don't think they're going to be trapped because I
think this is the first time they've done the right
and smart thing by a allowing instead of signing him early,
allowing him to play out his contract that's that's my
belief to it. But I do think that everything Colin
is saying from this point forward is is ultimately accurate.

(15:14):
It just is it's ultimately accurate. And how they've been
they've been trapped in the past. That's what the Fox says.

Speaker 7 (15:21):
Say.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Let's find out who and what is annoying? Jason Stewart
with something we call.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
And now it's your annoying.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Hey, Doug, if you're not aware of the Harrison buttker situation,
said but kerr that implore you to google it. If
you're a listener and you're not aware of it, google it.
Generally speaking, he spoke to a Catholic college, a room
of Catholics about graduating, and he had said that a

(16:14):
lot of you women are going to go on to
have successful careers, but a lot of you are going
to embrace being homemakers, and that is an amazing job
that you should embrace. He basically said that that's a paraphrasing,
and most of the left leaning media has picked up
on that last part, they conveniently leave out the first part.

(16:37):
Would you agree with that, Doug?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, but I mean, like, okay, go ahead, I'm keep going.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
So how this has evolved is that it got to
be such an outrage machine last week that it got
to the level of the White House. A CNN reporter
asked our White House publicist if Harrison Butker was still
invited when the Chiefs make their White House appearance. Now,

(17:07):
think about how politically charged that question is. Is Harrison
Butker still invited when the Chiefs make their White House appearance?
I could do an entire year annoying on that question,
but I'm going to choose not to. This is what
our press secretary said, Our White House press secretary, Jean
Pierre Carine, Jean Pierre. She says. What I can say

(17:33):
is all of the team, per usual when there's a championship,
team invited gets invited. I don't have anything to add
other than their attendance and how that looks. But the
team is always invited. Everyone on the team is invited.
You see what she did there. She made a political calculation.
The White House has made a political calculation. Joe Biden

(17:56):
knows that Christians vote, so you don't want to piss
off Christians in this political season, which is what makes
the NFL a week ago that much more admonishable, because
remember the NFL was compelled to make a statement a
day after all this thing became a thing, and they said,
we do not share the views of Harrison. Butker I

(18:20):
came on this podcast at the time and said, it
really sucks that the NFL is doing this. I know
for a fact that their ownership group, which makes up
what thirty thirty one white men that are typically Christian,
they don't agree with what the NFL is doing here.
So even the White House knows that you're not supposed
to piss off either side, So don't make a statement.

(18:44):
And that's why I'm going to admonish the NFL again
for giving into the mob initially and being disingenuous. I
know they don't feel that way. I know they don't
feel that way.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Look, here's the thing I watched the Speed. There is
a lot of good that. There's a lot of salient
points that were made of it. There was a lot
of the kind of alpha male stuff, you know, which
I don't think it landed in nearly the way that

(19:19):
people that want to support Harrison Butker like you can,
you can support the gist of what he's saying and
go like, I don't know, you know, because like I
do in fact understand it. I do in fact understand it. Truthfully,
I completely understand it. But what I I think should

(19:43):
be made clear is that, look, it's you he knew
how it was going to land, right, and if he didn't,
and this is one of those defiants, Hey, women should
be allowed. It's not allowed. I mean, it's just as
successful in your profession if you choose to not have

(20:03):
a classic profession and stay home. I mean, there's a
lot more discussion to it. But in the idea of
would he be allowed back in the White House, Like,
that's the dumbest thing I would agree with you, that's
like the dumbest thing ever. Right, You're allowed to have
your own thoughts like this is, you know, as long
as they don't impinge upon the freedoms of others, you know,

(20:26):
and the laws, they're not hate speech. You're allowed to
have these thoughts. So yeah, I mean, this is one
where I think the way in which he said or
some of the things he said didn't land well with me,
don't land well for a lot of people, But you're
allowed to have those opinions. We're allowed to disagree with him,
but that does that shouldn't shut off the chances of
going to the White House to celebrate a Super Bowl

(20:47):
because your thought is different than those who are in power.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
And the NFL needs to figure out how they manage
these situations because I know for a fact that that
statement they released so we could go was disingenuous. Caitlin
Clark and the straw man fallacy. For those who don't
know what a straw man fallacy, it's it's used in
our business a lot like when Colin Cowherd says, Hey, Giants,

(21:11):
Twitter is upset at me because I don't think they're
gonna be a good football team. When he says giants,
Twitter is upset at me. That's a straw man and
then for the next five minutes he can make his
case against the Giants, But that first part can't be provable,
which makes it a straw man fallacy. Asia who's the
current champion in the NBA, Asia Wilson, I was reading

(21:35):
a La Thomas piece today because the Caitlin Clark's coming
to La on Friday, and I guess the crypt Cryptodome
or whatever it's sold out for Friday. It's a big deal.
And I think maybe Io Sam's got tickets to that.
I'm not even sure. He hasn't even told me. But
this is what Asia Wilson says when she talks about

(21:56):
why Caitlin Clark is popular. A lot of people say
to me that it's not black or white. And that's
why it boils my blood when people say it's not
about race, because it is. Nobody is saying it's not
about race. I have yet to hear a person say
that the Caitlin Clark phenomenon that her popularity has nothing

(22:20):
to do with race. That's ignorant and that's naive. But
Asia Wilson is creating a straw man seat. It boils
her blood that people say it's not about race. You
and I have both talked on this podcast. You've said
on the radio show that there, if there is a
pie with the reasons why Caitlin Clark is popular, race

(22:42):
has a piece of that pie. Her her sexuality has
a piece of that pot, like her marketability to the
middle of our country has a piece of that pie.
But nobody is saying it has nothing to do with race, Doug, No.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
No, they're not. And it's frankly, it's super super silly
to think to think otherwise. But when people and you know,
I just we have a fraction of people on both sides, okay,
on both sides who their first inclination is to react with, oh,

(23:25):
it's got to be about race. And it's like you said, like,
is a race a factor? Like, yeah, it's always a
factor in you know, it's a factored in some level,
you know, as much as you know for you and me,
it isn't or shouldn't be whatever in this particular, like
why people gravitate towards or why people don't gravitate towards
people like if you want, like especially in this but

(23:46):
it's it's just so obtuse to all of the other factors,
and when that becomes the only thing that rings in
your head, you in fact become a racist, right, I
mean that's really the only way to express it. So yeah,
I mean, like, look, I think there's a multitude of factors.
I think the fact that she's it's not just that

(24:08):
she's white and from the Midwest. She looks like she's
white and from the Midwest, and oh yeah, by the way,
being straight is like again, all of this is part
of we talked about the Harrison Butker thing. Right, Remember,
like in women's sports, there's a big there's the big
fight of what to do with with transgender athletes, and

(24:31):
and it's like, like Britney Griner. Would people have fought
harder for Britney Griner to be back if you know,
if she wasn't all tatted up, she didn't have an
alternative lifestyle? Right, Maybe, I don't know. The point is
to me, she's an American citizen as well as a
basketball star. We fought, We gave up a lot to

(24:51):
get her back from something that was, you know, complete
bullshit in Russia. So I just what we're doing is
you you said, what do you have straw Man fallacy?

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Straw Man fallacy creating a straw Man fallacy.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah, that's that's apparently what we're doing.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
I just.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
It gets really really tiresome because it minimizes altogether, like
is the fact that she's white. Probably she also scored
more points than anybody in the history of the women's game.
She also got to the championship game two years in
a row with Iowa. She also I think led the
country and assists like there's a lot more to it

(25:30):
than just the fact that she has white skin. What else.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
I feel compelled to lighten it up a little bit, Doug,
this has been a very heavy yeor annoying. So let's
talk about Diddy and the video of him beating the
shit out of his actual friend. So Diddy did this thing,
it's a video. He came out with an apology. He
came out with apology basically saying that's me on the
video and I can't believe what I'm looking at and

(25:54):
I apologize. And then CNN shows to book a hip
hop artist named Camron. I don't know if you know
who Camron is. It is the SoundBite of the night,
maybe the year. It's the video of the year. The
interview went something like this, is there.

Speaker 8 (26:15):
Something known in the industry about how did he treated
his artists?

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Sorry, I'm going to get some cheeks after this horse
College joint.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
So that's Camron instead of answering a question, drinking drinking
a drink that raises your libido, and then he says
he's going to go out and get some cheeks afterwards,
I had to go on Urban Dictionary. That means that
he's going to go out and get asks. He's going
to go out and get tail. So he said that
in the middle of the CNN interview, and then the

(26:47):
interview ended this way.

Speaker 8 (26:49):
What about the industry in general? I mean so many
people have pointed out that did he couldn't get away
with this stuff if there weren't a lot of people
protecting him. Do you think that's the case?

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Who the talent agent for this joint?

Speaker 7 (27:01):
Right?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
You think I'd be sitting around watching what did he do?

Speaker 5 (27:04):
And all this?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
I didn't know this was a Diddy joint that was
invited me to. Yeah, who booked me for this joint?
All right, Wolin, I'll be watching Diddy and all that.

Speaker 8 (27:13):
Thanks thanks for joining us, Thank you for your time tonight.

Speaker 7 (27:16):
Thank you, thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
You enjoyed Cassey.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
In case you missed that, you had someone booked on
a show to talk about Diddy. And at the end
of the interview, he's asking who booked this? Who booked
me to talk? I'm not talking about Diddy? So you know,
and this touch is really close to home because I've
I've done booking for a living and somebody fucked up
here and I don't know if it was Camron's guy

(27:41):
or Abby Brooks's guy. I think her name is Abby Brooks.
What is it Abby? Abby? Phil up there to that'd
be Philip. Somebody fucked up here. But no matter what,
as annoying as this booking situation as it's fucking hilarious, right, it's.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Hilarious, it's it's hysterical. How about he's like drinking, He's
like drinking and drinking then got to the bottom like
the whole thing. It felt like it felt like a skit.
It really felt like a skit. That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
What else?

Speaker 3 (28:16):
No, that's it?

Speaker 2 (28:16):
So I the the I don't. I it's annoying because
you get like, that's however many minutes out of my life.
I'd like to get back and there's a satellite link
and hookup but uh, Cameron, Yeah, but Cameron thing that
the fact that he you booked a guest on something

(28:38):
that everybody's talking about and he had no willingness to
talk about it. So I want those however many minutes
of my life back.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Why are we doing this because we can?

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Hey, Doug, so Eddie Vedder makes it into our podcast
today and it reminds me of a great joke by
j Moore. Jay says that he was in the middle
of a pro jam concert and Eddie Vedder always talks
between songs, and he always says something political. So he's like,
I'm sitting there, I got a good buzz on, and
Eddie Vedder starts talking to the crowd and he says, hey,

(29:20):
John or Dick Cheney's an asshole, and then the whole
place goes crazy, and then Jay Moore's punchline is, no,
you're the asshole. You haven't played Jeremy yet. So I
thought about this. Eddie Vetter talked about the aforementioned Harrison
Butker at his concert the other night.

Speaker 9 (29:40):
You know, the irony was that this football player kicker,
you see, the kicker because he doesn't have the pass
because he hasn't been but you know, he started he

(30:03):
started telling me. He was telling men to don't forget
to puff up your chests and and and be more masculine,
don't lose your masculinity. The irony was when he was
saying that he lived by.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Sitting for.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
And I do it, Like, look, there there is a
certain amount of truth to what Eddie's saying. Like, I understand, Jason,
what side of this you sit on, but it's the whole,
Like if you have to tell everybody you're a dude,
it's it's honestly, it's a lot like the you know,
it's all like guys that the guys that talk about
sex the most are usually the guys that get the least.

(30:49):
I think that's kind of what he's getting at. Why
could we play it for you because we can. All Right,
that's it for the In the Modus podcast. Check out
the radio show every day three to five Eastern time,
