What Up America, It is the Doug Gottlieb Show. No Doug,
but you're gonna hear from Doug because he had something
to say via social media that is making some waves.
Also making waves a ranking of the NFL's best signal callers.
We start there as we are broadcasting love from the

has a protection in over ten thousand recommended installers. Tirec
dot Com the way tire buying should be. I already
lie to Aaron Torres, what was that? Because we aren't
going to start immediately with the quarterback rankings. Oh okay,
because I do think that there is one thing that
we do have to start about today, and this is
because I think in some way or an other everyone
can relate. But with the actions and what happened over

(01:05):
the weekend and with the assassination attempt of President Trump,
who's a candidate to be president again that we know
with that story happening, I just feel like there are
there are stories that we talk about a lot. We
talk about it in sports, we talked about it in
life of will you remember where you were when that
story happened? And I think a lot of us of

(01:26):
my age remember the Challenger nine to eleven, obviously because
it had affected so many of us, But I know
that there's a generation prior to me and prior to
you that will always remember the day when JFK was
assassinated and where they were at that point. And I
just feel like, of what happened this past Saturday with

(01:49):
the assassination attempt, that I wonder if that's going to
be one of those points that you always remember because
we're forty eight hours away, you know, since it happened,
and I just think it's an enormous deal, and I
almost feel like we've moved on to other election things
at that point, and so I think this is always
going to be a spot where I will remember I
was driving in a car and my wife said to

(02:10):
me that President Trump was shot as he was giving
a campaign speech in Pennsylvania. And I'll always remember that
that spot forty eight hours later. Whether I align politically
or don't align politically, I think it is a huge,
huge moment in American history and an hour history. And
I just wonder if other people share that same feeling.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Well, certainly a huge moment, especially for people again of
a younger era, who you know, you could talk about
political discord, but we've never seen a lot. Anyone under
thirty has never seen anything even resembling this in their lifetime,
and so you know, obviously he's okay. I don't know
if this is a conversation, you know, if this is

(02:52):
a moment that people will continue to talk about, is
obviously he makes a run at another election opportunity to
another presidents he I don't know whether he wins, he loses,
if this is a moment that we reflect back upon,
But obviously, in the moment one I think first and foremost,
I'm glad he's safe.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I'm glad he's okay.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You don't you shouldn't you know, your first reaction, shouldn't
be where you stand on the aisle about a candidate
or political issues when something that serious happened. So I'm
glad he's okay. I know that at least in the
moment right now. I certainly and I think I always
will remember where I was, because I'm usually obviously a
person that, because of our nature of our work, is

(03:31):
pretty active on social media and pretty aware of what's
going on. And you know, I was away with family
and basically missed it by about a half an hour.
Saw the picture, didn't think anything of it, and then
you know, a minute or two later, it registers, oh,
that didn't look normal, and then I kind of went
back did my research. So I you know, I don't
know thankful he survived, but I don't know if because

(03:53):
he survived, if that changes the conversation about that moment
going forward.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
But scary stuff. And I'm just happy.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
And I know what you're saying, and it's it's you
don't want to be insensitive about anything. But there is
a point as well where I was. I was just
young enough not to remember when there was the assassination
attempt on President Reagan at you know, in the in
the early eighties, Like I don't remember that happening. But again,
you know, the Kennedy won because it was just so blatant,

(04:24):
and I mean continues to this day of the video
and everything everything that surrounded it. But there's a point
where everyone will remember where you know, they were the
day that President Kennedy was assassinated. Of that generation, this
I don't think rises to that, but I don't. I
just the point is is we were very close, yes
to that sort of scenario of what happened. And it's

(04:47):
just with all the great stuff that happened this weekend
sports wise, with Wimbledon, with the soccer Championships, with everything
that Major League Baseball now enters, the All Star Break, which,
by the way, tomorrow night you can see on Fox
a Midsommer Classic Ale against NL. It's just the point
of I've already seen, you know, news channels are already

(05:07):
talking about the Republican National Convention this week, how it's
going to affect the election. I'm like, it's forty eight
hours old, Like this is this could have been a
seminal moment in everyone's life of remembering where they were.
I thought it was a joke at first. I just
I felt like we needed to address it off the top,
just because I think that we could all relate to

(05:27):
those moments in our lives and I just wonder if
this is going to be one of those moments. And
maybe it won't be, but we know we're going to
see that image. And you know, it took time for
other videos to come out. All news were showing were
just what we saw from when he was on that platform.
I just just such an enormous, enormous story from the weekend.
I just I want to do at least a dress
it off the top.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
And ultimately, we are you know, we are a news entity.
You know, most of the time we're talking sports, but
we also are talking sports, you know, when there are
very rare moments where there are things that are bigger
than sports. And I think to your point, I don't
know about ten years, twenty years, fifty years, if everyone
will think of this as a moment where they were,

(06:09):
but they certainly will.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
They certainly do now.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
And then you know, it obviously led to a lot
of different conversations and a lot of different directions at
everybody's dinner table and all that. You know, it was
almost I don't want to say funny but a little
bit ironic, is I kind of we were all out
to dinner celebrating my wife's birthday, and I kind of
made it a priority. Hey, let's not talk about this,
because we don't need people arguing over nuance and what

(06:34):
their opinion is about what happened. I mean, he was safe,
he was Okay, we don't need I actually kind of
tampered it down, like, let's not talk about this.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
But I was certainly a fair important to thak.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
To take politics completely out of it. There is no
doubt about it. Is one of the most recognizable names,
faces and people in the entire world because of his power.
And that's just the point of the point of it.
Yet there, you're you're completely correct. Facebook was probably a
cesspool of whatever was happening around in social media. But

(07:08):
the point is is when it rises to that level, sorry,
it's just it's a big deal, and all of us
are in that sense boat of life of having that
certain moment, and that's where we were, and that's where
it was on Saturday. That's why I don't think it'll
it'll it'll rise to the level of obviously nine to
eleven or the challenger where so many people in my
generation were at a young age and it was so

(07:29):
jarring to see. But I am just curious on are
we in a day and h now where this new
cycle just moves past something like that where it almost
feels like it's that way, or is this going to
be one that sticks with you? Where I remember at
the stoplight that I was at in my hometown back
in Wisconsin on vacation, and I thought, my wife, when
my wife said it, I thought it was a joke,
thought it was, you know, like that you know something,
because it didn't register in my mind. So I'll at

(07:50):
least remember that point well.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
And the last thing I would say is to your point,
whether it's Caitlin Clark Kopa, even the NFL quarterback rankings,
not every topic we're going to hit on today touches
negatively or positively in some way, shape or form every
person listening, but this one obviously does well.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I'm glad that you brought up these quarterback rankings because ESPN,
for the fifth straight years pulled about eighty scouts, coaches,
front office executives throughout the league and they do a
ranking of each position and today, lucky, lucky for us,
Aaron Torres. Today was the day that the quarterbacks dropped.
They've been doing this for a week. They've been doing

(08:28):
this for a but we're grabbing the headlines.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
And say, don't know if I would have had a
take on the guard rank.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Tomorrow is I think outside linebackers. I think that's what Actually,
I'll tell you the rest of it. Off ball linebackers, Okay, yeah,
and then wide receivers and then quarterbacks. Wrap it up
on the eighteenth. But the top ten quarterback through this
rankings process that you know took had dozens of interviews. Again,
about eighty voices that were heard throughout NFL ranks wad in,

(08:58):
league execs, coaches, scouts. That was the number. They concluded
that Patrick Mahomes is the top rated quarterback for the
second straight season. It was two seasons ago that Aaron
Rodgers had the number one ranking. But I'm gonna read
off the rankings to you, and I'm curious on what
strikes your ear. Number one Patrick Mahomes to Joe Burrow

(09:20):
the Bengals, Three, Josh Allen of the Bills. Lamar Jackson,
the reigning MVP of the NFL, was fourth. Matthew Stafford fifth.
Justin Herbert came in sixth in these rankings, and the
top ten in order c J. Stroud seven, Aaron Rodgers eight,
Jared Goff nine, Dak Prescott comes in at number ten.
You hear those rankings, What do you hear? What don't

(09:41):
you hear? What strikes your ear?

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Well, there's a lot of interesting things.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
I think you could, obviously, you know, argue you should
somebody like Brock Purdy Jalen Hurts potentially be on the list.
Is it too recency bias based like is CJ. Stroud
too high based off one big season? But I think
the thing that strikes me is the gap between the
number one and everybody else. Is that you look at
number one, Patrick Mahomes obviously a multiple time Super Bowl champion,

(10:06):
what is it five to six straight AFC championship games?
But after you get past him, we talk about all
these great quarterbacks in the AFC and the NFL and
all these young guys that are as contemporaries. Every single
one of these guys has a hole in their game.
Joe Burrow, the only guy to actually beat Patrick Mahomes
in a meaningful playoff game on this list, is very

(10:26):
injury prone season ending risk injury last year. We'll see
if he's back two hundred percent. Josh Allen obviously, what
is it, three out of the last four years, has
lost to Patrick Mahons in the playoffs. Lamar Jackson obviously
doesn't have that super Bowl appearance to you know, kind
of headline his resume. And then of course Justin Herbert
has struggled to even make the playoffs, and then once
he got there, obviously his team not really through his

(10:47):
own fault, but completely melted down. So I just bring
it up to say, there's a lot of stuff after
number one, but I think the fact that we can't
definitively say who is two is what's interesting to me.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
The win over Patrick Mahomes and that super Bowl appearance,
to your point, is going a long long way. I
am curious and of Josh Allen if if the Bills
would have made a Super Bowl, would there be enough
to even overtake Mahomes in that scenario, If they would
have beaten the Chiefs in the divisional playoffs this year
and went to the super Bowl, would that have been enough?

(11:19):
I don't think it is. I think I think that
the gap is significant enough to keep Mahomes at number one.
What hit my eyes and ears the most when I
saw these rankings with that after an MVP season and
a season where they were the best team in the AFC,
is that Lamar Jackson is at number four. But here's

(11:43):
the funny thing about it, Aaron is I don't know
if he should be higher and I don't know if
he should be lower because the rankings two years ago
had Lamar Jackson as honorable mention. It was last year
that he cracked the top ten in these rankings at
number seven. And now you think about it, in the
best case scenario for him outside of that Super Bowl
would be to go and win an MVP and lead
the Ravens like he did, and it only got him

(12:06):
up to fourth, you know, So, like, is that now
the ceiling of Lamar Jackson, or with Lamar Jackson, like
I feel Josh Allen would be, would be lifted by
a Super Bowl appearance. Because that leads me to the
second thing that struck my mind. Matthew Stafford being number
five and how much the narrative has changed around him
being a quarterback better than Aaron Rodgers in these rankings.

(12:27):
The Super Bowl win that he had two years ago.
I think obviously plays a huge, huge deal, But you
remember he didn't even he was injured at a point
last season where they had to have Brett Rippens start
a game for them against the Green Bay Packers in
the middle of the season. So Stafford's ability and his
abilities looked upon by others in the league have completely

(12:50):
completely gone through the roof. He didn't make the top
ten two years ago. Last year ended up making it
in the ten spot and now comes in at number
five on the list. I've never seen a ranking. I
have never heard a talk show that has had Matthew
Stafford as a top five quarterback in the National Football League,
but this one does. Among league scouts and coaches and execs.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Well.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
That was another one that stood out too, was is
he a little bit overvalue?

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Now?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
The Lamar stuff is interesting because I feel like the
narratives on Lamar they swing just too far one direction
in the other. Because I still go back to that
playoff game last year. I know you do your Sunday show.
I happened to be filling in on the Sunday of
the AFCNFC championship games, so I'm obviously not only watching
the game, like tens of millions of Americans. But I'm watching,

(13:39):
you know, pen and paper, making sure I don't miss anything.
And I still say, and I think most people would
agree that meltdown by the Ravens. I don't think it
really speaks to Lamar Jackson. I think it speaks to
Todd Munkin and the play calling in that game, you know,
I mean, the play calling was such a disaster. They
went away from the run, They went away from what
made them successful. So I don't blame Lamar for that.

(14:01):
But again, I don't know if you could put him
ahead of these other guys, you can probab put them
ahead of Josh Allen.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
I mean Josh Allen.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
You know, I feel like Josh Allen is kind of
synonymous with the Bills of the perspective of do both
the bills? But do he get too much credit considering
that there really isn't a signature win on the resume.
I mean, I know it's cliche to say at this point,
but it's true. The best win on the resume is
a close loss to the Kansas City Chiefs is having
a lead against Kansas City Chiefs with thirteen seconds Togo,

(14:29):
so I think you could argue to move Lamar Jackson
ahead of him. I don't know that you can argue
to move Joe Burrow. To move Lamar Jackson ahead of
Joe Burrow. As far as Stafford's concerned, I kind of
agree with you. But it's kind of the same thing
when I visualize in my head, you know, this guy's
the top five quarterback. That's not you know, Mahome is
gonna be there, you know Allen's gonna be there. I
think you know Jackson's gonna be there, and you know

(14:51):
Burrow's gonna be there. If we're under the assumption that
these injuries are kind of a season by season thing
rather than a recurring you just can't rely on him.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Thing, Yeah and so five.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
But then it becomes the same conversation, Well, what's Justin
Herbert's signature win? You know what? You know, He's had them,
but not in the at the highest levels. And I
think Justin Herbert's is an interesting spot this year with
the new coaching staff where it's kind of put up
or shut up time for him.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
CJ. Stroud? Are we are we two? Are we over
hyping him.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Too much based off last year than Aaron Rodgers the opposite,
because he's been out of sight, out of mind. I
know he wasn't great that last year in Green Bay,
but are we underrating him because we really haven't seen
him in basically two years.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
So I know I threw a lot right back at
you did. I didn't mean to go along.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
No, that's okay. I actually am glad that you're sitting
next to me because you answered the question that I
had five minutes ago that I wasn't sure on what
to think of the Lamar Jackson ranking. So do you
think it's garbage? Okay? Should be higher? Okay, you're exactly right,
like when you when you lay it out the way
that you did in terms of Josh Allen and what
he's accomplished. Also, I'm sorry we take MVP awards and

(15:59):
we used that throughout the year. I did a pyramid
ranking a couple of years ago because I thought the
whole process was a sham, and while it was somewhat
mocking what people do with the MVP, it laid out
and how you actually should look at an MVP throughout
the season, and the MVP when the season I did
it was Aaron Rodgers, and he did win the MVP
that season. Throughout the season, it showed it. Lamar Jackson

(16:22):
as one and now two MVPs. And to your point
of leading a team to victory, Yeah, I think that
the executives are still under selling Lamar Jackson, considering again,
he didn't make the list two years ago, he was
seventh last year. Now you lead everything up to it
and you bring up the AFC Championship game, were they
almost actually did come.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Back after all that.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you Aaron Torres for like Lamar
Jackson is getting short changed in this, Stafford's getting And honestly,
I don't mind Stafford getting the love that he's gotten
because he's gotten a lot of crap throughout his career
and if scouts and league execs see it, awesome for him.
I think that people are really hot on the CJ.

(17:07):
Stroud thing. I think that made me a bit of
an overreaction, But it looks. Look at how quickly it
turns that we don't have we don't have Tua, we
don't have Jalen Hurts in these rankings. Jalen Hurts was
in the rankings last year. How you can have Rogers
still at eight coming off of an Achilles when he's,
you know, forty years old, Like there's it doesn't make
a lot of sense, but you answer the question at
least to the Lamar Jackson underrated.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
There you go two time VPR right now, and I
think there is something to it. And the last thing
I would say is with Josh Allen. You know, I
mentioned I feel like with Justin Herbert and not that
this is like some crazy strong opinion, but kind of
put up for shut up time. You got your coach.
They've clearly invested in the O line. The skill is
all that stuff, it's put up for shut up time.
I feel like we're I feel like we're a step

(17:52):
past that with Josh Allen, where it's like now until
you prove it to me, I'm gonna kind of assume
that you're not gonna And it's not all he's another one.
It's not all his fault, you know whatever. There's a
million things Sean McDermott, is he the right guy, defensive
head coach, you know, the run game, whatever. But I
just bring it up because Lamar Jackson, to me, has

(18:14):
proven it.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
I don't know, I just feel like Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Has proven it. To a degree where if this was
Aaron Torres's rankings as opposed to GMS, I would definitely
have Lamar Jackson above Josh Allen, and without taking too
much recency bias into effect, I'd probably have Lamar Jackson
frankly at number two, because I just don't know if
at this point Joe Burrow I can fully expect to
consistently make it through seventeen game seasons.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Josh Allen as a runner for the Bills was magnificent
fifteen touchdowns on the ground last year, But I'm not
worried about touchdowns until your point, like when we're looking
at these guys and where they operate and what they've achieved,
like to that aspect of it, Yeah, this is if
this is taking away all achievements and taking away everything else,

(19:01):
maybe there's an argument that that can be made, but
I think that you have to put that sort of
sort of stuff into the conversation. And Dak Prescott being
at number ten.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
That was that was another one. Yep, I'm just not
a Dak guy. I just I'm just I'm over it.
I'm just totally over it.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
But it's also the point of ten isn't as great
as you would think it would like. I mean, because
now you're like top You're bordering top third of the
league in a thirty two team league like that. So
that's so that's so that's where you are at least,
so that's how the rest of the league feels and feels.
Someone like Rogers off the Achilles or a Jared Goff
who got the new huge deal to stay in Detroit

(19:36):
are better options than Dak.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
Really quick? One answer you if if this was Dan
Byer's list, Brock Perty or Dak Prescott Dak? Okay, what
about Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Dak throws the I don't know if Dak can win
the big game, but there I have zero questions about
him throwing the football around in doing what he needs
to do. I would take Dak ten out of ten
times over Brock Party if you did not talk about
their supporting casts ten out of ten times supporting cast

(20:11):
take it out of the way. I'm taking Dak over
Brock Party ten out of ten times.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
What about Jalen Hurts?

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Uh? Yeah, see, because I think Jalen Hurts is underrated
and his real test actually will be no Jason Kelsey Right, Yeah,
I think that's that's a big part of it this year.
I can't believe they gave a J Brown more now
you're you. He wants the football so much that I
think it becomes a detriment to everything else that you're
doing and puts more pressure on him. I'm curious to

(20:39):
see how Hurts response, but I would take I would
take Dak probably over Hurts. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
I think there's two or three guys in the honorable mentions.
You could definitely make a strong argument for over Dak.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
He is not a Dak fan. I am more so.
But thank you for at least solving the riddle of
Lamar Jackson, who we can now say once again underrated
as an NFL quarterback. He's erin Toaires. I'm Dan Byer.
Hit him up at Aaron Underscore Tours. You can find
me at Dan Byer on Fox. Coming up next on

(21:36):
the air on the air with US right now FS
one and FSR. NBA insider and analyst Rickpuker joins the program,
as he does every Monday. Hello, Rick, how are you?

Speaker 7 (21:46):
I'm good, gentlemen, how are we doing good?

Speaker 2 (21:49):
And I'll tell you what. There was some news in
the NBA over the last week that just just feel
good news, and it is if you're a Knicks fan.
Jalen Brunson gets his new deal. Whatever the money is
on the surface, the fact is it sure feels that
Jalen Brunson is taking less for the good of the team.
What do you think about Jalen Brunson's new deal that
has him staying in New York on the long term.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
I think it says two things. One, NBA players are
now getting paid more money than they know what to
do with. And as we go forward, knowing the TV deal.
I mean, look, he is in a sense making a
sacrifice because it is sure that they're able to keep
all the Villanova guys together, and it gives them some

(22:32):
flex and some short term flexibility in terms of what
they're doing. But it's not as if one that he's
going to miss out on that money short of having
a career ending injury, and career ending injuries just don't
seem to be part of the equation anymore. When you
have a Klay Thompson who comes back from a ruptured
achilles and a torn acl and still comes back in

(22:54):
plays and signs yet another contract after the fact, even
if it wasn't what he affected, that just doesn't happen.
So and meanwhile, it's such a good will gesture in
a place like New York that has been starving for
a guy that doesn't seem to just be there to

(23:16):
make money off of New York, but instead to bring
a championship there. It checks a lot of boxes, and
it brings a lot of uh assets that aren't necessary
necessarily monetary, but can can easily translate into monetary revenue.
So look, I don't want to take any thing away

(23:38):
from the goodwill gesture or the gesture or the idea
that that Jalen Brunson is doing what needs to be
done to build a great team and being and having
the awareness that for him to become a champion, he's
going to need a great team. It's not like he's
Lebron James or Michael Jordan or some individually spectacular physical

(23:59):
freak of a play. But that awareness is what made
Jalen Brunson who he is. And I can do nothing
but applauded Rick.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
You know, obviously Team USA played its second game today
in Abudakah. Well I was gonna ask you, I you know,
obviously didn't get a chance to watch this one as closely.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
But the first game it.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Felt like, hey, we got the older guys in the
starting lineup, it's feel good, first time Lebron and Steph
are playing together, all that, But the team really kind
of took off and really separated themselves in that game
when Anthony Edwards and Jason Tatum came off the bench,
which just curious if you've heard anything about dynamics on
that team, and that's not necessarily a negative thing, but

(24:39):
just the dynamics with Lebron and Steph are still the
biggest brands, if you will, in the NBA, but it's
probably Anthony Edwards and Jason Tatum, who are the players
you know, at their peak of the powers right now.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Yeah, there's no question that this feels like a farewell
tour and a gesture to Steph and Lebron terms of
where they are in their careers and having them as
starters and uh, and yes they're still the headliners when
it comes to this team. But uh, this is the
concern that I have in terms of Team USA making

(25:15):
good on its uh being the prohibitive favorite to to
win the Gold, which is, uh, there's a lot of
old players on this team, and and Lebron and and
Steph in particular today uh did not look good at all.
Uh So Uh and it's not just Jason and Jason
and and and Anthony Edwards. I I Anthony Edwards still

(25:38):
is a phenomenal talent who doesn't really know what he's doing.
He's doing out there, which is amazing that he gets
done when he gets done when he's but but you're
asking him to orchestrate or be you look kind of
the floor general of your team. It's that's he's not.
He's not ready for that yet. And that's where I
was all for starting Lebron in particular, because I thought,

(26:01):
you know, this team's a little short on playmakers. It's
it's Lebron, who is without question a great passer and playmaker,
and and Tyreese Halliburton and after that those guys who
can pass, but they're not they're not guys who are
are uniquely talented in creating shots for everybody. And you

(26:22):
need that orchestration when you're putting together a team on
such short notice and it has such such a wealth
of talent, all of guys, all all these guys that
used to having the ball in their hands. So what
you really need is that one guy who says, Okay,
I'm going to get it. You're going to get the ball.
I'm going to get the ball to you, and I'm
going to get the ball to you in the places
that you want and and where you're comfortable and when

(26:44):
you're hot, and and we're gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna
make sure everybody's getting theirs. And the way Lebron look today,
I don't it concerns me. It just you couldn't get
anything done and other than he was shooting for me
and that's not the ideal role that I want for him.
They have plenty of shooters on this team, so that

(27:07):
that is my That is my concern about this team
is if they play a team that's going to play
with pace, and even though guys aren't playing heavy minutes,
there's times where the game is going to be really
fast and you got to you got to react and
rotate quickly, and the lack of familiarity and everything else
that can put a team USA at a disadvantage. The

(27:28):
talent is like they won today's game just because the
individual talent is crazy. But as far as how the
two teams played, Australia actually played a more appealing team
like game. And if you go to Spain or France
and those teams with their talent and they're playing that

(27:50):
type of game, that's where I think we're going to
be challenged.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Rick Buker joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. He's
her in Tores, I'm Dan Byer in for Doug Gottlieb.
Are we making too much of a deal?

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Well?

Speaker 2 (28:00):
And now Jason Tatum responded to the absence of Jalen
Brown on Team USA because it wasn't a glowing endorsement
of why Brown should be on the team. I mean
even mentioned that, yeah, there are a lot of guys
that could be on the team. Are we reading too
much into that or is there is there still something
there between the two players in Boston?

Speaker 7 (28:18):
I am I'm not going to read without knowing per se.
Like I think the most dangerous thing and I've been
guilty of myself as anytime we put something out on
social media, or we only get a snippet of what
somebody has said, or even when they answer and soll
to a question, a lot of times it can be
it can it can be affected by how the question

(28:40):
is asked or what question is asked. So I'm I'm
not here to suggest that, yeah, you know what, in
spite of winning a championship, it's time to break up
Tatum and Brown again. I'm not going to go there,
but I do think that there is like everybody feels
that that that Jalen Brown got snubbed, and it's he

(29:01):
didn't get snobbed. I mean, if there was a time
where there was a complaint, it would have been that
he wasn't part of the original selection of players, and
he wasn't. But at this point when you're when you're
adding a piece, then Derek White just makes a whole
lot more sense because he's a complimentary player. And I

(29:21):
also look at them, how this team's composed, and what
was Jalen Brown? I mean, why was he Finals MVP?
Why was he why was he considered arguably their best
player in the playoffs? Is because he's kind of their
go to guy. Yes, he played some great defense, but
it was really that he made big shots. Well, you

(29:43):
got Steph Curry, you got Anthony Edwards, you got Kevin Durant,
you got Joe l Embiid in certain situations, like you
got to have so many guys that are going to
fill that role ahead of him. Is Jalen Brown gonna
be happy as a Finals MVP and a reigning champion
if he's not getting those shots, or if he's asked

(30:04):
just to play defense. I think that that was the
bigger concern. It's what I was just talking about previously,
like we can no longer pick our teams based on
a glorified all star team.

Speaker 8 (30:17):
The pieces have.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
To work together, the pieces, and I'll be interested to see,
like finding our way to getting these pieces to work together.
But for what Jalen Brown is is I look at
him as an NBA player, and I look at Derek
White as a basketball player, and I saw both of

(30:39):
these guys back in twenty nineteen with the national team
in the World Cup, and the international game is just different.
And I think that Derek White and his ability to
play any role you need him to play, is actually
more at advantageous than Jalen Brown be needing to be

(31:01):
sort of the centerpiece in order for him to be
at his best.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
I'll also just add this is his teammate in Boston,
was his replacement.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
That's what I was going to say that if you
go too hard in Jalen Brown's favor, it's gonna look
at it like.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:16):
And here's the truth.

Speaker 7 (31:17):
Like I remember having this conversation in the midst of
the playoffs in the finals, it was like Derek White
was in the mix of MVP conversations even and I
believe even in the Eastern Conference finals, like there were
times where Derek White looked like their best or most
impactful players. So it's not as if like it's not

(31:40):
as if they picked the scrub. It's not as if
they picked somebody who's never performed with the national team
before or or wasn't getting kudos. It really is, I
would say in in In one way, it's almost a compliment.
It's like, Jalen, you're almost a little too good for
the way this team is composed. We can't use you
the way you would be best used. And then the

(32:04):
other part is simply this isn't about who the best
players are, It's about the best fit. How do we
get the twelve players who fit the best either as
opposed to the twelve players who are simply the best.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Rick last one for me obviously, Summer League underway. Know
that you know a lot of players are already being pulled,
but what is the Is there any early buzz out
of Vegas?

Speaker 4 (32:30):
And if so, what what is it?

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Well?

Speaker 7 (32:32):
I think probably Reed Shepherd being the like the most
impressive player that anybody has seen, and questions about what
Atlanta was doing because they're they're number one pick. I
believe it's I hope I'm pronouncing this correct.

Speaker 8 (32:50):
Resa che Yes, work is.

Speaker 7 (32:54):
Is hasn't shown a whole lot And this is what
comes with being the number one pick Summer League in
the big picture doesn't really mean a whole lot. But
when you're the number one pick, you come in and
people expect you to be arguably the best player, even
if that's not why you were picked, and that that

(33:18):
pressure and that expectation is only going to ratchet up
as we go forward. It goes without saying like people
are going to compare statistics and they're going to compare
like who's doing what, and it doesn't matter what teams
they're with or the role and all of that has
an effect on their numbers. That's how people view it,
and and the players hear it and they feel that pressure.

(33:40):
And so no one expected that this was going to
be a draft, a great draft, that we're going to
get a lot of franchise players or maybe any franchise
players out of it. And it's living up to that
billing at this point. But the kid plowed and with
Golden State has has demonstrated that he he might be

(34:02):
able to contribute. Shepherd to me has been without question,
the most impressive impressive player to this point. And then
we have the whole. We have the whole Bronnie James saga,
which is just I don't know about you, guys, it's
tough for me to watch. It's tough for me to
watch a kid and hear all of the talk of

(34:27):
like trying to pump him up, like what hey, it
was really athletic on that play, and and it's and
it's like what are we what are we doing here?
It's the one place where it didn't matter who you knew,
or what your name was, or what school you went to,
or where you came from, or what what your nationality was.

(34:47):
It was you got on the floor. If you could play,
you got on the floor. If you could contribute in
some way or so they saw something, A team saw
something in new that they said, this guy can give
us this. And I have yet to see that from
Ronnie James. I don't know what he gives. You all

(35:08):
to talk about what a great defensive player he's going
to be. I'm seeing him getting torched on a regular
basis and knowing, not always knowing where he's supposed to be,
not always playing with energy, And for most second round picks,
fifty fifth picks, you could never ever, ever, ever ever
afford any of that and expect to still be to

(35:33):
still be playing. I think if Fred van Vliet undrafted
four years at Wichita State, built himself into a player.
He got invited to the Toronto Raptors Summer League team
and he was only guaranteed three games, three games after
the four year career he had, and he ended up
playing well enough that they gave him five games. And

(35:55):
then they invited him to camp, and they had six
undrafted free agents camp for one spot, and he earned
that spot. And he still spent half the year in
the G League and he won a G League championship,
and then he came back and he was still a
role player. This is another year into his NBA career.

Speaker 8 (36:16):
That's and he's six, He's he's Bronnie games, and every
step of the way he had to earn just to
get He had to spend essentially four years to get.

Speaker 7 (36:30):
Where Ronnie James got immediately or in one and without
having done half or or a tenth of what bred
Vansleet did. And that's where I just look at it
and I go, this just this feels it just feels wrong.
It violates something that I always felt was for all

(36:50):
the politics, for all the things that happened in the NBA,
that that jaundice you when it comes to the game
and the purity of the game. The purity of the
game always was, Man, you're not on the floor unless
you can play. Yep, Andre, this is not that well.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
We always bring Rick Buker on because he does bring
it every day. Every time he comes on, Rick, we
appreciate it. We know it's come down. Not a little
downtime in the NBA when Summer League goes away, rest up.
But the Olympics will carry us for the next couple
of weeks.

Speaker 7 (37:21):
Dan, I'm sitting in a gym right now with my
daughter to my right. I'm her designated rebounder. We're getting
the work in all right.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
It is it is.

Speaker 7 (37:29):
It is not downtime for the kid. I'm probably more
sore now during the off season than i am during
the regular season.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
There is no off season.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
That's Belichick.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Appreciate it, man, We'll talk to you later.

Speaker 5 (37:40):

Happy Monday to you. The All Star break is here.

(38:12):
way tire buying should be. Training camps in the NFL
will be getting underway within the next week or so.
SEC media days going on, but with no baseball, with
soccer done and now with the All Star break here
the no baseball portion of it, it truly does feel
like summer. But again, Aaron, it's only going to last
for about four days and then I feel like we

(38:33):
transition a fall because we'll be coming off of those
SEC media days. As I mentioned, the NFL training camps
players will start reporting as soon as next week. Like
the summer, while it may feel like it just began,
also feels like it's about to end, as we're getting
into a busy, busy time of year. But a little
lull in the action right now.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
I don't know if it's because we work in sports,
and i'd be curious for your perspective. I feel like
once the football stuff starts even though the season itself
doesn't start till Labor Day for college football a week
later for the NFL. I kind of feel like, this
is the summer is over now. I'll still I still
have one other get little getaway, and it's.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
Not over over.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
But it's like when I when I see those pads,
like I feel like, you know, the uh, the smell
of the ground, like it's just it kind of feels
like it's over for us.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
And the crazy thing Caleb Williams still not under contract, Like,
how does this not happen? How does he not just
sign up? I didn't even know the ill and uh,
and like that would have been the easiest contract to do, right,
I mean you would think so.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
But well, he suppose he doesn't have an agent for
that exact reason, right, because there's a rookie pay scale
that he knows that you know what the contract is,
so he's like, why would I hire an agent?

Speaker 2 (39:39):
So, uh, football on the horizon. But still there's some
summer left. I do also as well have some other
summer plans. But yeah, five first round picks yet to
be signed. Roma Dunze also with the Bears signed. JJ
McCarthy hasn't signed with the Vikings, Dallas Turner, and then
Amarius Mims of the BEng The five players first round

(40:03):
picks yet to sign their rookie deals. If you're a
Bears fan, you probably hate it, which allows us to
transition to our favorite Monday segment at this time, a
little bit of love and hate from the weekend.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
What did you love?

Speaker 4 (40:15):
God, I love you and what did you hate?

Speaker 2 (40:19):
These player Hayes. This is where we bring in Jason Stewart,
Papa Bear, Ryan McMain, and Kevin Wyert to hang out
with Aaron Torres and I and talk about the weekend
that was, the things we love, the things we hated.
Our executive producer is Jason Stewart, who came up with
this idea. Jason, you get to start things off what

(40:39):
you love about this past weekend.

Speaker 9 (40:42):
Hey guys, Hey Jason, Can I start with Kaitlyn Clark?

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (40:47):
So Dan just said it was no big deal last hour,
So I guess that's what I will take issue with.
I like the fact that she went into this whatever
the Minnesota team's name is and put it in the
face of the Minnesota whigs head coach, who also is
in charge of the I guess she's the head coach
of the Olympic team. And she actually said this prior

(41:10):
to the game. On the expected pro fever crowd at
the Links game, she says, I don't give two s
hs about that. So she had she had a real
big attitude about it. Then she was asked about the
future of national the national team, and she says, why
the hell would I answer a national team question. I'm
not even in charge of the roster. So she's got

(41:32):
a road chip on her shoulder and I automatically can't
stand her. So Kaitlyn Clark winning the game, and she'd
had a couple of Kaitlyn Clark moments. I love those
moments where she just hits like logo three and looks
at the crowd or looks at the other bench. That's
the Kaitlyn Clark that I fell in love with. That's
the trans what is it, trans send it uh, Caitlin

(41:55):
Clark that I want to see more often. I loved
that game.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Again, they play all home games because everybody cheers for
that was the thing. I didn't think it was as
huge of a deal because you had it as close.
That can maybe be my hates moving on.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Real quick, Diana Torroz a little bit banged up. It's
not out of the rum of possibility that the Olympics
might have a spot. If I was miss who went,
Miss Thang, whoever is in charge of, you know, the
Minnesota Lynx over there, I might check my ego at
the door a little about Kaitlin Clark because she might
be the twelfth young lady on your bench here going forward.

Speaker 9 (42:29):
So just you know, could you imagine if that wimpic
team doesn't choose Caitlin Clark after this whole thing, and
they just go to some no name because she's better
defense or something.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
They needed that they needed that lockdown defender. Aaron Torres,
what did you love from this past weekend?

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Well, he touched on in an hour one of the
Doug Gottliebs Show. I guess I'm a copa guy now.
I just I loved everything about the tournament. I know
the tournament extended well beyond this weekend, but again, just
like you said, Dan, the way it fit on the
calendar kind of really ramped up post NBA Finals and
even the NBA Finals. Remember we had ten days with
no games after the conference finals, and then the finals

(43:09):
were done. Pretty quickly, so there wasn't a lot of
basketball from the start of the Conference finals. On every
single night it delivered. The crowds were amazing. Uh, you know,
maybe a little bit too much so last night, but
crowds were amazing, quality of play was amazing, and I
just enjoyed every single thing about it. Was a great tournament,

(43:30):
a great end last night after midnight, Argentina scores that
goal in extra time. I'm not even a huge soccer guy,
but it just felt like every single night that tournament
was awesome.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
All right, Kevin Wyarts, what did you.

Speaker 6 (43:45):
Love watching Charles Barkley play golf as we do every year,
like Tahoe at the American Century Championship.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Now, go ahead, keep going.

Speaker 6 (43:54):
He actually had his best finish ever at fifty eighth,
and apparently there are a lot of people who bet
on him to finish in the top seventy, so everyone
was a winner all around. Watching Charles Barkley uses beautiful
golf swing that we all love so much.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
It has gotten significantly better than the herky jerky that
you had seen before. I was going to say this
that there are certain things in the summer that make
you know it summer and the American Century Championship in
Tahoe is one of those golf fans, by the way,
really hate this event like they truly do, like the

(44:29):
people who love golf, they hate everything about it because
it is just a bunch of celebrities, usually crappy celebrities
and former athletes playing like there's a problem with it.
But I love it. You loved it for Barkley, Marty
Fish ended up winning it. I like to see the
guys who can actually play a little bit, and it
does get competitive, So Kevin, I'm right along with you.

(44:51):
That was gonna be my love for today.

Speaker 6 (44:52):
It matches the vibe because I'm not a huge golfer,
but I just like to go out, be outside and
hit the ball around. And that's what that tournament seems
more about. Is this people having a good time. It's
not the button up affair that you see in all
these major golf tournaments. So that's why I had a
lot of fun watching it. Plus saying Barkley out there,
even if his swing has improved, is very amusing.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
Sure there's a scoring system as well that is different.
Instead of under par, you give points, kind of like
the Stableford scoring system. I don't think it's exactly that,
but it at least yeah, it's hey a par Is,
good a par Is. Good news with that, so I
will piggyback off of yours. That was gonna be my
Scottish open is great. Robert McIntyre kind of got a
questionable drop on sixteen while I'm the Eagle to end

(45:34):
up allowing him to set up for his birdie on
eighteen to win it. But for the golf this weekend,
I'm with it. Ryan Aambert, what did you love from
this weekend?

Speaker 10 (45:44):
Well, this is not sports related, but Jason gave me permission,
so I'm gonna go with this. As you know, I'm
a huge nerd. You are always calling me a nerd,
and that's fine. I had no problem with that. I
love my TV shows and I love this show. House
of the Dragon in the latest episode was great.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Hooked in.

Speaker 10 (46:01):
I know it's sci fi dragons, it's very nerdy, but
it has everything I want, violence, betrayal, It's one of
the very few shows that everyone on the show is
just a horrible person.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
I will say this fit you very well, right.

Speaker 10 (46:12):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
I will say this number one. Ryan is the one
who calls himself a nerd. I said, there is no
such thing. Number two. I also watched The House of
the Dragon, but because of my vacation plans, I have
not seen the last two episodes, so did not see
last night, so I ask for no spoilers. But it's okay.
Every time he starts to talk about anything, he says
it's nerd talk. And the only time that I'll call

(46:35):
you a nerd is if someone says that it isn't
just for the joke of it. I got a mini
helmet to add to my NFL mini helmet collection this weekend,
and I'm thinking about doing a full reveal on social media,
a full reveal of it. Okay, yeah, I would absolutely
love to do that. Good Are you locked in the

(46:55):
love and hate? Torres love and hate? I am locked in.
I don't know if you are, Like I mean, this
is our staple here on Monday, like this is where
we are.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
I'm actually really pondering my hate because I haven't really
totally settled on anything yet.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
But anyway, all right, keep.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Going, all right, there are loves for the weekend. It's
time for something by the way, okay, or second to last?
All right? Yeah, I'm going to start off, I hate
that I don't have a PS five because the EA
Sports College Football game is out if you pre ordered it,
and it is the buzz around social media right now,

(47:33):
and I feel completely left out. My freshman year in college,
which was almost thirty years ago, I kid you not
when I say we had about twelve to fourteen guys
on the floor all in one college football EA Sports
League on Sega Genesis, where we had our buddies leave

(47:54):
their dorm room unlocked so someone could play their game,
because everybody had to play their game before you could
advance the week. And so now here we are, thirty
years later with this magnificent technology. This more than a
decade wait for this game to come out, and I
don't have the system to be able to play the game,
and I just I'm at an age where I don't

(48:16):
know if I should purchase it or not. I would
probably buy the golf game as well, and maybe the
NHL game, And I'm like, well, maybe my kid could
get into it at some times, but do I want
him to have a video game system that he can
play right now? He's only three, so he's not going
to be playing it. But I just feel I have
this huge, huge piece of fomo right now for everybody

(48:39):
talking about the college football game from EA Sports that
will be fully released later this week, but people are
getting their heads up on it today really quickly.

Speaker 3 (48:46):
This isn't my hate, but I was thinking. I was
even going to ask you today, like are we talking
about the game? And I will say my thought process
is very.

Speaker 4 (48:55):
Similar to yours.

Speaker 3 (48:56):
I know I will get addicted to it and my
life will crumble around me, and the things that I
need to get done to keep a roof over my
head will not get done because I'll be playing so much.

Speaker 9 (49:05):
Allow me, allow me to talk you into this, Dan,
Let me give you one one thing that might sell
you on this. I have I think you're thinking about
cutting the cord. If I'm not mistaken, Mat thought it.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
Yes, I half I have thought about it.

Speaker 9 (49:16):
The PS five is the transition from your cable or
satellite because you all the apps, all the streaming apps,
including your YouTube TV with live TV is on the
PS five and you have a controller. It's it's the functionality,
it's the best functionality just to do the cut the cord.
So I would say the PS five would would be

(49:38):
for the video game for sure, but I think it
would also work in your transition away from your cable.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
And I know I'm a little older than Aaron. Jason
and I are similar in age, and I think we're
a little older than Kevin and Ryan are. I just
I grew up on TV. It is so difficult for
me to actually cut that cord. I feel like your
guys generation has an easier time, and Jason being able
to do it actually now makes me think, well, if

(50:04):
he could do it, because I consider you my generation, Jason,
that I actually can do this.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
You won't miss it at all, really, because I haven't
cut the cordia for that reason. I just for the
sports element of it. I like flipping around, but flipping Cheryls.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Honestly, I feel like I could get every sport that
I need, but I want to make sure that I
have my golf and my golf that I that I
that I need, and I think I can get that
through Peacock. So I don't know. It's something to think about.
But of course I also have to run up by
the wife. All Right, there was my hate the EA
sports fomo. I came up with one. Okay, if you're ready.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Okay, So Friday Night Summer League began. First of all,
I hate that the narrative became Bronnie James sold out
some league.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
No he didn't.

Speaker 3 (50:46):
The first day always sells out, especially when the Lakers play.
And by the way, they played up the street in
San Francisco, and there were like two hundred people in
those games, So that is part of what I hate.
But what I really hate is that the Houston Rockets
played the Los Angeles Clippers in those games and the
number three overall pick or number.

Speaker 4 (51:08):
Four of Reech Shepherd, well, he was the first American player.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
Yeah, he was the first player he played and he
was awesome, which is great. That's what you want to
see from the number three overall pick. To the point
that people were like, just shut him down. Now he's
already shown everything he needs to do. And so it
then became this narrative. And you know, I'm a college
hoops guy of.

Speaker 11 (51:27):
Oh, Caliperi didn't start um and then he's the worst.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
I hate Caliperi. You know why Kentucky lost the opening
round of the NCAA tournament.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
It was because Reach Shepherd your savior, No pun intended,
because you know Shepherd's kind of the reason they lost
that opening round tournament game is because Reed Shepherd played
the worst game of his career three points on one
of five shooting. For comparison's sake, two games before that,
he had twenty seven points at Tennessee.

Speaker 11 (51:59):
The reason they is not Caliperry. It is because your
savior did not play well. Can we get over the
Caliperi stuff? But every time Reach Shepherd plays well from
now until the end of time, it's going to be
an indictment on how terrible Calipari's I.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
Also thought it was Gulky's ten threes like that didn't
help at all, either of them losing.

Speaker 4 (52:17):
Yeah, exactly, No, it's just it. It's a dumb narrative.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
But every time Reached Shepherd or Rob Dillingham plays well,
it's just going to be an indictment on how terrible jaht.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
B otherways, Gulky in Summer League, I think I saw him,
So okay, maybe we could track this down. Kevin Wirre,
do you have a hate from this?

Speaker 6 (52:33):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (52:33):
Yes, that one's easy for me.

Speaker 6 (52:34):
The LA Dodgers blowing two leads in the ninth inning,
and this came after a kick in the groin earlier
in the week when they got swept by the Philly's
getting outscored by double digits.

Speaker 4 (52:45):
Then they went to Detroit.

Speaker 6 (52:46):
Gonda went on Friday, like, all right, the Detroit Tiger's
there under five hundred, we can get a sweep. Go
get some positive momentum in the All Star break, had
a five run lead in the ninth inning on Saturday,
Evan Phillips blows it. They then cough up the lead
on a Sunday, and the Dodgers, instead of looking like
they were turning in the right direction bouncing back from
that horrible sweep against the Phillies, now have a lot

(53:06):
of question marks considering the fact that they basically have
an all Star lineup on the injured list.

Speaker 4 (53:12):
So the Dodgers really.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Six of their last seven, right, yes, Jason Stewart, Does
that go along your lines of hates or are you
going a different route as a Dodger fan?

Speaker 9 (53:22):
It wasn't on my list of hey, but I will
say they're they're finding new and exciting ways to lose,
which the Dodgers are not supposed to be doing because
last week goes the offense and now this is the bullpen.
So that sucks. But what I do hate is that
I made one hundred dollars bet with Doug on whether
or not he would throw a strike when he did
the first pitch at the Brewers game on Friday night. Now,

(53:44):
I've seen photos and I've seen a video. The video
is of him just pitching the ball. I have yet
to see the result of the pitch. Now, the fact
that Doug has not sent me a DM or a
message saying give me my hundred bucks probably means just
not a strike. But I need somebody out there, one
of our listeners, if you have video of where the

(54:04):
ball went. I have yet to be given confirmation whether
or not it's a ball or strike. That's right in
limbo for one hundred dollars, show no idea.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
I could see that I didn't think it was a strike.
In seeing Doug's form, I didn't think it was a strike.

Speaker 9 (54:16):
Okay, so just seeing his form, but you haven't seen
any results.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
Yeah, I thought it was I didn't think it was
a strike. But you looked a little disappointed, right, Yeah, Yeah,
that's the feeling I got.

Speaker 10 (54:28):
All right, Papa Beart, wrap up. This ten QB list
is a joke. I don't know why Joe Burrow is
number two. Talk about living off past success. Yes, you
beat Pats forhomes two years ago, but the dude is
injury prone? Why is he number two? That's laughable? Also,
Dak Prescott not that great? Why is he number ten?

(54:49):
And have we forgotten about Jordan Love?

Speaker 9 (54:52):
Hello?

Speaker 10 (54:53):
Am I missing something? That's what really ticks me off.
That's what really chaps my hide.

Speaker 2 (54:58):
It's funny that Jordan Law wasn't in the top ten,
but Stroud was up to seven. It is fact totally fair,
you know of in that point, maybe Love was eleven.
Maybe that's the point. We got a couple of Dak
haters here. I think dakkn's a bad rap, but a
little bit it.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
Does speak credence to like, first of all, I just
totally whifted on Jordan Love. It gets really pretty questionable
after about number six. By the way, did confirm Jack
Golkie is playing Summer League for the Oklahoma City

Speaker 2 (55:26):
Thund There we go perfect wraps up love and hate.
