Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, this is the Doug Gottlieb Show. Here's in
the bonus with Doug gottli.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
What up Doug Gottlieb Show. In the Bonus Fox Sports Radio,
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Welcome in. Do Do Do Do Do Do Do? So
we're gonna talk about this a little bit later on
the pod. Steven A.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Smith went on for what's seventeen straight minutes on First
Take talk about Lebron James, who went on to Pat
McAfee's podcast right for an hour and fifteen minutes. And
I think that I think that when I'm done with this,
you're gonna agree with me.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Okay, I'm gonna like in stephen A.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Smith to myself, even though I'm just gonna tell you
that I don't think, I know, I believe I was
better at I was better at my job previous to
this one in terms of people in the actual basketball
(01:10):
industry respecting.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
My opinion more than steven A.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Stephen A is the foremost talker in the sports talker world,
and so he's obviously financially successful, so he's been more successful.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Successful doesn't necessarily mean better.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
But the point is that if you let me just
kind of lay it out for you when I was
first starting out as a college basketball and I said ESPN,
I would love to point out occasionally that Syracuse and
Jim Beheim would have what I'd call legacy records. Okay,
so Syracuse wouldn't leave home a couple of years, and
(01:49):
they would play neutral site games in Madison Square Guard
now to get to Madison Square Garden from Syracuse, New York.
The Orange would in fact fly there, but they were
raucous home court advantages where they played, you know, in
the Biggist Tournament for years. It's an epicenter for so
many Syracuse a lums, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
And anytime I've questioned Syracuse, Jim Beheim, the now former
(02:12):
and of course Hall of Fame coach, who, by the way,
classmate of my mom and I consider him a friend,
would call me out publicly, even though I know that
my points that I made were valid. And look, what
I've learned is there's a lot of different ways to
coach a lot of different styles. But they were a
style which they they didn't practice a ton. They didn't
(02:36):
teach man to man defense at the end, and their
offense was very simplistic. That doesn't mean it's bad. It
just was very simplistic. They didn't teach the zone and
recruit to the zone in expert fashion, but they didn't
do skyning reports. They would make adjustments at halftime, and
it was quite effective, especially in the NCAA tournament when
(02:58):
you didn't see that type of basically a two two
to one sort of matchup zone that they ran the
last I don't know fifteen years or so that he
was the head coach there. So when I be critical
of him, I was a hater and Jim Beheim would
often call me out and point things out, and I
loved every minute of it. I didn't say the things
I said so that Jim Beheim would call me out
(03:20):
or would point it out. And this goes to anybody else,
But my point then is my point now. Whereas if
Jim Beheim really wanted me to go away and to
not matter, he would not discuss.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
What I had said. It's the same thing.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
There's a guy named Tim Doyle who he's done Big
ten Network, He's done some other stuff, and I think
now he works for cbsports dot Com.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
He called Ole Miss a fraud earlier this.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Year and Chris Beard, who at first said he hadn't
heard of him, and Chris Bear's old missus head coach.
You know, after each of these last couple, Wins has said,
where's Tim Doyle. It's help make Tim Doyle at least
somewhat known, whereas most of you I have. I said, Hey, Tim,
do like I know Tim, but I think nationally no
one knows who Tim is. Right, was a good tough
(04:11):
player at Northwestern when they were frankly terrible, and he's
hung around and stuck in the media. He has a
son who's Chicago Joe is his nickname, who's amazing.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
And I know Tim, but.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I and I do think what he said he said
for effect, and he's gotten the response that he's so
desired for the record, and I think, Jay, you can
speak to this. I've never said anything in my life
just so I would get attention. I haven't do I
naturally get attention. Sure, And I've said one reason is
I think I make good points. The other the reason
(04:45):
is I think I have the natural ability to piss
people off. But the point is that if you want
somebody who says something to go away, the best thing
you can do is act like you didn't hear it
or you don't care, it doesn't affect you, because there
are nobody Lebron James did was the opposite of that.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yes, I thought he looked insecure.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yes, I think he feels like Man, I've been sitting
quiet and taking this for years and now I want
to settle some scores because I'm the all time leading score.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
But what he did, and Jay, we'll get.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
To your opinion on it in terms of now operating
the realm of sports, talk to me what he did
now only reinvigorate stephen A. Smith to talk about it more, right,
cause if they're talking about you and you're in the
talker game, well that makes your next statement, your next
(05:36):
time you're on TV, your next time you're on radio.
Like Lebron's line of him doing a Taylor Swift tour
was hilarious, brilliant, definitely pre planned, but it was outstanding.
The problem with it is this, only we all knew
he was doing a terrorist If you pretended like I
honestly don't watch, don't care, nobody does, then it goes away. Instead,
(06:00):
now it becomes more interesting, makes sense.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Be sure to catch live editions of the Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Let's get to the Fox says and now every day
at this time in the Bonus podcast, he played for
your portion of a previous show Fox Sports Radio, Fox
Sports One. We call it what does the Fox Say?
Here's Dan Patrick talking about Lebron James interview with Pat McAfee.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Now, let me take care of sort of the ancillary stuff,
because this is what happens certainly in my line of work. Oh,
I would have asked him, Oh, if he comes on
this show, I'm gonna okay, he's not coming on your show.
He's not coming on this show. Maybe McAfee paid him.
You know, Pat has certainly done well by paying his guest,
(06:50):
and he's gotten, you know, the publicity back tenfold. But
I don't know. Lebron was in Indy. Pat's show was
in Indianapolis. I don't know if he said to him, look,
i'll give you a million dollars, come in spend an hour.
I was at a concert one time for Direct TV
justin Timberlake performed. I think they wrote him a check
(07:10):
for a million dollars, hey play for an hour. I mean,
that's really what happened yesterday. And Mac has written checks before.
Maybe he just said to Lebron, come on in, sit down,
pay you a million dollars. I don't know if he
did or didn't. But and the other people, the other
host who were saying, oh, I would have asked, this
(07:31):
is who Pat Matt McAfee is. Pat's not trying to
be Mike Wallace. He's not trying to be me. He's
not trying to be Bob Lee or Jeremy shapp or.
He's just a guy who's having a good time making
a boatload of money and a lot of headlines. That's all.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, I don't think. I mean again, I don't know
Dan would no more. I don't think he was like
why would the roun need a million dollars? I guess
or what would he I know why you'd pay it,
it's probably worth it, but why would.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
He need a million dollars?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
But there was definitely an agenda as to why he
would do it. Definitely an agenda, and I think he
came across looking like shit, Like he said Giannis would
score two hundred and fifty points, that translation there is
he has no respect for guys who played in the
NBA before Michael Jordan. That's what the translation is. That's
(08:33):
the translation is. Think about that. How we speak in
revered terms over other athletes in the past, or other
or soldiers in the past, leaders in the past, so
many things, and what Lebron did, he just he shout
on all of them. So I don't think it's a win.
(08:54):
Maybe he calculated something else, something other than what I calculated,
But I thought that that was a bad look. Here's
Jonas dockson Britty Quinn. They had this exchange about the
Vikings seemingly keeping the door open for Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
I just think the whole they're handling of this whole
thing is weird. I really do like what is the
doubt with JJ McCarthy, because it does feel like there's
something there with that that they're even this conversation is
even continuing with Rogers as opposed to hey, happy with
what we got this. It feels like they're always leaving
(09:29):
the door slightly open.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
For Kevin O'Connell. I think it's it's a decision of
like do you want to take a step back, you know,
do you want the season to potentially feel like twenty
twenty three, where you go seven to ten minutes that
missed the playoffs. I mean, this was supposed to this
past season was supposed to be a rebuilding year, and
they end up having a season where they go fourteen
and three and the last game of the season they're
(09:52):
playing for the division and then number one overall seed
in the NFC. So I think there's a collective thought
that this team and the Rock the way it's constructed,
especially with flow Brian Flores calling the defense, is one
that can compete and go into the playoffs right now.
And so there's got to be a divide in the
(10:14):
thought of, well, if you bring in Aaron Rodgers, you're
bringing in a veteran that at least have a better
idea of what he is.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Than what he's not.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
At this point with JJ McCarthy, you don't really know
anything outside of what you saw up until the injury
last year.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I definitely think there is doubt. I definitely think there
is doubt. I think there's a reasonable doubt. We haven't
seen him play an NFL game yet, so yeah, there's doubt.
On the other hand, you know they're all in on
JJ McCarthy. But anyone who's not taken an NFL snap
(11:00):
yet in a live NFL game, as opposed to somebody
who's taken steps in NFC Championship after NFC championship.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
And won a Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
You know, he's not what he used to be and
there's a lot that comes with him, but there's no
doubt on who he can on some level still be
in all the things he's seen. Those are reasonable conversations
you got to have. This is Colin Cowhert talking about
Cooper Flag.
Speaker 7 (11:24):
I think Cooper Flag is going to be their best
NBA player ever. So Grant Hill is the best Dukey
ever his first six years, five times all NBA seconds.
Jason Tatum excellent player, Kyrie Irving to me only played
eight games at Duke would be third. I think Cooper Flag.
And by the way, the NBA right now twenty four
duchies second best of Kentucky. It's a factory. And think
(11:47):
of all the guys that have come in since coach
k started. Remember he came from like Army to Duke,
had some turbulent early years. They almost got rid of him.
He stayed, built an empire, then John Shire's been a great,
great can and a choice. And I think now Grant
Hill is the best Dukie ever. And his injuries shortened
his career, but he was an unbelievable player. But he
(12:10):
entered the league at twenty two. Cooper Flagg is entering
the league at eighteen. He was seventeen when the season started,
So I think he's going to be much better early
than Jason Tatum, and I think he'll be better late
than Grant Hill. He won't be as good as Grant
was first year in the NBA. Grant was an All Star,
but I do think Cooper flag when you watch him tonight,
(12:33):
IQ shooting, passing, He's an excellent defender. He's got to
become a better ball handler in the pros, no question.
But everybody's game needs work.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
You know.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
It's funny. Who do you think is the most successful
former duke basketball player in the NBA. I'll give you
there's somebody who won NBA Championship, nineteen All Star. He's
been NBA All Second Team, NB All Third Team, he
was Rookie of the Year. He's even won the Three
(13:08):
Point Contest one year, and he's been a gold medalist
in the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
It's not Grant Hill. Who do you think it is?
Speaker 8 (13:18):
And I guess I'm stumped. Jase two, you kind of
lost me a three point contest. I thought you were
building up to like a Shane Battier or something. But
he wasn't an All Star.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
I don't know Kyrie Irving.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
Ah, we forget.
Speaker 8 (13:37):
I think Colin mentioned him up front, right, No, I.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Never heard the name Cary, never heard the name carry.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
I almost because you know, he only played eleven games
of duke or ten games of duke because he got hurt.
Speaker 8 (13:49):
So yeah, yeah, wow, he only played ten games.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Ten games?
Speaker 8 (13:57):
I thought he I swear, no man games, you.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Got hurt, you broke us toe.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Okay, I'm back plenty eNCA tournament, they lost to Arizona
in the sweet sixteen.
Speaker 8 (14:05):
Okay, yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
That's what the Fox said, I say.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Let's find out who are What's annoying? Jason Stewart.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
And now it's.
Speaker 8 (14:29):
Your annoying, Hey, Doug, you you speak head basketball coach,
So maybe you could you could ease my annoyance with
this situation.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
I can, I can translate hopefully.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
I'm hoping that this is one of the weirder soundbites
I think we've played. So you did a pretty good
job of laying out Kevin Willard's situation on the radio
show the other day. Kevin Willard is the head coach
at Maryland. He obvious is not satisfied with the amount
of money or resources put into his program. He's flirting
(15:07):
with Villaan Nova, I want to say, and he's kind
of having an open negotiation with Maryland in the middle
of a tournament that he's still participated in. And then
yesterday he had this exchange with the reporter.
Speaker 9 (15:20):
You've been very open the last week about, you know,
trying to get greater nil share revenue share.
Speaker 8 (15:27):
I'm sure he saw.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
Mike Loxley yesterday said he would prefer to keep some
of these issues in house. Why have you felt like
kind of bringing this discussion in the open has been
the best way to advocate for your program.
Speaker 10 (15:41):
Well, I mean, I'll be honest, I think our biggest
thing is we got to stop Clayton. He's really good.
He shoots the basketball going left forty eight percent. He
shoots it right going at like thirty eight percent. So really,
the last couple of days trying to come up to
the game plan to stop you know, Clayton, because I
just say, he's one of the best guards in the
(16:01):
country that we've seen. And then really, you know, obviously
trying to fix our rebounding woes had been at the
top of my mind too. So yeah, it's a big problem.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Well don't you like about that?
Speaker 2 (16:15):
The fact he didn't say He just answered, however he
wanted to answer and said he will only want to
talk about the game. He kind of it's it's it's
kind of funny, but it's super weird.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
But yeah, it's annoying. That's annoying to you.
Speaker 8 (16:31):
He didn't even preface it by saying, my focus is
on this next game, in this next player. He did.
He just went into an answer about the best player
on the next team he plays. And the question was
about how he's had this public negotiation.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
Yeah, uh, I mean again, I don't I would not
handle it the way that Kevin's handling it. I don't
think you need to. He's been around the block several
times over. Dad was an outstanding head coach or revered
head coach as well. You know, he started his coaching
career with the Boston Celtics with Brick Patino. He knows
(17:09):
how to handle himself.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
I just I get it.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
They're winning, it's awesome, and he's very likely going to
take the Villanova job. But it's also just weird and
uncomfortable how this is all being handled.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
I think, Am I wrong?
Speaker 8 (17:30):
It tells me one of two things. And maybe you
just tipped your hand. Maybe you know more than that.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
I don't know more this is we had this discussion
in my coach's office day like he's taking the Nova
job right like?
Speaker 3 (17:40):
It sure seems like it.
Speaker 8 (17:42):
Either that or the other theory is that Maryland has
given him assurances, more money for the program, and.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
I'm sure they're giveing Hi more more, more money, more assurances.
I'm sure that that's out there. But they also they
don't have an athletic director, so does he get to
pick his athletic director. I'm sure that's part of what
this power plays about.
Speaker 8 (17:59):
And so stephen A versus Lebron went well into the
night last night, and then steven A spent the first
seventeen minutes seventeen.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Minutes seventeen minutes of.
Speaker 8 (18:12):
First take today addressing Lebron Here's just a snippet of
what Stephen A said.
Speaker 11 (18:18):
I suggest that he'd be happy with the things that
I haven't brought up. I never brought up, really and
never really discussed why you were not at Kobe Bryant's
memorial service. I never really brought up, with disgust why
you did not attend Dwayne Wade's Hall of Fame induction
when that man was directly responsible for you capturing a
championship for the first time in your career.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I brought up none of that.
Speaker 11 (18:40):
I didn't bring up the fact that, even though when
people had asked, you had alluded to what had happened
tragically to your son and thank god he's okay with
his heart condition. I didn't bring up the fact that
even though you couldn't go to the Hall of Fame
induction of Dwayne Wade weeks later, weeks earlier, you were
out of the country on business. I didn't bring that up.
That's your personal business, okay. But the fact is you
(19:02):
wasn't at the Hall of Fame induction of a brother.
That's going to drastically assist to you being a Hall
of Famer because he helped you become the champion that
you were and he was a big brother to you.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
I brought up.
Speaker 11 (19:11):
None of these things, but Lebron James at the end
of the day wants to come at me and he's
walking around pouting.
Speaker 8 (19:17):
So I'm glad Stephen Ain't never brought up any of
those things. It's amazing. So I think that this this
kind of shows you where what Lebron caused. So the
main the main criticism of Lebron's interest in politics and
him weighing in and being a social injustice warrior and
(19:39):
all that is that he never fully stepped into it.
In other words, he would do these like drive by,
half assed takes on politics, and it really set him
up for criticism. You can't you can't do drive by
takes on politics.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Which is what Steven A just did with his drive
by takes.
Speaker 8 (19:54):
Well, no, no, I think, I think. I think Lebron
did a drive by entrance into talk show fodder. Like sure,
he did an hour with McPhee yesterday, but this isn't
his space, it is Stephen A's space. So if Lebron
wants to get into this space. He basically just welcomes
(20:14):
stephen A and everybody else to pile on to all
of his weaknesses.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
It's a great point. It's a really really good point,
really good point.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
The other thing is this is a lot like the
political candidate that won't take questions from the from the press,
you know, correct?
Speaker 3 (20:31):
And uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
And by the way, going back to the Kevin Woolod thing,
that that reminds me of Pete how do you say
his name? Head seth head head seth head haig seth.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Same thing.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
I don't know if you saw that where he's just
like complete denial of like, hey dude, they have actually
the text messages the what he said, so they call
it in a hoax Like now they just pretend like
it's it's a hoax.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
It's fuck crazy.
Speaker 8 (20:56):
Well that's my that's my next item. So yeah, speaking
of our what secretary of Defense? So yesterday we spent
the entire open of this podcast on the signal controversy,
and me, being a fan of political discussion, I tried
later on in the afternoon to find some kind of
(21:19):
objective viewpoint on the signal situation. I want to know
if this is a big deal or not, because if
you listen to one side of our political spectrum, they
downplay it. Nothing classified was said. Maybe some sensitive things
were said and they need to admit to that, but
nothing classified. And then on the left they're saying, this
(21:40):
is the worst breach of our national security in the
history of mankind. There's no one between. I don't know
today after trying to seek the answer if this is
a big deal or not. And that speaks to my
frustration with our news coverage. You never know what bias
you need to sift through to get the actual news.
(22:05):
And it's beyond frustrating for me, an annoying. And that
is the third piece of my you're annoying today.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Well, here's what's annoying, Okay, it's the brilliance to Trump
and why it's so diabolical. Okay, when when you claim
that everything is a lie and the media is out
to get you, then even when there is actual physical proof,
(22:33):
people still don't believe it. It's the most amazing and diabolical
thing at the exact same time.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Just so you know, it's fucking awful. It's awful.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
It's not awful because they were exact coordinates. But and
if you want the again, and they're politicians, but if
you go on social media, there are people that have served.
Everybody who's served in the military is like, you cannot
possibly do that, can't say what's happening. And there was
a hearing in which as former US soldier, it's like, like,
(23:10):
do you know what this is? These are like anti aircraft,
anti drone whatever. And if God forbid this gets out,
somebody knows the attack is coming, and they didn't know
the attack is coming. It didn't come out in real time,
So I get it. It feels like a mass overreaction
and usually the truth is.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Somewhere in the middle.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
But the.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Biggest thing I think that you and I I know
you are in a.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Search for whatever.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
The opposite of BS is, right, that's what you want
in your tombstone?
Speaker 8 (23:39):
Yeah, bullshit, the opposite of.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
We also hate hypocrisy, right, don't you? You hate when
somebody says one thing and then does the polar opposite.
That's the biggest problem here. That's the biggest problem here
is that you have Pete how do you say it again?
Head Seth hag Seth Pete Hegseth went on Fox News
(24:04):
continually and eviscerated, eviscerated Hillary Clinton okay, for allegedly scrubbing
emails about BEng Ghazi okay, which are things that had
had previously happened to whatever, and all this other stuff
about it, and said that like, these are this is
(24:24):
these are documents of national security and she should be
tried and prosecuting all this other fucking bullshit that they
do on Fox fucking News, and I mean literally made
it a thing to where you had people chanting lock
her up at political rallies and they've had the job
(24:44):
for two fucking weeks. And and a a uh uh,
a journalist was included on a on a text chain
that that gave out mill military details, military movement, military
tax secrets. Like you don't have to be that fucking
(25:05):
smart to realize this is a complete and massive fuck up.
And again, it wouldn't be probably that big a deal.
And you said this yesterday if you just like, ah, shit,
I didn't know I'm on signal it's encrypted, like ah,
fucked up. But one, you're the head, you're the head
of the Department of Defense, it's a little different. And secondly,
(25:30):
you didn't check who was on this fucking you didn't
check who was Like, don't you do that when anytime you're.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
On a group text, who's on this group text?
Speaker 8 (25:37):
Right?
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Because you don't want to send something that's in our
world something insensitive, you know, and in their world something
sensitive in terms of documents. So I get it. It's
really really frustrating. But part of it is that's the
whole thing with the right dude. You can't trust anything
in the media, even when it's right there, there's no
(25:59):
proof to it.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
No, yup. They're literally doing the what me Remember? There
was a there was a pop song was Me? Was
Me Right?
Speaker 2 (26:10):
But that was all a takeoff of Eddie Murphy and Raw.
Do you remember Eddie Murphy and Raw and the the
bit on it wasn't me? Does anybody remember this?
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Do you remember this? Jase too?
Speaker 8 (26:22):
Yeah? It was Eddie Murphy acting raw when he says
he's caught fucking his girlfriend and she's like, she's like,
I can't believe.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Caught cheating on his girlfriend, and she walks out and
he goes and he's like, what me right, despite the fact, yep,
that's what this is.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
That's what this is.
Speaker 8 (26:44):
Anything else, No, that's it. So the annoying news, stephen
A v Lebron, Lebron getting into waters he's not comfortable in.
And then the Kevin Willers situation makes no sense to me.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
M I'd say the whole Lebron, James stephen A Smith controversies.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Why are we.
Speaker 8 (27:14):
Doing this.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Because we can?
Speaker 8 (27:21):
Doug you mentioned them before, Kyrie Irving maybe the best
player to ever at least go to Duke. For a
couple of weeks, it was on what's that video game
social media thing where you watch people play video games?
Gen Z loves doing this, which Twitch, which he was
on Twitch complaining about the old heads recently.
Speaker 12 (27:43):
There are some former players that just be talking chat
shit on on like you don't even be talking about anything.
Speaker 8 (27:48):
All you do is hate on the younger players.
Speaker 12 (27:51):
And then you got young players looking up to these
older players, and we see them as I'm not gonna
call them my idol, but we looked up to them, right.
We valued their journeys, we respected their journeys, We wanted
to get.
Speaker 8 (28:03):
Close to them.
Speaker 12 (28:03):
And then when you see somebody that you respect like
that and admire, go on TV and talk about your
journey as if it's just some Oh yeah, this just happens.
Speaker 8 (28:11):
To you all the time.
Speaker 12 (28:12):
Just get over it because you make a bunch of money.
I'm so sick of that fucking excuse, bro, that you're
not allowed to feel because you make a lot of
money in the NBA and you get paid.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Good boy.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
They a boy boya boy boy boy like we played
for you because we can, by the way, yeah, I
mean he's mad at former NBA players saying need to
get over stuff. How do you think they feel about
Lebron saying that Giannis has scored two hundred and fifty points.
No one does drama like the NBA. Why do we
(28:48):
play for you because we can't. That's it for the
