Speaker 1 (00:00):
The results are in a survey of INK five thousand
companies shows the top barriers to growth. It's taking finance
too long to close the books, so slow to launch
new products. We need to hire good people and keep them.
Too many disconnected systems. I can't see what's happening in
my business. Sounds like they've outgrown their business and financial
management systems. Quick books and spreadsheets worked fine at the start,
(00:22):
but now it takes twice the effort to get things
done and you can't get accurate answers. You should know
the number one system for growing companies, net Suite from Oracle.
Net Suite is the one system that tracks and manages revenue,
cash flow, hr, inventory projects, even e commerce for every industry.
Now you can run your business from a dashboard on
(00:44):
your phone. That's why thousands of companies use NetSuite. It's
the only system you need to run your business. Go

One Up America, Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio, Drew
Bledsoe four time Pro bowler, Super Bowl champion joins us
in about twenty minutes. Uh, we'll find out what he
thinks of what's really going on in New England. Eric
Mangini another former Patriot assistant coach. He'll be our guest.
(01:27):
Course former head coach of Cleveland Browns of the New
York Jets, is a Fox Sports one nflist analyst. He'll
join us in an hour. We'll get ready for all
four of the postseason games. R J. Bell will join us,
Adam Archiltto will join us. Man, do we have a
jam pack show with a ton of people who know
what they're talking about? Like, Look, I have opinions, and
some of those opinions are based upon what I see
(01:49):
and what I think, and some of it is based
upon people I know who I talk with or text
with or tibbets with when I go to sporting events,
and they kind of shape my opinion because of their
depth of knowledge within other sports to which I didn't play,
Like I played football growing up and not football college
of pro. So there are things which I just I
think I know and I get some confirmation or an affirmation,
(02:12):
or maybe I get the opposite when I talk with
some of my friends in the league. We'll get to
the NFL and uh, these people Drew Bledsoe, Eric Mangini,
Adam Archialletta. Do those guys are Um, it's the word
I'm looking for. Maven's, mavens of their sport, really good stuff.
I want to start with the NBA, though, because last
(02:32):
night the Cleveland Cavaliers lost by it was it thirty
four points. Look, Lorenzo Brown, good story, good story, straight
out of the G League scored twenty five points. It's
pretty awesome. Fred VanVleet, rember Fred VanVleet, from which toa
State made it in the NBA backup point guard with
(02:52):
the Toronto Raptors. Raptors don't have Kyle Lowry last night
he's unavailable. So you're playing your backup, your third string
or maybe even four string point guard when you're the
when you're the Raptors. Van Bleeed had twenty two, Lorenzo
Brown had Yeah, there was no defense to be had.
(03:14):
And the rankings. Once you get thirty forty fift games
into an NBA season and here we are about what
is it? Uh, we're about games in the NBA season.
Once she fort games in. Once you get halfway through
an NBA season, I don't love I don't love it
when you can cherry pick a stat or two from
(03:35):
the first ten games, small sample size. Once we get
halfway through the season, we got large enough sample size.
The Calves are twenty nine in defensive efficiency, and last
night it looked worst. It actually looked below their level
of average in their averages twenty nine. Here was Tyron
Lou after the game. We gotta be better, we know that.
(03:59):
But on sain we played better defensively. You know, I
think offensively of sharing a basketball, I think everyone on
the same page, and there's goss have agendas. We gotta
get rid of our agenda. Doesn't play it right away?
What do you mean by that? That's what I said.
Do you think they do? I don't know. Sharing the basketball.
Couldn't be happy with Isaiah Thomas's performance two of fifteen.
(04:22):
Couldn't be happy with j R. Smith's performance oh of five.
That's his starting backcourt. Lebron stats were good, but he
has told us before the hell with plus minus. He
was a minus twenty two. It's about wins and losses.
They got blown out. So let's start with the Isaiah
Thomas thing which I do think eventually should make the
Calves better, at least offensively than they are now. Um
(04:46):
I'm I've often been a big proponent of this. Right,
I may have opinions, but no one knows more about
their leagues than their leagues and their players. And the
perfect example of that is what were the Calves? What
do the Calves get back for Kyrie Irving? Right, Isaiah
Thomas have a twenty nine points a game a game
(05:08):
last year, and so one would think one star point
guard for for another straight up, that's a fair trade,
especially if Isaiah Thomas is a max contract guy the
way that some believed he should be a max contract guy.
Whenever that was brought up last year, I told you, like,
don't see it, and like, look at the points that
he's averaging. He's the second in the NBA and fourth
(05:31):
quarter scoring. But a lot of that is the environment
and the personnel that he played with last year. They
would play him with four defensive oriented players so that
he had to score, and also they could cover for
what he didn't do, which is compete defensively. He's small,
but he also plays small, so that Lee did you
(05:54):
believe it's all on him. No, no no, no, it's not
all on him. When you combine the fact that you
have a diminutive point guard who doesn't really guard anybody
and isn't really a point guard getting everybody else involved.
When you combine that with the fact that they moved
Kevin Love to center in order to spread the floor
out and get Kevin Loved more jump shots, you have
no rim protection. And the two most important spots defensively
(06:16):
are the point of attack point guard and the rim,
and they're terrible at both. Terrible. There is no other
way to explain the fact that the Toronto Raptors. Toronto
Raptors scored a hundred and thirty three points against right.
Did they shoot well from three shure eighteen of forty two,
(06:38):
But more than anything, they got to the rim time
and time again. It was a layup drill. I felt
like checking out. I think Drake Drake, of course, remember
he was in layup lines to Kentucky. I'm surprised Drake
didn't hop into layup lines, put a jersey on and
pretend to play um. But what it says to me
(06:59):
is what the league has told you. The value of
Isaiah Thomas as opposed to the value of Kyrie Irving
is very very simple. When they were traded for one another,
it wasn't a straight up trade, right. It was actually
a three for one with a first round draft pick
unprotected from the Brooklyn Nets going the way of the
(07:21):
Cleveland Cavaliers. If they were if they were contemporaries, if
they were in anywhere in the same solar system as
one another, then the trade would have been, if not
one for one, close to one for one, but it wasn't. Now,
some of it is how much money he makes, but
a lot of it is how the league values him.
And while you may look at stats and like look
(07:41):
stats stats, that's that's even bad teams have a leading
score and the and the Celtics weren't a bad team,
but the Celtics were constructed to which they were built
upon defense. And then they gave Isaiah Thomas to complete
green light and he played well above his level. But
the truth about that team last year that had the
best record in the East is they probably would have
(08:01):
lost in the first round of the Chicago Bulls. Remember
they are down two games and none lost those games
at home. You remember those. Then Jon Rondo got hurt
and it was like and of course Isaiah Thomas came
back his sister had died in a car accident, and
the Celtics recovered and wanted in six games, completely bounced back.
(08:22):
It was amazing emotional journey. But without Rondo getting hurt,
that might not happen. And you would have seen that
the Boston Celtics weren't nearly as good as a record
would have told you last year. And if you think
that he's at the level of Kyrie Irving, then why
wasn't it a closer to a one for one trade.
The answer is, the league tells you how much somebody
(08:44):
is worth. So what's the point. The point is, it
doesn't mean that the Celtics are now better than the Calves,
or the Raptors are gonna be better in the playoffs
than the Calves, or the Wizards are better or the
are better. But when Tyrone Lou says we've all got agendas,
(09:05):
when Lebron James is yelling and screaming at teammates, when
the defensive rating is at twenty nine, there's only thirty
teams in the league. This is going to be death
by a thousand cuts, right, You don't get the the uh.
The British Army wasn't taken down because our patriots lined
(09:29):
up and hand to hand combat. Now we plucked them off,
hid behind rocks, behind trees, or we'd outflank them. That's
what's gonna happen to Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year was thirteen
games to go through the Eastern Conference, only losing one game,
which with each passing game in the playoffs, it's another
(09:52):
body shot to Lebron James, which slows him down. Lebron's
not the defensive player he used to be. They have
no rim protection right now, and they have no point.
Are played defensively as well. And Lebron, while he used
to be deodorant to stinky defense, he's not nearly that deodorant,
and he continues to grow frustrated, as does Tyron Lieu.
(10:12):
And as much as the defense was problematic, so too
was the offense. Don't believe me the head coaches talking
about agendas. I know they've been through losing streaks. They
played poorly before last year. This time they suffered a
couple of embarrassing losses. This one feels a little bit different.
It feels like a flawed blueprint for a team that
(10:36):
they were kind of thrown together on the fly when
Kyrie surprised them and said he wanted out before they
were ready to get him out. And the result Lorenzo
Brown just checked in from the deep from the G
League and dropped, dropped twenty two points, twenty two points amazing,
(11:00):
m hm mm hmmm. Stuck Olive show on Fox Sports Radio,
Fred Van Bleet had twenty two Excuse me, Lorenzo Brown,
six and five, Jacob Portal twelve and twelve. Everybody's scared
(11:21):
of Yaco port Four time pro bowler and Super Bowl

Doug Allip Show, Fox Sports Radio, there's want a Super
Bowl four time pro bowler. This guy can throw the pill.
Drew Bledsoe joins this Uh. Also check out his awesome
(13:08):
double Back, which is a wine. Go to double Back
dot Com or fall on Twitter at Drew Bledsoe if
you want to know more about Drew Bledsoe's wine company. Drew,
how are you? I'm doing great, man, A good day.
I got to uh got the other slopes a little
bit this morning, man, so got some got some some
time on the on the on the snow today with
some I don't I don't see you coming down the
(13:29):
mountain as a guy that that. I feel like you've
got to be especially tall, not very aerodynamic on the mountain. No, no,
I uh, well, every once while we got it leveled
like a little uh the ski race that we do
every year sort of a charity deal, and uh we'll
all race at the same time. And I seem to
be pretty popular at the front because I create a
lot of drag coming down the hill, uh for other
(13:50):
guys following me. All right, U UM, take me inside
what's going on with the Patriots? I know you know
the story, um, and maybe you have a little bit
better a lot better sense of it's real and what's
kind of inflated because we are the media and we're
looking for something really spicy. What do you think of
the relationship as of now between Brady Belichick and and
(14:12):
Robert Kraft. Well, you know, I think people have to
understand first and foremost that you know, this is this
is the National Football League, and you know, you go
to work and it's not rainbows and unicorns and a
hug before naptime. You know, when you go to work,
I mean, this is not always a super friendly deal.
And and um, and you know, with Belichick, I think
anybody that follows him, you know, knows that that you know,
(14:35):
playing for him is not a super pleasurable experience. But
but you know you're gonna win, and so um, you know,
I think if you take take away the assumption that
everybody has to be best friends in order for something
to work, then you can start to understand what's really
happening there. And and these guys have been amazingly successful
for so long, and they've been able to work together
(14:57):
for a long long time. And there it seems like, uh,
you know, every every year or two there's a story
about the demise of the Patriots, and then they go
on and win another Super Bowl. So I think it's
been it's been heavily inflated. If there is even an
an issue, I think it's small and it's it's certain
probably not anything they haven't worked through before. Um So
I just I don't make much of the story. But
(15:18):
but they did give away Jimmy Garoppolo, right, like a
second round pick for a guy who appears to be
a burgeoning star. Feels like and I mean, you trade
away both of his backups. It seems like they're all
in or somebody's all in on Brady playing for several
more years. Is that I know he's playing a high level?
Was that really possible? Yeah? You know, I think you can.
(15:39):
You know, it's uh, he's taken really excellent care of himself.
Um And you know, quarterback is a unique position. It's
more about your brain than your body. Um. And you know,
the thing that's the most unique to me about Tom
and what he's done is that he's been able to
maintain the attention to detail for all of these years.
You know, he and Drew Brees are really really unique
(16:00):
in that, you know, they do all of the little
things you have to do to be successful year after
year after year, and and you know, even you know,
at that high level, it can become monotonous. And they've
been able to maintain that amazing attention to detail. You know, Tommy,
his ability, uh can fall off by another ten and
he can still be extremely effective because of what he's
(16:21):
got upstairs. Um. So yeah, I think he can play
for quite a while. And you know the garoppolo thing. Look,
they were gonna have to make a decision at the
end of the year, um whether it was gonna be
Jimmy or or or tom because they're not going to
pay him both. Um, and they certainly can't pay you know,
Jimmy has a backup more than you pay the starter
that just doesn't work. Um. So they had they had to.
(16:42):
They had to move him or lose him. And so
they at least got something out of it. It's been
really fun. It was really fun to watch Jimmy go
and and thrive in San Franz. Um, he's he's played
better than I thought he would. Yeah. Is that is
that real? Is that sustainable? Because we've seen like, look,
I mean it appears to be the real deal to
us layman, but we've seen guys come in light up
the league, and then league gets a scatter report on
(17:03):
the figures you out and then you know the second year, uh,
you know it's a completely different quarterback. Uh. Is what
Jimmy has been able to do? Is that real? Unsustainable?
I think it is. You know. I actually texted John
Lands after I watched it a couple of games, and man,
you guys got a got a good one. He goes, Yeah,
he's been he's been better than we thought in in
in all ways. Um, you know, now he got to
(17:26):
watch a true master for a lot of years and
Tommy and he got to watch everything that he does.
It's not just about Sundays and Mondays. It's about what
you do, um, you know Monday through Saturday that really
allows you to be successful. And I think that that's
where uh, that's what to me, it appears that is
going to allow Jimmy to be really successful. And he's
a great leader, uh in practice and and knows what
(17:48):
it takes to be uh that kind of guy. And
then uh and then it shows up on on on
game day. So yeah, it looks to me like they
have a really good one. And um, I would anticipate
that they're going to get him signed to a long
term call tractor before long. Um, is there any amount
of money that that you could earn back that would
cause you to bet against the paths like this one
(18:08):
seems And we were talking yesterday, like I don't know
how much money would hurt, right, Like if you lost
ten thousand dollars that would that would hurt most of
the rest of us pretty pretty badly. But like you know,
ten to one, twenty to one odds, it just seems
like betting any money on the Titans to win this
weekend is wasted money. What are your thoughts on the reality,
the realistic possibility of the Titans beat the Patriots in
(18:31):
New England? Well, uh, yeah, I mean I agree it's
an extreme long shot, but but this is still the
National Football League, Uh, And any team that that gets
into the playoffs is a really good football team. Um.
You know, the way that the way that it could
possibly happen, it would involve Marcus Mariotta having to do
some really special things, maybe maybe throw himself another touchdown
(18:52):
pass or um. And uh, they're they're the Titans defensive
front four has to be able to get pressure thout.
Bringing blitz is Um, that's been the recipe for a
long time. If you can get pressure on Tommy with
just four guys, uh, and and still commit seven to
uh to cover uh, then uh, you know, then you
can be effective against him. But I think it's I
(19:13):
think it's a long shot. But if the if the
Titans come in, if they create two or three turnovers,
have one or two big players on special teams, uh,
and Marcus Mariota does some some special things, you know
they've got a chance. They really do. It's not you know,
it's not like, Uh, this is not like some of
the college games you see where you come in and
and you know you've got Alabama playing you know, some
small school and there's just absolutely no possible way. It's
(19:36):
the NFL. These guys are they're they're good players, uh,
and the Titans are good enough to get in and
win a playoff game. So, um, it's not impossible. I
think it's highly unlikely. Though, the Great Drew Bledsoe joining
us on the Doug Gottlieb Show. The Jags last time
they faced the Steelers picked up Big Ben five times.
They didn't you know, Bortles didn't even have to throw
(19:57):
for a hundred yards and they still beat the the Steelers. Um,
what are your thoughts on that Jaguars defense? And if
they can get to Ben again, they can shut down
Levy on and can compete with Antonio Brown. Maybe not
the level of dominance of last time around, but stiming
that that high powered offensive again, well super super unlikely
(20:17):
that the Ben has another game like that. You know,
he's just he didn't throw five interceptions. I don't know
how many times it's happened in his career, but I
can't imagine it's been very many. Um. You know, the
biggest impact in this game is it looks like Antonio
Brown is expected to play because he's a difference maker.
You know, the the jag is one of the things
that makes their defense so dominant is that they're able
(20:37):
to play man coverage against almost everybody. But if you
play man coverage against against Antonio Brown for an entire game,
you're you're really rolling the rolling the dice, regardless of
how good your corners are. UM, so it'll be an
intriguing matchup. I'd be really really surprised to see the
Steelers with all of their weapons get stimied again and
and um, you know, and and you know, throwing five interception,
(21:00):
it's just just isn't gonna happen again for Big Ben. Uh. Look,
Drew Brees showed us he still got some Drew Brees
magic as is. His run game was taken away last
week by the Carolina Panthers. Can he do it again? Though?
Because this this Vikings defense, who appears to be better
maybe than any other defense in the nation. Football really
really cool. You know, Mike Zimmer was my defensive coordinator,
wasn't when I was in college at Washington State. Uh,
(21:22):
And then I was with him again with uh with
the Cowboys for for a couple of years. And he's
one of my favorite guys I've ever encountered in football.
So I'm really really happy for him and for what's
happened with the Vikings and they're, uh, they really are
playing exceptional defense, which is no surprise with Mike Zimmer
up there. Um, but Drew's Drew Brees is uh, he's
(21:44):
just he is super unique. He is he is Uh,
he's maybe the most accurate pastor that I've that I've seen,
you know, he and he and maybe Aaron Rodgers Troy
in that conversation too. Yeah, Troy. Troy's in there. Uh,
troys in there. But you know when Troy was when
Troy was was winning, and I love Troy is one
of my favorite players of all time. Um, you know
(22:05):
it was. It was not very often where it was
just thrown on his shoulders. You know, there's a lot
of emmett and and run and play action word word.
But but Drew, when you watched the ball placement, and
that's one thing that I like, I really like to
pay attention to when I'm watching these quarterbacks. You know,
is you watched you watched Drew Brees play and the
ball hits the receiver right in the face masks so
(22:26):
many times, or it hits him just on the proper shoulder. Um,
and so the the uh, you know, the degree of
accuracy that Drew has as a passer um is extremely
remarkable and I think it's unique in all of the
National Football League. Drew Bloods joining us in the Doug
Gottlips Show. Um, Nick Foles comes in and he runs
an offense. It's not his offense, right and first first game,
(22:50):
four touchdown passes. You know, that's good enough. But since then,
it hasn't, it hasn't seemed like a good fit, and
he seems to have lost some confidence. They had a
week off. Can you fix things that have been failing
in that Eagles offense in that off week as they're
now a home underdog against the Falcons. Yeah, you know,
I think the bye week really really important for Nick Foles.
(23:11):
I I really like Nick Foles. I like his game.
I really always have. When he's been in good situations,
he's played extremely well. Um, But having that bye week
because when you're when you're a backup quarterback in the NFL,
is particularly when you're backing up a young guy, a
second year guy like Carson Wentz, you don't get any
reps in practice and you run some scout team. Um
(23:32):
you know, you sit in film, but you're you're timing
with the starting receivers is just not going to be
there because you just don't get enough reps with them. Um.
So this bye week for Nick Foles, I think is
hugely important, more important than than it is for for
any other team in the league. Uh. And I expect
him to come out and play very very well. I
I would not be surprised at all to see a
(23:53):
huge game out of Nick Foles in this uh in
this playoff game coming up. Check out his wines at
double dot com or fall him on Twitter at Drew bloed.
So glad you uh not only hit the slopes, but
you arrive safe in time for our radio interview. Thanks
for our guest, Drew, appreciate it right. Always gonna talk
to you man pleasures mind Drew bled so joining us.
Um you guys ski music? Do you ski? Or you almost?
(24:17):
You a skier? You enjoy heating the slopes? You never
skied When I was seven years old snowboarding, John you
snowboard did music. I am a snowboarder, although it is
not I am not a huge winter sports advocate. The
whole cold thing, The whole cold thing kind of sucks.
Right Well, my whole thing with snowboarding is every time
I do it, I'll do it like one time in
(24:40):
the winter, and I'm like, all right, that's good. Whereas
like some of my friends are like, let's hit the
slopes for eight hours, then tomorrow we'll do it again.
I'm like, no, I'm good for like three or four
hours one day and then I don't need to do
it for another twelve months. I'll give you my thoughts
at the slopes momentarily as conditions in the field change,
so can your insurance needs to talk with the Farmers
eight today so you can assess with your policies. Game ready.
(25:02):
Find an agent in Farmers dot com. Are Farmers Dan Buyer.
He is incredible on this slob I mean just incredible.
Uh maybe across country ski here or there. Yes, it's tough.
It's talk about a workout. Wow. Yeah, you don't realize
it at first and then you're like, oh great, I
(25:24):
can't move my legs or arms. We'll see if the
Steelers can move the football on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If they're gonna do so, they're likely gonna need wide
receiver Antonio Brown, who actually was sent home today with
an illness from practice. Bron is still expected to play
Sunday against the Jaguars as he returns from his calf
muscle injury that cost him the last couple of games
of the regular season. Also on Sunday, the Vikings are
(25:46):
home to the New Orleans Saints that are report from
the Boston Globe says the Vikings are going to activate
quarterback Sam Bradford for that game. As he could be
the backup to case Keenum. The Vikings would not confirm
the Boston Globe report Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio staying
in Chicago under newhoad coach Mattneggie, while the Bills have
dismissed offensive coordinator Rick Dennison Baylor and coach Matt Rule
(26:08):
was taking himself out of consideration for the Colts job.
A couple of notes in the NBA Warriors guard Steph
Curry out tonight against Milwaukee because of a sprained ankle,
and Doug Jazz guard Rodney Hood find thirty five thousand
dollars for slapping the phone of a fan, knocking it
out of the fans hand during a game on Wednesday.
What happened was he was ejective from the game. He's
(26:29):
walking off the court and the fan was filming him
and he smacked it out of his hand, like I
don't know, just buy him and buy him an iPhone
X can be done with. And he guys had the
iPhone X, I did the eight the eight plus in
said the iPhone X. I heard, It's got almost the
same hardware, just it has a home button and I'm
so used to the home button that I couldn't. I
just can't quit you. It's got the same camera everyod
(26:51):
he freaks out about the camera anyway, buy are you
so you have? Have you been skiing before? No? Not
not downhill. I think the thing that scares me about
skiing because even if you do it well, but you
just said not downhill. So no, No, you've been cross countries. Okay, yes,
if you do it well, yes, you're just happy that
you survive. You like, like, there's no guarantee that you
(27:11):
are not that bad. It's not that Look, So here's
my skiing story. I know we're I did I. I
have something interesting I want to talk about with the
Lakers that I'll get to. But here's my skiing story. Okay,
So I grew up in southern California, which there actually
is great skiing, not particularly far away. Right, you can
go mountain highs like an hour from where I grew up,
(27:32):
Big Bears like two hours. Mammoth is like what four
or five six hours away whatever, depending on whether uh so,
there's plenty of people that do ski, but I was
a basketball player. Basketball players one don't ski because you
can hurt your knees and two same season. Right, So
I've never been skiing before my life up until I'm
(27:53):
gonna say it was probably about eight years ago, right
about now. Okay, maybe yeah, probably eight years ago right
about now. And I came home college basketball saturdays. When
I was at ESPN, I used to we used to
do swim class with my kids at like nine, done
at ten, and I had to be in an eleven
and we'd be on air at twelve. But that was
(28:14):
our that was our deal. And you be on twelve
until like midnight, and then you do a one am show,
you come home with two to you be home by
two thirty. And I was You're tired. That's a long day.
So my wife would let me sleep in as long
as I'm just not a sleeping guy. Plus I had
three little kids, and so i'd wake up, you know,
hopefully at like ten if I could, but more reasonably,
(28:38):
like eight or eight thirty. The kids would come in
and they'd wake me up. So on this one particular morning,
she taps me on the show. It's like nine o'clock.
She's like, get up, get dressed, we're going skiing. Now.
The town he used to live in is called Kenton, Connecticut.
It's about fifteen minutes from an area in New Hartford
called Ski Sundown, which is just you know, it's a
little place you can go and ski with your kids.
(28:58):
It's not bad, like fifth team minutes door to door.
She's like, you were learning to ski today. I was like, okay,
So I throw on some ski pants that I have.
I had ski pants because well, it's cold in Connecticut,
not because I was a skier and a had a
ski jacket. Again, not because I ski, but because it's
cold in Connecticut. So we get to the spot, we
rent some skis and I'm like, all right, where's my lesson.
(29:21):
She's like, I'll give you a lesson. You're an adult.
You can figure this outright. How hard could it be? Right, Like,
every little kid to three year old is going down
the mountain. How hard could this be for your boy?
So you get on skis, you click them on, and
now you have to, as Dan said, you have to
like kind of cross country ski a little bit across
(29:41):
to where you go into the bunny hills to learn
how to go down the hill. And I will attest
to what Dan saying, like just simply trying to go
from here to there on skis, and I know cross
country skis are built a little bit different than downhill skis,
but that if you've never done it, it's really really
hard work. If you have done this hard work. So
first we get to the little chair lift and of
course the ego and he was like, let's go on
(30:02):
a real hill, which she's like, now, you're not ready
for that. So all my wife told me was pizza slice,
Like what do you mean? Like, Look, if you start
going too fast, just make your legs feet like a
pizza slice. It'll slow you down and then you can
even sit down on your bum and you'll stop. You
drag a little bit, but then you stop. Like that
sounds easy, It is easy. Just remember pizza slice. So
(30:25):
we get off of the little chair lift and there's
a bunch of snow and kind of ice and manmade
stuff or whatever. But there's a tree to the left
and you gotta kind of turn around loop around this
tree to turn around and go down the bunny hill.
And I get caught right next to the tree and
get like wedged in there, and it's like dirt in there. Anyway,
with a snow comes to an end, I'm already miffed.
We start going down the hill. I can't pizza slice.
(30:47):
I fall down, the ski goes askew. I'm like, this
is dumb, this is crazy. I need a lesson. I
want a divorce um the second time, so I didn't
want to do it a second time. Second time, we
go up the bunny the bunny hill. Now I start
going downhill and I don't pizza slice and I don't crash,
and I'm going really fast, or at least what I
(31:07):
thought was really fast. And I see little kids in
my way and I'm freaking out. And I just get
around avoiding decapitating a little child that was taking a
bunny hill ski lesson. So my wife comes down. She's
laughing at me. She's like, well, it's close, huh. It's like, hey, hon,
how do you turn? She's like, you're not ready for turning.
Just indulge me. How do you turn? She's like, well,
(31:28):
you're lean, you know, whichever way you want to go,
and that's how you turn. Like, well, when this information
had been pertinent, you know, before I got on a
pair of skis. So I go down the third time.
I'm leaning. I'm kind of turning, like I can do this, uh,
we proceed a ski for a couple of hours. It
was fine. I ski with my kids. It was fine,
(31:49):
and like, look my egos and check enough to know
that if I'm not going down the double black Diamond, right,
I'm like trying to make the US Mogul team. But
I'm kind of with music on the when like I've
been invited my friends are like, hey, why don't you
come to Aspen. Let's go hit the slopes, like because
you know, like you've done it for anary, Like I'm good.
(32:10):
Now we're gonna go do it like you guys gonna
want to go hit the gym. He's gonna watch drink,
watch the TV. Like that's really what ski trips are about.
It's about the drinking, the eating, the hanging out and
then like like skier dudes like let's go ski, let's
go do it. Like yeah, I'm okay, I'm kind of good.
I couldn't agree more. I'm all about hanging out in
the cabin, having some nice drinks, get a fire, going,
(32:31):
all of those activities, but it's not so fun when
everyone's like, no, let's go, let's go for round two
in the afternoon. I'm like, we just did it all morning,
Like come on, yeah, that's it's not like round two
with her right right, Like I think how I think,
Like that's it's their skier guy feels about skiing the
way that that most guys feel about Round two with her,
(32:56):
around three with her like yeah, where she's like, let's
go back and get the slope. Let's go have a
nice being Like no, let's go back to the cabin
and I'm good. We're good, We're good. There's the Mars
and Venus. Wouldn't you love a bigger tax refund? Tax

Uh Alonzo balls played better? It correlates with something else
going on during during Alonzo in Alonzo Balls life. Um,
(34:00):
is that correlation fair? We'll talk about that top the
R Plus. We're searching down Eric Man Genie's had some
flight troubles landing in New York City. We'll get the
Man Genius on the air sometime very very soon. R. J.
Bell joined us next hour as well. Jam Pack Show. Okay,
this is game time side on the Doug Gottlieb Show,
(34:25):
Dan Buyer, what's the game? Psychic? The game today is psychic? Alright,
And again that's because you knew it, because you are psychic. Psychic.
That was the that was the that was the funny
part of it. Yes, no, you have to explain the joke.
Musn't I get a joke? Yes, that's on me. No, No,
don't we just do the same joke every Friday? So
(34:48):
I just figured I would I would just let those
who haven't heard, you know, understand the joke. Um, how
about I just give you these psychic lunch Just just
don't you every Friday? Alright? Psychic? Well, the Titans have
Mike Mullarkey as their head coach on Monday morning, so
(35:11):
looking ahead through the weekend, will Mike Mularkey still be
the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Yes, I think
he will. I think he will be. Like do I
think they'll make some changes in their offensive play calling staff? Sure,
but I think winning a playoff game and getting to
the playoffs is going to be enough. There were rumors
about him potentially losing his job if he lost last week.
(35:33):
The owner came out in full support. Now I know
the ownership may change, that team is for sale, but
I think, yeah, he'll be the coach. Yeah. It's one
of those things where maybe if they if they don't
win last week, then he's out of a job. But
this week it means he's safe. But yeah, all of
the assistants maybe on the go. ESPN says that Matt
Hasselbeck will call the Pro Bowl with Sean McDonough the
week before Super Bowl fifty two in Orlando. So psychic
(35:56):
will Matt Hasselbeck Hasselbeck beat John Gruten's full time replace
Smith in the Monday night football Booth. I don't think so. Um,
I just I don't see it happening. And I'll tell
you why. Matt Hasselback actually called a game for Fox
when he was still playing. Was hurt one year and
he called agame for Fox. He kind of sounds like
Bill Simmons when he's I actually think Tim Hasselback would
(36:18):
be better, or both Hasselbacks together. Um, I think they're
trying to get Peyton Manning. I think they're trying to
get you know, if not Peyton Manning, maybe a Brett Favre,
a huge name. Matt Hasselbeck would be a good analyst.
Maybe they put him with the Lewis Reddick or something
like that. But it's still Monday Night football. It may
not be the biggest booth in the in the NFL anymore.
It's probably the fourth biggest, but it's still the fourth
(36:40):
fourth biggest booth, and I would be surprised if Matt
got that gig. Yeah, the big name aspect of it,
as well as as you touched on, I think is
is key. The Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage told
ESPN Radio that the Broncos coaching staff asked that Baker
Mayfield be placed on their team for the Senior Bowl.
Broncos picked fifth overall in the draft coming up in
(37:02):
the spring. Psychic, do you see Baker Mayfield playing his
pro career in the Broncos uniform. I do not. I
do not. I think, look, is he different than the
guys that they've had? Sure? Uh, but I mean like, look,
I think they want to take a good long look
at him. But I think when you take a good
long look at him, you'll like him more. You'll like
his personality more, but you won't like his vitals nearly
(37:23):
as much. His his tangibles are not what they're billed
to be. He ain't Russell Wilson Man and in and
Drew Brees. I was surprised because Josh Allen's gonna play
in the Senior Bowl. That would have been something that
was maybe not as surprising to hear the Broncos want
to work with Josh Allen. But just because there have
been talks and how big Allen is or the size
(37:45):
of Allen as a quarterback could be something appealing to
John Elway. I was just surprised that the Broncos wanted
to see more of Mayfield. And yeah, I think the
thing about Josh Allen is he's a bit of a
project and they've drafted a project um and that that,
to me, I think is is the part that gives them.
You know, It's like, yeah, we we get we go
after Rookie, He's gonna be ready to go. Yahoo Sports
(38:08):
reports the Cleveland Cavaliers could move Tristan Thompson if they
can acquire an asset like Clippers center DeAndre Jordan's so psychic. Well,
the Cavaliers trade Lebron's close friend Tristan Thompson before the
trade deadline, Yeah, I don't think they're I don't think
there's closer friends as they used to be now that
he's he's basically a Kardashian. That would get him closer
to home, and that would get the Clippers, uh that
(38:28):
number one, that number one pick. So my guess is, yeah,
they'll make that move if the Clippers will allow them to.
I just don't know if the Clippers want Tristan Thompson
back in return. Yeah, and I think if is if
you look at the East and you see what happened
last night with the Raptors. Not that DeAndre Jordan would
go to Toronto, but if you put DeAndre Jordan on
another East team, it's another contender that the Cavaliers would
(38:50):
maybe have to go through, whether it be Milwaukee or
Washington or whatever the case may be. If they were
to get DeAndre Jordan. At least it would also key
him off of another Eastern Conference contender. UM psychic. Finally,
what top five teams should be on upset alert this
weekend in college basketball? Now, there are actually six top
five teams in the latest AP pole because Wichita State
(39:13):
and Purdue are both ranked fifth. But you've got number
one Villanova at St. John's, Number two West Virginia at
eighth ranked Texas Tech on Sunday. Third ranked Virginia hosts
Ency State. You've got a Michigan Michigan State battle on Saturday,
which State is at Tulsa and also in the Big Ten.
Number five perdu was at Minnesota. UH. Minnesota is not
the same with Reggie Lynch suspended, likely never to play
(39:35):
again there with some sexual as solid allegations. Three actually
against him. UM, I would say at West Virginia, although
I don't I think they'll actually be underdogs at Texas Tech.
They're the most likely to go down. Tech of course
just lost Oklahoma tough stretch of their schedule. But Texas
Tech really well coach, good team, and their style against
West Virginia playing at home I think will bode well
for him. This is game top on the Duck Godly

So I guess the show ski trip is out. We're
none of us. We're not doing that. Not doing that
(40:24):
because he's like, yeah, I love the snowboard about once
a year. Then I'm good. We all just sit inside
and chat around the fire. That's what it would end
up being. NFL football. No, listen, um, it was like
four years ago whatever. Remember when the Vikings and the
Packers played the last week of the season. Remember that
last week of the season and I think the Packers won.
(40:47):
Then they played again the first week of the playoffs.
For this like four years ago, right. I was up
actually up at Mountain High and we ski and like
there's like an open air bar, and I remember coming
down the slopes like wait, I can watch football and
drink beer or I could go back up and slips
and nearly kill myself. Like it's really the decision. My
wife's like why you really quit early. It's like, no,
I didn't. I started early. What do you mean, Like
(41:08):
I started drinking very very early, so al sober up
by the time of time drive home. Do you think
that disappointed her that you would rather like she's all excided,
like we're going skiing and you're like, hey, can I
just watch the game? But you have your ski? You
think you disappointed her at all? Like, come on, it
did it frustrate her? We put our kids in like
ski school so we could ski together and it was
really enjoyable, Like the first three or four times we
(41:29):
went down, and then we're like, we're like, it is
really cold, and I don't love the cold, but it
doesn't affect me. She hates the cold. So at some
point she's like, Okay, we're done. Cool, I'm going inside.
I'm just gonna go inside. Like what are you gonna
do inside? She's like, I don't know, I'll be inside. Yeah.
The thing and you can bundle up and the ski
gear keeps you super warm. You can tell me all
(41:51):
this stuff about you know, it's not cold because you're
doing physical activity and all the stuff. You're still out
in the snow and the freezing cold sorry, man could
be eighty this weekend. Ramo has a bit of actually
bikini line. I know, I know you like to go
banana hammock when you go down to Malibu and kids weekends,
I do get a little crazy, Doug, thanks for putting
(42:12):
it out. Yeah, I know, I mean banana hammock and Ramos.
Sometimes at some point that's your TMZ is gonna interview
you in the Banana Hammock. Lots of talk a bit
about the Patriots, their house drama. But there if they
lose this weekend, could it be a complete disaster? Well
maybe for another team that's next in the Doug Gotli Show.
What Up? Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio, Coming to
(42:35):
you from the City of Angels. You know, Um, winning
cures all ills. But sometimes it's not that you lose
or even how you play when you lose, it's who
you lose too. Right, Um, do you guys see what
happened in Buffalo today? Buyer Dan Buyer joining us? Of course? Uh? Um,
(42:58):
Dan Buyer's recording something right now, we'll get him in
a second. Or Ramos, did you know what happened in
Buffalo today? I don't, but I'm intrigued to find out.
What about you, Ryan Music. Do you know what happened
in Buffalo today? I do know. They let go of
their offensive coordinator. Do you know his name? I do
not know? And al right, we only know their names
if they are awesome of their terrible right, and that's
really kind of what what what it comes down to? Um.
(43:21):
The the Buffalo Bills today parted ways with their offensive
coordinator following their ten to three laws two uh to
the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rick Dennison completed his twenty third season
in the National Football League and his first season with
the Bills in two thousand seventeen, so he'd only been
(43:41):
there a year. He came in with Sean McDermott. Now
McDermott's background is defense, McDermott was UM. Jim Johnson was
the legendary defensive coordinator under Andy Reid with the Philadelphia Eagles.
If you trace back when the Eagles are really good,
when he went to all those NFC championship games in
(44:02):
the one Super Bowl with TiO and Don McNabb, and
McNabb got nervous and threw up in whatever, and and
Teo came in on a white Horse and came back
quickly from knee injury or leg injury, whatever and played
in the Super Bowl. Remember that, Okay, uh, those teams,
the defense really carried those teams for a lot of
the time. And their defense, according was Jim Johnson. Seanmy
(44:24):
Dermott was his protege. Jim Johnson got sick, left, the
team died, McDermott and the team the defense fell off.
McDermott state in the league, worked his way back defense
according with the Carolina Panthers, and then two years ago
or now three seasons ago, he had the best defensive
league with the Carolina Panthers. They were lost one game
the regular season, lost in the Super Bowl to the
(44:44):
Denver Broncos. Right, So then last year he gets the
Buffalo Bill's job. Take some of the Buffalo Bills front
office guys that he likes with him, defensive minded guy.
Shadded some of the players in the previous regime, and
he hired Rick Dennison to handle the offense. Now um,
the Buffalo Bills offense ranked twenty six in yard for attempt,
(45:05):
seven in passing, touchdown thirty and first downs thirty one,
in yards after the catch thirty one, and past completions.
The Bills were twenty second in points per game. So
Rick Dennison gets fired, so you would think, well, he's
bad at his job, but Tyrod Taylor was his quarterback.
They traded away Sammy Watkins. Robert Woods is also now
(45:26):
member of the Rams, Like, who do you really have
to work with? I don't think he lost his job
because of any of those rankings. I think he lost
his job because Sean McDermott held the Jacksonville Jaguars to
ten points in a playoff game and thought, my offense
can't score one stinking touchdown. I gotta get somebody who
can design an offense that can score me one stinking touchdown.
(45:51):
I don't think it's the fact that they lost in
the playoffs to making the playoffs for the first time
and was like eighteen years. I think it was that
they lost in the playoffs to the Jaguars. Are you
kidding me? Blake Morrows was so bad people were wondering
whether or not he was really left handed. And you
couldn't even score a touchdown. We gave you feel position
you couldn't score a touchdown, which brings me to something.
(46:15):
You know, there's a lot of talk about the dysfunction
in New England, Brady Belichick craft, the odd love triangle
and what occurs there right, some of this, and look,
I've been married for seventeen years. Ramo has been married
for eighteen years. And I would guess that Ramos was
like me. We got good marriages, good ladies, one of
(46:37):
those things, a perfect marriage. My wife got mad at
me yesterday because we're renting the home that we're in,
and so she's like, if we're gonna stay in this place,
I'd like to do a couple of things the house, right,
no problem, Yeah, I'm not great. So, uh, we had
a handyman come over and because somebody had accidentally detached
(47:00):
the door from one of the bathrooms because of his
raw strength and power, this guy, so he had to
reattach the door. That's something I can't do. And then
she's like, hey, we got this the launch room. We
took off this door of to the launch room and
there's wallpaper that's exposed and there's some holes that need
to be speckled. Now, my wife is super super handy.
I'm not even kidding, Like she's the handy person around
(47:21):
the house and taking off wallpaper. That's just kind of
a hard job, right, It's like that's kind of a
bad effort. So the guy leaves after giving us the estimate,
and I was like, why aren't we doing that? So
what do you mean, Like why aren't we doing You
can like that cost like five hundred bucks, Like that's
five hundred bucks we could use elsewhere to have a
guy take off wallpaper that we could take off the wallpaper.
(47:43):
She's like, do you want to do it? Was like, no,
I don't want to do it, but you're great at
these kind of things anyway, So you fast forward till
later on the nights, like eight o'clock at nine, kids
are in bed. She's still upset, like it was an
argument we had like a nine in the morning, and
she's like, brings it back up. I was like that argument,
that guy argument is like almost twelve hours old. Like
I'm done with I'm, I'm I've moved on. I moved on.
(48:06):
Well I have not moved on. So I was forced
to semi apologize for something that was not really wrong about.
But anyway, the point is, even really good marriages have disputes, right,
And I don't know if the Patriots marriage is really good.
But these two have been together, Brady and Belichick for
seventeen years. That hits the over in any marriage these days,
(48:30):
let alone a football marriage. Correct. Meanwhile, there's the Pittsburgh
Steelers we talked about at Little yesterday. Um, do you
guys remember what Levy on Bell said? Now, Levy on
Bell yesterday was asked, hey, if you if you get
franchise tagged, would you consider sitting out the season retiring?
(48:53):
And he said he would, he would consider it. Right,
He did say that, And if you think that sat
well with the people in Pittsburgh, then um, why did uh?
Why did Levy on Bell have to go take to
Twitter and kind of defend himself? Right? Then he went
(49:16):
on Twitter and he said I'm not paraphrasing here, but
he essentially said, hey, look, you know, all I'm concerned
about is this year and the guys in this locker room.
What happens at the end of the year happens the
end of the year. Levian wants to get paid. Antonio
Brown did get paid, but it didn't sit well with
most people in the organization. Ryan Chazier can't walk. Ben
Rothsberger swears that he wants to play forever, even though
(49:39):
he's opened up the door to retiring over the past
two years. And uh and look, Mike Tomlin has never
been beloved by many Why many fans of the Steelers
organization in terms of his his detail, his attention to
detail in big games, like when they lost to the Patriots,
which is which lost them home field advantaged. About the playoffs,
(50:02):
I'm telling you this, if the Jacksonville Jaguars, for a
second time this season, beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs,
their heads will roll in Pittsburgh. Now, Is it partially
because of the dysfunction and the desire for money, which
is a very anti Pittsburgh thing. Pittsburgh has never paid
(50:23):
paid guys top dollar like that did Antonio Brown. That's
not been their m O. Sure, is it part of
the fact that it's been a long time since they
got back to that Super Bowl and frustration over the
fact that he the Patriots, who you see as contemporaries,
are able to get there on a much more regular
basis and now win on a much more regular basis. Sure,
(50:45):
but a lot of it comes down to nobody thinks
they think the Jaguars are devoid of any sort of quarterback.
It should be an impossibility for this Steeler team to
lose at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They're so the
lack of respect for Blake Bortles is so widespread that
(51:06):
if you lose, people are getting fired. Dudes are getting cut.
Like Blake Bortles did not. I joked about it. He
did not really equate himself to Lebron James. He was
making a point and it was a pretty good one.
Remember early this week, Blake Bortles was talking about the
haters and talking about Lebron James having haters and if
(51:30):
Lebron James has haters, well then anybody could have haters,
right guy. Remember that, like, Blake Bortles wasn't even saying
I'm as good as Lebron James. He was actually saying
the opposite. He was giving a ton of credit to
Lebron James when he said it. But because it's Blake
Bortles saying it, people are like, are you kidding me?
(51:50):
Blake Bortles and Lebron James in the same sentence. That's embarrassing.
Nobody thinks he's any good. I'm This is the quote
that people freaked out about take a listen, It'll probably
never stop. Man. There's people that think Lebron James sucks.
So if that happens, I'm sure there'll be a lot
of people that always think I sucked. No, there will
(52:14):
be people that thought Lebron James suck that will come
around to it. I'm not sure there are many people
they're gonna come around to it. Like, the lack of
respect people have from Blake Portals is so intense that
if he's able to command a win for the Jaguars,
if he's the quarterback for the Jaguars and they beat
(52:34):
the Steelers on the road in the playoffs, dude heads
are going to roll. Sounds crazy, but both Daniel Jeremiah
and Bucky Brooks both picked the Jaguars. No Chaisier, great
run stopper, great leader, great linebacker. Antonio Brown miss practice
(52:55):
to day because the flu is coming back from a
from a calf strain. More than anything, this is a
Pittsburgh Steeler team that has had a lot of uneven performances.
They've had wins, but close wins over Cleveland and Indie,
the bottom of the league. They've and they lost to
this Jaguar team. You said about Chase the minute it
(53:16):
happened how big that was going to be. And I
think now people are starting to see exactly how big
it is. That they didn't want to say it then
because nobody wants les. R J. Bell told you he
want to don't want to give defensive players that much
of credit. But that seemed to be the reason why everybody,
I mean, they've had troubles before in the season, but
that your your thought on Saser seems like begining more
(53:38):
momentum now as as we get closer to the game.
I also think that there was just a lot of

(54:21):
also keep in mind I'm a Charger fan, and the
first eight games season they didn't have Denzel Perriman and
their run defense was terrible. And there's there's a lot
of similarities and defensive style between the Steelers and what
Gus Bradley was doing with the Chargers this season, and
how important that one position actually is, especially to the
run game. I got a thought for you on a

about Alonzo ball. Do you guys knowice Wo's been playing
bettergain last night? He did, he played lash he made
shots last night. They looked there playing against the Spurs
(56:34):
team that didn't have Danny Green, didn't have Kawhi Leonard,
didn't have Tony Parker. Uh I didn't ever Roody Gay.
So I mean that's four of their top seven players
for their top seven, maybe four their top six, including
Kawhi Leonard, who is probably the third best player in
the NBA. So, um, it's not like they're beating the
(56:59):
top level Spur But he hit four threes. He is
playing better basketball. They have won three in a row.
Up anybody else know the corel there's a correlation here.
Something else has been happening while Alonzo has been playing better.
Anybody's seen LaVar Nope, LaVar is in Loeu, Lithuania. Alonzo
(57:20):
is playing better in l a coincidence. I'm just wondering
if there's a coincidence. Um. I saw that Brian Windhorst
went on Rich Eisen and said that he has been
told the Lakers don't support Luke Walton and that some
believe that they're they're eyeing David Fizdale to be his replacement.
(57:42):
I haven't heard that from anybody, and I have some
good sources inside the Lakers organization. I haven't heard that
from anybody. Now. It doesn't mean that up until uh,
this losing streak ended, the Lakers were happy with it.
But kind of an untenable situation for anybody. Half of
(58:03):
this team is going to be gone next year. Some
of those vets know it. Alonzo Ball was hurt, and
when he's hurt, the team can be really selfish, more
based upon makeup than anything else. So core group of
young guys fully invest in Luke. I haven't heard that
he's in trouble at all. Yes, Music, I find that
(58:24):
to be such an interesting name. Like a coach who
was only a head coach for a little bit of
time had problems getting along with the star player, and
we know how that happens in the NBA. The star
player always ends up winning out. But somehow he's going
to be the guy that replaces another young head coach
who hasn't been a head coach for a long time.
(58:45):
He's here's the here's what I think win Horse is
getting to. Okay, win Horses big win Horse has attached
himself to Lebron, Right, That's how he his rise in
his career has been. He covered Lebron in high school,
covered Lebron with calves. He covered the Bron with Miami.
Now he's covering the Bron back with the calves right
now he covers the entire NBA. And he does have
(59:06):
good sourcing. David Fizdale was an assistant with the Miami
Heat when Lebron was there. I wouldn't stun me at
all if like, look, Luke Walton and in Contavious col
wal Pope don't get along. Okay, they don't get along.
Cantavious Cobo Pope has been awful this year, huge disappointment.
Got a second d u. I uh so he didn't
(59:28):
play in their opener. He didn't come in in shape. Like,
here's what I you want to know what I believe
has happened? Okay, So, who is Contavious Cobo Pope? Station?
Isn't it a rich Paul Right who's best friends with Lebron? James?
Okay so and um Brian Windhorst is saying agents are
(59:49):
telling him that they're eyeing David Fizdale. Here's the way
it works, Okay, Contavious Cobo Pope on my plan for Luke,
Walton tells Rich Paul. Rich Paul tells Brian Winhorse, Hey man,
they'll he's he's LaVar's right to losing the team. Losing
the team. You know it would be good there. Fizz
(01:00:11):
be good there. That's because Fizz was an assistant that
heat squad. Lebron really likes Fizz, and everybody knows the
Lakers are going after Lebron. That's where it comes from.
So he does have sources. I don't think it's crazy
to think that if the season went to hell in
(01:00:32):
a handbasket that Luke's job wouldn't be in trouble. And
I think it's fair to say that he and Cantavious
Callwell Pope probably don't get along. But Coo Pope came
in out of shape, attitude wasn't great, started to adjust
his attitude and get to his role, got a d
but he got a d U Y, which caused him
to have to miss road games and even at home games,
(01:00:55):
he was spending an uncomfortable amount of time at the
facility or at stable center because if he wasn't spending
it there, he had to spend a detention center. They
would have practices at eleven. Normally he's one of the
last guys in the building. All of a sudden he
starts showing up at seven in the morning, eating breakfast,
getting extra massage, Like, man, why are you here's your early?
It's like either here or at the detention center. Well,
(01:01:16):
so do I do? I think? I don't. I'm I
think there's a very good chance that's where wind Horse
got his information from Rich Paul, and that's where Rich
Paul gave the information. Do I think that has anything
to do with whether or not Lebron wants to play
for Luke Walton? I have no idea. How do you
think Luke Walton currently stands with the Lakers? Because I
saw I can't remember who it was. I wish I
(01:01:36):
could give him credit, but someone pointed out on Twitter, um,
I saw it was last night of the night before.
Technically Luke Walton wasn't hired by Magic Johnson and Rob
Polinka hired by Genie bus Right, So do you think
that he has that layer of protection through Genie or
a lot of times what we see is like, oh,
(01:01:57):
well he wasn't there guy, So they'll be willing to
bait with him at any point that they can. I
think he still has the protection as of now. I
think what what what's most likely to happen in the
off season is assistant coaching changes more than anything. I
think assistant coaching changes um which like, look, you could
(01:02:18):
hire David Fizdale as an assistant coach and it probably
wouldn't Luke probably wouldn't love it, right, but he is
from l A. He is a well respected assistant coach.
He's been an assistant coach before. It's not like he's like,
you're hiring Jeff Van Gunny's assistant coach, going like he's
the assistant wink wink coach, right, Like no, if this
has been an assistant coach for a long time the NBA. Uh,
(01:02:42):
but I have not been told that Luke is in
trouble yet. It was bad before this last three game
winning stream. It was bad, you know, team meetings, selfish play.
It's also I mean, like, look, they didn't have Brandon
Ingram some of these games. They didn't have Lonzo Ball
most of the that losing streak. He didn't play in
(01:03:03):
and he's playing better, and you haven't heard from his dad's.
His dad's in Lithuania. Has a team meeting ever been good?
Has anyone been on? They called it a banquet. We're
on a tip, we're on a ten game winning streak.
Let's get a team meeting like it's never been a
good thing. I feel like players only meeting. There's no
such thing as a good good momentum. Good good teams
don't have players only meetings as conditions on the field change.

Josh Johnson samus quote is right? Who's famous quote? Josh Downson?
Know what's that Uh, there's money in the air. You
know that. Oh yeah, he's on his he's money in

him on MLB Network ones and he said, any any
(01:05:11):
hitting coach that tells you to hit top half, look,
give me the eye and go there's money in the air.
You know what that means, right, hitting the bottom half
of the ball so you hit home runs? Yes, yes,
I mean that's really what's changed with with with baseball
players with their approach is is the fact that there's
there's money in the air. Look at and like track
(01:05:33):
his career and here's the guy that uh first year,
first year blowing up on the scene was in Oakland
home runs, home runs, goes to Toronto forty one home runs,
seven and thirty three. He had thirty three. And remember
last year, Uh he only playing a dred thirteen games,
(01:05:53):
so he was on pace for another forty home run year.
There's money in the air, kids, money in the air. Um.
I don't believe this story. I don't believe it for
one second. Matt Rule is the head coach at Baylor,
has been the coach for one year, and before that
he built Temple into one of the top teams in
(01:06:14):
the American Athletic Conference, according to Ian Rappaport and A
Matt Rule, who had who had interviewed for the Colts job,
said he intends to stay with the school. After interviewing
for the Indianapolis Colts job, Rules signed a seven year
contract with Baylor when he was hired to lead the
program out of the sexual assault UH scandal that rocked
(01:06:36):
the program under Art. Briles. Spent a year with the
New York Giants before returning to Temple. Take over program.
Was rumored as a candidate for the Giants vacancy in Denver.
Nothing came of it. In December, nothing came of it. Now,
according to Adam Rittenberg, things might have gone a bit
further as he interviewed with the Indianapolis Colts. Yeah, the Baylor.
(01:06:59):
Baylor Bears went one eleven in his first season. Are
in no way in hell he turned down the job,
like I'm sorry. I'm sure he interviewed for it. They
wanted to talk to him about it and see what
his vision was for it. He did a really good
job at Temple, and he's really well organized. But he
ain't like that. Ain't if they hired a Matt Rule,
(01:07:21):
who came off a one eleven season, like there's just
no way. There ain't no way. And that's like, that's
like Brett Brown getting fired after his first year with
the seventies six and sebody going like, hey, you know what,
you want to come coach the Lakers like that? That
doesn't that dog doesn't hunt. I don't buy that for
one second. Don't buy it for one second. What do
(01:07:45):
you think is the best job open right now in
the NFL? Is it the Colts? And then you also
have the Giants and the Colts? The whole thing with
the Colts is Andrew Luck. Nobody knows. I kind of
think the Lions is a really good job. You got
Matt Stafford, you know what you have? There are other
inherent issues with with the Lion's job, right I mean
(01:08:08):
the other issues are Vikings are really good, and the
Packers I think are going to be better and they
have Aaron Rodgers and you have Matt Stafford. And then
the Bears apparently appear to be on an uptick of
some of some level. Speaking of coaching hiring, did you
did you guys see this um? Do you guys know
(01:08:30):
the coach at Bay er. How's your pronunciation on ken Man,
I'm not good on this. Neo mat lolo nea matto lolo.
That's it. You nailed it. Great job, very good job.
That's Dan Buyer. Ladies and gentlemen, can we get a
round of applause for it was in my head, okacause
(01:08:52):
I was thinking about La la. But so, uh, what's
funny is so they have Khalil Tate is a quarterback
at Arizona. If you guys see him play, are yeah,
not much but enough when he's running down the sidelines
(01:09:13):
with the football. Okay, so he is a great running quarterback.
He has to learn to be a thrower, but he
is a great running quarterback. What's Here's what's funny about kids?
Right when I know they're kids. Khalil take went to
Twitter and says, I didn't come to Arizona to run
the triple option, right, You don't know what's funny. He
(01:09:35):
was running the option anyway last year like he was.
It wasn't under center, it wasn't the true triple option.
But that's the blocking scheme. A lot of the things
that that Rich Rodriguez is the uh is the is
the godfather? Yeah? Godfather? Of the zone read and he
has always specialized in running quarterbacks and that's what Khalil
(01:09:58):
Tate is. Khalil Tate, my mind is arguably the best
running quarterback in college football. I mean, he is an
absolute freak athlete. He is not a great thrower. So
when uh Nia not too Lolo was is rumored to
get the Arizona job, the current quarterback of Arizona said,
(01:10:19):
I don't. I didn't come to Arizona to run the option. Like, actually,
yes you did. You just didn't. You're not smart enough
to know that's exactly what you did, right. That's like
tyrod Tyrod Taylor did that this year where he was like,
you know, uh, I think people, you know, people stereotype
me as a running quarterback because I'm black. No, it's
(01:10:41):
because you're an excellent runner as a quarterback and you're
an average or below average thrower at best as a quarterback.
Has nothing new with black or white, Like that's who
you are. Like Cleil Tate, he ran for fourteen hundred
and eleven yards and didn't play the first two games
of the season, four hundred yards, twelve touchdowns, and he
(01:11:07):
didn't think he's an option quarterback. Excuse me. He didn't play.
He played a little bit in the first a little
bit in the second game, didn't play the third or
fourth game of the year. He didn't start until um
November seven, and he ran for four hundred yards. He's like, nah,
I'm not an option. I didn't come here to run
(01:11:28):
the option. Actually, yes, you did it just disguised. They
just put you in the shotgun. It's the same offense,
you dope. And by the way, mean not to Lola.
Would be amazing there because um, look he's Polynesian, and
when you're at Arizona, that would give you, like a
one lay a leg up on. There's lots of Samoan
(01:11:50):
Simonan players in Utah, or in Hawaii, or in Southern California,
San Diego, in Los Angeles, and they would all want
to play for the only Simon head coach in the
Pact twelve. It would actually like, dude, you would have
what was it, necessary roughness? Remember Carrie Ireland had the
Samoan dude who like protected her shower. I can't be
(01:12:14):
the only one who saw this movie problemost you know
necessary roughness, right? I know? The name of vacuum was
Scott vaculated. Scott Vaculud was a quarterback. Was the kicker,
Kathy Ireland. Kicker was Kathy Ireland? Right, Remember there was
a that was the woman a hot That's who though,
That's who Doug said was taking the shower. Remember you
(01:12:34):
remember she would have to shower after the game, and
and the huge Samoan dude would guard the door. Do
you remember that I saw it? So it's been about years.
It's the anniversary of Meat watching that movie. So it's
been it's been a while, remember. Okay, So the okay,
(01:12:58):
so the movie, the premise of them movie music. You
have any idea about this movie? I've heard people talk
about it, but I've never watched. Just say no, I've
heard people talk about this such a in the break
room earlier this week, people were talking about, well because
the Stonehand's thing on the herd, right, That's That's the
only time I've ever heard of it. So I've heard
(01:13:18):
of it. Okay, So here's the premise. Tell me if
you would watch this movie. Okay. The premise of the
movie is the team gets caught cheenees like s mu.
They have the death penalty. They cancel football, so they
gotta startup football with all walk ons, right, and they
hire a coach. It's Hector uh Lizondo whatever Alsondo. Hector Alsondo.
He plays ed straight arrow Gennaro right, everything by the rules.
(01:13:43):
And he goes out and he finds Paul Blake, who's
that's played by Scott Bacula, who's like, I should have
been a quarterback and I think he heard his knees
or something like that. Now he's like forty years old
and on the farm but never played, never played college football. Um,
Larry Miller, remember the comedian Larry Miller. He plays the
president who hates football. Sinbad's on the team. Rob Schneider's
(01:14:05):
the announcer, like it's actually a really Jason Bateman's on
the team. Is like a wide receiver. Um Featherstone is
the speedy wide receiver who can't catch. And he's like,
he's basically the Serranto character, right, remember Serrano with Major
League He's hitting all those home runs, Like, all right,
why hasn't anybody picked this guy up? And somebody those
in a curveball now said he can't hit a curveball. Well,
(01:14:25):
they see Dwayne Davis run, They're like, why has anybody
picked this up and they throw in the football. He
can't catch. Can't catch a football. That's why he's that
don't throw at the stone hands. His name is? His
name is Featherstone. Anyway, um Cathy Ireland is the kicker,
and there's a um a Samoan dude who's like the
starting center, who is like her protector. And like, if
(01:14:50):
I'm Clil Tate, I would show clear Tate that movie, like, look,
this is what your offensive line will be like all
a bunch of tough Samoan dudes that are awesome pe
pool that they'll simply all they want to do is
protect you and they will maul your opponent. I'd be like,
I'm in what's his name is? His name is um
(01:15:10):
Manu Manu Mana. It's like Manu Mana is the guy's
name in the movie. Anyway, Khalil Tate, I didn't come
to Arizona on the option. Well, I guess you weren't
running the right offense last year yet dope this season.

Otlip Show, Thomas Davis gonna retire after next season, and uh,
who's the other Greg Olsen also eying? I've been told
(01:16:13):
Greg Olsen, I poorly kept secret once the Monday night
football job would retire in a second. Uh if he
was offered it right. And those are the two guys
that because Dave Gettleman wouldn't offer them long term contract extensions,
they fired Dave Gettleman, the general manager who's now the
gentlemanagers of the Giants, and now Doug Gotling show Fox
(01:16:35):
Sports Radio. Every day at this time we play for
your portion of a previous show on Fox Sports one
er on Fox Sports Radio. In this case, First things first,
the show you can hear on serious XM channel eighty
three at six thirty am on the East Coast to
nine thirty am on the East coast. It has Chris Carter,
it has uh General Wolfe, and it has Nick. Right,
(01:16:58):
Chris Carter had this to say about the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now,
if you keep your eyes on the East, alright, Boston's
got eight more wins than them, all right, that is
significant in January. So that's why Nick said they're probably
gonna secure the number one seed or the Calves might
try to give it up like they did last year.
He's not concerned about Toronto, even after last night them
(01:17:19):
getting beat because Toronto hadn't been able to finish the
deal in the playoffs. But if he opened up his eyes,
he wouldn't be looking in the East because the real
competition has never been in the East. The competition is
in the West. And if he's watching Golden State and
if he's watching Houston, even though they do have injuries,
these teams right now, if they played the Calves, they
(01:17:40):
would sweep the Calves in four games. It would be ugly.
So I have concerned because the only goal for Lebron
in Cleveland, it's not a seed in the in the
Eastern Conference. You know, it's not one, two or three.
It's winning a championship. And they looked nothing like a
championship team. They don't look like a championship team. They don't.
(01:18:02):
I I can't find an argument with that. I would
also tell you it's in the middle of January, and
last year in the middle of January they went through
similar issues. Uh. I think one big difference is Lebron
has been playing every day and playing statistically well. Kevin
Love has been playing every day, and now they have
Isaiah Thomas. Last night was a debacle. Right, No, Kyle
(01:18:24):
Lowry and a GE League guard to backup guard combined
for twenty eight points. Right Lorenzo Lorenzo Brown comes out
of the G League. He plays well and and so
too does um what's his name, Fred Fred Fred Vanvley.
They combined for twenty eight points. Like you have terrible
point guard defense and you have terrible rim protection. Would
(01:18:47):
I would I make a move like the DeAndre Jordan
move is super super interesting. Here's it being proposed. If
Kobe Altman and Dan Gilbert are not meeting on this
right now, it's criminal, but they should be going to
the Clippers tomorrow and saying, Tristan Thompson and the Nets
pick for DeAndre Jordan's tomorrow. That has to be that
the number one priority for them over the next month.
(01:19:10):
Mhm um, look, I mean it's it's fascinating. Here's the
problem with taking DeAndre Jordan's. I like DeAndre Jordan more
than I think the common fan. The common fancies the
free throws and knows he doesn't have a post game
and be like, man, come up, but but but your
your defense would be a lot better. Your offense would
(01:19:33):
note your offense would not. And it's not just because
he's not a post score. It's because the way in
which he scores is pick and run to the rim
and we're gonna throw you a lob or drive in
and drop off and or we're drive in and we'll
throw you a lop. And that's just not how Lebron.
These guys play like. The issue is that Lebron on offense,
(01:19:56):
you want to surround him with as many guys that
can shoot as possible, But those guys that can really
shoot can't guard anybody, and the guys that can guard
somebody can't shoot. Kind of hard kind of hard. It's
like they have pieces that are better than the Warriors pieces,
(01:20:17):
but the Warriors pieces fit together much better. Yeah, go ahead,
you can hit, you can Yeah. No. To me, it
seems like when I hear you talk about this and
a lot of other basketball experts, it's always what can
the Calves do to match up better with the Warriors
to sort of close that gap? But the more I
(01:20:38):
hear everyone talk about it, it just seems like there's
not a whole lot that they could actually do at
this point, Like everything that they could do, like oh,
maybe trade this NETS pick for this player that player, Like, oh,
that might help. But it just seems like the way
that the Calves are set up their numbers against the cap,
the potential free agents they can get or trade, nothing
they can really do to all of a sudden them
(01:21:00):
in the same category as the Warriors. Correct. I mean,
like look, correct pretty much. I like, look, what they
have to do is they have to find somebody who's
who's trying to lose games, who has a pea, has
an interior defendend defending peace, or somebody in the middle
who would prefer to be in the lottery, who wants
that number one overall. Pick I means the problem with
(01:21:24):
Cousins is the Pelicans right now are in the playoffs.
Those guys want to keep their job. They gotta make
the playoffs. Like that, there's a general manager who is
trying to keep his job, Like you don't want Tristan Thompson.
He can't play for He's gotta win. He's gotta win
now now. So I don't see DeMarcus Cousins being the
answer to keep going, keep trying right, like Sacramento doesn't
have Sacramento with trying to lose. Brooklyn is trying to lose.
(01:21:46):
Is there somebody from Brooklyn that that you want? You
can't think of one. You know, the Atlanta Hawks are
trying to lose. There's nobody that that they have that
you want to that you want. And so you're running
now kind of out of options. You really are. As
conditions on the field change, So can your insurance needs?

the league. Um, and we'll get his thoughts on all
(01:22:52):
eight of these playoff teams, all four of these games,
and does he agree with me that the Eagles are
only mostly dead? The US to the Doug Olive Show.
What up, it's the Doug Otlive Show. I hope you're
having a great day getting ready for a great football weekend. Um,
there's a good football weekend right to each day to
(01:23:13):
Saturday to Sunday. And they both really mean something that's
pretty awesome, pretty awesome stuff. Uh. Adam Marchilta will join
us in moments, will get his thoughts on these games
as we get ready for the a f C and
NFC divisional games. Four games that are interesting that the
stories in and of itself are all super super interesting, right, Um,
(01:23:36):
the Titans are the least likely to win. I don't
think anyone I know is like, oh, I'm gonna pick
the Titans, Like, good luck with that one. Uh, this
is a long shot at the Kentucky Derby, you know,
hundred of one. Would you bet on it? It feels
like wasted money, not just because Tennessee allowed more points
than they scored in the regular season. And remember they
made it basically because you know, the Chargers didn't have
(01:23:59):
a kicker and they were five and one against a
putrid division Houston, all kinds of injuries, colds, all kinds
of injuries. That's four wins. You split with the Jags
who have no quarterback, and you end up five and
one division and you make you make you kind of
back your way in the playoffs. Uh. Plus they're on
the road in New England, where the Patriots have only
lost three times at home in the Tom Brady Bill
(01:24:23):
Belichick era three times, so it's unlikely. It's the most
unlikely other a f C game. More interesting because the
Jags have beaten the Steelers this year. They intercepted Big
Ben five times. Then the NFC, you have the Saints,
who are now a running team, but get the gift
(01:24:45):
of those they're on the road. They're in a dome,
which is much better news for Drew Brees. Bad news
is they're going against the nasty Vikings defense case Keenum
trying to prove himself all over again. And then you
have the Eagles, who are home dogs despite being the
number one seed, taking on the Atlanta Falcons that have
been on the road four of the past five weeks
and have had to just play for their playoff lives
(01:25:07):
over the last month and into the playoffs last week.
Let's bring it out of march Lettis and nfl Elands
for CBS. Make sure you tune into CBS for Titans
Pats a p m. Eastern Time on Saturday, Jags Steelers
one pm Eastern Time on Sunday. Arch Uh, let's start
in the a f C Okay and the Titans Pats game.
(01:25:28):
Can you see outside of Brady getting hurt? Is there
a formula for Tennessee to be successful? Um? Before I
Before I answer that, UM, I want to know who
do you dislike more, the Titans or Blake Bordles based
on your synopsis? Right there, Doug I'm just saying I
don't think Titans any good. I think I think they're
(01:25:49):
probably if you did power rankings for a f C teams,
I would put them behind the Chargers. Um. I know
the Raiders were dysfunctional mess this year, but they had
a lot more talent. I mean, look, if Houston's healthy
at all, they're better than the Titans. I just I
was never I've never won, at one moment been blown
(01:26:09):
away by the Titans. They won tended three are they? Uh?
They went and got a road win last week two
against the Kancie Chiefs, which is a great comform behind win,
and Mariotta was great. I just don't think he has
a supporting cast. Nor has the play calling been good
enough to see if he's really an elite quarterback yet. Yeah. No,
I'm with you. Um. Of the of the three games,
(01:26:31):
you know, the two games are really interesting and then
the the other two are not as interesting. You know,
the Titans, they've I wanted them to be good and
you look at them on paper and you say, this
should be a good football team. They should be a
really good football team. Are they an elite football team? No?
But they have underachieved this year. And I mean, I
think you hit it on the head. I don't know
(01:26:53):
if they've used their offensive players in the best manner,
the most efficient manner this season. Their receivers have of
a hard time getting separation from defensive backs that can
play man coverage. And you know, Derrick Henry has been nice,
but de Marco Murray was. I think he underachieved and
was underwhelming this season. So I think they're getting more
(01:27:13):
out of Derrick Henry, which is good for the offense.
And I think Mariota has taken a step back. So
you asked me what the formula is, Um, I'm gonna
say three things. I'm gonna say I'm gonna say four things. First,
they have to get out to a faster start defensively, offensively.
This is a slow starting football team. They've been a
(01:27:36):
slow starting football team for two seasons now. You can't
do it against the Patriots up there in New England.
First and foremost, you can't do that. I think everybody
knows that you've got to be able to put pressure
and hit Tom Brady. I do think they have the
capability of doing that on defense and on offense. It's
obvious they gotta run the football. But Mariota has got
to step up his game and he's got to play
(01:27:59):
my better, better than he's played this entire season. If
those things happen, I think they can make it close.
And they're gonna have to need some magic and some
turnovers and some things like that to happen. But I
think it's a very tall mountain that the Titans have
to climb. Does um Tom Brady is somewhat five picks
his last five games? Um? Or or going to the
(01:28:22):
last week of the season. You throw five picks the
last five games? Uh? Is there some slippage? There? Is
there something that people are confusing him with? You watch,
I mean from as an as an as an outstanding
defensive back, you see the game way differently than we do.
Give me your sense of why Brady turned the ball
over so often at the end of the season. Well, first,
(01:28:42):
what they're doing is I think it's been evident to
anybody that's watching their offenses. They throw it down the
field more this year than they ever have in the
last five seasons. Um. When you throw the ball down
the field with deeper routes, you're gonna have a tendency
to throw more interceptions. There's a reason why they call
it a you know, a three step conservative passing game.
(01:29:03):
Underneath it's safe. Um, So they're taking more shots, and
they've been successful taking more shots. I think that's part
of it. Um. The other part of it, I think
is just we've come to expect Brady to be perfect,
and when he's not, you know, he's not going to
be perfect every week. When he's not, you know, you
might say, oh, is he's starting to slip. Maybe I
(01:29:25):
gotta tell you when the game's on the line and
it's almost a foregone conclusion if they need to win
it in the fourth quarter, it's almost if everybody in
the stadium, including including the opposing defense, knows that they're
going to score. So yeah, so he's strown some interceptions,
but you put the game on the line in the
(01:29:45):
fourth quarter, and I don't think anybody's gonna bet against them.
Here's one thing that I want to point out that
the other thing the Titans have to have if this
is a close game, they have to have an answer
for Grounk. Because you mentioned the last five games when
the Patriots have been tight and they've been on the ropes,
(01:30:05):
Gronk has taken over Pittsburgh game, Pittsburgh had a chance,
Gronk took over in the fourth quarter. I mean they
fed Gronk over and over and over again. Nobody had
an answer for it. The first time Buffalo played, the
Patriots played a great game against Brady and wide receivers.
Second half, fourth quarter, Gronk took over. You go back
(01:30:26):
to the Super Bowl a few years ago against Seattle,
they had to make plays in the fourth quarter. It
was Gronk. If you don't have an answer for Rob
Gronkowski in the fourth quarter, you will not beat the Patriots.
And I don't know if the Titans have that answer.
All right, let's go to Pittsburgh. Taken on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Um,
they picked they picked him off? What eight five times?
(01:30:47):
Five times? Last time these two teams matched up, and
people are well, you know big Ben forced in their
play calling wasn't great. Uh give me your sense of
if the Jaguars can replicate that type of defensive pormance
against Big Ben. I absolutely think that the Jaguars are
capable of doing it against any quarterback. Defensively, Um, these
(01:31:08):
guys are legit, man. These these corners they read the
quarterbacks so well, um, they know the balls coming out.
They have four guys on their defensive line that have
over eight sacks. They have guys that come from the outside,
and they have guys that pressure up the middle. I
mean that's almost unheard of. So you know, Jalen Ramsey
and a J boy A playing with great confidence. The
(01:31:29):
Pittsburgh offense they want to run. They are really good
at running vertical routes. They have three receivers Bryant Smith,
Shooter and Brown that can all get vertical. They've got
three receivers that can all run after the catch in
the screen game. They've got Levian Bell who can do
damage against linebackers. So they they really have an offense
(01:31:50):
that can attack any single part of the field. So
you know that, to me, the matchup between the corners
and the receivers are going to be one of the
most fun matchups of all the playoffs in this game,
regardless of what the offense does in boardles. I can't
wait to see these guys play now the first time
they played. The difference between the first time they played
(01:32:13):
and where the Steelers are now is now they have
a third a legitimate third option. Beginning part of the year,
it all went through Brown and Bell, the offense through
bounding Bell. I'll tell you what I got a chance
to do the Pittsburgh game in week seventeen and Smith Schuster.
I think that kid is special. And the fact that
now they have a third option and a guy that
(01:32:35):
can work the slot, and they can do a lot
of things with crossing routes and verticals. Um, that makes
this offense dangerous. And when Ben has options and it's
not just Brown or Bell, he's got other guys. They're
pushing Martavis Bryant, it's a different offense that the Jaguars
are gonna have to stop in this football game. It's
(01:32:55):
not the same unit as it was earlier in the year.
But but I don't wait to watch the matchup, all right,
Adam March letter from CBS boards showing us in the
Doug Galic Show. Let's go to the NFC. The Philadelphia
Eagles are hosting Atlanta Falcons, and the Falcons seemed to
found a little bit more of a rhythm offensively with
their play calling, uh and the defense has been better
because of it. They're taking on the Eagles team that
(01:33:16):
was so good and then all of a sudden, the
offense when when when Wentz went down, they had the
one week where Folds through four touchdown passes and then
after that the offense just looked bad. Um, how much
is fixable? How much can the Eagles now home dogs
number one seed home dogs the Atlanta Falcons for a
wild card team, a Dome team is a favorite on
(01:33:36):
the road. You don't see this very often. How fixable
are the Eagles offensive issues? I don't. I don't think
they are very fixable. I think it is what it is. Look,
especially in this part of the year. Um, you need
something on your team needs to be able to provide
some magic, and something on your team has to be
able to be special. That was Carson Wentz. What do
(01:34:00):
you have thirty three touchdowns this year? That was the
magic formula. He was the He was the secret sauce
to that football team. And there's nothing against Nick Foles,
but it's just not the same. Um. They went from
one of the best big play, play action down the
field offenses in football to now one of the worst,
(01:34:21):
not only in the passing game, Doug, but in the
running game. They don't even run the ball they I
think they averaged something like sixty yards less per game
running the football without Wentz in the lineup. So I
just if the Eagles are gonna win, the defense has
to be magical. They have to be able to do something.
Now they're capable, they're a good unit. Jim Schwartz has
(01:34:42):
those guys playing, but then he's going against an offense
Um and Matt Ryan in the last two years in
the playoffs, he doesn't turn the ball over and they're
playing efficient football. So if the Eagles are gonna want
to win this game, then it's got to be from
the defense. And they've got to have not only play
a great game, but they've got to score. They've got
to get turnovers. They've probably got to win the turnover
(01:35:04):
battle by at least two, and then they've got to
turn those into points in my opinion for the Eagles
to have a chance. But it's all about Carson wentztog
How how are the Vikings doing this backup quarterback who
who looked overwhelmed last year, granted with a limited playbook
in in l A, but he's looked like a backup
at times even in Houston. Um, you know, backup running
(01:35:24):
back and you use your quarterback. You lose your running back.
You know, don't buy green bananas because you're not long
for this league. And yet the defense is so good.
And frankly, Feeling has been so good. Uh, he's even
overshadow Stefon Digs in many ways. How are the Vikings
doing this? I think it Honestly, I think it's incredible
and and what a big credit to that staff and
(01:35:46):
into them and that staff and into Pat Shermer. Um,
because you don't see this happen. And not only you know,
you lose your running back and now they have a
two headed monster back there. They're still running the football. Um,
they receive evers. You know, Feeling was a no name
a few years ago. You know, a question on whether
or not he could even play in this league. Um,
(01:36:08):
Digs is legit. But the way they've been able to
get Keenom to play, UM, I think it's real. I
don't think it's a flash in the pan. I think
he's demonstrated it the entire season that he has what
it takes. Um. The defense is lights out. So really
excited to watch this defense, uh in this upcoming game.
(01:36:28):
Now here's here's the one other I mentioned the Steelers.
The receivers versus the cornerbacks. The matchup in this game
Minnesota's defense against the running backs for New Orleans. Um,
that to me is is where it's at. Kamara and Ingram,
those guys if if they can get off and running
(01:36:50):
backs haven't had a lot of success against Minnesota, but
if they can get off, then I think they're gonna
have a pretty good chance at this game. But that
to me is the matchup within the matchup. Adam arshal
to NFL analyst for CBS. Check out their games this weekend, Titans, Pats, Jags,
Steelers Arch great stuff as always, Man, we'll check in
with you real soon, averybody. That's Adam Marshalletta joining us

(01:38:39):
Or is this from uh Well, it's labored here Doug
isn't Notorious b I G and slash Puffy, So I
think it's a bad boy production. But what is that?
What is that beat? Actually? Really? Dance by David Boye,
Let's dance. Put on the dance for me, Let's sway. Yeah,
(01:39:03):
a lot of a lot of beats, a lot of
sounds of songs that we've heard before. There's a there's
a song, Uh, what is it? There's Um maclamore song
good Old Days. You know the other song good Old Days.
I have to hear it to hear what the song is.
Buyer is a big rap guy about Buyer knowes Byer
knows Maclamore very very well. No I don't, but you're
probably being surprised how much I do know music. Do
(01:39:25):
you know McLamore? Are you McLamore guy? Yeah? Not really, Okay, No,
I mean look, he was big and then Seattle and
the sea superside the Seahawks are big. And then all
of a sudden he's like, Um, maclamore has a song
called good Old Days. And I was actually, where my son,
we've grown to like it, and um he was like,
(01:39:46):
what's it about? Dad? And I was like, look, it's
about how when he first started out as a rapper,
how the bus rides and all the crummy venues and
just trying to get people listen on how Um he
didn't know he you know, you're everybody's dreaming of being
rich and you know, performing on stage at huge events,
and you didn't realize that the moments you would miss
(01:40:09):
are those moments to which he didn't have anything. Right,
The getting there is the you know, the drive is
much more, is actually more rewarding than the destination kind
of thing. Right, So I was kind of using references
in my son's life, like, hey, it's really hard for
you right now in basketball, kind of playing against older kids,
struggle a little bit, but you're gonna look back and
(01:40:31):
go like, this are the good old days. I got
to my dad got to coach me, We got to
go to all the ball games together, like this is
actually fun. Of course, that was the that was on
the trip to the game in which I kicked him
off the bench because he was telling me that the
refs were the rest missed fouls and I told him
I was unacceptable. Anyway, Um, that song reminds me of
(01:40:53):
something I was going to tell you about, Like the
David Bowie song and that does that kind of song
that makes me think about the eighties, right, and I
know the like the eighties kind of get clowned and
there's a lot of goofy stuff. I was at dinner
in Portland, Oregon, a place called um shoot, oh man,
what is that place called? Have to look back through
(01:41:14):
my phone, and it was a little too uh, a
little too high falutint for me. It was like a
seven course meal, right, and they bring you like they
bring you like a little plate, like a very small plate.
They had a chef he prepared every little course for
everybody in the Restaurant's like two long tables in the restaurant,
(01:41:35):
probably like twenty people and you get like an hour
and a half to eat and they bring you a
glass of wine and a plate. Maybe it's five course.
I think it's seven courses, but seven courses, remember accunts,
the appetizer and the dessert whatever, And none of them
are big. There's no big portions, no real entree anyway.
So we so the best part of the restaurant was
(01:41:57):
not the meal or the wine or the food. It
was the background music and bay are you can this
actually does play? You're I think a little younger than me.
Do you remember this? Uh? Are you a Fast Times
at Ridgemont High? Guy? Do you remember the movie? Oh? Yeah,
I remember the movie. But Ramos you know the movie?
(01:42:17):
Of course? What is the opening song? Uh? When um,
she's getting picked up by the older guy that she's
dating and they go to like a dugout and make out. Yeah,
demon Demon and uh, I forgot Jennifer Jason Lee's character. Yes,
you remember the song? Was it? I thought he liked
to play? Uh, Physical Graffiti's Kashmir said, I think that's
(01:42:41):
what he But the song in the um, what's it called?
Like the playlist for the movie. The soundtrack was She's
Gonna Be Babe? Didn't that right? And so that was
playing and I'm like and immediately I think of that song,
and I'm like, Fast Times Richemond High, Jennifer Jason Lee
(01:43:03):
first movie I ever saw a woman's breast in true story,
true story, other than my mother, which I don't claim
to have seen my mother's breast him anyway. Anyway, Anyway, Um,
I hear David Bowie sign and I think of the
(01:43:24):
eighties and I think of how much like at the time,
like you're a little kid, and there are things you
hate your clown about the era, and it was the
good old days. These were kind of cool, man, they
were cool. They were cool. Acid washed jeans. Are those
ever going to come back in? I think they're coming
back now, are they? I think the dark jeans are
on their way out. Seen more light lighter jeans as uh,
(01:43:44):
the days go on. But the acid wash had like
the streaks, didn't they They kind of had the the
little acid streaks in it or whatever. And then and
then did you peg your g what do they call
when you roll up your jeans roll? We called him
pegging here. That's where um was a tough one for you. Music. Okay,
So you'd wear jeans you buy jeans are a little
bit too long, and then you would kind of fold
(01:44:06):
it over a little bit and then you would roll
them up. And that's how. And you know, they especially worked.
Remember the first Reebok high tops. They were like fitness shoes.
They would really work with those. Man, this is eighties stuff, alright. Sorry,
I don't know why I got completely diverted from the
story I want to get to. I think people like
the eighties. I think it's you know I love the eighties.
I think you'd be shocked born and you were born
(01:44:28):
in the eighties. Wait, Big Mike's bringing me coffee with here.
I started talking about the eighties, and Mike's like, dude,
I was. I had all my hair in the eighties,
like thirty pounds lighter in the eighties, right, my big Mike, Mike,
Mike saying I'm number one. That's not that's not how
(01:44:50):
we do number one, Mike. We don't use that finger.
All right. I want to draw a correlation between what
happened in Buffalo today and what could happen in Pittsburgh
on Monday. We'll get to that. Let's get to Dan
Buyer prior to the eighties. Born in the seventies a
year in a day. So you're born on the sixteenth
or in the four team, Well that would be the sixteen,
(01:45:11):
because then I'd be less than a year if I
was on the four team. My sister's very very good,
very good point. Happy birthday to your sister early. Alright.
I will be here on your birthday next Tuesday, and
i'll be here on your birthday on Monday. I'll be
in Miami, all right. You won't be here. I'll be
on but I we'll just have to eat all the
cake without you. You guys order a cake. Hey, it's
(01:45:34):
Doug's birthday. Let's order. I'll do that very big Mike
probably something like right, this is like a cappuccino anyway.
And that's the latest. No Um Steelers won receiver Antonio
Brown miss practice today. He's sick, not because of the
calf muscle issue that seems to be in the past,
because he practiced all week. Hold on, Dan, you want
(01:45:56):
to make sure as most of you know who listened
to the show, Uh what what day was it? Wednesday
was an abject disaster because my voice was giving me issues.
I had fought off a little bit of something. I
did not kiss Antonio Brown and give him. Okay, let
make sure that's clear that's out there, that that's good.
But he expects to be out there Sunday against the
(01:46:17):
Jaguars despite that illness. Now, these Saints want to have
wide receiver Brandon Coleman. He's out against the Vikings because
of a neck injury. Panthers on'backer Thomas Davis till the
NFL Network will be his last season in the NFL.
VIC Fangio returning to the Bears is their defensive coordinator
getting a three year deal. And I know a topic
you're about to discuss. The Bills dismissing offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.
(01:46:40):
Warriors guard Steph Curry out tonight against the Bucks because
of a sprained ankle. Jazz guard Rodney Hood find thirty
five grand for slapping the phone out of the hand
of a fan at hand following his ejection on Wednesday.
Some baseball players avoiding arbitration. Josh Donaldson gets twenty three
million dollars on a one year deal from the Blue Jays.
There is money in the air and cups their basement.
Chris Bryant, it's his one year deal, ten point eight
(01:47:02):
five million dollars. Okay, So Brian's in his what fifth year?
That the first year our arbitration ears. Yeah, okay, remember
remember how this works in Major League baseball? Right, So
in Major League Baseball, your first four years you're under
complete club control. You make like nothing. And when we
say nothing, like really your first year you make very
very little, like a couple hundred grand, and it grows
(01:47:23):
to uh several hundred grand by your fourth year, and
then your fifth year your arbitration eligible. And I believe
Chris Bryant ten million dollars a lot of money for
arbitrations with your first time around then your second time around, uh,
that you can be arbitration. But again, and that's where
Josh do Allenson. I believe this is second year of
arbitration eligible, and I think that's a new record three
million dollars. Yes, it is. Wow, that's really that. That's
(01:47:45):
interesting and it seems like a ton of money and
it is. But if you think about it, at this
point his career, he should be signing a long term
deal that's worth in the hundred and fifty plus million dollars,
you know, five six years whatever. This is when um uh,
you know Bryce Harper next year wants to sign a
deal worth you know, more than three d four hundred
(01:48:06):
million dollars when he becomes arbitration eligible. We'll see what
happens with that great stuff from Dan buyer. Will hear
from him with the press in a second? His conditions
way wait, wait, let me get to this one. This Uh,
I was I had a right good as the conditions
on the field change, So does your insurance needs talk
with a Farmer's Agent today so you can assess whether
your policy is game ready. Find agent Farmers dot com.
(01:48:27):
Are Farmers Hey? By the way, Dan Buyer and I
know you have other work to do, and I'm completely
dragging you into co hosting the show. Um we are?
Are Are you working on your golf game to playing
this program? Are you just gonna win it? I know
you're a really good golf No, I'm not. That's the
scary thing. I really like golf, but it just doesn't translate.
I'm gonna try to Uh. Yes, Uh. I went to
(01:48:48):
the range a little bit yesterday before work, and we'll
do so this weekend. Try to get things shaped up
for Tory Pines. But there are no promises for anything.
You a few bad shots. Yeah, I heard they're put
you with Tiger. Uh. Dan and I are gonna be
playing at the pro am at the Farmers Insurance open. Uh.
(01:49:08):
That is in Tory Pines. Beautiful Tory Pines. So it's
gonna be awesome. The great folks at Farmers having us down.
We are super super excited. He mentioned Rick Dennison, and look,
I don't know if Rick Dennison's any good, but this
is a lot like music. You told me this earlier
this week. It was great. Right, It's like it's like
the chef that like the chef getting fired because uh,
(01:49:30):
you know, because the steak wasn't wasn't super tender. You're like, hey,
you didn't bring me any prime meats. You know, this
is what happened in Carolina. Carolina fired their offensive coordinator,
Mike Schula. Mike Shula was our offensive coordinator three seasons
ago when they were the number one seed and only
lost one game of the regular season. Cam wh the
m v P, same offensive coordinator, personnel has changed canvas, regressed,
(01:49:56):
offensive lines not as dominant. But you fire the offensive
called Rick Dennison. They get to the playoffs and like
Tyrod Taylor is not good. He's not terrible, but he's
not good. And you can say, all right, well, maybe
this was one year. Dennison had been the league for
a long time. He comes to work for Sean McDermott
and it just didn't work, Like okay, but it feels
(01:50:18):
like it just feels like the Bills are like, look,
you can't score one stinking touchdown. They got Blake Bortles,
we got fuel position, and I would I would probably say, like, look,
in addition to Tyrod Taylor, Tyrod Taylor not being great,
(01:50:40):
you know what really got him fired didn't give the
ball to Shady McCoy six times goal to go, didn't
give him the ball once. Now, in Rick Dennison's defense,
at least two of those plays were were uh read
option plays where r p O s where Tyrod Taylor
could hand the ball off and chose not to. All So,
(01:51:00):
in Rick Dennison's defense, Shade McCoy did not look sound,
did not look healthy, but they fired him. And I
think that's what could happen in Pittsburgh. Like, if you're
the Pittsburgh Steelers, think about this. Todd Haley, right, he
has the weird New Year's incident where he shatters his
(01:51:21):
what his pelvic bonus on his pelvis, He gets a
little drunk, he said he got shoved. It's a very
shady story. If if they don't play well against the
Jacksonville Jaguars, like, don't be stunned if changes heads don't roll,
it's out of a complete lack of respect for Blake Bortles.
(01:51:43):
Let's just be honest and Blake Bortles can say like, hey,
nobody respects me, and he's right, He's right. I tried.
There was three weeks he put together that we're really good,
and then I looked at the teams that he put
them together against and like, yeah, those teams just suck.
(01:52:04):
If you lose to a Blake Bortles, lad team, heads
are going to roll. Whether it's real or perceived. There's
a lack of respect for Blake Bortles ability to to score,
to move the football. And so now if you're the
Pittsburgh Steelers, levy healthy dose of Levian belt doesn't matter
that this is actually a really good matchup for the
(01:52:25):
for the Jaguars, right, Jags, really their linebackers can really
cover Levian out of the backfield. Jalen Ramsey's a shut
down corner like they got good he and boo ye,
those guys are both really good. Like they have very
good personnel. They're very well coaching the defensive side of
the football. But it's out of a lack of respect
for Bortles and that offense that if the Steelers lose,
(01:52:48):
you watch heads a roll Monday. I guarantee it this season.

get after. Let's get some picks. Shall we the somehow
(01:53:30):
still employed John Ramos with the sound Doug Gotlip Show,
Fox Sports Radio. We kid, we kid, we kid. Let's
get to the Saturday game, shall we? Atlanta taking out
in Philadelphia Open Air. Uh. Eagles have had a week
off to prepare. Falcons have been fighting for their playoff lives.
I've been telling you for the last couple of days.
Something about this Eagle team makes me think that they
(01:53:51):
feel like they belong here. Right, But there are three
point dogs at home. I take a breath, and I
look at it, and though I should love the home dog,
I should If you're a three point dog at home,
that means Vegas thinks you are six points worse the
Atlanta Falcons three points for home field, all right. They
(01:54:14):
have a better running game with Atlanta Falcons. They have
better passing game with Atlanta Falcons, and I don't think
the defense is all that far behind. I just can't
buy into Nick Foles. He looked like a deer in
the headlights. He's driving somebody else's car. You know you
ever given to some anywhere else's car and the seat
is not right, and the mirror is not right right,
It just never fears right. It's not your car. I'm
(01:54:35):
gonna take the Atlanta Falcons to win and to cover
Tennessee's taken on New England. New eng is a thirteen
and a half point favorite, and there is not amount
of money that I would bet on the Tennessee Titans
against the money line. On the other hand, how Alba,
did you see what the temperature is gonna do. It's
rainy and sloggy and New sloggy in New England at
eleven o'clock in the morning, It's supposed to be fifty
(01:54:58):
one degrees um, but it's supposed to be below twin
degrees at kickoff and ten degrees by the time the
end of the game comes round. That's gonna be windy.
That's gonna be nasty. That's gonna be really hard to
throw the football. And I know that Tom Brady is
a great cold weather quarterback, but that signals to me
what Tennessee is gonna try and do is take the
air out of the football. They're gonna run it, run it,
(01:55:19):
run it run. They're gonna try and shorten the game.
You have Tom Brady only eight or so possessions that
will be successful, but they won't win the game. Tennessee
will cover the thirteen and a half. Sunday, the Jacksonville
Jaguars take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. I don't love Blake Bortles.
I don't know Blake portals. Blake Bortles is not a
friend of mine. Senator. It's a seven point line. If
(01:55:41):
I get seven in a hook, I'd love it. But
I'm just gonna like Jacksonville to cover Pittsburgh to win.
I think this is gonna be a great football game.
I really really do not crazy to go Jacksonville on
the money line because the number is so big and
Jacksonville has won there before. Jacksonville has got an elite defense.
Jacksonville can run the football, they can't throw the football.
That is problematic. And I think they can take Levian
(01:56:02):
Bell out of the game. I don't know if they
can take Levian and Antonio Brown out of the game.
That's an issue. I'll take Pittsburgh to win Jacksonville to cover.
By my estimation, the most overrated quarterback in the playoffs
is Drew Brees. It's not that Drew Brees hasn't been
great through his career, but Drew Brees is not the
Drew Brees of old. That's why they took a lot
(01:56:24):
of the pressure off him this season with a running game,
and that doesn't signal great stuff for me. When you're
taking on the Minnesota bike like that, it's indoors for
the Saints, but I don't like the fact that you're
playing against this level of speed, this level of athleticism,
with this amount of time to prepare for the Saints.
I think that the Vikings win. The Vikings cover the
five point line. Those my picture there, it is five NFL.
(01:56:49):
Let's go five college five for five with Doug Godley.
As conditions on the field change, so can your insurance needs?
Talk with the farmer's agent today so you can ask
with your policy. Is game ready? Find an agent at
farmers dot com. We are Farmers. Let's get to the
press the press buyer, Dan Buyer, what do you have
(01:57:18):
from me? Million? Well, you touched on it a little
bit earlier. But Panthers on'backer Thomas Davis telling the NFL
network that he will retire after the season. Pretty amazing
when you think of Davis's career, considering how far it
went after some knee injuries early in his career. But
Thomas Davis gonna hang him up next season? Like Thomas Davis,
great leader, good george bulldog. Uh. I kind of think
(01:57:40):
he's a little bit washed. I do. Um god suspended
this year obviously for that nasty crushing hit on was
that Judus Miith Schuster? Who know who's that on? I
can't remember who that hit was on. Davante Adams, right,
Davante Adams, Dvante Adams. Um, but I think he's been
a very very good aball player, A borderline hall of
(01:58:01):
Fame caliber football player. But I think he should have
retired this year because what happens is, uh, if you're
talking about retiring at the end of next year, you
know your skills have diminished, and they go really really quick.
They can even go mid season. Remember broke his arm
in that NFC Championship game and then yeah, still played
in the Super Bowl. Cardinals Cardinal's wide receiver Lary Fitzgerald
(01:58:21):
says he still hasn't decided if you will retire this
offseason or return for next year playing in a golf tournament.
Of course, the future of the Cardinals coaching staff and
quarterbacks still up in the air in Arizona. Am I
crazy to think this is a crazy statement. I might
be the best wide receiver I've ever seen, and I'll
tell you why. I know. Jerry Rice was a better
(01:58:43):
true quick wide receiver, but the ability mid career to
change and be willing to go in the slot right
and then kind of like Hines, Wood has also become
a very good blocker, and he's done with a lot
of bad quarterbacks as well. Like Jerry Rice, the rules
were less stringe on holding and grabbing whatever, but he
also played with Joe Montana and Steve Young and then
(01:59:06):
with rich Gannon in Oakland, like he played with some
awesome quarterbacks and awesome systems. You can't say that for
Larry Fitzgerald. I don't know. I'm a huge Larry Fitzgerald fan,
but I would if they don't. If they don't, you know,
get a veteran quarterback, Like if it's an Alex Smith,
do you come back for everybody's like, oh Alex Smith? Like,
when has he made life for a wide receiver better?
(01:59:28):
He's great for tight ends and great for check down
for running backs. But you know, for David Johnson when
he returns from injury, I'm Larry Fitzgerald. I need somebody
who gets me the rock. But he's had an incredible,
incredible career. Newsday reports that the Giants have three finalists
for their coaching vas Matt Patricia, Josh McDaniels, and Pat Shermer.
(01:59:50):
But Newsday also reports Giants you don't say, but you
gotta say, however, have a mystery candidate, a sleeper candidate
as well. Possibly if one of the if and none
of the three workout, they could go to this sleeper candidate.
But there is a mystery candidate out there to coach
the New York Giants. Mystery can I hate mystery cannons.
(02:00:13):
That reminds me of what's the baseball agent, Uh that
has all the high price players, Scott Scott Bors. Scott
Boors always has a mystery team. Right. Oh, there's a
mystery team that's been five hundred jillion dollars for my players.
You gotta match that. The mystery candidate has to be
a current head coach who still coach in the playoffs,
doesn't it? And I think there's only one guy that
(02:00:34):
could be it is John Payton. Think about it. Drew
Brees is a free agent. I don't know what what
you know, but uh, he wants to get paid handsomely.
Sean Payton's also a Bill Parcels guy. Bill Parcels pulls huge,
huge weight or could the could it be Bill Belichick? Right?
Bill Belichick close to the maras and there's the Yeah,
(02:00:56):
there's this supposed split between the Crafts and him. I
don't know this those two mystery candidates. Okay, so let's
move on to the next story. Bill Spurs head coach
Gregg Popovitch told my San Antonio dot Com that la
Marcus Aldridge asked for a trade this offseason. Pop said
that had never happened in his career. Then he made
an effort to change some of the offense to utilize
Aldridge's strengths. Popovich says he was the one that needed
(02:01:19):
to do some adjusting, maybe not Aldridge. You know what
Pop said, Advice can change. You can chase we All's good.
Change a little rocky flour for you. It's funny. I know.
Steph Curry tonight for the Warriors out against the Bucks
because of a sprained ankle. Will he played Monday when
(02:01:41):
they play against the Golden they play against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I'm gonna say no, I think no, Yeah, I'm gonna
say he plays. Finally, twenty year old Shane Missler of
Florida came forward today as the winner of the four
hundred and fifty one million dollar Mega mill Ian's jackpot.
(02:02:01):
Missler tweeted a week ago today when the drawing was held,
Oh my god, that was his tweet. Needed a week
to clear everything up, but Doug will take home a
lump some payment of two hundred and eighty one point
eight million dollars. Oh my god. Bag it out there
and press. That was the press. What would you buy? Ramos?
(02:02:24):
One thing? First thing everything? I buy a new car?
What car? I would like a Lexus? What kind alexis?
You wanna go big John? You just like it would
be the like the family one, the what is it?
The suv? Kind of suv one? Okay, the five seventy,
(02:02:46):
the big Daddy? What about you write music? One thing
you'd buy, I'd go house in Malibu, in Mali, on
the sand, on the sand, what you can hear? What
you get this? I was gonna say homes, but I
was going to make a plural. I'd go buy a
country Yeah, one of those by Lexus, one of those
(02:03:07):
ones that the president was talking about those is that?
Is that that one of the ones you're talking about? Uh? Yes,
I would as well house, country car. Honda has a
new plane. By the way, only four and a half
million dollars. This is the Doug Gotlip Show. Have a
great weekend.
