This is the best of Stu Gottson Company Live on
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
We are at the American Century Championships. Our buddy Trey
Wingo is here. I am insanely jealous because Trey Wingo
got the invite to play in this tournament. Jesus am
I jalous. It's like Anderson Cooper when he realized that
George Stepanopolis was invited to the Kelsey wedding. Yeah, well
you got an invite and I didn't.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Well, it's probably I probably got the invite because Travis
is on his honeymoon.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
If I'm being honest about it.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I think I Well, what was John Daily in the
ninety one PGA the ninth alternate? Yes, I may have
been the thirty second alternate, but I do not care.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I am here and I'm playing. Do you wonder the
amount of names and what the names are that they
called before they got to Trey wing doesn't matter now,
doesn't you're here, baby. If I wasn't here, it really matter.
But I'm here, so that's all that matters. I know
how good of a golfer you are. No, I've seen,
I played with you. I mean, we had the whole
thing down in North Carolina Pinehurst, and you're fantastic. Therefore,

(01:12):
I am putting no pressure. I'm putting a flyer. I'll
try winging to win this thing.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
To find a fly A little sprinkle, a little sprinkle,
you know, do me a favor. Yeah, whatever that sprinkle is,
stick it out of your wallet and let them out.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
That's what McDonough said. You will enjoy it better that way.
It'll it'll at least it'll give you the pleasure of
slow burn come.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Bus instead of the slow implosion over three days.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I have one goal.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
I played in a tournament two weekends ago with a
bunch of these guys already fished Joe Peelski, Taylor twelve, and.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
All the really good guys.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yes, I had one goal, do not finish DFL and
I finished twenty ninth out of thirty six. I beat
five professional athletes and two broadcasters.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Very happy, goal accomplished. I was very happy.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I can if I can redo that here. I'll be
very duplicated. I'll be very very happy.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Twelve men's annoying, right, because he's really good, and he's
the guy who says, I played to you, Hey, I
played twice in the last six months.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Marty is the worst though, among those lines like he
played around with Jack about a year ago and Jack said,
why weren't you a professional correct golfers? I was busy
being a professional tennis player, And Jack said you chose
the wrong profession, and that people about Marty they didn't
understand Marty played tennis right handed, but he's a natural
left hand or replays.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Golf left handed. Yes, he's so fricking annoying. Yes, so good.
He's the best non professional golfer I've ever played, That's
what Jack said. Jack said, the best non PGA player
I've ever played golf. Absolutely remarkable. So I was sitting
down and I was privy to a conversation you would
Taylor were having about the World Cup. Yes, and so
I will ask the question that Taylor asked you right
before we got started here. Did Argentina win that game

(02:47):
or did Egypt lose the game?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I think Egypt lost it. I mean, look, you give
up three goals. They had a two mil lead in
the seventy eighth minute, right, somehow it didn't even get
to extra time. Okay, that's That's like the twenty twelve
Open Championship at Royal Livem in Sant Anne's. Adam Scott
was four up with four to play and it didn't
even go to a playoff. That's completely collapsed. And kudos

(03:12):
to Argentina. I mean, they did what they had to do,
but you're up two nil and you're almost in the eightieth.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Minute, finish it, finish it.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
And I know that that goal probably shouldn't have been
taken away, but you still got the two nil lead.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
After that, Egypt just.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Choked on a chicken boon between that goal being overturned
by Vaer and in the France Morocco game, the entire
referee and crew is from Argentina. Trey, what do you
think about people that are saying FIFA stands for fix
it for Argentina, for people.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
That are outraged people said.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
These two here, But when I find it hilarious that
people like, oh, I'm so outraged by FIFA.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
How have you not been outraged for decades? Right, because
it impacts us. Hey, how have you not been out?
This is who they are.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Any year in sports, there's only three entities on the
corruption podium. Yes, the NCAA, the IOC and FIFA.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
It's gold, silver and bronze. It just depends on what
year you want it to. Holy Trinity of corruption.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Holy Trinity of absolute Paola Scandal. I mean, there's a
great Netflix series four parter about FIFA and how the
how Cutter got the World Cup bid in twenty twenty two.
They were just throwing cash. I mean, it's it's a
ridiculous organization. So for people I can't believe FIFA did this,
then you haven't been watching. If you were, If you're

(04:36):
watching the World Cup and you don't expect this to happen,
then that's on you.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
That's on you.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Yes, it was bizarre that when they reversed the flau
Balgan red card. Yes, set Bladder coming out being like
this is corrupt, and it's like, dude, Set Butter, you
made a career off being corrupt.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Dude, do we want to go back and talk about
the money that you gave to the federations in Africa
and CONCACAP, Hey do whatever you want for your football iteration.
Most of it stayed in the pockets of the people
that got the money. So I don't want to hear
it from him. By the way, sept bladder, Yes, that
just sounds like a disastrous urinary disease, and I just.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I'm not having it from him. I'm not having it
from Taylor. Put that on the pole. The sept bladder
sound like a terrill. How'd you phrase it? A disastrous
urinary disease? A disastrous ladder six times a night. Man,
it's awful. You walk out of the doctor's office shaking
your head. You're like, oh man, your wife says, well,
what the doctor say? I got sept lad I got
set ladder.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
On the topic of the US men's national team, yeah,
there's been no confirmation if if poach Chino will come
back yet. Yeah, you guys will never guess who Danny
Canal suggested to be the next US men's national.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Well, if it's on brand, let me guess Deion Sanders. Wait,
hold on, let's let's let's stady you for a second.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Was it Nope?

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Okay, close though, So Danny Canal has suggested a new
coach for the US men's soccer team. Is it a
football not not football?

Speaker 5 (05:59):
But if a football coach and a football court Shaban Noe,
who recently has done a great job changing the culture
at a school.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
That Indiana Kirk and that's.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Magic Kirksinnetti on the US men's national team sideline in my.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Work, might as well put in ten last.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
And Danny is the great artist of this, Like, oh,
we don't send our best athletes there?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
What imagine if Lamar Jackson and Miles Garrett.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
No, Lamar Jackson's skill set and Miles garrett skill set
don't necessarily translate to soccer.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
That's not how this works.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
That's like saying, oh, well, we're terrible at baseball, we'll
put in Michael Phelps.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
He wins all the gold medals in swimming. That's not
how this works. Okay, that's not how any of this works.
That's the stupidest argument of all time. Twenty years ago,
when Lebron James came into the league, you were still
at ESPN. You would do it Sports Center, you would
do it some radio. If I told you twenty years later,
he'd still be holding NBA fans hostage, and the NBA

(06:54):
we'd still be interested in where Lebron is going to
end up. You would have told me what this is crazy?
It is, but I want to be clear, I'm not interested.
You've lost it. J mean.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
My point is, you know how when someone says I've
decided to retire, it really means you've been retired, like
you've been out of the league for a couple of years.
Whether it's NBANFL I'm going to announce my retirement, Bro,
you were retired.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yes. Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
So when he told the Lakers say you should move
on without me, they had already moved on. Okay, he's
just changing the phrasing.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
It's already moved on.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Look, God bless him. He's an unbelievable player. He'll never
be Jordan. I'm sorry, it's not even close. It's not
a debate. I do the power of six to the
fourth when it comes to this debate. Michael Jordan's six
NBA finals, six championships, six finals, MVPs and never got
past a game six. It's just that simple. Yes, and
he's a better defensive player. Yes, Lebron has more points.

(07:48):
He's played longer. How much easier to score points now
than it was in the Jordan Eras of the eighties
and nineties. Numbers out of context are just numbers. You
have to put things in contextual situations that make sense.
Mychaels the greatest of all. Lebron is one of the
greats of all time. But no, it's Michael and then
it's everybody.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Well, when you say you don't care, when you were
at ESPN, you were forced to care. That is correct.
Now you get to choose what you care about. That
is correct. This is why this is much better, and
this is not one of them. Correct. I do not
Whatever happens, great, go for it, live your life. Yes,
call me when you know you want me to call you. Yes,
I would enjoy that.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
In fact, there was one summer It was about this
time when Lebron announced he was going back to Cleveland
and they were trying to get all here's how funny
things worked.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
At ESPN at times. You can appreciate this.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I think it was somebody from the Sports illustrator. Somebody
had the story and it was Lebron's own words. Yes,
I'm going to this and they're getting their NBA guys,
can you confirm this? I'm like he's already confirmed it,
Like why do you need one of our NBA insiders
to confirm what Lebron James has already said?

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yes, so they could say an ESPN NBA inside exactly.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
And at that point they canceled the NFL Live and
I said, thanks Lebron or Herman.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I went and played thirty six. I love that. I
love it, absolutely loved.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
I cannot care about everything all the time anymore. And
kudos to those people that can also seek immediate health.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
It's like Christopher mad Doug Russo, if I don't watch
a game, he says, you're a bad sports fit. Okay,
well you would enjoy your life.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
No.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
He does the same thing to Taylor twelve Men and others.
They're like, no, we're sports fans. We're just not crazy
like you are. Keanu Reeves has a great line. I'm
at the point in my life if you want to
say two plus two equals five, have at him. I
do not care if that. If that gets you going,
good for you. Yes, I'll let you. I'll let you
have that stage. Did you enjoy US soccer though for
a moment, for a minute.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
Listen, the first game was awesome. They really looked and
we thought, powered, why might have been bad. That Parauay
actually played pretty yeah, yeah, so I thought that was
a good indication. They were a little nervy in the
second half against Australia, but they had that gigantic defenseman
who looked like you know Mafra back then.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yes, but they just they weren't ready.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
As much as it about anything else, they proved they
weren't ready for the moment.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You could tell.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
You can tell when guys aren't ready for that event,
and they weren't.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Why weren't they That's a great question.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
I don't think the whole flow balloon thing helped them
in any way, shape or form.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Sure, they might have played better if they didn't have him, right,
I don't know, put a target on him. It exactly is, and.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
It's certain Belgium was certainly motivated. You see what they're overturned.
This was their Instagram apostom is they did the dance,
all that kind of stuff. Yes, but our players weren't ready.
It's just that simple. And how do they get ready?
I don't I don't know the answer to that.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I don't think anyone knows the answer to that.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
You know, be sure to catch live editions of Stu
Godson Company Live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
But it is funny that because I feel like when
you know, when the president makes a call to the
head of FIFA on your behalf, then you've arrived as
a soccer country. You know, I agree into the corruption
or we're just following along the FIFA path. Baby, how
do we get done? What are you excited about with
the NFL, because we have now all shifted officially from
soccer to the nl You've already been there.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
It's in our two and a half week list season
where we're getting a lot of lists out. The greatest
one of the other ones, which was hilarious that I
can't sure who it was, but it was the greatest
trio of receivers or pass catchers to have all have
a thousand yards in the season.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I'm like, man, we are reaching, Yes, we are reaching
right now. We are ready for foot Welcome to June July.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, I'm just I'm just curious to see if anybody's
going to stop the rams. I was talking to Wit
on the range over there, Aaron Donald may really come back.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
I think he's going to come back.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
You put Aaron Donald like some Miles Garrett with that
prolific offense.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
They already have honest team that should have been in
the Super Bowl. Last year, the only.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Team that could score on Seattle from the middle of
the season on was the Rams. No one else could
score on them, and the Rams put up points of Palosa.
Now you give them a little bit of a defense,
it's going to be tough. It's gonna be ubbing the
Super Bowls.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
It's so far. If you're Aaron Donald, why wouldn't you
come back? Like he's kept himself in shape obviously, and
to play next to that guy that's insane.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Well, something Wit said was really interesting. It's like, you know,
Aaron's not a halfway guy. Like I don't think he's
one of these guys that would come in at like
week eight and say, yeah, I'll come in for the
stretch round. He's either all in or he's not right.
So Witt said, he's out there training with his guys
right now to see if he can still be you know,
King Kong Superman.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Sure, and if he can do that, I think he's
going to be their Week one. Wondering if you agree
with this, I think the Giants are going to be
sneaky good because of the new coach, because I like
Jackson Dart, because I think they've drafted fairly well. If
neighbors can get healthy, I think they're gonna be a
good And that division's kind of wide open. There's questions
with every single team in that division.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Yeah, except I think Philly and Dallas are going to
be really good this year, do you? And I almost
hate to say that because I do not like Jerry
Jones as a general manager. It's done a terrible job.
But he's listened this offseason and I think they're going
to really be good this year.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
And I think the Eagles are still going to be good.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
I think it's an addition by subtraction getting aj Brown
out of there, because that was clearly poisonous for a
variety of reasons.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Jackson Dart scares me a little bit, and camp' skataboo.
I don't know how he can function as a human.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
I'm not sure how this is gonna work down the
path for him.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Did Look.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
I love Harbaugh and I think dark they need to
stop calling as many running plays for dark. Sure he's
not Lamar Jackson, right, I mean it's it's gonna end badly,
sooner rather than later.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yes, some guys know how to avoid those hits. He
does not know. It's like, well, I'm going to take one. No,
that's dumb.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Yes, I love your brave heart mentality, You're really it's.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Dumb for the team. Yes, His teammates are begging him
be stop taking the best smarter about that stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Yes, so yeah, maybe I just think Dallas and Philadelphia
are going to be really, really good this.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Year, Trey.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
What do you make of the Brandon Aiyuk situation in
San Francisco?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Someone take his phone away from you.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
He's on the Commanders and now he is seemingly fighting
with Jayden Daniels, and Jaden Daniels is messaging him back saying,
enjoy retirement, pal.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Yeah, this is Look, everyone knows he's not gonna pay
for the forty nine ers, right, everyone knows that because
they're done with it. But now, like people like the
Commanders are saying, well, we know you're cutting them, so
why don't you just cut him? I'm like, no, we're
gonna keep him, and you're gonna give us something it's like, no,
I want it, No, I want it, you know, he said,
She said kind of thing. Yes, you touch me first. No,
I touched you for It's like two kids fighting in

(14:17):
the back seat of her car, right who started?

Speaker 3 (14:19):
He did, no, she did. That's where they are right now.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
But Brandon Ayuk, really, if I'm his agent, and I
don't know who his agent is, but if you're if
you're Brandon Ayuk's agent and you're listening, take his mobile
devices Oway, because he is not helping you.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Man, He is not helping you right now, not at all.
You mentioned Lamar Jackson before. Is it fair to say
he has the most amount of pressure on him headed
into this season, because listen, when you get John Horbass
sent to the New York Giants, so they chose Lamar
Jackson and they should have by the way, over the
head coach, he kind of has to win, doesn't he.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Well, yeah, this I think is the same for him
and Josh every year, right, I mean you know last year, Okay,
the big bad ghost isn't there, Patrick isn't there, and
neither one of what le Bravens didn't even make the
playoffs because of that kick at the end of the
regular season games.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
And then you know, Josh played great against Jacksonville and
blank the bed in Denver. There's no other way to
describe it. You know, there's that one.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Interception that shouldn't have been an interception that should have
been a reception late in the game, but he had
all kinds of turnovers and problems can't happen that I
can't have it. I think that there's equal pressure on
Josh and Lamar for sure. And the other thing about
Buffalo is, Okay, it didn't work, so you're going to
bring in a guy who was there when it wasn't working. Like,
I love Joe Brady, but I don't see how he's

(15:35):
an improvement from Sean McDonough when he was the one
that was running all the offense. Unless Jean McDonalds Sean McDermott,
unless Sean McDermott was the one saying no, don't we
can't do this, we can't do this, and I don't.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Believe that to be the case. I don't know if
they fired the right guy in Buffalo. Try it's a
long trip here. Do you mind if I talk about
the credit card with you? Listen? Getting the reno is
to getting a like Tahoe is difficult. Once you get
to Reno, you're about halfway there because you have to
drive to this beautiful facility here. What happened to the

(16:07):
credit cards last night?

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Well, just for clarity, like to get here, we had
to get to the hotel on Monday night because it
was a six am flight out of Hartford.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
And let's be clear, you're not complaining, not complaining. Life
is wonderful. Yes, you have the invite back. Absolutely, I
love it here.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Hartford to Charlotte, that flight was delayed, Charlotte to Phoenix,
that flight was delayed.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Phoenix to Reno, that.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Flight was delayed, and then forty seven minutes to get
the bags out of the airport in Reno, which I
thought was really exceptional.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yes, and then we got down here.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
We were absolutely just exhausted, went out to one drink
at the bar, and of course I left my credit
I did just get the call that they have it,
so we're good.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
So we're gonna go down there and get it working.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
But yeah, it's the good news is that the di
you can ditch only locked the cards.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Now, do is you know that?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
No?

Speaker 3 (17:01):
I did that. I was going to say there was
no place. Would would let's rather leave my credit card
than a casino lock.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
That bad boy.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
It will be unlocked when I have the card in
my hand. That's our next top. After a little bit
of a practice session here.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Trey, if you had a trade professions, would Sean McDonough
be a better football coach or would Sean McDermott be
a better play by play guy?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Wow, that's a good question. Actually, I don't. I can't
see McDonough as a football coach. I don't have him
doing play by play McDermott or McDonough because I made
that mistake to you. You said McDermott, You said mcdubb.
But he got him thinking about it. We're taking those
two people and switching the.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
No no, but but Sean McVay And the other one is
either McDermott or McDonough.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
Who is it McDermott. So McDermott, the fired Bills coaches,
is now a play by play guy. McDonough is now
the Bill's head coach.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
And let me remind you July Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
McDonough is a play by play announcer that works for ESPN.
Joe Brady is the head coach of the Buffalo Bills.
I'm very confused.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
He was basically asking you, do you think Sean McDonough
would be a better head coach coach or Sean McDermott
would be a better play by play guy if they
had to reverse role. So is not part of this
Joe Brady? Nor is Joe Brady. But again, you had
seventeen flights, they were all delayed, you lost your credit card.
It's I don't know why you asked that question.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Either is former PJ player Sean O'Hare, but that's neither here. No,
So Sean McDermott, Sean McDermott better play by play or
Sean McDonough better head coach?

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yes, yes, I'm gonna have to say Sean mcdonaugh better
head coach than Sean McDermott play.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
By surround yourself a good coordinator.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Exactly right? Yes, just be a CEO, baby. But you admit,
you know it's an odd question. It's the whole thing was, the.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Whole sequence of events was very odd, very very odd.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
All right, good luck this week. I'm gonna need it.
You're gonna be fine. I'm gonna need it. You're gonna
be fine. You're a good golfer. Of course is hard.
You played this course before once, and I'm going to
take a card around. Just drive around for a little bit,
because play the land, lay.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Of the land.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
H you need a caddy or anything? I mean, you
got it, baby, really, I tip, I'll be on your
bag on Friday. You don't need to tip me. Well, no,
in the payment will be being your caddy. Well, you're
far too gentos. All right. Well, I'm happy you're invited.
I'm happy you're here. You're safe. Your credit card's locked down,
but they bonded. How long did it take you to
realize you lost it and locked it? Didn't even know
what I was leaving the hotel? You, I'm like, son

(19:28):
of kind of Can you look and see how many
extraneous charges?

Speaker 4 (19:32):
None?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, So we're good, right, because there was a twelve
hour window there, correct.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Where you could have gone really bad, really really bad.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
All right, get back to their age. Good luck this weekend.
I am insanely jealous that you've been invited to play
in this thing, but I'm also very happy for you. Man,
love you, long time, love you.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
But be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson
Company Live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
All right, Wrapping it up here on a Wednesday from
the American Century Championships. I am still reeling from Taylor's
terrible question at the end of Trey Wingo.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
It was a good question.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
It was a terrible question. He was confused, he was
I guess it was great. You know what, I apologize
to you. Getting a confused Trey Wingo, who's already tired
because he's taken seventeen flights to get here, is a
good job out of you. What happened with you? I
saw you talking to Alfonso Robero, who has been here forever. Okay,
he's Carlton on Fresh Prince. I saw you hanging out

(20:40):
with him, so he's been on with me a couple
of times. What happened with that interaction?

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Before the NFL season starts, You know how every team
says they have a chance, but they don't really have
a chance. Yes, I saw Alfonso Roberto in the chipping area.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
I go up to him and I go, Alfonso, this
is your year.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Uh huh.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
I don't think he's ever finished in the top half
of this field. No. He looked at me like I
just told the Arizona Cardinals they were going to win
the Super.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Bowl, right, like, Hey, the Jets jet fan, this is
your year. He gave you that kind of like, no,
it's nuts. Get out of here. What are you talking about.
How dare you say it's my year? It's never going
to be my year.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
He was insulted that I that I even mentioned the
idea that he could win it.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Yes, by the way. And so while that was happening,
and then you came back and you said, I got
a funny story, and it is funny because it's not
his year. But then you wanted to scream something at
Derek Low, this is what is all about in front
of me right now with Jason Kelsey to his right
as hal Wingo, which is still on the driving range.

(21:42):
And then Derek Low walked up, and you wanted to scream, what.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
Derek, I think you're going low this year?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Why do you, But you never asked them to come
on the show.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
You just screamed things at I just want to cat call.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Them, but I want him here, not Derek Lowe. Gollin
Low would be a good name for a podcast.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
If Derek Lowe did a football podcast, an NFL podcast,
and it was called low Man Wins, where Derek low
recaps the NFL. You're telling me you wouldn't listen to it.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Uh No, that's exactly what I'm telling you.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
I probably wouldn't either.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Do you get mad at me when you see like
when Jason Kelsey walks by, gives me a big hug, stops,
comes back a couple of feet, talks to me. We
have an embrace, We have a conversation. He says, Drap
told me to tell you, you know, what's up? How
you doing? I asked him how the wedding is. Do
you get mad that I don't ask him to sit
down with us and record like what happens there for you?

Speaker 5 (22:37):
No, Because my theory with Tahoe, the content is gonna come. Yea,
the people are going to enjoy anything. As long as
we're sitting down here and we're talking, the content's gonna
come I'm much rather you have a personal relationship with
Jason kelcey and not have to cross the line and
you know, blur boundaries asking him to come onto the show.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Right, so you realize the reason I don't ask him
to come on not asking him to come on is
the reason I have any sort of friendship with him whatsoever.
And the other reason I don't ask him to come
on is because it's your job to ask him to
come on.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
I mean, with the whole Taylor Swift thing, Yes, Jason
Kelsey has elevated to a completely different level.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I'm going to challenge you to go up to Jason
Kelsey and say Stu doesn't want to bother you. He
respects you too much. I know he wants you on.
Please come on, otherwise I'm going to lose my job.
