(00:21):
of the Doug Gotlip Show on Fox Sports Radio. Doug
Gotlip Show Fox Sports Radio, coming to you from beautiful,
sunny southern California, where now a lot of drama I mean,
I guess a little bit of drama in the National
Football League. Doug Gotlip Show is brought to you by Farmers.
Had Farmers, We've seen almost everything, so you want to

(00:43):
cover almost anything. When it's game time, have an experienced
player help you stay at the game, put their experience
and play at Farmers dot com. Are Farmers well, well, well,
it turns out that tough guy Zekeie Elliott is nothing
more than sensitive guy Ezekie Elliott. Right after week's upon
weeks of this holdout first, the soft holdout, Well, he

(01:06):
might hold out, he might not. Well, if he doesn't
get what he wants. If he's not paid, then he might.
That's just that's the soft holdout to the hardcore holdout.
Just don't show up to the good cop bad cop
of Jerry and Stephen Jones. He's great, but at what
cost is great? Now he's offended. That's the that's the latest,

(01:28):
all right. So here's what happened. Um, a rarely a
fairly unknown running back. Right, That's that's how I would
That's how I describe him. Fairly unknown running back draft
pick for the Dallas Cowboys, had a really good game
in a preseason game, all right. They took on the Rams.

(01:51):
It was in Hawaii. Now it should be pointed out
that the Rams didn't bring pretty much all of their
starters or didn't play pretty much all of their starter
because it was in Hawaii. And the Rams told us
when we were at Rams camp, it's a ridiculous trip
for us. Remember the Rams had trading camp that we attended.
Then they had uh scrimmages with the Chargers. Then they

(02:14):
went up to Oakland and scrimmage with with the Raiders.
Then they flew out on Thursday, played on Saturday, came
back Saturday night. So it it's not like Tony Pollard
was going against, you know, the RAM defense that went
to the Super Bowl. But Tony Pollard was very, very impressive,

(02:36):
really impressive. He had five carries forty two yards and
looked like a guy who's in NFL running back. You know. Yeah.
By the way, he's a fourth round draft pick, fourth
round pick. So the Cowboys were sort of protecting themselves
from this sort of Zeke nonsense by going and getting
a quality guy who's twenty two years old at the

(02:57):
University of Memphis. He played well, Oh, no one's saying
he's Zekei Elliott. After the game, Jerry Jones was asked
about it, what's your best negotiator with z Now, that's funny, right,

(03:18):
it's clever. It's funny, and by the way, it was
set up by a reporter just you know, doesn't mean
anything until we get a report from Zeke's agent that
he didn't think it was funny, and neither did Ezeki Elliott.
Keep in mind, you go back two weeks ago and
Jerry Jones said, you don't have to have the leading

(03:38):
rusher in the Nation Football League to win the Super Bowl.
How does he know Zeke Elliott led the league in
rushing last year, let it in the league and rushing
two years ago, and of course uh DeMarco Murray led
the league in rushing five years ago. None of them
ended up taking the Cowboys to the Super Bowl, let
alone the NFC Championship Game. But if anything like that's

(04:00):
the kind of thing that should be offensive. Not the
joking laughing, Hey, let's celebrate Terry Potter, Terry Porter, Terry Porter, Terry,
Tony Pollard against the twos and threes and even fours
of the l A Rams. That's that's that's the kind

(04:20):
of thing that should be offensive. Offensive is now like
Tony bothered? Zeke who? And I've said this to people
for a long time. You know, the funniest people should
be the happiest people, shouldn't they The funniest people should
be the happiest people. But if you've ever met have
you ever met most comedians? Not Seinfeld? He seems to

(04:43):
be totally happy, But most comedians are miserable dudes. They
just are. They just are not happy, and their outlet
is finding ways to make fun of themselves and others
because that's what brings them their rare joy, and that's
their skill. In life, but in life they're not usually happy.
The funniest people should be the happiest people. Hell, if

(05:07):
I was funny enough to be commedient, I feel like
I'd tell a joke making myself laugh every single day.
But at last, that's not the way it works. And
then you have and then you have. The people who
should be the most confident are the people who are
the most successful, right Like, if you're a success in life,

(05:30):
you should have great confidence. If you're ZEKEI Elliot right
now and somebody says, Tony who, that's what exactly, Zeke Who?
You should be thinking, Tony Who? Come on, he's just joking.
But that's not the way it works. The most successful
people in life, oftentimes for the most insecure people in life,
they just are you know. Jay Leno, for example, for years,

(05:53):
would never take a day off. Why not? He wouldn't
take a day off because he was afraid they would
find somebody to replace him and ultimately he'd be left
looking for a job. That's what he That's what he thought,
That's what he wondered. That's obviously not the case, nor
will it probably ever was was it ever the case?

(06:15):
Even when they tried to pull him off the air.
They couldn't like it end up being kind of the reverse, right,
that's kind of maybe the maybe the ultimate irony too
to uh to Jay Leno is they tried to replace
him and the numbers just plummeted and they had to
bring him back, which was the opposite of his fear.

(06:38):
But his fear, his inner insecurity was I can't take
a night off because they find to fill in for me.
Somebody will find that fill in to be funnier than me,
and I'll be out of a job. And the opposite happened.
So Zeke Elliott and his whether it's insecurity or or

(06:58):
his millennial nous, just this idea that celebrating Tony Tony
Pollard's great day, that the local media setting Jerry up
for the funny line and Jerry delivering on it deadpan,
is in fact funny and you're way too sensitive. Not

(07:21):
only should a star football player not be so so sensitive,
but the sport where you're supposed to be the toughest
of guys like that. That's like Zeke's whole thing is like, hey,
I'm not just a good running back. I block, I catch,
I absorbed contact. I'm tough for the other guys. Those
should be the toughest guys, but they're not. Oftentimes those

(07:44):
are the guys that are softest in life. You know.
That's that's the way it generally works. Stuck gotlip show
here on Fox Sports Radio. And and if I'm the Cowboys,
I'm fine where I am. I look at their early
season schedule. I see the Giants, I see the Redskins,

(08:06):
I see the Dolphins, I see three and now, yes,
of course it backfired when they didn't have Emmett Smith,
but Dak's playing with a supreme amount of self confidence.
He has shown up for everything. Why would you relent
and reward Zeke Elliot, who's now getting sensitive, And he's
probably getting sensitive because he's nervous that he's not going

(08:28):
to get the ultimate contract he wants, nor should he,
nor should he. I think he's tremendous, But I also
think that it's fair to say, um it's it's fair
to say that he's he's only super valuable to the Cowboys,

(08:49):
which doesn't mean he's actually that super valuable. And they
knew exactly what they were doing when they drafted Tony
Pollard to give them a young, fresh pair of legs
that they could use up if in fact, Zeke Elliott
pulled one of these, which is what he's doing, be
sure to catch live editions so the Doug Dot Leaps
Show weekdays at noon eastern three pm Pacific on Fox

(09:09):
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio app. Matt Challam
joins us on The Doug Gotlip Show on Fox Sports Radio. UM,
I'm gonna play for you, Jerry Jones. After the Saturday
afternoon in Hawaii preseason game, Tony Pollard has a nice game.
Here's kind of the playful back and forth, but you're

(09:29):
basically negotiating with z polor mad Thanks for joining us
that the reports are that Zeke's agent and Zeke himself
were bothered by this. It felt like, uh, it felt disrespectful.
Uh when you hear it, does that sound disrespectful? Yeah?

(09:50):
Fluly good luck finding a player that wouldn't, I mean,
especially when you have a you know, a few a
few seasons relationship with that owner and nobody overreacts the
preseason games. I guess the big takeaway from you here
is how would that help you in negotiation? Do you
think do you think a uk LTT really believes that
that he can be dismissed by one, you know, preseasonformers,

(10:12):
probably young player, probably not. So it's just to antagonize
and to me or even if it's just a slip
of the tongue, it's a very foolish one. So I
don't know the whole idea here is to bring people
back to the table that that's certainly not going to
do it. Yeah, I'm gonna disagree with you. I just
I don't understand it. Like he's never said a bad
word about Zeke. He said he deserves to be a
top aid guy. Was clearly joking, right, and he was

(10:32):
asked a question about it, Like, I don't like Zeke, Ellie,
it's a big boy. He knows how good he is.
This is more you know, his cost value. I just
I think we've gotten to the maybe we've got into
the place in negotiation where nothing's funny anymore. Like that,
that's not that doesn't that doesn't strike you as like
pretty obvious he's joking. He may be joking, but let's

(10:52):
put it this way. He did site when this thing
was the person went down with sort of like goofy
replaceability metrics thing with with running backs, which is so
flaw it's it's not worth even getting into. But the
notion that a guy that is dramatically different than the
rest of his people, and that's the people that play
at this position. There's only a handful of guys who
are gonna perform on a down and down up basis
like Zeke does. If if if the argument position from

(11:15):
the person who's making the joke is that it kind
of doesn't matter, you're running back, running backs your commodities,
and then he makes that joke, it's not it's not
as if, hey, you know, balls can't be busted, No
big deal. His joke cuts right to the to the
base of what he's arguing with the other guy. That
goes to the guy's pocket. So he's not gonna find
that funny. I mean, let's put it the other way.
If if Zeke in some sort of TMZ interview, it's

(11:37):
Jerry who I mean, you know, because he wants to
be traded and would like to go elsewhere. I mean,
I imagine Jerry'd probably take it the same way. Matt
Chadam joining us on the Doug Gallup Show here on
Fox Sports. Ready, he writes for The Athletic you Also,
if you watch a Patriots preseason game, he's the color analyst.
This this doesn't ever seem to happen with the Patriots. Why, Uh,
you know, I don't want to just give it exclusively them.

(11:58):
I think there's a lot of places that doesn't happen
with and uh, there's just sort of a general sense,
at least at the ones that I'm most familiar with,
of trying to avoid distractions, trying to mute them in
the event that they're out there, trying to distance yourself
from them if they start to creep up, and also
trying to pick the people in house that are going
to avoid them. You can't bat a thousand on those
kind of things, obviously, But the bigger issue is sort

(12:18):
of coming to a sort of an agreement about how
things operate in house and going out of your way
to keep them in house, because it's not as if
they're perfect. I mean, we we all had our arguments
and disagreements and things like that in house. I mean
I can remember multiple muted we'll call it equipment issues
over the years. But we're not going to get to
the situation where someone is not practicing because they don't

(12:39):
like their helmets. It's something where they'll they'll be showing
those those helmets, the fifteen different varieties throughout the league.
They'll make those decisions on their own, quietly, without bringing
that to an agent or to uh, you know, to
to the podium. You don't need that. So I think
part of it's just operate how how you choose to operate.
And it's just because they believe so strongly, and the

(13:00):
distractions can keep you from getting to your goalf. If
you happen to be in a place that said ask
boys will be boys and say whatever you like, and
we'll pull it all together on game day and things
that work well. They may not be as bothered by this,
but it tends to be a place that just wants
to stay away from that kind of stuff. Match Adam,
who's a three time Super Bowl champion, color analysts for
the Patriots radio network in the preseason games, kind of
spend some time with This is the Doug Otlip Show

(13:22):
Fox Sports Radio. The big news for the Pats is
that Josh Gordon is now back in the National Football League.
I didn't it doesn't feel like a surprise because we
saw him playing catch with Tom Brady. Because Nikkil Harry
got he had to give that number back. Um, but
what does it do to this team who has been
I mean the reason they traded for him last year

(13:42):
was they were searching for somebody outside the numbers. Well,
it's it's certainly a boost I make. You'd be a
boost anyone's roster, any of the thirty two. But to
get a guy like that back in the midst of
a bit of transition, I would call it with her
wide receiver group, uh, in part because they've got a
tremendous amount of talent in the room, but you don't
have a lot of you know, pass catches. Yeah, Julian
Edelman is off the charts. But Jewels was coming back

(14:04):
from a thumb injury. I was out there at practice
today for the first time without at least it appeared
from just the far away photographs stuff because we were
limited media today, but didn't have the little brace on
the thumb or anything like that. So he looks like
he's getting back and getting ready up to speed. But
in the absence of say the Gordon edition, a lot
of the other bodies are super talented, but they're young people.
You know, it's Nikkil Harry first round picked for mariz

(14:25):
in the State Ben tremendous, But you know, anytime with
the first year wide receiver, it's an unknown, even if
it's O, B, J, Julio Jones, whatever it is, usually
don't come out of the gates getting thousand yards seasons.
So you're looking at a relative uncertainty from two down,
you know, two, three, four, whoever it may be. And
this also in the greater context of having no gronk
on the field. So I think what adding Jock back

(14:46):
in is it adds another known that I think at
least if we're talking sort of Patriots Nation kind of talk, Uh,
they're gonna be more settled and they say, Okay, there's
there's a relief, there's something I know, something that's more
predictable relative to production when he's playing. But in saying that, man,
it's been a really interesting camp because of nikkil Harry,
because of this young guy in Jacobe Myers from NC State,

(15:07):
that's just been lightening up with really all three quarterbacks
with Tom but also with Brian Hoyer and with the
Stidham the young guys. So they seem to have a
lot of new exciting answers. But the gnomes are Julian
and Josh and they haven't been on the field. Yeah,
it's kind of amazing and of course taken right and
he we we feel like they can run the football.
Although Gronk was a big part as a tight end
as a blocker, we feel like that's the other part

(15:28):
to it, which we won't see until the regular season.
What about tom Um You know, look, he's forty two
and that was he He wasn't as good late as
he was early, but some of that his level of
competition is better late than it was early. What's your
assessment of how he looks so far in the preseason.
He looks like the same guy. I mean. One of

(15:48):
the big challenges, you know, for being a teammate that
histors so long, you have a certain perception. And then
I played for the Jets through a few years, so
I have a perception looking back across the sideline, and
then be an analyst here for almost a decade watching
you have to it's very difficult to go up and
sit on that hill and put on the buboculars and
try to watch his practices and then his his joint
practice stuff and say, can I tell a difference today?

(16:09):
At forty two from thirty two, if I didn't have
the program in front of me and I was just
looking at some guy named twelve. But I know he's
forty two years old, and and that's I think the
indeterminable thing right now. He doesn't look much different. I mean,
if at all. You'd be really hard pressed if you
could write down, here's the twenty attributes at the quarter has,
Here's what Tom's been throughout his career. Which one's different.
I mean, if you're really split in hairs the final

(16:30):
one or two, it's it's not. It's the same guy.
It's very very difficult to distinguish him from ten years ago.
And you know everyone sits and wait for something to change.
As we sit here now it has. It's so um.
I think it's exciting. He was actually really strong down
the stretch a year ago. I mean because some of
the biggest games are the Chargers games, the Chief's game,
and the numbers are big without the touchdowns in the
Rams one and was biggest in the moment that you

(16:51):
need him to be. And that's what Tom's kind of
always been about. So I think they're excited. I think
it would probably be a different story of say, you know,
smoking for eight games and then just sort of fall
all off down the stretch. But he was aided that,
like any quarterback in the league, would be with the
really strong running game, as you mentioned, Doug, and that
was that was something where Tom I think was third
only to Jared Goff and uh and to Drew Brees

(17:14):
down in New Orleans. The quarterbacks who were under center,
under center, more strong running games with both those programs.
Patriots are right behind it, and they really kicked in
running the ball more after that. Steelers lost late a
year ago. So you get him under center, let him
be a full offense guy, handleball more, don't gotta throw
five times. But in the moments where hey we gotta
go two minute, we're gonna spart it out, much like

(17:35):
happened in that Kansas City game. He's the same guy there.
So uh, they seem to be managing the kind of
guy they have perfectly. And they built up that offensive
line in the strong backgroup to help help buff for
the whole thing. Matt Chad'm joining us on the Doug
Gallin Show here on Fox Sports Radio. Um I did
I do want to ask you about Antonio Brown? Drew
Rosenows came out a couple of hours ago on Colin

(17:56):
Cowherd Show and said, we're closer to a resolution. Didn't
we have a solution with the arbitrator? Like didn't even
like how don't we all clear? Like just where the
different helmet? Help me out? Dude, you play in this
league a long time, you cover this league. I feel
like we already have the answer, and it's like we
keep going around around in circles until finally Antonio Brown's like, Okay,
now I'll wear the new helmet. Yeah it's weird. I'm

(18:18):
gonna go out on a limb here and guess that
if you step into that locker room and you got
at this point in the way eighty nine other guys
who are wearing various other helmets, they're probably scratcher going
their head going what the hell are you talking about?
Like it's one thing, and that one of the biggest
thing he cited was comfort and being used to the thing.
He've been around it for a while and sort of
that there may have been a vision issue, you know,

(18:41):
if that helmet were cut a little bit different around
sort of your sidelines left and right or there was
you know, dramatic dip over the brow from one helmet
brand of the next. I mean, I know there are
different cutouts. I mean, Brady has had his issues with
different versions of well from just comfort sake, but he's
wearing the radio stuff inside there too, and there's different
considerations for a quarterback. But I'm really having a are
time figuring out how if it's just a matter of sidelines,

(19:04):
how one of those other fifteen models doesn't have something
that's least comparable, Like, I just don't get that. And
to quote safety here, I think one of the biggest
things that if as players were going to hammer that point,
we can't get behind the weird ones like that. You know,
if you're going to call this a safety issue where
you're sighting safety for the one that the safety boards
said released safe, we're kind of out in a weird

(19:26):
place here. Let's just go back. If you're gonna say safety,
you should be citing I have to be given one
of these ones that certified, not I have to wear
the one that is. It just doesn't make any sense.
Did you hear what I heard? I basically heard Mike
Mayo's voice like, Okay, did we've had enough well, and
trust me, this is the NFL its generally, the B
S level is low. You know, there's gonna be certain

(19:47):
things taken to the microphone and we have to kind
of play this dance, and you have to play a
dance with the with an agent and players. In fairness,
we want to get the best possible scenario for ourselves.
But this is one where you're going to get side
from every other person in the room. It's like, dude,
what are you what are you talking about? Like, just
you know, let's let's get this thing straight. And it's not.
It's not it's not that there's an issue with a
player needing to get that resolved. You know, if you

(20:08):
have an issue, you have some very particular one. A
lot of guys do. But how did they get to
be a national story? How did you ever get to
the point where you weren't ready to go out to
a practice for that? I mean, this is not news.
This is something that could have been handled in March
or April or whatever it may be. Yeah, and it
feels like I can't I just cannot tell what his

(20:29):
ultimate win is in this. I just I don't. Maybe
he doesn't want to practice, but supposedly he's a great
practice player, and here he already miss time burning his
feet in the cryo chambers. So I don't I really
struggle to struggle to to get that one Doug Alam
show here on Fox Sports Trading, do you want to
ask you quickly about about the Giants? Um, we we've

(20:50):
we've gone and you know with those no real games
is what we do. But we've gone from Daniel Jones
is booted the Yankees game, no what he wants him to. Hey,
why don't we get to get this Daniel Jones guy
in as he's throwing the bulleted fumbled twice in the
second preseason game, but has thrown the ball exceedingly well
and looked like a guy who could ultimately be the
starting quarterback. Um, the Giants just they're dug in on Eli.

(21:15):
Does it have to be a patent type of situation
where he just can't play anymore? Or do you actually
think Daniel Jones will will get some some legit run
this year? Well, I haven't seen him in person yet,
and we get them week four for the preseason, which
if he's playing, and I want I think we'll understand
a little bit where he stands. But if he's not,
I mean, it kind of sends the opposite message. That's

(21:35):
someone to protecting that may be involved at some point
this season. But I was port it this way. I'm
not necessarily team you know, Daron Rodgers way. It doesn't
have to be, you know, four years into your career
in this long tutelage kind of thing because with the
spread offense stuff and in offenses willing to simplify themselves
and make them were college college system nomenclature friendly, that
kind of thing. A guy can come in and get

(21:56):
it quickly if he's seasoned enough, if he's able enough. Um. So,
you know, it's not as if, let's put it this way,
we know how the NFL goes you you're one in
three in September, that conversation will restart if it hadn't already.
If the four now September, this can go away for
a year or even two. And that's unfortunately just kind
of how things work. Momentum will generally, you know, tell
the story here, especially in the absence of their top

(22:17):
wide receivers down with a p D thing. So, uh,
which whichever was that that he got him out, But
you don't have you don't have weapons, and you have
the other quarterback who they're sort of, you know, nudging
from behind. Um, it always ends up being outside factors
that make that decision. If Daniel's ready, man not matter.
If Daniels not may not matter. So we'll see where
it goes. Matt, great stuff, man, enjoy your work. Really

(22:40):
appreciate you joining us, and thanks for me our guest
on Fox Sports Radio. All right, thanks for having on
Matt Chadam joining us. Three time Super Bowl champion and
now he can read his work in the athletic but
you can check him out on those preseason Patriots broadcasts.
Be sure to catch live editions so the Doug dot
Leap Show week days at noon eastern three pm Pacific.
Antonio Brown appears to be that guy, that guy, or

(23:05):
maybe that woman. I don't know woman, that guy, that woman.
Let me kind of take you through what's taking places.
Antonio Brown was reportedly back at the Raiders facility earlier today,
but um um. Antonio Brown, who had fought the league
over their new helmet rule, did show up in Arizona

(23:26):
at the preseason game one. Was supposedly all in on
being back after losing arbitration. The helmets that he found
or was given or bought because you know, you use
social media, Hey I need I need one that's less
than ten years old were deemed to still be too dangerous,
and so he had to go with a newer model.

(23:47):
Then he knows shows again. Yesterday. Here's Mike Mayock, general
manager of the Oakland Raiders yesterday. Here's the bottom line.
He's upset about the helmet issue. We have supported that.
We appreciate that, okay, but we've at this point, we've
pretty much exhausted all avenues of relief. So from our perspective,

(24:11):
it's time for him to be all in. We're all out,
So we're hoping he's back soon. We got eighty nine
guys busting their tails. We are really excited about where
this franchise is going, and we hope Baby is gonna
be a big part of it, starting week one against Denver.
End of story. No questions, no questions, like, look, dude,

(24:34):
we're done. We're done. We've done all this other stuff.
We're done. We're just done. And and I understand talented
people oftentimes are difficult people, and how much you'll put
up with oftentimes comes down to how much did a
person produces. But Mike Mayocks sitting there, he's just got

(24:57):
to be this is exhausting. I'm trying to put together
the best, the best roster, the best fifty three guys
for the Oakland Raiders. Then this is the job of
his life. That's what this is for Mike Mayak, a
guy who has been a TV guy for twenty years,
who used to call Notre Dame games and NVY and
and the NFL Networks Thursday night game and it was
this is the job of his life. And you can't

(25:19):
proper evaluate what you have unless you have all the pieces.
And it's one thing if you're missing for a legit
excuse like look, your mom dies, your dad dies, your grandma,
you know you're you're even even the feet foot thing,
it's annoying, but like, look you look at his feet,
Like all right, he's clearly not healthy. You can't argue
with those things, would have zero argument with them. Ever,

(25:44):
cannot argue with him. But you start going down this
kind of rabbit hole of you know, of just complete nonsense.
What do you want us to do? But what do
you want us to believe? And Mike Mayakis in there
going like, look, will you hear you the helmet thing?
You're mad they had a ruling. It's over, It's over.

(26:10):
Drew Rosenhouse Uh Antonio Brown's agent was on the herd
earlier today. Here's what he had to say. We've worked
very closely with the Raiders, and we will continue to
work very closely with the Raiders. I'm not sure that
we agree that we've exhausted all the options, is Mike
Mayock said, But there's no doubt. It's still an ongoing process.

(26:33):
We are trying to work with the team and the
league and the union to come up with the solution.
We haven't figured it out yet. To say that A
b Is upset about the decision to not let him
wear his helmet is accurate, but we're still processing it
and figuring it out. I wouldn't make too much about
him not being there today as much as we're still

(26:54):
trying to come up with the solution that works for everyone.
That was actually earlier the day before he was on
the herd, and when he was on the herd, he said,
we're coming close to a resolution here. The resolution is simple,
put on the new helmet, get used to it, and
go out and play football. You know you you can't
have on one hit you like, you don't have the
support really of the union on this, because the union

(27:15):
has been vociferous in Hey, the league's not trying to
protect us. There's lawsuits against him, helmet companies. The league
paid a almost two billion dollars out due to the
concussion lawsuits, the CTE lawsuits. You're you're asking something that's impossible.
You want the league to review it. We did where

(27:35):
the new helmet. You want arbitrator to review it. We
did wear the new helmet. You're just wearing everybody down.
And it's one thing if you've been with the franchise
for ten years and this is the only helmet you've worn,
and you've been a good citizen and you've done all
these things, it's a whole other thing. If you just
got to a place they gave you a contract. They
probably they don't. They didn't. Probably they definitely didn't have

(27:57):
to give you. And you burn your feet. You know,
you have a reputation, and now you won't wear the
damn helmet, So you're missing time. And I mean, even
if you've wore the new helmet and we're unhappy about
it and threatened to sit the first game so this
could go forward. That's more acceptable than not showing up.

(28:19):
So I just this idea that this is and I
do blame Rosenhouse. And people will say, well, you know,
he's got so many clients and and Rosenhouse does a
good job for yeah, but he never manages issues like this.
This is a pr disaster for Antonio Brown. There isn't

(28:40):
anyone out there going, you know, and honestly, he's getting
screwed in this. And we're we're in a space where
everyone's against leagues, everyone's against ownership and coaches. They're up
and not nice. I good luck finding somebody who can
only make a legit argument for Antonio Brown to be
able to wear the helmet that he wants to be
awareed a ten year old bonnet which has been deemed

(29:02):
to be illegal because it doesn't pass the concussion testing.
How does anybody, how does Antonio Brown in his right
mind think this is going to have any sort of
public support? Does not legal support, doesn't that public support,
doesn't have any support. Get back on the football field,

(29:23):
get back out there, and he's, you know, he's working
his way towards the Ten, who's at the bar? You know,
she looks good, she smells good. Why isn't she married.
It's a hard thing, you know. And maybe he's just misunderstood,
and maybe nobody listened to him, or maybe maybe we

(29:45):
listened to him too much.
