Speaker 1 (00:01):
Get a it's deary here from the Hidachy Breakfast. Just
letting you know that if you're listening to the podcast
but didn't know that we also do a live radio show.
We do. And if you're wondering how to find out
what frequency to listen to us in your area, just
takes north or south as an island to three four
eight three and we'll let you know. And now let's
get on with the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
This looks like it's recording now, guys. Okay, little rally
and we and we're off.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
We're off in racing in the first ever Radiohadache Daffodil
Ping Pong Championship may recording a podcast at the same time.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
That's right. I think we are calling this the Ainz
donation Stations Radiohadachi's Table Tennis. Okay a Ping Pong Championship Cheese.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
That's a long title, tear.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
But didn't you remember it so well? The kid. It's
steering families apart because we thought initially that we would
be playing with each other against the big show. That's
not the case. We're playing against each other. And we thought,
in another pointless world first for Radio Hidaki, why don't
we record the podcast after the show while we're doing
the game, so you will hear that this sounds a
little bit different. We have hitdphones, head sts on microphones,

(01:14):
and we've got a recorder right next to the ping
pong table, the table tennis table.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I feel like we actually need another mic on the
table almost just to try and get some audio of
the xual.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
The ground effects does actually a little bit, but it's
going to impact when I go over that side. So
what's going to happen here is we're going to play
against each other whilst live podcasting. This is another pointless
world first for Radio Hadaki. It's basically an endeavor to
make sure that we don't link in our own days
by double handling the work. And I want people to

(01:49):
have live access to me beating Jarrett table tennis. Jeez,
almost beat me there. The issue though, is because we've
got these head sets on, yeah, we're now tied to
the recording device.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah. Well, the good news about that is we don't
have to have the We don't have to we don't
have to go and click balls because we can't, that's right,
because we're tied to this. So we've got bull Boy
Dilly ball Boy Ruder and ball Girl Zoey All Women
Zoey Isaac as well. But covering the baseline.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Now, the issue is the cables have impacted my forury
a little bit because the cables coming from the right
hand side of the table. As I look at it,
and as we know, Jerry, my forehand is undeniable. When
I unleash a forehand someone scoring a point, it could
be you could be me. We don't know. It's about
fifty fifty. To be honest. All you can do is

(02:42):
just pray that I don't get hold of it. But
the cable has impacted the FORI, so it means I've
run the cable up the back of my shirt and
an effort to get it out of my way. Yeah,
I could see you, dun but that's tied me to
the floor now, so I'm not as mobile, which actually
is even the field because you aren't ether Well.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
The other part about that is that you do play
a very mobile sort of a game. I know you
like to be up at the net, you like to
drop back, you like to work the ball around the court.
I like to express myself, whereas as you said, I
like to just stay stationary, get a good strong he
get Dutch position and the go get it you're a turret,
and then just plug away from there.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
So, Edmund, how many do we want to play? One
game to eleven or best of three?

Speaker 1 (03:27):
First to twenty one?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Well, first to twenty I like first?

Speaker 1 (03:29):
What about first to twenty one? Five serves each, you know,
like that sort of round that way you just change
after five.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Serves, must bounce in your half then theirs.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yep, we do. We go cross court with the serves
straight ahead, cross court. Okay, sweet serves piece one by two.
That's always the standard thing, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And that's about it. The rudy got the off, So
this is going to be a problems going to have
to do. WIT's about them, guys, because anytime the ball
goes off the table, we've got to get it. We
pull the whole recording equipment off the side of the thing.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
So all right, Jerry, all right, So we're pretty much
must be ready to go by now. We've been playing
ping pong. By the way, if you haven't worked this
out the whole time, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Oh actually sorry, one more thing. I don't think I
mentioned it at the top. You can text donates to
three four nine three at any point, to be honest,
at any point in history. If you're listening to this
a year from now, I'm sure the text Liig will
still be up. What that'll do is a three dollars
donation to the Cancer Society. And that's all a native
obviously cancer, but also the Daffodil Day, which is today. Yeah,

(04:40):
so make sure that you do that.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah. Are you to think you're warmed up enough? Yeah?
The question is how focused on continuing online? I think
we should be given topics, and someone needs to score,
like keep score, because it's going to be too hard
to concentrate on playing, talking, doing the podcast and scoring
at the same time.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Sobby doing most of the scoring, but maybe Ruder could count.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
So Rudy, you've got to count. And and I think
if we're given topics that would be great. Yeah, then
we can actually continue to, you know, do the podcast
and actually truly multitask and do something.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
First topic, Jery, can you explain the o CR to me?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
The official cash rate?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Please?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Done? All right?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Should we rally for that? Should we rally for service?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah? Okay, one, two, three, four, five, right are we? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Jezu you wants nothing to do with the forehead. He's
gone straight down the lid. He lives in constant fear
of the four head. All right, and then I have
the first serve.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Here we go, so first to twenty one, first to
twenty one one by no no lips, but no faults,
no faults, no, just.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Lose a point if you make Yes. This has immediately
stopped the podcast, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
It's too it's too hard, both of us. Yes, the
full Okay, he's got off to that early lead that
he was looking. This is the dangerous as being able
to move?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Is that another world first? Calling the fury before you had.
I'm commentating my own game. Right serve on going forehand
on the serf to jury rights the left. As I
look at it, he's turned it straight back down the middle.
We're pushing him back. He's missing the table again. That's
two points up. Two points to.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Try and get away to a solid start. That hasn't happened.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Sure to have going backhand on the next serve.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
He's that's what I need to do. Just wait for
Stuart's mistakes because they'll come. They'll come, there's no doubt
about that, especially with that foury.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Pushing him back. He's trying to work the angles here, Jez.
He doesn't want the fory. He's staying well on the
left and it's paid off there.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
He goes back to tos to. That's kind of needed
to be tows. I was quite dangerous with this.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
The cad the caves are real back under it, Jesez.
He want nothing to do with the boy hand.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Oh that was there too. That was I was. That
was annoying because I see you up trying to try.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
To push it wide, because you're all scared about this.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
This is the problem.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
I'm just worried about that cable there serving to my
forehead is coming straight past your head.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Oh see. The thing about your foury is that it's
either going to when you appoint or when we are
point three all three all. So this is exactly the
contest that I wanted to get you into. A ding
dong arm wrestlet oh.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Great serve Jesus vicious, serve massive top spin.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
O. Yes, I start working my yes, caught up in
my cord there, thank you. The cord is a real problem. Okay,
I've got a ball up my skirt. Get off my cord,
Jerry serving let me it at the top of the net.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Oh that one just cass the white line. Okay, so
that's for at six four six four sex four my
serve then ten okay four.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yes, good serve, but a spin on that serve.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Six five ah missed.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
You see. You can't make those mistakes against.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Me and I. Oh I'm so tangled up on my
cable right now.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yes, okay, if you could just be quiet while we're
playing things very much, say I'm doing a podcast, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
School seven six seven sex okay?

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Oh sevens sevens? Oh what are you doing? Well? The
I know, but you've got to get ready.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
That didn't offer a shot. You've got to get ready
to rumble eight seven eight seven wells could delly?

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Could you hold onto this one of my balls? Thanks?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Can hold onto one of mine? Yes?

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Rubbish from me?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Eight eight This is hins.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
They should have lost my serf, to be honest. Yes,
she's playing his I've been locked. I'm playing his game.
This is silly. Yeah. Oh on top of the knit, unlucky?
What is it? Nine? Yeah? Oh that's a great return.

(09:49):
I was happy with I was so happy with that.
I just stood there.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
You stopped back and watched it. You sniffed your own fast.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Nine eight ten nine, right, Stewart, I tried to get
too cute.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Try to get too cute on it. It's an easy
mistake to make tense. Okay, all right, I feel yes,
straight through, that's poor from me. I've got a ball
that is poor. I feel really hemmed him by this corn.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
I know it's not easy.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Is that I should have been training with the court
on he's miss he's gone long off the return to
the serve. So that's what eleven eleven's okay, Oh ye,
each of them caught stuff up.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
It's just I know what you're up to.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I was at my serf.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Twelve eleven. Okay, there's no opportunity for that. Jesus, isn't
the four an event? The four? He just gave himself
too much room in that situation.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
That's a score roomer.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Eleven to me, I'm saying to the fact that I'm
puffing is Oh, he thought about the fury, but then
he went, now.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
He thought about fourteen eleven. That's jerryushir.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Oh, it's me. Do we go normally the other side?
Don't we started? Okay?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Commentary really fallen by the way.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
It is is it.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
You're thinking about the four great shot.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
He's trying to bake the foury out and you know what,
he's finding it and it's not finding disable.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
This morning, when I was in the shower, I had this,
This is the position I wanted to get myself into.
Fifteen eleven.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
How's the sweet levels?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Okay? What is it? Fifteen eleven? Okay, yes, that's rubbish,
trying to give myself room there all right?

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Oh, I just try to drop that one short on
the neit.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Sixteen twelve, right, I just got to capitalize on this.
Still have issues with my cords.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
That's a real nightmare.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Only some major problems. Yes, that was poor from me.
Sixteen thirteen, Thank you Isaac. Isaac doing great job with
the balls and then hiding behind the screen. It's like
he doesn't exists.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
It's real ballboys stuff.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Sixteen You got the issue for me? Is there? Sixteen
fourteen You can't shut up shop, that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Sixteen forty.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Oh that was a classy serve.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Don't mind running my own review on that.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I did not think he was going to return that
work in the angles, so it was Jerry oh no.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yes, got too excited. Okay, he's worked his way back.
This is a he's got to he's got some momentum.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Yeah, it's a foury.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
That's the confidence, you see.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
It's like Rocky pinting cracket. Once you once her confidences
met us up, you can bowler Dozra seventeen sixteen.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
He's got the confidence.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Oh oh what a rally sixteen eighteen sixteen, eighteen sixteen, Well, yes,
another foury?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Shoot? Okay you know your serve is it? I'm rolling
the sleeves up.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
I've just thrown three ball that Jerry to throw them
offers to take off the sleeves a roll score again
in nineteen.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Sixteen, nineteen sixteen, want to come back?

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Oh great, serve too much power and I've lolly popped
it off the end of the table.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Nineteen seventeen. I really need this to come through for
me myself. Here, No, I checked the thank you. I
checked the fury. Never checked the fury, never checked the
check the fury.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Right, it's got two very important serves here. Wells he
can serve us.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
He can serve himself to victory, win by two.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
This is time to bring out the secret weapon.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
No, it's the dusra. There's another for each me.

Speaker 1 (14:56):

is the match that people expected.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
So whoever wins it. From here, you know, it's been
a great game. Yeah, I tried to yes, no rubbish, yes,
rubbish from me. Well played justice, So I come around
this idea tangled up in these points twenty one nineteen.
I played great game, good game. I really appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Good game. It was that a good podcast, do you think?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Let me describe the game winning point. I I was
lining up with that look in my eye that I
was going straight forward. I think Jerry, you recognized that.
So you dropped on short, took all the pressure, all
the power off it. I had it back to you.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
You just had idiot. I should have gone with my
power serve, which was working for me. It was most
of the game, but it was coming back at you
with interest if you did.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
And I think you knew that.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Yeah, no, wells soon as you took that advantage into
that one point. That's where you get the massive advantage
and you can play a natural game at that point
when you're playing from behind the eight ball. And full
credit to you, because what stage it was? Sixteen twelve
I was, and to come back from sixteen twelve to
then one weeny one nineteen.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yeah, it's America's Cup sort of stuff, isn't it. Really?

Speaker 1 (16:16):
That was a good game.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yeah, it was a good game, Thank you very much.
I don't know if that was a good podcast to
listen to it or not, But that's not the point.
The point is text to the donation stays.
