Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome on to the podcast. It's Wednesday, the twenty sixth
of November twenty twenty five, and I see it's here.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Mashes here too, And you'll forgive us if we cut
this one a little bit short. We've got to get
out to wind Ross because we're playing the Big Show today,
So chune in if you listen to this during today,
which is Wednesday, tune into The Big Show from four
to find out who won.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah, let's be honest, we're not playing the Big Show.
We're playing the dudes that are playing with the Big Show.
And there's rumors that one of them because the Big
Show that's that's you know, we're going to beat them.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's not a problem. And I thought it was suspicious
how quickly they were okay with the wager. Yeah, and
so we've gone out into the office and had it
confirmed that the dark Horse is playing with them. Now,
the dark Horse plays last I heard off a single
digit handicaps Jesus Chris, and I've heard that his mate,
who actually won to go and play with the Big
Show is a scratch golf has even better. So and

(00:59):
that I think because you know, in the lead up
to this, they've been so coy about what they're willing
to put on the line. Then all of a sudden
this week that flipped and they were like, Barger, I'm
hearing a trailer playing on RADIOHODAK at the moment of Jason,
Hoytz and Bargert do the whole week.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, there's a reason for that.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
And that's because something has filled the ails was a.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Dark horse producer on The Met and Jerry Show as
well as The Big Show. He was right, Okay, so
he's got some history with those boys. Maybe chemistry is
going to come into it. But how's your short game going, Jerry?
I understand he went out to TETs yesterday.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, look it's coming along. It's a it's a work
in progress, but it's.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But that's where we're such a good team jury because
that's my specialty. Yeah, it's the short stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Okay, Yeah, Unfortunately, my driving is really bad, so look.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
That's where you'll have to take the drive as well.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Mine's no better.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
How your irons looking, Jerry?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Not good?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Okay, Look, you just don't know. With me.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
I'm a Mexicano.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I generally can produce one reasonably good shot every hole,
and I will normally have one really bad shot.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I know the level that Jerry can get to, though,
and I know that's quite high, So you know you'll
get one or two shots out of the screws. We're
going to lean pretty heavily on our winners.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Ambrose is definitely in my format. Yes, it's definitely in
my format.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
That's where I do my best work because you'll see
me off the tee and then wonder how you know
my score can be as low as it is, because
once you see me Shang going off the tee, you like, well,
this guy's going to shoot three hundred. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
But the thing is anywhere you get anywhere around the
green and it never takes more than three shots to
get it.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
In the whole I'm up and down. I'm up and down.
I backed myself on that.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
But I've seen you by by about whole three, you
figured out how much your slice is playing that day,
and then you've dialed in your foot starts. Then Angler,
you've got the degrees right on your you're facing. So
I think I think by the time you get to
where you want to be, you'll be fine. I think
those by the way, that helps.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I like wind because because for one or two of
the fear ways, the wind actually counteracts my slice. Yeah,
so I and I know when I can really if
we get a dog leg, right, bro, I'm looking at Berdie. Yeah,
there's one. There's one. Was me and Lane played out
the other day and because of the way the course
has been jammed in there, there's actually a tennis court

(03:05):
at the end of it, so they've got this ninety
degree right angle dog league that wouldn't exist on any
other course. But because there's a tennis court there, they've
had the and I booted the shit out. I could have.
I could have eagled it because it's just slice. Yeah.
I just rolled the eyes in the back of the head,
had it as hard as I possibly could. It went straight,
pulled the handbrake up, indicated, turned right, and I was

(03:27):
on the green. So if there's one of those, we're
in luck. Unfortunately, the course we're playing at is quite
unforgiving wind Ross. It's a flash course designed for flash golfers,
which I am not.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, look, if you're a good part of that, you
can part from anywhere. Basically, Yeah, that's the fairway and
the greens are pretty similar. Yeah, one of those ones,
So I think that's that's going to come in handy
for us.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We're going to have to lean pretty heavily on our
on our winners.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
It's going to come down to parts.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
It always does.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
This is the thing.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
And did you drive a show put for do Did.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
You do any research that's good?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Did you do any research on your owners at all?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
No, guys haven't played much golf. Okay, as long as
they bring maybe if they can just bring a bit
of vibe, that'll probably be enough.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Look, where's Keyesy and Jason's golf game at well?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Keysey has found something with his driver, and I reckon
he's probably about thirty five percent of just piping it
down the down the fairway.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's pretty good enough.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
And the hard part I'm grateful that we're not playing
with them is because he'll be the first person to
let you know about it as well. He'll celebrate his
own drive while it's a still in the air, and
that since my blood.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Pressure you can't you're just going to ignore. You're going
to ignore that, but no, you can't let him. Luckily
he's not for with us, So that's the relief. It
winds me up to. It's like, well, we don't. It's
not for you to celebrate your own drive. Other people say,
you know, shot mate, yeah, thank you yeah, or you
or you humbly say oh well I got one down

(04:58):
the middle. Yeah yeah, you know, you say something like
that with a lot about someone who celebrates their own drive.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
We'd all love to write around look at that one.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Go oh yeah, rapper, that's beauty. God, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, pride comes before four. That's what I say, an't
I yeah, that's right. But we well, we won't be
playing with them. And that's actually my other concern is,
because we're not playing with them, are they going to
turn around and go, wow, you guys have lied about
your score when we beat, the lie about your school
when you're in the Ambros now because you were all there. Yeah,
it would have to be some grand conspiracy where you're

(05:34):
all gonna lie about it.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
They're always very quick to jump to conclusions though, when
it comes to cheating. Those boys, like too quick to
the point where I think we'll hang on if you're
accusing us of cheating or and when I say us,
I mean you go because I'm you know, that's this
is the team I'm obviously supporting unfortunately with her like
it or not, and they like that implies to me
that maybe they've thought about cheating.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Well, no, I mean to be honest, I've played with
I've played with both Keysy and and he puts everything
man like. He only puts everything, even it's annoying. Actually,
even if it's like six inches, I can put that thing.
It's like, okay, mate, that's you're not gonna misstand. It
is literally you're tapping the ball in. But he taps
the ball in the hole. He has to finish the hole.

(06:14):
That's what he's got to do. And he's counting. He's
counting every single every single shot. And why about that?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Well, this is the thing about Keys is I imagine he's
also taking his own individual nine down this afternoon. I
imagine he will be putting that towards the handicap.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, he'll be turning your card in. That's the only game.
I've talked about this before on the radio. But the
only game that you can never get those two to
play is you get to watch them try and beat
their own score over eighteen. There's never like a should
we get a bit of a two ball gun?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Ah?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Exactly, It's I think you've got to play weird sort
of games and go make it more interesting. And yeah,
I particularly like one where a fine person blows out.
It doesn't like the idea of because I'll have a blowout. Yeah,
and I want that to ruin my whole hours.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
I also like every hole playing against the person that
you're with, you know what I mean, like there's something
on it. It just makes it a little bit more exciting.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I'll tell you you're talking about you're talking about the mad
baster Keys's you know, driving and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
And he played a bit of softball in his time.
He can he can, he can hit a ball.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
He played softball.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
He played a bit of softball. Girls sport, but he
played it. And the table yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, but his short game is rubbish, like his parting
and Hoy's putting.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Hoyt will miss the three foot a short.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
As part of seems to have no middle.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Have you considered maybe some kind of dity tactic then
around making sure they do have to part everything?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Well, we do have to.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
You do have to put everything in the ambrose.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Yeah you do.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Okay, but if you've got hoodie do missing three foot
is that's quite good?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah, he he's yeah, but the things have you got?
So he just can't flush on with the Is that
what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
He can't seem to find the middle of the.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Somebody can't find the middle of their pudder. He can't.
Sometimes you just can't get the distance. An eight foot
punty just cannot get the ball to the hole.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Because he's too weak. And then he's effing and Jeff,
I mean, I.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Think there's only nine holes and apparently there are carts.
That doesn't help us because because he'd be shattered.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
By the end, especially if it's an into the wind hole.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
So what's Mowgi's role?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I imagine he'll be just an agitator like he did
last time. He checked that he was making sure that
we were ticky bow, that we were counting, because there
was allegations that we hadn't been counting our shots properly.
So then he followed us, okay, and we and he
and he and to be fair to well, not to
be fair to him, but he did. He did pull
us up on about three different issues that he had.

(08:39):
There was a cleaning place that he wasn't happy with.
There's a couple of other issues that and but if
we had given them all three of the you know
contests that he'd put up, we still would have won
by like two shots.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Was I still here when that was going?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah? You were. He came with us off.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
It was a hot day. It was like tolted in degrees.
It was probably eighteen degrees. Yeah, that shut up real quick.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah, you know you're going to run into on the
old mighty Chamberlain.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
You can see it has just been to the gym
down now before it as well.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
She's interesting, press up, all right, should we go do it?
Let's do it. Tune in to Radiohodu at four o'clocks
afternoon if you're listening on a Wednesday, find out by
how much we want.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
You bet a fucking win. Boys. I know you better
when come on, I don't want you to show your face.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Around out a decent bloody round when you boys.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Coming and hit tomorrow. If you don't win, I'll be trying, man.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
She I'll be giving up my hand and I'll tell
you what if we do when we won't be coming
in on the last Friday.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Hey, do I play the song to go out?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah,
