(00:00):
Where did you run this weekend?Philadelphia? The and what was the What
was the race? It was calledhalf because sour, how half crat?
Okay, let's come out. Ihave to see it written down the Okay,
it was half sour half kroud.Yeah it was. That was the

(00:23):
name of the race. Uh huh. And well like crowd, I understand
what it is and I understand ifyou take sour and krowd put them together.
It's what was the race though? It was a half marathon? The
you ran a half marathon? Didwe know that she was running this weekend?
I didn't know that race was thisweekend. But you told us you
were running this race? Yeah?Really, I told Diane. She asked

(00:43):
what I was doing. Oh,I guess I just don't ask what everybody's
doing. The h came up whenyou were talking about like the most popular
half and full marathons in the US. Oh, the pig running in Sinsey
or something like that, tme pig. But didn't this one? You?
I thought? Christen at the timementioned then she was running. But did
you know she was running this weekend? No? Oh yeah, no,

(01:03):
I had no idea until Kristen sentus a text. Okay, Danyan,
don't shake your head yet, Christian, what did you? How many half
marathons have you run? Now?This was my eighth, your eighth half
marathon, and I forget have yourun a full marathon? No? No,
are you going to? It's onmy bucket list? It is.
But when you think after eight, you'd be like, let's just get one

(01:25):
over with. I say that afterI finish, and then you're just like,
now I'll do half. How longdid it take you? This one
was two and a half. Butwhat I didn't know it wasn't the normal
half marathons I do, which arelike downtown in a city. This was
in a trail area, like abike trail, and part of it a

(01:48):
mile mile and a half of itwas like in the woods on a tiny
trail. Oh really, which Iwas upset about because I have specific trail
running shoes, right if I wouldhave known, and it didn't say that,
And even Mike read the paper andI'm like, I'm literally walking right
now, Like there was a lineof like twelve of us walking because you

(02:08):
can't run right, and so we'relike we all were like, what the
heck is this? A woman infront of me? I shouldn't laugh.
She fell and rolled her ankle okayon a branch, right, and then
you run through the creek, andso we're like, what the heck?
Okay. Also a lot of peoplein Philly don't refer to that as being
the crick But you had to runthrough water. Yeah, ooh that's weird.

(02:31):
It was, And again I wasn'tprepared for it, but it didn't
bother me. But I was alsolike, this is annoying because it seemed
like the twelve of us that we'reall together, we're not expecting to go
into the woods. Right. Hadrecent weather conditions made that the course's condition
or was this just something you guysdidn't get the heads up on. Didn't

(02:53):
get a heads up? Yeah, like what condition would take place on the
road where they have to run youthrough the walk though crick bed is dry?
Oh yeah that could be. Thatcould be. But no, you
just had no idea that was commonanyway, that's neither here nor there.
But during so eight half marathons inYeah, but you did something during this

(03:13):
half marathon that you have never donebefore? Yes? And what did you
do? I peed my pants?I was about eight miles in and I'm
like, oh, I think I'mpeeing and didn't know you were peeing.
No, my mind wasn't focused onmy bladder, right, Wait, well

(03:35):
you knew you had to go.Yeah, And I kept looking for porta
John's or whatever. No, thatwas something else. No porta Johns except
for at the you start and finishwas at the same spot, right,
So there was porta John's there, not a lot. So I peed before
the race, about half hour beforestart, and then normally I yeah,

(03:57):
all of them. I've like peedonce during the race. Is that just
from drinking so much water while you'rewhile you're going, so normally during a
half marathon you pee once? Yeah, I stop him pee? Right?
Is that normal? Yeah? Iguess it would be. Well, I
guess for a lot of people,it would be normal to pee during the
race. Yeah. Normally there's Portajohn's. Like oh really yeah, but in

(04:18):
this case none, No, andyou just your pants. Yeah. I'm
like, well it's happening there,I go, I'm peeing. Was that
like super uncomfortable to continue on?I was already sweating and I know you're
sweating, but that's like a that'snext level. Well, the thing is
this may be t m. Iit wasn't like a down it. I'm

(04:40):
sorry, it wasn't like a fountainat once, Like I let a little
bit out and then I kept running. I'm like, okay, a little
more's coming out. And then I'mlike, all right, pants, So
should we be worried about your abilityto control she had pelvic floor? Well,
I'm like, well, i'm oldernow, so maybe old. How

(05:02):
old are you? Thirty five?Thirty five? Okay, you could control
your urinatee? Yeah, thirty five. I probably could have held it because
it was just a couple more milesto go, But or you could have
split off in like Pete in thewoods. Well that's the other thing I
was going to ask, because werepeople doing that? Yeah? I saw
a woman do that, because sheshe started walking out of the woods,

(05:23):
and I'm like, oh, sheeither won or two died it. But
but that was something else. I'mlike, my clothes are going to stick
to me already, Like it's gonnatake a longer time to find a spot
in the woods and squat and peeand then try to pull my pants back
up. So I just kept ongoing. Could the other runners tell?

(05:45):
I don't think so? So youhad enough of a design or a color
on your pants. Black pants, they were like red and gray and black
swirled so darker red sponsored by poise? Was it? No? But you
know, for a lot of people, it's hard to make yourself pee or

(06:09):
poop yourself. I don't know whatI would do if I pooped my pants,
Like I would be so embarrassed. So what I've done the throughout your
underwear, Well, I've pooped them, you know, by misjudging of fart,
but not well I'm running, butthat may have been not well I'm
running the other part, you know, when I'm like no, no,

(06:31):
no, no, no no.But you guys are just you guys?
Are you guys are hearing the words? You're not listening. I understand what
you mean. You've had an accidentin your pants before, yes, But
what you mean is you don't knowwhat you would have done if he like
you obviously made a conscious decision atsome point to pee your pants, if
you would have had to do thatwith poop, you don't know what you

(06:53):
would have done. I understand whatyou're saying. Yeah, I mean I've
never been in that situation. Like, I've definitely had accidents but not where
it's been intentional, like where it'slike at some point you just go,
I'm not making it there, Igo and you let it go. Well,
normally for my races, I'll takea dump before I get to the

(07:14):
starting area, and then about anhour after I dump again. And sometimes
means because you threw it out therefor a sentence that wasn't tm I at
all, and now it's TM Ishould disclaim. Well, I don't want
to run on a full belly, right, so I always make sure I
dump hard and fast. Rule Tyler, I run all the time, but

(07:40):
I guess I don't run in racesis dump. The only way you're allowed
to describe going to the bathroom.I carve up and I dump d This
was my first time in the Phillyarea, right, that's maybe that that's
something no, no, but Phillyis very nice. I did not get

(08:05):
that impression, right, Okay,Well you also had a bad experience your
your race didn't go the way thatyou were expecting it to. I only
know like two people from the Phillyarea, Right's wife Lindsay and Roach,
Right, And I'm just like, this is a disgusting city. So I
hope they don't get offended. Itwas so I felt. What about Kaplan?

(08:26):
Oh, yes, it's Kaplin.I love him right hands the Yeah,
I'm going to disagree with you there, I'm gonna I when I when
I lived in Philly, I reallyenjoyed Philly. I really did well.
I stayed downtown, right, whichis great. I was felt so unsafe
even because he was out of townlast week. Lived downtown. He flew

(08:50):
into the Philly Airport, which Ididn't realize how massive that is. Well,
you know, it's a major city. It is. It's a major
city. It's pretty big. Phillyis a major city. But so picked
him up from the airport. Amounts and mounts of trash everywhere, cigarette
butts. Oh, well that's partof the charm. I thought maybe you

(09:11):
were recently there. Yeah, disgusting, all right, So okay, So
all in all, it was bad. It was a bad experience for you.
But where I ran was very niceand clean, except for the ur
It's called Penny Park north of thedowntown by the creek. The is it

(09:33):
Penny Pack Park? Thank you?The crik is the Delaware River. All
right, Well, I don't wantyou to hold that against the city.
And congrats on you making your firstpee. Thanks. Well, yes,
I told Mike if I won't evergo there again, unless unless we do

(09:54):
like a show trip there the ohyou've got a horrible read, a horrible
read on Philly. We would liketo go to a sporting event because those
aren't like downtown. All the venuesare actually downtown. No, we got
I mean they're south, they're southof like center city. Yeah, but
that's Philly and they're not out inthe suburbs. No, but like I

(10:16):
like that they're all together, yes, all the parks, Yes, in
the arena, Yes, that wascool. Yeah, they're all right there,
but they're not downtown down, they'renot in center city. Yes,
I understand that. All right, very good, very good. Thank you,
Christian, thank you. Oh mygod, wow, not to unpack.
I knew from the text he wasgoing to get into the tea and

(10:37):
the pants. Did she ever giveus a sense that she was hating Philly
all weekend? She mentioned that tome this morning. Oh you knew that,
Yeah, that she hated it,Yeah, but I didn't. I
didn't know it was to that leveldistemfort. Wow. Wow. My other
note was just very simply how didyour how did your tumor test go?
On Friday? I did have anappointment eight am Friday morning, and it

(11:03):
was very funny because the nurse whowas getting my vitals, which we're very
vital because we're talking blood pressure, heart rate, things that could be affected
by a brain tumor and done ata CBS, and I was telling her
how my friend had a brain doesnot care well. So she at one

(11:28):
point stops and says, wait,so you have a brain tumor And I
said, no, no, no, no, no, my friend does
I think I do? She's like, because of the discomfort and ache in
your head, and I said, yes, I think it might be a
brain tumor, but it could beother things too. It just shouldn't be
there. You should have chronic painin your head for weeks, right,

(11:48):
And she said, okay, thedoctor will be in to see you shortly.
And wait before the doctor comes in. Uh huh. Three people sent
me notes on Friday. Okay,uh, Devin. I just went to
a cardiologist because my Apple watch wouldn'tread my heart rate anymore, and I've

(12:09):
had terrible anxiety about it. NowI have an echo on Saturday. I
feel you Tyler, So that reallywasn't your condition. Ummm, I've had
hard issues in the past. Here'syour condition. Oh. I was told
they were in my head shingles.Oh god, shingles emulates from where your
skull meets your neck. I gota tumor like formation there when I was

(12:31):
forty five and then developed shingles shortlythereafter. Under stress. You are much
more likely to get shingles at ayounger age, so they thought maybe because
you talked about how it was kindof in your head but at the base
of your neck, A base ofthe head, top of the neck,
right, yes, And then somebodyelse said, this sounds serious, Tyler.

(12:52):
Almost as serious as that time.Ten year old Tyler went to the
doctor with quote coldish symptoms called back, I still have those notes on my
back that I've not taken them outyet. Oh thank god. Anyway,
what did that? So the dotcomes in? Mm hmm, And I
explained to her, I leave myfriend out of it because that's confusing,

(13:16):
and she, uh, wait,so then, how did you explain that
you think you have a brain tumor, I said, I I changed the
wording too, I think I havea mass in my head. Or something
like that, like there's something thereand now I don't have other than my
friend. I don't have a lotof experience with brain tumors, But is

(13:41):
it common for them to prescribe afacial exercise to help you get over them?
Like? What it is? Itis? It's a no, No,
it's a chin tuck. You makeyourself have a double chin. I
guess that will strength. I don't. She didn't really explain how that prevents

(14:07):
it from being malignant. Oh,it can't spread when you pull the chin
back. So I don't think shethinks it's a brain t like it does.
She just think that you're maybe you'resleeping weird and doing some head exercise
will loosen up that muscle. Wedid a lot of stretching and she felt
it. I did go for anX ray. She did have me go

(14:30):
for an X ray. The resultsfor a normal No kidding, you didn't
even I thought you were gonna say. They didn't even actually put film in.
It was just click, click,it looks good here. No,
I've never had an X ray ofof my head, So are you serious?
Yeah, I've just had it onmy obviously my elbow, and I

(14:50):
think my my chest, but notof my face. I was a little
nervous because you're just even though it'stotally fine. The doctor didn't seem nervous
at all with my symptoms. I'mstill thinking, Oh, on the other
side of the glass they can seemy brain to her, which maybe from

(15:16):
all the chin talks in the office. I had already shrunk quite a bit
to cus. So I'm for thenext month, I'm supposed to do this
facial exercise. Yeah, it's welljust one. It is literally just it's
a chin talk. Make yourself havea double chin. Well have you been
doing it? And does it feellike it's getting any better? I can
answer that, has he been doingit religiously? I do it, Yes,

(15:41):
every moment I think of it,like driving and stuff. I had
been doing it. Oh. Sothey didn't say for fifteen minutes in the
morning. They just said, hey, whatever you know, I mean,
this is all a placebo. Doit as much as you want. Insurance
code chintuck is and I'll put infor it. Maybe she did say reps

(16:02):
and times, but there was justso much relief that it wasn't a tumor
that I didn't hear her through thejoy the joy was very loud. So
but in a month, if ithasn't gotten better, I am supposed to
call and go back. Well,it doesn't look like it's better yet the
way you're sitting. Oh no,it's still her. Yeah, it's still
there. So I expect I've hadit for a month. I expect that

(16:26):
you'll have it for a month.No, I expect you'll have to go
back. I'm not so convinced.A tumor is there a looking down of
my head is going to stop thecancer from spreading? God? When was
where was this decades ago? Formy brother, who would have thought all

(16:48):
that time at New York Hospital, all he really needed to do was just
tuck his chin and he would havebeat it. So Lindsay was happy,
mostly because she thought I was overreacting. I didn't even tell the story over
the weekend to the couple of familieswe were with at sporting events. It's
smarting by the way I saw howit went with the nurse. She didn't

(17:11):
care, and that point we stillthought it might be a tumor. Hell,
she thought I had a tumor.I didn't. I just didn't tell
the story. Well, but Ido still have the pain tumor like symptoms.
So in a month I will callhopefully. I mean, if this,
maybe this will do the trick.I wasn't doing the facial exercise before

(17:33):
my appointment, right, but nowthat you've been doing him since, but
you don't feel any better. Butthat's only been since Friday. Look at
you. There you go, I'llmake chance. I got two. That's
I mean, you're doing it right. I am the great corn holio.
That's what that's what your chi, that's what your jaw looks like. And
I can't. I can't. Yeah, I'm saying I'm on my shoulders up
too much. That's actually I thinkthat's where I did myself. At disservice,

(17:56):
she asked if I had any historywith head and neck injuries subscoliosis.
I told her I had frozen shoulders. Oh Jesus. So she was like,
oh, mental patient. She said, I know what this is,
Goucko. I told you it's notmy normal doctor. But they were able
to get me in, which Iwas very appreciative, appreciative of, and

(18:18):
I'm saying for the radiology center. But when I said I had frozen shoulder,
she said both of them. Isaid, yes, and I said,
I noticed you seem a little surprised. Is that because when I was
in my mid thirties, I wasnot a middle aged woman, to which
she said, yeah, that's that'sweird thirty something, And then I think

(18:41):
that she started to think, Oh, I bet this pain is kind of
along those same lines. Oh saythat she's very professionally professional. I'm not
just crazy persons check cash is also, I'm not unhappy with the appointment and
the way it went, and Ilove that I was able to get some

(19:03):
imaging done that day, but it'sjust not what I thought it was.
But that's for the better. Wouldn'tyou if I came in here and you
waited until nine thirty to find outI had a brain tumor, you'd be
kicking yourself. But it's like you. You didn't think I had a brain
tumor from the get go. Sowe can wait. We can wait on

(19:25):
this update. Not only can wewait, I'm gonna let christin pisser pants
first, then get to the Iget to the tumor. But it's ongoing.
Yes, and this isn't the endof my journey. No, not
at all, not at all.Line three, Hi, elliot in the
morning. Hey, I've had chronicheadaches since December of twenty twenty one,

(19:48):
and I was positive I had abrain tumor as well, and I have
had well. I've had physical therapya couple of times, and I did
learn the chin tuck, a bigone for them. But I have had
every treatment known to mankind, frommedication, accupunctured physical therapy, dry needling,

(20:11):
botox injections to the back of myhead and neck, cervical facet injections,
trigger point injections. I've had allof the imaging. Why do you
think you have a brain to headaches? Though? No, I did it
first, and then the first thingthey did was the MRI and everything,

(20:33):
and they ruled out any kind ofmass my head or neck, right,
okay, all right, and nowthey're just trying to figure the rest of
it out exactly. God, thatsucks. That sucks it. Yeah,
it's I'm a medical mystery, theytell me every time I come in.
Nice to meet another one. Yeah, congratulations, welcome to my world.

(20:59):
All right, very good, verygood. But you don't have a headache,
No, No, it's just apain in the area. A credit
to the office. They're the onesthat told me it was more like an
ache, and I liked that becauseI had never I had described it as
a sensation and a feeling. Butache doesn't suggest pain. And that's what
I was trying to get across withwhat I explained to you on Thursday and

(21:22):
again at the doctors on Friday. No, but aches can very much be
painful and pains aches and pains likebut think of somebody who has a toothache,
they say that's horribly painful, orpeople with back aches. It could
be horribly painful. And toothaches canbe a sign of a deterioration of brain
health. And of course if othersymptoms pop up like then, I called

(21:48):
immediately ahead of the month check in. Even they gave me a form as
if I couldn't remember how to tuckmy chin, and the forum's got a
bunch of other different exercises on it. And my kids were like, oh,
you have necks spasms And I said, no, no, no,
but what is a psychiatrist or shrinkHow does that help? I just I

(22:11):
just do the neck the chin tucks. That's the one I do on there.
We ignore all the other exercises. Those are for crazy people. One
simple head exercise, double chin. All right, good good, Well,
everybody's healthy. Everybody's healthy. Well, I'm gonna check on Kristen's pelvic floor.

(22:34):
You should, and she'll check onyours. You should both be doing.
