The money could be better spent doing something else. And

And yeah, I really appreciate that and the work that
they're doing. If you don't know, the Golden State Valkyries
are the WNBA team in the Bay Area. This was
their inaugural season and it was really cool. They made
it to the playoffs their first season. And it was

a lot of fun because I got to meet some
of the players and really just engage with the community,
which is what I really love to do, and also
play some awesome music.

So that was a really good time.

And I went to a resort for Olivia Cruises. It's
like a women's vacation line. And I've been DJing for
them for years. But this time we went on a
Punta Cana in Dominican Republic tour.

I was with one of my best friends, Janine, and
I had a great time and some of the best
DJ sets I think I've had ever.

So it was fun. And Christy, you also bought a house.

on my couch, which wasn't going to happen.

What was the big controversy about that? That's one headline
that I didn't kind of go down that rabbit hole. Like,
what was the controversy about that?

I think for a lot of people, they felt like
this is an extravagant show of wealth, number one.

Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
It's unnecessary for the impact of the environment and the
way that people were hyping up the story and referring
to them as astronauts and talking about them as if
they were, you know, breaking down barriers and going to space.
And people were like, they're celebrities. This is a rich

person's activity. It's a fun thing for them to do.
The money could be better spent doing something else. And
then when they came back, when Katy Perry landed.
She kissed the ground, and she was really excited, and
she made, like, some statement. And people are like, oh, gosh,
you didn't just, like, discover, you know, a planet on

the moon.

You went up in Jeff Bezos' toy, essentially.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, but she was, Christy's saying, which sounded kind of real,
saying she was an astronaut now.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
And people were very upset. Like, really, in order to
be an astronaut, you got to go to school. You
have to put in your dues. You have to really
earn money.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
That title, you don't just get to go on your friend,
the billionaire's rocket. And so I think that's why people
were kind of upset. I think it was misplaced. I
don't think these women should have gotten the hate and
vitriol that they did.

I mean, other celebrities have done it. William Shatner did it.
Other celebrities have done it. It doesn't seem like it's
that big of a deal. But I'm an airline pilot
because I did fly on an American Airlines flight actually recently.

I can't think of anything significant except for the fact
that I really did a lot of DJing for the
Golden State Valkyries.

You know, kind of stepping into a role to really
be one of their go to community DJs and just DJs.
And yeah, I really appreciate that and the work that
they're doing. If you don't know, the Golden State Valkyries
are the WNBA team in the Bay Area. This was
their inaugural season and it was really cool. They made
it to the playoffs their first season. And it was

a lot of fun because I got to meet some
of the players and really just engage with the community,
which is what I really love to do, and also
play some awesome music.

So that was a really good time.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
And I went to a resort for Olivia Cruises. It's
like a women's vacation line. And I've been DJing for
them for years. But this time we went on a
Punta Cana in Dominican Republic tour.

I was with one of my best friends, Janine, and
I had a great time and some of the best
DJ sets I think I've had ever.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
So it was fun. And Christy, you also bought a house.
I did buy a house this year.

Yeah, that's pretty big because you were asking to sleep
on my couch, which wasn't going to happen.

I did buy a house and got the heck away
from the Horrible, creepy HOA.

I think you guys already know. I practically settled down now.
I met a great guy. That's cool. I think that's
pretty significant. I thought I might have been single forever. No.

person in my life. So and it's been going really good,
really fast and pretty easy.

I mean, I'm sure there's certain areas where if you sit,
it's a lot better. But one of our co-workers here,
she went to go see The Backstreet Boys at the Sphere.
And she said it was great. That the experience, it's very,
very visually entertaining. Like, it's really, really cool.

But I will. When I go in May, I shall

Brian May of Queen said that he went and saw U2.
And it was the most amazing thing he's ever seen.
So I thought, okay, okay, got to check it out,

you've seen, Martha, they're showing The Wizard of Oz. Oh, yes, yes, yes,
that's very cool. They have apples that fall out into
