Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, Joel malcoln Ford WJ and O dot com and
the Florida News Network, and we have a candidate on
the line with us right now. And this is for
the Republican primary for governor. Of course, we know that
Byron Donald's, the Florida congressman from southwest Florida, is in
the race. Well, we have a second candidate that we
(00:22):
know about. We don't believe there are any others, but
Daniel Imperado is running as well. Daniel, thank you for
joining me.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You're welcome.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
All right, let's let's get some information on you. First
of all, talk about I know you had a previous
run for office, and I want to talk about that,
and I want to talk about your work background, and
you know, basically, just give me, give me a little
bio on you here and when did you come to Florida,
et cetera.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Well, I've been a resident of the state of Florida
for forty seven years, as in the forty seventh governor
in the next seat.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Start in the.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
State at the blizzard of its seventy eight from Boston, Massachusetts,
when Lawton Charles was governor.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
I have more experience with this.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
State than most, especially than my competition right now, mister
Byron Donalds. I bring an extensive global experience. I ran
for president in two thousand and eight with Ross Rowe's
team as an independent. I ran for governor in twenty
ten as an independent. I ran again for president in
(01:28):
twenty twenty three. I contracted COVID three times in a
row as a Republican. I had a withdraw So I've
decided to give back to my state. I've been here
for forty seven years, and I know this state inside
and out, backwards and forwards, all the goods and all
the bads, and I'd like the opportunity to serve my
people and give back what the state gave to me,
(01:50):
which has been a great life.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
If you don't mind expand a little bit more on
your work experience, are you Are you still working now
or I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
A very interested candidate because of my background. First of all,
I come from a street smart education. I was named
street Smarts for God by Zigligua's trainers many many years ago.
I visited over one hundred and fifty countries around the world.
I've been involved in businesses, infrastructure, roadways, telecommunications, all kinds
(02:21):
of projects around the world. As well as real estate,
shopping center development, regional regional park development, and I bring
a very unique experience to the table pertaining to what
we need for the Fourth Revolution and the new direction
of our world, pertaining to AI and AI infrastructure, as
well as a political background and geopolitical background as a
(02:43):
Papal Night appointed by Pope John Paul, as a Grand
Prior of the Soegn Order of Bonnaria, as a copticarten
Knight of Malta with over fifty years of experience and
around the world studying business, political and religious aspects. I
know the customs, I know the people, and I believe
that I'd be a great governor for the state of
(03:04):
Florida because I bring a very special, unique experience that
not too many people can match.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Okay, and going back a second a little bit, I
believe when we were talking about Byron Donald's that you
said you are more experienced than Byron Donald's. Would you
like to explain that one.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Well, first of all, I've been here for forty seven
years and I probably have underwear older than him. And
I visited over one hundred and fifty countries around the
world as a businessman, as well as a political candidate
I've supported, you know, how should I say elections worldwide?
I'm really a presidential candidate. I'm presidential qualified, but the
(03:46):
presidential seat right now is held by our president Donald Trump.
And I've decided to give back to my state because
at my age.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
You know, you never know what's going to happen.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
So I'd like to give back to my state what
the state gave me years of a great life.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
So you don't want to wait another couple of years
till twenty eight to run for president again?
Speaker 3 (04:05):
I guess, well, actually it depends upon the race of
governor as to how it stands. But at this particular time,
I don't think there's a candidate in the race that
can compare with my education, experience and ability to represent
the people.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
As I tell everybody, a vote for me is a
vote for you. I'm one of the people.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I'm not How should I say, good looks and pocketbooks?
Candidate that's been involved in the deep state and what's
going on in our country for many many years, which
our president is, you know, fighting to try to resurrect
or change good, bad or ugly, at least he's trying,
and as a presidential candidate at this particular time, it's
(04:46):
not available. We'll see you know what comes later. But
I can tell you this, I am well qualified to
be governor of the state of Florida, and I believe
that there's no one in this race that can compare
with me. I challenge anybody, including our governor and mister
Byron Daniels. Donald's whatever his name is, I don't know
it off top my head. I see it sometimes as Daniels,
(05:08):
and then I see as Donald endorsed him. I know
President Trump endorsed him, but that was early on. I
know our president for forty years. So we'll see what
our president does pertaining to the support that he wants
to throw behind a candidate that is predominantly from the
same cutting of a cloth as he was, being a
(05:30):
Northeast learner, street smart guy.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
But I bring a very different diplomatic.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Aspect as well as a real estate and infrastructure aspect
of having an audience of a global strategic relations that
I believe can build a state tremendously, and that's what
we need. We have issues with jobs, we have issues
with the income as far as medium income and the cost.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Of living, especially now in light.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Of the fact of what happened with the condominium Association
and the problems we've got up and down the state
and the Gold Coast. It's a massive headache and it's
putting people on the street. So we need a governor
that not only can govern in the state, not necessarily
from the legislation part of it, but that can build
(06:17):
a state, build jobs, bring an infrastructure, bringing new green technology,
understand the AI and the Fourth Revolution and what's going
on in the future, because we're to crossings right now,
if the next governor of this state isn't well equipped
to enter the Fourth Revolution and to understand what's going
on in our geopolitical system and be able to position
(06:40):
the state to be a leader in the United States,
to be in icin back in twenty ten, Florida First,
I believe that I'm well qualified to be an example
in the state in the Union, and I am surely
well qualified to lead this state to be one of
the greatest economic booms in the country. And I will
(07:00):
be able to work with our President Donald Trump and
our federal system of law because I've been heavily involved
in federal government and local government, and I understand the
eight is that how it works, and I believe that our.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
System is really how should I say, out.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Of order, and COVID did a lot pertaining to that,
but it's not changed. And we're in a situation here
that the state of Florida, in my opinion, is going
to make it or break it.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Situation.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
It has nothing to do with whether it's Democrat or
Republican or independent. It has nothing to do with whether
you know, black, white, yellow, green.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
It has to do with the leadership at the governor's
level that has a.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Variety of experience from eight is that that's going to
be able to lead this state in the next fourth
revolution of AI generator AI and automation and autonomization, as
well as political aspects and regulations that must be you know,
limited because the people can't afford.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
It no more. The bank fees are crazy. You got
to go. You have such a situation here in the.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Condominium association because of the collapse of the building in Miami.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
This has been done, in my opinion, you know, off
the cuff.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
And you know, as they say this is Florida could
become the next homeless state like California, because it's the
cost of living has gone skyrocketing. And it's purely from
not from bad legislation, more than legislation that wasn't thought out,
and it combined it with the medium income and the
state as a whole, because they're not business people that
(08:42):
are running the state.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I mean, Governor on DeSantis did a good job. He
was appointed by.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
You know, Donald Trump, but in the reality, he didn't
have the experience to be governor.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
He was, you know, appointed by by our president.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
I would I am experienced, I would, Daniel, I would
correct you on that. He was not appointed.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
De Santis was ran for governor two times in one.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
So just to well, Donald Trump's appointing him and anointing
them and adopted him.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
And and I know that personally he put.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
His he put his he put his back political, he
put his support well, he put his support behind him.
But we should put the voters. The voters appointed, the
voters voted him in. But nonetheless, it's it sounds like, yeah,
you're you're pretty critical of the governor, the the property uh,
property taxes, property insurance.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
That appears from the news side of things, Uh to
be if you want to be critical of Florida. The
biggest issues, right now and the biggest concerns am I correct, Well, yeah, the.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
The the the collapse of the building in Miami created
a knee jerk situation that you know, and I'm not
critical of of of Governor the sat this personally. I
think he's a nice man. But the state is upside
down the state. If you try to do anything with
the state, whether it's the Child in Families Division, or
(10:11):
it's the revenue division, or it's just opened up a corporation,
you can't get any service. There's no one working, there's
no one in the offices. Then you've got to collapse
in the building in Miami. That created a knee jerk
situation pertaining to the condominium associations where even in my
(10:32):
own situation, I live here in the plaza where Trump
Plaza used to be Trump Plaza, and.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
The associations out of control.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
They've slapped us with a couple hundred thousand dollars special assessment.
Said that it was a mandatory special assessment and it wasn't.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
And this is going on all over.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
The state to enrich you know, the contractors and the workers.
But more importantly, I think the state needs to look
at and I know Governor sant this is here on
beach auditing with his you know, dulged position to you know,
basically align himself with Elon. But at the end of
the day, there's too much corruption, there's too much fraud,
(11:11):
there's too much bakshish, and in general, not only Florida,
in general, our country is asleep.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
The COVID situation has done, you know, created the remote work,
and the remote.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Work has created an environment that we're in a moronic era.
So it takes a very special individual to be able
to curve this state into the leadership position in a
you know country, and I believe that I'm able to
do it, and actually in my sleep, this is a
cakewalk for me.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
It's all about the people. I'm here for the people.
I'm one of the people to vote for me, to
vote for you. That's it.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
I have no you know, I have no angles, I
have no family to know, friends to I'm just one
of the people that's been here.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
For forty seven year years.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I challenge anybody, including the President, the Pope, or the
governor to sit with me in an interview, and I
challenged them to interview with me and debate with me
because my experience is the best teacher, and God knows
I have a lot of it, and God leads the way,
so I'm following him.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
If people want to know more about you and your candidacy,
where would they.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Go www dot Imperado for Governor twenty six dot com.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
All right, Daniel Imperado, and you are filed, right, you
are in the running for the Republican primary.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I've been filed, and actually it took me a month
to set up a corporation because the environment.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
The state of Florida up in the state. The girl
said to me, mister Imparada was so sorry.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
With six months behind, couldn't even get a corporation set
up as a joke. And then when it came to
doing the filing with the state, the people were very nice.
My filing got lost. They said, oh, you shouldn't use
USPS mail because it's no good. They sent somebody to
go pick up the filing at the post office.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
It disappeared.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
We are in very difficult times pertaining to stern management,
strict regulatory issues pertaining to jobs in the state working
for the state, as well as linguistic in languages as
well as the ability to integrate legislation with the Business
Environment to increase the median income because the median income
(13:33):
does not equate to the cost of live in in
the state of Florida. And again I hope that the
people know a vote for me is a vote to you.
And I'm not doing this for the chair. I'm not
doing this for notoriety.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
I've got enough. I'm doing this.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
To help my state, help my country, and help my people,
and God.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Leads the way.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Daniel Imparado for Governor twenty twenty six. Thank you for
joining me.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Thank you, God bless
