start getting like a happy medium there. It's great to
work hard, but we've got to find a balance. I
think working hard is a great character trait. So where
does Texas rank on the newly released lists.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Of the hardest working states?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well, the top three North Dakota, Alaska, and Nebraska.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I was kind of surprised about that.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Wow, Yeah, they looked at the average work week hours
and the average leisure time per day. Texas comes in
as the seventh hardest work in America.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Okay, I think that's a happy balance there.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, hard, hard work, but not you know, extreme, and
where I come from, New York number forty nine anyway,

the cost of children sports has increased dramatically over the years,
and many families they just can't afford it. But there
is an organization We're going to change that and bring
relief that thou of Houston area families by paying their
sports fees, one kid at a time.

overnight when I was jumping rope Anthony.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
The sky was beautiful. This is such a gift.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
We are going to see six planets Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune,
and Saturn. Tomorrow night's going to be the best night
for this so called planetary parade.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's sort of in a line, but not perfectly.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Stress now, Wednesday, like I said, will be the best
night to see this phenomenon. Saturn, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter
will be seen by the naked eye. Neptune, Urinus. You're
gonna need some high powered binoculars. And the next time
this incredible situation takes place January seventeenth of twenty twenty five. Oh,
exciting planetary parade.

one in Houston's Best Variety of the eighties, nineties, and Today,
Dana in the Morning and producer Anthonys were reminiscing about
our first dates and what we ate. And it's all
because our nearly impossible question this morning that the majority
(04:46):
of us have apple pie for our first date food.
And I think it's kind of common sense. It's sort
of a bland dessert that's yummy, but it won't put
like blueberries in your teeth or chocolate, you know, so
it's yet your dessert. But you don't have to worry
about the the embarrassment of food in your mouth.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
I know that it is a thing.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So we're asking you first date foods. Do you remember
We've got Greg calling in from Kingwood.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Now, you work in air conditioning and you guys went
to out back on your first date.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Heis, what did you eat? And what did she eat?
She ate chop?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Okay, I bet you love that.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Huh she does?
Speaker 1 (05:26):
I don't that's why I got the steak.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Yep, yep. What about dessert, Rember, what the dessert was
called back then?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
But it was just some sort of brownie and ice
cream mix. Yeah, that's perfect, perfect, And did either of
you get food in your teeth?
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Probably?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
But we have this thing where now after we eat,
we smile at each other just to let anything teeth.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, that's a little bit horrible. Oh my gosh. That's
a great strategy, really is right.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
How long did were you together before you came up
with that idea to help each other out.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
We have a bunch of little idiosyncrasies that you know
only you and your wife or husband can develop over
that much time. Of course, of course I love that. Yes,
we can do that with Bob. Now you just saw
a really great wow mob.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Love. What's your wife's name, Karma?
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Well, Karma is a lucky lady, and I think you're
a lucky guy, Greg, Thanks for sharing her with us.
