Dan This is so sweet. There's a Girl Scout Out
in Katie who was honored recently at a ceremony for
saving the life of her two year old cousin earlier
this year. He was ten year old Isabelle Carrosco.

She was having a fun with family and friends at
her birthday pool party in Katie back in May. All
the kids were taking turns hitting this pinata when Isabelle
suddenly hears a splash. She turns to look and sees
her little cousin struggling in the water. Without even thinking,
she jumps in after her because she just knew she
needed help. She grabs the girl around her chest under
her arms holds her up to the surface. Her troop

leader says the girl absolutely could have drowned had Isabelle
not been there. So at the recent ceremony, Isabelle received
the Girl Scout's Life Saving Award and also received a
Medal of Honor, one of the highest honors given by
the Girl Scouts. They say she's a testament to the
highest principles of the Girl Scout promise and law and
embody what it means to be a girl of courage,
confidence and character who make the world a better place.
