to us by our friends at Goodwill Houston. Well, she's
originally from Houston, grew up in the city's Fifth Ward,
now lives in Minnesota with their three amazing autistic children,
but she's coming home to Houston to help after the
weekend drowning of a five year old autistic child. This
is the third Houston case in the last several months.
(02:02):
Chaletta Bruntledge is her name, and she is a passionate
advocate for autistic children and keeping them safe. She says,
I'm a mom with a mouth, and she wants to
keep children with autism from dying. She has learned with
all the therapy, it's not gonna work. If the kids
(02:22):
aren't home safe, they tend to wander. So she is
going to be coming here on Saturday with the special
electronic locks yep Ten to noon. Shalita is gonna be
with a fort Ben County Sheriff's office handing out one
hundred electronic locks to families of autistic kids so they
(02:43):
won't wander off and she can keep help keep them safe.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
She used to invest in the eighties nineties and today
seven twenty one, I'm data with producer Anthony and we
might see some showers today on another feel like summer
day to day. Even though we're in fall, we're gonna
go up to ninety three. Right now, it's seventy eight
and uptown. Mark and I my boss, we've been talking
about falling in love, and he heard you mention that
Jess didn't want you to get so wrapped up in her.
(04:51):
You know, she wanted to make sure that you didn't
become obsessed with her and you had your own life.
Of course, Well, Mark's texts me, the girl I was
in love with in college didn't want me to be
obsessed with her either, so she moved to Italy and
married a cyclist.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Oh so to find out he found the woman of
his dream. It really did work out. They just moved
the countries. We are talking about what falling in love
does for you? Is our nearly impossible question.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, and uh, apparently falling in love makes us unproductive.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
We're too focused on them and not sex or maybe life.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
I guess exactly. And we're asking you your love story.
And we've got Mikayla from Memorial. Now you've got three
year old Stacy and four year old Tim, and we're
asking you falling in love? Did it make you motivated
or less productive? And made happy? But probably less productive
because I was more happy.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
With what I was doing at the time. Thank you.
So where did you meet your husband?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
A day you guys both having breakfast and you looked
over at his table or how did that go down?
Speaker 3 (05:59):
The grand I was like, well, I guess you've met
on social media, but our first date was that Denny.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Oh okay, you guess you met on social media.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
How did that meeting go? What happened?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Well, we were in like a mutual little group chat
with one of his friends and he ended up reaching
out to me and then we ended up meeting up there.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Wow, So what did you order it? Denny's that you
knew this was a match made in heaven. I actually
got like that little cheap, little French toasting that's.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
On the deal. Oh yes, yep.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
And I guess the fact you didn't judge me.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Was good enough. That is so funny. What's your husband's name?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Tim? Tim?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
So did you know right away that this was the
guy that you wanted to time with and have his babies?
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Pretty much. When you're like, you're a fine with me
ordering your cheap stuff, We're.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Good, Yes, my people, And are you glad that you
made this decision? I mean now that you've got a
three year old and a four year old Stacy and
Tim Junior.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
How are things going? They're going great. We're loving it.
That is so beautiful.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So she she's one for the less productive because she
was more focused.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
That's how I was just on her. Tim. How long
have you guys been married?
Speaker 1 (07:11):
And then six year together?
Speaker 2 (07:14):
That is awesome.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Oh I'm so glad. What a happy story in it
all happened to Denny's. Thanks her sharing love and thank
you so much for listening to Sonny. We appreciate you
and we always make it family friendly so your kids
can listen to. Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Appreciate you. Mikaela.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Let's sit over to bay Town and speak with Julius. Julius,
have you ever fallen in love? Oh?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, I remember when I was like thirteen years old.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
I remember running to my girlfriend's house just to see her,
and then running back to a pace phone and talking
to her again.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Oh wow, thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Thirteen years old and you remember it like yesterday? Well
does that love story have a happy ending? Are you
with that person?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I'm still with her all thirty years already. Whoa, that's incredible.
And was she just as much in love with you
or did it take her time way about me? Beautiful?
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Cool. So it sounds like you got more motivated when
you fell in love, less rather than less productive.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
What's your wife's name? What was it about Cindy that
you just could not get over.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
The way she looked at all? That is excellent? God,
you are you are. That's a great story, Julius.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Thank you so much for sharing, and we appreciate you
guys listening to us. Yes, ma'am, thank you
