Her name is Mary Adkins, and she says going with
her dad to vote became a tradition that continued until
she herself was eligible to vote and for context, back
in nineteen forty eight, her first election would have been
the one with Harry Truman, that famous Dewey defeats Truman

Susan says they made a bit of a stir when
they went to vote.

This is actually one of my first times that I've
gone early voting, and I actually went on a Friday,
and I realized why there was so much traffic every
day when it was crossing the street in the area.
So it was it was nice to go because it
was pretty quick and convenient, easy to find a parking spot.

Oh you never I mean, if you go to Harris
County their Harris votes dot com, they actually have this
feature on their website where you can see how crowded
each location is on election day.

Yes, but with early voting, you kind of just walk in.

There's two or three people there, walk right out, walk
right out right.

wasn't two or three, but the line moves very quickly.
