Sunday ninety nine point one in Houston's Best Variety of
the eighties nineties and Today Dana in the Morning and
producer Anthony with the three things you need to know
about the winter storm Endzo And today is Tuesday, January
twenty first, and yeah, we do have this winter storm
morning until six. We're watching this person. We're on the seventh.
(00:22):
This is a wild scene. We're watching a person in
the parking garage next to us in a Porsche, got
to work in a porch, amazing driving in the snow.
And I'm like, does he think that he's better than
something like the Porsche the brick going to not be
affected by the snow and the ice.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
That they are way braver than I I am.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
We had to go up the hill. I know. I
think he's afraid now to go down the hill. I
think you do know is I know? I think you're
staying there for it anyway, stay home. This isn't going
to stop. And the weather outside is frightful. Oh it is,
so be careful and everything's closed, schools, businesses, air you know,
you're working from home if you can the city and
(01:03):
Enzo is bringing the sleet, the snow the winter mixture,
just like forecasters said, three to six inches possible, and
we've got weather alert days both today and tomorrow. And
to drip or not to drip well. The public works
people are saying, don't let your faucets drip. It could
affect water pressure. But by all means remember shut off
(01:26):
your sprinkler systems. And Mayor John Whitmeyers just saying stay home,
use common sense, let's get through this together. I mean,
it is literally a It is snowing so hard right
now on the Galleria, it's like fluffy snowman snow, actual
snow that half snow. If we could get outside and
like jump into the snow off the seventh floor, I'd
(01:48):
be making snowmen right now.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's absolutely beautiful as long as you're safe at home
to look at to look exactly exactly, So be aware
and use common sense and remember check on your name.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
And the reason we don't want to get on the freeways.
People will need help today. Let the emergency first responders
get to them without having to dodge you. Hey, that's
the way we're going to play this, and then we'll
see what happens this afternoon. It's supposed to get sunny
by three. We'll see, but it's going to stay cold
thirty three maybe thirty five for the high and right
(02:21):
now twenty seven in uptown and snowing and Europe to
date from Sunday ninety nine point one, tell me something
good brought to us by our friends at Goodwill Houston.
There are going to be so many good Samaritan stories
coming out of this winter storm, Enzo. But right now,
I love the fact that the Houston Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is reminding those of us
(02:44):
with outdoor pets to please bring them inside just for
this short period of time as temperatures linger in the
twenties and the thirties, and it is actually illegal if
you keep them out chained up in this kind of weather.
It's that the Safe Outdoors Dog Act. And make sure
you check on the water. I've got three outdoor cats
(03:06):
and the water's frozen yesterday and I was like, ooh,
got to remember that, so keep refreshing the water so
they have access to water if they don't go inside.
One cat is out in the rafters in my barn.
The other two cats I was able to get inside,
so they're safe and comfy and warm. Forni, Sir Anthony.
Speaker 2 (03:24):

featured on Shark Tank recently offering up restaurant quality buh
at home in mere minutes. It's called Delicious, created from
Josephin and Trude Ale.

on the business and grew up in Vietnam. Vietnam and

big point for them. They say it's all about the broth.

create that signature flavor. And they're pushing to get more
of their Folicious on more shelves. They were on Shark

continue to snow, that's for sure. I'm Dana with producer
Anthony this historic winter storm Endzo. We've got the warning
until six this afternoon. So here's the way it's going
to be. This snow is just going to keep coming
down or wet rain or sleet. It's kind of like
this wintery mix until this afternoon. Now it should stop
around one, but temperature is going to only be thirty three,
(04:55):
maybe thirty five, so it's going to accumulate and stick
around for some time. So stay home, stay away from
the roads, just like you've been doing. And then and
it should be sunny by this afternoon as well. Right
now it's twenty seven in Uptown, and since everyone's home
safe enjoying the snow with the kids, we thought we'd
(05:15):

day and play some snow related Christmas songs and we're
asking you to call us our number seven one three
