of our State address over the weekend. He said, we
must pass school choice this session. He's making it at
an emergency item on the agenda. He also wants a

in career training, cybersecurity, bail reform, and teachers increase teacher pace. Finally,
we will get that happening this session. Well, another plane
scare this time it happened yesterday morning at Bush Airport,

four passengers and crew were able to get off the
plane while it was still on the runway, going down
slides and stairs until they could get on another plane
that was functioning properly. And six more weeks of winter.

We're gonna have highs in the low eighties all this week,
and forecasters say, though don't rule out another freeze, it

McGregor Elementary School in the third ward the sound of
brass instruments wafting through the air thanks to William Thomas
the Second and his students. He is their music teacher.
He is also a three Grammy Award nominee. He went

to school at McGregor Elementary back in the eighties and
now he has come back. He's only been there for
a couple of months and he has come back to
teach the kids. He plays the trumpet amazing yes, and
apparently it runs in the family. His dad, Bubba Thomas,
also a Grammy nominated Musicians musician. He got five nominations

throughout his career. Well, the kids love William Thomas the Second,
they said, even though he's only been there once, they
really notice that they are improving big time. So it's
so good to have such a committed teacher. It is
William Thomas the second. Keep up the good work for

Dan, This is really sweet. There was a cat spotted
on the roof of an apartment complex during our recent
winter storm that's now up for adoption. See the tabby
was spotted on the third floor of a complex on
Briar Grove near West Timer. The Houston SPCA, Harris County
Precinct one Constable's Office and HFD all responded to try
and rescue the kiddy. Well, remember this was the snowstorm,
so when HFD couldn't safely reach him because of all

the icy conditions, there was a good Samaritan who lives
at the complex stepped up. Save the day.

This guy scales the side of the building, manages to
grab the cat, and carries it to safety. He was
all checked out by the SPCA. They named him Jalen,
keeping him warm and cozy, and now Jalen is ready

leave behind in hotels phone chargers. Such a hassle. That
was our noly possible question. I started thinking about hotel
stay experiences. What's it been for you? Have you left
things behind? What happened? Share it with us? And we

have got Cayden calling in from the Memorial area. Cayden,
we're talking hotel stay experiences. What was it for you?

Okay? So it was my well my soon to be
our anniversary women to Austin Stay downtown. I'll save the
name of the hotel for their sake, but it was
an experience. We we were there for about six hours. Hotels
started flooding. Whoa on the I think it was on

the twelfth floor or something. Uh Pole far area. We're drinking,
having a nice bite. Sprinkler system goes off. Two hours,
two hours, floods about on the sixteenth floor. However high
we were up, I don't know, three or four inches
of water up there down horrible goes down. The elevator

shaft hadn't turned the power off. We were stuck up there.
It was a nightmare. Turn the ac off is bad.

Oh no, wait now now we're were you on an
anniversary getaway with your with your now wife or fiance?

Yeah, well soon to be fiance.

She doesn't know yet, but oh okay, we won't say anything.

it's the Asian tradition that water is the sign of
a good long marriage.
