Sunday ninety nine point one Houston's Best Variety of the
eighties nineties. And today I'm Dana with producer Anthony and
we have got the three things you need to know
to get your Tuesday, February eighteenth started, well, we have
got some crazy weather. Governor Greg Abbott saying this might
be the coldest weather event of the year. In some spots,
the cold front could be the coldest event ever marked
in history. In Texas, he said that yesterday it looks
(00:25):
like it could have a wind chill in an Amarillo
of negative twelve in the next several days, an inch
of snow in North Texas. But for us, when are
we expecting all of this? Well, we're going to have
this afternoon sixty three. Then the rain's going to come
in nighttime lows in the low thirties, upper twenties, and
we could have wind chills as well. And this is
(00:47):
going to be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Fortunately, no freezing rain.
Cold weather advisories already for Austin, Colorado, Rhymes, Trinity, Walker
and Washington Counties. Well, Texas is set to dethrone California
as the most populous state by the year twenty forty five,
Realtor dot Com said we're gonna hit forty two million
(01:09):
people in the next twenty years. That's from thirty one
million now. Yep, the population they say exploded during COVID
as we had less stringent requirements or health restrictions than
other states. Now. Weather today, like I said, it's going
to be comfortable. We're going up to sixty three. Got
some showers moving in this afternoon. Then the temperatures start
(01:32):
to plummet. It's going to be cold in the thirties overnight.
Let's see Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, Friday morning. It could
be freezing, but no freezing rains. So that's the good news.
Right now, we're at fifty three in Uptown and you're
up to date. I'm sunny. Tell me something good brought
to us by our friends at Goodwill Houston. Well dads,
of course, they want to walk their daughter down the
(01:53):
aisle on her wedding day. It's an unforgettable moment. But
just weeks before Michelle's wedding date, her dad had to
go to the hospital. His name Michael Dela Crose. He
had to go to the hospital for surgery. It was
November twelfth well, it was to fix an aortic valve.
There were lots of complications that developed. They had to
(02:15):
induce a coma. When he awoke, he couldn't walk. While
Michelle's wedding day was set for twenty fifth, Michael not
only wanted to walk Michelle down the aisle, but he
wanted to dance with her as well. Well. Through much
incredible therapy, it happened. Wow, Michael walked Michelle down the aisle,
danced with her. The wedding took place at this beautiful
(02:38):
Binder's garden. It's in Needville. I was checking out the website.
Beautiful rustic Wedding. Bindersgarden dot com is the website. And
congratulations to Michelle and more importantly, you're very determined, Dad Michael.

for the last school year. Children at Risk was the
group that produced the rankings, and they use markers like
student achievement on standardized test, campus performance, student growth, and
college readiness. And after analyzing over fifteen hundred schools in
the area, we had nine different schools earning an A
plus ranking. Carnegie Vanguard High, dh Rogers School, Stafford, Stem

the greatest programs in sports history. Now, I want to

himself all day long so he can eat anything he

goal anyway, exactly.

No, well, I'm single, so usually it's just with my children.

they eat? Or do you guys talk about maybe what
your day was like at school?
Speaker 2 (05:37):

You just you want to be happier, so you don't
watch the news anymore? Mental health correct, Yes, I feel
