Speaker 1 (00:00):
We've chronicled before that four and Emily are a little
bit of aggressive drivers, a little bit of road rage.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Little happen from time to time in there.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Gotta be efficient efficient Yesterday, perfect example of perfect example
of somebody who wants to get from point A to
point B in the fastest situation possible. I was coming
back from PB yesterday and there was an accent on
the five and the Apple Maps told me it would
be seventeen minutes extra.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
I'm like, oh my god, oh so I see on
the five.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
You know where you can get off of that, like
that airport exit you go down Pacific Highway. Kind of yeah,
I got I get off there, go right past all
that traffic, get right back on the freeway, and I'm
gone save myself seventeen minnutes. My wife was like, that
was really impressive, and I'm just like, I know, babe, babe, it's.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Kind of attractive.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
Oh God.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
All those idiots staying on the freeway, you know what
you know, to stay on the freeway, Where.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Do I gotta be? I want just driving home. I
wanted to go home, But you have some patience. Don't
need to relax.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
I mean if everybody did that, then that road would
be all jacked up.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
So let's just.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
You guys were stuck. You guys would be stuck there.
I'd be at home, my.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Feet stuck there there. How is that possible? Yeah, so
clearly they're idiots. Just wait if you think.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I have harsh what did she do? Emily did something
behind the wheel?
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Whatever it is, I.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I don't know that you would like I don't know
that anybody would, because it's one of the craziest things
I think anybody could possibly do. But ill that you
explain yourself and tell everybody what it is you chose
to do.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
I think it's that you have no patience. I don't
have the most patient, but you have zero. I have
some's some I don't have patience for people that are
lollygagging around.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
That's what I don't have. Hate it, hate it.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
So yesterday I was driving to pick my son up
from school.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Every day.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Every day.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Can't walk bike.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
It's not working right now. He's got a little bit
of a battery issue. He needs a new battery now
for it. He got a bigger engine and so the
battery matched the engine, and so we're going to buy
it for him and then he doesn't. It's a little
bit of grade slip up. Happened to kind of.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
This?
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I cannot but anyway.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
We live in the masa. Buto he goes to school
Lemon Grove.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Oh, how interesting I live in the masa. I don't
know what's district.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
District boundaries are weird? Okay, thank you very much. So
anyway to answer question, why is that riding his bike
to school, it's a little bit where he lived or
where he goes to school a little bit farther, okay,
kind of a shifty air in some spots, so hey,
excuse me. So anyway, So, yes, I do pick him
up from school every day thor and yesterday I was
going to pick him up from school. Obviously there's a
(03:10):
bunch of stop lights along the way because it's a
couple miles away. And I was sitting at one particular
stop light at a pretty busy intersection. But I'm sitting
there and there is a police officer in front of me.
He's at the front car at the red light. And
then I'm the car directly behind him, and the light's red.
The lights red.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
You always feel weird when you pull up behind a
cop or cop cools up.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Up behind me, I feel weird.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
And I always feel like if it's highway yeah, and
even if it's a highway patrol, like most time it's
high patrol, but like if they're driving, they can't speed
gun me while they're driving. But I always fel like
I need to slow down and get out of their way.
I don't want to be around them, and then I'm annoyed.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
And I'm annoyed because I want to go faster but
I can't because they're there.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
What I get it, I get you. Yeah. So I'm
right behind the cop when we're at the red light,
sitting there waiting for the light to turn green. And
then the light turns green. Well, I'm ready to go
right when that light turns green because I can. Sometimes
I look at the lights on the sides, the other lights,
and I see when those are starting to turn yellow
and red, so that I know it's.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Time you need on.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
The light turns red, you have like a split. You
have a second or two before I.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
See a change.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
I go, here we go.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
You're not taking someone to the er.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
You're doing your daily screen.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Emily and I would be phenomenal uber drivers because I
don't want to talk to you. I want to get
you from point A to point B as fast as
you can. You're never going to miss a flight. In
my uber them, I would give.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
You the lowest review. I've been in a car with you.
You're weaving and almost everybody else what you're getting there
with plenty of times, but my life is in danger.
Give me scary, buckle up what you'll be fine. Just
buckle up. We'll be on the back of the head
of the head rest.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
You'll see it. One star.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
I just gave a guy a really nice tip in
a nuber recently because he was moving and grooven.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
I wouldn't have done that, but I would have gave
him five stars right there, right right.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
So we have to stop light and then the light
turns green, and then I know that I'm getting ready
to go. Well, the cop in front of me didn't
go right away, really, so I'm I mean, we're talking.
A couple of seconds have gone by. Obviously, A couple
of seconds to me is like an eternity to like,
about five seconds have gone by and the light's green.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
That is a long time.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
It is a long time. So I could see, you know,
through the back window of the police car. I could
easily see him. It's super bright daylight, and I could
see him looking down, probably at his computer or whatever
they have there.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
And so he's looking down.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Hey, and another few seconds go by, probably about seven
to ten seconds have gone by, which is a lot.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
You don't believe it.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
In Emily's world, seven seconds is really like two.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
So it's like it's like when a guy says he
slept with five girls with it's one seconds is like
three seconds.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Okay, maybe that's not true.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
It is true, And so he's not going he's looking down.
What do you do when you see somebody in front
of you a normal car? This is maybe not paying attention.
Maybe they need to be alerted that the light screen.
That's he's just a human being. So that's when I
go to my horn and do a little.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
You honed it? Wow?
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Do that?
Speaker 4 (06:51):
That's a risk.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
You honked at a cop, That's a risk.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
I gave him a little just to It was just
a little.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
I don't barely hit. I don't care.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Did you Once you did that and he turned his back,
did you yell out? It wasn't me?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
See No, I didn't.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
I would have just lived behind that like, I'm just
gonna this is my.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
New home until he leaves.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
I'm staying here.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Well, then I see him not go right away, and
I could see him like I said, yeah. He looks
up at his rear view mirror and shakes his head
slowly like like not cool, and then he proceeds to
go forward.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Did you have any thought or fear like he's gonna
like I can't do that.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
My stomach sunk and I went, oh my god, oh
my god.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
But at the.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Same time, but I ain't doing it.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
But at the same time, it's not illegal to use
your horn.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
You're not moving.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
What would you have said he pulls you over? Do
you hunk at me? What would you have said?
Speaker 5 (07:55):
I did. I'm sorry. I thought maybe you didn't see.
The light turned green and I was just trying to help.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
You're not gonna drop. I gotta go get my kids, and.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
I gotta go get my kid.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
That's what I I'm so sorry. I gotta go get
my kid. With the light was green for.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
A while, needed a little reminder. I didn't think you
were paying attention, so I wanted to let.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
You know you're going to the cleaning.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
The clinker, the clinker.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
It's the clink, yeah, clinker, that's what it's going.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Just to be clear, I'm pro five. O what I'm
What the hell are you saying? I'm pro blue I do,
I'm pro five, I do.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
I get you know, there's they have a very extremely
hard job, and I understand that. That being said, no
one's above the law. Okay, And if you're gonna sit
there clearly on your cell phone, I'm going to give
you a home.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Sorry, keeping don't.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Careking at his police please please there.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Well you know what, officer Dan moved to the shop
on the side of the road and look at your computer.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Okay, pro five, Oh, but ones above the wall. You
need to be treated just like the rest of us, buddy,
That's what I think he can.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
He can do things that we can't.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Do, just like the rest of you know, what is
the law? Is a cop and training day, he's not.
He can if he has to go through a light,
he turns his lights. But you know, I wish I
could if he if you had to call him, if
you had to call in and he's like, I gotta
check this words of that you're waiting that.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
He should have flipped his legs and wait, you wait,
that's true. You should have flipped his lights on, rolled
down his window and told you to go around.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Well, he didn't expect some psycho behind me on the.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
I don't know if they teach us some police school,
but when light turns green, you're supposed to go that, right.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
I don't know if they teach that you're going to
the clinker?
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Click?
Speaker 2 (09:57):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Just to be clear, PROFI If not, I don't know
that you are. I'm all this guy. I'd be all
over this guy.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
What do you If you pulled me over, I'd be like,
what's the problem?
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Then he then he's gonna work you over a little bit.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
And knock my head light out.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I'd like for that to happen.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
A little coke right there.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Look, this guy's got what's.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Drives around coke sometimes for somebody like you the planet. Yeah,
that's a that's an insane move, dude. You don't stand
stand by listen, you do that, you're the wrong cop.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
That's a bad day, you know.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
As soon as good night.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
As soon as the wrong cop comes by, I immediately
pressed for cord on my phone.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Let's sit there has to say.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
How do you know you know what, because he listen.
Nobody likes getting honked out. I get it. I've been
a victim of this. I'm on my phone trying to
be on I'm looking for a new song or.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Something like that.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
You've got multiple tickets and I've never gotten convicted and
somebody honks at me. Initially you're annoy but at the
end of the day, I'm in the raw, right So
I get that.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I'm in the and I usually go my bad.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
You're also not a police officer.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (11:18):

no one's above the law.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
