I did go to the closed circuit event for WrestleMania
three at the Oakland Coliseum or No, it was the
Cow Palace. Mean, so back in the day, there wasn't
pay per view or anything like that, so if you

wanted to see a WrestleMania or something like that, you
had to go basically to wherever they were showing it.
And so they showed it live on closed circuit TV
at the Cow Palace in San Francisco like a watch
party kind of, you know, but they had giant screens
and stuff like that, I think. So, I don't know.
I was very young, so I don't really remember, but

I mean it was amazing, wow, you know. So, uh yeah,
I never actually been to a live WrestleMania, but you know.

I've been to a Summer Slam. That's that's the best
of I've done.

That's like their summer WrestleMania. It's like their second tier,

top WrestleMania matches of all time, their top forty. Yeah,
so they've been counting them down and all that stuff,
and you know, that's been going on. I've totally disagreed
with it so far Thor has disagreed.

I like about Eddie with WrestleMania and with sports is
that we both agree in like you have to add

I've seen every match, and so a great match is
something that we're still talking about to this day. You
can bring it up absolutely for the first time ever
in the w W Hall of Fame this year they're
inducting a match. So it's always been wrestlers in the UFC.

UFC is always they might always, but in the UFC
they will put in fights. They have like a fight
wing and they so if they'll they'll induct fights. So
now we're doing matches, I guess for the w W
Hall of Fame, so very interesting stuff. Looking at all
of the different matches and all the different WrestleManias, it

became pretty clear to me who was going to be in.
It was just the order really of trying to get
them right now. I will start with number ten, my
number ten WrestleMania match of all time. I'm going to
say this.

I believe that this number ten is in there because

Cody Rhodes finally finishing the story and beating Roman Reigns
should probably be at number ten. It's not there were
so many things that bananas that happened in that match,
with like the Undertaker showing.

John Cena showed up, you know, seth Rawlins showed up
in his shield gear with that. Really but I mean,
Cody winning finally was a big deal. But it's it's

is from WrestleMania three, Hulk Cogan versus Andre the Giant.

I am absolutely stunned right now. He's more of a
wrestling I'm a wrestling a seventeen man. He's a resuming
a three man. This is considered one of the greatest
moments in wrestling history.

WrestleMania three was in front of ninety three thousand people
in the Silver Dome. It was the most insane spectacle
I've ever seen in life.

It was the big one.

Hulk versus Andre was the reason that that many people
showed up for it. It was humongous. At that point,
they said Andre had never been beaten before again wrestling,
he'd never been slammed, which either Hulk actually sam him before,

that kind of stuff. And so when he slammed him

for the first time and Hulk beat Andre. It was
one of the craziest moments in wrestling history. It's legendary.
The match itself isn't great, say number two, Andre was
very beat up at that point in time in his life.
He couldn't move around very much. The fact that he
even allowed Hulk to pick him up and slam him
was a big deal because, I mean, his back was

so trash. I mean, this was a seven foot five,
allegedly five hundred pounds man, and so you know he had.

number nine WrestleMania match of all time is from WrestleMania
twenty seven, Triple h versus the Undertaker. The first match, Yes.

multiple times, including those two guys. Uh there, There's basically
two different matches that happened between Triple H and the Undertaker.
There were also two different matches between Seawn Michaels and
The Undertaker, both incredibly legendary matches. This first one with

Triple H and the Undertaker wasn't even supposed to happen,
like they they neither one of them had an opponent,
and Vince McMahon was kind of like it, and then
both of them came in. They were like, well, why
don't we fight each other? Yeah, they did, and then
they put on this unbelievable match that kind of stole
the show, and it was the end it would take
her being carrot carted out.

No, it was Triple Ah was beating him and he
thought he was gonna win, and then like Triple H
got caught and got put in a submission hole that
taps out, and it was just like it made me romance.

Match, and so I'm just surprised. I'm surprised did it
made the list at all. The second one was going
to make the list more than the first one. I
didn't think the first one was going to make the list.

Oh wow, it was great coming in at number eight.
This is where it's going to get crazy. What Stone
called Steve Austin versus the Rock wrestling son of a Bitch.

I mean, this is the greatest match. This is a
top two match of all time. It's one of the
best matches. That's insane start finish. It wasn't even the
best match on the card. I mean I disagree, it.

anytime you get those two giant names great. But the
match itself good, very very good. Yeah, obviously it's in

such an affinity for At the end, Austin shakes Vince's hand.

Resar Ramon versus Sean Michael's ladder match for the Inner
Continental Art ladder match.

So they use a ladder, so they hang so and
most of the time it's for a championship. They hang
the championship of the ring above the ring and you
have to climb up the ladder to retrieve it to
win the match. Well, what the whole time before the
whole time they're using the ladder to hit each other,
push each other off, jump off, those kind of thing.

They'd never done that before. Though Brett Hart says he
invented it, he wasn't involved in this match, and this
was like the first one, and they.

Too much, and there was two inter continental titles because
they were both well no champions because Sean was he
was either suspended or what it was, and he kept
his belt, and then Razor won the championship, and so

Coming in at number six is actually the best match

Wow. Yeah, again something that had never been seen before,
you know, something like that. It was. It was so unbelievable.

Yeah, and for wrestlers have all this energy, but then
when they climb up a ladder they lose all the energy.

it up, they can never make it. This is this
is crazy.

five WrestleMania match is the match that's being inducted into

make sense to me that this is the match that

they chose. But whatever, unbelievable match Brett Hart versus Stone
called Steve Austin in a submission match WrestleMania thirty double turn.

Brett Hart fan. By the end of the match, you're

versus the Undertaker WrestleMania twenty six, second match in their series.

I thought you'd have this one second match in Yeah,
because he loves this matches, the second match in this
year at this point, mister WrestleMania versus the Undertaker of
the streak.

Undertaker went twenty one and oh at WrestleMania he had
never lost until he finally lost to Brock Lesner, but
at that point he was still had the streak. And
so these two had wrestled the year before in what
some say the greatest WrestleMania match of all time, and
they said they had a rematch, and Undertaker said, the
only way I'll rematch you is if you put your

Seawn lost, so he had to retire, which he did

to talk about you as a kid. He as a kid,
I've never seen a match like this. So there's something
in wrestling I just mentioned it called a false finish
where you go to pin, you think the match is
over and they kick out miraculous.

But back then, Ricky was the good guy, and so
I was cheering for Ricky Steamboat and he had never
won the Intercontinental Championship, and so he thinking he was

he finally beat Randy Savage, Oh nothing better. It was
the greatest match of my I have ever seen. At
that point, I was like, this is this is why

number nine WrestleMania match of all time is from WrestleMania
twenty seven, Triple h versus the Undertaker. The first match, Yes.

See the first Okay, go ahead, Eddie, wait, I think

So you're gonna see a few guys on this list
multiple times, including those two guys. Uh there, There's basically
two different matches that happened between Triple H and the Undertaker.
There were also two different matches between Seawn Michaels and
The Undertaker, both incredibly legendary matches. This first one with

Triple H and the Undertaker wasn't even supposed to happen,
like they they neither one of them had an opponent,
and Vince McMahon was kind of like it, and then
both of them came in. They were like, well, why
don't we fight each other? Yeah, they did, and then
they put on this unbelievable match that kind of stole
the show, and it was the end it would take
her being carrot carted out.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
No, it was Triple Ah was beating him and he
thought he was gonna win, and then like Triple H
got caught and got put in a submission hole that
taps out, and it was just like it made me romance.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
That's crazy, but but yeah, you know it was. It
was unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Match, and so I'm just surprised. I'm surprised did it
made the list at all. The second one was going
to make the list more than the first one. I
didn't think the first one was going to make the list.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Oh wow, it was great coming in at number eight.
This is where it's going to get crazy. What Stone
called Steve Austin versus the Rock wrestling son of a Bitch.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
I mean, this is the greatest match. This is a
top two match of all time. It's one of the
best matches. That's insane start finish. It wasn't even the
best match on the card. I mean I disagree, it.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Wasn't even the best match on the card.

Did the best error and wrestling history ended?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
You want to talk about and ending that that ruined.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
It ruined the attitude, it ended it. But like so
why would why would I that great insane moment? As
a kid, I cried, what.

See you have? You have serious issues?
Speaker 3 (08:34):
So from the moment it started, wrestling, usually there's lagging
matches where the guys on the ground. This match was
intense from start to finish to build up the my
Way Limp Biscuit video. It's still talked about today.

I mean, you're the only one that talks about it.
This was this is insane. Listen, great match. You know, obviously,
anytime you get those two giant names great. But the
match itself good, very very good. Yeah, obviously it's in
my top ten, it's number eight. But like I said,
if you're not even the best match on the CAR,

I wouldn't say that, then you're sorry. Yeah, I don't
understand what this guy's talking. I mean, he just has
such an affinity for At the end, Austin shakes Vince's hand.
It's a big moment.

It changes, it was awful, changed the course of wrestling.

But it already lasted like two months. It was so stupid,
But that's why. That's why I heard it, and you
know that's true.

This is on my favorite matches of all time. If
not my favorite, well, it.

Comes in at number eight on Thank You very Much,
coming in at number seven on my Best WrestleMania Matches
of all time. It is going back to WrestleMania ten
Resar Ramon versus Sean Michael's ladder match for the Inner
Continental Art ladder match.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
I get this.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
So they use a ladder, so they hang so and
most of the time it's for a championship. They hang
the championship of the ring above the ring and you
have to climb up the ladder to retrieve it to
win the match. Well, what the whole time before the
whole time they're using the ladder to hit each other,
push each other off, jump off, those kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
They'd never done that before. Though Brett Hart says he
invented it, he wasn't involved in this match, and this
was like the first one, and they.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Were now the regular happened, happened.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Too much, and there was two inter continental titles because
they were both well no champions because Sean was he
was either suspended or what it was, and he kept
his belt, and then Razor won the championship, and so
they both technically were champions. Should be on the list,
not higher than Austin Rock.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Without a doubt, much better match, much better, way, more story.
Coming in at number six is actually the best match
WrestleMania seventeen.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
The TLC match, not the gimmick by Fantastic.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
I did enjoy seeing you know, all those great but
no TLC first tables, ladders and chairs.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
You know, I was one of the most insane matches.
I think they were there one of the most insane
matches in the history of US.

So is the Hardy Boys, the Dudley Boys and Edge
Christian yes.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
People forget that. It was the second one.
Speaker 1 (11:15):

First was that Summer Slam. Wow, so what are we
doing with the tables and chairs?
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Anything you want, anything you want. So literally guys were
diving off of fifty foot ladders onto tables and just
insane things. There was moment when you know, a guy
gets speared out of the sky and he was a guy.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
On a ladder probably twenty feet in the air and
they go through four tables.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Wow. Yeah, again something that had never been seen before,
you know, something like that. It was. It was so unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah, and for wrestlers have all this energy, but then
when they climb up a ladder they lose all the energy.
Can make it of they can't, they don't climb make
it up, they can never make it. This is this
is crazy.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
I mean edge spearing Jeff Hardy the other thin air
was one of.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
The coin again we've never seen.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, the whole thing unbelievable. So yes, the TLC match
from WrestleMania seventeen, number six coming in as my number
five WrestleMania match is the match that's being inducted into
the Hall of Fame. Number five doesn't double swerve. Doesn't
make sense to me that this is the match that

they chose. But whatever, unbelievable match Brett Hart versus Stone
called Steve Austin in a submission match WrestleMania thirty double turn.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
You got as a kid. I'm watching, I'm watching the match.
Massive Brett Fart, Brett farv Brett Brett Hart fan, massive
Brett Hart fan. By the end of the match, you're
rooting for Stone called Steve Austin because Brett Hart turns
into a bad guy and Stone cald hers into a
good guy, which then kicks off the whole attitude r
what incredible. Absolutely Rock was referee, Okay, he is so.

High Stone Cold bleeding, don't call bleeding. I would share
never quit, never quit, never quit, just passed out, passed out.

And then Brett Hart turns heel by like kicking Stone
Cold while he was down. Stone Cold refused medical attention
and wasting his name.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
But a mark I was so I was so pumped.
So number five on my top ten WrestleMania matches coming
in and my number four WrestleMania match. Talked about it earlier.
It is the second match between Triple h and Undertaker
helling to sell WrestleMania twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
I would flip flop this and Austin Brett, but that's
just me. But this was a great matter, one of
the greatest kickouts of all time.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Totally agree with what you're saying. Undertaker said that it's
the greatest false finish in WrestleMania history.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
It was great because he got it here, it gets
two finishing.
Speaker 1 (13:49):

I thought sew Michaels went out here, kicks out and
shaw Michaels collapses into the side of the ring and cries.
I thought that was a little.

It's so insane that we're talking about this, But there
was seventy thousand people at the stadium going nuts, like
it's crazy. How popular is this?
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Well again, and the amount of damage those guys did
to each other. I mean, it's just that was a
brute It was a brutal match, a lot of blood,
which is the best. Yeah, it was crazy, so unbelievable,
unbelievable match coming in as my number three WrestleMania match
of all time. It was Streak versus career. Sean Michaels
(14:34):
versus the Undertaker WrestleMania twenty six, second match in their series.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
I thought you'd have this one second match in Yeah,
because he loves this matches, the second match in this
year at this point, mister WrestleMania versus the Undertaker of
the streak.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Undertaker went twenty one and oh at WrestleMania he had
never lost until he finally lost to Brock Lesner, but
at that point he was still had the streak. And
so these two had wrestled the year before in what
some say the greatest WrestleMania match of all time, and
they said they had a rematch, and Undertaker said, the
only way I'll rematch you is if you put your

career on the line, and so Seawn Michaels did.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Seawn lost, so he had to retire, which he did
and he did. And I wasn't watching wrestling at this point.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
I was.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Drugs, guys, I wasn't watching early.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Sean Michaels smile, Yeah, you did. The Sewan Michaels take
your series. Unbelievable. Those guys just were so great at
their at that time, so unbelievable. Yes, the streak versus
of the career, coming at number three, coming in as
my number two WrestleMania matchup all the time. From WrestleMania three,
(15:51):
Ricky the Dragon Steamboat versus Randy Macho Mansava. You want
to talk about you as a kid. He as a kid,
I've never seen a match like this. So there's something
in wrestling I just mentioned it called a false finish
where you go to pin, you think the match is
over and they kick out miraculous.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Which isn't supposed to happen when you get a finishing move.
That's why it's called a finishing move.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
It wasn't a thing until WrestleMania three when we had
a bunch of false finishes during that match. So as
a kid, I'm watching that, I'm like, oh, Ricky, Ricky's
gonna lose it. I was a big Ricky Steamboat guy
back then. Really now I'm a big Randy Savage guy.
But back then, Ricky was the good guy, and so
I was cheering for Ricky Steamboat and he had never
won the Intercontinental Championship, and so he thinking he was

going to keep losing him like, oh no, oh, he's
a live still. He's a live still, and then when
he finally beat Randy Savage, Oh nothing better. It was
the greatest match of my I have ever seen. At
that point, I was like, this is this is why
enough wrestling. I kind of ad too.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I'm shocked by this.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Coming in as my number one WrestleMania match of all time.
I mentioned it earlier, the first Sean Michaels versus Undertaker
MATCHIA twenty five. Go back and watch it. Really, it
might be the best wrestling match I've ever seen, not
even not even just a wrestling I've seen seen. I've
seen every match, I've seen every minuting.

It's kind of crazy.

I seen everybody.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
When it comes to most things, I like to argue
and go toe to toe, but when it comes to wrestling,
I got to deferred Eddie because no one I don't
know anyone in my life that has watched as much
wrestling as Eddie. He knows anybody.

I never stopped. I never stopped so during the bad years.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Yeah, which is crazy because the bad years are really bad.

But that match is the greatest WrestleMania match. There's no arguing.

Any any honorable mentions like brawl for All that Gun
and butter beets O dude parked on two little boys.
