Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's showtime, people, It's showtime.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Here we are, yes, buckle up for this.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
You're about to experience this show. How would you like
to get down with some real gangsters with the ringleader Eddie.
I'm weird and I have my weird quirks, but overall
I have a pretty normal sensibility the accountant and room
mothers Sky. I'm also not very brave nor strong the
enforcer thor Am I negative all the time? Yeah? Do

(00:28):
I have issues?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yea?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
And dressed in black from head to toe. Emmy, I
am a mix of trashy and classes. It's the show
and it starts right now. Well, we are a man
down today. I'm gonna get into what's going on with
Emily here in just a second. But did you hear

(00:52):
the big announcement or fifteenth Annual fifteenth annuals I'm Heart
Radio Music Festival presented by Capitol One is returning to
Las Vegas on Friday September nineteenth and Saturday September twentieth
at Tea Mobile Arena. This is going to be humongous, Manu.

(01:13):
The lineup has been announced, which wow, Yeah, I'm pretty
pumped about certain acts. Well, that's the thing. About our
festival is that there really is something for everybody. Like
if you like pop music, there's plenty of music for that.
If you like country, there's something for you. If you
like rock, there's something for you. So I mean in
classic rock and I mean there, it's crazy, it really is,

(01:36):
and that's what they do really well, really well. So
here is the lineup on Friday. You're gonna get Canadian
legend Brian Adams. Bryan Adams. Wow, that's like a knife. Oh,
it's unbelievable. That's I'm telling you right now. I don't
know how they.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Got them everything I do.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
It's unbelievable. For Brian Adams, I should just stop. Yeah,
anymoreday Friday, I would. I would pay to see that.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
It's probably already sold out just after you said welcome.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yeah, that's amazing. We got we got bad. Uh you got.
That's what you call nobody?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Which Brian do you like better? Brian from Backstreet Boys
or Brian Adams.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Don't do this.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
They named a spell different too. Damn, damn, that's possible.
Battle the Beast.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
You can't make the heart pick.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
We have Low Wayne, Low Wayne.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
A new album coming out? Yeah, ll cool J released
a new album this past year, not Bad. Oh there
you go, not bad, there you go?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
In fact that you guys love Maroon five. I love
them big Maroon five.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Since that great super Bowl performance that's Sky and I
love We've been on the tip of Maroon five.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Like Maroon five, but I don't know about that. One
of my favorite artists ever, Sammy Hagar performing is awesome.
And Tate McCrae, who you know, show maybe we can
have her in studios.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Here a new music video?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Why would she come in studio? Talk about the out
of any station in the building, she would come.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Out with her new music video. It's phenomenal, is it.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
She's a wonderful Do you even know the name of
the song?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I'm sure you could. I'm sure you could sketch the video, but.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
No. Okay, So that's Friday night, Saturday night. Holy smokes,
this is as big as it gets. We got the offspring.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Oh wow, wow, they're going to have Sky introduce them.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yeah they should. I would love that.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Or I could just sit in the front row and
when they kick off every song, I say, are right.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I think you should. I would do that. We have
Tim McGraw going to be performing. We have Jelly Roll
performing Mariah Carey what it's not Christmas yet? I know
she's coming out no Christmas songs, Christmas song? Who knows?
If I bring her on stage, maybe she'll do guys.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I think she has a few other hits.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I think, but I would like to hear it. I
would like to hear it. And Ed Sheering love she Wow.
It got a company songs out telling you this is
gonna be huge. Yeah, So we have a chance to
win them before you can buy them, starting today at
nine o'clock. So stick around for that for our big

(04:24):
iHeartRadio Music Festival. All right, So why is Emily not
here today? Great question? We get a text this morning. Now,
I don't know about you, guys. When you call in
sick to work, even if you're you're just sick and
you shouldn't come in, you still have to sound like

(04:46):
you're on your deathbed, right, there's something to that. And
then we all do it.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
It's a weird song and dance you do of Do
I call in sick?

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Do I not?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
And then when I do?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
What do I actually say?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
People really have a hard time calling Yeah I do?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I do too.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, My My wife is the same way, where she's
like she's legitimately sick, and I'm like, just call in,
Like I don't when people are sick. I don't want
to be around you when you're sick, Like you know
what I mean, you're doing us a disservice if you
come in.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, And I feel that way about other people, but
for myself the same thing. I'll struggle.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
I'll be like, no, I'll do a little different doing
what we do as a show. Like you, it's weird
to not beyond having show member missing, it's like calling
in sick if you're an offensive lineman, you know, like
you can't really do that. You're part of a team,
and so it's it's weird, you know. Or like I'm

(05:41):
the drummer for a big band. I can't really call
in sick and I've got a show to do, you know,
So it is weird. But we're in this small room
together and we all share space, and so if one
of us gets sick, then chances are we're all going
to get sick because we're all so close in here together.
So it is why to call in sick? Yeah, so

(06:02):
you don't, you don't really need to put on the
song and dance of like I'm basically debt, especially Emily,
who's usually the carrier. Yes, she usus a carrier. Yeah,
and give everyone else. Yes you still deny, but yes,
she and I get when you when you are texting
your boss or whatever, or you you know back in
the day when you would call in and you'd have

(06:23):
to kind of put.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
It on a ca or you could do what I
did when I used to drink, not show up at all.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
But that's crazy. I just I just didn't show up,
and then i'd come back like two weeks later to
ask for my check. Did you know you were done?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I figured, yeh, you know, I figured I was probably
done after two weeks.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Question, because this is something whenever I'm sick, I don't
know what time to send the.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Text because I try to do it as early as
possible because.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
I'm the first one up. But I'm scared that you
guys are still in your last like ten fifteen, twenty
minutes of sleep and if I text, then I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Wake you up.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Well, my phone that's on vibrate, okay, so.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Your phone my phone, Okay, So it doesn't matter. So
I can text whenever I realize.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I'm well, my voice just crack. Usually if I'm really
sick like that, I will you're coming down. Oh no, okay, there's.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Been multiple sneezes in the room. I've had that thought,
like nope, nope.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
If I'm really sick, I usually can't sleep, so I'll
text pretty early. That's your first thing, I do, you know,
because I know, like I have done, I.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Know he's sick. When I get a text, give four
if a text before that, you're the worst you've ever been.
You've never felt this bad before. This is the worst
cold I've ever had. It's the worst what ever it
usually is. Yeah, I mean maybe at the moment you
kind of feel that way, but I also know what's

(07:52):
going on. Okay, listen, we all do it. We all
do it, and so this text that we got Emily
is highly drum Let's just recognize this, Like, I'm kind
of I think I might call nine one one because
of how sick, like the welfare check. Well, this is
so scary. Uh. The text came into all of us
that said Hi.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
I thought that was an odd way to start, Like
she never starts her text with high Like we know
it's from you, Well, you have.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
To greet us.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
You don't have to greet us.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Came in at four o two in the morning.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Hi, Hi, with a with a proper, proper grammar comma.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, it was a comma. Hi, Comma. I've been up
with pretty bad chills all night and a fever, stomach ache, fatigue, headache,
I mean every symptom you could possibly throwing fatigue. I
thought was that's what got.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Be because that's not a common like word, like if
you're just talking to a friend, you'll be like, I'm
so run down, I'm so tired.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Do you think she?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Do you think she did? Went to chat GPT and
asked chat GPT to sound what's sick? How do I
describe being ready?

Speaker 1 (09:05):
The fatigue is a while?

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, Well, and I'm also taken aback by she has
chills and a fee because I feel that's a bit redundant.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
And I'd also like to know did you actually take
your temperature? What is what's your fever? Well you do
this hand thing, yeah, because if you're just hand you
don't know. Yeah, but if you actually took your temperature number,
I want to know what your fever is. I agree,
got a fever. Yeah, okay, okay, and so it says
it's not good. Wait, like what, I'm worried about her?

(09:36):
If you tell me it's not good, it's not good,
like I'm worried about it.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Like that's after you get like a diagnosis from the doctor.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
That like that, somebody tells you you have cancer. I'm
sorry to tell you it's not good. But no, she
has fatigue, not good.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I just did chat GPT and asked chat GPT to
create a text saying I'm sticking can't go to work.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
So I think this is an emily original because chat
GPT less drama. The chatter said, Hi, I'm not high,
I'm not feeling one today and won't be able to
come into work. I'll keep you posted and updated how
I'm doing. Thanks for understanding.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
See that that's a normal text, normal text, And it's
clearly I don't have any details of what what do
you feel bad? Like? What's wrong? What's wrong?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
You have fatigue? Yeah, that's important I need to know.
So she says it's not good. I'm going to stay home.
I felt not great yesterday, but it got worse late evening. Uh,
she was great in here yesterday. She had not one
complaint about anything. Let us know the hot flashes, Well

(10:46):
that is every day. Yeah, that is every day. So
that was nothing out of the order.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
So I was like, okay, and that that text came
to all of us, and of course, you know, uh,
you know, I'm going to respond. But I saw that
I had another text separate. So you got another text separate.
I didn't know what it was. I didn't know what
it was. I look and I see it's from my
girl Emily.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Oh, okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
The text reads, Hi, I've been up with a pretty
bat with pretty bad chills all night and a fever,
stomach ache, fatigue, he blah, blah blah. It's not good.
I'm going to stay home. I felt not great yesterday,
but I got worse late later in the evening. Wait,
she copied and pasted me separately the exact same text.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Now if you have a big fever's hay, you have
such a big fever.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I'm on the group thread of the text. She copy
and pasted it and then sent it to me separately.
It's a wild move. I don't so I that's the
one I responded to. I said, you know, dang, that sucks.
Helpe you feel better, blah blah blah. Well, now I'm
I'm like, am I a jerk because I didn't respond
on the group wondering?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I'm like, why is Eddie not saying any made He's clearly.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Skuy is extremely over the top. I'm so sorry that sucks.
Rest up and feel better.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
About the fatigue.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I did. I did.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I don't want my friend fatigue.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Yeah, and then me and Jamie just said feel better.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah. I like that. You wrote feel better explanation point.
Jamie responded, feel better exhalation point, the exact same thing
that you got to change that up, dude, can't you
can't say the same thing. Hope you feel better?

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Guy took four things we could say in one text. True,
that is so that kind of hurt us.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
That's the bonus of responding first, which I rarely.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Get to do.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Yeah, yeah, I did so no Emily today. Now my
biggest concern is actually not with Emily. It is with
thor because if you have a bad stomach and all
these feeders and stuff. What I'm worried about, you know, norovirus,
is if she has the neurovirus. But I didn't hear

(13:03):
any throwing up. I didn't hear he didn't say nausea,
which I'm surprised. Yeah, well, but if I hear neurovirus,
I will Now she'll never live this down. She she
won't be allowed This will be her feet. But what
you said, she won't be allowed in here for like
a week. No, it will be like COVID but worse,
she won't be allowed in here the rest of her life.
And I'll never let her live her down the rest
ofpect Also, if Eddie hasn't thrown up in thirty years,

(13:26):
so if you get the neurovirus, still won't do it.
Even with the It's not like I haven't had it.
I've had it in the past twenty years. You just
don't throw just don't throw up. We'll see. I mean,
I hope, I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I don't want This is all going to make her never,
This is all going to make her never want to
call on stick ever.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Oh yeah, this while break. Yeah, I'm just saying, yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I thought it was a wild move. The first of
all the dramatic text was was was unbelievable. But then
to copy and paste it and send it to me separately.
I just didn't even understand it. I'm on the original text. Yeah,
I just didn't. Hopefully she doesn't have the stomach fluid
and if.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
She does, don't come in the rest of the week,
the rest of the week, the whole Yeah, don't.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
We'll see. Have you ever wanted to go on a safari? Well,
I guess right now not a great time for that.
We're gonna see why they are warning people about going
on a safari in Africa right now. Coming out next
on the show A rock with five to three. That's
pop a road on the show, it's Rock one O

(14:32):
five three. Uh so, Sky, I know you're a big
aquarium fan, but are you a fan of like the
regular zoo? Yes? Uh, not as much, but yes, okay,
it's just the water aspect of it or what water World?

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Your favorite movie of all time?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
I do really like The Little Mermaid, though, that is true.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
There's something and this is gonna make zero sense, but
something about the water I feel like they're more in
their environment, and then when they're in a zoo, I
feel it's a little too confined. I know that makes
no sense. What I'm a bit of a moron, Okay,

(15:21):
don't compared to the.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Ocean, I.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Would say that the tank is.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
It depends on the size of the fish. Depends on
the size of the tank.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
I think you know a whale and that tank the
whale shark.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, in Georgia at the Georgia Aquarium. Pretty pretty crazy
to see that thing and then the other thing just
from like a sellfish, you know, not caring about the
animal aspect is at the zoo, you're normally not guaranteed
to see things, especially if they're nocturnal animals. It's like cool,
I walked all the way down here to find out

(15:59):
that this animal is asleep behind that rock over in
the corner. And normally with the fish and the aquarium,
they're they're moving around, you see them, even if they're asleep,
You'll you'll actually get to see them. So from a
selfish aspect, that's why I like aquariums more. But but
we've been talking about for the summer getting a Zoom
membership because we did go recently and my daughter had

(16:22):
a really good time, but.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
A lot that's remember a deal.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Oh, it was a big outing for me and my daughter.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Yeah, when was the last time you've been to the
wild Animal Park. Who So when we lived in Escondido,
can you remember those days?

Speaker 3 (16:40):
All?

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Right? We like her person.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
I couldn't look at herself in the mirror.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Okay, I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
I'm the exact same person, exact You're cute, Okay. Yeah,
So we definitely had a membership back then, and we
would go probably every other and you know what, we'd
put the daughter in the stroller and walk around and
I liked, you know how open and big.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
It was pretty cool. So that was really cool.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
And the trailm you get to take, like through the
actual like animal safari area was really cool.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Yeah. So that being said, would you ever consider going
on an actual safari in like Africa? I know you
don't leave the continental United States? Right, Yeah, So.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Here's the thing, don't really leave the US. Issue number one,
Issue number two. It depends on the launching. Mama is
a little particular hintance. Some may say high maintenance, some
may say particular.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Well, you won't even use an outhouse.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
I do not care for outhouses.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
I tough in the safari.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Do have a three am tinkle that is now part
of my routine because of getting up for this job
every day.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
So even on the weekend. So even if I'm on.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Safar, my body's gonna have to three am tinkle. And
that's why because Eddie's invited me, like you know, back
in the day camping to Yosemite or whatever, and I
don't do it. The three am tinkle really concerns me.
So okay, So I don't know if I'm a camping
safari gal anymore.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
They have you know, like lodges and stuff like that
you can stay at and then go and checking all
the out of the stuff, and you know, you can't
stay in the wild, but that's obviously risky.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
Yeah, that's that's because I've had friends, you know, quite
a few people in the neighborhood. They'll go from the
on safari shooting lines. Yeah, and they like stay on
Safari when they're like doing their thing.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
I don't know if they're guy being out in the
wild is east of the five, that is true. Got
to be specific. I went on in someplace called Ramona.
I don't know wh I do know it was a
wild scene out there. Ladies and gentlemen. You know, you've
talked about taking big trips before about Europe and New

(19:04):
Zealand and all these things. Would you ever go and
want to go to Africa? Sofari, it's a long plane ride, man,
I mean New Zealand is further. I don't know. When
does that interest you at all?

Speaker 2 (19:16):
My great aunt rip aunt Rachelle, she did it twice,
really she did, and she was it's the coolest and
the pictures were really cool and she loved it. And
then after seeing the new mission, impossible. They're in South
Africa and it looks really cool. So maybe one day
it would be my wife's dream to do that. So
I'm sure one day we'll do it, you know, that

(19:37):
would be really cool, Like in the future.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Whenever we go to Orlando and go to the Disney
World resort, we always go to the Animal Kingdom, and
when on Animal Kingdom, we always go on Safari.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
Okay, are you comparing?

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Let me tell you something. You see all the animals,
they're all right there. I don't so then they're actually
they're they're not behind like certain animals are are just
right come up right to the tram like there's a rhino,
Like from me to you. That's how close they can be.
You can be.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
I mean one of the most deadly animals. That's the
hip hop.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Girafts walk right up to you or ostriches. I mean
they're literally right there. It's kind of crazy how close
you can get. No, it's not so because I've done that.
I'm good to Africa. I'm basically in Africa. I don't
think that's at Animal Kingdom in Orlando. I have no

(20:39):
interest in it.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
In multiple countries between Animal Kingdom and then you go.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
To FCOT, I've been around the world, around the world,
travel in Orlando. Well, if you've ever wanted to go
on a safari in Africa and have considered it and
thinking like, oh man, that sounds so awesome, I don't
know that right now is a great time to go.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Yeah, there's just making international news because of something that
just happened to a guy who was on safari.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Now, this guy loves lions.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
I guess he is the former owner of like a
four x four safari vehicle company.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
So he's really in the community.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
No, no, no, not like that Dan Campbell.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
So this guy has made a lot of money doing that,
and so he took his money and started supporting the
lions and the lion communities and stuff like that, and
that's what he would donate to, to the point where
they even named one of the well known lions in
the pride in that area after him. But turns out,
you guys, that lion was very misbehaved and they had

(21:44):
to put that one down, which probably should have been
a signed to this guy that him and Lions aren't
the best of friends, but still supporting the Lions going
on safari. So he was just on luxury safari. So
this is one of those like high end ris people
safaris where yes, you're in a tent, but like you know,
all your needs are met, you have people there with

(22:06):
you every step of the way. Well, so this guy's
doing that, and it turns out in the middle of
the night he had to use the restroom.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Doesn't specifically say, but that's how it feels. Yeah, could be,
could be.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
And so that is when he steps out of his tent,
and just as he steps out of his tent to
make his way to the luxury restroom, he is pounced
on by a female lioness that they say probably within
seconds killed him, like snapped his neck, like they say,

(22:43):
that's what they're saying now, as soon as the ruck
is started, all the other people came out and shoot
the lion away.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
But a little squirt bottle cana pennies.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I wouldn't have come out. I would have been like,
this is awful, but I don't want to go out there.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Oh my god, Eddie's getting his neck and they stopped.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
I'm not I wouldn't go out there in the middle
of the night like that. I would just go in
my tent. Oh you go to the in the tent
bottle or something in a bottle.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Well, as much experience as this guy had, as many
times as he's been on Safari, he was killed by
the lioness and they are saying, yes, there is not
much prey right now for the lions in this area,
so they are looking for alternate forms of prey.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
So they're just hungry.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
So if you're going on Safari, head on a swivel.
I'm telling you, man, no thanks sticking to Orlando.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
I'm good. I'm good. It's not when you go through
a breakup, you may feel like I could be petty
about this and get back at them somehow, or you
could just be the bigger person and move on. Well,
we're gonna see what. One guy is asking about what
he is thinking about doing to an ex girlfriend who
cheated on him when we get back on the show,
I'll rock with a five to three the Food Fighters

(24:08):
on the show, It's rock one O five to three.
So you know how it goes when you go through
a breakup or you know, especially the worst is if
you find out you're being cheated on. You could get
that feeling of pettiness of like, you know what, I
want to get back at this person. Yeah, and you know,
you may go through with it. You may think, you know,
all right, I'm gonna burn all their clothes or whatever

(24:30):
it is you want to do. You can do all that, Yeah,
smash your TV, do something crazy like that. Well, yeah,
I get that. Or you could just say, you know what,
I'm a bigger person here, let them live their life.
I'm better off without them whatever. That's really hard to do,
but you could do that.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Well.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
One guy is in a situation and he is not
really sure what to do. I'm not sure if this
is being petty or if this is actually helping out
in the situation.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yeah, this guy has just found out that his girlfriend
of three years has been cheating on him for the
last couple months, and he says he hasn't said anything
to the girlfriend yet because they like live together. He
knows it's gonna get explosive. So he's basically getting his

(25:17):
ducks in a row. So when he goes, I know
he's already out. All his stuff is like safe, there's
no fireworks, Like everything's already separated.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I mean, what does he have to worry about. He
wasn't the one who's cheating. Yeah, Like, why is she
going to be explosive at me?

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Because you know how things go, like sometimes breakups turn ugly,
and so I think he thinks it's better just to
have a new place to live, like have everything set
up so when he's ready, he's ready.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
That's that's hard to do. Is you got to go
every day just home and know that that chick is
doing that and be okay with it. That's hard to do.
I don't know how you get.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
So he says, like, I mean he's it's only been
a couple days and he's like ready, Like by the weekend,
he's gonna be ready. But in addition to finding a
new place to live, to like kind of secretly start.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Removing his valuables.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
All of this, and that he says, there's something else
he's considering because he found out who she is cheating with.
It's one person. It's not like she's you know, horn
all over town. It's one person. And that one person
is her supervisor at work. Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
And here is the thing he knows.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
If he alerts her workplace, this guy will lose his
job because he is a supervisor. The other thing he
knows is that this guy is married with kids, and
so he has two things, you know, inside of him,
and he doesn't know what way to go.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Does he tell the work and or the wife.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Or does he just go Nope, I'm staying out at
that side of it, and I'm just gonna deal with
what happened to me and move on.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Yeah, I uh, you know how I feel about this.
You deal what, you clean up your side of the street,
and you move on. Why are you gonna ruin everybody's game?
You're gonna ruin this guy's life. Well, wasn't life, I guess,
but you're gonna you want if you had kids, and
you have a kid and your husband was cheating on
you and with a coworker, and it got exposed like

(27:26):
this and your your kid found out, it would be
a disaster.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I don't know. I just don't.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
But but the kids are gonna find out if he
tells the wife, and.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
That if the wife decides to take action.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
This is just counterpoint. Uh you did that to yourself
by cheating, for sure, So you know, uh, my exposing it,
you know, isn't that. I'm gonna focus on my person
that I know.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
I'm gonna. I'm gonna talk about my girl. I'm gonna
say to my girlfriend, I know you're cheating on me.
I'm done.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
I'm not gonna live the rest of my life knowing
that I just ruined this guy's life and family and
his wife may hate me for doing this.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I have no idea. You don't know how people are
gonna act. I the guy's gonna lose his job, lose
his kids. I'm not gonna for my girlfriend, like we're
not three years a three years. It's not doing that.
I can't.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
That's that's crazy. I'm not ruining families.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Yeah, well again I agree with Eddie. I think he
is the one ruining family. He's not you.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
You did nothing wrong. Yeah, but you always kill the messenger. Man, Yeah,
but who.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Cares like she doesn't she doesn't know you. And then
also she could have the thought like, so say she
finds out five years from now and she goes, why
didn't no one tell me? If ever, if all these
people knew over the last five years, not one person
tell me.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
It's not my responsibility to tell the wife, and and
that's not my responsibility. My responsibility is to confront my
girlfriend and move on. Also, I don't know this guy.
I could I don't know about you.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
But if someone that I didn't know, if I was
making a miss and somebody that I didn't know and
they blew up my life, my family, my wife, my kids,
my work, I don't know how i'd react to that.
You could go a little crazy, even though you're the
guy who did it.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
You're right, but that's not how you're gonna think. You're
gonna go, how could this guy do this to me?
Human nature?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
You're not gonna go you know what, I deserve this,
You're not gonna I'm just saying, you're not gonna act
like that. You're gonna look for somebody to blame. I
just don't I wouldn't want to be involved in that
at all. Yes, I'm not gonna do that, you know me.
I'm not going to cause more drama. I'm less drama.
But I would completely understand whoever decided to do that. Yeah,

(29:39):
I don't know why we're worried about this guy and
his life and ruining his life. He did that to himself.
I get it. And he ruined your life. And who
maybe you thought I was gonna marry this girl. You know,
I already did me. I'm looking at it. I'm devastated,
but he did me a favor, right, cook at it
like that. I just don't want to get in. I'm pissed,
but I don't want to get involved in that. There's

(29:59):
too much to get involved in. It's not my business.
I understand that for sure.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Maybe you know, at the worst, at the worst, maybe
I write an anonymous letter.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
In Jersey Shore, Sweetheart and Ronnie. There there was a
letter written.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
There's a letter. It was written by Jay Wow, snooky
snooky about some cheating ron Ronnie was dancing with another
girl Karma.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah yeah, yeah, actually not really not really yeah, I
mean it was.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
And then Sammy punched Ronnie, which is kind of crazy
and then actually got in the fist fight with with Jay.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Well see what happened. So they caught Ronnie cheating, but
then Sammy blamed the girls. You just I just wouldn't
you know what I'm saying. That's my point, Like you're jo,
I'm Jay. Well, so I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna
just focus on my girlfriend, and you know, I may
I may threaten the girlfriend and be like like like
I'm gonna tell the other guy and then not do anything.

(30:58):
I just don't want to get involved in. I just
want less trauma exactly whatever. Speaking of drama, Thor, you know,
we know he's having a baby and not too happy
with something that his sister recently did. Feels like kind
of screwed him over a little bit, kind of well,
we're gonna see what she did that he didn't appreciate.
Coming up next on the show, A rock with a
five three some forty one on the show, It's Rock

(31:26):
within five to three. So we know that Thor is
going to be having his first child here coming up
maybe early November, We're thinking somewhere around then. And you know,
obviously there's a lot of prep work that goes in beforehand.
You got your baby registry going on all that stuff.
Apparently your sister has done something recently that has really

(31:48):
really upset him.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Oh yeah, we made My mom was really about making
a baby registry. We did it, and no one's bought
anything off the three registry, So I don't know. My
mom was so on top.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Well, usually you don't get him until the shower. Yeah,
don't you have to send them to people? So I
don't even know where to find it. Did you send them?
Did you send them to people?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
We sent them to people, But it's so early, like
to who a family? Okay, yeah, but it's so early,
you know. So, uh, I uh was online the other
day and I see my sister on Instagram. My sister's
a big mom like uh reposter, so any like mom

(32:28):
joke she reposts on Instagram, So I thought about muting
her because everything is a mom joke or mom fail,
mom blog, mom this mom that, or like your mom comedians. Yeah,
I love good. She'll asked me if I've ever heard
of this podcast this mom. I'm like, why would I

(32:49):
ever hear of this mom podcast?

Speaker 1 (32:52):
You know?

Speaker 2 (32:53):
She just assumes because I'm in the business, I've heard
of this mom podcast she loves. So I also see
randomly that she's cleaning out a bunch of stuff from
her house.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
Now.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I have two nephews. She has two sons, are Ethan,
who's ten, and then Dash who's four. And Dash is
four now, so they're cleaning out a bunch of his
stuff because they're done with having kids, and they're cleaning
out a bunch of stuff when they're like one, two
or three, and a lot of it is toys. And
you know, we're about to have a son we found

(33:23):
out on the show, and a little walker, and you know,
I could use all those toys. But my sister, rather
than asking me if I could use all those toys,
tells me that she's says on our Instagram that she's
donating them to charity. Because you couldn't be more selfish

(33:45):
and inconsiderate. Be more selfish and inconsiderate. I have no
toys at my house for my child. I have no
toy for her nephew. Her nephew has no toys right now.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
It's she couldn't be if you had a houseful of children.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
She couldn't have sent me a text saying, hey, do
you want a couple of these before I donate them
to charity.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Oh you're so and what a sky.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Move by the way, taking a picture of the toys
and saying on my way to donate, I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
We get it, you're helping. I do kind of agree
with you that it is wild that she knows you're
having your first baby and not offer, Hey, do you
want some of this stuff?

Speaker 3 (34:35):
I do.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
I do think that.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Now.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
Obviously you know she lives in Michigan, so she have
to ship it. It'd be ship it one less Disney cruise.
You could.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
One last cruise.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
But that being said, once you hear that it's going
to charity, don't you go all right? Well, I guess
you know. I don't because you can give it to me.
I could use it with my with my son, create
these incredible memories.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
I can tell my son that your your big nephew
Ethan had the same toy, and then she had the
same toy, and it's a family air a little we
have another and we have another child, then we could
we could give it to that child too, and then
we could donate it. And you know it, just because
I know she needs the credit like someone else, I

(35:26):
know I can put on the Instagram post donating me
and my sister donating these toys.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Now now any thought? Because have you talked to your
sister about this? Well?

Speaker 2 (35:38):
No, because I know my sister and she's already asked
me if I wanted any of the extra books she
doesn't need because she always she wants me to read.
She wants my kid to read. Now it's too much.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
It's too much. Stop pushing reading on us. Nobody wants
to do it. Well, since you haven't talked to her,
you don't know.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Maybe she saved some of the favorites to the side
to you guys, and or I don't know if she's aware.
But honestly, I don't know if I would offer you
a hand me down anything, because thor would you like
to borrow my pen?

Speaker 2 (36:12):
No, it's disgusting.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
See there you go.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
You won't even touch someone else's again, a toy that
was in a child's mouth slobbering all over you're gonna
you're okay with it?

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I get that. Ain't a binkie.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah, you know kids, and I and I know Thor
so like if it was, I'm not the one.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Playing with the toy. My nephews, my son's going to
and you wipe it off, and you wipe it off
my wife, wipe it off your wife.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
So you don't think the weird germaphobe things.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
I don't think so because because I don't know it's weird.
When we had our niece in town, uh and she
was like shoving things in your mouth, I did get
grossed out.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
A little bit.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Taken the remote control and no, she.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Had like a toy in her mouth, and then somebody
asked me to pick it up, and I was like, ah,
I mean, what's gonna happen to you? So I picked
it up and then immediately washed my hands. But I
feel like, because it's my my, my DNA's in there,
I'm more okay with it.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Thank God. Now here's a question. I know that your
sister is a bit more progressive, a bit more so,
a bit more. She named her son dash Baier after
Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Well that is that is wild. So
that being said, are these toys that she donated, you know,

(37:31):
like dolls and stuff like that. They are like what
do we got there?

Speaker 2 (37:38):
There are more r C cars and like hot wheels
because my dad and my mom bought a lot of
the toys, so they're not like there's I.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Got my daughter this whole line of trucks that were
made out of recycled materials or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Remember when she was like this, people forget that. Sky
was like, my daughter's gonna have sugar, not gonna watch TV.
She's not gonna do it extreme. Well, it's like crazy
every day. And I tried try to tell her at
that point, like remember how you got raised and now
what happened? Yes, And it's the same thing, like like
her daughter, if she went to give blood today, bobo

(38:18):
would come out.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
That crazy.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
So obviously I'm annoyed to my sister and it sucks.
I don't want her books. I mean, honestly, I don't
want her books. What were we out with?

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Clothes? Baby clothes? Are you okay with taking hand me down?
I'm okay with that. But the thing, I think baby
clothes are cheaper, but they like it doesn't but whatever
so fast fast that you don't want to buy a
bunch of stuff and then they wear them for like
a month and you're like, oh, I already got to
get another one.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
I've heard that the number one thing that I'm gonna
need is a diaper fund, because you're gonna need a ton.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
Of diper depends what you do for diapers. Has your
wife decided what kind of.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
Get out of here? She's not gonna she's not gonna
go with a cloth. That's disgusting because i would have
to do the laundry. No, I'm not doing.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
But there's cloth ones I'm not like in search, I'm
not doing.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
I'm not doing that. I'm fine with hand me downs.
I'm fine handing downs. We have my buddy Jeff is
giving me a snow, a snow.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
It's like this, sorry older parents in the room.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah, it's like this thing that like rocks. Your baby
have you and it's like this, it's called a snow.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
My wife's all into it.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
So it's like a little baby seat thing you put
in it'll actually rock. It's like, ah, I'm like a bas.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Called the snow. Some people love, some people swear by it.
App yeah, brand yeah. So I'm getting that from a buddy.
I'm getting I'm getting I'm getting a crib from a buddy.
So like I'm getting things from people. I have no
problem with hand to hand me. I have no problem.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
You would have been closed.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
Though.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
If I know my son, he's not gonna want to
be in used clones.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
What are you talking about? You can address him in
all viory. Make it cool, man.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
Are you going to buy him nikes and not let
him wear it like you do? Just keep them in
the closet in a bomb really fast that happens.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
No, I won't start buying him nikes until he's a
little older. I will buy him like a pair of
tiny Jordan's.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Though.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
I think that's cute, but at the end of the day,
I don't love my sister. Well, I mean, okay, called down,
this is what's charity?

Speaker 1 (40:32):
Oh great? Could you be more selfish? You'll be fine,
you make fine money. You're okay. The Padres were in
a real nail bider last night. Crazy plays, Crazy calls
a wild ending. We're gonna go over it all next
to sports shirt. All the Padres were in an old

(40:57):
fashioned pictures duel last night against the Giants. Stephen Colik
and Logan Webb went at it in a scoreless game.
Now Colic went five and two thirds, only giving up
three hits, handed it over to the bullpen, who kept
the Giants from scoring. Web through a real gem honestly
through eight innings kept the Padres from crossing the plate.

(41:20):
The game ended up going into extra innings tied at zero.
Now that is when the Padres finally scored, when Jose
Gleasias hit a sack fly to score Jake Croninworth in
the tenth inning. Then, in a very rare situation, Robert
Swarez came back out for his second full inning of
work to secure the one to nothing win. Nice and

(41:43):
it was. It was tough, tough, No, it was a
win actually because it was yes zero and it was crazy. Man.
There was a lot of wild plays in there. There
was at one point almost a brawl that happened because
the players getting hit. There was a weird play at
second when a guy was clearly out that they called safe,

(42:04):
that they were viewed he was clearly out, they still
called him safe. There was a awesome play by Glaciers
to end the game, or not end the game, but
in the last ding, I mean it was this is
a wild game.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
Yeah, I mean, if Glaciers doesn't make that play, Thaie
game Runner probably a double so that saved the game.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
That was a shot man too, Like I don't know
how he caught that, but yeah, great stuff, so we'll
take the win one.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Nothing was sometimes it was fun to watch. You're on
the edge the whole time. Yeah, you know what I mean,
it's fun. Like local Web just spoil an outing like that.
It's pretty legit.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
Well, and it's deflating for the Giants too, like we
can't score one run. No, that's brutal. I mean, we've
been there before, this buncher, so we know it.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
There was a lot of talk as to why Shudur
Sanders fell in the draft, but his dad Dion, not
having it, not buying it. Yeah, it's not a big conspiracy.
Dion of course, went on a podcast said that his son,
you know, talking about his son not showing up for
these pre draft interviews unprepared. At one point somebody said

(43:10):
that he he showed up wearing headphones. Oh, and dian
Is said that's all foolishness, that his son is professional
and he showed up ready to go.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
And all these reports are false, all of them. I
don't know, man, where did they come from. I'm a
big deon Sanders fan. I liked Shador. I wanted the
Giants to draft Shador if he a lot of the
reports are that he really bombed the one on one
meeting with the Giants. If the Giants would they draft
They scouted him nine different games during the cost ball season.

(43:41):
They wanted to draft him. He him and Dion were
royally screwed up the process. They didn't do the combine,
they didn't do private work they did one private workout,
they didn't do the Senior Bowl. They acted as if
he was guaranteed to be number one Andrew Luck coming
out and then didn't handle the interviews because he comes
off kind of cocky, which I don't hate.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
But they also say, you know that he's not really
that guy, that he actually is a good which no.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
That's but he comes off cocky. Yeah sure, but yeah
he's not. Like I don't think he's a bad guy.
I just think they handled this process so boorly. It
is like so poor wild that he fell all the
way to the fifth because of well, I think he
was an average. I think he's an average to above.
It's kind of an above average player. And you and
it's like the Colin Kaepernick. It's like the Tim Tebow thing.
You're gonna touch noise, too much noise for not that

(44:31):
good of ability. So I think that's what it came down.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
We'll have to wait and see. I guess the Detroit
Lions have taken another hit. Their four time Pro Bowl
center Frank Ragnow has decided to suddenly retire. Now. He's
just twenty nine years old and has played seven seasons
in the NFL, and he says his body is just
telling him he needs to retire twenty nine. I'd be
pissed if I was the Lions. You couldn't have told

(44:54):
me before the draft, dude, I don't know. Man agency
that kind of scrus them. It really does. And I
feel like the lot I've taken a lot of hits. Yeah,
you know, coaching staff coordinators, their window was open, and
they didn't win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (45:06):
They didn't even go to the Fantafcy Championship.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
It's gonna be tough.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Oklahoma's dominant run in the College Softball World Series is
finally over. The four time defending national champions lost to
Texas Tech three to two in the semi finals. Now,
Oklahoma actually almost pulled off the magic once again, as
their nine hole hitter came up with a two strike,

(45:30):
two run home run in the seventh inning to tie
it up, but then Texas Tech scored to walk it off.
Oh but man, I mean that talk about a run.
Four time defending national champions program.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Sports shirt is brought to you by Bill how Plumbing,
Heating and Air Restoration and flood Visit Bill Howe dot
com today. Do you like your name? Do you like
your first name? Well, we're gonna go over and study
asking questions about how you feel about your first name
when we get back on the show at rock with
a five to three Doraine day on the show. It's

(46:05):
rocking five three, So time to pull the curtain back
a little bit, you guys. Yeah, Sky and Thour not
their actual names. I'm revealing too much? Am I revealing?
People may not have known that Eddie and Emily are

(46:26):
are our real name. Thank you very much. Name, that's
a big reveal. Yeah, So what is Sky's real name?
Don't ask. It's a it's a night. It's not a
weird one. It's a classic Lorraine.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
She looks like a Lorraine.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
I don't know what that means. I'm going to take
that great classic that the mom from Back to the
Future rain. Yes, classic, And then you went by Lourie
most of your life.

Speaker 3 (46:58):
Right, yeah, growing up, I just from you know, my
I didn't.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
I didn't pick it. I didn't choose to go by Laurie.
My family just called me.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
Laurie and didn't pick Sky. Yep. I didn't pick Sky either.
It's your radio name though, yep. Genius.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
And then Thor's real name is a normal name, yeah, Tyler,
but it is anything but normal though, because of how
you spell it, t y l h o R, t
y l h o R, till till horror.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Well, the h is silence.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
That is wild.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
It is.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
It is. So the show should be Eddie, Laurie Tyler
and Emily show hot show. Now, why do you have
a weird silent in your name?

Speaker 2 (47:46):
Because my neurology, my grandma's in the numerology. My name
on my original birth certificate was t y l e R.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
Really, yes, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
My dad and my grandma had redid like the neurogia
thing and it wasn't balanced, I guess. So she sheds
against everything you are. Yeah, she redid it to spell
t y l h o R. So they changed my
birth certificate to t y l h o R and
true story.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
Dad is a lot like you. I'm surprised your dad
was like, went along with it. Okay, well thrown h
in that bad boy.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Yeah, irised, my mom went along with you. No kidding,
but but yeah t y l h o R, which
you know, which if you would have.

Speaker 1 (48:29):
Been just Tyler t y l e l e R,
your whole life could have been some.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Would be president, Would I be Tyler? Would I still
be Tyler though? Or would I be like intern Boner?

Speaker 1 (48:39):
Yeah? You know what you know? So when Thor started
the show his first day, I saw his name and
it was spelled t y l h o R or whatever, yeah,
and I couldn't get over it. I was like, till or, Till, dude,
you're Thour. That's literally how he became his name. It
looks like four like whatever. That's how you became Thour
just by that, which thank god, because in radio you

(49:06):
could be anything, which would have ruined my career. You
could have been Boner.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
In turn no lip. Yeah, I don't know so many things,
and I'm not I'm not the I'm not the biggest
fan of four. I don't like anything that I when
I don't like. I'm not the biggest fan of Tyler
either I have. I just hate anything you hate yourself. Yeah, yeah,
it's got to be an insecurity thing. Like whenever we
go to radio boot. We go a radio convention every
August and I have to write four on my name tag.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
But you look at other people's names. Yeah, I mean
that's not bad, but a hundred, but I feel like them, like,
well we'll see.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Like Sweaty walks up.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
You're not better than that, better than anybody, but like
there's one guy, yeah, in turn, Sweaty in turn, fat
John and just like, oh god.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
There's cheese Penis. Yeah, it's so true. It's so true,
and everyone's like it was not bad. No, it's not bad,
it's not bad.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
I just don't like any name. I could have been
given any name.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
I don't like Scott. You don't even blink at because
she looks like Scott. It could have been Lorraine, which
you know. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:20):
When I'm around Sky's husband, I always find it odd
saying Sky. I want to say Laurie, but then I
feel like, like, who am I to call her Laurie? Yeah,
I'm not feel like I'm not enough to I feel yeah,
I'm not cool enough to call you Laurie.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
I was given a choice of three different names. I
could have been Sky. I could have been China.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
That would have been the credit the world, that would
have been incredible. Why or just China I don't know,
I didn't even look at it. Or Ashley that was
the that would have.

Speaker 4 (50:54):
Been That was, but that was and that eventually went
to somebody else.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Chinese should have been China.

Speaker 1 (51:01):
How weird would that have been?

Speaker 3 (51:03):
And because even with Sky, like, people will come up
to me and be like, oh, your parents' hippies. And
it depends how much time I got, how much I care.
Lots of times I'll just be like.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
Why would that ever? Why would that ever be an
option for.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
I thought the names being presented to me like, we're
like hippie names. That's why it was Sky, because I
thought it fit my person. I was told later all
three names were stripper names.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
And could have been Mercedes. So your birth name, Lorraine,
how do you feel about it? Mixed?

Speaker 3 (51:41):
Feeling classic, classic name, love that it was my grandmother's name.
I do love a good family name, so I'm a
fan of that.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
But you have some weird l's or something. Yeah, So
the firstborn daughter.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
The name needs to start with the L and and
the middle name is well if if you want to
do the tradition, yeah, don't don't con middle talking middle. Yeah,
so that's the tradition. That's why my manner's love Lynn.
My mom is Lynn, her mom was Lois, so it's
Lewis before that Laura.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Yeah. So we got a lot of we got a
whole line of well, that's why I made one up. So,
so l is the thing I love. Yeah, it would
fit you look.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
So granted, I don't love the name. I don't think
Lorraine screams like hot, kick cool and hot, you know, like,
oh that chick gets it Lorraine. So but I don't
like hate it, hate it to the point where I'm like, oh.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
Yeah, like most of us, Yeah, that's not nice.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
Okay, okay, yeah, and now my my grandmother's name was Cornelia.
I'm not naming my kid. Sorry, Okay, Luckily tradition in
your family or yeah, can you imagine? Uh so we
thor doesn't like Tyler. No, I think Tyler is a
cool name, like, but the way you spell it, I

(53:12):
don't know. When you were in school that had to
be miserable when the teacher called you out like everyone think.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Most of the time, they say Taylor, which I don't
understand how they got Taylor out of my name, but
that's why they're well, plus they're a teacher. Yeah, that's
why with my son, I want to have a cool
name for hi.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Yeah, Walker is a cool name.

Speaker 2 (53:28):
I feel like Walker DoD is a cool name.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
Yeah. I think it's the Texas Ranger. That's amazing. For So,
my original name is Edward, which I've never liked ed
I thought it was just Eddie Edie. I wish it
would be because I've never been Edward to anybody. My
parents named me Edward to call me Eddie, and I'm well,
why don't you just call me Eddie? And they said

(53:51):
you can't. You have to call you Edward is like,
you know, the proper version of Eddie. That's stupid. If
you wanted to call me Eddie, just named me Eddie.
And so so, I love Eddie, but I don't like
any derivative of Eddie. Don't call me ed I'm not
an ed guy. Call me, I'll slap your face. I
don't like being called ed Edward. Edward is like I'm

(54:13):
in trouble. Okay, you call me Edward. I'm I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
I don't like people's shortening my name. My wife does this,
I've heard.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
I've heard her call you ty, but she doesn't do
it around me.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
I won't let her.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
I won't let her. Yeah, so Eddie's cool. I like Eddie,
but Edward or ed no, thank you. So I'm fine
with Eddie. It doesn't bother me at all. I like it.
Never changed my name obviously for the radio, so it's good.
So they looked into this and it did a whole
study asking people, how do you feel about your first name?

Speaker 4 (54:45):
Yeah, and overall most of us are okay with our name.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
You know, you're basically given an option hate, dislike, neutral, like,
or love your name.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
I know Emily likes her name. She's not here today,
she's out sick. Yeah, she's told me before she loves
or Emma Emma. Yeah, she's a big version of Emma,
which I've never heard.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Why I just called Emily Emma? But yeah, she's like,
everyone calls me Emma. Why didn't your parents's name and
Emma them?

Speaker 1 (55:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
It's the short nickname of Emily, which I had never
heard it until. There's two different names, Yeah, two different names.

Speaker 4 (55:17):
Like it's Emma Stone, it is her birth name, Emily.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
I don't think she don't think. I'm very confused.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
I've no idea.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
So those were the options you could pick from, and
the majority of people actually picked they love their name.
Forty two percent went with love, thirty one percent went
with like, nineteen percent are just neutral for dislike, and
two percent of the population hates their name.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Yeah. I don't know if I'm in the love I
say like, but I'm a little bit above like I'm
in between. I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
I don't hate it, but I don't like.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
I just don't like. I don't like you dislike or
are you neutral?

Speaker 2 (55:56):
I don't know. I just don't like it. I don't
like when I hear my name.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Oh weird.

Speaker 3 (56:02):
I'm neutral. I'm more than neutral zone of like. Okay,
it's not my favorite, but I get it.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
What's crazy is when people call me four in radio.
I'm fine with it. People call me four outside of
radio it annoys me. But when people call me Tyler
in this building, it really weirds me out. Yeah, there's
one guy you say you can't make you happy.

Speaker 1 (56:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (56:21):
No, there's one guy in this building that loves to
find out what your like legal name is and call
you by it. And I don't I don't know why
you're that guy. You don't need to call me Lorraine
in the hallway and giggle every time.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
You say it. Okay, sorry, it's not direction.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
Yeah, and then they went on to ask people, Okay,
just in regards to names, do you prefer a common
name or an uncommon name?

Speaker 1 (56:45):
What do you think is the better name? In twenty
twenty five? Yeah, unique names are tricky.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
But the thing about unique names now is everyone uses
the same ten unique names and but so they're not
unique anymore.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
True. But now, but like with Sky saying Loveland, like
that's a that's a made up name, But to me
that's a that's yeah, but Love is actually unique. But
I've heard of Walker's before, I've never heard of Love.
Loveland is actually unique name. Your kid, Ashton isn't unique.
So if you went with a unique name, is that
better than a common name?

Speaker 2 (57:20):
I think so.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
I would rather.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
If you want to be the cool parents and name
your kids something unique, then come with your own name.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
See I wouldn't want that because now you're really putting
pressure on that kid and to have them stand out,
because that's not an You're gonna get asked about your
name all the time, So that's tricky.

Speaker 4 (57:36):
My daughter gets asked all the time what is it?

Speaker 1 (57:43):
And she loves she loves that.

Speaker 4 (57:45):
Yes, she has told me multiple times she hates her name.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
I didn't name that just been like a normal name.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
Does anybody call her a Lynn?

Speaker 4 (57:54):
No, there's love, there's Lovey and love.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
Older people.

Speaker 4 (58:00):
I think Lovey was like a nickname back in the day,
so older.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
People will call her love. I'll call her love.

Speaker 3 (58:07):
But yeah, she's not a fan. And she also doesn't
like that. Like everybody, if something says love on it,
they buy it for her, you know what I mean?
And how many things out there?

Speaker 2 (58:19):
You have many things, you know when you go to
the tourist place and there's names the license, Yeah, she changed.
I would always look for mine, not realizing it was
such a weird spelling, and my mom would be like, oh,
one day we'll find one we never did.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
One day, you'll we never did. Yeah that's annoy Yeah.

Speaker 3 (58:37):
Yeah, Well, most people out there think that a less
common name is the way to go when naming a
kid into you think it just how weird, like a
little bit uncommon is good, but not really weird uncommon?

Speaker 1 (58:54):
Right? Yeah, So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (58:56):
Friends could laugh in your face when you tell them
the name you picked was.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
A joke and look at what happened. What she's not
happy with it? You should have taken my advice. Face. Absolutely,
you're welcome. Remember last week we went over Tom Cruise's
best movies list and in their top ten they didn't
have top Gun. It was pretty brutal how bad that

(59:22):
list was. So I went into the lab come up
with my top ten Tom Cruise movies that we're gonna
go over. Coming out next on the show, I'll rock
on a five to three three days Grace on the show,
it's rock one five to three. So whenever I drop

(59:45):
a new top ten, it could be controversial for some
because it is my top ten. This one I'm a
little concerned about because somebody has strong feelings on this actor.
Are you ready for my latest top ten? It's about

(01:00:05):
to happen. Would you say he? Would you say that
you agree? Or are you pissed? You're gonna hear now
you're gonna hear now Eddie's top ten list and He's
top ten list, the top ten singers Jamie on Tennor

(01:00:29):
does a great job. Yes, this top ten had to
happen because last week we had a horrific top ten
list that brought us. So it was all because Tom
Cruise released a new Mission Impossible movie, and so somebody
decided to rank all of his movies from best to worst.

Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
Yeah, it was the Business Insider.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
It was atroci idiots. It was atrocious top to bottom
was bad. And so I said, okay, well I can't
have this happen. I have to put out my top
ten Times Cruise movies. I saw Mission Impossible over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Yeah, it was great. It was back to what I
love about Mission Impossible. It was better than the last one.
It made up for the last one. The last one
just didn't hit the mark. It wasn't terrible, it just
wouldn't hit the mark. But I don't think I think Fallout,
which was Mission I Possible six is the peak.

Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
I think is are we doing thorst top ten Tom
Cruise movies. I'm just not sure what I'm.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
What I'm trying to get at is I would hope
that there's multiple mission impossible movies on this list.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Well maybe you can find out. Relaxed pal, I know
you love Tommy c I do. He's yeah, he was
one of your guys. And with Eddie.

Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Eddie somehow watches everything, so I respect his opinion on
the movies and TV shows. He sees everything.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
He does like entertainment.

Speaker 2 (01:01:54):
You'll mentioned a movie and you'll be like, oh, yeah,
I saw that, and you'll be like, what, how did
you see that?

Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
Now?

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Eddie's oppressive with your list. I don't sleep, I guess
not with your list.

Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
Is it all just personal opinion? Or are you also
taking into a fact box office success? Does that matter
to Eddie at all?

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
Listen, Sweetie, this is my top ten tom is it?
That's all again? If I was just doing what I
think are the best Tom Cruise movies of all time,
then I would take those things into account. But this
is my personal top ten Tom Cruise movies.

Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
So there could be a movie that people love, but
you're burnt out because you.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Or I just have a different opinion. I don't know,
So let's begin at number ten. Number ten came down
to three movies and I had to pick one to
make the final cut. Wow, it came down to Days
of Thunder, fantastic racing movie. Oh have you seen Days
of Thunder? I have it, dude, You're you're really eighty

(01:03:01):
eighties Tom nineteen ninety I believe. Okay, so that's that's
but it was only for me. Yeah, okay, yeah. Uh
it came down the Days of Thunder, Cocktail or All
the Right Moves, those are all Those are all eighties
early Tom. Those are all the early eighties Tom Cruise movies,
all graties Tom.

Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
I really only know Top Gun and Risky Business because
my dad liked that movie.

Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
Dude, All the right Moves you would really like because
it's all about football, small town Pennsylvania football, Okay. And
then Cocktail, I mean, please, come on.

Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
I mean the hottest bartender.

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
He's unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
It's wild, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Uh. As I sat there and tried to figure out, well,
which one do I enjoy the most? If I were
to say, all right, those three, I'm at Blockbuster, I'm
in I'm in the Tom Cruise section. I'm looking there,
and I go, I'm down to the three. Everything else
is rented.

Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
Oh I hate that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
I go. You look behind the box every time. I'm
gonna take what All the Right Moves.

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Wow, it's that good in.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
All the Right Moves and so taking it off the shelf,
going to rent it. Wow. So Black Days of Thunder
like Cocktail, but All the Right Moves comes in as
my number ten Tom Cruise movie. I'm telling you you
need to watch watch Still holds Up. Okay, still holds Up.
You run into the same problems trying to make the
football team. You got a jerk coach plank t Nelson

(01:04:20):
and then always you only play a coach, I think.
So that's all he does.

Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
And when you're the star player, there's always issues with girls,
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
And he's of course and uh, you know he's he's
trying to, you know, be the first guy to get
out of that small town. He doesn't want to work
on a factory. No, he wants to go to college.
Has Big Coach screwed the movie?

Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
You? Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
Yeah many times? All the Right Moves a great movie. Wow,
here we go, coming in as my number nine Tom
Cruise movie. This might be higher on other people's list,
but coming in at number nine Edge of Tomorrow Sorry
as You is great. This is a great movie. It's
a good movie.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Him and Blunt are believe Blun's great and every very good.
They're phenomenal together.

Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
It's a day for a futuristic futuristic movie.

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Ok, and it's really good. It's got like a weird
sci fi following. It's He's really good in it because
he plays kind of like, uh, not really a tough guy,
and then he'd be hast to learn how to train
and stuff. It's really good. Yeah, and it's got some
twist and turns to it. There's supposed to be a
sequel that never came out.

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
Think of think of Tom's library of movies.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
The ones that are going to be higher on the
list are just better. Hedge of the fact that it
made it in the top ten means it's good. All right,
it's really good. I'll give you that. I still would
have it. You have it, I still would have had
it higher. Yes, so number nine Edge of Tomorrow coming
in as my number eight Tom Cruise movie. Sky will
agree with this one the firm. Ah, dude, great movie underrated.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
Yeah. Lots of times you read a book and then
you watch a movie and you go, oh, the book
is better by no this like it was.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Read more action Tom, there's action in there. John Grisham novel.
I I don't read a ton but this is one
of the books that I actually read. I actually read
The Firm. Yeah, and so when I saw the movie,
I was like, they did a really good job and
it's a good movie. Yeah, it's it's intense the Firm,
not badmen. Coming in at number eight, coming in as

(01:06:27):
my number seven. Tom Cruise movie is a true classic.
It is risky business, come on man, solid right movie,
solid filmic scene.

Speaker 2 (01:06:40):
Which one on the train the train? Yeah, for sure,
not the one where I thought I just didn't want
to say.

Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
That, because I get it. Rebecca de More remember the
train bang. The first of all, she's not a stripper,
she's a hooker.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Hooker.

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Sorry, sorry, put some respect on that every morning. Sorry,
Thank you very much. You could say that fit great movie,
I mean the highs the lows. That's unbelievable, Joel. Yes,
of course, you have the sliding across full time rock
and roll. Great movie. Put Tom on the Map, really

(01:07:19):
did really put Tom on the map, all right? Coming
in at number six, I have a tie because it's
basically I don't know what to do with this because
I didn't know what to do. Listen, I didn't know
what to do with this, Okay, I I had to.
I wanted both of these movies in the top ten,

(01:07:41):
but I kind of feel like there we're in the
same realm here. I put two mission impossible movies together,
Rogue Nation and Gross Ghost Protocol. Really so both amazing,
but I liked them both for separate reasons. Now, Rogue Nation,
I think I liked a little bit more. That's that's

(01:08:01):
where we start to get into all kinds of crazy stories.

Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Yeah, three is the one where it gets because two
is altrocious and one is just completely different. Three is
kind of where it starts to take off, and then
four it really takes off, and then five is better
and six is better.

Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
You know, this is when you start seeing the crazy stunts. Yeah,
like that Tom climbing on the outside of the building,
and then you know he did the one when he's
hanging off playing and all that stuff. So, I mean,
he's unbelievable. The guy is unbelievable. So they're both kind
of the same. That's why I put him together. And
they're both great. They're both great. I don't care what

(01:08:37):
you say.

Speaker 4 (01:08:39):
Wow, this is an asterisk on Eddie's top ten wikipeda.

Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
No, I also think, don't care.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
I also think fall is Fallout going to be in
the top five because that's my that's my favorite Tom
Cruise Mission Impossible movie.

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Again, this is not your top ten list. Can I
can I get through this? All right? Sorry? Coming in
as my number five Tom Cruise movie could be a
little controversial, I don't think so. Top Gun Maverick, Wow,
Top Gud Maverick. Listen, it's hard to do a sequel.

(01:09:10):
It's hard to do a sequel. Well, it's hard to
do a sequel, well, twenty five years, thirty years past
the fact of the you know the movie like a joke.
So the original Top Gun amazing. Obviously, you wait so
many years to do a sequel that they'd been talked
about for so long, and then they come out with Maverick,
and I'm like, man, that was really good.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
I know, so I actually like Top Gun Maverick better.

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
That's crazy. That's a crazy say. It's a childish remark.
You're living in the moment. I love it. Well, Brewster,
come on listen. If you're doing your top ten movies.
And then I get why I don't think. Yes, ten movies. Oh,
you're probably right. Top four, but yes, Top Gun Maverick

(01:09:57):
is great, fantastic job. But again number five on the list,
coming in as my number four Tom Cruise movie is
Mission Impossible. Fallout. Fallout is the best out of all
of them. It is really good. I mean especially you
know at the end, anytime you get to the point

(01:10:19):
of where you're cutting a wire and it gets down
to the zero amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
How did they always cut the helicopter scenes that the
one is one said that they cut here as good
as the helicopter scene is at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
The Henry Caville, who's great as a villain.

Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
The new plane scene may have passed it the two plants,
but I think thoughts still a better movie.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
Yeah, Fallout amazing deserves its own spot on the list.
Coming Wow, Yes, we are now in the top three category. Here.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
So many movies, it's crazy, it's crazy how many movies.

Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Tom has made. I mean, he's as big as it gets.
Number three, Hey, number three, he Jerry Jeremy. Wow, what
a right turn? I mean, list, what a right turn?
You give me football? You give me Cuba Gooding Junior,

(01:11:20):
you give me a love story. You give me every
everything I could ask for. In Jerry maguire, it is
great Renee when she was at her hottest, like like
when when she sees Tom coming back in.

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
From sky is definitely in that book club, Oh yeah,
oh yeah, so annoying. Definitely, Oh yeah, without a doubt.

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Wow, that's a great movie.

Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
Honestly, when we got to the top three and you
had it named it yet, I thought it wasn't going
to make yours.

Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
So it's phenomenal. It's phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
What a movie.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Yes, number three, Jerry McGuire coming in as my number two.
Tom Cruise movie is a few good men. Really absolutely
one of my all time favorite.

Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
It's a great movie. But I feel like Jack Nicholson
steals the show more than Tom.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
He's not in it that much. No he's not, which
is crazy, barely in it, I think one best supporting
actor and he had like not a ton of screen time. Amazing.
But again, Tom is the star of the movie. Let's
not forget you know. I mean, he's the one who
had a question, Oh Colonel jessup as you called the couldrit, Yeah,
I say, And he's phenomenal. Set him right up. Sorry,

(01:12:44):
but great movie. Kevin Bacon in that Yeah, he's the
He's yeah, Keith for suddling randomly in that movie.

Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
Anyway, So yeah, great movie. I remember remember when I
worked at the video store back in the day. It
would be one I'd put on quite often because it's
just so good, quite often. So how many times you
think you've seen that movie? A lot?

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
Really?

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Over twenty over twenty twenty times. Yeah, yeah, and it's
really good. It's obviously really good coming in a number two,
I guess so, and you know it, you love it.
My number one Tom Cruise movie of all time, which
didn't even make the top ten of that last third list,
is the og Top Gun, Top Gun. What else could

(01:13:33):
it be? What else could it be? It's top Gun.
Give me a break, mav iconic, I kill you're a maverick.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
I'm a Maverick guy. I'm surprised. Collateral with Jamie Fox here,
he's phenomenal. That movie's okay, that's a great I didn't
even consider A Night and Day with Cameron Diaz.

Speaker 3 (01:13:54):
No, dude, I just looked up the Business Insiders list.
Their top three didn't even make your top ten. They
had Magnet only the color of Money and Born on
the Fourth of July Wild.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
So those movies I can't say I enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
What about Minority Report?

Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Minority Report almost made it. I haven't seen it so
long though, maybe I have to go back and watch it.
Magnolia is great, but Tom is a piece of that movie,
so I don't know that that's a Tom Cruise movie.
He's in it. Yeah, you know, he's got a big
part in it, but I don't know. I considered Magnolia,
Born on the fourth of July is too depressing, I know.

(01:14:29):
And then what was Color of Money. I'm not even
a fan of Oh really wow? Sorry sorry. The World's
Top Ten it was good, the Top twenty it was.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Good, but also disappointing at the same time. The ending, Yeah,
water kills them.

Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
I was going to say, years ago, a Tommy c
your a two star pass swing away with signs. Yeah,
you dummy. It involved water in aliens, but that's Mel Gibson. Yeah,
bad God. You can't catch anxiety right or depression. We're

(01:15:09):
gonna see what they're saying, can spread those things when
we get back on the show on Rock on A
five to three on the show, It's Rock one O
five to three. I kind of wish Emily were here
today she's not sick, because I'd love to hear her

(01:15:30):
thoughts on this, because we know Emily is riddled with anxiety.
She always is. She just has anxiety, always has getting worse,
it seems like. But whatever, But you can't catch anxiety
off of somebody, right, Like you could catch a cold,
you know something like that. Yeah, you can catch depression.

(01:15:51):
You may feel like, if you're depressed and I'm with
you all the time, I might start to feel a
little bit depressed too, but I can't catch it from you, right, Well,
maybe you can. They say you might be able to
spread anxiety and depression.

Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Yeah, there was a new study done and people are
very interested, but they think there could be some flaws
and they'd like another follow up study done to see
what's going on.

Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
Because yeah, you know, when you you.

Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
Can share germs with people, you can catch a cold,
you can even get mono, and you know, when it
comes to like kissing and stuff, you can get herpes.

Speaker 1 (01:16:28):
There's all.

Speaker 3 (01:16:32):
Okay, I'm just saying, so there's all kinds of stuff
you can I did, yes, really a stranger. I think
literally the one and only time in my entire life,
I kissed a stranger.

Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
I want herpes. I got mono, I want herpes.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
One time she kisses a stranger.

Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
And I was so sad and depressed and crying all
the time. And I had no idea, you know what
was going on. Why I had no energy, why I
just wanted to cry.

Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
I went to the doctor and They're like, have you
been tested for mono? And I'm like, why would I
be tested for mono?

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
And the kiss? So I had just become a single gal,
and I single gal.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
And as I've told you guys in the past, there
was a nightclub in northern California that on holidays, like
if you had Monday off, they would do an underage
night on the Sunday night. So in the summers and
on holidays, oh yeah, Sunday night the single goal Underache.

Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Club Duck Club.

Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
And So went to Duck Club and you know, I
don't know, I want to say, I'm like, I don't know,
like fifteen or sixteen, and I kiss a guy and
it's the very first time I've ever done anything like that.
And then never talked to him again, didn't get his number, nothing,
and just was like oh look at me, I'm wild, right,
and then yeah, and then got more and more sad

(01:18:00):
or depressed, just really liked sitting in a dark room crying.
And then yes turns out motto. So yeah, so wan
it done on that? Uh so we know you can
get that kind of stuff. But a new study is
saying that you can also pass depression and anxiety by

(01:18:22):
kissing what yes through your saliva. So basically what scientists
did is they had about almost three hundred newlywed couples
where one spouse struggled with depression and anxiety and the
other one who did it. So what they did is
they all filled out mental health surveys both partners, and

(01:18:44):
they all gave saliva samples, and then they came back
six months later and measured their new saliva samples. Because
something that is present in your saliva when you have
anxiety and or depression is that your cortisol levels will spike, right,
That's part of it. You're like, your body isn't controlling itself.

(01:19:07):
Your cortisol levels are spiking, you're freaking out. Well, I
guess that can be tested and represented in your saliva,
to the point where right now they're testing dental flaws
that will like change color and let you know if
you have too much cortisol, like letting you know like
you're stressed out, you need to calm down.

Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
I think I know if I'm stressed out or not,
Like I don't reel it is.

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
But I guess that's how much it's represented in your saliva.
So six months later they tested the saliva of the
healthy spouse and they said over those six months their
saliva changed, and in addition to them reporting more depression
and anxiety, their saliva actually did test for higher levels

(01:19:54):
of cortisol, letting the scientists know that you can sp
read that through your salive. Now, people who are kind
of questioning it are saying, well, maybe could it be
that if you live with somebody with depression and anxiety,
you start to experience it, and naturally you're spiking your

(01:20:15):
own cortisol, not catching it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:18):
It's just that's your body's around. It would make more sense.
So they want more follow up.

Speaker 2 (01:20:24):
Well, this is why I only gave my wife forehead
kisses once she's stressed out.

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
You don't want to catch it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
I don't want to catch it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
Right, smart, We all remember the Griffies in baseball, right,
not Emily Ken Ken and Ken Junior Ken Griffy Jr.
Yeah they are. Are they the best father son duo
in sports history? Well, we're going to see you has
been named as the best father son duo in sports
coming on next on the show and Rock five three

(01:20:57):
disturbed on the show. It's five three. Earlier in the show,
we were talking about Dion Sanders and his son should
do he at some point, maybe Shaudor is gonna be
a great NFL quarterback, we don't know yet, And if
he does, maybe they are the greatest father son sporting

(01:21:17):
duo of all time. You know, Uh, there's a few
of them out there that you can name that. You go, oh, yeah,
of course there's those guys. Those guys, those guys, well
they have come up with the most successful father son
duos in pro sports.

Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Now, to me, it starts the NDS with the Manning family, right,
but his father son's son, and it's gonna be father
son's son grandson. I mean, I don't know what son
za sons. I don't know what all of them. I
don't know what Archie's got going on, but it's insane.

Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
Yeah, I mean, that's a good start. I would say
that the Griffy's Ken Griffy Senior and Quen Griffy Jr.
Should be up there. Uh, It's it's tricky when it
come to like Lebron James, because Lebron is one of
the greatest, but then Browny is like whatever. I mean,
the fact that he made it to the NBA impressive,

(01:22:09):
but that doesn't make them successful.

Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
About duo, what about Del Curry and Steph Curry? Seth Curry.

Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
Del will get out of here with Seth. Dell was
pretty good. He had a decent career. It wasn't great
by any means, but I mean he maybe a mention
the Hasslebacks.

Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
But what's their dad playing that him and Matt played.

Speaker 1 (01:22:30):
Yeah, I don't remember. I don't know. Yeah, I think
football is a little bit tougher. But then there was
like that Matthews family. Yeah, you know the McCaffrey's. Yeah,
that's a good one because Mcca Christian he was a
pretty good wide receiver and then Christian stud There's there's

(01:22:52):
been a few of them. The Winslows, I'm not gonna,
I'm not going there. Kellen wins was great favor guy
with the old ladies. Oh no, I'm not gonna miss Yeah. No,
we shouldn't talk about it. I would ever brought it up. No, yeah,

(01:23:13):
that was me. Okay, Well yeah, bro Bible decided to
let us know.

Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
I guess according to them, there are seventeen successful father
son du I was like seventeen that you know, really
were successful. Yeah, so they let us know all seventeen
falling out of the top ten. Coming in number seventeen
are the Mannings, Archie Peyton and makes any sense?

Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
I mean what I mean I listened Archie Manning. He
was very good. He had a terrible team, terrible. You know,
he was drafted by the Saints. They were they ain't
back then. It wasn't really his fault that he didn't
have like a super successful career. But Peyton and Eli
were both ones.

Speaker 2 (01:23:59):
A top five quarterback in the history of the NFL.
Eli had won two Super super Bowls. They went back
to back Super Bowls. Eli and Peyton and they're posting
basically the faces of the NFL right now.

Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
Yeah, I mean, the fact that they're not one is
kind of crazy. What don't I don't know how I
who is who's sixteen?

Speaker 3 (01:24:22):
Sixteen is Bobby Hull and Brett Hull.

Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
Listen, they were great hockey players, but without a doubt,
but I mean more than the Mannings. Okay, then the
first fact, the whole should probably be in the top ten.

Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
Yeah, and fifteenth spot goes to the Sanders, Dion Sanders
and such.

Speaker 1 (01:24:40):
So Chaudure, we're saying should has had a better career
than Eli or Peyton Manning, because that's what you're basically saying.
He hasn't even played yet. That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:24:51):
Was Dion's career so much.

Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
Dion's one of the greatest players of all times.

Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
But put Dion with Peyton and Eli up there. But
Archie Manning is way better, had a way better career
than done anything. I don't know. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
Way to go sky.

Speaker 3 (01:25:08):
Okay, well I did make the list. I barely know
who these people are. Okay, your top ten, Number ten
goes to Rocky and Dwayne the Rock Johnson.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
Okay, I mean, listen, if we're if we're going in
that direction, Yeah, wait a minute and listen. Rocky Johnson,
Hall of Famer, former tag team champion with Tony Atlas.
He's a soul.

Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
Oh yeah, really?

Speaker 1 (01:25:31):
Oh? Yeah, Rock had a pretty good career to you,
not a rock not all really. I don't know why.
It doesn't make any sense. They like waiting special.

Speaker 2 (01:25:44):
Well, now he's like becoming a serious actor. So I
don't know if I ever go back to w huh, we'll.

Speaker 3 (01:25:49):
See coming in as the number nine most successful father
son duo in pro sports.

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
We have Bobby and Barry Bonds.

Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
Yeah, okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
That's number eight. Marvin Harrison and Marvin Harrison Junior.

Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
No, okay, Marvin Harrison Junior, it was pretty He wasn't
great last year, straight up.

Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
Yeah he was. Marvin is a Hall of Famer. Yeah,
Marvin Harrison Junior is well thought of. Was top five
draft pick, but he had that kind of a whatever
rookie year. It wasn't great. I mean over the Mannings. Yeah,
what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (01:26:25):
Brian Thomas Junior and Malik Neighbors both had way better years.

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
This is crazy. Number seven.

Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
Number seven goes to the Petty family, Lee, Richard and
Kyle without a doubt. Number six goes to Cecil and
Prince Fielder. Cel Cecil and Prince Fielder.

Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
Okay, great, not better than the man. Maybe coming in
at like ten, I go, okay, but yeah, this Manning
thing really, Oh He's right crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:27:03):
Number five best father and Sandy O Pro Sports goes
to Dell and Steph Curry Again.

Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
Number five great, but not over the Mannings.

Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
Number four goes to Howie Chris and Kyle Long.

Speaker 1 (01:27:17):
Okay, okay, I.

Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
Mean Howie Obgusly is a Hall of Famer. Chris and
Kyle Kyle had a decent career. Chriris did to christ
for Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
Again not the man No, I agreed.

Speaker 3 (01:27:29):
Number three, Eddie goes to the one you were mentioning,
the Griffies Ken Junior and Senior Griffies of number three.

Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Number two goes to Joe and Kobe Bryant.

Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
Joe Kobe, Kobe's dad. I guess he played for a
cup of.

Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
Coffee an eight year NBA career with the seventy six ers.

Speaker 1 (01:27:50):
I never knew that. Yeah, come on, okay, but.

Speaker 4 (01:27:53):
Again just kind of like the other one, Kobe like carries.

Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
The way of that and just just like Peyton and
and Eli, I mean, what the hell?

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
And according to bro Bible, the most successful ever father
and son dull in pro sport. It goes to the
Earnhardt family Dale and Dale Junior.

Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
Again deserves him mention. But I cannot get over this Manning.

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
Thing seen seventeen.

Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
That's that's last stupid thing. That's pretty bad, pretty bad,
Thanks Scott. If you got offered a seat upgrade on
a flight but your partner did not, would you take it.
We're gonna see what one person is saying about that
situation when we get back on the show at rock
on to five to three. That's the food fighters on

(01:28:44):
the show. It's rockman O five to three. How would
you like to go see Judas Priest and Alice Cooper
in concert? Yeah, we got tickets for you. It's coming
up on Saturday, October eighteenth, North Island Credit Union Amphitheater.
You can win your tickets right now. Calls right now
eight seven seven five seven oh one five three and
we will hook you up with those Judas Priests and

(01:29:06):
Alice Cooper tickets. So this is a tough situation to
be in. I know my girl Emily, how she would
ask her this she were here today. She's out sick. Yeah,
but listen, if you were traveling with your spouse, partner, whoever,
and you were offered an upgrade on a flight where

(01:29:28):
you could go sit in first class or whatever, but
your partner was not. Would you take it? That is
what one guy is wondering our guests or the situation
that they were in. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:29:40):
Well, it turns out that there was a group of
people traveling together. It was a woman, her boyfriend, and
then the boyfriend's brothers, and I guess they were doing
a overseas trip to the point where the flight takes
fourteen hours.

Speaker 1 (01:29:56):
So this is a long flight, a fourteen hours flight.
Wein just flying to Vegas, Russia. Seriously.

Speaker 3 (01:30:03):
Well, it turns out that the boyfriend and the brothers
their mom works for the airline and was able to
score them one of those like family member passes, which
is like a thing where you can get like a
special deal a better price, but normally it comes with
some sort of restrictions of like okay, you don't get

(01:30:24):
to pick where you sit. They put you in like
whatever you got, you know, So okay, great. So they
all show up to the airport and they're checking in
and they're told, okay, you know, you guys all have
economy seats, and I guess the woman really wanted to
make sure she was sitting with her boyfriend fourteen hour flight.
She has a bit of anxiety, so she really wanted

(01:30:45):
to make sure because she knew it was a possibility
that they could be all split up because of.

Speaker 1 (01:30:49):
This cheap ticket.

Speaker 3 (01:30:51):
So she goes and talks to them at the gate
and they're like, nope, you guys are all in economy.
You're actually all sitting together. It's kind of not as
full of a flight, so.

Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Oh, you're good.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
Great, Well, they are getting ready to board, and that
is when the boyfriend and his brothers are approached and said, hey,
we know you guys are flying because you know your
mother works for the airline, And we actually had three
empty business class seats and noticed your last name is

(01:31:23):
the same name as the employee, so we upgraded the
three of you to business class. Sorry, we couldn't upgrade
your whole party, but there were only three seats, so
we went with the same last name. You guys get
business class, and sorry, girlfriend, you are stuck in economy.
Oh and that is when girlfriend says that she said

(01:31:44):
to her boyfriend, like I really don't want to sit
alone on this long flight. Like she's saying this to
the boyfriend and the brothers, like I really don't want
to sit alone on this long flight, blah blah blah.
And the boyfriend says, yeah, I oh that sucks.

Speaker 1 (01:31:58):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:31:59):
But we got business class and goes and sits in
business class. And she was expecting because she was kind
of getting a little like anxiety, if you know, someone
with anxiety, getting a little weird about it, And she said, so,
she was kind of almost expecting one of the brothers
to be like, ah, it's no big deal, switch with me,
you can have my business class, I'll stay here. Blah

(01:32:19):
blah blah.

Speaker 1 (01:32:20):
None of that happened. Yeah, do you know how much
better a business class seat is on a fight like that? Dude?
It's like not you could even have like laid down
seats where you can lay all the way down, a
little cubby where it was like yeah sorry, yeah crazy,
So maybe maybe like yeah, sorry, so she said.

Speaker 3 (01:32:36):
In the beginning, she's like trying to talk herself down. Okay,
it's not that big of a deal, you have anxiety.
But again, she has fourteen hours to stew on this,
and by the time they land, she is like fired up,
and so she's upset and she's talking to him. It
was kind I did not appreciate, and nobody sat with me.

(01:32:58):
I just said, by myself, it's a really long flash.
You know, I have anxiety, blah blah blah. And then
he gets mad at her, going, you know, I just
had this really cool experience, and now you're making me
feel bad about it, Like when do I ever get
to fly business class?

Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
Like and now?

Speaker 4 (01:33:13):
And so now she's all twisted in the head.

Speaker 3 (01:33:15):
She's like, am I being irrational for thinking it was
a jerk move for everybody to ditch me? Or like,
should somebody of stage somebody have swapped. She's wanting input
on if she was being irrational or not to me.

Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
They're both kind of right, Is it a jerk move?
Kind of you know, is she being a little much
by expecting somebody to give that up? Yes, So it's
it's they're both have arguments on both sides. Now, if
they were married and you were traveling just the two
of them, I couldn't ditch my wife. Oh okay, I

(01:33:52):
wouldn't do it. I mean I would love to on
a fourteen hour flight to sit business class. I would
give anything for that, But I'm not going to make
my wife sit back there by herself like that's so
jacked up and she would never forgive me, and so
there's just no way I'm going to do it, and
so it sucks. I would turn it down, But you know,
in this particular situation, I don't know, man, Like it's weird,

(01:34:14):
Like what am I supposed to do? Like give up
this seat? I don't want to do that either.

Speaker 3 (01:34:19):
Yeah, but I think the length of the flight like
matters a lot too well, Like I guess for both
for who I know, I guess for both arguments, but honestly,
leaving somebody alone by themselves for that long, like, okay,
if you're getting hooked up in a quick one hour
fly guy, so full of it.

Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
If her and her daughter got upgrade to business boo
and the boo had to stay in economy, you would
go do it because all your daughter about to say is, Mom,
come on, I've you ever full of business class before?
And you'd go, you know, she's right, You would say.

Speaker 1 (01:34:50):
It's actually the opposite.

Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
The husband has got to fly some uh oh oh,
what is it called premiere tier? The one that's like
not first class but not a economy on these flights
to Oregon. And so the last time we were booking
our trip. There was only one seat left in the
extra leg room, and he wanted to meet a book
him and that and me and the daughter in the

(01:35:12):
regular and I'm like, and he was dead serious. He goes,
why he goes, he goes where? You know, I got
my ear AirPods in you. You two are chatting like
I'm not any part of it, and he wants to
sit separate, and I said, no, that's messed up.

Speaker 1 (01:35:25):
Like why we're a family, we all get the same thing.
You don't want to want to let him have an
extra what? What's the why does he need to be
by you? He doesn't, I don't know. He just said
he does.

Speaker 3 (01:35:39):
Well. I feel like either all three of us are
in business class, like all three of us in special treatment,
or but there was.

Speaker 1 (01:35:46):
Only one seat.

Speaker 3 (01:35:47):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:35:47):
I'm sorry, so very sorry. Sorry, that's weird you're sitting
with us that I don't understand. You don't think that's
a selfish move.

Speaker 3 (01:35:57):
I think it's a selfish move, wanting to be upgraded
outside of your family upgraded. I mean he wants the
fancy seat and he wants you.

Speaker 1 (01:36:07):
I don't he's not well, I mean he is it's
not like he's a mass I have six feet tall.
What are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:36:16):
Yeah, so I thought that was wild. So I would
be like this chick, I would be upset. I would
be like, not one of you was cool enough to
like stay with me. I mean definitely the boyfriend. I'm
a pretty cool chick.

Speaker 1 (01:36:31):
Would if I'm a nice guy, I may go, well,
maybe we can split some of it. I'll let you
sit up here for a little bit. I'll sit back there,
and then you can, you know, switch back if I'm cool,
If you're cool, I am.

Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
But if I was, I don't get I used to
be like sky where I sit together, but then i'm
But then I married my wife who does not care
at all if she preferred not to sit near me
on the flight because she thinks I talk sometimes to
her and so like I'll be like, hey, I want
do you want to sit in the same row, and
she'll literally says she doesn't care, so she wants to

(01:37:06):
sit in the best seat. So if this was my
wife business, If this was my wife and she got
business class, there's absolutely zero doubt in my mind that
she would ditch mesail. One hundred million percent. She would bail.
I guarantee it.

Speaker 3 (01:37:20):
What if it's flipped and you ditch her, how does
she feel?

Speaker 1 (01:37:23):
She'd be and I'd feel bad. Oh, I'd feel bad.

Speaker 2 (01:37:27):
I would still do it, but I'd feel bad, and
I'd come to the compromise of one halfway through, we swap.
So I get seven hours, you get said she's not
doing no chance.

Speaker 1 (01:37:39):
And you may think I'm being Oh, let's just thor
he's being crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
I'm telling you I know my wife when it's because
she's the first one that started this whole. We don't
need to sit together, and I guess she started it.

Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
You're a family. We're a family now.

Speaker 2 (01:37:54):
I don't know when we have a son, it might
feel a little different obviously, But right now, she would ditch.

Speaker 1 (01:37:59):
Me in a heartbeat. I don't even have to say
what Emily would do. I mean she would leave him
on the tarmac, I mean a different flight. She does
not care. She wants to get away from that. So
you get upgraded. She's gone. Yeah, he's like a flash, dude.
What a wild Pitchers duel we had with the Padres
and Giants last night. We're gonna see what went down

(01:38:19):
in this game. Next to sports, dirt. Well, we had
an old fashioned last night, yes, between the Padres and Giants.
Stephen Colk and Logan Webb went added in a scoreless game.
Now Colic lasted five and two thirds, only giving up

(01:38:40):
three hits. He then handed her over to the Padres bullpen,
who kept the Giants from scoring. Web on the other hand,
through eight innings, he kept the Padres from crossing the
plate all eight innings. The game ended up going into
extra innings tied at zero. Now that is when the
padre Is finally scored on. Jose Galacias hit a sack

(01:39:03):
fly to score Jake Cronenworth in the tenth, where Robert
swore Is then came back out for a rare second
full inning of work and securing the one to nothing victory.
It was a wild game, to be honest with you.
You hear one nothing in extra. Yeah, you said all
that had been a terrible game. It wasn't. I mean, honestly,
it was. It was interesting for so many different reasons.

(01:39:26):
There was a near brawl. There was a crazy play
at second base with a non out call. There was
the end the way to end with the line drive
kind of uh Glacias, Yeah, I mean it was all
kinds of crazy stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:39:39):
How about the Giants leaving nine guys in scoring position. Yeah,
it was all times they had basis loaded with one
out and out they couldn't get one big. I think
it was the second inning there was a big double
play that Glaciers started. Uh, bases loaded one out and
they get a double play, which is so big massive.

Speaker 1 (01:39:57):
Yeah, So I mean that's a win, that's huge, and
the Dodgers lost. What here we go? Yeah. There has
been a lot of talk as to why Schadeur Sanders
fell in the draft, but his dad, Dion, not buying it. Now.
Dion went on a podcast says his son is all

(01:40:21):
these rumors about him are untrue, that he didn't show
up prepared for these pre draft meetings. He denied the
report that Shadur came in wearing headphones. He called it
all foolish. He's not buying it. So he is he
denying that he dropped drastically because you can't deny that, right, Well, no,

(01:40:41):
the reason so he's.

Speaker 3 (01:40:42):
Saying it's all fabricated and that. But this is this.

Speaker 1 (01:40:47):
Like him talking about this is why teams didn't want
to draft him, like too much smoke too much smoke.

Speaker 2 (01:40:53):
Like they don't want they didn't want to draft the
guy who's not that great, who's an average quarterback with
his dad having session Outlet even want to draft that?

Speaker 1 (01:41:01):
Right? You know if if you know, say he was
a high draft pick and he doesn't start, is Dion
gonna come out and criticize the organization?

Speaker 3 (01:41:08):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:41:08):
Yeah, and I obviously I was on the like, I
don't think he would. I don't think I'll say anything.
But he's already saying stuff. You know, Uh, do you
know the name Max Homa. He's a golfer. He was
in the top ten last year. He was a top
ten golfer last year. But he made some equipment changes
and he made a coaching change this past year, and
his game is really falling off, so much so that

(01:41:30):
he had to play in a qualifier to play in
the US Open. Then, to make matters worse, he fired
his caddy right before the event and he had to
carry his own bag for thirty six holes. Oh, I
mean that's this guy. I don't know, but that's a
you don't see.

Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
That ever, like downward spiral.

Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Well, you would even go, you know, you would even
get the club pro be like, hey, you want to
be my caddy? Yeah, he goes, No, I'm just gonna
carry my own back for thirty six holes.

Speaker 2 (01:41:57):
Happy Gilmore too, I know after.

Speaker 1 (01:41:59):
All that he failed to qualify. So yeah, that is
not good for old Max Homa. Not good. That is
sports dirt for today. Well, it is Tuesday today, and
on Tuesdays we get to find out what comes out
this week in something called new releases. When we get
back on the show, a rock on a five three

(01:42:21):
Chili Peppers on the ship Rock one a five three. Ah, man,
I feel so bad for Emily, not because she's sick,
but she's gonna miss new releases. What is she gonna do?
Makes no notes, not gonna to watch.

Speaker 3 (01:42:36):
Yeah, she'll have nothing to watch all week.

Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
And it's Bruno. She's sick.

Speaker 3 (01:42:40):
Yeah, oh this is what she needs at the moment.

Speaker 1 (01:42:42):
I know. Should we call her and wake her up,
just have her put on hold so she can listen.

Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
Do you think she's still having remember she text us
early this morning with a vivid description of how sick
she was symptoms or do you think she's still having
the fevers, the chills.

Speaker 1 (01:42:56):
Chills, all night, all night fever, stomach gig fatigue, fatigue, fatigue.
I don't even know what to do. That's she was
so technical. She was so technical. It was chatt Yeah,
it was chatp rather just saying, guys, I feel I
think I have a fever. I'm not coming in Yeah,
she fatigue, the fever chills, yeah, and stomach paints. I'm

(01:43:22):
praying for.

Speaker 2 (01:43:23):
Yeah, you're praying for.

Speaker 1 (01:43:26):
So we started go fund me. No, No, we're not
there yet, not yet. What's coming out this week? All right,
new video games this week?

Speaker 3 (01:43:35):
So everything in the world of video games is revolving
around what is happening this Thursday, And this Thursday is
when the switch to is released.

Speaker 1 (01:43:47):
Now, Nintendo is not selling it.

Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
Through Amazon, so if you got Amazon, you're not going
to find it there, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, those are
your spots. Four point fifty just by itself. If you
get the package with one of like the big games
that they're releasing with it, it's five hundred. But right
now Target is already out, already out of stock online,

(01:44:10):
and they say that Nintendo when they shipped the first
batch to the store, they shipped it with out of
stock signs, so they know that this is going to
be tough to get your hands more.

Speaker 2 (01:44:23):
Yeah, I mean I would, honestly, I mean kids don't
want to wait, no, but I would. I would wait
a few months because they'll probably lower the price or
they'll do like I got a PS five and it
was four fifty, but it was a deal like where
it came with a controller.

Speaker 1 (01:44:36):
And a game and a game and something like that.
But when initially came out it was even more. So
just wait, but yeah, tell a kid that.

Speaker 3 (01:44:43):
Yeah, way, bro, And it's not like you're waiting a
couple of weeks, like you're waiting like months if it's anything.

Speaker 2 (01:44:49):
Yeah, good, wait wait until Christmas time, buddy.

Speaker 1 (01:44:51):
You tell that to a little walker.

Speaker 2 (01:44:54):
My son, I'm gonna say, listen, you got a PS five,
you can watch me play it?

Speaker 1 (01:44:57):
Yeah, when out, Thanks, it's not gonna be pay five eight.
Oh wow, that's terrible. That's the issue. So yes, Thursday,
the switch to is coming.

Speaker 3 (01:45:07):
The big game being released for the switch to that
you can find a pair with is Mario Kart World.

Speaker 1 (01:45:14):
Yeah. There was a lot of talk from my son
about maybe getting the switch to. And I'm like, bro,
you don't even play your switch one. Oh he doesn't
it anymore. Really, if we go on trips or like
playing rids, he'll take it okay, and it'll play a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:45:27):
Well, he's getting to the age where he's more of
a PlayStation kid, right.

Speaker 1 (01:45:30):
No, he not really, he did does a little bit,
but I mean, honestly, everything is still roadblocks right now. Yeah,
like those on the iPads. Yeah, so just like because I.

Speaker 2 (01:45:39):
Was a Nintendo sixty four kid and then I hit
like thirteen fourteen, fifteen and became an Xbox.

Speaker 1 (01:45:45):
Yeah, I would imagine. But I mean he wants because
he still likes Mario, and so he wants this switch
to because of that game. Because too bad world. Yeah,
played your one in your face? Yeah you could you
go most some lawns, tell me songs. Make some more money,
makes some money.

Speaker 3 (01:46:02):
Worth a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:46:04):
Sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:46:06):
Other games coming out on Thursday for the switch to Fortnite, Hitman, Hogwarts, Legacy,
Sonic Versus Shadow, Legend of Zelda, and Street Fighter six.

Speaker 1 (01:46:17):
Are some of the big names.

Speaker 4 (01:46:18):
Yeah, new music, new albums come out on Friday.

Speaker 1 (01:46:22):
In the world of rock.

a God of Angels Trust but also being released on Friday,
we have a new album from wil Wayne the Carter six.
We have Rascal Flats, Life is a Highway Refueled Duets,
and finally Addison Ray with her album at It.

Speaker 2 (01:46:44):
Finally she yeah, yeah, every like every like year she
drops a random song. Yeah, I guess now it's finally
an album, an album. It's a little late, though, is
she's still like as big as she was? I feel
like she's fallen off a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:46:56):
Yeah. Well, Lil Wayne is playing at our Radio Fish
music festival. We should get us and Ray? Oh you should.
What's the our site? Say? Uh, yeah, that's that's fun.
That's where I saw the Chainsmokers.

Speaker 2 (01:47:09):
Yeah, hours called too, but my wife and my brother
in law massively excited about the little album. Good saw
time to go to the Iro festival.

Speaker 4 (01:47:16):
Okay, good, yeah they sit their awesome all right.

Speaker 3 (01:47:19):

Speaker 2 (01:47:28):

Like that's a movie I could see at home.

Speaker 1 (01:47:32):
Oh yeah you can know, Yeah, but you're paying to
see Wait, but I'll wait a couple of months on something.

Speaker 3 (01:47:38):
Yeah. Also on Friday we get the movie Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:47:42):
This one bombed.

Speaker 3 (01:47:44):
It was The Weekend and Jenna or Taga and he's
like a musician.

Speaker 2 (01:47:48):
Why would anyone? Why would anyone want to see you?

Speaker 1 (01:47:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:47:52):
The Weekend's been trying to be an actor for the
last time off oh no. And then also on Friday
to Digital, we have The Surfer. This is a movie
with Nick Page and it's kind of reminiscent of that
Falling Down movie. He goes back to his hometown to
surf and he gets like harassed by local surfers and
he mentally snaps and does like crazy wild stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:48:12):
So that comes to Digital on Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:48:14):
Coming to your streaming channels, to Netflix today, we have
a new series called Sarah Woman in the Shadows. Now
she's a retired intelligence agent, but her son dies prematurely
and there's a mystery survolving it.

Speaker 3 (01:48:32):
Coming to Netflix on Wednesday, we have a new docu
series called Power Moves with Shaquille O'Neill.

Speaker 4 (01:48:41):
Yeah, Shaq and Alan Iverson.

Speaker 3 (01:48:43):
It's all about them trying to revive Rebok and their
brand together.

Speaker 1 (01:48:48):
So it's all about that. Yep, it's shaq Hi finish
Inie the NBA.

Speaker 3 (01:48:57):
Oh yeah, and rebock your your brand. Yeah yeah, shoe
the shack, Wait the shack, Shoe Jordan. Technically, ye shack.
Will you let Chuck be involved in this at all?

Speaker 1 (01:49:12):
No, I'm doing with that guy. But you actually shows over. No,
you're gonna go to ESPN and do Inside the NBA together.

Speaker 2 (01:49:21):
Ernie knows. Ernie actually tried to do like a really
sentimental thing at the end of Inside the NBA and
you cut him off at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:49:28):
Yeah, clearly you ruined the moment. Shack. Okay, that's my show. Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:49:35):
Thursday to Netflix, we get season two of Tires. If
you've been watching that, I.

Speaker 2 (01:49:40):
Can't wait, dude, you can't wait. Season one is so funny.
Season two has Vince Vaughn in it, and it's it
looks great. I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (01:49:51):
Okay, Netflix, we get a new movie on Friday from
Tyler Perry.

Speaker 4 (01:49:55):

unforeseen path, So good luck with that. Coming to Hulu
on Friday, we have a new movie called Predator Killer
of Killers. Now this is like an adult animated the
commercial thing. Yeah, so it's all about like the fiercest warriors, but.

praise about time.

Speaker 2 (01:50:25):
Wait what man?

Speaker 3 (01:50:28):
Uh? Coming to Max now, this actually was released on Sunday.
A lot of people are talking about this one. The
Mortician watched it.

Speaker 1 (01:50:35):
Oh yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. It's basically about this mortician
up in Pasadena who was doing some shady business shape
with dead people's bodies, like well like not not sexual.
Oh okay, but yeah you got to see it. Okay, Yeah,
I don't want to gi away much.

Speaker 4 (01:50:52):
I know Emily was talking about being excited to see it.

Speaker 1 (01:50:54):
It's wild. Yeah, the Mortician on Max YEP.

Coming to Peacock to day, we have season seven of
Love Island USA if you're watching that one, and then

(01:51:20):
this seventeen year old golf phenom and he's gonna take
him under his wing and make a comeback.

Speaker 2 (01:51:27):
It's given me like ted Lasso type vibes, but I
don't know. The trailer looked okay, But Apple TV doesn't
miss with their TV show wows. Their movies are terrible,
but their TV shows are legit. Man, I'm a big fan,
So I'm gonna watch this.

Speaker 1 (01:51:42):
Stick stick ren for Happy Gilmore two.

Speaker 3 (01:51:45):
Yeah, and then finally coming to theaters on Friday. The
new big movie this Friday is from the world of
John Wick Ballerina.

for the streaming, but I will watch it alone. I
will watch pants off. Wait a minute, I hear you.

Speaker 1 (01:52:05):
All right, it's coming up tomorrow. We'll see if Emily
is back. I mean, we don't know. I mean he's
got those fatigue things. Plus Thor's MIDWEK meltdown happening all
tomorrow
