Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, there is a guy who I guess wants to
know if he is an a hole or not for
something that happened to him on a date. Now, the
date didn't go so well, sort of ended early, and
he's not sure if it was him being a jerk
or not.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, because after the date ended early, he heard from
the girl and she was like, what's what's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Is something wrong?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Like like he was the problem.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
So I guess.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
College college age, and in his new business class there's
a girl since school started that he has wanted to
ask out because I guess you know, she's really hot
and he's been one to ask her out all year.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
In this situation, I usually just stare. It doesn't really
go far from me. Yea, I have a staring problem.
I'll stare, you'll you'll you'll see me stare, and I'll
do the thing where I look around and looking, or
or I do the thing where I turn my head
to the other side like I'm staring in both directions.
Or I do the thing where I'm cracking my neck. Oh,

(01:02):
I'm really just I wasn't staring very obvious. Yeah, I
don't know what's wrong with me. I really have to
teach my son when he's born not to stare the
bad problem I have. Yeah. Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
So this guy finally gets up the courage and asks
this girl out, and he is so happy because she
says yes, and they set for for a first date,
just to go have drinks at a bar like their
college local bar.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
We're going to go have drinks.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
You're disappointed. It's a very normal thing.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
They're good college coffee drinks.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
It's the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Is he going to pay for her drink that I
don't know?

Speaker 5 (01:41):
I wasn't there.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
I don't know. Okay, okay, tell me.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Everything and I will as a gentleman.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Oh and the fact you asked her out?

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Of course.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
I walk in and you go, can I get you
a drink? And I tell you and then you get
it for me.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Oh, I don't like her.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
I would rather be like hard so we can.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Straight.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
I'd get her there. I'd walk in and I'd be like, oh,
you're getting the drink going home with this guy?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Excuse wow. So they decided they're going to meet at
this college bar. Great, So he shows up a little
early and she's not there yet, and then she ends
up coming in a little late and super apologetic, a
little frantic, and she says, I'm so sorry. I'm a
little late because my best friend and roommate has just

(02:40):
broken up with her long term boyfriend and was so
devastated that I didn't want to leave her.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
And you're so cool.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
So she's gonna hang out with us tonight because you know,
she's in a state, so I didn't want to leave
her alone. So he gets his date with the hot
chick he's been waiting for, and she shows up with
her sad, depressed best friend.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Two things.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Number One, I have been in the position before where
a girl brought a friend on a date. No, I'll
tell you about that in a second. Great number two,
this situation is heaven.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
What do you mean easy?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
This girl I really am into right you said, she's hot, beautiful, everything.
I am now going to give all my attention to
the other girl. And oh man, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
That sucks. So what happened.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Let's talk and I'm showing you all my concern and
my compassion, and I'm showing off the goods of what
a great guy.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
But also too, you're if you're really in this chick
like he has been. There's a party that's probably really
devastating a little bit, Like that sucks. You're probably you
have this, You probably were thinking of all these expectations
in your mind, what's gonna happen. You're a fire excited,
you're looking forward to and this happens. I get what
you're saying, and I agree with you. I also love
hot gossip, so that would be very exciting. I love drama.

(04:03):
So but there's a part of me, is she telling
the truth?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Like, well, I mean girls girls sometimes will lie and
bring their best friend with them because they aren't sure yet.
So is she really telling the truth that her best
friendly up broken up with or she wants to bring
her friend because my mom exactly, you're gonna find you're
gonna get the tea. Yeah, if she's not that depressed,

(04:28):
that sucks. Like she's not that upset, that sucks, and
like because then because then the girls lie. Yeah, so
if she's really upset, I feel like, yeah, exactly what
Eddie says, Yeah a long way.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, Well it's interesting because it sounds like this guy
is a mix of both of you. So when it
first happened, he said he was bummed it wasn't what
he was expecting for the night. But then he's like, okay,
well I'll be the good guy here.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
And you immediately have to go I know, worries it happened.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Okay, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I will have a good time.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I'm so sorry to hear about that break up. Okay,
and so.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
You're the nice, caring guy.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
They both like it.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Okay, Well, if I'm the guy, I say, hey, there's
a good way to get over him really fast.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I text them both the text this is weird.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, so he's trying to be that nice guy, like
Eddy said, and he's you know, oh my gosh, let's
talk about it. Let's let's get some drinks. Let's just
really hear what's going on. So they do that for
a while and then the conversation kind of okay, lightens up,
starts to change a bit. So he's excited, but then
there was he says, like ten minutes of that, and

(05:48):
then it just for the rest of the night became
just the two girls talking about the breakup, and like
almost like he wasn't there, like he was invisible after that. Yeah,
and so he said, after about like a half hour
of that, he felt invisible, He felt unwelcome. It was
depressing and weird. So he finally said, you know what,

(06:10):
you know, you you guys need some time together, like,
let's wrap this up early and hopefully we can do
this again.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Hit him up later and it was like what happened? Yeah,
and was like, what do you mean what happened?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
You seemed weirded out? You left early? Like what was
up with that?

Speaker 1 (06:26):
He takes back, This is again, this is all easy.
You just say, yeah, you know, it seemed like you
guys needed to talk about it. You were there for
your friend. I didn't want to. I didn't want to,
you know, like get involved in that and you know
like interrupt or or intrude and so uh, you know,
I'd love to see you, you know, when you have
a chance again one on one, but you know, yeah,
I didn't want I didn't want to, you know, make

(06:46):
it weird for.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
You guys play, which again is actually more points in
the guys like recogniself.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Honestly, it makes me like you more. And then you
go send a pick.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Yeah, this did happen to me. What's I was?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
There was a girl who was interested in me, and
I was kind of like I'm not really sure. She
was whatever, And so we met downtown at a bar
and I got there first. She came rolling in and
she had a friend with her, and I'm like, what
are you doing? You're you're into me, like why are
you bringing a friend? And it immediately turned me off

(07:25):
because I wasn't even really that in. I mean, it
was whatever, you know, I was gonna do it still,
but it was fine, and so I was immediately turned
off and I was irritated, and she knew it, and
but like, why are you bringing a friend? It didn't
make any sense. No, there was no reason for it.
And he's like, oh, here's my I brought my friend
Becky with me and blah blah blah. I'm like, okay, great, and.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
You're not doing the good good guy move trying to
get in there, and no.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I'm pissed because I'm not even that interested.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Okay, if you were interested, you would probably do that.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
It got way worse, so I'm not interested. Now I'm
irritated or whatever. At one point, I get up and
I go to the bathroom and I run in to
another girl that I was really into, who I knew
because she was one of these like promo girls for
like a tequila or a beer or something. Yeah, and
you know those girls a couple of week hand out,

(08:15):
you know, the key chains and stickers, exactly like an
Emily type. Well, she was so hot and I knew
her from like our bikini searches and stuff like that,
and we would always have like a little rapport while
she hit. I was like, oh you're here, and she's
like yeah, I'm about to be done. I go, oh, cool,
you want to go grab a drink somewhere else? And

(08:35):
she's like absolutely. And so I didn't even say goodbye
to the too, but I just left it. I left
with the hot chicken. I was like, screw you, Hey,
screw you. You gonna bring a girl your friend? Mountain Deuces
did the right thing, man, Thanks. So what happened with
this guy in this chicken? Any word or well?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
No, he's just wondering was that a jerk move? Because
she was out like making him feel like, now what?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Any but you asked another girl out on a date
while you were on a date.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
And I don't think he was on a date though. Girls,
if you bring your friend and it's not like this
specific situation that's on you if I, if I was,
if I was friends with this guy. Is a hitted
and quittit situation over this chick, over the chicka.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Wait what this is?

Speaker 4 (09:38):
You look up with her and then you try to
That's what you do.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
It would be great.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Thank you,
