Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, it finally happened. Last week. Emily and I got
to go to see Thor and the new baby baby Walker,
Giant baby Walker, which was very nice, and we got to,
you know, go do our visit and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I saw a baby yesterday and it was a friend's
baby and it was a normal size newborn baby. And
it was norm me after seeing baby Walker last week
and seeing this one, this one was like a half
its size, but it was a normal bit.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It was a normal, like eight pound baby, right like,
it's just the difference.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It's insana.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
It's crazy, an eleven pound newborn. I don't think you
gets to see that every day.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
No, no, I don't think I've ever seen one.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
No, no, I don't either.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
So it was it was freakish, but it was cool,
a very cute baby. So Emily and I got to
do our visit and all that stuff. Now, there was
some issues with meal trains and things like that, Emily clause, but.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I was I mean, I followed the direction.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
You didn't. You just wanted to see the baby first, whatever,
but whatever, we got through it. We had a lovely visit.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
We got it through did.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So yesterday was finally the day that Sky got to
see the baby, a full week and a half after us.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, that's how it happened. Well, so when you guys went,
you know, I knew Emily had signed up for that day.
So I'm like, well, if Emily signed up for that
meal train day, then clearly the day's already taken. So
I couldn't sign a normal person.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
You can't go see a baby if somebody signs up
for a meal train.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I figured the two would correlate, like the day you
do train, since you're going to Tulivisa anyway, that's the
day you're gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But if somebody all they wanted was to brag that
they were the first one to see the baby it
was the only day, then you know, I think you
got to get in there and do what you gotta do.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Somebody makes it about them and thinks that way, well
then that's right, right.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Right, right, right right, Well that's actually what you did.
I mean, I know you, I know you very well.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Anyway, it was the only day I could go. Sure,
So when I heard that, nothing ever going okay, I
had stuff talking about this one that one you did, Yes,
I did, you didn't. So when I heard the two
of you were going on the same day. I'm like, oh,
so the whole world's gonna go see this baby without me.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Basically at that point it would have made sense because
then the show's going right exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, what we did made sense. We're partners in crime,
are we? That's what they call us.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I don't know if they do.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
The world Cook knows Emily and Eddie are partners in crimes.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I mean, you guys were just yelling at each other
about thirty seconds.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I know, but I don't know that I love anybody more.
You're married, doesn't make it weird. Children. Yeah, if you
guys are all wait, what in a burning building? Who
am I saving? First? Oh? Me? Yeah, I didn't say that.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I would go your daughter, Taylor. I think that's who
you would say first.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Oh God for some jackets just done, I think. I mean,
he's the youngest, he's the youngest.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Really spiraling, you know, this is really spiral. It made
it true.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Real so so, and I don't want to have to
choose between my children. So I'm getting Emily Emily out
of this. Both of kids are going well, hopefully I'll
go back in hopefully. Yeah, thank you, you're not saving me.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Sure, I'm saving you, dude, Oky, I see this is
really your giant man.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
You can do it. You're freakishly strong.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
That is so true.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
One hand.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Is that Emily with Eddie over her shoulder.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
That's what partners in crime do you.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh okay, this is why. I mean, we're three minutes
into the show and it's already been a wild morning.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Hey, we have a long day together. Okay, my way
too early. Christas Friday tonight, Margueriteaville, let's go. This is
me today, Okay, okay, you're ready. I'm a little I'm
a little wacky today.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Okay, yeah, all right. Well so you two were going,
and then I felt like guilt and pressure, like everyone's
going to see the baby. I'm not going to see
the baby. That was Oh okay, you're partner in crime.
You're just want to I don't think that. It turned again.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
So that's why it felt so good being able to
see the baby as well. Okay, so Emily and I
check you guys check book. But here's what I had
going on.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I had some issues going on at home with the
hobby at that time. The hobby, well there's the whole
listitues from but but this was of the sick version
where the Hobby all of a sudden was having these
massive headaches, was getting nauseous, was basically in bed for
a couple of days, didn't know what it was. And

(04:30):
I'm like, well, I can't let these two go see
the baby without me like that, Like that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Why is that?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Well because again, like it'd be one thing if one
of you went, but now I'm like the only one
of the four of you. Well, it's not about being
your partner in crime. It's just not being the last
one or not being like left out of something that
all of us are involved in.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Things wasn't going to happen to me.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
So first, for a second, I'm like, do I keep
the booze sickness on the down low?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
You're going to infect the baby.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
But then I'm like, it's probably not worth the risk
of like serious, I mean because it's a newborn. I mean,
this is a newborn newborn and we had no idea
what was going on with my husband.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Here's the only issue is that four takes things wildly
personally on a very personal yes, and so being last
on the show to see the baby is a risk.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh it was it was up in and it will
be brought up for many, many, many many years.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
To come without a doubt.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yes, But then so we have that which is in
my mind. But then on the other side we have
hypochondriac Thor true that if he even thinks you're the
root cause that he got the sniffles, he'll lose it
and bring it up for years. So if I were
to infect his newborn child.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
He doesn't care about that. Oh he Haley cares about that.
Oh okay, he cares about him getting sick.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Oh, well, it would be a double doocy.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Then if so, if you, guys, obviously you're not gonna
get to be but if you got Thor sick, that
that's the end of the world. And you know how
he is. But baby, he'd be like whatever, Hayley would
be probably pretty upset.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, so I have all this weighing on me. The
one side, Yeah, I want to see the baby. I
don't want to hear for the rest of my life
how I'm the last one to see the baby. I
don't love the baby, I don't care about the baby.
But then on the other our hand, godparents, godmother and father. Yes, wow, guys,
oh good.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Luck anything happens to them. You're going to raise baby
Walker baby Walker together. Wow, that's part of the thing.
Partners that's what we do.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I get to move into your house. No, I forget it.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Okay, I'll come visit the baby at your house.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Wait, wait a minute. This doesn't seem like a partnership.
It doesn't. So now I have a new board. Yeah,
and I'm I'm a I'm a single mother basically, Well,
I mean I got I got Robert.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, I guess he no help.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
He's a child himself. So you're you now have three
kids in the house. Point, Okay, probably, Well he's a
little older. Sorry. So yeah, so I had all that
going on, but I said, better safe than sorry, even
if I do have to hear for the rest of
my show career that I don't love the baby as

(07:19):
much as you two love the baby. And I was
the last one in the whole entire world to see
this baby. But I figured that's better than getting the
baby sick.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah, and obviously it's all the boost fault.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, we can all blame the boom. We can all
point and blame the booth. So Monday was gonna be
my day. So we had said, okay, last week not
going to work out, Monday is going to be my day.
But then I learned because Eddie was in contact with
Thor over the weekend, that Thor himself had a trip
to the er over the weekend due to some weird
testical issue.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
I don't know that I was. We're allowed to bring
that up.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
I maybe I thought that was on the air, would
by somebody was my man would was okay with that,
But I have like a minute long dump button. No,
the last minute, the open problem that was the that
wasn't off. Their conversation gets a little confusing around here.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
That was insane.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry about that. Money didn't work for
him all. So they were they were down for the
count a little bit on Monday. Monday was the best day,
you guys for whatever reason.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Okay, to speculate, could be balls, could not be.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Could be elbows.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
You know, we don't know, nobody knows, nobody knows now.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Okay, So anyway, so Monday got rescheduled and we rescheduled
for Wednesday, which was yesterday. I like, honestly, I feel
like you guys have known this baby for a year
the way back, drily that's exciting.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
As the god parent I feel after.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Emily racis him until he's sixteen. Wait, you get to
come in for the fun stuff. Yes, and I have
to do the hard stuff.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Sorry, that's how it works.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Partner's Emily's doing school and homework and sicknesses, and Eddie's
showing up for the the first first drink at the bar. Yeah. Yeah, yes,
sounds like a bad deal, Emily. Yeah. So I show
up yesterday and I had sent over a door Dash

(09:36):
gift card as my meal train because you know it all,
it all correlates, So the meal train, I'm not We're
not fooling anybody here.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
So I do that and I show up and uh
they tell me gates unlocked. Come in because I really
I don't want to rile up the dogs. I don't
want to ring the bell or knock on the door.
I don't know if the baby's sleeping. You know, we
got that whole thing about with the meal train. There's
going to be a cooler outside, so you.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
You don't have any food.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
I still, cooler was outside, so you don't wake the
baby by ringing the bell or knocking on the door.
So I'm texting I'm outside, He's like, the gate's unlocked.
I can't get in this damn gate. You mean, I
feel like an idiot.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
He has like idiot.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
He has a courtyard that leads to his front door,
and he's telling me the gate is unlocked. But I'm
literally like pulling on it, shaking it. I can't get in.
I can't get in.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
You seem like a semi intelligent person. Yeah, how did
Emily and I get in that gate?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Was it open?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
No?

Speaker 3 (10:36):
It was It was stays close because in case their
animals get don't want to make Yeah. So there's like
a little cutout in it with like a bar, and
so it's to the point where I'm sticking my hand
through the cutout to see if there's like a lock
on the other side, like a las. Incredible, And I'm
thinking to myself, if they had a ring cam out
here right now, this footage would be would be yeah, yeah,

(10:58):
I would get anything to see. Yeah, and then I
can't door. No, I can't. I can't like fail right
out of.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
The gate took me.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
It took me ten seconds. I did have to fiddle
with it for ten seconds. Ten seconds not a long time.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Yeah, So I did have to fiddle just to seat house. Second.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Yeah, yeah, and so, but I mean it wasn't. After
I realized it wasn't a push pull situation.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
That was my next step because I'm like, I can't fence.
Oh seriously, I'm just gonna live out here. This is
my new home. Yeah, did look a little roomy in there.
Of course I have to check it out. So finally
they have to come out of the house on get
you to get me because I yeah, well, I'm texting, yeah,

(11:44):
I'm convinced. I'm convinced I'm locked out that it's locked,
and they don't realize it's locked.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
No.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
It turns out it's this weird handle I've never seen
before where it's like a bar and you like slide
it and then it unlatches the gate. And I felt
like such an idiot, but.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Because you yeah, because you're.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Okay, okay. So I get in and immediately I am
led to the sink. Go to the sink for what
drink of water? No, not for a drink of water
to fully wash my hands?

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Yeah, a surgeon.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Well, so that's the thing. So you guys know me
when you know I go to the bathroom hand washing,
maybe optional for me. You know what, occasionally, if there's
other people in the bathroom, all fake a nice hand wash,
you know, a little quick under the water here we go, okay, great,
but they're watching me, dude, They're like a hawk watching.

(12:34):
So I'm like, I gotta do this.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Why are you fighting cleaning your hands as the weirdo?

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Second, I'm not fighting cleaning my hands, but I know
that my normal hand washing isn't gonna be good. Yeah,
you always go situation.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
It's it's because it's like anytime I've ever gone to
see a new baby, the minute you walk in the door,
nobody even needs to ask me. I had bee line
it straight to the sink. You do a really good
hand wash.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Yeah, and so you're gonna So that's what I'm like,
My normal hand wash isn't going to be acceptable. So
I pull up the sleeves all the way to the elbow.
I'm like putting soap on my forearms, like literally like surgery. Yeah, yeah,
I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
And I know you don't use soap to clean your face.
Did you wash your face at all?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
I don't know why I would wash my face and
they would have liked was okay? I mean, you know,
straight from work.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
You know, you get close to the baby, you don't
you don't use soap to wash your face. I would
have suggested it.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Okay, okay, would you wash your face?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Please your face to wash my face.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
So, probably, like you guys experienced, I got the baby,
and he's adorable. He is so cute.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Don't you get tired though, Like you're holding the baby here,
I'm like, oh my god, my arms are falling.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
A pillow underneath my arm especially. Oh yeah, very feeble.
I'm very feeble. But it is kind of cool because
I feel like newborns like always kind of alien like
because they're so small and wrinkly, and but he's like
cute like toddler.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Look, yeah he's fully grown.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Yeah, he's like fully grown. I'm like, this is amazing.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
You see his five o'clock shadow.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Yeah, it was coming in. I brought. I brought a
gift of razors. Yeah. So he was cute, you know,
but I definitely felt the vibe. The first time he
got fussy, both Thorn and Haley were like ready to
jump out in their chair and like rescue.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Him to new parents too, Yes, when you have a
second one, you guys wouldn't know this. Okay, well you
have a second one that starts to happen and you
just sit there and go, oh that's all you Yeah,
you can keep them, keep them, keep getting up at
all if you want. You want to take care of this.
This is great. But new parents, Yeah, new parents, you
go oh yeah me, and you don't like want the

(14:48):
person to feel bad because the baby's griding. You have
all these other things going on. It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Yeah, but I felt like that they're settling in and
they're like getting in and like they're not that they're
rested by any means, but looking like healthier because I
know they both had you know.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Thor had a real big issue with changing the diaper.
Didn't couldn't figure it out. Baby Walker would pee on him,
poop on him like NonStop. Have they finally figured that
out yet?

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I think so? But like not, like he was almost
bragging about it, like, oh, you guys, even though these
are all the things we told him, everything, everything, it
was like that, oh yeah, well, when you know when
his his little boy parts hit the air, you know, oh,
he's gonna go pee, And it's like, yeah, we all,
we all told you that Eddie specifically told you there's
something to cover it. But yeah, so I feel like

(15:39):
they're they're settling in, which made me feel really good,
you know, like and happy for them because it's a
heart transition. And then I presented them with a little gift.
I brought uh a shirt from the Long Beach Aquarium
with an otter on it, so Thor rolled his eyes
inside and Haley gave me a thank you. That's so sweet.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
So that thing is getting tossed to the side and
never going on.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
That baby, I can use it as the cover people.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Yes, that would be perfect. I like that. I'm actually
surprised the sky's here were able to wait figure out
how to get out till the gate.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Well, once I figured out how the latch were now
I know, guys. Now I'm good.
