Speaker 1 (00:00):
And it is past one o three point five. Were
the on K Morning Show. Up with you here six
oh five. I'm Ellen, good.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Morning, I'm Ryan Mano, good morning, I'm Social Queen Darlene.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Good morning. I'm producing Mike Gromos, and we take you
back twenty three years. I'll never forget it. Rick Dy's,
Victor Brick Jacobs, all of our TV's going, vic hit
a separate little sports studio. What we were all glass
we could see each other and uh we were watching
the TV's as the second plane went in nine to eleven.
(00:33):
So today is a day of remembrance. I know that.
We then opened up the phones and you called and
we just talked, so you can do. Yeah, you know,
we stayed on the air for well the rest of
the day, and I was extremely pregnant, so when the
first plane went in. Let's see, I gave birth on
(00:54):
twelve thirty, so this was nine to eleven. So yeah,
the first plane went in and my body just reacted
and I started having contractions and feeling dizzy. And then
the second plane went in lost it again like we
all did. And then eventually, I think after about six
or seven hours on the air, Rick d sent me home.
(01:16):
He said, you have to go home and lay down.
You are so pregnant and just for the safe of
your baby. But anyway, yeah, give us a call with
your memories. I found a beautiful piece a firefighter talking
about that day.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
We were the first ones there. We were repelling from ropes,
doing all types of things, just trying to find people
that might still be alive in this unbelievable, monstrous wreckage
on nine to eleven. Everything was just twisted metal, you know,
pulverized concrete. Nothing that resembled an office building. It was
pretty remarkable.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, well where were you?
Speaker 2 (01:57):
I was in Naperville, Illinois, attending college at North Send College,
just about to go downstairs to pick up my girlfriend
at the time, and every morning we would go to
the cage to get coffee. That was our little restaurant.
I went down there and she said, watch this, Look
at this. What's going on? And the one thing I
do remember and I'll never forget, you know, that morning.
(02:17):
It was such a contrast because it was such a
beautiful day. The skies were blue, there was a breeze,
birds were chirping, the leaves were starting to turn. It
was the best feeling day, but the worst. Yeah, because
the contrast of what you were seeing versus what you
were feeling and looking at out your window was just
(02:37):
two different worlds.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yeah, it's nuts. Well, give us a call if you
want to talk. We are here. Also, we're gonna go
Inside Entertainment. Coming up, there's a huge bidding war for
one famous mommy. I think you might know who she is,
but we'll tell you who wants her, how much they're offering,
and who she is.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Next, it's the L and K Morning Shell.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
I mean, feels so good this morning.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Thanks Coast one three point five Coast one O three
point five Inside Entertainment with lank Well.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
After Amazon signed Jason and Travis Kelsey's New Heights podcast
to a one hundred million dollar deal, they've turned their
sights on their mama, Donna. Amazon wants Donna to host
a companion show focused on her Midwest kitchen skills. She
specializes in baking desserts and cast roles. The boys talk
about it all the time, and cast roles are great.
(03:28):
As a kid growing up one of six, we always
had cast roles and we would pass it around the
table sat in starvation corner because I was the youngest,
so I would get the last one, like it was
always the tuna noodle bake and with a you know,
with that like cheesy, crusty cheddar cheese baked on top,
and I would get like the dry edged noodle corner
(03:50):
park a little burnt. Anyway, Donna has other opportunities and
tons of offers on the table. Other channels and TV
groups have shown interest in Donna Kelcey, so she has
to make up her mind. But you know, Amazon's going
to just bring the money. So her boys are with Amazon.
Why not keep it all in the family. It's looking
(04:11):
like she's going to go there. And Drake has come
out and said that he turned down repeated request to
be the Super Bowl halftime performer after the fact, after
Kendrick said, Hey, I'm going to do the halftime show
New Orleans. Let's go. And now Drake, because you know
they're big feud. I think that they should both do
a rap battle in front of one hundred million people
(04:33):
to settle the feud once and for all. Yeah. So anyway,
he made the big claim and he said that he's
the one that opened the door for Kendrick because he
turned it down. So okay, and we're going to talk
about Dave Girl in his surprise love child. Oh guys,
I saved the best for last here. Yeah, I got
(04:54):
the alerts yesterday. Dave Girl who was married a second marriage,
but he's been married since two thousand and three and
have now unfollowed him on social media and he's become
a dad again, not with his wife Jordan, but with
a love child. So Girl and his current wife have
been married for that twenty one years. They have three
daughters together, eighteen year old Violet, fifteen year old Harper,
(05:15):
ten year old Ophelia.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
For years. I have held that man in such high regard.
I felt damaged by this yesterday and I'm not even involved.
I felt like it's like if Keanu Reeves or Dolly
Parton swerved us by doing something.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Hand swerve is right?
Speaker 5 (05:28):
This?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, you know, he was last at Wimbledon with his
wife and he was really short tempered with all the
reporters because he knew, you know, this baby was coming.
So I don't know, you know, our letter to Ellen
could be a precautionary tale, uh, for a Dave Girl
situation in your own life. And if you have a
situation we talk about it's Onnesday. You read your letters
(05:51):
to Ellen at eight to get him INSTI time.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
This is Jeremy Renner.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
This is Kate Hudson.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
This is Joe Coy and I'm chilling with my home girl,
Allen K. Morning Show, Ellen K Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I'm Coast one three point five.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
I love you so much.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Ellen.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
So Ryan just checked my lottery ticket. I spent four
dollars on one for mega millions. And what did it say? Ryan?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
It says, oh, sorry, you're not a winner.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Well that's me. But who are you? You just want
a four pack?
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Hi?
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Good morning Ellen, Rebecca.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Hey Rebecca, you're a winner.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I took the L with the lottery. You took the
W with this four pack to the wild robot. Great, congratulations.
You're just waking up. What you're doing working from home?
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Okay, what do you do?
Speaker 7 (06:43):
I'm doing research?
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Okay. It takes a lot of discipline to get up
early and then you know you're working at home, so
you're your own boss at your house, and then to
do your research early, and then thank you for having
us on while you research.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
Right?
Speaker 7 (07:00):
Thanks Ellen, God, I'm shaking.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Oh wake up with Ellen K.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
You guys are the best.
Speaker 8 (07:06):
I love listening to you.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
I listen to you every day.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
We love being here with you.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Post one oh three point five, big.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Fiery debate last night between our two presidential candidates, and
now today they are in New York City for some
nine eleven memorial services and we need happiness.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
That's right, it's coming up.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Ellen.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
When I say two words, I want you to tell
me what you think of these guys. Belly rubs.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Oh, I love to give them. My Australian shepherd loves
her belly rubbed, and it supposedly releases all their endorphins.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
You assume I'm talking about a dog, do you I
do belly rubs and.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
You wake up with ellen K.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Hi, this is Tiffany Hattison. You're listening to the Ellen
k Morning Show. Coast one O three point five. She ready,
keep it Good's your happiness hack for life?
Speaker 2 (07:56):
One more thing on hold oats. Remember that morning just
not too long ago they both called us on the
same morning, like the day after they broke up.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah, back to bad I.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Mean, within five minutes of each other.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Unbeknownst to each other. Yes that was crazy.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yes that is not happy. But your happin attack for life.
And Ellen, you did mention you love giving belly rubs
to your dogs. And here on a wet nose Wednesday,
I will say, not only is it a benefit to
your dog, but it's a benefit to you.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Oh okay, is that why I love it so much?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
I think so so. Science has found that when we
lay down, even just for five minutes and give our
dogs a belly rub, it increases our quality of life.
It relaxes you. Anything repetitive like that, A repetitive motion
to a human is super relaxing. And it just kind
of resets you.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Oh I love that gives you balance. Rub that belly rub,
it gets your benefits.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
It's the ellen k Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
It's so good this morning.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Thanks y post one O three point box top stories,
top of the hour.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Good morning of Ellen K. And on this day, twenty
three years ago, the US suffering a tremendous loss of
loved ones in the September love and terrorist attacks. Three
thousand people killed when hijackers crashed the planes into the
World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania.
And it is with our deepest respect that today we
remember the victims. It is National Remembrance Day. If you
(09:12):
want to have a really vivid remembrance, you can go
to Pepperdine have all the flags up. Still not a
national holiday, but yet our kids are learning about it
in textbooks. And when we did have that day happen
on nine to eleven, it's now us living history and
(09:32):
it's in the history books. And speaking of things happen
in Donald Trump and Kamala Harris held their first presidential
debate in Philadelphia. It's the only debate between the two
candidates scheduled between now and November, the presidential election fifty
six days away. If you're not registered to vote already,
consider doing it now. Both candidates in New York City
for nine to eleven remembrances and three wayward fires continuing
(09:55):
to rage in the region. This morning, the Line fire
has grown to thirty four thousand acres, now threatening Big Bear. Also,
after initially believing this one was started by dry lightning,
authorities determined it was arson and just made an arrest.
Justin Haustenberg of Norco is being held on eighty thousand
dollars bail. There's also the airport fire in Tribuco Canyon
twenty two thousand acres burn zero containment and what about
(10:18):
this one. There's also the sad to say that Mountain
High Ski Resort has burned to the ground. So we're
following those fires for you. Campbell Soup is planning to
drop the soup and call themselves the Campbell Company. The
CEO said, there's so much more than soup. They've won
a bunch of other brands, including Goldfish Snacks. So it
is the end of an era. After one hundred and
(10:39):
fifty five years, Campbell Soup is now Campbell's Company. And
we do have a hot day today, but not as
hot as it has been. And we remember when eighty
five seemed hot. That's your high today, rasiita eighty five,
rialto up to eighty five as well, and right now
it is sixty five. In Burbank, it's kost Los Angeles
Coast one a three point five wake.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Up with Lank.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
You guys are the best.
Speaker 8 (10:59):
I love listening to you.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
I listen to you every day.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
You'd love being here with you.
Speaker 9 (11:03):
Coast one oh three point by so much happening here
in the south Land with all the fires that and
you haven't talked about it, Ryan, so I totally forgot
or playing the Cubs.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yes, so the Cubs are in town for a three
A three yea. Pete crow Armstrong is playing for the Cubs.
He was called up because Bellinger's on the injured list,
right correct, My facts are right so far right good.
So Pete crow Armstrong went to Harvard Westlake, and he
also went to Wesley Elementary here in Burbank. And he
(11:39):
is a good friend of my son, Calvin Locklin. So
Calvin and Pete grew up together. We watched Pete's journey
as he said, I'm going to be an MLB player.
He said it from the time he was in kindergarten
and now he is.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
That's right. And if that name isn't ringing a bell,
he's the one just two weeks ago who hit the
fastest inside the park home run. You probably saw that
video fourteen point one sets from home to home.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
He was born and raised right here in the south Land,
because miracles come from southern California. So Pete grow Armstrong
stole three runs from the Dodgers. He's on his terra
firma home home home he is, and the Dodgers look
to avoid the sweep.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Tonight to my Chicago comes go I wish both of them.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Well, okay, I decided to get that out of the way. Yeah,
all right, it is nine to eleven. Both presidential candidates
are there now, boots on the ground with a Latin memorial,
remembrances and observances. And I was on the air on
KISSFM at the time with Rick D's when it happened
(12:46):
twenty three years ago, so you know, like all of
us were in shock. And thank you for your calls
this morning too. Let's go to Paris, Chaney. We're just
you know, remembering this day and all who lost their
lives and all of the brave firefighters and first responders
who were on the scene. But where were you, Well,
(13:09):
when the plane's.
Speaker 6 (13:10):
First hit, I was still at home getting ready for school,
and I had no idea what the twin towers were, what,
you know, the magnitude of what was happening, I didn't understand.
So when I got to first period class, I was
in ninth grade, and my teacher had the news playing
on TV and she was just devastated and telling us,
you know, what was going on, and we were just
(13:31):
like wow and shock. I'll never forget that day. And
about eight here's agoing I actually went to New York
during nine to eleven and went to one of the memorials,
and we actually stayed at the hotel across the street
from Brown Zero, and from the window you could look
down and it was just a giant hole. So they were,
(13:53):
you know, still doing the construction and all of that.
But yeah, it was crazy to you know, experience that.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
For sure. We all have our riveting memories of that,
and you can keep your calls coming to It's eight
hundred and ninet two nine. Kost I looked back at
the kiss up on logs to see what song was
playing when we looked up at our TVs and saw
the horrifying site of that first plane.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
So like the song that was playing at that exact second.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
That exact second East coast time it was it was
I believe eight forty six am, so five forty six am,
and I found the song that was playing on this
day twenty three years ago. Blue Cantrell hit him up
style Wow, while he was demon with Demon and the
(14:45):
Bemon just demon.
Speaker 9 (14:47):
Can't believe that a comim and Jeden, So I found
him all the way to make him vay home at all?
Speaker 1 (14:53):
There you go, Oh what a great song too, and
then like you were talking about Ryan, there's so many
contrasts where this is beautiful blue sky and then there's
horrible tragedy, this great song and then smoke Yeah wow,
eight hundred nine nine Kost.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
It's the Lank Morning Showcase.
Speaker 7 (15:13):
This is Sunshine and a ball.
Speaker 1 (15:15):

So we want you to be there. Just be the

Speaker 4 (16:38):

Linda. Hello, Linda's on our way to work at pih
Wittier Hospital. Thank you for having us on.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Hi, uh so are you running on time? Are the
roads treating you well? Not at all? Yeah, I'm I'm
so sorry. Well, what's your guess? Forty five percent of
all men experience this every day.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
I'm gonna say anxiety, because if it's anything like my life,
you know.
Speaker 7 (17:15):
You were all the same.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yep, that's a great guess. It is not the right answer.
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
All right, well, thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
I have a great day, you too, You and I
of Lisa working Glendora Citrus College. Hey Lisa, thanks for
having us on at work.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
Thank you nice to be here.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
What's your guests?
Speaker 4 (17:35):
I think it's deja.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Oh dejah vu. Forty five percent of all men experienced
this daily dejavou where they could swear this is this
incident has happened before, and most men I know don't
have a great memory.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Come on, this is wrong with you today?
Speaker 6 (17:54):
Jeez?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Exactly?
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Oh deja is a great guess.
Speaker 7 (18:01):
All right, thank you, thank everyone.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
All right too.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Let's go to Susie at work in Paris. Thanks for
having us on at work.
Speaker 7 (18:10):
Susie, thank you for having mem Yeah, we want to note.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Your guess is so forty five percent of all men
experience what daily? Is it? Aggie a wedgie? Interesting choice
of guesses. What made you think that?
Speaker 7 (18:28):
I don't know, most people get him through out the day. Well,
and I was.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
Thinking too, if a man wears boxer under his clothes,
the boxers, not the boxer briefs boxers. Isn't that always
a wedgie? Like, I don't understand how they might not
be wedging any they ride. It's kind of more of
a thigh wedge. Well, Susie, you say a weggie, You
(18:52):
are right? You're going to stagecoach?
Speaker 8 (18:56):
No way, Yes, that's right.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
It is. That's three days, three day passes and it's
a pair of those, this stage coach. For of all
men experience a wedgie every day. That's almost half of
all men. And if you are wedging right now, we
are so sorry. And there's no graceful way of fixing
(19:23):
the situation in public.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Well, you can like just do a casual like just
a little bent.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
There's some comedians that do that, like when you put
your leg up on like, you know, up on a
I don't know a step, and then you can kind
of get it out of there, stretch a little bit.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
And I will also say I have found that if
there's nothing there, it can't wedge. Oh, Ryan and I
found the perfect songs.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
It's the morning Shell.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
In love with you?
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Is that official? Are we dating?
Speaker 8 (20:02):
We are online dating?
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Coast one, Oh, three point five top stories top of
the hour.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Good morning, I'm ellen k Three wayward fires continuing to
rage in the region this morning. The Line fire in
Highland has grown to thirty four thousand acres, now threatening
Big Bear. Resident Shari Richardson says she's not leaving yet.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
We have been told to evacuate, but we feel we
have our animals and we want to take care of
them and we feel safe.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
I mean, we're going to put our human lives first, obviously. Yeah,
And there has been an arrest in the case. Justin
Holstenberg of Norco is being held on eighty thousand dollars
bail for arson. Governor Newsom has deployed the National Guard
amid the state of emergency declaration. There's also the Bridge fire,
which sadly has claimed Mountain High Ski Resort has been
(20:48):
burned to the ground, and then the airport fire in
Tribuco Canyon twenty two thousand acres zero percent contained. Will
keep you up to the moment on this Australia intends
to implement a minimum age for social media users, likely
between fourteen and sixteen years old. Somewhere you could push
online activity underground, so that is on just so that
is going to go before they are lawmakers. And also
(21:10):
Target has partnered with six furfluencers to promote new pet
products after finding seventy percent of Target shoppers own a pet.
Maybe that is you? And what about this? The world's
largest bounce house is going on tour. It's coming to
Sokw the Big Bounce America Tour, featuring a massive mix
of inflatable attractions all connected. So imagine twenty five thousand
(21:31):
square feet thirty two feet high. One of the sections
is octoblast, part bounce house, part foam party. How great
is that? Then there's Aerospace. It's a five lane slide
that goes to a circular moonwalk. It just sounds like
someone drummed this and made it. It'll be in europe
a valley starting early October, so of course we'll be
your hookup for that. And finally, we have bandished that
(21:52):
extreme Heat eighty five for your high today for more
comfy tomorrow, tumps in the upper seventies, outstanding Southgate eighty
for your highs. You'll beach seventy five today and right
now sixty five in Burbank. We run on Celsia's Energy
Dreams kost Los Angeles Coast one o three point five.
We have your four packs coming up to Disney Halloween time.
And also we're going commercial free this hour, and you're
(22:15):
a letter to Ellen coming up.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
It's the Ellen k Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (22:18):
Allen, we love you, We listen to you every morning religiously.
We implore you.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Cost one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
So your letters to Ellen.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Right.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
This one comes to us from Sarah and it goes
like this, all right, Dear Ellen. I've been married to
my childhood sweetheart for ten years, and we have two
wonderful children who keep us active with sports and activities.
For the past year, I've noticed my husband and I
are both exhausted with work at home duties, and in
(22:49):
an effort to make our lives a little more convenient,
we shared everything. We shared our calendars, our contacts, we
shared our locations, our passwords. Until one day I realized
my husband has created I did a new iCloud account
because he said he didn't want my contacts or pictures.
It was junking up his box. Now we share nothing.
That started a snowball with other issues, and now it's
(23:10):
really hard to talk about anything. We've totally drifted apart.
It's driving me to think bad things. Is this fixable?
And how do I bring it up? So Sarah, let's
see childhood, sweetheart, the kids share everything and now share nothing.
That is such a red flag. Why doesn't he want
the shared anymore?
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Well, he said, why I don't buy it? Okay, can
I tell you something? This is real from experience. I
had an ex and we shared like calendars that we shared.
It took me so long after we broke up to
stop getting her. Oh, she has a dentist appointment like
I was getting alerts and it's a mess.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
But these two are married and managing a family.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
So what you know? You have to know?
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Like I would like to know yesterday my husband had
a haircut. I had no idea.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
But why do you need to know?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Because maybe someone has to be at the house to
get the delivery. I don't know, they're just different reasons.
Or the electrician, Like, we had a bunch of broken
stuff and so it's nice to be able to schedule
an electrician to come fix the kitchen lights knowing one
of us is going to be there and that I'm
not somewhere and he's not somewhere. I'll tell you exactly
how it would happen at my house. I'm cornering Alex
(24:18):
and I'm like showing him the phone. Why did you
do this? Yeah, exactly, Why all of a sudden do
you not want to be in this family management with me?
Because it's worked all this time, and now you're gone.
I think he's cheating.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Oh my god, I'm making him unlocking in front of me,
and I'm like.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
You have full access and now you have nothing. Wait, seriously,
you have nothing. You had full access and now you
have nothing.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
But if you're in a trusting partnership, you look at
your partner and you go, hey, what do you have
nothing to worry about?
Speaker 1 (24:47):
I don't trust you anymore because you just ghosted me. No,
it's look, it's just Ryan. Think of it. All these years,
everything is there, everything's going fine, and now he's gone.
That's not normal.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
He's not gone. He's right there next to her.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Uh, he's physically there. Give us a call. Eight hundred
and ninety nine, KOSG it's the Ellen k Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
He need to wake up to the coast.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
One o three point five letters to Ellen and the
phones are are ringing? All right, Sarah bo to us.
She said, uh, She've been married to her childhood sweetheart.
They've shared everything, past codes, everything, and now he's off
and create his own iCloud account. He doesn't want his phone.
Junkeed up. So, Nicole, you heard the letter. What do
you think?
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Hi?
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Good morning?
Speaker 7 (25:34):
Oh my gosh. It infuriates me to hear that story
about the lady with her husband and all I see.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
I'm with you, though I.
Speaker 7 (25:41):
Agree, I think he's cheating.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yeah, I just feel so bad that everything was fine.
They shared everything. A calendar, a shared calendar is so valuable,
and then also the contacts, the location, the passwords, everything,
Oh the.
Speaker 7 (25:58):
Red flag and you can't share that and then unshare
it with that very very valid reason, especially a husband.
I would be like, hey, that's not right.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
I need to know why you did that.
Speaker 7 (26:10):
And I think Ryan said like, oh, he's right there,
he's right next to you, but it doesn't matter, like
he undid it, so undoing something it is like where
the red flag is.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Yes, yes, it would be like all of a sudden,
he's not wearing his wedding ring anymore.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
Oh that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
No, And they don't we just boxing now and I
don't want to cut my finger.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
Oh yeah, that's not baloney, baloney. I don't buy it.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
We need some guys to call, and I want to hear.
I just want to hear a really solid defense. There
isn't one that will please you.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
There is not one. There does not exist the defense
that you will buy.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
You.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
I agree.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
The cole knows what's up? That's what. What's this guy doing?
Why is he off the family share? I don't I
just don't understand.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
The Ellen Tbrdy Show.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Coast one of three point five Happy It's We're the
only K Morning show. Thank you for getting up with us.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
I can't change it.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
I've run from the car to the office, from the
car to the house.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
I can't sing it off. Peas great.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
The Ellen K Morning Show on Coast one, oh three
point five.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
Hi, good morning, Ellen, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Who's this?
Speaker 4 (27:30):
This is Rick?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Rick? Good news for you.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Oh wow, Collor twenty, you're a winner, Yes you are.
Oh wow, Thank you Ellen, Thank you.
Speaker 6 (27:40):
Rick.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
What do you to right now?
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Doing the long commute to work?
Speaker 6 (27:45):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (27:45):
How long?
Speaker 5 (27:47):
It's been close to an hour? Now?
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Oh wow?
Speaker 8 (27:51):
What road are you on ww I go all.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
The way up to work in Mentura, so taking the
back roads okay?
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Oh man, Well sorry about that commute, but we're happy
that we're there in your car with you and that
you just run a for facted Disney.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (28:05):
It's always a great way to start the more listening
to you and everyone there, and and even better to win.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Yeah, Halloween time. We can't wait for you to experience
all the frights and the thrills.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Hey, Rick, one quick thing before we stick in hold.
Did you hear today's letter to Ellen?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yes? I did?
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Okay, and your thoughts, sir, Oh, that's problematic at the
very least.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Yeah, problematic at the very least. Do you believe that
there is intent to cheat or cheating that has.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Happened without knowing anything else?
Speaker 7 (28:41):
I would hate to just make that accusation.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
One doesn't, she doesn't.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Hang on Rick.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
One of three point five the Ellen k Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Unfortunately, that's just song or Sarah, who wrote a letter
to Ellen today, I can love me better than you can.
Her husband has now disassociated with family pretty much. They
shared everything the sweethearts since childhood. Two wonderful kids, sports activities,
(29:19):
and you know, when you're busy like that and you're
managing a family, it really helps to share everything, calendar's, contacts, location, passwords.
This guy decides to get off all that create his
own iCloud, and I think he's cheated. It's classic communication problems. Yeah,
totally see.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
But this technology situation has we've created our own problem.
How long were your parents married for?
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Oh my gosh, well they just celebrated their heavenly seventieth.
But when my dad passed it was yeah, it was,
it was almost seven.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
But they didn't share iCloud and location. They didn't do it.
My parents when it was available, they did it. Okay,
today is my parents' forty fourth wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary,
Gary and Joanne. Manno, you know what they share well
besides love, trust, quality time and a calendar on the fridge.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Okay, happy anniversary, Mana, Yeah, happy, I'm serious.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
That's how people did just find before all.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
This well, he was in it and now he's not.
So if you've never done it, then you've never done it.
But if you're in it and then you're gone, I
think there's a big problem here. Monica, thank you for calling.
Speaker 8 (30:32):
What do you think well, I totally agree to red flag.
As a woman who has been cheated on for three
years by a marriage of fifteen years. At that time,
something changed in the behavior, and I thought, it's just,
you know, we're a little bit older, we'll have different patterns.
I was naive, contrusting, but I do agree it's a
(30:56):
red flag and she should address this right away because
it's only.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
I agree, And I'm so sorry what you went through.
And thank you for your input.
Speaker 6 (31:06):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
All right, Monica, it's like every song that we're playing
next morning, did you put this on? Udder? No? I
just just here, Bonjo, come.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
B the Llenk Morning Show on Coast one oh three
point five top.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Stories top the hour. Good Morning of ellen K. And
there's a moon circling around Jupiter called Europa. Next month,
NASA is sending a spacecraft there to explore beneath its
icy crust, where they believe there's an ocean and signs
of life. One of the biggest challenges is the high
amount of radiation the equipment will have to h with,
you know, endure to survive. And US News and World
(31:48):
Report is named Switzerland the best place in the world
to live for the third year in a row, Japan
coming in second, followed by the US. San Francisco forty
nine ers have the most expensive tailgate it almost three
hundred dollars. Parking alone is one third of that. The
rest of the top three are the most expensive tailgates
La Rams two hundred and sixty bucks and then followed
(32:10):
by the Cowboys at two forty so the Rams coming
in second on that list. And what about this? Six
pack surgery is on the rise for men. Cosmetic surgeons
across the country are noticing a trend that more and
more men are turning to six pack surgery to get
chiseled abs and a y little V line sculpting of
domino muscles and without having to go to the gym.
(32:30):
It's all due to a rise in men showing their
torsos on Instagram. And what about this? We love field
goods and we love your field goods. Ninety four year
old woman boarded an airplane. She was struggling to find
her seat. She appeared confused couldn't really navigate the narrow aisle,
so the flight attendant noticed her struggle. She was about
to help her, but then a guy got up out
(32:52):
of first class and said take my seat. I will
go sit at the back of the plane. The flight
attendant was emotionally moved. She noticed how this thoughtful act
also changed the attitude of everyone on the flight. Science
says the simple active kindness is not only a boost,
but it's also a reminder that even the smallest act
has a profound impact on everyone who sees it. So
(33:13):
do something nice for someone today, make sure they see it.
Let's win in on the freeway and we have banished
the extreme heat eighty five for your high today. Recida,
you go to eighty five. We alto eighty five as well.
We cool down even more tomorrow into the year for
seventies and it is seventy in Burbank. We run on
Celsius Energy drinks. It's Kost Los Angeles Coast one of
three point five and coming up, we have a surprise
(33:35):
outing for you, and we're also commercial free Wake.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Up with Ellen k.
Speaker 8 (33:39):
You guys are the best. I love listening to you.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
I listen to you every day.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
We'd love being here with you.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
Post one oh three point five Coast.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
One of three point five. Travis and Jason with their
one hundred million dollar Amazon podcast deal and now Donna
Kelce getting huge offers. Everybody wants her to do a
kitchen companion show, so we'll see if she'll go with
Amazon or someone else. A bidding war for Donna Kelsey, and.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
It's all about her award winning cast roles, I guess right,
cast roles.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, just all of the foods that she makes, a
lot of comfort food. She bakes so much. So we'll
see where she lands and how much money she'll get.
All right, It is a day of remembrance nine to eleven.
We all remember where we were when the tragedy happened,
and we will never forget. Pepperdine has the flags up
(34:29):
and Jacob Amrani is on our line right now. We're
going to get to him in one second. But this
day of remembrance, we all remember an honor in our
own ways, and Jacob has something special. So Jacob, thank
you for coming on. What is this day to you?
Speaker 5 (34:45):
You know? To me, I just think about all the
great first responders that made such a difference, you know,
in everyone's lives, and make a difference every single day
in people's lives. And I thought this was a great
time that for our listeners, you know, to tell me
about a first responder they know in their life that
makes a difference every single day, and what we want
(35:07):
to do is give them a VIP experience to go
with me to an LAFC soccer game and get a
full experience. Go to the game, go on the field,
get to know the players, and there's always you know,
when you're somewhere with me, you're always going to get
some special surprise as well, and we thought that would
be a good way to appreciate them and say thank you.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
So we're going to go to your Instagram call dot
Jacob and enter a first responder we know and love,
and then you'll have a drawing for this VIP experience
with LAFC.
Speaker 5 (35:39):
Absolutely, and it would be great if you tell me
a little bit about why you think this particular first
responder is the one that we should pick. And if
you can tell me a little bit from your heart,
you know, how you feel about them, that would be
fantastic because I'm going to be reading these all myself
and I'm going to be very involved and who gets
picked and who's going to get a chance to hang
out and get this amazing experience.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Jacob, Thank you, I'm so happy that we called Jacob.
Speaker 5 (36:04):
Called Jacob, thank you, thank you for all you guys
do every single day.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Well, Jacob, I'm Ronnie, thank you. So it's a VIP
package LAFC. You'll go with Jacob. He has a sweet theairty.
You can take you on the field, you're you can
go in the locker room. He does a whole thing.
He's he's so motivational. He goes in with the Lakers
and also la FC before the games and speaks with
them and gets them all fired up. So we want
you to go to his instagram. Call that Jacob. First Responders.
(36:31):
Let's honor first responders. Jacob's going to read all of
your entries, but you do it on his Instagram. Call
that Jacob and tell us all about our first responder
who really deserves just a night out of fun.
