One of three point five the Only K Morning Show.
Good morning, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Morning, I'm righting man.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Social Queen Darlene, good morning, I'm producing micromos and we
are here right by your side, coming up.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
We got cash on coast for you. Also, Angel City
Football Club tickets. Every time someone scores for Angel City,
it is a big, big deal. And so when you
go to a game, expect nothing but constant adrenaline and fun.
And we're going to sund you and put you there
all right. Oh, happy birthday, genuine yeah, yeah, I like
(00:35):
this music.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Get on that pony.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Emerald Lagas, Lagas, Lagasi, Lagasi's Lagasi striking to my husband's
from New Orleans. We've been to all of Emeralds restaurants,
all right. Emerald Lagasi also and he explains to us
why he uh, why he came up with Bam.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Bam came about waking everybody up while we was shooting
eight television shows a day.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Come on, people, wake up here, let's go Bam bam damn.
And that's how bam came about. I thought it was
because the spices would wake up your mouth.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Bam because he would do it when he would throw
the spice. That's what he would do.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
He bam, and he was really just trying to wake
up his crew because they were filming a lot. Emerald Lagassi. Okay,
so the Dodgers, we're in Manhattan. They're waking up there.
It's going to go work out at the park there,
City Park. We have three and then we come back
here for a Sunday game. So Kershaw's coming back. He said,
why get all that surgery if I'm not going to
(01:37):
use it, which is really a smart thing to say.
And then yesterday right behind home plate there they were
the Smile people.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
What's up with this?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
And the T shirt and the day glow, the bright Neon. Well,
Smile is coming out again in theaters.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
But why are we using game two of the NLCS
to promote it.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
They did this last time for Smile, the first smile
he did, so they did it again. And the guy
there's a girl and guy if you saw there Neon
T shirts and they have those creepy smiles. And the
guy broke character when there was a foul ball hit.
He couldn't help himself.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Oh yeah, it's trust me, it's scary. It looks like
the ball's coming right at your face, So you are.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
But you know, the star of Smile Too is actually
the son of a very very famous A list actor.
He is Ray Nicholson, son of Jack What. So when
you see Ray Nicholson's smile, everyone's saying, oh my god,
it looks like Jack Nicholson in the shining because they're related.
So Ray Nicholson is the star of Smile Too. He
(02:42):
said his dad is an inspiration and a hero to
him smile.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh and can we talk about the snake?
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, where where did the guy come from? How's there
a snake in the dugout?
Speaker 1 (02:59):
What I think? I think that someone left their bag
out at home in the yard, or something grabbed their
or the ball boys with someone. Somehow a snake got
in a bag then got into the dugout. At first
I thought maybe someone from the Mets put it there,
but I really do think critters get into your bags. Look,
we go to football and baseball practice, we throw our
bags on the grass and things get We had a
(03:22):
mouse getting Calvin's football bag one time, and then the
mouse made it into the trunk. The mouse crawled out
of the bag into the wheel well, where said mouse died.
And then we couldn't figure out what died in our car.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Because then you kind of smell it before you see it.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yes, that's a lord driving around like trying to figure
out what's in what's in our car. And finally we
took it into the shop and they took the wheel
off and said, well, you have a mouse in there.
And then we realized the mouse got from the bag
to just like I think the snake.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
I want to know who brought the snake. Now we
need to fight out. There are cameras everywhere. We need
to fight out which dodger brought that snake in a bag.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
And then one of the bat boys just casually gets
a T shirt and fix it up. I'd be so
freaked out.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
And then there was a goose on the loose, A wild,
weird day in La.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
All right, let's get some passionate Good morning, Coast one
of three point five. Thank you for being up with
us first.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
Thing in the morning radio station.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Listen to you guys, wake me up and it's amazing.
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to wake up too.
Speaker 7 (04:31):
The LNK Morning Show on Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Alrighty joker, Folly I Do has lost one hundred and
fifty million dollars so far, cost two hundred to make
a bomb at the box office, and now, uh, you
know they're looking at big losses, might even lose the
entire nugget once saw all the marketing is done. What
about this? Two best buddies are we were to be
hosting the Oscars, that would be Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. Meanwhile,
(04:58):
Jackman and Kate Hudson have signed up to star in
the musical drama song Sung Blue, which tells the story
of a Neil Diamond tribute band. I felt so lucky
that I got to meet Neil Diamond at the Grammys,
and he was at rehearsal every day and he was
starting to he was starting to fall to his dementia,
but he would have these bright moments on stage. So
(05:20):
his wife would walk him up to the stage and
the band would start playing, and he knew exactly where
he was and what he was doing.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
It's cool how some of that stuff comes back to you.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
It was amazing. And then he would have these moments
during rehearsal I was talking to people where he was
just all there. So that was really, really beautiful.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Hey, one more question. I'm sorry to derail you. I
was off the grid really since last Friday. What's the
deal with Salamahayak and Nicole Kidman?
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Okay, So they were at this French Fashion Week thing.
They were taking pictures with Katy Perry and this was
two weeks ago that it happened. It looked like Nicole
Kidman pushed Salmahayak away, but now they've both spoken out.
There was no fight. It was that the crowd was
crushing them to take pictures with Katie Perrit got it.
So Nicole was actually kind of she did sort of
(06:12):
grab some Almah's arm and push her away, but it
was just to get her out of harm's way, actually, Okay.
And that they're friends and all that stuff, Yeah, you know,
that was all I saw. That this weren't global.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, that there was a beef, and I'm like, what happened? Okay?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
And Mariah Carey really really really loves the holidays. There's
one thing she doesn't like, and that's overhead lighting. I
can't with the overhead lighting.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
Oh why do they do it to us?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Why? And I shouldn't even say us because it's not
us it's me. I'm the one that gets the most
tortured by the.
Speaker 9 (06:43):
Hideous lighting in every elevator doorway.
Speaker 1 (06:49):

I hate somebody in Nigeria hundred bucks thinking they were
gonna ship a dog to me.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Oh, it happened to me about eight years ago too.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Doesn't let me live it down.
Speaker 5 (08:20):

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Yeah, trying to get a docs in which I hate
even saying out loud because we adopt and not shop.
Speaker 2 (08:26):

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Scam, you've been scammed?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
You ready to not fall for a scam?
Speaker 4 (08:39):
You know the one word, you guys, And this is
so important for everybody to know. If you get a text, call,
an email from somebody, the one word that indicates it's
a scam.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Well, what is it? Because my husband needs to know.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
This is the word kindly. Kind people will use it
and say, will you kindly?
Speaker 4 (08:55):
They say that that is a word used mainly by scammers.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
They like to put in the word kindly.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Listen, neighbors aren't very smart if they keep using the
same words.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
And they're not that nice. Real people are not that nice.
That's a good point. Give me the money.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Would you kindly give us another happiness?
Speaker 4 (09:13):
I would love to. So you know what your pots
and pans picture? You're all your pots and pans. I'm
sure at the end of the tip of the handle
there's a hole.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yes, there is a hole. Yeah, what's that hole for?
Speaker 11 (09:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
You know why?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Well, I hang it on a hook.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Okay, that's one use. Do you know the primary use
why it was put there to begin?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
No, I don't to.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Put your wooden spoon through the hole to hold it
while you're stirring your sauce.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Would you stop it?
Speaker 2 (09:40):

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Good morning, I'm Lank and Governor Gaven Newsome just sign
new legislation aimed at helping all of us California drivers
save money at the pump and prevent you wild spikes
in gas prices. It requires all state oil refiners to
maintain a minimum inventory of supply. That way, they can't
claim that they're battling a shortage and then they would
pass it on to us and gougeus. Kevin really doesn't
(10:13):
like big Oil.
Speaker 10 (10:14):
They've been manipulating you. They've been lying you, they've been
playing you over and over and over again. And every
single one of you, every single person reporting on this,
every single person in front of the camera, behind the camera,
you have been screwed by these companies.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Okay, now he's making a change. In legal news, Shan
Die Combs is being faced with more new lawsuits. There
were several filed yesterday with at least six additional people
accusing him of assault, two women and four men. And
all this Diddy disturbance. Kanye West has now also been
roped in A former assistant claims he did some unspeakable
things to one of these parties. So far, no word
(10:50):
back yet from Kanye or his team. And what about this? QBC,
known for their home shopping networks on TV and streaming,
has now signed a deal with USA Pickleball to bring
the sport to its platform. QBC has acquired the exclusive
broadcast rights of USA Pickleball and we'll be carrying the
twenty twenty four Bio Freeze USA Pickleball National Championships next

I did not. All right, we want to send it

A and Kasha on cost just add all right, but
first of all, congrats to Travis Geiner of Minnesota. He's

world record of the largest pumpkin last year twenty eight
and something pounds, and now he just won again for
(12:40):
the world's largest pumpkin. This is his fourth way Off
Championship title. His winning gord named Rudy.
Speaker 11 (12:49):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I love that it has a name.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Yeah, Rudy, you know that.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
I wonder if it's named We should ask him.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
He's about to dial in after Rudy the football player
because he was an underdog.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Really Rudy, Well, Rudy came into two thousand, four hundred
and seventy one pounds Keith Geicher, So this is happening.
It's been happening Bay every year. And wow, that's so
much pride.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
He's on twelve.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Okay, all right, Hey, Travis, congrats. We just want to
know how do you do it?
Speaker 11 (13:21):
A lot of work, one hundred and eighty four days
of nurturing to get it to that point.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
And I see you say that it could produce at
least six hundred and eighty seven pies.
Speaker 11 (13:32):
Yeah, we kind of did some masks. Some say it's
like four pounds of pumpkin propie, but some say it's
more like two. So then we produce a lot more.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Well, this is also in your family. Didn't your dad
do this originally?
Speaker 11 (13:46):
Yeah? Yeah, my family's a bunch of gardeners and I
teach horticulture, so it kind of goes with the turf.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
How soon into.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
The process do you look down and go, oh, yeah,
oh yeah, we got a winner.
Speaker 11 (13:57):
Good time it hits the scale.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Oh so you don't not that not that early?
Speaker 11 (14:03):
Yeah, you just never know. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Oh, I just wonder, like, have you found a special
food it likes or water or I mean it says
that you feed it twelve times a day.
Speaker 11 (14:14):
Yeah. Sometimes. Right now, the technology with the biology and
the soil is really kind of taken off, and I
really think that helps catapult it.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah for sure. Well, you definitely have the magic touch
and you just bring a lot of smiles to faces.
That's what I love is just that, you know, you
make everyone happy when we see your giant gorge, whether
they whether they're the biggest in the world or not,
they're huge.
Speaker 11 (14:39):
Yeah, right, well it is quite impressive at seven point
five wide, so it's it's pretty big.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Well you keep on growing those big things.
Speaker 11 (14:54):
So yeah, sold for twenty two.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
A famous man, Todd Graves of Raising Canes, bought that
world's largest pumpkin. So these things they're monsters. They're just
like fig me and then they just keep eating and
eating and eating and growing and growing. It's it's really,
it's really, it's like in the Amazon, you know, nothing
stops growing. So to be able to do that outside
(15:21):
of the al it's pretty cute.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Take our nose and ears too, they don't they don't
stop growing, you know that.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
I didn't know that. So they're growing right now.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Your nose right now is growing and I had no idea.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Yeah, they never stopped small, but they're not on a
pumpkin scale, but it's true.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
That's pretty cool. All right. Well, coming up, we're gonna
give your cash on coast. We're also sending you to
see usher keep it here to win.

little Ricky. Yeah, his name is Keith Thibodeau. So he's
from the same area of Louisiana that my husband is.
He's from Lafayette. I'm glad you knew how to say
his last name, Yeah, Thibodeaux's. It's not uncommon in Louisiana Thibodeau,
but I would never when you see it spelled, I
would never know how to say it unless my husband
(16:29):
taught me.
Speaker 7 (16:32):
In this La, not Louisiana, city of LA.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
It's very hard for us to pronounce that. So Keith
Thibodeau is a little Ricky. He's coming out with us.
It is also National Mushroom Day, so we are celebrating
that fun guy. I'm not a mushroom eater. You are
like one. I don't. I love mushrooms. Mike of our

of our team, Mike Grandmost drinks mushroom tea every day
and I've smelled it, I've seen it. I know people
drink it. It's supposed to have great benefits. But I
don't know what it is about mushrooms that repels me.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
You can't eat like a stuffed mushroom, like a mushroom pow.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
What it tastes the mushroom? What about grilled mushrooms? No, no,
I'm not going to do them. Oh no, no mushrooms.
In fact, there was like this veggie burger thing that
I was gonna eat, but it was actually a between
two portobello mushrooms. I'm like, why would you do that
to someone?
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Because it's delicious.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
And card free? All right, Well Mike is here. So, Mike,
you heard to talk about your mushroom tea. I just
made it. What does it taste like? It's great, it's delicious.
You take it from powder form powder form, yah, Lion's
main mushroom? Sure, and what does it taste or smell like?
It's it's just must.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
It's not like tea just regular you know, green tea.
Well it smells like dirt.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's tastes like to yeh sprouts Earth

Speaker 2 (18:46):

Speaker 1 (18:47):
No, But here's what's more than that.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
I think there are bigger violations.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
There are bigger but this goes under the violation code
and you don't think there's anything wrong with what do
you think it is? Eight hundred nine to nine KOSG.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
What's going down in Vegas this weekend?
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Man, I just to rest and relax.
Speaker 8 (21:13):
Sure, Kathy, that is a really same excuse. Oh I'm
going in Vegas to rest, she says, no one ever.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
All right, you caught me, but we're on the radio,
and I don't want anybody to find out.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
But what is your guest? Forty percent of us do
what when visiting a friend's.
Speaker 6 (21:36):
House, checking their bathroom cabinet, draws snoop through their crystal stuff.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
That is a very very common uh you know, violation.
It is not the right answer. Oh yeah, close, but
not quite.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
Okay, thank you all.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I have a great day. Happen in Vegas. Let's go
to Luis and Santa Anna.
Speaker 11 (21:59):
Hi, Luise, Hi, morning, guys, talks everyone.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
We're good. How are you good?
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Thank you?
Speaker 11 (22:05):
Getting ready for work?
Speaker 1 (22:06):
All right, Louise, what is your guest? We still have
the right answer. Forty percent of us do what when
visiting a friend's house.
Speaker 11 (22:14):
My guess is looking through their fridge.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Looking through the fridge, crack it open, take a look,
maybe help yourself. You are right, that's it. You're right,
You're going after it is snoop the fridge.
Speaker 6 (22:29):
Nice, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Do you consider that a violation?
Speaker 1 (22:33):
I mean, yeah, I do. I kind of do. I
feel like because I okay, So when I have friends over,
I say help yourself to whatever you want to drink
in the fridge. I'll say that. But if they're just
like coming and knowing the fridge, I would feel like, oh,
it's kind of forward in a way. By the way
you have a nice fridge. It's very organized. Thank you
(22:54):
as you do, you do because I've snooped through.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
It is Jeremy Renner.
Speaker 9 (23:00):
This is Kate Hudson, this is Joe Coy and I'm
chilling with my whole girl.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Ellen K Morning Show, ellen K.
Speaker 2 (23:06):

Speaker 1 (23:08):
I love you so much, La, top story, top of

work out at City Field before tomorrow's pivotal Game three
of the NLCS. See Wednesday, Thursday Friday games happening on
the East Coast style tied one apiece. It'll be a
five to eight local time start for us watching and
(23:29):
listening in l A one bright nugget from yesterday was
Dodgers a long time as Clayton Kershaw announcing that he
will return next year.
Speaker 13 (23:36):
My arm feels great. Obviously, I had some tough luck
with my foot this year, but you know, I want
to make use of the surgery. You know, I don't
want to have surgery and then shut it down. So
you know I'm gonna come back next year and give
it a go. And you know see how it goes.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah, we're excited for you. And shout out to Ellen Kershaw.
She's my sister. Ellen k all right. The Clippers winning
their first preseason game into a dome least, shout out
to DJ Dents, the official Clipper DJ. He was there.
He said it was emotional, it was beautiful, and congratulations
Clippers on your new, beautiful, forever home. And if you're
already starting to think about Thanksgiving, pay attention to the
(24:13):
prices of turkey and ham. A new report says on
average costs of both, we'll push six percent higher than
last year and rise the closer that we get. And
speaking of the holiday, psychologists say people who put up
their Christmas decor early are happier people on all fronts
of life. We have a cloudy morning, should see sunshine
lately later on today, Hi's around seventy five. Then tomorrow Thursday,
(24:35):
both bringing a chance at drizzle. North Hollywood. Know how
we get to seventy five today? East Pale seventy five
as well. It's sixty five in Burbank. We run on
Celsius energy drinks Kost Los Angeles. It's coast one of
three point five more cash on Coast Plus. It's a
talkback Tuesday. Talk that to us on your iHeart app.
Speaker 7 (24:55):
It's the Ellen k Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (24:56):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to wake up.
Speaker 7 (24:59):
To Hot one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
And Travis Kelce spotted cuddling up to Taylor Swift Eagle
and eyed fans are crying as Taylor is wearing an
engagement ring.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Just got this, guys, No, I just looked at it.
It's a small, it's a tiny it's not.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
An engagements on the finger.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
That can't be an engaged. That room was so dark too,
are we sure?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yeah, they circled it.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
She's wearing a ring on her.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Engagement ring finger, Yes she is.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
I see the ring, but that's not an Again, there's
no way that Travis Kelce gave her that tiny, little
gold little ring.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Size does not matter. Okay, okay, well I don't know.
I say they're engaged. They could be anyway. That just
popped up just as the song was ending, and where
they only k warning show its Coast one to three
point five and coming up. We are you to send
(26:00):
you to Trans Siberian Orchestra. I get you in the
holiday mood and more cash on Coast. But today is
I Love Lucy Day? Yay? It was on the day
seventy three years ago. In nineteen fifty one, the iconic
legendary show I Love Lucy premiered on CBS. We watch
it in reruns. It's kind of like the Seinfeld of
(26:21):
that generation, you know, like we always get those iconic
shows that that we watched through generations. You know, my
mother watched it, I watched it. I still watch it,
still watch it.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
And yes, you know, what we've learned ellen about Darlene
over the years is that there is no situation that
can arise that she can't tie back to Lucy.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
It's about life. Yeah, Lucy is life. And welcome little
Ricky Keith Tippodeaux. Keith, my gosh, you are so amazing
to take time out of your busy schedule and I
love Lucy Day as Little Ricky. You must have so
many great memories from the set.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Well, it was a great show, and I got great
memories and I grew up so to speak, on the show.
And then just the relationship with Lucy and DESI was
always a constant during that time until I left when
I was fifteen.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
In night Oh my gosh, we're talking to Keith Thibodeaux.
He is Little Ricky. You're the last living, regular appearing
cast member from I Love Lucy. So thank you for
keeping the legacy going.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Oh yeah, well I'm embracing it now that I'm older.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
So you're from Lafayette, Louisiana. I'm from Lafayette, Indiana, and
my husband grew up in Metteri, So I recognize your accent.
Speaker 5 (27:46):
Very cool, very cool. Yeah, it's a Lafayette down in
Louisiana and there's a Lafayette in Indiana.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, that's right. I was telling the team here about
Lafayette and his conquests when he went up the Mississippi River.
He really loved women, and that's why so many things
are named after him because back in the day he
was he was planting his seeds.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Well, we don't know if we're all related to him
in some way that grew up.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Can you talk to us about the set of of
I Love Lucy.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
We've heard so many just stories.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Some of them may be tall tales, like what was
your experience like on that set?
Speaker 5 (28:36):
You know it was it was like you see on
them on on the television it was.
Speaker 11 (28:41):
It was it was just.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
An amazing set. I mean, it was a little amazing
energy and and and you know, Lucy and DESSI had
a lot of passion, They had a lot of uh
they had a lot bought into the show. And uh,
you know, we had a bunch of people who worked
for for the Ala Lucy Show that that's jobs depended
(29:03):
on the success of the show. And so you know,
filming in front of a live audience, having the orchestra,
the the you know, does Arn's Orchestra on that on
that that stage right there, It just all was just
so much of an energy when you walked on that set.
It was it was not a boring set, Let's put
(29:24):
it that way.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
They don't make them like that anymore.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
No again, no, yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Well did you continue acting or did you go the
music route after the show?
Speaker 5 (29:35):
Well, right after the Alablucy Show ended because of Lucy
and Deasy's divorced I did some guest shows like Route
sixty six Bill Dana Hazel Farmer's daughter, and then I
got a part, uh semi regular part, small part on
The Andy Grim Show. Played Johnny Paul was Ron Howard's
(29:59):
best friend. I love it so I thought about thirteen
episodes of that Andy grive The show.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Do you still play the drums?
Speaker 5 (30:07):
Still love love both shows?
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah, do you still play the drums?
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Yeah, And that's my main thing that I started out
with before the Ala Lucy Show, and it's something that
I've continued to do up to this day. My band
David and the Giants Christian rock band, where we just
finished putting down some tracks for our new album. We
do festivals, we do concerts here and there, and yeah,
(30:34):
still stay active doing drums.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Does it ever get old seeing Little Ricky Little U
on TV?
Speaker 5 (30:43):
No, it's actually about my wife and I actually, uh,
you know, it's funny because I appreciate the shows more
than I did of course when I was on them,
because you know, people didn't really have anything to compare
these shows by, so it was it's something that we
and enjoy. I enjoyed Andy Grivis Show. I enjoyed you know,
(31:03):
old old movies, you know, forties fifty movies. You know,
I think that's the heyday and golden day of Hollywood.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
You know, well, you've had a lot of great experiences.
Keith Thibodeau, Little Ricky, It's I love Lucy Day and
we love you. Thank you so much for coming on
with us.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
Well God bless you guys, and have a great day
in sunny California.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
How could we not? I just want that music theme
song here, I say love. I love it when Ricky
would come home, So.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Home.
Speaker 12 (31:42):

Speaker 1 (34:08):
You speak positivity, you're full of joy and happiness, and
in this world it's pretty hard.
Speaker 10 (34:13):
To be that.
Speaker 7 (34:14):
Week post one oh three point five, the.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Top story is top of the hour, Good Morning of
Ellen K. Governor Gavin Newsom sign a new legislation to
prevent wild spikes and gas prices aimed at helping all
of us save money at the pump, requiring all street
oil refiners to maintain a minimum inventory of supply. That
way we know what they have and they can't claim
they're battling a shortage. Gavin does not like big Oil.
Speaker 10 (34:37):
They've been manipulating you. They've been lying you, they've been
playing you over and over and over again. Every single
one of you, every single person reporting on this, every
single person in front of the camera, behind the camera,
you have been screwed by these companies.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Oh wow, Dodgers waking up in Manhattan heading to Queens.
It's their workout at Cityfield. Tomorrow's pivotal game three of
the NLCS. We have Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on the East
Coast and we come back home Sunday, so for tomorrow's
game five. Oh wait, local times start for us watching
and listening here in La Kershaw is coming back next season.
He made that big announcement and also show hey Otani,
(35:14):
we'll have the first home in a new luxury community
called the Vista in Maui. So he's building a huge
mansion in Hawaii, the Monacaia Resort. According to multiple reports,
he was a photographed holding blueprints and it was fifteen
years ago on this day, the balloon Boy hoax took
over the country when Richard and Miomi Heen claimed their
six year old son, Falcon, was trapped in a balloon
(35:37):
seven thousand feet above the ground. The parents were pardoned
by Colorado legislator and the balloon Boy now is twenty
years old and he has a new non balloon love
interest and that is music. Alongside his brothers Brad and Rio,
they have a trio heavy metal band. It's called the
Heen Boys, and they did record a song called balloon Boy,
(35:57):
No Hoax. And we like to end every newscast on
something positive. A dog in Florida who went viral last
week after he was found tied to a fence by
his owners who are fleeing Hurricane Milton is now in
foster care doing super well. He was found and rescued
by a state trooper. He's been placed with the Foster
family home, giving lots and lots of love, and they
gave him a new name. His name is Trooper, and
(36:18):
he's up for adoption and everybody loves him. He's getting
tons of love, all right. It is a lot of
clouds today and tomorrow and Thursday may bring a chance
at drizzle. Right now sixty five in Burbank, It's KOST
Los Angeles. Coast won a three point five. We run

and we think it's really important that we read it
to you. Okay, Dear Ellen k Morning Show, I nominate
mister Keene for my fall favorite. He is a fourth
and fifth grade combo teacher. I have a fourth and
(38:08):
fifth grader in his class. He's one of the hardest
working teachers we've ever had. He empowers his students to
be excellent in so many ways. During school fundraisers, he
fundraises alongside the kids. His classroom is so fun for
the students not traditional at all. He uses his own
money to buy furniture for the class and school supplies
for all his fun projects. He helped my super introverted,
(38:31):
shy daughter come out of her shell. She is now
the school VP. Mister Keene, way to go. You are
so appreciated and so loved. That is so awesome.
Speaker 11 (38:43):
I love it. That just gave me chills.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
It gave us chills too. And we have something for
you because of this letter. We're giving you five hundred
dollars cash. What yeah, way, yeah, five hundred dollars cash.
Speaker 11 (39:00):
Oh my gosh, that is so awesome.

Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Well, you're awesome. You deserve it. We hope that you.
We know you love to pound on your students, but
do something for yourself as well. You're a selfless, giving guy.
By this five hundred dollars cash just to spend however
you like. Oh my god, I'm so thrown.
Speaker 11 (39:19):
That is so cool. Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (39:21):

Blessed to have you as our teacher.
Speaker 11 (40:10):
Oh, thank you so much. That means the most to me.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
We knew that even with cash and a gift card,
that the thing that would mean the most to you,
to your heart is just a grateful parent and kids
who are excelling.
Speaker 9 (40:22):
It is it is.
Speaker 11 (40:24):
I would like a copy of that letter.
Speaker 5 (40:25):

Speaker 1 (41:27):
We had every show with a quote and a kiss.
So there's this philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, and back in eighteen
eighty eight, you know what he said. What he said,
what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. He was like
one of the original influencers before TikTok and Instagram, so.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
He was like making memes and doing fresh quotes.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
Did Kelly Clarkson know and then she made this and
can't care.
Speaker 9 (42:02):
I mean, thank you, Friedrich, kiss on three, kiss on
me one two three, Ah, it's the LL.
Speaker 7 (42:13):
