The DA pledged to review the Menendez case in light

Eric describing the abuse he endured by his parents, both

All right, I give everybody a copy of Carolina's letter
(17:02):
so you can all follow along. Dear Ellen, My husband,
Gabe and I have been together eight years and married
four five. Gabe's doctor advised him to get a handle
on his eating in health, especially as he's heading into
his fifties and his family history of heart disease. Gabe
has taken his health seriously, and I've been his biggest cheerleader.
All good, Right, Well, it turns out I might have
(17:24):
meant underestimated how much this would really change things. And
don't get me wrong, I'm beyond proud of Gabe. But
who is this man who looks like He's walked out
of a GQ magazine spread. He's been eating healthier, hitting
the gym consistently. I can see how much it's boosting
his confidence. It's not just the physical transformation. He's radiating
a whole new energy, and it's really hard to miss.
(17:48):
He's looking so good these days. I can't help but
feel jealous. And it's the way women respond to him.
I can see it and feel it. I'm scared that
the guy I married, who, let's be honest, wasn't always
in the best shape, is now going to have options.
I never thought i'd have to worry about. Am I
silly to be worried? Sending lots of love thanks for
reading my letter, Carolina. So Gabe did a glow up
(18:11):
at his doctor's urging, and now Carolina is having insecure feelings.
So she's jealous and she feels like he's going to stray.
I understand that. I can see that. I mean, maybe
he's really getting high on all the attention too, Like
(18:34):
women who wouldn't notice him before are now like noticing him,
maybe even flirting.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Okay, right, come on, but you're a guy. But doesn't
that then empower Carolina?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Like look, at my man, isn't he special?
Speaker 3 (18:51):
But doesn't that also encourage her to step it up,
to go harder for her?
Speaker 2 (18:56):
For her Like, look, I like do her own glow
up a little bit?
Speaker 3 (19:00):
I mean, look, I think we've all been with people,
Maybe not all, but some of us have been with
people that don't quite match our fire, our energy, our flame,
our drive. Okay, you can't Gabe can't stay stagnant because
she's not willing to match him.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Oh, I see right, But she's jealous and he's getting
so much. So what she's supposed to go out and
and get a super hot body?
Speaker 2 (19:23):
And why not?
Speaker 11 (19:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
I mean, she don't have to get a super hot body,
but she can go you know what, you're.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Pushing me to be my best man? This is great?
Look at you?
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Right?
Speaker 2 (19:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
I like this line.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
I don't like the blame. I don't like this idea
of that.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
She needs to I feel like she needs work on herself.
Like she should be happy for him. Yes, well she said.
Don't get me wrong, I'm beyond proud of him. But
who is this man who looks like he's walked out
of a GQ magazine?
Speaker 5 (19:50):
Ellen?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Ellen, she is jealous. She said she's jealous. Okay, listen,
you just said that word. But you go. I'm being
proud of him. But but there shouldn't be a butt Okay, right,
but you need to go to therapy girl. But what
should she do?
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Eight hundred and nine two nine.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
Kost more Feel Good is coming up on the Ellen

Speaker 2 (20:17):

Speaker 1 (20:20):
What a perfect song by Carrie Underwood for our letters
to Ellen.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two she is.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
Ellen.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
All right, We've got a letter from Carolina. It's about
her husband, Gabe, and really that song could be the
theme song of this letter Before He Cheats because Carolina
is feeling like her husband might cheat on her. Dear Ellen,
my husband, Gabe and I've been together eight years, married
for five. Gave's doctor advised him to get a handle
on his eating in health, especially as he's heading into
(20:51):
his fifties and his family history of heart disease. Gabe
has taken his health seriously. I'm his biggest cheerleader. It
turns out I might have underestimated how much this would
really change things. I'm beyond proud of him, But who
was this man who looks like he's walked out of
a GQ magazine spread. He's been eating healthy, hitting the gym,
and I can see how much is boosting his confidence.
(21:13):
It's not just physical, He's radiating a whole new energy
that is impossible to miss. So this guy literally listened
to his doctor and he's the best version of himself,
looks health and an inner glow. I'm hearing he's looking
so good these days. I can't help but feel jealous.
(21:34):
And it's the way women respond to him. I see it,
I feel it. I'm worried he's gonna have options. I
never thought i'd have to worry about.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
She says the word butt four times in this letter.
I just count you every one of them. Every positive
is followed.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
With a butt.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
H Carolina says, sending you lots of love. Thanks for
reading my letter. All right, so gave his guy going
on and Carolina is worried he's gonna cheat. Thank you
so much for all your calls. I try to get
to all of them. At eight hundred and ninety two
nine KOs too. Let's go to Maria, how are you feeling?
Speaker 11 (22:10):
I agree with Ryan. I totally agree with Ryan and Darlene,
she should start working on herself. I mean, we don't
know what she looks like, so maybe she should ask
them and say, I want to go to the gym
with you? Can I accompany you? Can I you know,
try to do things along with you, same things that
you like and stuff, and maybe starting to get getting
more confident on herself as well.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
You know, that's very true. She sees the confidence that
Gabe has gained by being his best self, and she
even said he's radiating a whole new energy that's hard
to miss. So so yeah, absolutely I agree with Ryan
and darr and you that if she wants that radiance
and to catch up with Gabe, do it together. How
fun would that be? And then she's supporting him. He
(22:54):
can support her instead of writing a letter to Ellen
about jealousy, right right.
Speaker 11 (23:00):
And I can tell you because I myself go to
the gym and once you get to a certain point, yes,
you do gain the confidence. You do gain that. Oh
I'm still good.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
I feel great.
Speaker 11 (23:09):
I can go and sit in any type of clothes
I want. Basically I don't have to worry about oh
my gosh, this isn't it.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I kept it on that, Yeah, on the flip side, though, say,
I do agree with Ellen to some degree that if
she's not willing to do it, I get why she's
now jealous.
Speaker 11 (23:24):
Yeah exactly, yes, exactly.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
His v shape has driven a wedge between them.
Speaker 11 (23:31):
Right, exactly exactly.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
All right, Well, thanks Maria, we have a whole like
the phones are exploding right now. We're gonna move on
to Jen and Corona.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
Hi.
Speaker 7 (23:40):
Jen, Hi, how you guys doing.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Hey, we're doing good. How about you?
Speaker 8 (23:45):
I'm doing fine.
Speaker 10 (23:47):
I think, to be honest with you, she should step
up her game, only simply because if she does it,
she's gonna lose him, but not only that, she's gonna
win to find that all over again. And if he's
on that house, tim, keep them there and go with it,
because it's very hard to find a partner like.
Speaker 7 (24:08):
That to do that.
Speaker 10 (24:09):
That's great, Honestly, you guys will live longer that way,
and you'll be happier that way. And guess what, they
want her as much as they're gonna want him.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
The way she closed her letter is really it's really sad.
I'm scared the guy I'm married, who, let's be honest,
wasn't always in the best shape is now going to
have options. I never thought i'd have to worry about.
Speaker 10 (24:31):
Yeah, well, if he doesn't have her, he's gonna lose
his game anyways, because she's the one that put the
game in place for him, so she should do what
she did for him for herself.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
All right, game on, Thank you so much. Jen.
Speaker 10 (24:45):
Okay, you guys have a great day. God bless be safe.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
All right you too? Eight hundred and nine two nine
kost Have you ever even been in the situation or
on the other side of it. Maybe you are a
gabe and you're dealing with the jealous wife or girlfriend.
I give us a call find your.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
Feel good here on the L and K Morning Show
Coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Coast three point five. Thanks for all your calls. Carolina
sent us a letter down and we read him every Wednesday.
Her husband, Gabe been together eight years, married for five,
has taken his health seriously and that's a great thing,
and she's all for it. But he is now turning
the heads of ladies and she's worried that. You know,
(25:29):
I love the attention a little too much, so that
right there shows a lack of trust. Carolina said, am
I silly for worrying about this. His energy is undeniable
and he looks like he's right out of GQ magazine.
So it's all about helping Carolina still get jealous, which.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Is a good thing, you know.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
That's what when Nick Jonas saying the song, it was
about how like you are everything to me and I
still get jealous Like that keeps us strong.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
It's somewhat of like a I think, a healthy jealousy.
They are multiple fasts and jealousy.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
All right, let's get to esther. Esther, what do you say?
Speaker 8 (26:16):
So? I think that when you marry somebody, it's what
kind of a person they are. It's in the heart, Like,
it's not all about looks or physical because at the
end of the day, how's that person going to treat you?
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Very true? That's right.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
So if she treats him good and she's good with him, yeah,
you have to look good, but it's all about your
you know, how you act, how you present yourself. Yeah,
and I'm sure she's beautiful. You know, if she's not
in looks, she's beautiful inside. Because he married her, they've
been together eight years.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
I just feel that she's you know, she's just nervous
and worried, and let's turn that energy into coming together,
not running away or going.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
To turn it positive.
Speaker 8 (27:00):
Yeah, turn it positive, like feel good about herself. There's
a lot of women I see that are big and
you should see they walk froud and their husbands are
good looking, and I'm like, why is that guy? And
then I'm thinking to myself, Wait a minute, Esther, you
know why they're together. They love each other. There's love there.
It's not about how they look.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
There, you go preach, Esther, You are so right.
Speaker 8 (27:20):
And I'm still waiting for you guys to come give
Valentino's Pizza in Lakewood.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Wait what wait, Okay, the invitation has been put out there.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
There.
Speaker 8 (27:32):
Yeah, we're the original Valentinos and we just took over
this place that was my brothers and we'd love to
have you guys for lunch.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Esther, congratulations and thank you for the offer.
Speaker 8 (27:43):
Thank you all right, Thank you guys.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Take care.
Speaker 8 (27:47):
I love you guys. I hear you every morning.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
One of three. Quite fine. We love making these calls.
It's your fall favorite. Who's someone who's impacted you? An administrator,
a cafeteria worker, a teacher. He love to give him
five hundred dollars cash and a gift card to Burke Williams.
I have to do is nominate someone Coast one of
three five dot com slash favorite. All Right, we're getting
(28:14):

he's locked in. He's one second, mister Tran.
Speaker 3 (28:24):

the front desk the switchboard, but he is here.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Okay, mister Tran, Hello, it's Ellen.
Speaker 9 (28:34):
Kay.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
I'm Coast one of three point five. You know you're
between classes, so thanks for taking our call. And we've
got a letter about you and we would love to
share it.
Speaker 9 (28:45):
Okay, No, I know, I would like to hear it.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Okay, Dear Ellen K Morning Show, I would like to
nominate mister Tran as my fall favorite. He is really cool.
According to my thirteen year old daughter, mister Tran really
motivates the kids by giving the kids Tran dollars, which
allows them to bid for school supplies, shoes, laptops, iPads,
(29:07):
and so much more. Mister Tran listens to the kids
and he always has a positive attitude. He's a great
role model and a fun history teacher, which is super rare.
Please consider mister Tran as he continues to motivate and
support the kids out of care and with his own money,
he deserves some good karma and recognition. How beautiful is that?
Speaker 8 (29:28):
How cool is that?
Speaker 9 (29:29):
I never knew? Do you know who the students or
the parents are?
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Well, before I get to that, because of this letter,
we are giving you five hundred dollars cash to spend
any way you like.
Speaker 9 (29:41):
No, way, yeah, yes, way, that's so cool. Oh my,
I'm in my day.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
You also get a two hundred and fifty dollars gift
card to Burke Williams to use our.
Speaker 9 (29:54):
Oh my gosh, my wife would love that.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
Oh see, he's a giver. He's just giving it a
what's what's your wife's name?
Speaker 9 (30:02):
Asaco as a koh.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Asaco And mister what's your first name? Tony? All right,
mister Tony Tran here from Robert E. Pierry in middle
school in Guardina. Well, we know that the cash is
nice and the gift card is cool, but you're gonna
like what we're giving you next, the most.
Speaker 9 (30:20):
Of all, Oh my gosh, the more.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Yeah, there's more. The person who wrote the letter, her
name is Blanca. Blanca say hi to mister Tran.
Speaker 9 (30:28):
Hi, how are you.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
I'm so glad that you were picked.
Speaker 11 (30:32):
You really motivate Daniella and all the kids in her class.
And when I saw this, I thought about you instantly,
so I'm so happy that you got Well.
Speaker 9 (30:41):
I'm very grateful. I mean, this is a great profession.
I just love these kids so much. You know, they're
just really, really great kids. And you know, I'm just
blessed to be in front of them trying to share
what I know for them. So they're just really good
kids and it makes my job a lot, a lot
of fun. Yeah, well, thank you so much. I mean,
(31:04):
I really appreciate this is a great surprise. Honestly, I
never win anything, never.
Speaker 6 (31:12):
A lot of.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Well you lead with your heart every day, so we're
happy that we could give you something in some recognition.
