Speaker 1 (00:00):
Happy Friday Eve. We're the L and K Morning Show.
I'm Mallet.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hey, I'm Ryan Manna, I'm Social Queen Darlene.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Yeah no, I just when you said Friday Eve, I'm
like this week flew by. Yesterday was my son's fifteenth birthday.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
I believe he is fifteen.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
I know I told him this, I said when I
was turning fifteen. I remember it was the year two thousand.
My grandma did not think that the world would continue
because of Y two k oh. She was a firm believer.
And I always, because you know, you look up to
your grandparents, you believe what they say.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
And I stayed up.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Till midnight when I was fourteen, until I turned fifteen
to make sure like.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
That the world would continue. Guess what I get to live?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah, And I said, we have such different lives, babe,
here just giving you Nike socks and stuff. And I
was thinking, like, I'm not going to be alive after
yeah midnight.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Oh my gosh, I remember fourteen going on fifteen. I
had the biggest crush on God, I can't even remember.
Oh Andy Burns, Oh my god, and the Burns brothers
and they all lived down the street and I remember
Andy kind of was like low key, kind of maybe
would take me to the dance or whatever, and he
(01:17):
ended up taking me to the dance. It was our
first and last date. Oh I'll tell you why. Because
his mother, her best friend's daughter, who went to a
different school, had eyes on Andy and she really wanted
them to date, and they ended up dating and getting married.
No way, no way, Yes, yes, mommy's boy for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
Were you so like, okay, so obviously the mom orchestrated
that relationship. Were you disappointed when it didn't work out
or were you kind of like, Okay, this isn't going
to go.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I was kind of okay because you know what, Andy
just he just wasn't fun. Oh he wasn't. Yeah, like
he was cute, but no fun. And when he walked.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
Okay, I think I just had to bleep that.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
You can tell those words, just.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Not in that order.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
More feel good is coming up on the l and
K Morning Show. Coast one o three point five.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
It's the llen K Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (02:23):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to wake up to.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
That's right, it sure is. It's Coast one of three
point five Top Stories, Top of the Hour, Good Morning
of Ellen k One day away from the start of
the world series Dodgers Yankees, a historic cross country series
being touted as Hollywood versus Broadway, Freeway versus Subway, o
Tani versus Judge. Five. Oh wait, first pitch on Fox
and the free iHeartRadio app. As always, your keyword is
(02:50):
AM five seventy LA Sports Yankees landing in Burbank just
last night. And this is a storied rivalry, one that
hasn't made the Fall Classic since nineteen eighty one. The
last time we faced off, Ronald Reagan was president. A
new home in La cost about seventy seven thousand dollars
and the number one song on coast was Endless Love
by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross. And we are also
(03:13):
hearing that there will be Friday night and probably throughout
the series of our home games a Fernando tribute, so
we'll be giving you more details on that. Hey. One
of the key concerns for the entire cities tomorrow's terrible traffic.
We have a major event at nearly every LA venue,
so it's gonna be a maga mess and getting in
and out of Dodger Stadium is going to be tough.
One hack kind of gaining traction online is a one
(03:36):
point two mile downhill walk from the ravine to a
Lines Chinatown station just one stop from Union Station. Fans
have been testing it out. Mostay can be done in
twenty minutes, which will be way quicker than trying to
catch an uber or even getting out of the lot.
And holy moly, let's talk about these ticket prices. Not
only is the most expensive World Series ever, ever, the
average cost is now more than double last year's price.
(03:57):
The average upper deck seat going for about thirteen hundred dollars,
but compare that to the Super Bowl, where we were
paying eighty six hundred dollars for a ticket. And tributes
continue pouring in this morning for Fernando Valenzuelo. The latest
comes from fellow franchise icon himI Hareen. Hareen was El
Toro's longtime Spanish language broadcast partner. He knows Fernando will
(04:19):
be inside that stadium tomorrow night.
Speaker 8 (04:21):
It's going to be very, very unique, very especial because
I am sure that Fernando's presence will be there. Fernandos
will be there, and now I wish I could have
a connage.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Oh so do we? Iimy all right? And will it
be Freedom Friday for the Menandez brothers Leda. George Gascons
has a decision on their case. What will happen by
the end of the week, so that would be today
or tomorrow and a little light morning fog clearing for
full sun. Highs in the mid eighties. Game time temp tomorrow,
Dodger Stadium, seventy five first pitch, Van Nuys and Victorville.
You see eighty five for your highs and right now
(04:59):
it is sixty in Burbank. We run on Celsius Energy
drinks KOST Los Angeles. It's Coast one of three point five.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
It's the Lank Morning Show. You guys are great to
listen to, Great Energy. Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, traffics, So be prepared for tomorrow. And I everything
is happening everywhere all at once. This is like that
movie everything everywhere, all at once, one day till the
World Series. Dodgers Yankees. Yankees landed in Burbank last night,
which I found to be an interesting airport to land
(05:35):
from New York. But they did, and then they got
in buses so whatever you do, don't find out where
they're staying and cause disruptive loud coast music.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
No, it's bad sportsmanship.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
And what does Mariah Carey say about the Yankees and
the Dodgers. You'll find out coming up.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
So where do we think the Yanks might be saying?
I'm not saying that to blast music, but let's let's
talk curious. So what's your where would you guess?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I'm guessing Hollywood or Pasadena?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Okay, I feel like Pasadena is a calm space.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, And just because my husband and his family, they
are crazy Steeler fans. So when it comes to the NFL,
we have known a couple of people to follow teams, okay,
from from where they're arriving, when they arrived to Sofi,
and so whenever there's a one pm game at SOFI,
we've noticed that the teams arrive at nine am by bus.
(06:36):
We've seen the Raiders do it, We've seen the Steelers
do it, and recently another team. So I'm curious. Do
they stay close to the venue.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Or like off the beaten papers, or do.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
All the professional teams stay somewhere And it's a secret.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Close to the venue could be downtown LA could be
what's that big?
Speaker 2 (06:52):
When they're that big the.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Bon Aventure Ritz just called it the Bone event the
bon Aventure. Maybe they're there, but look, they landed in
the dark, but someone saw those buses coming up. And
you can stay anonymous. Let us know where the Yankees
are staying if you are working at said hotel, and
then you don't have to say your name. Just call
(07:17):
us a OSG. All right, you can trust us they're here. Okay,
we have a seven days till Halloween and Nick Pouliochini's
birthday big parties this weekend. I'm going to go to
a costume party on Saturday, Ryan, I know you are.
You are going out on Saturday dressing up?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Well, I'm I'm sort of dressing up. My friend Julianne
is going as a crow, and she changed our costume.
We were both going to be Hooters girls.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Oh she changed it, and so.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
I don't have enough time to get the crow costume.
So I just got a shirt that says pretend I'm
a crow.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I wish you were going I want you to be
a Hooter girl.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I could still do it.
Speaker 9 (08:00):
I have it.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Okay, that would just be so fun to see on
social media. Okay at Ryan Mano appreciate that. And then Darline,
I brought you a big trick or treat bag. Are
you going to go trunk or treating or trick or
treating with the kids? We are. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
The Down Syndrome Associations putting a cute one on Saturday,
so we're gonna do that. And then of course my
husband always has to do a haunted house. Okay, so
we'll be setting up for that. It's a lot of work.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
We also have four Thursday until Thanksgiving, eight weeks until Christmas.
The Queen of Christmas coming up? Who's she picking for
the world series? All right? We are a ghost one
of three point This is seven.

my day.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Post one oh three point five, post one o three
point five Inside Entertainment with Ellen K.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Liam Paigne's body has not left Argentina and already there's
a documentary special streaming at Hulu. ABC News produced one
direction Liam Payne's final days. It's described as an examination
of how the thirty one year old's brilliant star faded
so dramatically. It's available beginning today. ABC News correspondents that
provide the latest updates on the investigation into Liam's tumble
(09:29):
from a third floor hotel balcony, as well as who
may have provided the drug cocktail dubbed pink cocaine. There
now as we speak, investigating some of the hotel workers
to see how those drugs got to his room. The
program features archival interviews from One Direction members dating back
to their formation on The X Factor. Also, Zane Malik
has postponed his tour from this year to next January
(09:52):
and February twenty twenty five. So it's a thirty four
minute Hulu special streaming now, all right. Also, Ariana Grande
had a private screening for Kim Kardashian of Wicked, So
she and her co star Cynthia Rivo brought a copy
of the two hour and forty minute film to Kim
and then they kind of hung out a little bit,
(10:13):
and I wonder if they talked about Pete Davidson. Remember
they both shared him as a boyfriend. Yeah, so Ariana
was at Kim's house. Boy, it seems like so long ago.
And this is sad. A passenger fell overboard on a
Taylor Swift themed Cruz, sixty six year old woman. They
say that she jumped seventeen miles north of NASA the Bahamas,
(10:35):
and the investigation is ongoing. She has not been found.
All right, World Series one more Day, Dodgers, Yankees? Mariah
Carey with us, and I had to ask, oh, oh,
and Mariah, you know it is, as you know, World
Series fever. So is it Yankees or Dodgers for you?
Speaker 10 (10:54):
Oh my goodness, I don't. I'm not about that. I
don't know how to explain it. Yeah, I'm just I
can't pick one and then everybody else is mad at me.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
For that team. No, that's true. I mean, you know,
unless you're married to one of them, or you know,
like one of them is your brother or something you
shouldn't probably exactly.

Speaker 11 (11:52):
No, there's going to be a lot of excitement though.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Well, we have an anonymous color who wants to tell
us where they are staying. They landed last night.
Speaker 11 (12:02):
Wow, they things.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Well, we're about to go to our our caller. We

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Well, you know, I sometimes you know, I'm just gonna
be honest.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
It's you know, some work to find a new hack
every day. So when someone like Lynette comes in. I said, okay, Lynette,
that's all you girl.
Speaker 12 (12:49):
I got a really cool hat for you guys for
the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, okay, we're all ears.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
All right.
Speaker 12 (12:56):
So you know how on the shower do you have
the drain that covered that supposally holds all the hair?
Speaker 11 (13:01):
Yep, Well, I don't know how.
Speaker 12 (13:03):
Many of them. I buy the sticky ones, the covered
ones whose trap on the hair. It ever worked. So
what I did was I went and bought the material
they used for the screens of the windows, and I
cut it to the shape of the drain, and I
popped the drain cover up and I wrapped it around
and popped it back in. And that has lasted for
like a year and a half and I haven't had
(13:25):
to replace it.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
That's amazing.
Speaker 12 (13:29):
Yeah, all the hair, everything you can think of it traps.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, that's so cool.
Speaker 12 (13:38):
And it's it's like a roll of like six dollars
for the whole thing. And now it's gonna last me.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
I don't know for how long, but it's all good.
Speaker 12 (13:46):
I thought i'd share that act.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Thanks Lynette, have a beautiful day.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Yeah, you got to my morning Coast one oh three
point five.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
All right, Well, we are trying to find out where
the Yankees are staying. They are here. They landed at
Burbank Airport last night. Whatever you do, don't go find
their hotel and then make noise like coast really loud
wake them up? Anonymous? Do you know where the Yankees
are staying?
Speaker 11 (14:24):
No, but I stayed at the Langham. And that's where.
Speaker 10 (14:27):
The Padres stay when they play the Dodgers in Pasadena.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
And oh in Pasadena the Langham Dark, Kay, And that's
where also the college teams that are playing UCLA stay
as well.
Speaker 12 (14:42):
So you know it's a hotel.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Hey, that's at because it's so close to the Rosebow
and of course the Ravine, but it's far enough away
from the ravine that you're saying, you know, it is
a peaceful spot.
Speaker 10 (14:56):
Yes, it is very nice and quiet.
Speaker 11 (14:59):
Believe that where they're at.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
All right, we're gonna call and find out.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, wait are we?
Speaker 11 (15:05):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (15:06):
What do we call and ask for Aaron Judges room.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Now, say, are the Yankees there? We have a welcoming gift.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
I will volunteer to go and check it out myself.
Speaker 10 (15:18):
Thank you, Anonymous, go tomorrow and ring the fire alarm
off tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
This is Jeremy Renner.
Speaker 4 (15:28):

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Home girl, ellen K. Morning Show, ellen K, Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
I'm Coast one to three point five.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I love you so top stories. Top of the hour
of Good Morning. Ellen K had four words that may
change the way the World Series is played, and that
is show Hay on the Mound. There are some rumors
that show Hate may pitch for us during the World
Series game Friday or even Saturday, so we will see
(15:56):
if that is true. A storied rivalry with those yank
Keys and also the Dodgers, one that hasn't made the
fall classic since eighty one. Last time we faced off,
Ronald Reagan was president. A New Home in La costs
on average seventy seven thousand dollars and get out of
Gas a dollar fifteen. And the number one song on
Coast one of three point five was Endless Love by
Lyonel Richie and Diana Ross. And what about this Will
(16:19):
it be freedom Friday for the Menendez brothers Lada. George
Gascon says a decision on that case will happen by
the end of the week, so it seems we'll find
out their fate later today or tomorrow. This after officials
decide to reevaluate the infamous murder case, Gascon says Eric
and Lyle will face a technical re sentencing, which could
lead them to walking free or soon getting out on parole.
(16:41):
And he's starting today La Metro testing out a new
concealed weapons tech at Union Station, the latest in their
attempts to increase security. It's a non invasive screening method,
no physical contact, no need to remove all belongings. These
beta tests will continue through December for all passengers going
on a Metro bus or Trainizabeth Francis has passed away
(17:01):
at the age of one hundred and fifteen. She's the
oldest at living a woman, and her family confirmed that.
During an interview just a little while ago to mark
her one hundred and fourteenth birthday, Francis said, despite her age,
she feels really young. She said, look at me, I'm
like a young little chicken. Her secret to longevity is
different from other long living Americans. Includes no drinking or smoking.
(17:24):
But she says she ate everything in sight, so gives
us all excuse me, what we want? A little light
morning fog clearing for full sun highs in the mid eighties.
Game time temp tomorrow Dodger Stadium seventy five for first
pitch that happens at five oh eight Venice and Valencia,
you get highs of seventy five and eighty five, and
right now it's sixty in Burbank. We run on Celsius
(17:44):
Energy drinks KOST Los Angeles. It's Coast one of three
point five. We are tracking the Yankees. We think we
found out where they're staying. Also cash on Coast coming
up and Shakira tickets before you can buy them. She'll
be it so fine you could too. You're ollen k
Q and A just ahead.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
It's the k Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (18:07):
You are awesome. I listen to you guys every morning,
anytime I'm in my vehicle. You guys are there to
keep me awake and happy and smiling.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Thank you for being here with us.
Speaker 11 (18:18):
You guys are the best man, no matter what.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Host one O three point five, We're the only k
Morning Show Melle.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Good morning, I yan Man Social Queen Diaryland, Good morning.
I'm producing Micromos. We are here with Ed for you.
We are a show for others. We're working on your
world series tickets. We have one more day Dodgers Yankees show.
Hey may take them ound. Wouldn't that be such a
great thing to see him pitching?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Is it risky though?
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yes? Yeah it is.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Yeah, life is a risk. Yeah, I know, but the
guy isn't pitched all. I mean, he's a tremendous pitcher.
But let's not forget he hasn't thrown off season.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Has he been hitting? Well? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Oh, last series was a struggle. You're right, okay, Brian,
come on last year.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
All about spirit and I think it'll get the crowd
going crazy.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Yes, me too, show Hey on the mound. These are
the rumors we're hearing it. Remember our iHeart Brother station
is a M five seventy LA Sports, so we have
some connections there. I forget Taylor Swift. This time of the year,
it's Terror Swift. There's a woman who decorated her house
in Terror Swift. So it's like Taylor Swift gone wrong.
(19:28):
Skeletons dressed up like Taylor. Her name is Burger llewellen Berger.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, she said her grandkids love it, so they helped
her do it. Anyway, that's kind of fun. And we're
looking for the Yankees. Where are they staying? So I
think that we've ruled out the Langham Pasadena, where a
lot of pro teams and college teams stay. It's close
to the Rose Bowl. It would make sense. It's a grand,
big hotel. It's beautiful, private and luxurious five Stars in Pasadena.
(19:59):
But we don't think it's there because Ryan, you found
a video I did. Yeah, the Yankees' buses pulling up
to a hotel.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
There's a TikTok video going around with them getting off
the bus, and we compared it to the Langham entrance
and it doesn't quite match it.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
And I was thinking the Thompson in Hollywood, but there's
they don't have that kind of room or shrubs, So
I don't think they're at the Thompson. But a lot
of a lot of proteins stay there because it's right
in the heart of Hollywood.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
And if you're wondering why we care, just going back
to what Ellen said at the start of the show today.
Do not go to this hotel and make a bunch
of noise overnight.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
But we were trying to find Claudia. Thank you for
calling you. You think you might know you have some thoughts.
Speaker 7 (20:38):
Yes, I would like to say that I am thinking
the Yankees. I'm going to say at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Unfulfic. Okay,
summer last summer, I was there and I opened the
elevator and here they go, the real Madrid Teine passing
by me one by what. So they have the bills
(21:02):
that they can hide them, be comfortable and big place
for bucket. So I think that is a very good
height for a team.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Okay, that's a really good tip.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
Mm hmmm mm hmm exactly. It's what I was thinking.
Have a fantastic day, good bye.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Okay you too. That is it's like hide and seek.
That is a great place. They have those those bungalows,
so you could you could hide it. You could hide
the Yankees at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It's huge. And
when we look at this video and ticks, I can't
believe we're going to state it's crazy. Those shrubs and
the arches, the Beverly Hills Hotel has those arches similar.
(21:45):
I think we're on something.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
Keep the calls coming though if you if you're privy,
we can keep you anonymous.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
We also have your cash on Coast it is coming
up one thousand dollars for you next.
Speaker 4 (21:56):

But being there Coast one oh three point five, it's
the llen K Q and A on Coast one o
three point five.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Hi Christina, IHI, Hey Christina. Uh so we're taking your guesses, Shakira,
so far before you can buy them as a pair
of tickets. People with this profession walk for and a
half miles a day. What do you say it is?
Speaker 12 (22:29):
I said it was a salesperson at Saale.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
All oh, that's a great guess, constantly checking, going, moving,
helping people. A lot of people are saying also mail carriers,
so these are regular guesses, but not the right answer.
Speaker 10 (22:49):
Hey, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (22:50):

We think we have id'd the hotel.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
Yeah, it looks like we zoomed in on an entrance
at the Langham and Pasadena, and it looks like we
compared it to the video of the team arriving last
night on TikTok and they are at the Langham in Pasadena,
which is the old Ritz Carlton, Oh, let's go.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Where you are right now. You can go over there.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Don't go in the middle of the night and make
a bunch of noise.
Speaker 11 (23:38):
And then better for Dodger there.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
All right, Well, what's your guest, Sandy Lopez?
Speaker 11 (23:48):

great guess it is not the right, sir.

Ellen k One more day, World series Dodgers Yankees, Yankees
landing last night. We think we've identified the hotel in
which they are staying. All roads lead to the Langham, Pasadena.
I also the last time we met up with the
(25:37):
Yankees was when Coast had Endless Love is the number
one song playing Lionel Richie and Diana Ross and tributes
continue pouring in this morning for Fernando Vealezuela and the
latest comes from fellow franchise icon Heimi Hareen. Hareen was
El Toro's long time Spanish language broadcast partner, and he
knows Fernando will be inside Dodger Stadium tomorrow night.
Speaker 8 (26:00):
It's going to be very very unique, very especial because
I am sure that Fernando's presence will be there. Fernandos
will be there, And now I wish I could have
a contact.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Oh yeah, and what about this? This is scary. A
ten year old boy in Irvine was bitten by a
coyote while riding his bike on Pathway Drive. Thankfully, the
bio was described as minor, though further details on this
boy's condition have not been released. Irvine's Animal Services unit
working to locate that offending coyote and WNBA rookie star
(26:37):
Caitlin Clark has leaped ahead of a lot of stars
to become the fourth most marketable athlete in the world.
On this list of most marketable Elionel Messi is number five,
Kaitlin Clark number four, Lebron is number three. Up at
number one Simone Bios. So congrats to Caitlin Clark. And
a little light morning fog in some areas still and
we will clear away full sun. High's in the mid
(26:58):
eighties right now, it is sixty in Burbank KOs T,

there's anything on your mind you want to talk to
our licensed therapist, we are here for you. Also more

your station, I listen to it throughout the day, and
I go to bed listening to it. Thank you for
all that you do. You guys are absolutely the.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
We are your hookup then to win. We're going to
get you in all right. We're working hard on getting
New York tickets, so you know you can always count
on us. Bitch Cash on Coast coming up also, and
your four packs to jingle Ball Therapy Thursday. Are licensed
therapist Sarah Dash coming through for you. And uh got
(27:57):
a letter and it's about loaning money. Have you ever
loaned money to someone? And then it gets awkward? Sarah,
thank you so much for being here. I'm very happy
to be here as always. Thank you so Sarah. We
got a letter. Dear Ellen, I'm in a tough situation
with my family. I need some advice. A few years ago,
I loaned a significant amount of money to my brother
(28:18):
to help him through a difficult time. We never set
a strict timeline for repayment, but I assumed he'd prioritize
paying me back when he could. Since then, he's made
little or no effort to repay the debt. I've gently
brought it up. He either avoids the conversation or makes
vague promises that never materialized. Wow, Okay. I never intended
(28:42):
for the money to tear my family apart, but I
feel like the loan has become a source of constantention.
Any of us who've ever loaned money to a family
member or a loved one know this feeling, yes, Or
if we have borrowed from someone and didn't realize, oh
my gosh, I need to pay that back faster. This
listener wants to know should I confront my brother directly
(29:03):
or just let it go. I think it's always better
to have a direct conversation to clear the error.
Speaker 9 (29:09):
Yeah, and sometimes people do not pay us back if
they have the assumption that it doesn't really matter. It's
not a big deal to us, for they don't prioritize it.
So if we don't prioritize it, we're really not even
giving them an opportunity to prioritize it.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
You know, we used to work with the gentleman who
used to say all the time, alone is not alone,
it's money you're giving away. Exactly.
Speaker 9 (29:37):
That's why when people bring up to me the idea
of giving money to a friend or a relative, giving
is exactly what you said that you must think of
it as a gift.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
So I would say, give the loan if you want
to help someone struggling in your family or a friend,
but have the bound you said over boundary it.
Speaker 9 (29:58):
I think you should like schedule for the sake of clarity.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
But okay, so let me ask. I'm gonna push back
on you a little bit, Sarah. So how does that
then look? Okay, so what if he does miss a payment?
So then what are the consequences?
Speaker 2 (30:11):
You know what I'm saying. You're not a bank. You
can't report him to FIKO.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
You know what I mean? Right? And I would never
if it was my sister or my brother, I would never,
Like Sam, I'm going to charge you interest. So you
know what I mean, someone I grew up with, someone
I love my own blood.
Speaker 9 (30:29):
I mean, you're absolutely right. Is you're kind of in
a no in situation. It falls into.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
The no good deed goes punished, no.
Speaker 9 (30:40):
Good deed goes unpunished. Okay, But apart from having that
boundary or just considering it a gift, yeah, you really
don't have a choice.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Well, this person signed their letter stuck in the middle. Yikes,
stuck in the middle? All right? Eight nine nine, k
T are you stuck in the middle? What are you
gonna do about it? We want to hear from you. Also,
keep it here. One thousand dollars just ahead.
Speaker 4 (31:07):

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Go Dodgers were like all of our LA teams to
do well. Go Chargers, Go Rams, Go Ducks and Kings.
And hey, congrats to courts Hill teen and Dodger superfan
Kylie Dominguez celebrating her belated Kitsineta at Dodger stadium dressed
in a gorgeous Dodger blue gown. She did this on
(32:22):
Mexican Heritage to Night, and all the social posts are
going viral. Now. A security guard was so touched by
fans cheering for Kylie that he gave her a game ball.
So congrats. That is so cool that you get to
do that. That we live in such a beautiful, wonderful
place where we have so many winners all around us.
(32:44):
Who will win tonight Thursday night? Football? Minnesota is five
and one, the Rams are two and four, and Sean
McVay produced a bunch of winning coaches. Five of his
former assistants have become NFL head coaches, so he will
face one of them, Kevin O'Connell with Sean McVay. So
we'll see there what's going to happen. We hear that
(33:07):
Stafford might get traded to the Viking, So will Matthew
Stafford be playing against his new team tonight? Oh?
Speaker 5 (33:14):
Like this could go down today because the trade deadline
is what Election day, the fifth, so it could be
an afternoon trade and they just.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Swap uniform I know, I mean, I don't think you'll
play as that they'll play against.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
His future, his future team.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
That's just what I'm here and here to the ground.
All right.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
So before we call this hotel where we believe the
Yankees to be staying in Pasadena, what's our game plan here?
Are you just going to ask for like Aaron Judges
room or like what?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
No, no, I just wanted to if they confirmation if
they're staying, they're going to tell you you think, well,
I think they will. Are the Yankees staying there? I'm
a huge fan.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
That's how you're going to handle this.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
That's my plan. What's your plan?
Speaker 2 (33:49):
My plan is your plan?
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Okay, it's the Langham and Pasadena. Thank you.
Speaker 13 (33:57):

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Top stories top of the hour, Good morning of Ellen
k and will it be freedom for the Menendez brothers Laeda.
George Gascon says his decision on their case will happen
at one thirty pm today. He just announced his press conference.
According to some new evidence that came to light, Gascon
says Eric and Lyle will face a technical re sentencing,
which could lead to them walking free or soon getting
(35:40):
out on parole again. That decision will be shared with
all of us. At one thirty pm today, Mark Zuckerberg
fired two dozen staff members here in la that have
used their twenty five dollars meal benefits. Instagram and Facebook's
parent company Meta gives employees daily allowances of twenty five
dollars for each of three meals. However, several with annual
salaries of four hundred thousand. We're expensing the company for
(36:04):
acne pads, wine glasses, and laundry detergent. One of the
employees posted anonymously how the spent allowance on tea and
beauty items quote on days where I would not be
eating at the office, I figured I better not waste
my dinner credit anyway. Zuckerberg says it is zero tolerance.
You can't abuse your meal credit. The Meta company trades
at a value of one point four trillion dollars, and
(36:27):
they still came down on the employees there. So nearly
eight ten women eighty percent of us feel like we
have a six cents. A survey of two thousand women
looked at how strong their intuition is and found that
more than half of our bondons have a lot of
trust in their own gut feelings. Gut feelings lead them
correctly about seventy five percent of the time, So always
(36:48):
trust your gut. And music in the workplace can reduce
distractions and boost productivity. For example, when we're performing a
boring task, music can stimulate our mind, resulting in better performance.
Listening can improve your attention all right. Ron Eally, the
honky actor who portrayed the Lord of the Jungle Tarzan
on the first Tarzan series, has passed away. He was
(37:10):
eighty six. He died at the home of one of
his daughters near Santa Barbara. Ron eally hosted the Miss
America pageant, stepping in for a longtime. Mc Burt Parks
and he was six y four, blue eyed. He'd appeared
and so many different productions, but best known for well
his famous Tarzan Yo Hey, and let's go Dodgers, legendary
(37:36):
yodel and Pinks goes blue for the Dodgers. So if
you drive by Pinks today you'll see everything is now blue.

Speaker 10 (38:36):
Oh my goodness. I don't. I'm not about that. I
don't know how to explain it. Yeah, I'm just I
can't pick one, and then everybody else is.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
Mad at me for making that team.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
No, that's true. I mean you don't unless you're married
to one of them, or you know, like one of
them is your brother or something that you shouldn't. Probably exactly. Okay,
that was a non answer.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
She's running for office or something political answer.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
Come on, Riyah, let's go Dodgers.

I do think this is cool. I know Drake takes
a lot of flak for a lot of things, but
he's buying everyone a Dave's Hot Chicken sandwich in the country.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
It's free.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
Just go. We just say, Drake, just go get the
Drake sandwich.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Yeah, just pull up and say I'm here for my

He probably has a.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
