the Chinese Theater last night and Olympic snowboarder Shawn White
proposed to Nina Do Brave a five carrot diamond ring.
Congrats to the happy couplew ABC secured for ten years

(06:47):
the rights to the Grammys starting in twenty twenty seven.
The awards ceremony has aired on CBS for decades.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
I think over forty years, maybe fifty.

Speaker 9 (06:55):
Back to nineteen seventy three.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Oh yeah, God.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
This year the network acquired the AMA and now the
networks have swapped the rights to music awards shows that
leave to ABC in twenty twenty seven with the Super Bowl,
Grammys and the Oscars.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
So I was shocked when I saw that.

Speaker 9 (07:10):
I was like, what is all of those voiceovers? We
could picture Ellen Cason only CBS.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
And now I have to say only Disney.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (07:20):
Plus, by the way, Grammy Nooms do come out next
week and the show will be held on Darth's birthday.

But then the flood gate open with those errors, and boy,
oh boy, did it did it switch quick?

Speaker 16 (09:16):

Speaker 12 (10:07):
Yeah, I mean it's so funny you say that dark
because this one really isn't even a way to hack happiness.
It's just about happiness. Okay, this is true. Science has
found that we love Halloween because it gets us, they
say hi. Scientifically, biologically, emotionally, it provides a natural high.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Is it the sugar?

Speaker 9 (10:26):
It's everything. So it's the sugar.

Speaker 12 (10:28):
It's the thrilling scares, mix of excitement, anxiety in the air,
the fall air, the anticipation of haunted houses, horror movies,
costume strangers.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
I smelt fireplace last night.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh eight, that too.

Speaker 9 (10:39):
It all adds to it.

Speaker 12 (10:40):
It evokes a rush of adrenaline, triggering a temporary feeling
of euphoria on this day specifically.

Speaker 9 (10:46):
So if you're floating today, blame it on Halloween. And
well the Dodgers.

The team will travel on double decker buses. It's forty

to Dodger Stadium for a special ticketed event featuring players, food, entertainment,
and overall joy.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
Unfortunately, some our.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Rests were made last night following unruly celebrations throughout the
streets of La looting, some street takeovers, and at the
risk of being alarmist, there's some growing chatter this morning
that show Hey may need to have another surgery during
the off season, all related to his scary shoulder dislocation
while sliding in Game two. Our insiders say his discomfort
has not subsided, which was pretty apparent when watching him

(12:33):
hit the One piece of good news, Additional imaging yesterday
showed no signs of structural damage, so fingers crossed, and
we've learned more about those two Yankee fans who egregiously
interfered with Mooki bets catch during Game four, literally yanking
the ball from his glove. Initially, the season ticket holders Iddas,
Austin and John were ejected and given a swift lifetime

(12:53):
ban from Yankee Stadium, but the team reconsidered and reduced
the band to only last night's game. Meh, good on
the Yanks for this one. They regifted those empty seats
to a pediatric cancer patient and his dad. So all's well,
that ends well, and a happy Halloween too. Yeah, we're
sunny and clear with tumps around seventy five. Rain is
on the way, but right now, Hacienda Heights, you'll see

Speaker 9 (13:45):
I think so?

Speaker 6 (13:46):

take over from Santa Claus. So you know, I figure,
if I already conquered Halloween, why not moving to Christmas, Easter,
you know, Saint Patrick's Day, whatever. So I love Chris Christmas.

Speaker 9 (14:57):
You could be elf Lyra.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Elvira.

Speaker 12 (15:00):
When were you first summoned by the dark side? When
did you first When did you know you were turning dark?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Let's see, I probably willow it was nineteen eighty one
when Elviirou was first born in la And I always
always was in the horror movies. I mean, starting in
second grade, which was probably inappropriate. But I love Halloween
and the fact that I ended up being the Queen

(15:27):
of Halloween is a really bizarre I have a picture
of myself when I was five years old, and my
costume that I asked my mom to make was the
Queen of Halloween. That's what I wanted to be.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
So, like Mariah says, she's the Queen of Christmas, you're
the Queen of Halloween.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Do you and Mariah know each other?

Speaker 13 (15:44):
We do.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I had a really fun time with her at a party.
One time. We were dancing together all night. It was
so bizarre. I don't know, but we had a great time.
I've got a bunch of pictures with me and she
was a doll.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Oh please post those. I would love to see. I
would love to see that.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
That was really cute. We were just I think we
might have had a drink or two.

Speaker 13 (16:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
Well, thank you for yours, Cruelly. The Alvira experience. It
not scary, farm. We can experience that. Thanks for all
the appearances you've done there, but tell us what we're
in for when we go through your experience.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, it's really fun. It's almost like a little Elvira museum.
You can actually seed my original couch which is there
on display, and my my codmobile, my nineteen fifty ninety
bird is there on display, among a million other things,
my costume, my original costume, all kinds of memorabilia from
the shows over the years. And I know a lot

(16:40):
of people in southern California have been to my shows
over the years. I've been doing it for thirty two years.
So you gotta go.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
There, all right, Elvira, your Mistress of the Dark and
Mistress of the morning.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
Thanks for coming on our show.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
You're welcome. Thank you guys for talking to you.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Are you kidding me? You are it?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Elvira mistress Sivadar, also a Dodger fan. That happy Halloween
to you.

Speaker 6 (17:09):

Speaker 14 (17:18):
There's more feel good next on the L and K
Morning Show, host one oh three point bot.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Return of the Halloween Carnival West Hollywood, So I'm sure
we'll see a lot of Dodger blue there. So streets
are closed all around West Hollywood. Just keep that in
mind as you move through your day. And Carnival goes
from six to eleven, but it really it just lasts
all night. I used to live right there in West
Hollywood on Larabie and I could just walk down to

(17:46):
the carnival. And my husband and I had just started
dating and he had moved here and he's from New Orleans.
So I said, they're parades and all kinds of things,
so it is one of our first dates. I said,
let's walk down to Carnival, and you got to see this.
Five hundred thousand people in the street. So we're in
Santa Monica Boulevard. We're walking down there and he's he's

(18:07):
expecting Marty Grass parade right right, and then he just
sees butt cheeks everywhere, a.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
Lot of nudity, and so it isn't as great.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
He was like, well, this is different than in New Orleans,
you know, Marty Grass.

Speaker 12 (18:20):
So when they say eleven pm, I've never been. Is
eleven pm just kind of a loose suggestion.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Is Yeah, it's just for formality. Okay, yeah, I think
they have to for city rules or something for the paperwork.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
We are shutting down at eleven tonight, all right, Dodgers
landing in half an hour.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
We're so excited.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Oh what a day, Happy Halloween, Happy World Series, the
parade tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
They say, of all, spiders are not poisonous.

the clown. You know, there's a clown college in Florida.
You can go to college to be a clown. It's
really serious and rigorous. I once met a professional clown
and he told me about the whole process. You have
to get accepted. It's like being accepted to like Juilliard
for music.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
H Well, no, it is. It's hard to get into.
That's what he said, of course.

Speaker 10 (23:10):

To see what he meant to so many people being
around him the last three years.

Speaker 6 (24:51):

I'm glad he's he's up there, probably with my mom
my jumping up and down right now. So I'm glad
we were able to bring it home. Kind of a
little bittersweet, but I'm glad we were able to do
it for Fernando's.

fields for youth sports. Ontario Mayor Paul Leone calls it

And the Grammys have found a new TV home starting
in twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
It's ABC.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
The Academy announced a new ten year deal to broadcast
the show. And this means ABC has the rights to
our Big three, the Grammys, the Oscars, and the Super Bowl.
By the way, Grammy Noms will be announced next week
and the ceremony will be held on Groundhog Day. And
we all know the zombies e brains, but so does
this real life creature. There's something called the Nagaleria Valeri.
It's an amba with a ninety nine percent fatality rate

(25:57):

the US. It enters your body through your nose and
then it does eat your brain. It's super rare to

This Coast one at three point five, the champs have
arrived home, just landing on a United Jet on the tarmac.
Shall we go to the live coverage KTLA our brothers
and sisters and broadcasts?

Speaker 6 (26:53):

camp this offseason.

Yeah. So, what's the mood in New York right now?
Besides low somber, very somber somber.

We felt defeated. We did not live up to the
expectations of the East Coast West coast rivalry, and hats
off to Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers. You guys played well,
and I'll be happy the Yankee fans. I will apology
for that unfortunate lookie best incident in the outfield.

Okay, thank you for that, because no one's apologized yet.

Speaker 9 (28:42):
In fact, they blamed it on us. Yeah, bewerful.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
These New York are saying that we that we in
LA were so casual that we have led baseball down
that road. And that's why people are rowdy because they're
not wearing suits like they used to at the Yankee Games.

Speaker 16 (29:00):
No, he could have got really hurt.

in defeat. And you can't really appreciate winning unless you
you know know what losing feels.

Speaker 6 (29:35):
Like, and we know what losing feels like.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Exactly, so we are just celebrating big time. The boys

I don't know if you remember that scene. That's like
what I kept, Uh.

Speaker 5 (42:51):
You kept watching that on the research.

Speaker 19 (42:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
Last year you were posting malone and so you were
just totally tatted.

Speaker 6 (42:56):
I was totally tatted and it was funny. I kept
the tats on for a couple of days, and uh,
people really were into my tats and a lot of
tattooed people starting conversations with me in places, and it's.

Speaker 5 (43:10):
The whole culture that it is we're introduced to.

Speaker 6 (43:13):
I don't have any tattoos, but uh, I'm thinking about it. Yeah,
I'm thinking about doing all of it. Maybe since the Dodgers. One,
maybe I don't know something Dodgers. Something that's a good
idea my chest or on my throat or something.

Speaker 5 (43:26):
Something something visible.

Speaker 6 (43:30):
Two options. Yeah, I mean, if you're going to do it,
like do it, you know. Yeah, I'm here to just
get like something on like my.

Speaker 5 (43:37):
Buttocks or something like you know that no one can see, like.

Speaker 6 (43:40):
A hidden like underwear area.

Speaker 9 (43:42):
I want it like right under the eye or throats
or I'm speaking of the Dodgers. As a New Yorker,
I believe you're Mets. You grew up a Mets fan.

Speaker 6 (43:52):
Listen, Yeah, this is gonna really this is going to
make me sound like I'm a wishy, washy person. I
grew up New York City, so I my first love
is the Mets. I do also root for the Yankees.
Very difficult World Series and postseason for me because basically
every it was a win win win situation for me.

(44:15):
I was a little bit rooting for a little bit
of a comeback last night, and very happy for the Dodgers.
Great team, team of history, team of destiny. I think
the best team in the in the league all I mean,
with the best record, so it takes very very happy
for them, very happy for you. Listen, I've been to

(44:35):
way more Dodgers games than I've been to Mets games
or Yankees games. I've resided in Los Angeles, Ellen, you
know this for coming up on thirty.

Speaker 5 (44:43):
Years we moved here at the same time.

Speaker 6 (44:46):
Yeah, so I've been to Chaveservin a lot more than
I've been to even the new Yankees team, I've only
been there once. And the New Shay Stadium I've only
been or in the New City Field, I've only been
there a couple of times. So I'm I'm very happy
for the Dodgers.

Speaker 5 (45:02):
We're happy that your share today.

Speaker 6 (45:03):
On the the end, well, i feel like I'm running
for office here, like I'm trying to say something to that,
saying anything. Can we get back to me dressing up
a shriff.

Speaker 5 (45:11):
Yeah, do you like my Ellen Vira Mistress of the Morning.
Oh yeah, costume.

Speaker 6 (45:16):
You know, I gotta say Ellen Vira. It's uh, that's
the really fun thing about Halloween is that everybody looks
like sexy.

Speaker 8 (45:27):
You know.

Speaker 6 (45:27):
It's like I realized this is the workplace.

Speaker 5 (45:29):
Ellen.

Speaker 6 (45:29):
I want to be respectful here, but you're very sexy
as Ellen Viral.

Speaker 8 (45:34):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (45:34):
It's posted up at coast One of three five FM
was on our Instagram artificial ollen k. But I had
to after I put that up. And you'll understand this
being the father to you know, your twin girls. Sure,
I had to text my son and apologize, oh right
for showing the girls.

Speaker 6 (45:50):
Right right right, Yeah, my daughters when I dressed up
as Share for this episode of the Talk. We taped
it a couple of days ago. So I I went
and I uh, I picked up my children from uh
from their after school activities in full drag, and yeah

(46:10):
that was uh. They were actually, you know, they're what
are they gen z? What are my kids? The fifteen
gen Z two? They're uh, they're very open to it.
They were like, yeah, Dad, ye like this.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
I'm sure you make a beautiful share.

Speaker 6 (46:29):
You know, I have to say, the only difficult part
was I put on eyelashes, and it's not something I've
really done that much of. And so I was in
the costume all day and my eyelids were very sore
from lifting eyelashes all day long. So I just want
to like shout out all the people who glue eyelashes

(46:52):
to their faces. I mean, I've seen. I mean, I
don't want to say, like I know someone who gets
like like Stenders put on their you know, mink extensions.
They went with a small I think they only went
with like a four mil or five mil. But and mink,
pure mink, not like fake ones, you know, not like

(47:12):
like actual mink. But I want to shout out people
who have big eyelashes on there because it's like a
workout and you have to get used to it. I'm
not joking the day to say.

Speaker 5 (47:23):
That too, because you know we're all putting them on.

Speaker 6 (47:25):
Playing Share on our October Halloween special on the Talk.
My eyelids were sore for days days, had to uh
ice them and everything.

Speaker 5 (47:37):

Coast and he's coming up next to.

mister world what and uh Cheryl Underwood, my other co host,
is going to be uh Rick James B word. It's
so funny. A lot of our a lot of our
people that were playing uh like B word. It's like, like,

(48:57):
it's Brittany B word.

Speaker 5 (48:58):
I'm Rick James B where Yeah, but it fly maybe
it was that era.

Speaker 6 (49:04):

Speaker 6 (49:08):
I was fully contoured. It's amazing how small they made
my nose look is like when you're talking about makeup
and contouring, it's incredible. I don't need to get surgery
to make my nose smaller. I can just contour it.

Speaker 4 (49:21):
There are so many great tutorials on Instagram. So one
day I said, I'm gonna I bought the three contour sticks.
You got your the bronze, Sure, that's for contour, and
then you got the blush, and then you've got the highlight.

Speaker 6 (49:32):
