younger sister, she's a middle child. Her name is Caroline.
She was born with rhet syndrome. Rhet syndrome is a
rare neurological disorder which is caused by genetic mutation. She
cannot walk, she cannot talk, she's in a wheelchair, has

a feeding siper, all of that, and my mom is
her twenty four seven caretaker. She's twenty four and I
love her so so much, and of you know, of
course I wish she did not have her disability, but
throughout her life I have just seen over and over
again God's greater purpose for her life. So I got

engaged almost a year ago, and when I started wedding planning,
the absolute biggest no brainer was I wanted to incorporate
her in a special way in our wedding, something that
I have grieved for a very long time as well
as I know my family has grieved for a while,
is that she wouldn't have the opportunity to live a

life like me, like you, like the rest of my family,
and something that she would miss out on is a
wedding of her own, having that kind of relationship. And
so as I began to make plans with my now
husband Ryan, it was just the easiest decision to make
her my bride of honor. The plan was we would
both wear white, my dad would walk us both down

the aisle separately, and that she would just get to
do something that honestly, my family and I never thought
that she would get to do, which is see her
in white being walked down the aisle. Were really pushed
down the aisle in her wheelchair by my dad, and
it is something all chaish forever and probably one of
my most favorite things about my wedding day.

Absolutely so. I am the oldest of three siblings, my
younger sister, she's a middle child. Her name is Caroline.
She was born with rhet syndrome. Rhet syndrome is a
rare neurological disorder which is caused by genetic mutation. She
cannot walk, she cannot talk, she's in a wheelchair, has

a feeding siper, all of that, and my mom is
her twenty four seven caretaker. She's twenty four and I
love her so so much, and of you know, of
course I wish she did not have her disability, but
throughout her life I have just seen over and over
again God's greater purpose for her life. So I got
(29:50):
engaged almost a year ago, and when I started wedding planning,
the absolute biggest no brainer was I wanted to incorporate
her in a special way in our wedding, something that
I have grieved for a very long time as well
as I know my family has grieved for a while,
is that she wouldn't have the opportunity to live a
(30:12):
life like me, like you, like the rest of my family,
and something that she would miss out on is a
wedding of her own, having that kind of relationship. And
so as I began to make plans with my now
husband Ryan, it was just the easiest decision to make
her my bride of honor. The plan was we would
both wear white, my dad would walk us both down

the aisle separately, and that she would just get to
do something that honestly, my family and I never thought
that she would get to do, which is see her
in white being walked down the aisle. Were really pushed
down the aisle in her wheelchair by my dad, and
it is something all chaish forever and probably one of
my most favorite things about my wedding day.
