old named Tyler Robinson. Somebody who was very close to

governor of Utah. The Charlie Kirk assassination suspect has been
caught top stories, top of the hour, I'm Ellen K
and he has identified as twenty two year old Utah
local Tyler Robinson. Governor Spencer Cox announced Robinson's dad reached
out to a family friend who contacted police with information

that Robinson assassinated Charlie Kirk. Robinson did confess to his
dad that he was the assassin. Family told investigators that
Robinson had become more political recently and was full of
hate and spreading hate. During the news conference, authorities revealed
some of the inscriptions on the bullet casings. They are awful.
I won't repeat them, but investigators did interview Robinson's roommate,

which allowed them to see discord messages sent by his
phone that chronicled his action plan, including where he ditched
his weapon. Specifically, the message said the rifle would be
wrapped in a towel and left in a bush. Earlier
this morning, Air Force two returned the body of Charlie
Kirk to Phoenix, along with his family on board, and
they had this message over the radio.
