Top Stories. Top of the Hour. Good morning, I'm Ellen
K and Jake Harrow was sentenced two thirty plus years
in prison for his baby son Emmanuel's death. The Riverside
County man who admitted to killing his seven month old son,
was sentenced in the killing of his son, Emmanuel and
additional charges. The sentencing coming after Harrow charged his pleaded
guilty nearly two months after he and his wife, Rebecca

(01:26):
were arrested. And what about this, Denny's is going to
be acquired and taken private in a deal valued at
six hundred and twenty million dollars. Denny's board unanimously approved
the deal, which values Denny's at just over six hundred
million dollars including their debt. Denny's was founded right here
in Lakewood in nineteen fifty three, and it was founded
as Danny's Donuts. The name was changed to Denny's Coffee

(01:47):
Shops in nineteen fifty nine to avoid confusion with another chain.
And the thrilling World Series Game seven brought enormous ratings
to Fox. Early numbers suggests this was the biggest baseball
audience in eight years. Acording to those early numbers from Nielsen,
the Dodgers victory over Toronto Blue Jayson eleven innings brought
in an average of twenty six million viewers. Viewership peaked

(02:08):
to thirty one million later in the game, and numbers
don't even include the massive Canadian and Japanese audiences that
tuned into the event. But the rally was amazing, sold
out and here's show Hey.

Speaker 7 (02:21):
I want to say I'm as his team, and then
I want to say you guys are the greatest.

Speaker 8 (02:29):
Of fans in the world.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
And then I'm ready to get another ring.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
We're ready to show hey.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
And then Mookie came up with just an amazing idea repeat.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Hey, never sounded so sweet.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Somebody make that a T shirt all right printed and
a sunny beauty with highs around seventy five. But first
we have to get over this foggy, misty stuff going
on right now. That should clear away around nine this morning,
Bell Gardens, Buena Park. You both go to seventy five
for your highs. It is sixty and Burbank Kost, Los Angeles.
It's Coast one of three point five presented by Celsius

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Inside Entertainment with Lank People's Sexiest Man Alive was announce
last night on fallon the One and only Jonathan Bailey.
So you know him from Bridgerton and so many others.
He's also been in Jurassic World Rebirth and the Wicked movie,
so he's on the in the upcoming Wicked movie that
we are giving you four packs too. Anyway, Sexiest Man Alive.

(05:00):
His dog Benson also is in most of the photos
when the nominations were being cast, and so he you know,
he honors Benson and says it's really about my dog.
He's super humble too. But Jonathan Bailly, they're saying he's
the first openly gay People's Sexiest Man Alive and that's
written everywhere, but no one on TV will just say it.

(05:21):
I was really listening hard to all the reports.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Why is it written but not said? So we're proud
of you, Jonathan Bailey. Way to go. I love I
fell in love with him at Bridgerton and have not stopped.
So I think it's an amazing choice. People's Sexiest Men Alive.
And all I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah
has made a strong seasonal comeback, re entering the Spotify
Daily Top twenty at number fourteen, up ten spots, so

(05:46):
it is growing. It's going to be number one before
you know it. After Sophie Turner, Cold Play singer Chris
Martin have been on multiple dates in London after each
recently ended a relationship. There's a definite spark between them. Turner,
of course, as you know, broke up with her boyfriend
in late September after divorcing Joe Jonas, and then Chris

(06:07):
martin split with Dakota Johnson was pretty famously publicized. Dakota
Johnson said, the biggest red flag in dating is a
guy who wears jeans with flip flops, and then she'll
never date a guy who wears jeans and flip flops.
I don't mind that look at all.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
We're from California.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yeah, that's true. She is too, though, all right. Dancing
with the Stars Tonight on ABC and Disney plus Rock
and Roll, Hall of Fame Night, and the series premiere
of All's Fair on Hulu. A team of female attorneys
leave their male dominated firm and open their own practice.
At Stars Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Tiana Taylor,

(06:43):
and Glenn Close plus Nissi Nash been waiting for this.
I told Nisi Nash yesterday because she got up and
spoke for her best friend, Sherry Shepherd. As Sherry was
honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
They both cried for each other, hugged for each other,
loved on each other. They've been best friends for thirty years.
At Nisi Nash, you turned up and that dress was unreal.

(07:07):
If you want to see her, just go to Artificial
Allen Kate's in my Instagram. But Sherry Shepherd giving a
super moving emotional speech.

Speaker 9 (07:14):
I will walk up and down Hollywood, go to Jane
Jackson star and different people's star, and I would just
cry and go maybe one day that could be me
when I had nothing, and the fact that I'm here
right now and it is that day thirty something years
later that God said.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah, it's you. Yeah, it's you, Sherry Shepherd. Way to go.
She's got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
You want to go visit Sherry Star. It's at Argyle
and Hollywood Boulevard. I think the W Hotel in Pantagious.
Uh yeah, way to go. That was such a beautiful
coming up. Do not miss your chance to win your
way into our Coost private holiday parties at your four

(07:55):

cold play with Sophie Turner, Game of Thrones, I'm Dating,
and Dakota Johnson, Chris's ex has really truly moved on.
This is how she feels.

Speaker 10 (08:14):

It's coast one of three point five on your TALKBOC Tuesday,
it's your happiness hack. We give you one at this
time every single morning here on the show. And the
Japanese trio of Shohei Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki have
captivated us. They were so grateful and amazing. I love

(09:48):
their speeches yesterday at the rally. Yeah, it was so cool.
Couldn't get up. You know what I noticed? And I
love all of our Dodgers. They were the most grateful.
I felt like that our Japanese trio, they they made
it about the fans and the team where I know
that there was a lot of drinking going on, but
you know, I mean, and Kik often does just like
to throw f bombs and make it about themselves.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Their egos are in control.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yes, exactly, But it reminded me of this happiness hack
that I'll get to after we hear from Yoshi Yamamoto.

Speaker 8 (10:21):
Loving ethen, I love sir, I love her.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
I know well Tanta, well we love you back. And
I learned about this. It's called harra hatchi boo. It's
one simple Japanese eating habit linked to longevity. Some of
the world's healthiest and longest living people follow the practice
of Hara hatchi boo. So this eating philosophy is rooted
in moderation and it comes from a Japanese confusion teaching

(10:48):
and it tells us eat only and tell her about
eighty percent full. But how do you know? We have
to slow down. You just have to go super slow.
You got our just really be mindful and slow your role.
It's a way of eating that can help us learn
to have awareness and gratitude while just enjoying our meal

(11:08):
like the Japanese do. And look, the numbers don't lie.
They do live super long. It also aligns with healthier
meal choices and reduces emotional eating and enhances your overall
diet quality. So when someone says how are you feeling,
say I'm feeling great because Ahara Hachi boo and we

(11:30):
love you.

point five Top Stories, Top of the Hour. Good morning,
I'm ellen K And Dick Cheney, the hard charging conservative
who became one of the most powerful and polarizing Vice
presidents in US history, has died at the age of
eighty four. He passed Monday night due to complications of
pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. His family said in
a statement, we send our prayers to the Cheney family.

(12:27):
And what about this Clayton Kershaw Here's what he said
in his final appearance as a player at the rally
for the LA Dodgers. He said, thank you for eighteen years.
Thank you for being here for me and my family
and supporting us, and thank you for all you've given us.
Thank you my teammates. You guys are the best team
in the world. We're going to miss you. Clayton Kershaw
and California cracking down on people using hacks to create
their own self driving cars. Some drivers have taken matters

(12:50):
into their own hands in the hope of achieving something
similar to a self driving vehicle, in the form of
defeat devices, which tricks self driving hardware like Tesla's and
Fords to being homemade. Devices like steering wheel weights and
camera blockers simulate human engagement bypassing these cars driver monitoring systems.
A California bill has been proposed to put a stop

(13:11):
to these dangerous illegal hacks. And there's a new smoothie
at Arawon. I don't know if you've tried one there yet,
but they cost north of twenty dollars. Hayley Weaver has
a famous one, so does Heidiklume. But now Arawin is
selling a new toothpaste smoothie. They've partnered with an upscale
toothpaste brand. There's no actual toothpaste in it. It's just
inspired by a mint toothpaste that they sell and they

(13:33):
say it gives your mouth a refreshing home wake up.
And Cole's French Dip in downtown LA will now stay
open until December thirty first. You have more time to
grab a meal at one of the oldest restaurants in
LA before it closes. The French Dip was supposed to
close Col's a couple months ago, but their lease was extended,
So now you've got up until December thirty first, and
we do have developing a sun. I know it doesn't

(13:54):

doing the opposite of ruining baseball. We're actually making it
so much better. Twenty six million tuneing in and that
hasn't happened in eight years, So thank you Dodgers. Yeah,
it's just so huge, and I loved that, you know,

(15:08):
show Hey got up at the rally and he spoke
such beautiful English. It was so nice to hear him
do that. We'll share that with you coming up. And also,
daylight saving time ending takes exactly forty eight hours for
people who do struggle with it. So if you still
don't feel like you're back in your groove, science says
that when we fall back, we get that extra hour
of sleep, but any change in sleep patterns makes us

(15:29):
feel little uddy idy as that we say in this
So you should be fine by the end of today. Okay,

talk back on the iHeartRadio app. It's a microphone. You
just press it and you're in the studio. You have

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Oh okay, all right, let's get your guests. Then, it's
the most dangerous person to be in a relationship with?
What do you think?

Speaker 13 (21:01):
I'm thinking possessive jealous person.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
A possessive jealous person. That's a really popular guess. It
is not the right answer, Connie. I'm so sorry. Try again.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Oh, thank you?

Speaker 4 (21:13):
All right, thank you. Maria's on our way to lax Maria.
Do you work there? Are you leaving the country? What
are you doing? I'm going on vacation aware, uh to Cabo? Okay?
Are you traveling alone?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
No?

Speaker 14 (21:32):
Okay, so but you don't want to say no. Oh okay,
I thought maybe it was your secret lover. We'll have
a great time in Cavo. What's your guess?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
What is the most dangerous person to be in a
relationship with a narcissist? It's probably our top guest this morning,
and amazingly enough, it's not the right answer, but you're
so close.

Speaker 13 (21:58):
Oh man, all right, okay.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Love birds have a Marguerite for us.

Speaker 13 (22:04):
All right, thank you, thank you, all right.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Jessica stopped on the four h five. I'm so sorry, Jessica.

Speaker 13 (22:11):
I guess and my mom always said it's better to
be in the traffic to be the cause of the traffic.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Okay, yes, what a great thought to have in your head.
And we always love. One of our listeners calls and
says they caught the four five because it takes four
five hours anyway, that's our listener Dan, he's always on
the four h five. All right, Well, what's your guess, Jessica,
now that we have you stopped in traffic? What is

(22:36):
the most dangerous person to uh be in love with?

Speaker 13 (22:39):
I would honestly the one that's loveless.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Oh loveless. It maybe it's a security relationship or a
financial relationship. Wow, that's a good guess. That is not
the right answer, Jessica, but I love that guess.

Speaker 13 (22:54):
Well, I love that less.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
Thank you, Thank you all right. Veronica is in Chino. Hi, Veronica, Hi,
good mine, Ellen, good morning, Veronica. It sounds like you're
in your car too.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yes, all right, so, yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
You're on your way to work. So in China, what
is your guest? We still don't have the right answer
for Kelly Clarkson in Vegas an entire weekend. The most
dangerous person is what.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
The man dangerous person to do?

Speaker 4 (23:23):
It is the manipulator. The manipulator always trying to get
their way by making you bend to their will. Wow,
it's a really great guess, and you are right. You're
going to Vegas to see Kelly Clarkson an entirely fun

(23:44):
weekend for you. Thank you, Thank you Caesar's Palace in
Vegas at the Coliseum. Thank you for having us on
in your.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Ride of course, thank you guys, have a beautiful morning.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Oh you too. Yeah, the manipulator, it's the most dangerous
person to be in a relationship with because manipula grows
until you don't recognize yourself anymore. Real love builds you up,
never breaks you down. So that is the right answer.
Watch out for those manipulators. For the men in manipulator,
go's one at three point five more of your Disney

a place on the same heaven and it is coast.
One of three point five top stories Top the Hour.
Good morning, I'm Ellen k and the Dodgers bring in
so much shine to baseball. The thrilling at World Series
Game seven brought enormous ratings to Fox and this doesn't
even capture the massive Canadian and Japanese audiences that tuned in.

(26:06):
According to early numbers from Nielsen, the Dodgers victory over
Toronto and eleven innings brought an average of almost twenty
six million viewers. It peaked at thirty one million. This
has not happened in eight years. I loved the rally yesterday.
It was sold out. Show hey getting up and he
busted out his best English.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
I want to say, I'm as his team, and then
I want to say, you guys had the greatest of
fans in.

Speaker 13 (26:34):
The world, and.

Speaker 7 (26:37):
I'm ready to get another ring.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
I see okay, show so are we? You did amazing?
And then Mookie Bets had had a really great idea repeat.

Speaker 14 (26:48):
I never said it is so sweet somebody make that
a T shirt.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I'll be wearing that one. Okay, what about this. Huggy's
Diapers just bought tailan All. Kimberly Clark, the company behind
household care items like Huggies and Cleanex Tissues, is buying
the company that makes tail and All. It is a
massive forty nine billion dollar deal. It is a cash
and stock merger, creating one of the largest consumer health
companies in the world. And do you have any grandma hobbies?

(27:16):
They're having a major moment. It's all about stepping away
from digital overload and social media pressures. Mental health experts
suggests that hands on hobbies like knitting, puzzle making, baking,
foster mindfulness and they reduce anxiety by activating our senses
and grounding us in the moment. Plus, we have something
to show forth that you can actually touch. These grandma

(27:36):
style hobbies invite us to slow down, be present, and
find joy in simple tactile experiences. There's no app, no timer,
no guided script, just to task your hands and a
natural rhythm. So get into some grandma hobbies. I see
a lot, a lot a lot of teens taking up knitting.
Such a good thing and a sunny beauty later on
hides around seventy five. We're going to burn off some

(27:58):
of this fog and also a little bit misty in
some areas, but you will get afternoon sun seventy five
for your highs. Almost everywhere Valencia you see seventy five
Valley Village up to about eighty and right now it
is sixty and Burbank, presented by Celsia's energy drinks Kost
Los Angeles. It is coast one of three point five
more of your four packs to our private holiday party

(28:21):
just ahead front over and with all of our phone usage,
I was thinking, this is really cute. Iikia launched a
mini bed designed specifically for your phone. It's called the
Phone Sleep Collection.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
So who needs this?

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Well, when you go to bed, you put your phone
to bed in a real ikea bed. The idea is
you place your phone in a tiny bed when you
go to sleep to discourage late night scrolling. It includes
an embedded chip that tracks how long the phone stays
tucked in you get to turn it over to screen free.
So if you leave the phone in the bed for

(28:56):
at least seven hours per night across seven consecutive nights,
rewarded with an Ikea shopping voucher.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Okay, I love this.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Yeah. Now I mean you're earning while you're sleeping. Yeah,
so why not Ikia frames. The product is a small,
mindful ritual to help build better routines and improve sleep
quality rather than just another gadget. So put your phone
to bed and earn I guess vouchers while you do. Also,
they say seven hours a night is what you, as

(29:24):
a human really need to be at your best. So
I think these are great. These are a great gift
idea too. I don't have a price yet, I'll look
it up.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
But so there are beds for your cell phone.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
Yes, it's a little tiny bed. I would say. It
looks like it's about the size of like a journal,
you know, but it has a headboard. It's so cute.
All right. It's a talk back Tuesday here on the
Ellen Kate Morning Show, and we are going to make
a digital drawing at nine forty five and the winner,
a random winner, will get a four pack to our

(29:56):
coost private holiday party. Save the date, December fourth, Disney
California Adventure Park. We're also giving out four packs at
twenty after every hour, so those are coming up, but
why not leave a talkback? Everybody's entered to win. Celeste
left us this.

Speaker 10 (30:11):
I'm in a bit of trouble with my family right
now because it's something I posted. I was babysitting my
baby niece yesterday and she took her very first steps.
I got so excited that I grabbed my phone and
put the video on Instagram right away.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
My sister's furious and it cut her off, so we
know her sister's mad. She posted a magical moment before
the mommy could her sister? So have you ever had
any family flags on the play? This is a big one.
We have so many calls about you, Celeste. Let's go
to Beaumont, all right, Robert, what do you think about

(30:47):
what Celeste did? I?

Speaker 13 (30:50):
Yeah, I would be upset as well. I mean, that's
a very private moment, you know, for the parents to have,
but to put it out there on the world and
knowing that they're possibly going to see it. Yeah, she's
probably not going to be invited to Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yeah, yeah, you know. It's a big foul on the play.
Has it ever happened in your family where someone does
something so inappropriate that you just wonder what they were thinking.

Speaker 13 (31:16):
I can't think of a situation where it has. But
you know, I think I would be.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
Upset if I was a parent, for sure.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Do you have a baby?

Speaker 13 (31:24):
I do, But my baby is thirteen years old now.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
So do you remember his or her first steps?

Speaker 13 (31:30):
I do three other additional children. I remember each one
of them as well. And it was a very private moment.
And you know one thing that you don't want to miss, right, Yeah,
to put it out there is just yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Yeah, not good. My baby boy did his first steps
at Disney California Adventure Park. Well, we were actually at
the Grand Hotel and we were in that big lobby
area and there's a coffee table and my mother in
law is there, my father in law, a ton of
family around because we're all gathering there, meeting up. And
he was crawling. He pulled himself up on the coffee

(32:05):
table and he just started walking and we were all
so we all got to share the moment, the whole family.

Speaker 13 (32:11):
It was so fun, magical moment.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
For sure, I'll never forget it. We couldn't believe it. First,
there silence. He was Calvin was eleven months and first
there was silence, and then because We're like waiting, like
maybe it's just going to fall back down again, but
he kept going, so you know, and there's all the
big Christmas tree is there.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
So that's how I felt with this last Dodger game.
We all looked at each other like, wait, they won.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Slow reaction for sure, So keep your talkbacks coming. Also
more chances to win ten minutes away Coast.

Speaker 15 (33:12):
Disneyland loved it all.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Right, Michelle, you are injured. Everyone who leaves to talkback
is entered for our digital drawing nine forty five this
morning for a four pack to our coast private holiday party.
Oh right, well, Mike wicked too. It's Wicked for Good,
starring Cynthia Revo, Arianna Grande, Michelle Yo, Jeff Goldblum, and

(33:35):
People's Sexiest Man.

Speaker 2 (33:36):

Speaker 4 (33:37):
Jonathan Bailey, he was just name of that, and we
have a four pack of tickets to Wicked for Good.
If you saw the first one, this one picks up
where it left off, and I send you to an
advanced screen and it's a four pack. Call us now,
Color twenty gets it. Hi, good morning, you are Collar
Twenty's your name, Kelsey? Kelsey? Where are you calling from?

Speaker 3 (34:03):
I'm actually calling from my grandmother's home.

Speaker 12 (34:07):
I'm her caretaker.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
Okay. When I hear your name, I think of Travis Kelcey,
and he, of course is an investor now in six
Flags and he's designing rides. What I'm thinking is he
bought into six Flags because he wants to create Taylor
Wood like Dollywood. I think he wants to make Taylor
into the next theme park. You think I might be right, Kelsey,
I think you're right. Well, tell your grandma you got

(34:33):
a four pack of tickets to Wicket for Good. You're
going to see it before anyone else.

Speaker 9 (34:37):
Oh, thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
Coming up next to your top stories, the world's most
famous museum just got cock guarding its crown jewels with
the password that will make you face palm. We're going
to tell you the latest. I'm this security breach with
your top stories. Next on Coast One's upon a Time
fil mistakes Ago, I was in the site you got
me and to avoid trouble, Taylor Swift now spends eight

(35:13):
million dollars a year on security. She just bumped up
her six million dollar budget eight and there she is
on Coast one of three point five and the top
stories top of the hour. Good morning, I'm ellen k
and Waimo, the autonomous vehicle that you see everywhere in
West Hollywood parts of LA is gear enough to bring
its driverless robo taxi service to three major US cities

(35:36):
next year. San Diego gets Waymo, Detroit and Las Vegas.
The move marks a big expansion from Waymo's existing footprint,
which includes Phoenix, San Francisco, and of course here in
LA To begin commercial service in new locations, Waymo still
needs a regulatory clearance in Nevada and Michigan, so it
could be sometime and another year or so. And what

(35:57):
about this. In the aftermath of the Louver Crown jewel heist,
there's been a deep dive into the museum's security measures
and it wasn't good. The findings include documents showing access
to the museum's video surveillance server and other cybersecurity agencies.
Was loof That was their password for the loove. You
could have gotten into all kinds of systems just by

(36:17):
entering loof. Whoever controls the Loof's network can facilitate theft
of artworks and nothing was changed. This was flag ten
years ago, so now it's a reboot of all passwords
at that famous museum. And a comic found in an
attic could become the most valuable ever. A pristine copy
of the first Superman comic could fetch over six million

(36:37):
after three brothers found it stored in their late mother's home.
The incredible to find also under five valuable early copies
of Superman. Anyway, these comics that were discovered by these
boys between like dusty newspapers, were dusted off and the
color everything about them is perfect. So auctioneers say it
could fetch six million dollars kind of a gift from

(37:00):
and from their mommy. And we will have sunshine a
little bit later on highs around seventy five almost everywhere
right now it is sixty two in Burbank KOSG, Los Angeles,
Post one of three point five presented by Celsius Energy
