Speaker 2 (00:04):
On rocking it. It was you know, it was somehow
on my tour bus.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I know, how's it feeling here at Sanford Stadium.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's gonna be amazing. I mean, this is our second
time doing this, and I remember the first time, you know,
a lot of family members and friends bothered the hell
out of me and uh to get here, and they're
doing the same thing today, so uh texting, But I
got I bought. I went down to Tractor Supply. I
bought some cattle gates. I'm just gonna hurt them backstage,
like some cattle.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
We were looking the pit looks big. I wondered if
you guys were going to.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Sec Yeah, that's yeah. I think that's half al Dean,
half Brian, you know, and the.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Rest of us will just squeeze in the middle. It's
kind of like a wedding. You have to whose sight
are you on?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Luc oh yeah, yeah? And uh rid er groom. Yeah,
and there's a there's a fifty fifty chance of divorce
to no man. We're just excited to be here. I mean,
it's been a lot of talk to get to be
a part. I mean, you know, Jason and I are
huge Georgia Bulldog fans, and uh, just to play here

(01:06):
and watch the fans come in is gonna be really
really special. And you know, for he and I to
kind of get together and work on some some stuff
to where we can be on stage together and really
make some memories is pretty pretty good stuff too.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
So you're both gonna be on at the same time too, right, You're.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Gonna we're gonna enter weave. We got bands swapping in
and out. Hopefully things run flawlessly, but it's gonna be
a fun not I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
A precursor for like your Vegas shows that you guys
are gonna do when you're older.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Well you never know, ye, you never know. Don't get
too far ahead of us. Don't play my jerr at
your years yet ask him.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
You guys have this thing going.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
You get a number one, he gets a number one,
You get it's thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Two, and well, you know, hopefully we'll just piggyback till
we get to some number where we're you know, we're happy.
You know, I think I think that's we're true.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Happiness is just said you text him every time you
get a number one and say.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Well, you know I'm watching you know, it's you gotta
you know, you got to keep your eye on the competition.
You know, you got to know, you know, I'm like
a panther. You got to know when to pounce. But no,
I mean we we've had it. He and I've had
a great time as friends in this business and lifting
each other up. And you know, like we we we

(02:20):
we all of them, mine, mine and his heroes in
the business are pretty much the same. So the fact
that he and I have kind of got to be
in this business and we know there's some kids out
there that they've heard our music and it's it's it's
uh inspired them to go try to move to Nashville
and have you know, thirty plus something number one. So
we we relish in that and it's it's pretty amazing stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
So I want to Yeah, this is Jason's new album,
but you have a.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Song on here the title because Songs about Us, it's
the title track of the album because because I sing
on the album, I sing on this song. So he
says it has to be the title of the album.
And then I stated that, uh, my song is the
best one on there.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
It is one of the best. I will I will
say that.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
You don't sound too confident about that.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Hey, let's talk about your new single.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
That is the best one of all. And it's not
even it's so good it didn't even make Jason's album.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
It's so much fun though. I love playing it. It's great.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Well, it's fun. I think it says everything about a
big summer fun song and ready to see girls out
there with some line dances going on, and just watching
people dance and have fun at you know, when I'm
an actual guy on stage doing the concerts, watching people
have fun, it don't get much better than that.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
So I love it. It's gonna be we we actually
were talking at the station the other day. I think
it's gonna be the summer song that everybody's.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Just you going to make it that it's the power trying.
The power is in your hands.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I will do it for you.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
All right.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Well, I did a little quiz with Jason. I want
to see how good you can do? This is how
Georgia are you?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (03:55):
With Luke Bryan George back home? All right, So just
the first thing that comes to mind, what boiled item
do Georgian stop at roadside stands.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
To buy boil peanuts. Correct?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
What must every Georgian have in their tea?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Sugar?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Of course? What drink do people put peanuts in?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Well, Coca colas or there has been sunkiss tea. Really,
I've seen some.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Really, that's a new one for me.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
We really red neck people do that, like a really redneck.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
If you do sun kiss ah? What do people in
Georgia call soda? Any?

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Soda? Coke? Yep?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
What is a good side dish for breakfast, lunch or
dinner in the South?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
A good side dish for Oh gosh, I was going
to say. I was going to say turnip greens? Is
it green breakfast for breakfast?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Breakfast lunch?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Or grits?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Grits? Sorry, you didn't hear You didn't hear the question. Correct.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Out of all the listening, I didn't listen to you
on that one. All right.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
If you are at an eating establishment and you walk
in the door and they say what'll you have? Where
are you?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
That's waffle house? Correct?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Hang it, man, it is not what it is the Varsity.
Oh you're so close though, I.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Don't see Jason eats that unhealthy?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Stay said waffle house. Also did he did?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I think you too have the same brain. Also uh
and final question. If someone in the South says bless
your heart, what do they mean.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
That don't mean bless your heart. It means you're an idiot.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
All right, Luke Bryan, have fun tonight.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Do not fall. Oh I'm not, but I will be
in the pit if you need me to catch you.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Just give me a high sight, Just pick me up,
dustme off, and rev me back up.
