Speaker 1 (00:00):
Got a couple of minutes here with Fox News Radios
Jeffman also who had either horrible duty or envious enviable duty,
depending on your point of view, on the Florida the
Convention Center in Chicago, the Democratic National Convention all week Jeff,
good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, It's just say that people liked me a little
bit more in Milwaukee than than they did in Chicago.
But nonetheless, I had a job to do and it
was a fun It was a fun event. I did
talk to people who actually were willing to engage me
after I said, you know, Fox News, uh and and
others that you know throughout some some you know, vile

(00:40):
words towards me. But look, it was it was the
culmination of of the four days where we heard from
Kamala Harris last night accepting the Democratic presidential nomination. The
crowd inside the United Center electrified. We've heard that word joyful. Uh,
you know, the the party and the delegates to guests,

(01:02):
they were completely unified. And the DNC was a star
started event that began on Monday with Democrats essentially saying
thank you and goodbye to the president that they tossed
out Joe Biden. The theme last night for our future,
as as Harris laid out an agenda of a brighter

(01:22):
and more hopeful future that throughout the convention really focused
heavily on bashing former President Donald Trump, calling him dangerous,
you know, repeating the January sixth to find people the
suckers and losers falsehoods multiple times and saying, you know,
we're not going back, We're not going back to what.
So does this translate to, you know, for the people

(01:45):
watching at home outside of the United Center, going back
to what? Because you know, the president was the president
and people were doing doing better. All statistics point to
a better economy, a safer border, other thing. So you know,
while while we all the overall five of the d
n C was about joy, there was also hope for

(02:08):
many that Harris would finally get the details of that policy.
What exactly are you going to do to fix the economy,
the border, in the ongoing foreign wars? Over a month
since the presidential taken handoff, and that didn't happen. But
I got to tell you, I mean, I was talking
to some insiders last night and and I'm a policy

(02:28):
front and they do not want Harris to talk policy.
No interviews just to state a very well scripted course.
I well, we'll soon see how the DNC translates to
the average American outside the arena. But I was also
talking to polster Frank Luntz last night, and he called
the electricity inside the United Center a sugar high and

(02:51):
saying that the election is going to come down to
two things. The presidential debate next month, where she actually
perhaps does have to answer questions, real questions, hopefully, uh.
And it's going to come down to affordability. Every time
you go to that gas pump, or you're buying eggs
or meat, or you at the grocery store, it's just
a constant reminder of where we're at. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I know you have to run here, Jeff, but I
appreciate the duty. And I heard Sean Hannity say and
Laura Ingram say that they were called scum and bile
and all just because they were with Fox. So there's
your love and your join your unity right there.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
One quick thing, Jeff, based on what you've observed, Okay,
one of the criticisms of Kamala Harris is that she's
a little bit lazy. She doesn't do her homework. She's
going to be over prepared for this debate. She's going
to be stuffed with stuff for this debate. How do
you think that's going to go?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I don't know. I mean, she has she has a
track record in terms of speaking off the cup and look,
we'll see. There's there's plenty of time before the debate,
and I truthfully, I have no idea how it's how
it's how it's going to go, but I look forward
to it. I think, you know, as as as somebody
who's who's running for the position of leader of the

(04:07):
free world, I should be able to handle handle you know,
basic questions because there are a lot of people hurting, uh,
and and you know they they want a brighter future.
They want a future where that's affordable and and and
and that's that's safe. And you know, you got to
be able to answer those questions. And so uh, we'll see,

(04:30):
we'll see how well she does. But I think I
think that the d n C. I think that the party.
I think uh, Kamala Harris knows exactly how important it
is to get it right. And so we'll see. Great.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Jeff, thank you, Jeff Bonasso. Fox News Radio has been
there taking the incoming all week on the floor of
the convention there in Chicago. Jeff Bonasso, Fox News Radio
here on KABY This Morning News. Yeah, now, and now
today we're probably going to get the Jay RFKA Junior
announcement that he's suspending or ending his campaign. And the
question is is he going to go please vote for

(05:05):
Donald Trump because they don't want anything to do from
indication from his running mate that they don't want anything
to do with a Harris.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Presidency because they spent ten million dollars trying to keep
him off ballots.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah, and which would be remarkable just in terms of
the Kennedy legacy to have him endorsing the Republican We'll
see what happens today. He and Trump coincidentally are both
down in Arizona today RFPA Junior
