Getting started on the first full week of the new year,
and of course the old year was marked by celebration
unlike many down on Bourbon Street. And then the horrible
terrorist attack they killed fourteen and they also the car

blowing up outside the Trump Hotel in Vegas. And we're
joined for a few minutes this morning by Fox News
Radio is Jeff Monasso and at the latest on what's
going on, Jeff, Good morning, Anything anything brand new in
terms of nuggets of information, particularly in the New Orleans.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Case, I mean a couple of different things. Well, the
FBI continues to say that this terrorist aspect act alone.
They released some new information yesterday about his movements in
out of the country and the preparation that he took
before the attack. He traveled to Cairo, Egypt, back in
June and July, also a separate trip to Ontario, Canada.

In July. I visited Tampa, recently visited New Orleans in
October and November. Prior to these the deadly attack, he
also recorded video of Bourbon straight with those meta smart glasses.
According to the FBI, they actually released the video of it,
and in a press conference they said they're still trying

to piece together his movements, who he may have been
in contact with, also his travels, whether or not they
tie into the attack, and you know, but still saying
that evidence still supports that he acted alone, but they're
looking to see if he had any associates, either in
the US and overseas or totally was worrying those glasses,
those meta smart glasses during the attack, but that they

were not activated when he killed fourteen and injured dozens
of others, all inspired were told by ISIS. Yes, So
the investigation is ongoing. President Biden's going to be there
this afternoon for a prayer service. But one thing that
we're told by the FBI, the I E. D s

the bombs, homing bombs placed in those those coolers on
Bourbon Street. The FBI saying that he was you know,
basically that you know, he used the wrong materials. The
bombs later rendered safe, and that that's a good thing.
But that's what we have right now.

But the raw materials I read in one report, Jeff
were of the kind not used in the United States.
I don't know how much brassly there is to that,
but if that's true that in the case he had
foreign help.

I would I would say so too, but but you know,
they're they're still keeping that information close. They're they're saying
that you know, he you know, he didn't have access
to a detonator, so he used an electric match in
its place, and essentially that that that was where where
he went wrong as far as what was in those bombs.

You know, right, and I guess in the case of
of the Vegas incident, that was basically a suicide from
what we know now. Right then he just decided I'm
going to take some people out with me or something.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, wells Vegas PD, the FBI sin it appears that
this was ultimately a tragic case of suicide involving a
heavily decorated combat vet. It was struggling with PTSD in
the personal issues, but you know, they found strong evidence
that that links Matthew Lavelsberger to a conspiracy Leyden manifesto.
He allegedly penned an email to other intelligence officers that

one of those emails read on a Sean Ryan podcast
on Friday, in which you know, he accused the federal
government of working with China to develop so this he
was a special Forces guy who oversees drone So this
is this is his his technology, this is what he
was smart in technology and drones, and he's just that

China in the US working to develop and deploy a
mysterious or these these these drones that he called the
most dangerous threat to national security flying objects using gravity
manipulation technology. Uh, with the ability to evade technology. Of course,
conspiracy theorists are, you know, doing their thing. Government is

doing their thing by not telling us anymore. And here
we are.

Yeah, do we know, Jeff from his ratings and writings, Uh,
was that an attack? Did he intend that explosion to
be an attack on the hotel or on other people
who might be an obscenity?

No, it was well according to his writings, it was
not an attack. And I don't think that the investigators
now believe it was an attack, but they basically this
was to send a message, to get the word out, uh,
to tell the world what he what he's telling us, uh,
and to do it to go out with a bang
with fireworks, I believe in his own in his own writings,
so different situations from Las Vegas to to New Orleans.
