We've known each other for years. We live 18 miles apart. And we never see each other. Life gets in the way when you grow up. It gets harder and harder to hold onto those close relationships that you really value. We decided to start this podcast for us. We wanted to have something that both records our insane relationship and serves as a marker to make sure we continue to value it.
Covid has gotten even closer to home recently.
We're back (again)! The gap in our episodes, dear listeners, is explainable due to insanity of life. Listen on to hear why!
For the first time in over a year, we finally were able to get together to do a podcast TOGETHER!
Sarah reflected on her experience living through the Charlottesville riot in August 2017. (Throwback episode)
We got together at the end of 2020 to reflect on the year and see what we learned and what we hope to leave behind.
In the midst of Covid craziness, Sarah did a thing.
Unemployment is a rough experience no matter what your situation. Chris went through it recently, and we discussed the broader implications. (REPOSTED)
Sarah is considering running for office one day. (REPOSTED)
Chris recounts the incredible surprise of how Jerry proposed to him in the middle of the 2017 Capital Pride parade. (Reposted)
We're reposting some of our old episodes to re-share our favorites. New episodes every other Wednesday, throwback episodes in between!
It's Pride Month, and this year, with all the ups and downs 2020 has brought, continued the roller coaster this time. The Supreme Court finally ruled that LGBTQ+ people shouldn't be able to be fired for being who they are, just in time to celebrate Pride in the nation's capital. We talked about all this, and all that still needs to be done.

It's been a big few weeks. The death of George Floyd in Minneapolis has led a major reckoning around the work regarding the role of black people in modern society and the massive structural racist inequalities that are baked into our civilization. We talked about what's been happening and how our perspective and our understanding of our own obligations as privileged white people are to participate and support the coming reckoning o...

We've been friends for nearly 20 years and never see each other. We talk about why we decided to start a podcast, what we want to get out of it, and how Sarah tried to kill Chris with soy sauce.

We lost a giant recently. Tony Noce, longtime listener of the pod and a close friend and mentor of Chris, died on April 21, 2020. He succumbed to a long battle with stage 4 glioblastoma. We talked through our feelings about this loss and realized one more lesson that our good friend left for us, even in the end.
For those of you interested, Tony's friend request that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Frank S. N...
Coronavirus has been a big challenge for us all, and we finally managed to get together to talk about it.
Sarah is a big fan of the idea of ranked choice voting. We talked through it all and thought about what kind of a problem this could actually solve and what it could mean for today's political system.
Sarah's horse rode home last week: Senator Elizabeth Warren ended her presidential campaign. We had a little therapy session to discuss how Sarah is taking the loss, and where we go from here at this stage of this decade-long election cycle.
