Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hello, everybody, we are scrubbing in. Scrub is fixated on
herself right now.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
She missed her c.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
I uh, I saw myself in a mirror a few
minutes ago and was really alarmed. So you know, it's
just one of those days. But Jad, I'm just not
feeling it.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Oh you look, it's great to us.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah I don't.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, thank you guys. I'm like deep luteal right now. Days.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
It's interesting because I would say, what two mondays out
of every month here, you would be lutial correct based
on deep like deep in it?
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Does that mean sad?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Mad?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
What do you feel in deep blue?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Deal?
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Like just bad? Just yeah? Yeah? All right, Well you
look great, thank you, Cozy. Yes, that's what I'm going for.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
And you know, gray looks good on you.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I just had this discovery that I don't look good
in gray. Every time I wear gray, I'm like, and
I gravitate towards gray, but it doesn't like me.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So it's funny because you said that, I thought you
were pointing out that I have more gray hairs in
my head.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Oh no, well I can't. I have literally a cold
head of gray hair.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
No, gray is actually a very weird color too. I don't.
I'm realizing more and more that I don't like.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
It, but it I feel like it's flattering on you.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
That is so kind.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I don't feel that way, thank you. But I just
had this realization after I've been buying gray my whole life,
so it's been.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Quite the predicament.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Well, yeah, because I'm just looking at my wardrobe, going
gotta get rid of some things.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
You know, I wanted to buy or not buy. What
I wanted to do was Victoria Gear always talks about
the color theory. Color theory, and I'm like, how do
I find my color?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
You should go to the girl.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
That girl, I mean there, I guess there's guys.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
That do it, but there's multiple people.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
There's a human.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, it's just like color theory specialist.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Because when she posts about it, I'm like, wow, that
actually that color does make her look better.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
If you watch videos of people doing it, they hold
up it's it's really vulnerable because they like slick your
hair back, they put a white cape over you, and
you're not supposed to wear any makeup, so you're just
sitting there staring at yourself in the most vulnerable state.
It's like, you know when you get your hair done
and it's like post shampoo bowl and you're like, I've
never felt ugly.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yes, it seems to be like that.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
And then they hold up colors and if you watch
a video of it, it is crazy the way people's
faces and skin different.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, I need to get that done.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Great podcast content, great.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Cow or I love Lucy, I love Tanya.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Show Robbie after this and be like, can we go
get our what does it call?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
I imagine he won't care because he just wears black, gray,
and white, excuse.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Me, and beige.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah, that's true, That's what I'm saying. I don't think
he's gonna want to know what colors look best on
him because he knows.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
He just feels like a solo trip for me.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
But when I was like, what's your favorite color that
Robbie wears and he said beige?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
What's wrong with beige?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
I'm just saying he's not a color guy.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
No, but beige looks good on that skin tone.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Actually, he has a really nice skin tone, so I
bet I bet he would do well with most colors. Yeah,
and that's good for him, Thank you. We don't I
don't have the same privilege.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
That's such the same.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Speaking of Robbie Mark, happy Father's Day.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Oh aren't you nice? Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Did you have a nice Father's Day?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Well, it was overshadowed by my daughter graduated and we
had a graduation party yesterday on Father's Day, which was
fine with me. That's that's how it should be. I
don't need any of that.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Well, what better gift than your daughter getting our high
school diploma.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
It was glorious and my parents were there, and my
wife's parents were there, and my sister in law and
my niece and my nephew, and it was just and
we had, you know, a lot of people come to
this party.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
It was great. Yeah, really don't care. Huh no.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
And also nobody really cares about Father's Day. And that's fine.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
What that's not true.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
It is true. Father's Day is like, way way way
down the list. Like Mother's Day is one of the
top five holidays of the year. Father's days an afterthought,
and that's as it should be. Father's Day came many
years after Mother's Day. Mothers should be honored. Mothers create life,
they've brought this child.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Father, your sperm counts too.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, I don't think fathers should get nearly the credit
that mothers should get. Well, but you know it's great.
It was fine. I stopped my daughter. She's going to
go out shopping from the best gift you could give
me is to save your money and don't spend any
of it on me. How dumb is that?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Wells, I was the presence, but I think that it
should be as celebrated as Mother's Day.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
I don't agree with that.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Well, well, I think it also depends on the mother
of the father, right.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Right, exactly the mother or father that you are, I suppose.
I had a really emotional time talking to my dad
yesterday because they're in Serbia, so they weren't here, so
I was like facetiming with him, and he's just like
having this these like life epiphanies and really like talking
about his life in like the past tense in a
weird way, like he's like saying stuff about like you know,
(05:26):
when I look back on my I'm like, you're still
living that life, Like what are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
You know?
Speaker 1 (05:31):
But it made me like really emotional, and I was
like crying I just started like bawling, and I like
missed him a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
I know, when do you get to see him.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Like in a month another month?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, that's hard. Yeah, it's hard being away from our.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Parents official holiday. When nineteen fourteen in Father's Day nineteen
seventy two.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
That's the first time woman got something before men.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I just think I see it so, like, obviously I
love my mom and like I would so I want
to celebrate her every single day. But I feel like
I have such a special connection with my dad as well,
and also like Robbie's a dad and he's like to me,
Robbie is like mom and dad, like he is just
he is everything, you know what I mean, Like he's
literally everything. And so I believe fathers they should be celebrated.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I'm curious to see if this changes once you have a.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Kid, which I'm sure, but I think it would still
be like equal.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
It's not gonna be equal, but you should know that
going in.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
But this is good that you have these feelings now
so you can really celebrate the dads in your life.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's more about like doing
what they want to do. Like it's not like a
huge production you know what I mean, Like he just
wanted a barbecue.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Yeah right, great, yeah right, Whereas.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Like Mother's Day, it's you know, I need like all the.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Things when you are a mother.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, you'll need the red carpet later, that's right.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
What did you do for Robbie? We I got like
these shirts that said like best at ever, and so
we all like wore them in the morning, surprising with
the shirts on, and then decorated like the table just
like two picture frames with the kids and sunny, and
then we put like photos all around with like a
little banners. Happy Father's Day. That's kind of what we
(07:19):
did in the morning, made him breakfast and then we
celebrated with his dad and his family and just like
we literally barbecued the whole day noon to six.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Just like meat and treats and.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah, just like eats on eats on eats.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
How are you feeling during the day?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Horrible?
Speaker 1 (07:35):
I got accidentally so wasted on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
This is such a great follow up from our podcast
story Sober Curious No More Sober Curious last did four
day five days.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
It's such as it's such an interesting relationship that I
have with alcohol.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Really, So what'd you do.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Where'd you rage?
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's fun?
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah, but it was because like you know, they have
well you know how they have like mixed drinks where
it's like a premixed, So I was like, I want
the majority tequila and then just like a splash of
the pre mix so it's not so sugary, but it was.
I guess it was so delicious that it masked the tequila.
So I didn't realize I was basically just drinking tequila
(08:24):
and I was chugging them down. So I was so
not well when I went home on Saturday night, like
I didn't I fell asleep. I don't even I don't
even know if I brush my teeth, washed my face,
Like I was just yeah, whoa yeah, and I woke
up like I woke up Sunday feeling horrendous.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Yeah. So are you back to sober curious?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah? So now I'm back to being sober curious, and
I don't want to drink for at least a month.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
And she goes, We're going over to celebrate Father's Day,
so it's gonna be drinking and eating.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I'm like, well, don't drink.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
She's like, whoa hair of the dog.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I'll just get a glass of wine and hold on
to it.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah. So that's a little bit about my weekend. How
about yours.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Oh, I had a pretty fun, like chill weekend, you know.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I Friday, Ali and I played pickleball, which was hilarious.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I didn't do that. Yeah, okay, So Ali, I've.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Been wanting to play pickleball. I played in a tournament
and then I played with my sister in Arden. But
I've been like wanting to get into pickleball because it's
such a fun sport and it's such a good workout,
but you do have to have someone to play with.
And so Ali was saying that she wanted to get
into it, so she went and took a lesson, which
I thought was just so cute because pickleball is one
(09:38):
of those things where you can watch a YouTube video
about it and just learn the rules and it's quite straightforward.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
But anyways, it I was trying to explain to Tanya
and Sam that there's this term Ali and I actually use.
It's called sad cute, and it's where something's not necessarily sad,
but it makes you feel like, oh, it's not like sad,
like you don't feel sorry for them.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
It's just kind of like, oh, like the emoji with
like the eyes welling up.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah, yeah, that's like emotional.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
No no, no, the one that's like not smiling and
one that's like with the eyes that's that's sad cute.
So her taking the tennis lesson was sad.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Cue to me, tennis lesson is not I mean pickleball.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Sorry, pickleball lesson sad cute. Yeah, tennis lesson is valid
because it is hard.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
So anyways, she met some friends and.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
So they and then I got sad because she was like, yeah,
I hope they show up, and I was like, this
is just getting more sad by the minute. But they
did show up, and so we played two on two.
It was really fun, great workout. I'm wann I wouldn't
say it was a great battle in the sense that
there were a bunch of other people playing on the
(10:52):
courts around us and they were really good, and Ali goes,
what are they playing? And I was like, they're playing
pickleball just better.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
You guys didn't win. I'm assuming I won.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Oh every team I was on one.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Not true?
Speaker 4 (11:12):
No, not true.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
I don't know. There's gonna be times in your life
you didn't win.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
She likes to win.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Oh, I've lost before, but I wouldn't say off.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
The next time. You don't say that's the.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Key you lost ping pong tournaments.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I've lie loose sometimes, but
I beat Robbie every time.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
That night, that.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Rivalry runs deep.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, he was drenched in sweat and I was in
like heels.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
So yeah, we did that.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
And then Saturday, I had so much fun Saturday. So
that night or Ali and I went to the pool
at our gym that we go to. They have a
pool there which is so nice, and we laid out.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
And then it's so funny to me that you lay out.
What do you mean because I try to avoid the sun.
Like I don't lay out anymore. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
We're like made to like be in the sun. We're
not made to avoid the sun. I enjoyed being out,
like maybe not laying out, but we are made to
get sun.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah. I do enjoy Like when I'm in the and
we're in the studio too long, I enjoy to walk
outside and just like like have the sun hit my face. Yes,
but I'm not like putting on a bikini, tanning oil
and like basking in the sun.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I did it all weekend. So funny, I got to
this like layout raft thing. So it's like it's a
raft right right, It's called like a tanning raft. They've
really marketed in a way. That got me because you
can fill it up, but it's shallows, so you're in water,
so you're staying cold. It feels like you're laying in
the pool, but on a raft. Yeah, in your backyard.
(12:41):
So I did that too. But anyways, Saturday we went
and it was me, Taylor Banks, Kylie Alley, and my
friend Keano, which was such a random group of people.
But we went and got smash Burgers and then this
place called Heavy Handed. It's studio City, and they had
a dip cookies and cream dipped cone. Oh man, like
(13:03):
you know, a chocolate dipped cone from Dairy Queen. It
was that, but it was cookies and cream flavored.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
I don't think you understand how much I love a
dypt cone. No, I know, I don't think you understand.
So I didn't know they still existed because I used
to get them at McDonald's every once in a while
when I'm like feeling like when I get like the craving.
I like, would need to go and get the dipped
cone for mc donald's, but I think McDonald stopped dipping
them any men, So there what every McDonald's.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
I mean, sometimes ice cream machine's broken, but most McDonald's
do the dipped cone.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
So then I was like looking for it at a
dairy Queen and they stopped making them at the Dairy Queen.
That I there's no way that's like what they're known for.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
They did not stop making them.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
That's so funny because I had this conversation before, like
Pauline and Sophia, and they were like, you could just
go to dairy Queen and get a dip queen dipped cone.
I'm like, I don't think so queen a dip queen.
We love a dipped queen, but I love a dipped
cone more than anything. And the fact that they did
cookies and cream dipped cone is.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Like chocolate and vanilla swirls, soft serve dipped in cookies
and cream dip. And then they had chocolate, strawberry, and
butterscotch to dip, so you could choose any of those flavors.
It was insane, insane. So anyways, then we went back
to my house and we played games. We played code
names and fish Bowl and it was just such a fun,
(14:23):
wholesome night. And it was so fun to have different
people from like different parts of my friend group.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yes, so fun.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
It's the best ever.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
That's why we love to Taco Tuesday so much, because
it would just be like all different people coming together.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
And then yesterday I stayed at home, I did laundry,
laid out my tanning raft, went on a long walk,
walked to the Sportsman's Lodge. Wow, ten thousand Steps's well,
it's about eleven thousand dang.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
So it was really great, had a great night.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
If you guys want to know what my new pursuit is,
it's walking. I don't do enough of it. I rarely
do it. I walk to and fro, But I don't
like walk places.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Where do you go to and fro from?
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Like to work, fro market walk. I'm saying, like when
I park at work, like I walk up to like
my desk.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Okay, I'm just.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Like the.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
General motor skills.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
General necessity stairs. No I do not. I go down
the stairs at work. I go down the stairs at work,
But like I don't walk day to day I don't
walk my dog like I don't walk, and I realize
I'm missing a big chunk of opportunity in life to
a get some nice vitamin D with suns rain and
(15:40):
like my fabric cover cover. But also I'm just missing
out on this exercise that is so great.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Open up your health app on your phone. Let's compare
steps for a random day.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Where is your health app? Okay, little heart, little heart, yesterday,
it is going to be quite nothing, Okay, quite okay,
it's not even set up.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Yes, I don't think I have just set up.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
I think it's just there.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Do you have a steps free yesterday?
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Oh yeah, uh huh four hundred and fifty one steps yesterday.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Yeah, that's almost impossible.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
That means like a lot or nothing.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
It's like nothing.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
It's like I've had five hundred and seventy eight just
today so far.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah, that makes y'all know. Sorry, that's today, Yeah, sorry, Yesterday,
Sunday Day. Sorry, yesterday, two thousand, seven hundred and eighty seven.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
Okay, not great.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Becca eleven thousand, nine hundred and ninety eight.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
Thousand, two seventy seven.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
I think I win this one fifteen thousand, and seven
fifty nine.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Where'd you go?
Speaker 4 (16:46):
I hike every day with my dogs every day.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Walk no walking, so good for you, and I don't walk.
Speaker 4 (16:56):
Well, Clearly, two thousand steps is not much.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
I'm actually pressed by that because yeah, I did yesterday, but.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
That's good day of that you would do. But you
do like pilates every days.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Worked. I worked out on Saturday.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
This also assumes you have your phone on you when
you're doing walking.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, you have to have your phone on your Yeah,
I have this thing. It's attached my head.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
I try to give you it out.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Yeah. Yeah, actually that's at home half the day. So
to double everything, double the five thousand. So Saturday I
had four thousand, seven hundred steps.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Okay, i'd twelve thousand, but okay.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Is even less two thousand.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Aside from doing like a hike or doing something like that,
getting ten being dedicated to getting ten thousand steps is
like a commitment like it. I would say it takes
a good two hours for that walk.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Two hours for me to walk.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
I'm saying like if I do it all in one
because I go two and a half miles and then back.
So that's fine, about five miles.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Who's two hours a day?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
That's what I'm saying. I have it, But I'm like,
I don't know how people.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
I don't know how people have I do, I.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Don't know how people.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
We were talking about this, that these there are these
there are people on TikTok who say that they get
twenty thousand steps a day, and I'm like, if they
have jobs or kids.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
How maybe they have treadmill desks, like a desk out
work where they're just stepping.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
That feels unlikely, but maybe yeah, yeah, I don't know it.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
It's wild, but yeah, that's gonna be my new pursuit.
Maybe I'm not gonna get ten thousand start with ten
thousand a day, but maybe at least just get to
five thousand a day. The new fixation, that my new fixation,
my new hyperfixation.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
There is something else that you do that I wanted
to talk about, but we are going to take a
break and we will be right back, all right. So
(18:57):
I've realized something over the past. I really noticed it
last week, but I started really thinking about it, and
I asked Tanya about this, because if Tanya doesn't know something,
she'll text me and ask what is blah blah blah.
Instead of going straight to Google, she'll text me and go,
(19:19):
what is it?
Speaker 3 (19:20):
What does this mean? And I'm like a.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Word like.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
MLM, was like yeah, but instead of.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
Google, why wouldn't you google? What is multi?
Speaker 1 (19:31):
So I'll let me just explain.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
Ginger Chance on ontil the next morning that.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
No, the reason why I come to you for such
things is because I usually see it. It's something that
I see in the scrubbing and Facebook group or something
podcast related.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
It's not something I like that I didn't even know
about that.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
But if I'm seeing it in the Facebook group, I
thought maybe you would see it, and that you might
not you might know. I thought maybe it was like
some slang term like I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
But I asked Tonya. I was like, do you do
this to anybody else? Like does Robbie get like do
you ask Robby these things? And she's like, no, it's
just you.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Literally, it's just you. But then Sam pointed out to
me that I do it at work too.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Oh okay, so it's not just me then, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
But at work. I think the reason why I do
it with Sam is because, like I'll be engaging in
the show and I can't like read Google stats or whatever.
So I'll slack Sam because I know she just knows everything,
and I'll be like, hey, can you confirm she only
has like two daughters or whatever?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Right, but when you ask me, you're just sitting on.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Your plenty of time to check.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
I appreciate you not googling things during the show because
that's annoying.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Right, But if you're just home, I don't know that
you need to bother back. Do you want to know?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
It's so weird though, like this is my brain, Okay,
So I'll read this whole Facebook group about this MLM
trying to.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Already got on.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
The phone right in front of her.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
And I'm reading all all this stuff and I'm like,
what is an l L MLM? And I'm reading through
the comments and I'll set fire off a text to Becca,
continue reading the threads of like everybody that's responding, and
then obviously Becca's still asleep, not responding to me. So
I just put my phone down and I go back
to and I just like rest, I don't even google it,
Like it's like I think it for one second, I
(21:20):
asked Becca, and then I move on with my day.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
But I annoying for Becca living her life. She's just
out whatever.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
I'm just a sleep.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
When I don't answer, it's like two pm.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Could she wakes up?
Speaker 4 (21:39):
She could.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
You could be with a friend's sitting and not wanting to.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Just in bed on a Sunday morning, just relaxing. Could
be any number of things.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
It was early. I think I said it early.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I felt I feel confident that you were a.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
But so then I I post that I'm this is
actually funny. So I post a photo, a mirror photo
of me which I post all the time, showing my outfit, hair, whatever,
it's like in the same spot in my bathroom. And
I just said, like dinner fit or something. Tanya goes,
where are you going? Who are you going with? And
(22:19):
then Alie texts me where are you going? And I
say Bestia and she goes, who are you going with?
And I'm like, oh my god. So then I don't
see Tania. So then I get a text from Tanya
and it says, who are you at best deal with?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
She had checked my location. God, I've been recent. I
tried to watch Baby Reindeer, but I got it got
too dark. But I was like there were some misspellings
in here. This is Martha.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
And then she goes, how does it feel to be
so loved?
Speaker 3 (23:00):
This does not equal love to me.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
By the way, that is what talker saying.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
How does it feel to be so loved by a
friend that they just want to know where you're going
and who you're going with on a Friday night? Yeah,
that's so nice.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Yeah, no, I guess it doesn't. That doesn't equal love
for me.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Well, after she didn't respond for a while, I was like,
I have her, I have her location, let's see where
she is, so.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Then you think, okay, she's at best of you.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
And I was like, yeah, I'm talking to Ali about it.
I'm like both of you were like who are you with?
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Where are you going? And She's like yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
And then Tanya texted me I think to just see
if if you were with me.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Y'all are all so unhinged.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
It's so nice, And and then Banks goes, I literally
was going to text you and ask where we were
going or who you were with, but I held back,
and Ashley goes, Becca, is this exhausting for you? And
I was like, you know, it feels I'm glad that
my friends care about me. I was like, yeah, Tanya
did hit me with a d M and text, which
(24:19):
that was a little aggressive for me.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
So yeah, so would you answered, But it didn't come
in a place of love.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Who are you a best you with? Doesn't sound like loving?
That sounds like I need.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
To know you know what it makes me feel.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
No more reasons are jealousy. Reasons are something It doesn't
sound like. I hope you're having a I see your
at best you. I hope you're having a great time
Like that sounds like it's coming from okay the.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
I would like to go back.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
I don't think she needs to let me know she's
seen me that that could.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Get your took a level too far.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
No, you cannot take.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Me off my friends. I actually would like us to
move to Life three sixty notes because that shows me
like where when you're driving, how fast you looking a
little lower? Your phone battery is dying charge.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I literally have full body chills and the worst I
think about this.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Oh my gosh, Really though, Live three sixty would be.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Like you're on thin ice with the fight my friends.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Right, well, if I.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
Said the only thing I want for my birthday in
the whole wide world.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
You're not getting your birthday wishes.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
You turn back up to follow me, follow you on
the thing, took your way of privileges. Okay, it's fine.
So now I know that freaked you out, and I
will take that as a lesson and moving forward, I
will keep that to my son. I will respect your privacy.
(26:03):
But no, I keep following you, friend, but I'll keep it.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
To my saying.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I mean, the whole reason of Find my Friends is
so that you if you're like, where's Mecca, Oh, I'll
just check the app because she gave me access to that.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, And I was like, oh my gosh, BESSI yet
that's Robbie's favorite restaurant, Like maybe I can come join you, like, you.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Know, but if I wanted that, I would have asked you,
you know.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah. I just didn't get a response for like many
many hours. So I was like, that ship has sailed.
It was my pajama's watching Survivor.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
I understand why that's his favorite restaurant. My first time there. Yeah,
it's such a cool vibe, so fun. Yeah. So yeah,
I did try to start a baby Reindeer.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
A little too dark for me personally.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Way too dark for I think it's episode four.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah, that was it. I think I was done after
that one.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, I didn't finish either. I don't even know how
to ends.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
What are you watching right now? Any news shows?
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Okay? So glad you asked. There's actually two seasons of
Love Island happening at the exact same time right now,
Love Island UKH and Love Island USA.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
I thought you don't like USA, so I don't.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Yes, actually I don't know about USA. I don't know
because I've never watched one. I've watched one episode. Can
you check on that for me? Thank you? Okay, So
I don't like USA right However, I've been watching Love
Island UK this season, and I no, I cannot connect
to any character on the show right now. Like I
(27:29):
don't hate any of them, but I'm not in love
with any of them. And I'm usually like so in
love with a handful by now.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
I love how you call them characters like literally just people.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
So I'm concerned about this season. So I posted this
on Instagram, and I had a slew of messages of
people saying that they felt the exact same way, and
actually that this season of USA is way better. So
I think I'm gonna I think I'm gonna jump ship,
dip my toe into Love Island USA.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
The sixth season premiere two and eleventh new episodes drop
every day for the rest of the week at six pm.
New episodes waste Thursdays through Tuesdays, giving viewers a break
on Wednesdays.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Only one day off.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
One day off.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
That's glorious.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
That's a lot.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Yeah, it's a lot. Okay. So I know that there
are a lot of Love Island fans out there in
the universe, and I think I'm going to give USA
a shot this season.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
All right, stay tuned for updates. You're on scrubbing in?
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yeah, probably not on talks to herself? Yeah about but wow.
And there's a guy from Trader's UK season two that
is on Love Island USA this season. Who say his
name is Aaron? Aaron or Alex something with an A.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
He was on the Celebrity No oh.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Yeah season two and now he's on Love Island USA.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Nothing.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Who won because Haley just finished it?
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Yeah yeah, then cried, I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Okay, remember last week when we were talking about how
hard it would be, we were talking about Glenn Powell
and how he was saying he would have to date
someone who really understood his dynamics with co stars or whatever.
So the uh stars of Bridgerton season three, Nicola Coglin
and Luke Newton are lovers on the show and they've
(29:29):
been doing all the press together and they're like holding hand.
You can tell they're really close. But he has a girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Correct?
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Does she have a boyfriend? Do we know this?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Or she?
Speaker 4 (29:39):
She is single? Now?
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Okay, she's single.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
So I was like, I just it would be so
hard and I'm so curious how I would love to
talk to his girlfriend about this.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
So I think I think I have a theory because
you know how Glenn Powell and Sidney Sweeney did this
when their movie was coming out. It's for PR, It's
for PR.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
So do you think he just tells her like, hey.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Hey, babe, nothing, we got to get the ratings up
for this season. I'm gonna like do a little hand holding.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Or whatever they do a little handy.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
Yeah, little handy, But I got you, there's nothing going
on there. We're just like really doing it for the show.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Would that work for you? No?
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Con would work No, I'd be like, let me show
you the door. Yeah, I would know you want it.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
There's no way I could handle that. But you kind
of have to handle that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and how
how is it?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I haven't had to handle that, but I I do
think if Haley had a conversation was like, hey, this
is for pr we have to sell this romance to
the public, and you're safe. Come come with us, like
you can watch be a part of everything, you know,
I'd feel safer.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
But I don't think i'd like the fan edits and stuff.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
That would be hard.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
Yeah, just scrolling endlessly to like your partner.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
I wasn't even thinking about so you know how we
had Shannon Beverage on the show. Yeah, I was thinking
about how she will always be attached to.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Fletcher and how no matter who.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
She dates, there will always be those people.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Who stand her and Fletcher.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Yeah, and that'll just forever be a part of it forever. Damn.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
I know you know who else we stand?
Speaker 3 (31:24):
The Rodent boyfriends.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
No, yeah, we can talk about that, but Jason Tarctic
and his girlfriend their.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Official yeah Instagram official. Okay, she met the family this weekend.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
I saw that. Did anybody listen? Oh, you were in
the room.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Ethan I did listen.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Yes, do you remember when Jason Tarctic came on and
I asked him about this said relationship, and he said,
I want to keep a private but the minute it's not,
i'll come here. You'll be the first to know. Do
you remember that.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
I remember him like all but confirming.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
It right, but saying like it'll be here that I
do it.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
I don't remember that specifically his own podcast and he's
going to break the news on scrubbing in. Why would
he say that because he's nice and he's charming and
he's like, I know what will make Donya so happy.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Well I saw the news break and I'm like, this
is not scrubbing in, Broya.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
I just kills me that you this is sound cute.
This is getting sud cute. That like Camilla said, let's
watch Grays together, and you she did.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
She did say let's watch it together.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
It's like whying out never.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
But why say it? Like you can be nice and
be like it was so lovely to meet. You think
you have a nice day.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Well I think you kind of go like we should
watch Grace together and she's like, I don't know how to.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
I don't think I do that Okay, so nobody remembers
Jason Tartik saying that just me?
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Well either way, he they had been dating.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I think for a minute when you even did that interview,
I feel correct because like if she's already met the family,
feels like they've been together for a while, right.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yeah. But you know what's really cute is they posted
this video of them like talking about the post, like
the caption, like all that stuff. Did you and Haley
ever like do that when you guys before you did
you remember your first post when you like made it public?
You remember it exactly?
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Did you guys do a joint a joint post? No?
Speaker 3 (33:39):
I think I just did. It's just me.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Thank you so much? An independent woman, that's right.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
No.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
I had made a video, the video collage of us,
and just because her music video was gonna come out,
and so I kind of was like, I guess we're
gonna we're gonna be going public at some point around this.
And so the night after the the music video went up,
I just launched it. And my captain was like, I
(34:09):
don't know if it's a hard launch or a soft launch,
but it's a launch.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
And how long did they take you to think that
it was pretty quick? Really? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:18):
I didn't overthink it.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
You go to your friends and have them come up
with ideas.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
Or brainstorming meetings.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
No, no, no, I'm pretty I'm pretty confident in my
like social media and stuff, you know. But I did
like some of their options. I loved cats out of
the bag.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
I know that one was so cl What did they
end up going with.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
I think it just said happy or something.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
Oh yeah, she makes me? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (34:45):
What was it like, I'm so happy?
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Oh no? The caption was hardest full, Oh, hardest full. Yeah,
I feel like not so clever.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
That's sweet and simple. Okay.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
They wanted to take a funny approach and then they
were like, let's just be.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Like he seems more like serious and straight to the point,
and he's more like selling goofy to me, which he
made a call. He said a comment like I'm gonna
have to like up my game or something.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah, we don't have two jokesters.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Yeah no, no, no, no, no, no, no no. Who's the
jokester of you and Robbie?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Robbie me.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Tany's funny, but she's not a jokester. I'm not jokes,
I would say, Robbie.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah, I agree. Yeah, this goes back to Tanya is
so funny, but it's not it's not intentional. She's just funny,
but Robbie's more like an intentionally funny.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
It's like it's a humor. Actually, yeah, a.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Lot of times you are.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Like, for instance, the video we did last week where
we all planned to point at you for everything so rude.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
The fact that I didn't catch off, it's like, actually really
said why you're funny? That was sad, Like I was like,
how did I not realize this two seconds in?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yeah, like when they said there was a few that
felt so obvious. But then you just started braining like
not me, most likely to break someone's not me? You
were shocked. But also someone said something really funny because
it was like who's most likely to get pregnant a
(36:31):
one night's stand? And like I would be the only
person and I'm dating a woman, so like it just
was so funny that you acted shocked that you would be.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
The one because you literally were the only one.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
You have a little discussion little pow wow while I
went to the bathroom. Yeah, so how did not go
to the bathroom? You would not have played text them before.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Yeah, just kind of go over the details.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, yeah, it was just a little a little bonus.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yeah. I was like, I'm never going to the bathroom again.
Ut is in here?
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
So, so there's a thing that's a hot rodent boyfriend
and it's hot Rodent Summer, and you brought this to
my attention, So can you inform the people of what
this is?
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Take a break before we get to.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
All right, we are Tony Goes. You've really never heard
of hot road and boyfriend. I'm like, I was just
trying to give you a moment.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah yeah, so Shine.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Okay, So the hot rodent boyfriend is the celebrities that
are considered to be hot but they vaguely resemble rodents.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
So give us some examples.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
So example, Jeremy Allen White, you may know him from
the Bear Hot Rodent Boyfriend. Okay, So I want to
say it's like there are characteristics that are usually kind
of like sharp features, sharp nose, sunken in eyes a
little bit and chee cheek bones and then maybe like
some rascally hair, so very Keyogan another hot and boyfriend. Okay, Okay,
(38:34):
so you may know him from Saltburn or Sabrina Carpenter's
boyfriend Timothy Shallome another hot road and boyfriend. Get it, Yes,
Mattie Healy, which.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
By the way, sounds like we're insulting them, but they're
like the hottest guys in the world right now, we're yes.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Okay, So rodent handsome men are usually more smelt than muscular,
more pinched angular features. They're off been not conventionally handsome,
but this makes them more hot.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
M okay. So I brought this up in Tahoe.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
But there's this other thing on TikTok that says you're
everyone's either a rat or a.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Frog, and it really makes sense.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Really.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Yeah, I'm a frog.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
I think I'm a frog.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
You're a frog?
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
I think we're all frogs?
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Are we?
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I think it's a frog frog brought us together?
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Yeah, Robby is a rat.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Robbie is a Taylor Swift rat. Yeah, and neither's neither
of them sound great, but if you see once, you
see it, you see it, Yeah, and you can name them.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Just Haley's a frog frog? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Who else can we go through?
Speaker 3 (39:50):
Alison frog.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
Animal? Guess he's a frog like.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Jennifer Lopez frog Ben affleck.
Speaker 4 (40:05):
Is it facial features?
Speaker 1 (40:06):
Yes, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
It's just something because I get.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
It with Timmy the ones you just rat.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
So like with ratten frog, you either like get it
or you don't. Do you know what I mean? Like,
it's just like people to me are hybrids. No, I've
never even looked glance at a hybrid.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Robbie said I was a cat, and I said that's
not it's an option, thank you, though I do appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
That's Kayla, Mikayla. Did she hear us? What is she?
She can't hear us? Are you a rat? Is she
a rater of frog? She can't hear? See? Is she
a rater of frog? So that's why better she can't
hear it?
Speaker 1 (40:46):
I think she's a frog.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
I think frog frog?
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
What about our other friend over here?
Speaker 3 (40:51):
Is that Sammy?
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Please?
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Rather a frog?
Speaker 3 (40:57):
Sammy's rat?
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:59):
Real rat. I don't understand this. I thought I knew
it when when you gave me Jeremy on and White
and Timothy Shallman was like, I get it. They look
like rodents, but Samy does not look like.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
It's too separate. Sorry, it's a rat or frogs? I'm
going to go through, like.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
So rodent boyfriends is different, Yes, but all.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Those guys would be rats naturally.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
Okay, okay, hold on, let me do another example. So,
Brita Carpenter, Oh, frog, Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
Rat, rat, rat?
Speaker 1 (41:32):
How do you get it?
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Very comfortable? What is the what is what makes someone
a rat or a frog?
Speaker 3 (41:41):
I don't know. You you just see it?
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yeah, you just see it.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
How else do you have a list of rat or frogs?
Speaker 1 (41:48):
What about a worm? That's not the option. It's I'm
trying to find like.
Speaker 5 (41:57):
Other people, I see BuzzFeed saying it's either rat or frog?
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Pretty, which I pretty prettier frog.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
Yeah, it's Richie frog. Interesting. So I was thinking rat
interesting interesting?
Speaker 4 (42:11):
Not really, it may not be interesting. I'm wondering if
it's not. I can't find it interesting if I don't
understand it.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
Well, Buck explained it to me, and I just understood it,
so I know.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
So I guess you either understand it or you don't.
I don't think it's just a want to take She's
not one.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
It's like a look thing. I think I get it. Yeah,
I think I'm like a rat kind.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
Of Oh she thinks you think rat.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
I mean, I guess I I have a round face.
But I would think maybe is.
Speaker 4 (42:43):
That it is the angle of the shape of your face.
I don't think that's what I'm trying to establish the criteria.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
It's like in essence then, because it's not a rat
or frog essence, it's just rat or frog.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
And you said.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Yourself, you said I'm a frog, so you get it
to an extent.
Speaker 4 (43:04):
I think I thought it was because I have a
rounder face.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
You know, rounder versus like like skinning.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
I thought I was a frog. I don't look like
jeremyll and white and Tamoy shallow. So therefore, by process
of elimination, right, you're there like easter and I could
see rat.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
I could see rat with east two because you have
a lit your face is like not so round?
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Would that be if I was a rat? Would that
be better? Would that be better for anyone?
Speaker 1 (43:28):
I mean they're both kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
But everyone is that. Everyone's one or the other and great?
Speaker 3 (43:34):
Yeah, all are great? Did you say neither is great?
Speaker 2 (43:39):
All are great?
Speaker 4 (43:40):
All are great?
Speaker 5 (43:40):
You love all rats and all frogs?
Speaker 3 (43:43):
Yeah, we're like one like Zendia.
Speaker 5 (43:48):
N Dance seems like a like a jellyfish to me.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
Oh my god, nobody understand that maybe it's a girl
thing that girls get it, and.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Jellyfish is not an option because Rob say cat, I'm like,
that's not an option.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Wow, this is inter this enters a new dimension. Is
it just something that.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Men are from Mars, men are from Venus? That just
sums it up right there.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
But anyways, the rodent boyfriend is not a rude thing.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
It is the girls are into it.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
It's what It's like, My gosh, everyone's going fair all
over it right now.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Yeah, not everyone like me, but right others others.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
When I say everyone, I mean like the collective, the
general public.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Yes, yeah, Joe Allen has broken his silence.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Yeah, so boring to me. Yeah, but like.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
What is he supposed to do?
Speaker 1 (44:46):
There's a part of me that wishes Joe Alwyn just
spoke so much, Like I just wish he was like
on Twitter tweeting. I wish he was on in social
media doing Q and a's like I wish, you know
what I'm saying, Like, there's a part of me that
just like wish that he spoke more.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
But she hasn't really talked about Joe.
Speaker 1 (45:05):
I know, but she has her music, I know.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
But even most of which was like it was about.
Speaker 1 (45:10):
Mattie No, I know, I know, but there are some
of that where about Joe.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
Yeah, but she's never publicly said so it was all
just speculations.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
But that's what I'm saying. If he were like in
social media and doing cusas like.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
Yeah, but I'm sure if he was a musician, he'd
probably have if he was a lyrical genius slash musician, that.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
He gave had a little bit of genius in it
because he said, uh, what did he say, the loving
committed six year relationship? You know? He said that because
he just wanted to like debunk all the rumors.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
Were there rumors about that, Yeah, that he wasn't faithful.
Oh I didn't even know that. Yeah, well he said
what he said.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
He said what he said without saying much at all,
exactly as I'm saying. He might be a like wordsmith.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
I mean, he did write Exile correct.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
And other songs too, I know, but nothing though.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
Yeah, it's just yeah, legendary, it was legendary.
Speaker 1 (46:05):
I think we should come back with an email.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
All right, we're here, let's stay right here.
Speaker 3 (46:10):
My email last.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
Time, I didn't want to go. Now you don't want
me to leave.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
It's mixed, some mixed feelings. Mark, it's giving our frog,
all right, take it away, all.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Right, Becka, thank you very much. I come to you
as a loyal listener since the podcast inception. That's very nice.
Needing guidance through this dilemma. I met a guy eight
years ago. We immediately hit it off and began progressing
towards a relationship. I didn't have any relationship experience. This
freaked me out and I ended things throughout the next year.
We tried rekindling a couple of times, but it never
worked out. We've did good friends. I knew every detail
(46:43):
about his life, including every girl he's dated. He loves
my family to the point where he makes jokes about
them adopting him, and they're all convinced we'll end up together. Lately,
I've been feeling like my family might be right. We've
grown a lot since we were twenty two, and I
feel like maybe the timing was just off. However, he
recently met a girl and is convinced she is the one.
(47:04):
We're going to a football game together in a couple
of months, and I was waiting to feel out the
vibes in person, but now I am panicking above all else.
I don't want to completely ruin our friendship if he
doesn't feel remotely the same way, but I feel like
he might if I just spoke up. Help, what do
I do?
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
If he's dating someone new and he feels like she's
the one, you're if you feel like you need to
say something, then I think you take the risk of
ruining the friendship.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
I would have said to do the same. However, the
fact that he's dating someone and he thinks that she's
the one, I feel like it's not nice karma, like
maybe the ship has sailed.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
I know.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
It's just one of those things though, where if she
feels that he might feel the same way and he
just didn't know that she had those feelings, wouldn't you
rather get it off your chest before they.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
Get married or something.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
It feels like it's a new thing, So if they
have a time together to just be like.
Speaker 1 (48:07):
I just I don't know, I don't know, I'm I know,
I know because.
Speaker 2 (48:10):
I'm with you. Part of me is like, just let
it be. You didn't you didn't speak up and he's
moved on.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Like be a girl's girl, and like, don't intrude on
this new relationship. That's like where my head I know.
Speaker 2 (48:20):
But my thought is she can confess her feelings. And
if he's like, I really appreciate you saying that, I'm
really into the skry. I do think she's the one,
and you've gotten off your chest, then I think you
can close that door it with and he lock a
y slight it so in the motion, and and just
take some space to not be friends for the time being,
(48:44):
and maybe you know the natural friendship will come up and.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
You'll you'll have moved on, because I don't think you could.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
If you have feelings where you think you're the you're
gonna end up with this person, how do you have
a friendship with them while they're dating someone else.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
You don't, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (49:01):
So it's either just confess your feelings. If you think
he might feel the same way, you don't know. I
think this ship has sailed. That's sad, but I think
it has sailed.
Speaker 4 (49:10):
I don't think you can do that because yes, you
will get closure, but at what cost. You're gonna drop
a hand grenade into their relationship, so you can get closure.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
But now she's gonna be best still try to be
best friends with him without confessing her feelings.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
Or you're not going to be You're not going to
be the minute's somebody. Yeah. When they get into a relationship.
Speaker 4 (49:26):
That just falls, it just falls, it just falls off.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
Yeah, she just needs to say I missed my mark.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
If it's meant to be, he'll come back around me.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
I don't like that though, because if it comes at
the thought of one drunken night they both are like
I love you and he's like I love you, why
don't you say anything, then it's horrible for the other girl.
Speaker 4 (49:48):
But her confessing her feelings would also be horrible for
the other girl.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
No, it's not because if he doesn't feel the same.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
Way, I think it would be bad. I think that
would be I think I don't think you would like
it if somebody from Haley's past a friend. Yeah, Durrance,
And by the way, I've been in love with you for.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Since day one.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
I've been you are not hanging out with this person anymore. Absolutely, Yeah,
So that's what I'm saying. No, but I'm saying I
did have a visceral reaction to that. I know, but
I'm saying because my first thing was you take a
risk and ruin the friendship.
Speaker 4 (50:20):
But but it's not respectful to the person.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
He's correct, I mean too, I'm about ruining the relation
or ruining the friendship, ruin all the friendships.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
If Hailey was like, I appreciate you telling me that,
but we can't be friends anymore, and I'm in love
with Becca, like I'm not doing anything, then what do
I have to be mad about?
Speaker 3 (50:37):
I think you would, Haley.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
I think Haley, you're mad at.
Speaker 3 (50:43):
Two Here's that's not my friend.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
Yeah, but it adds a layer of not nice.
Speaker 4 (50:47):
And jealousy and suspicion and weirdness, because if that person
even exists in your world in any way, you're gonna
you're not gonna want them around. There's gonna be a lot.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Of weird I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (50:57):
If I watched them flirt and they're like, well they're
there's nothing here, there's no feelings. If they say friends
and she this other girl comes around and I eventually
find out the feelings, I'm gonna.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
Be mad either way.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
I'd I'd rather be like confessed and me deal with
it than like always assume like did they have a thing.
They're kind of flirty, what's going on here?
Speaker 4 (51:18):
And he can say, no, we never had a thing
because they never did, or did they?
Speaker 2 (51:23):
And then one night it sounds like.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
That a little minithing. Yeah, but anything I like on
this tiebreaker, it's not really.
Speaker 1 (51:33):
A tie because it's like two ones.
Speaker 5 (51:36):
But I mean, I don't think I don't think she
should say anything because she says like he recently made
a girling. It's convinced she's the one. I just think
the likelihood of him being like, I'm with this new girl,
she's the one. Oh wait, friend, actually you're the one,
you know. I just feel like he's I think he's
made up his mind. This is gonna. I just I
(51:57):
think you need to distance yourself from him. If you're
having feelings.
Speaker 4 (52:00):
And it's not your guy, and that's okay, Yeah there's
other If it was your guy, this would have happened,
and it didn't happen for whatever reason.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
I just don't think you need to be friends with them, period, period.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
You're not gonna have a choice about that anyway.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
It's all over.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Yeah, it's tough. It's tough.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
Now you find he finds himself single six months because.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
We all know if the girl sees him as.
Speaker 1 (52:22):
The correct.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
There's something.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Okay, Okay, so if it's meant to be, maybe it
won't work out with this girl and then you have
your chance.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
But for now he.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Feels like bad dating karma that you just don't want.
You know, no one needs bad dating karma.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
Yeah, you're right. One time this girl confessed that she
like Taylor and I got yeah, exactly, Okay, Okay, Hey guys,
sometimes you know, out talk out. I just had this
vision of like April and Jackson at the wedding when he.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Was gonna mar she was gonna marry math.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
You know, I'm like, how selfish to wait until this
point to say it.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
That's also television. I'm just saying, these are real people,
these are real characters.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
Yeah, these are characters, These real characters. Okay.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
So we were supposed to have an episode this Thursday,
but our guest has fallen ill.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Yeah it's okay.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
We had my co mo, your co mo coming into
the studio, Paulina, but she fell ill over the weekend, so.
Speaker 4 (53:36):
We could have played who knows Tanya best for like
Supreme Maid of honor.
Speaker 1 (53:42):
Well, Ben, I don't even know if I know myself best,
Like what kind of questions are like right, like what's
my favorite color? To where to see like some good questions.
Speaker 3 (53:53):
Well it's still coming great. Yeah, all the time in
the world.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
We're going to get our back, like she's gonna be on.
We just don't know when.
Speaker 2 (53:59):
Yeah, So we will don't have a Thursday episode, but
we will be back next Monday, and then next Thursday
we will be having.
Speaker 1 (54:05):
Their birds by.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
A very requested Oh Sarah Nicole Landry. She's a very
requested guest from the Scrubbers for a long time. She
and Tony were both Swim Swim Week models together and
she's coming in studio, so we're very excited for that.
So I hope you all have a wonderful week. We
love you so much and we'll be back Monday.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
Love you bye,
