Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
we are scrubbing in that we are.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
In the o R.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
WHOA long to come with that one?
Speaker 1 (00:22):
That's what happens, baby, give me a little time in
the sand.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah. Yeah, how was the trip? Let me tell you
it looked incredible.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I also want to shout out the Waldorf Astoria Los
Cabos Petrogal because they really took such good care of us.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yeah. I felt like ya were royalty.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I felt like we were royalty like, and then ending
it with like our you know, I love a bathroom
with my new name on it.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
I was just really like I actually like texted my
in laws because they're asking us how to trip was.
I was like, I literally feel like they're treating us
like royalty.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yeah, it felt that way via your stories.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, it was too short, but nonetheless very much needed.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah, a great trip, A really great trip.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
We read our vowels to each other and cried again,
not sobbed like I made it through, but like definitely
we both had tears.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yeah that's sweet. Yeah that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
You loved your vowels, that your bewls were.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
So emotional, but like so you they were so funny.
You were so funny delivering them, but it was also
so emotional. It was it had all the things that
you want.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
I wanted to make them like a little bit funny. Yeah,
you know, I didn't want to be like so serious.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
Right, because that's not you correct.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, So happy, happy one year anniversary, y'all? Did it?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Did it?
Speaker 4 (01:51):
How about your what's your takeaway from one year of marriage?
Speaker 1 (01:56):
It feels like every other year in the relationship, but
like to honest, it did feel it felt more special.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, it does.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
I think right after you get married you have this
like feeling of like the relationships on another step, like
another level, and that's just like a nice feeling all
in all. Day to day it's the same.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Okay, Yeah, thank you for that, beautiful, beautiful words forward
to Yeah, thank you. I can't wait for it to
feel like every other day every other year. Yeah. Yeah.
We went to a wedding this past weekend and it
was in Palm Spring. It was in the desert in
Palm Springs, and it was incredible. It was at this
(02:37):
estate and so a bunch of the wedding party and
family stayed at the house and they had been there.
They had like multiple pools. It was insane. And at
the reception they had a drag show and I've never
been to a drag show. So it was two grooms at.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
The reception, so like after the ceremony, Yeah, so we
instead of their dancing, huh, instead of the like the
dances in addition to yeah, yes, so we like went
and said we had cocktail hour and then sat down
for dinner, had dinner, and during the dinner they had
a drag show because it was out on the lawn
and I've never been to a drag show.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Oh my gosh. It was so fun. And I also
was like, this is what everyone's making like right, made
me go, whoa, people have really made a big deal
out of drag ones because it's just they're just lip
syncing to songs, going around dancing. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
I thought it's like a runway Like they're like like
a like a runway model like singing.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah. So they were singing like pop I caught like
Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, and they were just dancing around,
you know, weaving in and out of the tables, but
it was really fun.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Did you get their names because the drag names are
so fine.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
One of them was jazz I think it was jazz Man, uh,
Jazmin or something, and I can't remember the other one's name,
but they were both really amazing and funny. Like the
banter in between the dancing was really funny.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
What notes did you take away?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Man they had? I mean it was just so beautiful.
It made me want to be somewhere where everyone gets to,
which we already kind of envisioned because we're playing a destination,
so like whether everyone's at a hotel or I mean,
being in a house together would be so fun. But
you know, you're limited on how many people can fit comfortably,
(04:28):
whereas a resort or hotel, you know you have more
more space in that regard. But yeah, we loved that
aspect of it. The food was great. They had you know,
different options for that they didn't do I don't think
they did a first dance or anything. They had a
(04:50):
photo booth which is really fun. Yeah, but the music
the DJ was really good so that we were like,
that's key. And then they did a cake cutting right
when they so they got announced while we were all
first sitting down and they just immediately went and cut
the cake. So it's like, oh, if we do a cake,
(05:12):
it's nice because everyone's kind of freshly on you. So
you do it, have that moment and then it's just
kind of done. Then they can serve the cake. Yes,
So but it was amazing. They also had merch They
both had their own candle scent that everyone got, so
it was like both of their signature sense. We were like,
oh that's a cool idea.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Wow, not your cheese, all right.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Yeah, but it was just it was visually beautiful. But
I think there was a heat wave. It was one
hundred and seven.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Degrees in Palm Springs and.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
I think it was probably this time of year. Was
probably when they chose to do it because it wasn't
so hot yet.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, I know, really threw people for a loop.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Yeah, so they had moved the ceremony later. It was
supposed to be earlier in the day, and thank god
they moved it because it was still hot. They had
fans on everyone's seat, so it was just like everything
was very thoughtful.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I know.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
It's really the temperature is a really really finicky thing
that you have to be so careful about because you
don't want people cold, but then you don't want people hot.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
So it's a.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Fine line of like because if you're doing it summer,
tropical and warm, you have to time it in a
way where it's not like a peak.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
He couldn't. Like they were like in the middle of
the heat.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Wave, Like, how do would you predict this six months?
Speaker 4 (06:31):
If you can't? And I told Hayla that I go listen,
we just have to be prepared that the weirdest thing
could happen if we choose to do it outside. Like
that's just the reality of a situation.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Where it's always comfortable where Mexico.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
They can give quite hot in Mexico.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, depending on the time of year, depending on the
top of year, and you don't want to do it
like what's their hurricane season June through November. Hard to
say it's something like that. Yeah, yeah, but there was
a good solid six months. I'm just like bliss weather.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Yeah yeah, yeah, no, you're you had great weather for
your wedding, But I just yeah, you've al.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Between March and May, and we were like May might
be scorcher, might be toasty.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Mm hmm. Yeah, No, it was. It was a fun
first wedding to go to and just and oh my gosh,
the way I couldn't even I could barely watch them
look at each other at the altar because they they
would both start crying or like starting to get emotional,
and then I would start again and I was like sweating.
I was like, this is too much. Yeah, it was
(07:38):
really really sweet. So it made me feel excited for,
you know, when when the time comes for us.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm so excited for when the time comes for you.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, and then you just like live it, relive it
over and over and over again.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Is that what you do?
Speaker 2 (07:56):
That's what I'm trying to like, you know.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
What's so funny is after we got all our wedding
photos back after our wedding, I got so many photos
that it was like overwhelming. So you obviously, like you
look through you look at the ones of like you
and your husband, and like there's a handful, you know,
but then there's like all these pictures of your guests
and like so I was like, Okay, I'm gonna sit down.
I'm going to send everybody like all their photos. And
I just never did it until our year anniversary came
(08:20):
up and I started looking at the photos again. I
was like, oh my gosh, there's so many pictures of
our guests in here, and I was like sending them
left and right, like I.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Got a couple of nice ones of me.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah, yeah, I'm like there was so many of like
I still have to send a couple.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
There's still like a couple chunks of couples that we
had that like, they're.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Really nice photos. And I'm like, one year later.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
They've been waiting for them. They're like, maybe I don't
want to bother her, but maybe she'll just send them.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah, my system, I feel like really broke down, Like
I think I said, like the whole like I figured,
like you would send to like Jojo and who you know,
And then I know Robbie was like, why would you
expect Becka to do that?
Speaker 2 (08:56):
I was like, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I didn't know. I was in charge of delegate photos.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
I sat like the big lump of them to like
a handful of people, thinking that they would like, you know, disperse,
disperse amongst the families and the friends.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
No, it didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
You just got to send the album to everyone to
the wedding. Here everybody at the wedding look through the
photoshoos what you want?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I know, Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
One of the main events this weekend though, was the
Easty Awards, and I've been dying to hear because we
had it kind of a crazy we did. We had
like a birthday part in Taylor Bank's birthday on Friday night,
and then we had the wedding and then Sunday. I
was like, ready for content, and you've been a little
(09:39):
quiet with the content showing, the showing, the ward show.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Uh, I have a lot.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Content. First of all, I want to think everybody that came.
We had so much fun, so many scrubbing and fans
in the audience at the Allegiant Theater over the weekend.
It was just sad and they're the coolest people in
the world.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Something I thought was funny is before we started, there
was a we did a stream, a live stream of it,
and I was talking to the guy. I'm like, oh,
was there like a chat feature because we just on
Instagram live and the past people like to talk to
each other. And he's like, yeah, but we don't really
have the staff to like moderate it, you know, And
I'm like don't worry. There's not gonna be any no
one's gonna say anything bad. Yeah, this is the most kind,
respectful group of people watching this. But uh, yeah it was.
(10:23):
It was an absolute blast. I had Easton Burningham, who
is La La Kent's brother from Man and Front Brules.
He came and presented an award that was to Easton's
on stage for the first time in history. It was
pretty exciting. Wells Adams helped me present an award. H
and we shrunk the theater by accident. That was You'll
(10:45):
see that on I'll post that. That was a trip.
Haley presented movie the year. She did an incredible job.
Everyone was so excited to see her. Tanya did gave
a lifetime and she been award a sweet potato.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Wow actually has potato last night?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Oh my god. We again. People but nuts when they
saw you on screen.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
It was it was everything I wanted. It was so
much fun. Uh and the theater was just great. I
had such a blast. I kept saying, I'm like, I
don't know if I'm gonna do this again because it's
just like so much, it's so much money, it's so
much time. Yeah, I got it, I got it. I
gotta do it again. It's just it's so much fun.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
What were your takeaways like, because you know, you did
the smaller theater of the year before and then you upgraded,
so like where what were your takeaways after doing this one?
Because I feel like you went like you had a
big leap from the first one. To know someone it
was well double. But also like the effort and like
the the activations, all the things activation, hardboard cutout. He
(11:49):
had a lot of merch.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
We had a red carpet experience. Walked in the red carpet,
take picture with me. We had a photo booth, people
a photo booth. My friend Win was so kind to
take everyone's photos. She set up the photo booths, she
set up the red carpet. That was all her idea.
She took these incredible photos of everybody. And if you're
in southern California and you want incredible family photos, you
(12:12):
should check out b Family Photography on Instagram. She's she's
just the best. And she made it such a cool
event for everybody. Yeah, you know, that place was perfect.
The Allegian Theater was Their staff was just so great.
I think I want to do it there again next
year if we do this again. There's a few things
I was just talking to Mark about this. There was
a few things I would do differently.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
You learn living, you learn.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
There was a lot of stuff I remember from last
year that I fixed for this year, and I'm really
happy with how that came out. Like I made videos
for each of the nominees like they do with the Oscars,
And one year I did that and everyone's like, it's
too much, too much stuff. But I did it again
this year and everyone's like. I really liked having the
visual aids. I could visualize what the Buenavista Street off
ramp looks like when it did best Freeway off Ramp.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, it was so much fun. When I got to
go on KTLA and promote that.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Goes Wait did Eastern really go promote the Easts? And
I was like, yeah, that was real.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
She thought I was fake.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
I think she was just like, wasn't for something else
for iHeart? Or was the Awards? I was like, it's
for the Easty Awards.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
My mom came down from Santa Cruz to see the show,
which was awesome. She surprised me and she got I
was like, hey, I'm going to do uh, I'm going
to a TV station talk about the show. Do you
want to come with me? And she can't. She thought
I was She's like, you're doing like an entertainer report
for iHeart right, Like this is like you're talking about
the Kate Taylor Swift or something. And I'm like, no,
do east the awards. That's what she could not believe
that I She thinks I tricked them, which I kind
(13:43):
of did. Uh, but yeah, that was the weekend anchors.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Are really sweet. Yeah, they're really the best. They're really sweet.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Cool uh Yeah, And it's it just I was filled
with so much love from the audience or from you guys,
everyone who helped out and did something for this. It
just made me feel so much love. Yeah, it just
everyone like comes. Alson keeps saying this is like your
birthday party. This is your birthday party, because like and
(14:15):
everyone comes through for me and I just it may.
I'm so grateful to like all of our friends that
across the different podcast we do. And it's just it's
so much fun. I had a best time. So everyone,
thanks for coming out.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
You know what, Easton, you come through for a lot
of people. It's that people can do for you. What
was that new gen?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
I think I don't know.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
Maybe you know, you would know I was a woman
in radio.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
It's not a current song. I think it's like to say,
it's like something old.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Well, there have been some hot topics that have happened
whilst we were gone, but I have a few of
those that I want to get to because there's things
to talk about after the break. We're back, Ah.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Thought off guard. Yeah, I was reading our notes.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
So while we were gone, the Bachelorette season was canceled.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Three days before the premiere.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
I thought it was a day before.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
No, this was it was on Thursdaursday, and it was
premiere on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Okay, okay, yeah, So the news came out that it
was canceled a few days before. And I don't even
know where to begin on this, but you can start
if you want to share your Do you have an
opinion on this?
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Well?
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I have many opinions. Okay, yeah, I have a lot
of opinions. However, I've been seeing maybe Sam Sam's listening right, Yes,
maybe she can do a little digging. But I saw
something I think I sent it to her this morning
that like the show might just be shelved, but not
like pulled, like they might air it at some point,
(16:13):
which infuriated me.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Infuriated me, do you know.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
How much like, all, okay, this is we have to
be realistic about these networks in these shows. I was
listening to Rachel Lindsay's podcast and she was taught which
this was a perspective I hadn't even considered. Oh, but
she was talking about how when she was a bachelorette,
it took them I think fifteen years to have a
(16:39):
black bachelorette and they had to make sure it was
the perfect candidate, someone that was digestible for the all.
Like it was a huge deal for them to have
a black bachelorette, which in hindsight is crazy to me.
ABC and The Bachelor chose Taylor Frankie Paul knowing the
allegations that we're against. So this happened, you know, in
twenty twenty three. They knew that she had been married,
(17:03):
but like, there were several things that they knew about
her that would have never like, it just made it.
It put into perspective of how long it took them
to get a black bachelorette, and yet they were just
so easily going to have this person who clearly had
a lot going on in her life that was not
(17:23):
what digestible for the audience of The Bachelor, just because
they cared about viewership and ratings and so and from
the perspective of a TV show, I get that, like
you want to build it up.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
My issue was from the beginning, if you will recall
I said when they casted her, I don't like, oh cast.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Haley just taught me that, so it's not I know.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Cat just cast and they cast. It sounds wrong actually,
but I didn't know it.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Was just cast. Okay, so cast it does.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Sound wrong when I say it okay, but Cass also
sounds wrong.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
So I'm just gonna whatever.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
I had major issue when they cast right Taylor Frankie Paul.
Initially I thought it was total bs. I thought it
was garbage. I had issue with them casting her in
the very beginning. People were very much like, Yeah, this
is gonna be so good, popcorn, popcorn, popcorn, and I
was like, this is disgusting. I also find it disgusting
(18:23):
that Chris Brown still has a platform and a touring
success and like, don't get me started. So like people
are like, why are you so upset with Taylor. I'm like, no,
I'm a I don't the whole I don't. Domestic violence
is domestic violence to me, it's not about girl guy.
It's about this specific situation that's going on. I don't
like the guy either. What's his name, Dta Coda. I
think he's disgusting too, you know, like I'm not. It's
(18:46):
not just like a her thing. It's a them thing.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Right, But I think it's one of those things to
me that it it's they chose, so it happened. It
shows on Mormon Wise. The one episode I watched was
the season one, episode one, and it's show this incident. Like,
So it really.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Bothers me too that this Mormon Wives show is so
popular as well, Like I've never watched a single episode.
I know it's wildly popular, but it also disturbs me
that it's so popular and these are the people that
they're praising and watching, Like it really deeply disturbs me.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Yeah, I mean it's entertainment, and that's what I mean.
People watch reality, don't.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
They don't go to find entertainment on like people getting
into a bed full of strawberries do you know what
I mean?
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Well, that's a different type of entertainment. But I think
the thing is because I met Taylor, and I really
I liked her the short amount of time we spent together,
and I feel like she has, you know, tried to
work on being better and her mental health. But I
also think that she posts about how hard the attention
(19:51):
and opinions and social media, how hard it's been for her,
and I'm like, I can't think of someone worse that
they could and it not Taylor's specifically, but as a
person who struggles with their mental health to put them
on a show like The Bachelorette as the lead who's
never been on the show before, has no idea the
way it works, the system, and just like be like
(20:15):
here we go for views. It's just all bad. It's
all bad in my opinion. And the thing is is like,
you can't really praise ABC for pulling it because they
chose to have her in the first place.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
I did praise them for pulling it because I do
feel like even.
Speaker 6 (20:29):
Though Tanya, they only I know, because the video came
out and they had no choice, but still no, but
still there are networks that like they don't care like
these There are networks and people that would just air
this stuff for the facade.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Of it all or for the parade the charade of it.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
They still might because it's money.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
The fact that they still might air it, I.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Think you might have to delete your comment if they
do that.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Well, I mean it's gone now. It's like it was
on my story, but like in my opinion, it was
like better late than never. I was like grateful that
they just ended up pulling it, but I also was
so upset that they cast it cast her in the
first place. Right, I mean, I'm very wound up about
it because I just feel like, let's stop giving platforms to.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
This, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Well, yeah, I mean it's rewarding behavior that actually and
in the.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Thing actually disgusting. Like it's not like drama, Like you
can get drama. You can watch housewives people yelling at
each other. There's drama, and then there's disgusting and like
this is this is this is disgusting.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Well, the people who are suffering the most are the kids.
And it sucks because this is all documented and you
know it's it. They didn't sign up for it, and
it's just I don't know what the future of the
show is gonna be. It's if anything, it's there if
they air it, and they know it will be watched,
(21:54):
maybe more than ever before.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Which is so upsetting.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
But the world loves drama. The world loves to tune
in to chaos because it distracts from their own lives.
You know, you watch someone else's life falling apart and
you feel better about yourself.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Which is so weird because I'm like, I try and
think of what I actually like, what I consume, and like, yes,
Love Island can be a bit.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Yeah, like you're just watching wholesome Strawberry shortcake shows over there.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
The Next Level Chef is so wholesome, and I find
it wildly entertaining. Next Survivor is a little cutthroat, but
like still majority wholesome, and I find it very entertaining,
Like you don't need to be disgusting to be entertaining.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
No, that's kind of where I feel like we should
just draw the line.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Yeah, I think it's just a really bad situation for
the kids, and I think that I'm curious to see
what happens in terms of what they end up doing
with the season.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I heard more Higgins and talks to be the new
bach Threat really perked me up because she is my
absolute queen and I would love she would be classy,
she would be hilarious, and she would be so just
like fun to watch.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
I've seen a lot of pitches for her and like
how they can like change the show to make it.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Live or something like they're going to do a lot over.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
The audiences to choose yeah, yeah, yes, exactly, the votes
on it, which I think would be wild.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
Well because her whole thing on Traders trusting Rob, she
was like, I can't.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Trust myself, so I was like, I would hate to
have the audience vote for me.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
The log yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
So the state or the language that ABC used in
their statement says that they are they chose specific language
to leave it open for a possibility to air it
at some point, which is wildturbing. And also, I don't
know if you guys have seen this yet, but Taylor
Frankie Paul is being investigated for a third allegation of
domestic violence. The police are investigating right now. That's that
(24:04):
broke this morning.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
So there's also at the end of the day, like
ABC is Disney, Like I'm sorry but Disney needs to
hold themselves to a little bit of a higher standard
in terms of entertainment.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Like Disney is family friendly? Did that is like Disney?
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yeah, but ABC isn't necessarily family friendly.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
It's under the umbrella of Disney. Yeah, so they need
to get it together.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
Yeah. I mean, I think this is a lesson of
like not platforming someone who is already struggling in their
mental health and needs help as opposed to being put
on a dating reality show. And I think it to
be a wake up call that they could have They
could have chosen one of the other girls from if
they wanted someone from Mormon Wives and the popularity of
that show, there could have been another one, But they
(24:53):
chose Taylor Frankie Paul because they wanted the chaos.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Miranda would have been great. I'm just saying as someone
who has watched the show, I think Randon would be that.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
I haven't watched it, but everyone seems to love her.
But yeah, I mean all.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
For Maura, she's got morals.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
I think it was in our I think it was
in our work group chap and some on Twitter was like, uh,
they should have Ryan Seacrest on there like Ryan should
be the Bachelor and should be live like, oh yeah,
you'd be able to handle it. He's squeaky clean. Yeah,
he's allegedly on tender looking for a mate.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
He's not actually on confirmation on that. Oh yeah, a
joke he said on like wheel Fortune and the they
ran with it was like every headline that's actually funny.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. All I know
is I'm watching Bachelor Mansion Takeover to and it.
Speaker 7 (25:48):
Makes me feel like, man, I'm really yearning for a
Bachelor season because I am watching.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
But also like I think, like the Bachelor could really
you know, ham up their paradise show. You make it
a little more Love Island e vibes, because like obviously
Love Island is doing well, so like make it a
little bit more about like make it, you know, lean
into that whole thing, and then put a spotlight on
their mansion takeover things.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
And maybe they just like pivot.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
The Bachelor franchise away from this like one guy, twenty
five girls, one girl, twenty five guys, and they just
like pivot, so it's not like over over, it's just shifting.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
So they could the concept has worked for so long,
So what they did is they straight away from it
and they weren't choosing like I don't know what was happening,
but it felt like when they chose Joey, there was
like a resurgence in the show because it felt like
it felt like the old Bachelor seasons and everyone was
like invested in the girls and invested in Joey and
(26:45):
it was like just finding the right person because the
concept has worked for so long. I mean, a tale
as old as time, a tale as old as time,
and as silly as it is, one person trying to
date twenty five people and it feels crazy. It's not
like it's this like morality show. You know, you're not
watched like they're all drama lose their self worth over
(27:07):
a rose like you have. And as someone who's been
on there, I remember that feeling of being like I
can't believe I'm standing here feeling anxious on if I'm
going to be validated by someone's rose.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
So people kept asking me. They were like, does Becca
have any tea? Since she was on the Bachelor, So
I'm just gonna ask you, now, do you have any
tea about this? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (27:25):
No, I'm so far removed.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
I didn't that because I was like, I feel like
if there was.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Tea, she would have told me. And it's been cricky.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
No, I haven't. I like am not associated, Like I
don't even get invited to stuff for The Bachelor because
I have been like so far removed from it, But
I've never had an issue with it. And my thing
with them casting casting Taylor Franky Paul was just casting cast.
Casting is also a word sense of cast is cast
(27:59):
them choose her. I was just like, I think this
is gonna be I didn't realize there was gonna be
this chaos, like this type of chaos, but I knew
it was not gonna be what the show has been
for so long, which I think is what they wanted,
but it went awry.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Do we think though, that the season is even that
crazy like with her, Like, how funny would it be
if it was just a regular, you know, just boring.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Stuff I saw, which obviously Chris Harrison used to do
this and Jesse Palmer They're like ham it up for
like the drama. But he was like, I've never experienced
some of the things that I've experienced, like that this
is the craziest season. Of course he has to say that,
but I do believe it. But I do have to say,
(28:44):
is it not crazy? And I imagine if you're a
person of color seeing that, knowing how hard it was
to get someone who was black, Asian, someone who just
wasn't white, and the links they had to go through
to like prove that they were. Rachel is a lot lawyer.
She was from text, like just like all these things
had to line up for them to be like, Okay,
(29:05):
let's see if America likes this, and then to watch
this person who has literal allegations get cast as the lead.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
A felon, a felon served time.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
But I my main thing is I hope that both
of those people. I hope Taylor, Frankie, Paul and Dakota
and really the whole cast goes and like has some
deep therapy and like realizes that their life doesn't have
to be chaos for it to be successful, because what's
happened is they've been praised and rewarded for this like
(29:39):
drama and trauma, and I just they're all young, and
I'm like, your life doesn't have to be this for
the rest of it, just because it's been rewarded like this,
yet they all find peace and happiness off the TV. Yeah,
until they come back. Speaking of reunion Hannah Montana, Oh
(30:02):
my god, Laguna Beach.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah, twenty years I know.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
But like I'm like, what is that saying about us
now that like we can't watch original content, Like we're
constantly just doing like reboots, reunions, reboots, red shoots.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
I thought about this a lot.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Yeah, it's interesting, right.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
I read a thing a few years ago that one
of the first signs that a civilation is about to
crumble is the loss of novelty. And I was thinking
about how like every movie is like based on it.
I you know, I was like, oh god, we not
come up with new ideas. That means like the Western civilizations.
That's a broadway of looking at it. But when we
were kids, I mean there was like there's always like
you know, Brady Bunch Reunion and stuff like that. I
(30:41):
feel like this is just something to do. Yeah, we're
just at that age.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Age for like you dress up for a Y two
bay theme. It's a theme now, yeah, you know, like
the seventies when you were younger or that, right. And
I also think that there is something to be at
about the early two thousand's rom coms, and it's been
hard to capture the essence of those with like new
concepts and ideas. So I think they're like, let's just
(31:09):
take it and add some new faces.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
The Laguna Beach Reunion being on Roku is so random
to me, like the Netflix.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
I want to buy that, Like, this is our moment
is on Roku.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Had the Charlie Pooth Show to.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
What Charlie poos show.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
Some friend?
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Yeah, I think it was just he came on the
morning show to promote it.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Oh, you're right.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
I think it's just called the Charlie Pooth Show. But
like they had that ed the Weird Al movie with
Daniel Radcliffe.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yes, yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
I was like, I'm sorry, it's gonna take so much
for me to take the Roku channel. Seriously, it's like
a fixed you know, it's like Acorn TV or something.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
I was like shocked because to me, this Laguna Beach
Reunion is like a big deal, Like I'm excited to
watch it. Yeah, So when I found out it was
on Roku, was like, huh.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
They said, we got a lot of money to spend,
let's just throw it all onto this.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Yeah, and the Laguna Beach Cast was like.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
You, they said, I love Laguna Beach seasons one and two.
I watched those on DVD so much.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
ILL watched any of them since they like aired in
real time, so like, I forget a lot. I mean obviously,
you know, like the the the Core drama, you know,
Elb and.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Kristin or whatever.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
But yeah, yeah, I know the beats. I'm excited to
tune in. I feel like my my TV days are
are really good right now.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
They're good.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
I'm just like feeling really like say shaded.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Okay, good. Yeah, speaking they're doing another They're doing a
thirteen going on thirty reboot, which wow, I have mixed
feelings about because that's just a classic and it's like,
do we really need a new one? Already? Still feels
fresh to.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Me, you know, but that was like almost one of
the twenty years ago two years.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Yeah, it's fresh in my mind, okay. But Emily Bader
was on. She was in the movie People. We met
on vacation and I loved her, Like I was like,
you didn't like her?
Speaker 2 (33:03):
I know that movie didn't do it for me.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
That's so crazy, the things that you love that that
one didn't do it for you.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
I know, I've actually shocked myself that I didn't like
that one.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
I loved it, and I loved her. I found her
so cute and charming. So I am excited to see
her in a another a rom com reboot.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
So you know what show came back? Speaking of reunions,
it's not a reunion. Actually, it's just like the second
season Jury Jury Duty. Do you remember when Jury Duty
Cannot Robbie and I thought that was like the greatest
show of all time, Like we literally like almost pete
our pants laughing watching that show.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Brilliant concept, so funny.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yeah, brilliant concept, and so we were so thrilled for
the second season of it. Basically, so it's Jury Duty
Presents Corporate Retreat. So it's like the same concept where
like the one guy doesn't know and then they're all actors,
but they're going on a company retreat.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
So he's like a temp.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
He thinks they're shooting a documentary for this like hot
Sauce brand. And we started watching it and I was
like not laughing like I did in Jury Duty, Oh no,
And so I was like, I think I'm off, Like
I think I'm done after two episodes. I was like, yeah,
so last night, so I had to get up at
three o'clock this morning, so I put myself into bed
(34:21):
at seven and we watched Paradise.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
And then after Paradise, I said, I'm gonna go to bed.
You can watch whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Feel free to watch Jury Duty, Couple's Retreat or whatever,
or for a retreat. So Robbie puts it on volume
down respectfully for me, and all of a sudden, I
hear him.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
The bed's shaking because he's laughing so hard.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
And I was like, I told him to watch this
because I didn't think it was as funny. So I
didn't think this would elicit such a cackle for an
hour and uproar, And I was like, this would be
one of those nights if we had a spare bedroom
that I would have like slept in the spare bedroom.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Wow. Yeah, Well, I told Tanya it's a little hypocritical
because I've been on planes where we're not sitting by
each other. Tanya's like, I would say, six rows behind me,
and I can hear her cackling out loud. It's dead
silent on the plane. Tanya is like doing her boisterous
laughing friend A million times. I love every night watching it.
(35:26):
But she was talking about Robbie laughing out loud, and
I go, well, I mean, at least it was in
the privacy of your own home like you did it
on a plane when everyone was quiet. She goes, no,
it's not as bad.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
And I was like, it's very different to laugh out
loud in public with on a plane of people around.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
It was not like a nighttime flight.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
It wasn't nighttime.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
No, it was not. It was three pm.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
No, it was not. They were coming back from somewhere
and it was dark outside three pm.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
It was darkish on the down.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
It was quiet. It was quiet.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
No, it was not like a sleepy time plane like
it was not like overnight.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Very nice.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
Plane can be a sleepy time plane if you need
it to be.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
All I'm saying is I think it's much worse when
you're in bed with your partner to laugh out loud
than on a plane.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
I think I'll win this.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
We we love Robbie, we appreciate and admire every choice
and decision he makes. But do you not have a
TV in your living room or did this have did
you have to watch this in bed, so when you
were going to bed early.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
So you're right, he could have watched it downstairs. But
we fall asleep to the TV every night. We like
put on a timer and like it turns off. So
in my mind, I was like, it's fine because.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
It'll just be like that. No, you know what I mean, Like, Okay,
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Anticipate him like shaking the bed, laughing so hard the show.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Okay, I apologize.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
It did not mean yeah, it's fine. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
Did it make you want to watch it again? With
how hard are you? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I was like wow, Like I like pieced out and
now I'm like, and maybe I should get back in.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
I love that y'all do that with each other shows
what you're like. I'm not. He's out on Love Island
and then he's like, don't watch it without me.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Allison an idea, I too, Like I was out on
Love Story and she she want, wait.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
I am kind of out on Love Story.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
I never started.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
I'm gonna watch it till but look, the last episode
was kind of tough. It was just like an hour
of them fighting.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
Allison loves it. She's in, but not me. I watched
a little bit of it just because I wanted to
see the clothes.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
The fashion Oh yeah, fashion guy, the fashion guy.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
I also incorporated a new item into my bedtime routine.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Oh I cannot wait to hear about.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
But I'm gonna get it because of my purse.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Okay, well let's talk about it.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
We'll get back.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
We're back, We're back. So Tanya just has come over
and pull the contraption out of her bag.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
So I'm nothing if not a student of life, you know,
just trying to be better, better version of myself. So
I saw some people on Instagram and maybe TikTok, I'm
not sure, post this contraption. And this is a breast pillow.
So if you're a side sleeper such as myself, when
(38:38):
you wake up in the morning, I have wrinkles that
look like they're deeper than the rocky mountains that have
formed on my chest when I wake up in the morning.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
So I saw people using this apparatus.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Who are the said people? I give them their no
because I.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Don't know their names. Unfortunately I wish I could.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Okay, but there are people that are like in my
They're not like people that I know that I follow.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Tony's putting this contraption over her man and she's got
to get it dry cleaned. Yeah, in the wash, it
looks like a like you're putting on a bulletproof vest
or something.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
So it's a pillow and it sits right in between
your breasts. So I would in theory, if I was
like going to bed, I would have Robbie tight in
the bottom, so it's like tighter here. But to get
it over my head, I have to like loosen it
up a little, so it basically sits in between your breasts.
And I guess it's supposed to just like stop the uh,
(39:34):
it's supposed to stop the.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Wrinkles from happening. So I wore it last night. I
wore it.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
I wore a T shirt and I put this over it.
It didn't work. I woke up and I still had
some like line. So I think I think I'm supposed
to wear it on my skin. So tonight I will
try it on my bare skin and I'll report back fully.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
Okay, So okay, where do I start with my questions?
Do this strap's not? I feel constricting, like I feel
like those would bother me sleeping. I like, I don't
like anything. I think I'm different than you in that way,
like I have to be in a big T shirt
oversized thing because I don't want anything like tight on me.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Yeah, so I usually don't have anything on me, so
this I didn't feel difference last night.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Actually.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
So you know they have these like silicone pat paths
that you can put there that prevents you from wrinkling
like that.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Can you send me LinkedIn because I'll find one.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
You're giving a little action. I thought it was a
back supporter. I was like, huh, that's cool, like spine support.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
No, No, it's to keep the boobs.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I don't even know what it's supposed to do, to
be honest, my booms aren't big to be like flopping around.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
First of all, Yeah, well I've seen a lot of people.
I've been really paying it. I've been targeted, but also
really paying attention to like creams and stuff for your
chest and neck because I feel like I take really
great care of my face skincare, but I then neglect
the neck and.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Chest and that it really shows off fruit.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
Yeah, you can do all the things on your face,
but if you're not taking care of your neck and
wearing sunscreen and doing all those things, you're gonna, you're
gonna they're gonna know, they're gonna know, they're gonna, they're
gonna same with your hands. Krishelle got this Krishelle Stoles
got this thing done where it's like injections in your
hands to make them look young. And I was like,
that's so extra and I'm interested. She was like, I
(41:28):
know it's a lot, but it's what I do and
I love it.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
I actually saw these like they're like little mittens that
you put your hands in to like work on your hands,
like kind of like a red light therapy for your hand.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
Right.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
I didn't purchase them because I have my breast.
Speaker 4 (41:42):
Something at a time.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yeah, I can only try one thing at a time,
because you know, I tried that vibration plate that everybody
was like, this is the best thing since sliced bread.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
Turns out not for your discs in your back, thank you.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
So it doesn't mean that you just need to like
tighten your core. It's actually not good for your spine
over time.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
Yeah, because of my situation.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Yeah, yeah, my newest thing that I got because I
had gotten a massage and she said I had a
lot of Fasha build up on this Fasha Fasha. I
don't really know, but it's basically when I guess like
a group of I don't want to misspeak, but like
fat cells or something like bunch up and you yeah,
and it causes cellulite, okay, which cellulates natural And she
(42:24):
was like, you know, as you ate whatever, it's just
that's natural. But she was like, you have a build up,
so you can get this thing called a fasha blaster
and it's just this little plastic tool and you just
like rub it out. It's like kind of painful.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
Yeah, but I'm.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
Gonna try to do that regularly.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
So much upkeep I mean, the stay at the brass pillow,
like I th.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
Thing is like I know a lot of people, it's
like society is always like you gotta do this, you
gotta do this. My thing is do you Because I
love trying new things. I love doing new things. I
love trying new facial things. I have no issues with
trying it and if I don't like it, then never
doing it again. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
The mouth tape has like literally changed my life. Like
I'm so happy that I started taping in my mouth
shut at night, Like I can't even explain to you
and I never never would have tried that if I
was just not wanting to try things.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
Yeah, And it's like, yeah, you can not have to
try anything or do things that you're seeing on TikTok,
But if it's not dangerous, why not.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Yeah, you know it's so funny.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
So Robbie posted this video of me like whale watching,
like watching Cabo. I was in like a bathing suit,
and somebody like sent me a DM and they.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
Were like, I just like applaud you for.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
Being I'm like a whale watch and I'm not gonna
interpolate them the DM, but it was basically like I
I applaud you for being so confident in your own
skin and showing us what real women look like and
like not being ashamed of your cellulite and like you know,
just like.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
Going on and on.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
And I was like, oh, thank you so much. I
thought I would good in that video. Like I'm not
trying to like prove I'm just me, you know what
I mean, like like me, that's what I like.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah, Like that's just that's just that's just your girl.
Speaker 4 (44:12):
Yeah, I mean yeah, I feel like you look amazing
any sort of you're trying to be brave.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
No, I'm just like being me watching whales.
Speaker 4 (44:24):
No you are, I mean in general, like you are
so like authentically yourself.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
Well, I wasn't remember there there was days when I
would face tune and yeah, yeah, sension the waves.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
Every now and then if I just get one photo
and I'm like, needs a little work, I'll I'll go
in yea'll dabble, but dabble.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
I don't do it anymore.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
And I think it's amazing because I think that without
you saying like needing to be like you're so brave,
I think it just is like we're in a world
where everything's so heavily filtered. I just my biggest viewer
is someone meeting me and being like, whoa, she looks
so different online. That's just not what I'm looking for.
(45:07):
So I have to you know, you know, you can't.
You can't be posting things if you're gonna meet people
in the wild.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
No, I've had a couple of those encounters, and it's
like with other people, yes, and I'm like I never
want that to be me with somebody else, you know.
Speaker 4 (45:22):
But even like on TikTok, they have the beauty filter,
which I always have one, but people will be like,
I'll see other people's videos where they clearly have it
on because you don't have pores in that video. I'm like, people,
real people have pores, Like that's just no matter how
good their skin is. Right, And people in the comments
be like, please drop the skincare, and I'm like, girl,
(45:43):
just put on the little filter and you'll feel great
about yourself if that's what you're looking for. Yeah, I
was gonna talk about something else that you had said
that you mentioned you're talking about whale.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Watching, bathing suits, trying new things, mouth tape.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
No, I don't know. I'll try to think about it.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (46:08):
I feel like our scrubbers loved the longer episodes, yes,
which made me feel it just made me feel like
kind of old school vibes. Also, I know you don't
care because you're not watching, But Teddy and Owen are
leaving Grey's Anatomy, Kim Raper and uh Kevin McKidd.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
Where are they going?
Speaker 4 (46:26):
I'm not sure. I think just gone. You can't get
her test played off you guys, right, it.
Speaker 1 (46:34):
Felt weird just having it on while we're chatting right
right right.
Speaker 4 (46:38):
It says Gray's Anatomy is shocker Kim Raver and Kevin
McKidd leaving Grey's Anatomy. It says there will be a
nice payoff for those who've been invested in the Owen
and Teddy relationship, which the payoff would be for them
to not be.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
Together, right, be in separate relationships.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
Yeah, And I saw this thing where this girl is saying,
how when I don't know if you remember that episode,
but it's when Teddy, I mean, Christina and Owen are
together and Teddy's in love with Owen and you know,
there's kind of like a love triangle. Yeah, And Teddy's like,
I'm gonna leave. I can't do this basically because I'm based,
I'm in love with Owen and I can't be around this.
(47:15):
And Christina chases her out and she's like, where are
you going? You can't go, and she was like I
have to go, and and Christina's like, you're You're everything
I need to be the best surgeon I can be.
Like i'll give you, I'll do anything. What do you
want And she's like I want Owen And Christina's like
that's fine, happened.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
I really forgot about that.
Speaker 7 (47:33):
And she's like, I can't think of anything more powerful
as a woman to be like, I need you for
my career taking command the sacrifice Christina was O g
it was just so good.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
It was peak.
Speaker 8 (47:50):
Yeah yeah, well.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
You missed it Easton. But Tanya, we decided that there's
actually these chest patches that she could get that may
limit the stress and trials and tribulations of the I
just need to know who has that that you were following,
is what I really need to know.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Well, what's really funny is because I posted on my Instagram,
I got a lot of d ms about from people being.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
Like, oh my gosh, I've been using this for ten years.
It works. I swear by it.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
Someone said they rolled up like big socks and put
it in between their boobs and that helps.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
But I don't.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
I fear that my wrinkles are not boob related because
my boobs are quite small.
Speaker 4 (48:43):
You know. Well, I think if you're sleeping on your side,
you're just screen squishing up.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
But how it's preventing it, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (48:51):
I don't know. I can't tell you that I think
might be a little more effective. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:58):
I don't think I'm speaking out of school here, but
are very own Mark Molnitsky, he uses one of those
for his boobs, but he he has a sensory thing
he doesn't like.
Speaker 2 (49:08):
He was like his knees a pillow around there.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
And he has told me that his sister has the
same thing, and she uses an apparatus for her breasts
to keep him from touching. And maybe exactly that. I
don't know, I haven't seen it.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
I just need to have as many his sisters boo,
not know. I need to have like more steps in
my bedtime routine.
Speaker 4 (49:32):
Yeah, you need a few more. Yeah, you're limiting yourself.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
You know what I actually like thought of this week too.
You know, We've been wanting to do the Artist's Way
this book, this work book, and I've just been putting
it off because I'm like, you absolutely have to journal
first thing in the morning. Like it's not because I
was like, oh, it's for ten minutes, and I was like, oh,
I could just do it like any other time of
the day. But it's really about doing it right when
you wake up and getting.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
All that out of you.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
So it's like it's imperative that you do it first thing.
And I'm like, oh, I just wake up too early. Blah,
I'm no more excuses. Oh wow, I'm starting. Wow Wow,
I'm gonna wake up forty minutes before my alarm to
give myself time to sit ten minutes to write. Oh
so really, I had just need twenty more minutes. Okay,
I'm gonna give up twenty more minutes before my alarm.
Speaker 4 (50:17):
Wow to do this.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
That's beautiful to start the artist's way. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:23):
I was debating, like, oh, I can just do the
three pages whenever, but I think the main thread of
the artist's way is doing the pages right when you
wake up, yes, because you get everything out. And to
be honest, I did it for like a week one
time I started, and I really do feel like it
made a difference with like my mental state. Speaking of yesterday, Okay,
(50:45):
I have a I last year did a lot of construction.
We did a lot for the house, like we converted
the garage, we did the backyard, and in that time,
I thought, why not convert one of the rooms into
a closet and have that situation too, So I did it,
and then I moved all my stuff in and I
just never like really went through and got rid of
stuff that I needed to get rid of. And there
was still stuff on the ground, and so yesterday you
(51:09):
couldn't walk into my closet. You had to like step
around things. There was so much like port you saw.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
It, not the specific closet, but just kind.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
Of yeah, you've seen the damage. I can.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
So for whatever reason, my ADHD gave me a moment
of peace and I locked in. And the first day
I went through our drunk room and I put the
it impiles of what was a giveaway, what we're keeping.
I separated everything. I had someone come pick it up
from me. So it was like that stuff was cleared,
and then I go, I'm going to do my closet
(51:40):
tomorrow because it's just been lingering on my mind. And
even though it probably wasn't really affecting me, I think
it was always it like was taking up space in
my brain that I needed to do that, and I
wasn't doing it, and it was clutter. So I locked
in yesterday. And you know when you get halfway through
doing something like that, and it looked towers and you're like,
(52:00):
I'm halfway and I want to quit, but like now
it's a bigger mess than it was. I just said, Becca,
you have to get it done. So I got it
done and it is pristine. But do you know what
the sick part is? I hired someone to come and
do like a deep clean on our house because we
have Haley's families coming. Some of her family members are
(52:20):
coming to visit, and I wanted the house to be
like really nice and clean. And I have that disease
where I need to clean things before. The cleaning is
so weird because I'm like, I don't want them to
care about how I'm perceived.
Speaker 3 (52:34):
I'm slav you know, I don't have that at all.
Speaker 4 (52:38):
That's such a gift. I like literally, I.
Speaker 2 (52:40):
Also like, don't leave dishes in the sink, like no, no.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
No, I don't like dishes in the sink. But I
was like cleaning the base boards.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
That is so weird.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
I was like, I have to clean this dusty room
because they're gonna think I'm disgusting. So that's why I
did it.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
Do you feel better now?
Speaker 4 (52:57):
So much better? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (52:59):
They say if you're feeling clustered, like frazzled or whatever
in your life, to like take a just even a
junk drawer like in your kitchen and organize it and
it'll like make you feel better.
Speaker 2 (53:08):
Maybe I should do that today.
Speaker 4 (53:09):
Well, we are making the extra room in the house
a guest bedroom, and I've been talking about it forever
and I'm like, we do. I just need to get
it done. I need to clear this out. I want
to organize all the closet space in the drawers and
I'm just in it right now.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
You and me, both sisters, sister, You and me, both sister.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
I told Robbie two, I said, enough enough with the stagnation.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
We are forward focused felines.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
Whoa yeah, feelings, future focused, forward focused momentum.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
Yeah. So if you need to clean, if you have
something in your house that you're like, I've been meaning
to do it, just to do it. It'll feel so good.
The thing is, you're not going to feel worse if
you do it, You're only going to feel better. Well,
we do have to do in the podcast, but we have
iHeart Awards. We're going together.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
So cute.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
Oh before, sorry, one last thing. I forgot to say
this earlier. I want to make sre I say it.
When Lassie Seward's thing I opened the show with the
Sabrina Carpenter towel. I don't know if you've seen. She
starts her show coming out in a towel and she
opens it up and it's glittery and I had the same
one that says a high la and Allison made that
towel for me and it was her idea but.
Speaker 2 (54:25):
An Etsy shop, honestly, it was so good.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
People were selling this for like seven hundred dollars, like
to buy one that was honestly not didn't look as
good as the way Alison made. So I told her
that I'm like, you could make a lot of Medea
in this, but it was her idea to do that
at all. And then she made it the towel like
from scratch basically, and uh, I'm just so grateful and
I want to make sure I said that before we
end the show.
Speaker 4 (54:45):
I hope everyone finds a girl like Allison. Yes, a partner.
Speaker 2 (54:49):
I could be a girl like Allison. I wish I
had that.
Speaker 4 (54:52):
You got bigger fish, you got Boo pillows, research to do,
like you don't have time.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
For towel arts and craft.
Speaker 4 (55:00):
Yeah, but yeah, Allison is amazing. We love you, Allison.
So tomorrow we'll be in the same room as.
Speaker 5 (55:11):
Ray Race performing Ella Langley, Alex Warren, Alex Warren and and.
Speaker 4 (55:24):
Taylor sw Yeah. I was like, Tony goes, Taylor's coming
to iHeart Awards. I was like in person, like yeah,
that's all I have to say.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
And then Becca said, sure, I'll go with you.
Speaker 4 (55:35):
That wasn't true.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
You're gonna go regardless.
Speaker 4 (55:38):
Yeah, before you told me Taylor Swif was gonna be there,
it was just a bonus.
Speaker 1 (55:43):
I was like, I know how to get Becca here
with me, am Miley Cyrus Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (55:48):
Yeah, well, Amiley Cyrus is gonna be there, so it's
gonna be fun night. It's just a girl night. Yeah,
good night, all right, everybody. We love you so much.
I love you, and we'll be back next week.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
Bye, love you, Crystal.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
Mm hmm
