Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the after show decompression session, doing what they do best,
glabbing their gums. You're hiding behind your computer screen.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
What a busy Monday?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yes it was. It flew right bye man.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
We usually try to ease into our work week.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Not today. We jumped in with both feet on fire.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It kind of felt like a Friday to day, didn't it.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
It did, kind of, but not really because we knew it. It
was Monday round to Ketos.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yeah, let's get a close up. And it's still going
in on the guactip.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah. Oh, it was very very tasty, very very tasty.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
And you know what, they brought a whole bunch of
food for the sales staff up here.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Well guess what. The sales staff are all working from home,
so what are we supposed to do with all this
other food?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Eat it?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
But I'm so stuffed I couldn't possibly eat it.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
You got a nice plate going here for Deborah.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Right, yeah, mama, some home. I got a food baby,
And I was I was thinking about the uh, the
cotton candy bacon. Yes, because I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
I know, you were very skeptical last week when I
was telling you that everybody was talking about that that
was the most talked about one, even more so than
the one that won for Best Savory. You were very skeptical,
but oh my gosh, I think it was because it
was a really thick cut of bacon, right.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
That's right, that's right it was. It had plenty of
bacon backfat on it too. And it's earlier. I screwed
up a little bit earlier. I was comparing it to
short ribs. Short ribs are about yea thick Oh yeah,
what are the little thin Mexican ribs? And yes, that's
what that bacon reminded me of, about a half an

(01:56):
inch of thickness on there. And Flavortown, US.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I have some.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
On Friday nights with crumbled blue cheese on top.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Oh so good?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Right on? Yeah, we had We had rippled potato chips
that had a blue cheese mix of a dressing on them.
We had a corn dog in there. I mean, where
can you get a better hot dog in Texas? Except
at the State Fair.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
You never get a hot dog. I always get the
corny dog hot Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Well, no, this one is a hot dog, but the
batter around it is corn dog. Yah. But I think
it was a little bit more Mexican corn bread than
just the straight ahead American recipe.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
You're talking about the one that they brought today, Dominican.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, Dominican. There you go. I really I think I'm
gonna have to pick that one as my favorite. But yeah,
I'm a big hot dog guy, and I think the
least favorite. Although I did like the taste, I was
surprised I liked it was the mixture of pickles and
like breakfast cereal, sugars and stuff in that little shot glass.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Same here, I.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Was like, it didn't have enough pickles in it.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Is that? Is that your assessment?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That was my assessment?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
And one pickle in it?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Here's a text I got.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I thought you were dieting me, I am, you just
ate three donuts, but I wanted four?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
See dieting.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Again today, will Power. I think I'm all done for
the day.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
You know, Kelly, Jim White's daughter, she made John Malaya yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
It was good.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Yeah, there's probably nothing left over, was there.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
She grew up in Louisiana, so she knows how to
cook that stuff.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
And I know she's a huge Saints fan, so I'm
sure she was laughing at our cowboys.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Who Dad, who?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Boy? Well, I was rooting for the Saints too.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Well, you were rooting but for both sides.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
But when the Cowboys started losing, you were like, let
me put on my Saints jersey.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
But I started thinking, God, I would give anything to
be in that locker room when Jerry comes in and
bitches at everybody, y'all shut now. I'm not kidding you.
I'm sorry. Heads are going to roll. I'm looking at you, McCarthy.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Somebody caught a still photo of Jerry taking a big
sip off of his drink right after the game was
announced as over.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
And you could see him say damn. When you Saint
scored a touchdown, the camera cut.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Up you see Jerry go damn.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
One of the funniest videos I saw on social media
was it's the everybody moving going into AT and T
Stadium before the game starts and they were like Cowboy
fans at halftime and then they put it in reverse.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Oh that was sad. But yeah, at halftime, I was like,
I can't watch this anymore.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's just it's what did you watch instead?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Instead? General Hospital?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
General Hospital?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I had it. I hadn't watched it all week.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I save it for the weekend, and since I was
out of town until yesterday when I got back from
my trip.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
So yeah, gh baby.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
For whatever reason, whenever I bet on this team or
that team with the NFL, if I completely ignore the
game and don't watch it at all, my picks go
really well.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, but then again you have to watch. You just can't.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, Kansas City game.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
So I picked the Chiefs and I was so nervous
because they were losing, and with three seconds left, their
kicker boom right through the upright.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I was the last seen of Johnny.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I finally got a win.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, Tampa Bay surprised me a second week in a row.
I picked them just to pick a good underdog last
week and they won and then damn if Tampa didn't
win again over the weekend. But I went out and
I did a double feature at Cinema Cut, which is
like the menu restaurants, sit down and order your food.
Cinema up in Denton County on three eighty and I

(05:47):
saw Beetlejuice very early yesterday morning, and I thought it
was tremendous.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Was it really?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Yeah? Especially Michael Keaton when Nona was great, the little
girl Jenna, Jenna was great too. And then there was
a face that I didn't recognize, and she plays She
plays Beetlejuice's evil ex wife that comes back from the
depths to try and chase him down, and she's really pissed.
I don't know the actress's name, and she was beautiful. Then.

(06:15):
She did a really good job. All the other actresses
in there. Danny DeVito was amazing in this. I've never
been so disgusted by Danny DeVito, even when he was
the penguin. Remember how nasty he was with the black
teeth and the fish hanging out of his mouth. He's
even more stomach churning in this, and that makes it
even funnier. It was a very entertaining movie. And then

(06:35):
I stayed for Alien Romulus afterwards.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Yeah, that was good one. I liked that.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah, I enjoyed that too. I had a real fine time.
I went and dated myself yesterday, so to speak.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Any of you see the Emmys.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Last ye a little bit, No, I had had it.
I over ate at the theater and so by the
time I got home, I wouldn't even unper football or
anything on the screen.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
We over eight today, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Would you would you dig the most of the Emmys.
One jumped out at you.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
John Oliver's acceptance speech when he dedicated his award to
his dog.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
I absolutely love that.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Yeah, his dog it died, so of course that spoke
to me.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
It was like, yes, Oliver.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
And they had to cut away because he dropped an
F bomb. Yep. Let me let you hear the clip.
This is John Oliver accepting his award and they weren't
like this.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
I also want to think it's gonna be very silly,
odd dog. We had the most fantastic dog and she
was at our wedding and she got us through a pandemic. Uh,
she was with us, two pregnancies and perfect choice of music.
We have to say goodbye to.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Her, and.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
I feel I feel like Sarah mccachlan right now.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Uh. This she was.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
She was an amazing dog. And ouch I would I
would guess I want to. This isn't just for her,
this for all dogs. All yeahs, you're very good boys.
You old deserve a traits.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
That's for all dogs, especially those in Springfield, Ohio. These
lives are in danger.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Get out to get out.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
You know what's funny is that when he thanked his
wife and his kids. His son's name is Hudson, but
he called him husband and he goes, oh no.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
I'm gonna have to pay for that.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
And you know what, I never realized. So have you
ever seen Hacks on HBO either one of.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
You bits and pieces?

Speaker 2 (08:33):
It's really good.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Jean Smart and this actress called Hannah Einbinder who's very
funny in Hacks. Her mom is Lorraine Newman from Saturday
Night Live. Yes, and I was like yesterday year old
when I found that out.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Geez, Lorraine's not with us anymore? Is she is? She is?
She is still alive?

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, is still around?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Doggie?

Speaker 2 (09:02):
You guys ready to go now?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yes, we need to go now.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Fall asleep behind the wheel.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Because uh mondays just blow blow like a hooker on Saturdays.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
That reminds me of the story in The Freaking Fool
File the guy was left in a wheelchair.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
I was left in a wheelchair because he was given
head to this woman who was his boss in the
Senate in the back seat of a cramped car and
he got all jacked up and couldn't walk.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
He had such a good time, and.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
So she had to push him around in a wheelchair
while she was berating him the whole time. You can't
make this shit up.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
No, sex sometimes gets you into very awkward and uncompromising positions,
both physically and emotionally.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
But you still do it. Oh yeah, still do it.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
You know we all got to get there. I know.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
We all got to bust one every once in a while.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
It's for health reasons.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
For that, it's dangerous, dangerous to get Jim back up.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
The two human needs it's food and water and sex.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Uh huh yeah, food, water, sleep, sex, Yes, not necessarily
in that order.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I don't know where that voice came from.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Yeah, exactly. Okay, we gotta go. We'll see you tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a toy Box Tuesday, and of course we'll
have some goodies planned for you to give away those
tickets to experience hinders. Okay, all right, we'll say bye
bye man.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
By, thanks, thank you.
