So Kage The Elephant frontman Matt Schultzis opening up about a mental health crisis
he was facing before being arrested lastyear. In January, he was charged
with a criminal possession of firearms afterpolice found a gun in his hotel room.
He put a statement out and basicallysaid that getting arrested saved his life.
He didn't even know it, buthe was fighting his way through a
mental health crisis. He slipped intopsychosis due to a response to medication.

He was in the hospital for liketwo months after being arrested, and he
had outpatient care. But he's doingmuch better now. They've got also a
new album coming out. Dev Lebertis celebrating the forty the anniversary of the
album that put the band on themap. The box set from Pyromania forty
