Speaker 3 (04:30):
Wow, But anybody running up on you filming you. He
was out shopping, he's with a woman. You don't know
what he's doing if he must to be on camera.
He also asked him to say something very ex rated.

just walk over? How you doing? I'm Kevin. I didn't
want anything. I just was coming to say hello.
Speaker 7 (04:57):
Kevin was wrong for that. You know why he should
have smacked them hard Yoh okay, I think the ecosystem
needs that. We need more smacks, more slams, more slaps.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Well, we do not condone or promote violence, but you
can't run up on people with a camera.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Absolutely, you cannot do that.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
So everybody wants to be funny and I don't care
if it's a celebrity of regular whoever. It is like
people are outside minding their business. Everybody's trying to do
these different things to get views. It's annoying and this
people alone man. All right, all right, now let's talk
about Maxwell. He has announced his Tiny Desk concert is
going to be dropping on Friday.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
All right, So how you feel about that?
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Hi? Jaunty's man, that's gonna be a good one.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Maxwell.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
He did post it behind the scenes video of himself
getting to NPR, and he gave it a little sneak
peek and then he posted tune in August twenty third
from my MPR Tiny Desk.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Perform any song you're looking forward to?
Speaker 4 (05:50):
What's my favorite Maxwell song?
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Hmm?
Speaker 4 (05:54):
You know it's always going to be like the something
something or fortunate.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
Yeah, I like the one all Kelly.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Did for now. That's that's unfortunate. But it is a
good song, great song. It's Maxwell, all right. Jalo has
filed for divorce. It's official from Ben Affleck. They were
married for two years, so she filed for divorce yesterday.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Are you sad?
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Jlo's a serial monogamous man. She's like the bx Erica
Kine you.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Know, she got back together with him.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
They actually initially were engaged seventeen years prior to getting
back together. So they spun the block as a lot
of people have been doing facts. But it didn't work out.
And we were saying this earlier. He always looked unhappy.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah, I mean at this point, but I.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Feel like he looks like that anyway.
Speaker 7 (06:38):
He's from Boston, so that's just their sack factory settings.
But at this point, I think Jalo got like more
rings than Tom Brady Man. She's been married and engage
a whole bunch of times over the last decade.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
She loves love.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
One thing I will say, though, he according to sources,
because everything is according to sources, they're not discussing it directly.
But he's been on this path to sobriety, and you know,
she put out a brain with alcohol, and I guess
he wasn't feeling that and he felt like being out
and doing these different things. And then her taking that
deal was kind of a slap in the face to
his wanting to be on this sober journey.
Speaker 7 (07:11):
It might be a deal breaker if I'm trying to
get sobering you out here with a liquor brand.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
All right, well that is your yet, and when we
come back, we have about last night. Now, beat Out.
I haven't seen you in a few days except on
the Gramy. I saw you getting autograph jerseys.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
You know.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
I saw you with a Jigamy.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
I'm trying to order graph a check but they didn't
work out.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
All right, we'll talk about it about last night, and
that's when we come back. But right now, here's some
asat rocky effing problems this way up.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
All right, his way up, I'm here beat Outs here,
Well it was beat Out, yo.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
I just want to sit back because I want you
to tell me what you did over the weekend. I
just saw you on the gram, Yeah, hanging out with
jay Z getting autographs.
Speaker 12 (08:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (08:00):
I mean, I'm still recovering from this weekend at fan
Fanatic Fest okay here in New York at the Jacob
Javis Center.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
So so that's Michael Ruben's company, Fanatics. And then jay
Z did a pop up forty forty since the original
forty forty close, but he's reopening another one.
Speaker 7 (08:14):
Yeah, absolutely, So I got there. I didn't have a ticket,
but somehow smoked.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
My way in there.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
Nobody, how'd you do that? I don't know, you know,
I just knew a guy I'm gonna beat up. Thank you,
Gay Car.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
So when I got in, I had my jerseys that
I had for Mitchell and because they did a special
issue Rockefeller jay z or jerseys early this year, and
I got him to sign both of them.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (08:37):
Yeah, So it was good talking. I haven't seen him
in the fanatic. I was a fanatic. I haven't seen
him in the year. And it's funny because you think
that jay Z is so up. You know, he doesn't
see everything that's going on, but he sees what's happening
a way up and whatnot of me being here and what.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
So he's okay, he sees you up here on way up.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
Yeah, man, you know, he sends his love.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Some people would credit jay Z with my career.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
I think he would too.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
He would because my first ever big inn of you,
when I was as serious and I was auditioning, was
with jay Z and I got.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Hired right after. Look at that, look a look at that,
won't he do?
Speaker 7 (09:07):
It's good, But it's so interesting when you're around Jersey.
He moves like an apostle man. The people he has
like a handler for a handler. I never seen nothing
like that.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
It was a good time, and you know, way, it's
nice that you could know him but be a fan
still and be like, can you signed this jersey?
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Some people would feel like, I'm not doing that.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Nah seriously though, some people would be like, nah, you
know my name is beat Up. I don't need to
be asking for an autograph. But that's nice that you
can still do that and still be a fan. I
think sometimes people be acting too cool like they're not
fans in real life.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
I'm a freaking ass guy about that, all right.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
I just had never mind. I'm not even going to
say anything. Whoa, whoa.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
That was awkward, A little awkward.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
All right, Well, thank you so much for sharing that
with us, because I saw a lot of people. What
else was the rest of the experience, Like, I just
want to know, because I saw people were at this
Fanatics thing.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
I saw they were a lot of selecelebrities there. But
what else was going on?
Speaker 5 (10:02):
H Trading cards?
Speaker 7 (10:03):
You see kids there, You're seeing all kinds be I've
seen people from high school. It was a great experience though, Man,
it was great so it was like comic con for
sports fans.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
Okay, if you could, you know, put that together, and you.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Know what I've been doing watching Love Island And we'll
talk about that some more in YT because somebody on
Love Island got an amazing situation and an endorsement deal
just from saying that they really like this brand on
the shelves. Yeah, yeah, that's really nice. But we'll talk
about that later. But in the meantime, you know what's

We're not going to talk about that.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
This is yeah, this is secret beat out. You're not
talking about all that. So wait, okay, a couple of
questions here. One, why was he going to leave you?
Speaker 11 (14:38):
I don't know, but I had to leave them before
he left me.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
And you stole his car, so you just drove it
somewhere else, pooped in it, and then left it there
with the doors closed.
Speaker 11 (14:46):
Yep, and the keys on a dashboard.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (14:50):

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Oh my gosh, he is a bold man. That might
have been the one.
Speaker 11 (15:08):

to get him before he got me.
Speaker 3 (15:13):

like to get that detailed.

saying that it's not a nepo situation, just nepotism, that
she really does do a wonderful job bringing the character
Kiara to life. He said, I'm really proud of her,
really proud of the work that she did. He also
talked about Blue Ivy's relationship with Beyonce, saying that their
mother daughter Bond is embedded into the film because Beyonce
(16:27):
did star in the original live action remake of The
Lion King alongside Donald Glover back in twenty nineteen.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
But he said it wasn't because of family ties that
she got the role.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
He said that he approached her with the opportunity after
seeing her Grammy winning voice work on an audio version
of the children's novel Hair Love. He said, as we
were thinking of who could play this character, I thought, oh,
this is it. She's the right age, the right vibe.
Let's test it out. And she was just tremendous.
Speaker 5 (16:51):

Brittney Sanders then went live to explain why she posted
this video because a lot of people. This clearly went viral,
a lot of people were showing their support on social media.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Here's what she had to say.
Speaker 12 (17:58):
I was not perfect and I really relationship and he
wasn't perfect in that relationship. And it's not me protecting him,
but it wasn't supposed to get this far. And it's
so many other women that deal with domestic violence and
silence and it breaks us down mentally.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
So do I have a mental problem, Yes, she has
a social media problem.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
You know.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
I mean it's tough, and she's saying, look a man,
he should not have been putting his hands on her.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
Nobody should put their hands on anyone.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
And once you post that, now everybody is going to
weigh in and have things to say, and he'll be perceived,
you know, for what he did a certain way, and
hopefully he gets the help that he needs in this situation.
I don't know what's going to happen with their relationship
moving forward, but.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
I would think it's over, you know, used.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
To you'd be surprised. You would be surprised. You don't
how many women stay in relationships?
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
All right now.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Cordell Beckham winner of Love Island USA. Uh, he won
season six and we've been watching as the reunion episodes
up playing ow do you watch Love Island?
Speaker 4 (18:59):
I just did it hit him and Serena.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
But anyway, one thing he said on the show early
on before he won, he was talking about what he
wants to do in his life, and here's what he said, So,
I definitely want.
Speaker 12 (19:09):
To do sponsorships as well, like cheese its.
Speaker 10 (19:14):
I can't get enough of cheese its.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
Well, guess what what.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
He ended up getting a deal with cheese Its. They
have a collapse called the Cordisy Cheesy Couple. So it's
a bundle that's available now and while supplies last. It
has his favorite flavors with his face on them, white
Teddar and hot and spicy cheese its.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
I just discovered that's Odell Beckham's brother, right.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Yeah, he did mention that on the show too.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Oh man as well, I get a job man? All right,
well that is your yeat. When we come back.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
We have under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They are flying under
the radar, but we definitely think you need to know
about him as well. For all of you fans of
Sheen and tem Moo, is that how you say it?
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Sheen and Timu?
Speaker 3 (19:57):
For all of you buying clothes from these brands, there's
some drama going on behind the scenes, and will tell
you about it.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
It's way up.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
She's in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
All right, it's way up. I'm here, beat outs here
and let's get into some under the radar stories.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Sheen is selling t Mood for copyright infringement because yes,
you know, a lot of their clothes look very similar.
But Sheen says that Timu loses money on each sale
it makes and uses a trademark infringement to make up.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
For the losses.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
The irony, the irony of it, all right.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
All right now, A team spokesperson says Sheen's audacity is unbelievable.
Imagine speaking of audacity, let's talk about the Democratic National Convention.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Stephanie Grisham spoke.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
She was the Trump White House Press secretary, and she
also said she spent a lot of holidays with Trump's family.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
She was a true supporter, a true believer of his.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
She became basically part of his family and saw how
he did everything when the cameras were often things that
he had to say. Here's what she had to say
when she spoke last night at the Democrat yesterday at
the Democratic National Convention.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
Behind closed doors.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them basement dwellers.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
He used to tell me, it doesn't matter what you say, Stephanie,
say it enough and people will believe you.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
On January sixth, I asked Melania if we could at
least tweet that while peaceful.
Speaker 13 (21:20):
Protest is the right of every American, there's no place
for lawlessness or violence.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
She replied with one word no. I became the first
senior staffer to resign that day.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
See somebody who has you know, And she said, she
puts her country above everything else, and that's why she
supported in Kamala Harris for presidents. And that's somebody who
knows the inside inside school.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
So all right.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
In addition to that, Governor of New York, Kathy Hochel spoke,
and I'm pointing this out because Donald Trump actually tweeted
about her and said Kathy Hokle, the very unpopular governor
of New York, was the nastiest speaker on Monday evening,
as it pertains to your favorite president me, her total
hatred and statements made about me had no bounds.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
I was amazed for two reasons.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Number One, I did a great job in New York,
employed thousands of people, built some of the most beautiful
and successful buildings, and paid billions of dollars in taxes.
Number two is that on the very distinct possibility I
will win the presidency. Want it be better for the
people of New York State to have a governor who
got along with the president. So he don't even want
her to express how she really feels. Well, here's what
she had to say on Monday night that had him
(22:28):
so had his panties in a bunch. The fraud, the
tax dodging, the sham university, the shady charities we've seen
him stiff contractors, rip off workers.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
He abuses women.
Speaker 10 (22:43):
Briggs about it, and then takes away their rights.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
She also tried to get us through congestion price in
here in New York City. So I'm not a fan
of her.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Well, I don't know if that the governor has control
over that. That's actually something that they didn't have control over,
but she managed to delay it.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
Yeah, thank god.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah, no, all right, well that is your under the
radar now. You know we got the way up mixed.
At the top of the hour plus, it is a
Wealth Wednesday, and we have Michelle Anthony, founder and CEO
of Anthony and Associates, joining us as she has been

Speaker 3 (23:23):

her son and Duelle Anthony too.
Speaker 4 (23:28):

Speaker 1 (23:30):

Angelie Jean Man.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
She's spilling it all.
Speaker 5 (23:35):

be any food left. But shout out to Jasminees. We
be here eating our Caribbean cuisine, which I love. They
got mad last week that I was down there getting
my food early.
Speaker 5 (24:00):

Speaker 5 (24:25):

Speaker 4 (24:27):
It's so cute to you. Shure that all right.
Speaker 2 (24:30):

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Gunner and the Black Music Action Coalition have announced a
five hundred thousand dollars initiative. Thirty families in the South
Pullon area of Georgia are going to get access to
a monthly stipend of one thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yes, that's really really does.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
It's a lot of money these days, you know, and to.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Be able to have that monthly stipend that can really
help he help out a family, especially the holidays are
coming up.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
So shout out to Gunning for that. It was a
long way, all right.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Nicki Minaj has teased a tour that's going to be
dedicated to her mixtape output. She said, it's an idea
that she had a while back. She was on X
on Monday, Not Ecstasy, next the Platform Twitter be Clear,
don't do that all right, and she talked about getting
requests for songs they wanted to see performed on a
new tour that she didn't do on the original run.
(25:13):
And she said, uh, you know what, we're gonna say
that for the mixtape tour. Guys, another idea I had
a while back.
Speaker 5 (25:19):
I liked that idea.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
You know, Nikki's mixtape run beating up Scottie like shy Rag,
I get crazy, itty bitty pity. I would love to
see those perform live. But also I like to see
other people performed too.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Yeah yeah, like who like whatever mixtapes.
Speaker 7 (25:32):
Pty Cent, Guess Who's back is the Future Futures mixtape
Bismo ds No Mixed forty six Nights, J Cole Friday
Night Lights to warm Up.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
So this is a lot of you know, there's a
lot of artists.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
As is in the middle of his his well, he
did a residency for the Waters and that was a
big deal, sold out.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
There's a lot of great artists from that blog. Every
don't mixtapes.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
A lot of times the mixtapes is like, are you
sure it's not a real Yeah, So we're putting out
mixtapes that were like actual albums.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
Some people like mixtapes better than the actual album absolutely.
All right.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Now, Oprah recently was talking about just you know, dealing
with different things in her life. She was on the
Today Show and she said, knowing that she doesn't have
much time left, she feels a certain type of piece.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
There is a sense of knowing that there isn't as
much time left, and I am at peace with that knowing.
And there's a sense of urgency about for me about
living well.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
Oprah is seventy years old. People live alonger these.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Days, though, right, and you know, birthdays are a blessing,
like being able to be a year older, and you know,
keep on age is a blessing. It is a lot
of people aren't going to make it this far as
we as we see all the time, we're like, oh, sudden,
says past.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
It's really sad.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
She's done a lot too in her career, in her
life and she's live in a life, a great life.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
All right, Well, that is your yet now when we

iHeart app and you can leave a message that way
(27:23):
as well. We love to engage, so make sure you
engage back all right?
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Right now here is Neo. It's so sick its way
up everybody.
Speaker 6 (27:30):
Six, whether it's relationship with career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
You should know.
Speaker 8 (27:35):
This is as D.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
What's up his way up at Angela?
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Ye, I'm here beat out here with me yop ah
ya already for some ask ye if you have any
questions eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty, we're
here to help you out today.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
We have Kim on the line. What's up Kim? What's
your question?
Speaker 8 (27:51):
So my question is I wan't cheat on my girlfriend
in one time on application and she phoned thoed right
then iPhone that.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
She cheated on me.
Speaker 8 (28:00):
Where X so I'm wanting should in a relationship like that?
Speaker 4 (28:05):
How did she find out?
Speaker 8 (28:07):
I texted my phone?
Speaker 4 (28:09):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
And then she went and as a reaction to that,
she cheated with her ex. How did you find out
about that?
Speaker 8 (28:14):
I see the text message in our phone.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
So you guys are going through each other's.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
Phones, right, it's like hitting with the reverse.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Oh no, card man number one. Going through each other's
phones is always a beginning. Yeah, it's always kind of
a beginning to the end. And then the fact that
you did something she found out and then her way
of remedying the situation was to do it back to
you with somebody who she has history with.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
That's a little crazy too. Do you still love her?
Do you want to be with her?
Speaker 8 (28:44):
I still love her?
Speaker 9 (28:45):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (28:45):
I was trying to wreck because we have a child together.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
It feels like if you guys want this to work,
y'all definitely need a reset. Y'all need to go through
each other's issues and see why did you do that?
Why did she respond the way that she did? Has
this stop? How can you guys rebuild trusted? Can you
have access without having to go through each other's phones.
She even told you she went on a date with
somebody else.
Speaker 5 (29:07):
She don't care at that point.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Right at that point, it's kind of like in your face,
I want you to feel bad and I want to
hurt you, but she wants to hurt you because you
hurt her.
Speaker 8 (29:15):
She got the person in the apartment that we were saying, whoy.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
That is next level. It feels like you guys need
to figure out.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
If you want to do it and go all the
way and go hard, or if you need to just
say this isn't working, it's not serving me well because
there's a lot of things I hate to use to
wear toxic, but there's a lot of toxic things that
are happening, and if you guys aren't on the same page,
that's going to just keep on happening until it runs
its course. Sometimes we get really used to being in
a dysfunctional relationship and we think it's normal, and the
(29:49):
things that you guys are doing is not normal for
people who.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
Love each other.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Right, I would focus on being co parents right now,
and maybe you do need to take real time apart
to see is it worth saving this, because that time
apart can help people feel like either I feel better
without this person or I need this person in my life.
That's sure, all right, good luck him? All right, all right,
(30:14):
thank you your apartment.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
That is bold.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
She really don't care, all right?
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Well that is ask ye eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through. And
when we come back, it's a Wealth Wednesday. We have
Michelle Anthony and we have Antwelle Anthony joining us. We'll
be talking about government contracts, We'll be talking about Awelle
Energy and what do you need to do if you
want to also achieve wealth.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
It's abouth Wednesday. It's way Up.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Join us for a priceless conversation with MasterCard on the
state of black wealth in America. Hear from social impact
leaders helping to narrow the wealth gap, and learn about
resources you can access. Head to Weigh Up with Angela
Yee on YouTube to tune in, don't miss it.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Kind a dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing
my wealth dog getting you straight financially, mentally, and physically.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
This is Wealth Wednesday. On Way Up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
What's appics? Way Up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela yee.
And of course it is a Wealth Wednesday. So my partner,
Stacy Tisday is here and we are really excited to
have Michelle.
Speaker 13 (31:18):
Anthony, who has been joining us as our guest co
host this month as we celebrate black businesses this month. Yes,
and most important celebrating how black businesses can scale.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
And you have done that. Our audience knows you.
Speaker 13 (31:32):
They know what you've created with Anthony and associates, but
you have a eye on a bigger prize. And I
know for you this is about generational wealth and you're
actually creating an energy company.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
So tell us a little bit about that.
Speaker 9 (31:46):
Yes, I've done well with government contracting, but the legacy
is going to be this energy company. And I'm very
honored that I was able to get into energy because,
as you know, there are not many people that look
like us that are going to be able to do
anything from a global scale with energy. And because of
(32:07):
my government contracting, I've been able to leverage that in
order to prepare myself and my four children.
Speaker 13 (32:13):
Say that again because of your government contact.
Speaker 9 (32:17):
Yes, because of the government contracting, knowledge, experience, relationships.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Opportunities have come my way.
Speaker 9 (32:23):
And there's an opportunity that came my way about three
four years ago regarding a graphene energy solution for a
graphene smart battery. And you know, to try and explain
graphene a little bit, I try to make it, you know,
for our people. When we saw black panther, it was
by vibranium, right, and so graphene is like vibrainium. Can
(32:44):
remember how strong it could take the bullets and you
know every time, you know, it would just absorb the
energy and all that. So graphene is the strongest substance
right now known demand. And so when we found out
about the smart battery, and I started talking with my
children because I wanted them to understand. You know, I've
always been trying to groom them the whole way about business. Well,
and Duelle, my son's sitting here. He would always say, Mom,
(33:07):
government contractor is boring.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
You know.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
He never wanted to do that, he never had an
interest in it. But I found an investment with a
hydrogen company many a few years back, and I introduced
him to it. And from that point forward, between investing
and in between learning about clean fuels and clean energy,
he grasped that right.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
And so that's why we're and that's important for his
generation and the generation after us. You know, a lot
of times when we think about climate change and things
that are important now, some people don't care because they're like, oh,
I'm not going to be a lie for that anyway.
But when you think about the next generation and the
generation after that, it matters so much. It does even
when it comes to real estate and where you're planning
to live. Yes, there's places that will be affected so
(33:51):
much by climate change. When you think about, you know,
all of the mudslides, when you think about being underwater,
when you think about the wildfires, all of those things,
that's all because of climate change, and it disproportionately affects
communities of color, it does, you know.
Speaker 9 (34:06):
We were talking about that, and what's so sad about
that is when you look at the statistics, it actually
shows that we cause the least amount of damage, but
we've paid the highest price. And Dwellie and I were
talking about, you know, whether nuclear reactor plants where everything
that can be harmful, those things are strategically placed near
communities of color, you know, and that is a problem
(34:29):
because at first I didn't look at it that way.
You know, I grew up in the hood, and I
didn't understand that that was systemic. There is environmental injustice. Absolutely,
We're at the top of that.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
All right.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Michelle Anthony is here. She's the founder and CEO of
Anthony and Associates. On this Wealth Wednesday. She's the founder
of Anduele Energy and we also have her son Anduele here.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
It's way up. We got more when we come back.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dog.
Speaker 6 (34:55):
Getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is Wealth Wednesday.
Way up with Angela ye?
Speaker 4 (35:01):
What's up as way up with Angela yee. I'm here.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Stacy Tisdale is here. It's aid Wealth Wednesday, and we
have the founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates as
well as Angewelley Energy, Michelle Anthony alongside and Dwelly Anthony her.
Speaker 13 (35:13):
Son shall tell us exactly what this energy company does,
our energy company.
Speaker 9 (35:19):
What it does is with the smart battery of Most
people are familiar with the batteries that Tesla has and
they use lithium, and lithium is very harmful to our environment.
Lithium has to be mined and so one of the
things that the company is doing is making sure we
produce a product that is environmentally friendly, is biodegradable, it
(35:39):
can charge three to four times faster than a lithium battery,
is non explosive. So we've also gotten now graphine solar panels,
so grafphene can absorb up to ninety five percent of
the Sun's energy. No regular solar panel can absorb that.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
That's amazing.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Let me tell you something about these solar panels because
I have solar panels on my house now and I've
never had that. Yeah wow, And it's amazing for the environment,
but also for your pocket.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
Oh yes, yeah.
Speaker 9 (36:05):
So so if we put the graphine battery and we
pair that with your the graphine solar panels, we're able
to take.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
You off the grid.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
It's a wealth Wednesdays.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Stacy Tis Dill is here and we're talking to Michelle
Anthony and her son and Duelle Anthony.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
We're discussing and Dwelle Energy.
Speaker 13 (36:21):
I mean, you could just leave your kids' money and
they never have to think about a worker again for
the rest of their lives. But you have a different
definition of generational wealth.
Speaker 7 (36:29):
I do.
Speaker 9 (36:30):
People aren't making opportunities for black males in a corporate
or professional setting for them to be who they really
can be. So to see him get in this space
and thrive and want to learn and be passionate about,
you know, making sure we help others, you know, because
it's not just him. Now, I have my three daughters
as well, so all of us came together and they
(36:51):
agreed that he would be the namesake, and so all
of us are supporters and they're all we're all co
founders together, and he's going to on that leg of
the business. And then my daughter Kiara, she is right
now the VP of Business Operations at Anthonine Associates, but
she's being groomed to be the president. I'll be the CEO,
but she's going to be the president. Then my youngest daughter,
(37:13):
she loves creative writing, screenwriting, and media, so I'm looking
for her. I will be able to push her to
lead the media company. And then my other daughter that's
the r N because I have twins and she loves
real estate. So I also do real estate, and the
government does do real estate transactions.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
Okay, I have my real estate license.
Speaker 9 (37:34):
So also all four of them, I'm positioning all four
of them to have the knowledge for one, and then
have the ability to manage and transact money as a tool.
Speaker 13 (37:46):
But you can open doors for somebody with all the
connections and contacts and opportunities in the world, but they
still have to walk through it. What are the important
lessons you're teaching them that will allow them to thrive
in these corporate cultures that.
Speaker 4 (37:59):
They're in order to get respect, you got to give respect.
