Speaker 1 (00:01):
She's like the tut like the Angel Jean, like they
angel jee.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yeaky way.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
All right, his way up at angela. Yee I'm here,
Mano's here border.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
I had him spill that yeeze.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
All right, Well, let's get into it.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Lamar Odom was in Vegas and he went to go
see real doll or a doll.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Listen, let me tell you something.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
So he went on a tour of the facility and
there's all these like female sex dolls and also male
sex dolls with you know, huge organs.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
I'm so he was in the facility, you know, checking
everything out. The dolls go for between eight and twenty
thousand dollars, but they gave him a good deal so
you get to custom order what you want. And he
wanted a doll that looks like his ex. Here's what
he was saying.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
It's crazy because it looks what she got blood running
through her veins right here.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
And I love you, am I going crazy?
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Look from realism?
Speaker 6 (01:01):
Yeah, so you can get it to look like yes,
whoever you wanted to look like.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Lamar Odom's manager, Gina Rodriguez, told TMZ that he wanted
the doll to have voluptuous curves in the face of
his ex wife Chloe Kardashian, and that he thinks that
this Chloe like sex doll will be perfect because he
can do whatever he wants with her sexually, and he's
trying to get it before the holidays, so, uh, he
wants to make sure he has it. Yeah, it does, right.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
So you're going to like, what be in a relationship
with the doll?
Speaker 4 (01:35):
And yeah, I know, Chloe's like, OK, just the doll.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Well, no, that's just him touring the facility, and I
guess that's what he wants the doll to look like.
The picture, does that look like Chloe Kardashian to you?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
He gonna hit the doll like all.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Right now, if you're looking to buy a house, Diddy's
Beverly Hills mansion is for sale, but it is not
attracting any buyers. They're saying only a few potential buyers
have even walked through the mansion and nobody has shown
any interest in actually purchasing it. So they said it
could be because of you know, the charges of things
(02:12):
that happened there, and also the real estate market slows
down around the holidays, so it's not an easy time.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
But yes, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
If somebody decides to do that, they're probably going to
end up selling it for way less what you want for.
I'm not sure what the listing prices right well, sixty
one I think sixty one million dollars. Yeah, that's what
they're asking, but they're not going to get that. And
you know they have the extravagant tax in California and
LA right now on properties that are that expensive, a
(02:41):
luxury mansion tax.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
All right.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Ernie Hudson is talking about some of these wild Hollywood
parties and how he managed to avoid a lot of things.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Here.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
It was some pretty wild parties. But I would be
at a party and I had friends would come up
to me and say, Ernie, you might want to leave now.
I would always leave, and then I find out later
there was some weird stuff going on and people whatever,
and I'm like, I So I always had people who
kind of look out for me.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
And that was on the Smitty and Deep podcast. It's interesting.
And that's Earnie from Ghostbusters.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
I know what that is. I've seen him here before.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah, he was up here before.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
You know.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
It's interesting.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Somebody was telling me the other day about they would
go to parties, some of those parties, and then when
it was time to leave, there would be a few
people that didn't leave, and they were like, I guess
I wasn't invited to like the after after thing. I
would just be like, Okay, isn't it over going? Just
some of those parties, you know, I'll let them tell
their story one day.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Maybe. All right, well that is.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Your yet when we come back, we have about last
night where we discussed what we did last night. I
told you I was at DJ Clark Kent's funeral, and
then I was also at a pop up restaurant for
Chef JJ that was pretty amazing.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
All right, its way up?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Whoa? So about last night?
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I went down It's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here,
my guy Mano is here. Good morning, Good morning. What
did you do last night?
Speaker 6 (04:13):
I was doing some work, you know, and unfortunately I
didn't know about Clock's.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Funeral, so I didn't make it.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
Oh yeah, by the time I found out, by the
time I would have got out there, it would have
been like after six.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Well, yes, his funeral was yesterday at Christian Cultural Center,
passed to a ar Bernard's Church, right, I know that
church in Brooklyn. And when I tell you, it was
amazing all the people. First of all, I've never heard
nobody say anything except positive things about DJ Clark Kent. Absolutely,
and to see his family there, to see so many
people that came out to show love and support, it
(04:50):
was amazing. So again, rest in peace to DJ Clark Kent.
He's definitely a legend. His documentary is going to be
coming out soon. And they definitely were playing pieces that
you know during during the everything that happened yesterday during
the funeral services. And then after that, Chef JJ, who
(05:10):
I do the cookout event with right at the Wine
and Food Festival. I'll be at the Miami Wine and
Food Festival with him as well. He had a pop
up restaurant called The Glory here in New York, and
so I left from there and went to the Glory
and it was an amazing, amazing It was like jordan
was there from Lip Service. I didn't even know she
was going to be there here, Jordie Joor, she was there,
(05:31):
but it was just you know, a really dope experience
to see it's inside of a church. So when you
go outside and you're walking up, be like, this is
a church. I don't know what this is. It's this
place called Inside Park, and so then you go inside.
We had our reservation for eight, me and my friend
Ingrid who owns I Best Wines, and so we went there,
ordered a lot of stuff off the menu.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
It was really good.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
It's a lot of seafood, so you know, I don't
need seafood, but she loves seafood. But I also had duck.
I don't eat duck often, but they had a jerk duck.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I meant to bring it in today because I've put
I got something to bring in because I knew Dan
would like it because he's a FOODI yeah, jerk duck,
which I've never had. He said that was his favorite dish.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
On the menu. And then we had an amazing dessert.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
But it was a lot of you know, great people
in the room that we had a chance to see.
Our friend Jasmine who works with Asus Spades was there.
Shout out to.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Aaron from Unilever.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Just a lot of powerful women in that room and
it definitely felt like the energy that I needed right
now to go in that room and see like all
these amazing people who I've known for a long time
in this industry, and some new friends that we had
a chance to meet. So shout out to everybody who
came out, and thank you again to Chef JJ for
an amazing experience. The glory he owns Field trip. So
(06:42):
if you see those restaurants.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Duck, I don't eat chicken. Some I'm thinking, can I
eat duck?
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Yeah, you can eat whatever you want, just eating chicken.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
It's been a year.
Speaker 4 (06:51):

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 4 (07:11):

somebody says today.
Speaker 1 (07:15):

her treasure living at the door, and best friend.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Who did you like?
Speaker 4 (08:08):
The best cousin?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Oh my god, so so you was doing all this
and in the same era though, right, oh yeah, I
want right now?
Speaker 4 (08:20):
How do we know this is real?
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I'm showing everything.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
I love, everything you love?
Speaker 2 (08:26):
What do you love?
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Did you love any of that?
Speaker 6 (08:33):
I wanted to try to have a relationship a lot
of them.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Which one was the worst?
Speaker 3 (08:37):
The one?
Speaker 4 (08:37):
That one was the relationship of course.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
When was that one there?
Speaker 7 (08:43):

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Thank you for calling the phone said, no, we don't

Speaker 3 (08:48):

I guess my stupart does.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
I want to? I want to fight somebody to keep
on testing my baby, bringing on my baby like, no fight? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Who do you want to fight?
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Somebody? Kidsbody want to fight somebody? Would you want to
do that?
Speaker 10 (09:07):
Somebody?
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Somebody's grown kids, grown kid?
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Okay, when you said a kid, I was like, oh,
I'm not beating up kids.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
No, I don't do that. I work at a daycare.
I got to boy, my god, make it look. I'm
definitely for the kids. But somebody keep on bullying on
my baby.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
Okay, I don't even hit my kids, right, you want
to hit somebody else?
Speaker 7 (09:26):
Kid?
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Though?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
So what do you do when you're angry to kind
of get it out?
Speaker 3 (09:31):
She beat people's kids?
Speaker 4 (09:32):
She wants to, but she's not gonna work.
Speaker 9 (09:34):
No, don't get me kind of tell me for no
counsel or nothing.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
I work at a daycare. Yeah, better not beating them
kids in there, I tell you that right now. At
for real?
Speaker 4 (09:42):
She said a grown kid.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, as a kid. You don't know.
Speaker 8 (09:45):
He told my kids.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
He told my kid, don't like you ain't thinking without
your big brother.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
My kids is twelve, fourteen and three.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
All right, so what do you do when you get mad?
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Like?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
What?
Speaker 4 (09:55):
How do you let that out?
Speaker 1 (09:57):
No?
Speaker 3 (09:57):
No, I just be singing.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Well, thank you for thank you for calling.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
And Sharon, you like that, you just have sex, you
know what. I'm practicing my advice to you. Don't.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Okay, yeah, you need to let something out, definitely.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
All right, well, thank you, thank you for calling and
good look, all right, well that was tell us a
secret eight hundred and two nine fifty one fifty in
case you couldn't get through. And when we come back,
we have your yet, and let's talk about DDG. He
is taking up for his uh, well, his child's mother,
Hallie Bailly. She as you know, had some things to
say about him going on livestream. Then she took it back.
(10:36):
So now he's explaining that he don't want y'all coming
at his baby mama.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Okay, it's way up, Joe.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
She's about to blow the lead ab off this five.
Let's get it. Angela's feeling that yet, come and get
the tea.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
It's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here, My guy Mana.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Is here, baby.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Yes, let's get into this yet.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
And in New Orleans today at five pm, Beiji is
gonna be on with my guy Wild Wayne.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Here is what that sounds like with the promo with
Jim Man.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
It is bach ak a beach Schisel even number one
original how Bought Men And I needs y'all to torne
and in a few with me and months though, wildweezy baby.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
All right, so get ready for that that's actually gonna
be today.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Notice my guy, I know you've been saying that, so
I'm excited to hear what he's gonna have to say
after the whole Hot Boys reunion and everything that's been
going down. So shout out to my guy Wild Wayne too.
All right, now let's get into DDG. We've been talking
a lot about Halle Belly her reaction to her son
with DDG appearing on Kai Sanats stream. Halo is the
(11:42):
name of is their son's name, And initially she did
not like that, but then I guess no, she didn't
like that DDG brought their son Halo on the stream.
She didn't know about it. She was out of town.
She found out what everybody else. But then she said
she did overreact maybe and she shouldn't have brought it here.
She said, I know that Halo is always safe for
his dad. I just don't like finding out with the
(12:03):
rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank
you Kay for the gifts for Halo, because Kyles and
I did give them some gifts and I think she
rethought it and listen. She also explained that she's having
severe postpartum me and so DDG did defend her and
did defend her reaction.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
I don't like when people hate on Hallie.
Speaker 11 (12:24):
I don't care if people think she's wrong or not,
or if I think she wrong or right. She could
be going through something mentally after having a kid that
I can't understand as a man. So when situations like
this happened, had I try to handle it with as
much grace as possible because Halo needs her, I need her,
We need each other to create a childhood that's safe
(12:47):
and fun and memorable for him.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
All right that I love that.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
That was good?
Speaker 4 (12:53):
I like that all right.
Speaker 9 (12:55):
Now.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Another thing that happened on this Kaysinastian.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
He's been doing a lot, all right with this, with
this whole stream athon. But anyway, people think that Quavo
and DDG have beef because of Quavo getting a little
spicy with him. They were playing what's the game Mafia?
And I'm here's what happened?
Speaker 3 (13:13):
And nobody on the other side.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
No, Like, if you move, you feel to feel it.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, everything. If Mafia, you live right out of choosing
you be. Oh not, He's Mafia, so you live to
know instantly. So it's always good to be like.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Over there over there?
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Would staying over there because too close? Why would are
staying over there?
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Though?
Speaker 3 (13:34):
I got what game is Mafia? What game is that?
Speaker 4 (13:38):
I don't know? I don't play. Should we learn to
play Mafia? There isn't this whole It's like.
Speaker 12 (13:44):
A It's a game where you play with like a
group of friends where basically everyone's like assigned a role,
but the whole group doesn't know what each person's role is,
and the whole concept is kind of like try and
figure out who's what. So like there's a person that's
like a hitman, and a hitman's job's to like kill everyone,
but the whole group needs to say who's the hit man,
and the person who's the hit man is going to
try and manipulate the group to make to make you
(14:04):
think someone else is.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
It's like a man thinks this is triggering.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
It's honestly a lot of fun. Clearly, it's a lot
of fun.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Maybe it feels like is getting a lot of money
to do this mafia than stream too.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Absolutely, we need to play it. It's a lot of
fun with some drinks too.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Oh my goodness. All right, well, there you have it.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
And another thing that happened during this dream is that
Quava was definitely getting very emotional. You know, they played
his tribute to take Off and and you know this
tribute listen.
Speaker 9 (14:40):
The same.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
And he was like definitely singing along and just looking emotional.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
So what a time.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
They're happened though, all right, well that is your yet
when we come back, we have under the radar. These
are the stories that are not necessarily in the headlines.
They are flying under the radar. Okay, and because it's Friday,
let's play some neo sexy love.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
It's way up in the news.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
That relates to you. These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
All right, it's way up with Angela. Yee I Angela, ye,
of course. My guy Mana was here, got these papers
on the flock. You pick it up for me. It's
right by your foot. I didn't throw he head dropped
these papers for.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Under the radar. All right, got it, thank you?
Speaker 3 (15:22):
All right.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
The FBI is investigating these racist texts that have been
sent across the United States after the elections. A lot
of people have got this message telling people you have
been selected to pick cotton.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Oha got one of those.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
He did, absolutely, and the nearest plantation.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Oh wow, I've seen that yesterday.
Speaker 10 (15:41):
Right.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
So they are supposedly going to investigate, but these were
sent to black people, including women and children, like in Alabama, Calli, Pennsylvania,
New York, Ohio, and Tennessee, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
So they're looking into it.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
I thought it. Oh wow, this is crazy.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
Mm hmm, yeah you thought it was.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I thought he was joking, right because he sent it
in a group chat.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
I'm thinking like he was joking, right, But I didn't
realize that people actually been getting these.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Yeah, it's the same you know, it's the same texts.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
All right, Now let's move on to this.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Now that Donald Trump has won this election, people are
talking about what some of these repercussions could be. In particular,
there are a lot of people that are on his
list of I guess you would say enemies, just because
they may have done things that you know, call for
accountability from him. And one of these people that is
(16:41):
on the list of people who Donald Trump is surely
going to target is Leticia James. James and you know
she is the person who she's the attorney general here
in New York and has made Donald Trump has to
pay four hundred and fifty four I think million dollars
in restitution for trumping up what his value is and
(17:03):
getting loans with these trumped up numbers. Right not to
use the word trump too many times, but anyway, here's
what she had to say once Donald Trump won, we.
Speaker 13 (17:11):
Will not compromise our values, or our integrity, or our principles.
We did not expect this result, but we are prepared
to respond to this result. And my office has been
preparing for several months, and we are prepared to fight back.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Once again, she talk like she's in a mafia.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
I mean, that was like mobbish, because she already knows
what this is about to be. Now, you know, he
had to pay a four hundred and fifty four million
dollar bomb payment as part of this civil fraud case,
and she's doing her job right as far as making
sure he's accountable. Well, an attorney who's on the short
list of people who could potentially potentially be Donald Trump's
(17:51):
attorney general in his administration had this to say, I dare.
Speaker 14 (17:56):
You to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump
in his second term because listen here, sweetheart, We're not
messing around this time, and we will put your fat
ass in prison for conspiracy against rights, and I promise
you that.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
So that's Mike Davis.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
So yeah, definitely sounds like somebody he would have point
into that position of attorney general.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
So we'll see what's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
But that whole thing sounded so awful, so condescending, so degrading,
so retaliatory awful. So that's and this hasn't even started yet,
so just think of it like that. So we have
to be very vigilant. That's probably why Chis James had
to talk the way that she did, Knowing things like
this or what's going to happen retaliation for enforcing the law.
(18:40):
All right, well that is you're under the radar. We
have the Way up mixed at the top of the hour,
and we have somebody who is amazing. I was going
to say delightful, but I don't know if I've ever
used that word. Mecca Honora is going to be joining us.
She's the executive producer and director of Meg the Stallions
in her words documentary that you can see on Prime
his way.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Up the Rooms from industry shade to all the gossip
out Angelus feeling that.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
It's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here and of
course my guy Mano is here, all right. And Rihanna
has been trending because she was at an event for
a fenty Beauty's launch in Barbados last night and she
got on the mic and said, this music was the
(19:28):
thing that got the attention, but Guy had other plans
for me, and I will be able to create in
ways that it was very sincere.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
And genuine or organic and the things that I love,
So doesn't even feel.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Like a job.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
People are speculating that this means that she is no
longer going to do music.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
She's not saying that she.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Just said music was the thing that got the attention
but got out of the plans for me.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
That don't mean I guess she's.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Not gonna do music.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
I don't believe that, because it's a whole big thing.
Now people are like, whoop, that's it. Rihanna officially retired.
I don't feel that that's what it is, because we
also keep hearing about her being in the studio, about
her making music.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
And speaking of music, the twenty twenty five Grammy nominations
are in. They have been announced this morning, so this
is kind of breaking news. Oh no, okay, all right, Well,
Beyonce leads all of the nominations with eleven thanks to
her Cowboy Carter album. First may have been snubbed at
the Country Music Awards, but at the Grammys, you know,
(20:30):
we're all in. She's the most decorated artist in Grammy
history with thirty two wins, and now she's also the
most nominated with ninety nine. She was previously tied with
Jay Z for the most nominations, and now she has
surpassed that. Kenjuck Lamar has five nominations, including.

three thousand, Yeah, Beyonce, Cowboy, Carter's in a Carpenter, Short

Speaker 6 (22:10):
For Who listened to that and was like, oh, this
is it, this is the uh we need to he
need to be uh?
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Who sat back on that.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
I was definitely surprised about that.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
I was like, this is.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
It, but I'm not gonna lie. I listened to the
album a little bit.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Once, so I can listen to it a little bit too.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
I can't really judge, but I was surprised.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Just like music playing, it was a flute plan, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Now, Best R and B Album Chris Brown eleven eleven Deluxe, Layla, Hathaway, Vanca, Black,
Money Long, Revenge, Lucky Day, Algorithm, and Usher Coming Home.
Speaker 4 (22:45):

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Usher.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Oh yeah, Usher Coming Home. I'm not gonna lie. I
did like Money Long's album. I like Money Long, all right. Well, anyway,
those are just some of the things you guys to
get ready for the Grammys. We're excited to see and
as much as people may act like it's not a
big deal, it is for these artists, and so congratulations
to everybody who was nominated. Now, one more story here
(23:13):
in this Yu Team Diddy, according to an ex associate
of Ditties said he's filing a lawsuit against his mom.
All right, not Diddy, but this ex guy, this ex
associate of Didti's is filing a lawsuit against Diddy's mom.
And according to Dion d one Best, he was on
Daily Mail's podcast The Trial of Diddy. He says that
(23:35):
did he use his mother, Jannis's name to hide artists
publishing rights, including deals that he said he brokeered in
the late nineties, and he says his company, Finish Line
Entertainment signed artists a Diddy who worked on various albums
for Bad Boy, including Biggie's Born Again, which reached platinum
status and sold over one million copies.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
But the way that he says.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
That did he allegedly organized his business deals took publishing
rights from him and the artists who worked on the
songs and to them and got all of their future earnings.
And he said all of his publishing rights went to
Janis Colmbs.
Speaker 6 (24:05):
You're not that's just the name of his company. You're
not nobody just taking your publishing without you signing. You
did the deal, bro.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Right, So you know what we're gonna see.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
I don't know how this is going to play out,
but he said he's planning to sue Janis Combs and
her company because the deals were signed to her name.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
All right, well, that is your ut.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
When we come back, it's a Friday, said, it's a
new music Friday. We got to tell you what's out today.
One person in particular is trending today. Will tell you
about that. It's way out everybody, whether.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
It's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts. This is
aske what's up?
Speaker 4 (24:43):
His way up with Angela?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yee, I'm here, My guy Mano is here, and if
there's time for ask yee eight hundred and two nine
two fifty one fifty any question. I'm here with the
award winning advice giving Mano. All right, and we have
LJ on the line.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
What's up, LJ? Hi good? How are you?
Speaker 8 (25:00):
I'm pretty good? I actually have a question.
Speaker 15 (25:03):
I just really want to know we did it for
come normal or females to not properly watch them lift
smell and the smell like you hadn't watched your.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
It might be some people doing the walk of shame
after a night out or not showering in.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
The fact that your mind went, it's.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Worse than that. What type of car is it?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Because is it like cloth seeds so that the smell
is sleeeping into the seat?
Speaker 8 (25:36):
It's r model?
Speaker 1 (25:37):
How is it when somebody staying to get out the
car and then someone else got to get in?
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Because anythin it's.
Speaker 8 (25:41):
You down, like all the way down, all of them.
I don't care what the type is.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Do you give them a bad rating? Because you know
the drivers get to rate the passenger.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Really, yeah, I surely do.
Speaker 15 (25:53):
Oh my gosh, would you take this rider again?
Speaker 8 (25:58):
And absolutely?
Speaker 1 (25:59):
But what are you say to them? Do you let
them know? Because maybe they need a little motherly direction.
Speaker 8 (26:05):
Who seem like they're open to taking But it's a
few of them.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
You can't because you should have you should buy you
like some breeze or something and just spin around and
just spam them up like spread just spray them up.
Speaker 8 (26:23):
You know you can phrase automatically, no, I have that.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (26:28):
And then when they be like, oh, what what are
you doing while you spraying and be like yo, you stink,
just tell.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Them maybe you should get the glass that goes up
and say you don't smell it.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
In the French yeah, like a partition. I'm sorry to
hear that.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
First of all, as as you know somebody, if you
don't really know these people, it's hard to tell someone because.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
You also want to get good ratings.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
And I can imagine if you tell somebody they stink,
you know, they'll give you a one star.
Speaker 8 (26:52):
You try to tell them politely. Oh have you said?
And so you.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Can help you like what episode do you use or not?
Speaker 3 (27:02):
You just hand them some soap and some wipes.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Well, I'm sorry to hear that. For you, it just
makes the job tough. Just look at yourself as maybe
like a sanitation worker. Yeah, screen, they gotta deal with
all kind of smells.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Is it that bad?
Speaker 4 (27:24):
It's like a dump truck. Have you ever dealt with that?
Speaker 16 (27:27):
Man?
Speaker 3 (27:27):
O never?
Speaker 4 (27:28):
Oh, all right, well that was ask you.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Eight hundred tune nine two fifty one fifty is a
number that was asked.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Ye.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
When we come back, Nikka, Honora is going to be
joining us, and you're gonna love her story. From an
Internet b et to the director and executive producer of
Megan the Stallion's number one documentary on Prime Video. Okay,
Meghan the Stallion, in her words, she's gonna be joining us.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
It's way up.
Speaker 16 (27:53):
Anybody, yes, but you're all being waiting.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
For You're tapped in a way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Its way up with Angela Yee. And this is exciting
for me today to have the Emmy Award winning Niga
Honora here with me this morning.
Speaker 10 (28:10):
Thank you so much. I'm happy to be here with you.
I'm so proud of you. By the way, for your
show in general, thank you.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
I'm proud of you.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
I mean, listen honestly, and for people who don't know you.
Directed and executive produced Meghan The Sallion in her Words,
where she got to speak in her own words about
everything that kind of happened. The focus was really the
Tory Lane's situation in trial, but we got some backstory
before that as well.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
And I remember when you were working on this, how
long did you film for?
Speaker 16 (28:36):
It's been three years of filming this movie, so it's
been a long time coming. I was there with her
a lot of the time during twenty twenty two, which
was a very tumultuous time. So when I met Meghan
the first time, we were supposed to meet for an hour,
it turned into a three hour meeting, crying session, and
really need getting to know her. And so when I
saw her and I heard her story, I was like,
(28:57):
I have to tell this girl's story just because she
was experience and a lot of pain. And I always
like to give a safe space to women. So I
had to reassure her that I'm a safe space for
you to be able to tell your story, and I'm
just a conduit and a vessel to be able to
share women's empowerment.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
So I first met her before she even signed her deal.
Right when she came to New York. We had her
on lip service and she was with her mom. Oh wow, Yes,
it was early for her to have certain conversations, but
her mom was just piping up, you know, weighing in
on the conversation, and she was like ma like, and
it was so cute to see their dynamics. So it
was shocking when her mother actually passed away, and she
(29:32):
addresses that also in this documentary. And I know that's
a hard topic for her to even talk about, because
after that she would do interviews and they would ask
us specifically, please don't bring up her mother. And so
for you to be able to have her just openly
talk about everything. That was my first time really hearing
all of that, and.
Speaker 16 (29:50):
You know what, I really wanted to focus on the
connection that you have with mother and daughter. You have
a strong, powerful black woman teaching her daughter the ropes.
Miss Holly was a rapper first, so I really wanted
to highlight the fact that she was really like teaching
her and showing her the ropes because she was already
a Houston rapper. And so I wanted to show just
her helping build Meghan as an artist because she really
(30:12):
got it from the mud. And I think a lot
of people see Megan the Stallion now, but I really
really wanted to show how she came up.
Speaker 10 (30:17):
She was performing in front of ten people, twenty people.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
You've seen that.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
Right now, I'm talking to Nakka Onnara.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
She is the executive producer and director of Meghan the
Stallions in her words documentary on Prime Video. But let's
talk about your background a little bit, because when I
first met you, you were a young intern at BET.
Speaker 13 (30:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
I was for Steven Who Yeah, and so at that time.
Speaker 10 (30:41):
You knew this was your path one hundred percent.
Speaker 16 (30:43):
You know, I started off as an intern, worked my
way up in television like in the BT era, you
know when everybody's watching MTVVH one music video era doing
small documentaries.
Speaker 10 (30:53):
There did my own documentary the same difference, which blew up.
Speaker 16 (30:56):
I got to do it in AMC theaters everywhere and
became my entrepreneur for myself, and.
Speaker 10 (31:02):
Then you know, led all that into winning an Emmy.
Speaker 16 (31:05):
But through and through, I wanted to be able to
give people a voice that didn't have it and be
able to like do films on my own terms.
Speaker 10 (31:13):
And I'm not stopping. I'm about to go into scripted.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
So that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
And there is something special about you though, because it
ain't like we remember every person that we come across,
but I remember you from when you were first getting started.
There's something about you that is like you could see
this young woman is like motivated and she stands out
for some reason, and I'm sure that's why people feel
compelled to even like have these conversations with you.
Speaker 10 (31:35):
Thank you. I'm passionate.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Mecca Onner is here with us today.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
She's a storyteller, she's a director, she's a producer. She's
got the number one movie on Prime with Megan thee
Stallions in her words. She also directed Lizzo's Watch Out
for the Big Girls, and you'll hear a lot more
from her. But in the meantime, stay tuned to hear
more from Mecca on way up at the Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
About to Domos to frame this women, and we're.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Talking about angela Ye. You're way up with angela Ye.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Please believe that.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
What's up this way?
Speaker 1 (32:06):
But Angela Yee, I'm here and my girl Nekka Onar
is in the building. You know her as the executive
producer and director of Meganis Stallions. In her words on
Prime Video. Now, one thing that went viral the day
that this came out was Gail King. She wasn't honest.
She did lie to Gil King and she said it
on there, which I thought was amazing. But her rational
for that was, to me just very honest and human. Look,
(32:30):
she wasn't expecting that question. What does that have to
do with anything else?
Speaker 16 (32:34):
But she's like, yeah, I lied, Like my body, My
choice is all I gotta say. And I don't think
anybody has to answer any questions about their body and
what they do with their body in private. And I
don't know why she was asked that, but she was,
and I love that in the documentary, she's so candid.
Me and Meg, like it was we built this intimacy
where we could just be real, you know, with each other,
(32:54):
and she shared that and I respect her for that,
and I think a lot of people online are relating
to that ex experience.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
Right now, I'm talking to Nikka Anara.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
She is the executive producer and director of Megan the
Stallions in her Words documentary on Prime Video. There are
some moments that are may feel like a small moment,
but it's very indicative, like the jalapeno chips is one
of my favorites. She just want some vlopeno tipsy And
it's something like that that.
Speaker 10 (33:19):
It relate to that, like have you ever you wanted
one thing? And then it just turned?
Speaker 16 (33:25):
It turns side with that was really that was the
moment that me and Meg became really close because you
you hear my voice in that scene like I'm like,
why you don't want to eat?
Speaker 10 (33:33):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Like?
Speaker 16 (33:34):
And she just told me Because a lot of times
I didn't hear anybody asking Meg how was she doing?
Are you okay? How'd you sleep? So I always was
that person for her, like I was like, how'd you sleep?
Did you eat something? I'll ask her the questions, whether
she want me to or not. I just wanted to
check in with her, and so in that moment, she
finally opened up to me. So that was actually the
first moment that break. Yeah, we broke, that's why you
(33:56):
hear us laughing, and we just finally And that that
moment was so con thar because after she left, she
got back up, she went to the Billboard Awards, won
her Billboard Award, performed Plan B and it was up
to see so many lows.
Speaker 10 (34:08):
That was such a beautiful high that she re empowered herself.
Speaker 16 (34:11):
We talked about it. She went to the bathroom, came back.
Let's get it, like you know, and sometimes you just
need to let it out. And that's that's the space
I wanted to provide, is like, just let out how
you feel and you know, we'll get through this.
Speaker 10 (34:23):
We're gonna get through this.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
That moment in particular just really stood out to me
for some reason because it shows her just like breaking
but then being silly. But then it's sometimes those small
things that could just make you be like, oh my god,
everything's going on.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Well I think.
Speaker 16 (34:38):
I think the smallest things are so universal. And I
made a choice as a director not to cut the
camera at all in those moments. Every time something was uncomfortable,
I sat still.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
Well, congratulations to our Emmy Award winning friend.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
That's a big deal. Some people act like a wars
don't matter.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
It's nice to be able to say Emmy Award winning
Beca is here with us today.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
So congratulations is well deserved.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
I could feel like the heart in this that you
put into it and the trust that you were able
to develop with her. So hopefully when people watch this
they get a better view on who Megan thee Stallion is.
Speaker 10 (35:13):
Thank you watching on Prime Video right now, Megan the
Stallion and her words.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
That was Mekka Onnara joining us and you can watch

but anyway, I want to thank Mekka Onnara for joining
us today. Make sure if you haven't watched Megan Thee
Stallion in her words, in her words, did you watch
the whole thing? I definitely watch the whole thing.
Speaker 9 (36:03):
You know.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
The most interesting part of that documentary about MEGANE. Stallion
was seeing all the hate that she was getting, like
from people with platforms. So shout out to Neka for
really gaining the trust of meganis Stallion. You can watch
that foot interview on my YouTube channel Way Up with Ye,
And of course this is your show, so you have
the last word.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Let's get it.
Speaker 9 (36:25):
My secret is that I am currently sleeping with my roommates,
but we do have two other roommates who are not aware,
so it's just our little secret and has been for
the last seven months.
Speaker 8 (36:36):

These last few years have been hard on my daughter,
but she has managed to pull through and she's shining.
Speaker 11 (36:55):
In her life by fun.
Speaker 9 (36:57):
I'm very proud of the man he has become and
the father that he has always been to his.
Speaker 8 (37:03):
Baby at birthday, silent hasy first birthday.
Speaker 9 (37:07):
And my youngest son whom I.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
See my problem child.
Speaker 9 (37:12):
I'm sure that day he's home.
Speaker 8 (37:14):
After seven years and prospering in the things that he
is doing today.
Speaker 9 (37:19):
I love y'all.
Speaker 8 (37:21):
Mama will always have your back.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
Going way out with Angela Yee
