(00:00):
It's night Side with Dan Ray.I'm Deeli Feasy Boston. All right,
welcome back everybody. It is thetwentieth hour of the week, which is
the final hour for Nightside. Andby the way, I will be off
next week. Gary Tangway, Ibelieve, is in Monday, Tuesday,
and Wednesday, and Morgan White isin on Thursday and Friday, and then

(00:21):
I believe, and I'm off acouple of days the following week, but
I'll be back on July tenth. So that's one of my rare weeks off
during the year, but that isone that I will be taking off with
incorporating the July fourth holiday as well. Now, first of all, I
always like to go through what wetalked about this week, okay, and

(00:44):
I'm going to go through it veryquickly, but just to give you a
sense of the breath of the issuesthat we've covered this week. A lot
of it has been on Karen Reid, and a lot of it has been
the run up to the Trump debate, to the Trump Biden debate, and
the reaction to the Trump Biden debateas well. But in the eight o'clock
hours this week, we've covered withCara basket of the Boston Globe sixteen best

(01:07):
Beaches in New England. Talked aboutit being a safer someone with you from
someone from CBS. Talked about theclearly frozen ice with an inventor Jim Blakelee
Blakeyet. Talk with Jim Keys aboutyoung people who are not interested and necessarily
education or working. They're kind oftaking it slow getting into the workforce.

(01:30):
Talk with Jack Olivery about the problemswith the Norfolk Migrant shelter. I think
that despite all of their efforts, they're going to open that prison to migrants
out there. Talked about the NewHampshire teacher being fired for helping a student
procure an abortion. Talk with KevinDuPont about the train of the trade of
Bruin's goldtender Linus Elmark. Talk withAj Burns about fireworks. Harriet Friedman about

(01:59):
the Southern New England Center Stage theater. Dan Mazzella about bad Boston traffic.
Talked with Jeff Robins about his newbook, Notes from the Brink, And
we did spend two hours Tuesday nightof the Karen Reid case. We went
back to the Karen Reid case onWednesday night for two hours and also previewed
the Trump Biden debate. Earlier onWednesday night, we talked with an author

(02:21):
and life coach, Elizabeth Hamilton Greno, talked about the problems of als with
Indo Nouvar, talked with attorney JeremyRosenthal about the suspicions surrounding Matthew Perry's death,
and talked about artificial intelligence to actuallycatch Alzheimer's earlier with a researcher from

(02:45):
Boston. Then we again last nightwe previewed the Trump Biden Trump debate,
watched the debate and people reacted toit, and we've done that very much
tonight for two hours. And thenon earlier tonight, we talked with a
Tavy chief Bill Nodden, who's aBosston well a Massachusetts native. Its Boston
Navy week with historian Patrick O'Donnell.Talked with Matt Brown about coping with his

(03:13):
horrific hockey injury which put him ina wheelchair, but it has not stopped
his spirit. His spirit is indomitable. Talk with doctor Miles Jenkin about alcohol
addiction. And now in the twentiethhour, we are going to ask you
to join the conversation. And Imade a I don't want to call it
a pledge, but a promise thatevery final Friday night of every month.

(03:38):
We started this in March. Asa matter of fact, if you go
back to March, the first timewe did this, it was really close.
There were twenty seven votes. DonaldTrump had thirteen, Joe Biden had
seven, and RFK had seven.Donald Trump has won the Again, it's
not a scientific vote, but DonaldTrump has won the vote in late March,

(04:02):
late April, and late May.Now it is late June. Tonight
is the last Friday of June.So therefore we are just going to open
up the phone lines and you cantell us who you would vote for if
the election were held today. Ourintention is to do this every final Friday
night of the month at eleven o'clock. You know, we do the twentieth
hour, and we try to bea little bit lighter, a little bit

(04:23):
more entertaining. But I just thinkin a presidential election year, with as
much at stake, it will beinteresting, interesting, interesting to see how
our audience involves. It doesn't evolveover time. So only one line open
six, one, seven, two, five, four, ten thirty.
This is the hour. Even ifyou called earlier, this week, you

(04:46):
have a hall passed to call backand if you want to tell us whether
or not you were influenced by lastdebate. Last night's debate, I think
our riff kate might have might pickup some votes as a result of this.
We'll see. We had that soundbye from Chris Cuomo earlier when she's
asking our FK does he want torun as the Democrat? I don't think

(05:08):
Joe Biden would step aside to allowour FK to run for some reason.
I just sense that he won't givehim secret service protection. So let's start
it off. Let's just get rollinghere, give everybody an opportunity. We're
going to go to Marty down inSaint Augustine, Florida. Marty, how
are you tonight? And welcome pleasureas always. Can I just mention one
thing and this will lead to whyI will vote for Donald Trump. I've

(05:32):
always been into Okay, one thingthat your erudite callers didn't mention as far
as I remember. As recently,we had the price of gas drop pretty
pretty considerable drop, and if I'mnot mistaken, it was because Joe Biden

(05:53):
let out some of the what isit strategic gasoline reserve. Yeah, strategic
oil. We can check this outnow. In the past, we have
tapped into the strategic reserve during likeseventy three and seventy nine when we had
the Arab oil and bargo. Butthis guy is the biggest crook you could

(06:14):
imagine. He's trying to make pointsand also at the same time dangering and
dangering this country. I would votefor Donald Trump. I would always vote
for him, and I encourage everybodyto vote think about the country and not
about yourself, because you're not votingfor Donald Trump because you want to be
his friend. He's a millionaire.I can't keep up with him. I

(06:36):
can't go to the restaurants he goesto. I don't play golf. But
we're voting for him because we wanthim to be the CEO of the Republic
of the United States of America. He's done it before, He's done a
pretty good job. We're not votingfor him based on you know, who
he hangs out with, or hispeccadillos, whatever you want to call him.

(06:58):
So I'm voting for Donald trum Trump. Everybody else, if you have
a brain, votes to Donald Trump. Okay, I'm sure people will some
will agree, some will disagree.Marty has always appreciate you call. Have
a great weekend down in Florida. Will be back with more votes for Donald
Trump, maybe Joe Biden, maybeRFK. We'll get it all going here

(07:18):
and just join the conversation. Theonly line open right now is six one
seven. For those of you whosometimes get frustrated that callers are on too
long, you won't have to waitthis hour. Let me tell you,
we will get to everybody quickly.I'd love to get twenty twenty five votes
in and let's see how let ussee how it falls. We'll be back

(07:41):
on Nightside right after the break. Now back to Dan ray Mine from the
Window World night Side Studios on WBZNews Radio. Let's keep rolling here.
Who's up next? I lean inhll, I lean you are next to on
nightside? You you're hell you heldover from last off. You want to

(08:01):
make a quick comment of the debate. Feel free? Okay, okay?
Thank you? First of all,Robert F. Kennedy Junior. Yes,
and what what I would like tosay? Somebody said, oh, he's
against vaccines. That's horrible, andI want to say, yes, it's
good that that he is not justaccepting any pharmaceutical substance that's manufactured. There

(08:28):
are people who've had problems with VAvaccines, especially the combinations of vaccines,
and uh, it's a it's areasonable thing to question. And that's basically
what I wanted to add. ButI got you down as an RFK vote

(08:54):
yes. And I wish he couldcould be a Democrat or Republican or one
of part of the regular party. But I guess that's not gonna happen.
But I think it's not likely. But but you can win, you can
hope. Hey, Eileen, we'lltalk soon. Okay, thanks so much.
Thanks, okay, a good night, yep, thanks Dan, good

(09:16):
night. By keep rolling here,we're gonna go next. Now we're gonna
pick up the pace a little biton Mike in the North Show. He
held over as well. So Mikeand Bill, you get a quick comment
if you want, Mike about thedebate. Hear me, I can hear
you? Fine, go right ahead, go ahead with Donald Trump Trump.
By the way, all right,we got you. Were you influenced by

(09:37):
the debate last night? Oh no, it was a joke. Joe Biden's
Joe Biden is not in reality andI'll tell her, you pay attention,
it's jill Us behind all this sortof stuff, pushing him. I wouldn't
be surprised if it's her, ifyou pay attention to that, her always
there enticing them. Oh, Joe, you answered all the questions like what

(10:01):
are we talking about? Five yearold? Oh my god, I heard
that clip you played. I listenedto it. I mean I can really
Yeah. Oh, he did agood job today after us because he's on
a teleprompter. If we can't doa teleprompter, he has no crewe.
All right, I got you in, Mike, appreciate your call. Thank

(10:22):
you much, Donald Trump, thankyou all right, I got you down,
that's for sure. Okay, DonaldTrump breaks out to an early ly.
Let's go to Bill and Danvers.Bill, you can comment on you're
the last holdover from the last hour. Feel free to comment on last night's
debate briefly if you like. Yeah, well, I mean, you know,
it is what, be honest withyou. I don't know why a

(10:43):
lot of people were shocked, youknow, and I actually believe the media
for a lot of it. Butthat's fine. I mean they're responsible for
a lot of things, you know. But uh, and also, to
be honest with you, I'm alittle shocked at the quickness of his deterioration
to an extent, and it shouldwell the whole country because we're in a
dangerous, perilous time. And funny, I ran into a few guys I

(11:05):
hadn't seen today. They kind ofbrought that up to day too. So
I mean we're talking guys probably myage, a little older, that's a
little grayer and wiser and remember afew things in history, you know,
So it's not a great time.I definitely vote for Donald J. Trump,
and I would walk over broken glassto get to that ballot box.

(11:28):
Let me tell you, because asRonald reag had famously said, you were
better off now than you were fouryears ago. And actually you should do
that in a poll, Dan,you should ask people that fair maybe we
can do we can do that some. But I want to do this presidential
poll every month, every final Friday. Maybe we'll do that on a Friday
night. And want to know, because you're an intelligent guy, Dan,

(11:50):
and you like the follow up onthings if you ever have time. Doctor
Phil's been doing some interviews and he'sbut he did one with the Donald and
I haven't watched the whole thing.I started today at the gym. But
he did one with RFK and he'sgonna ask to do one with Biden.
And it's a pretty uh he's apretty good interviewer. So it's an interesting

(12:13):
thing. And I pay attention. And you know, even though I'm going
with the Donald, I still payattention to read and follow up with everybody
else. Well, I appreciate yourcallers. Always have a great weekend.
Happy for the July build. Youhave to get by. All right,
let's go to Lola in uh inSan Diego, or as they San Diego.

(12:35):
Hi, Lola, how are youa lot of town? And I'm
voting for our FK if I haveto write them in. And I was
on the debate club in high school. That was not a debate. That
was not a real debate. Noneof the questions was answered by either person.

(12:56):
I saw the commentators ask again, this is the question. They did
it very gently. It wasn't likethey hit them, you know, square
in the face. It was like, you still have forty five seconds to
answer the original question that I asked, Yeah, exactly, And so there

(13:16):
was no in my opinion, inmy experience, that was not a debate.
It was well, I think, yeh, yeah, I understand what
you're saying. I think that theyhad some strict rules which were abided by.
But I agree with you. Younormally, you know, look when

(13:37):
you when you talk about debates, they should be a back and forth.
It wasn't much back and forth. There's a lot of them back and forth.
You're a liar, you're the worst, this is all of that.
But yeah, it wasn't much ofa of a rat tat tat on ideas.
And I don't think that. Idon't think CNN wanted that. They
wanted to have uh, some clarityin people's positions, and if you didn't

(13:58):
find clarity in the positions of eitherone, I think Kennedy should have been
involved in the date. In myopinion, absolutely, That's why he's not
involved because they're afraid of him. They're both afraid of him. They won't
square off with him. Well,he would be. He would be a

(14:20):
stunning surprise if somehow, some wayhe were elected president. I mean,
his own family is not supporting me. I know, I know that.
Here's what I'm afraid of. AndI think I told you before Trump's going
to get elected by the people, but this electoral college is going to change
the way the vote goes. Justgo back to when Hillary got elected by

(14:45):
the people and the electoral college tookover. Well, the electoral college is
pretty simple. It's not the total. We don't count up your vote,
my vote, and everybody's ruled acrossthe country. Have fifty different elections.
It's actually fifty one elections because Ibelieve that the district of Columbia has three

(15:05):
electoral votes, so you can winthis. You know, a candidate can
win the state of California by fivemillion votes. But if they win you
know, Ohio by one hundred thousand, in Wisconsin by one hundred thousand,
in Pennsylvania by one hundred thousand. You know that's this is where the elections
are decided. I'll tell you rightnow, California is going to vote Democratic

(15:26):
in November. Let me be thefirst time. I already know that.
I already know that. That's whatI'm saying. So it comes down to
how, and the electoral college isdetermined by each state has two senators and
in addition that you get to addthe number of members of the House of
Representatives. So in Massachusetts. Wehave two senators, nine members in the

(15:48):
House of Representatives. We have elevenelectoral colleges, we have eleven elections.
Understand, I understand it. Idon't like it. Let the people decide
to get their electoral college. Well, well again, the problem is,
you got a constitution. If youwant to give rid the electric College,
you got to get rid of itby a constitutional amendment. That's that was

(16:10):
what the founding fathers set up andthat's what continues to this day. Simple
as that, I understand that youwould have had you would have had al
Gori's president, and you have hadHillary Clifton and president in twenty sixteen.
Right, I'm just saying. I'mjust saying I don't got to feel that

(16:30):
my vote, I don't feel thatmy vote really counts because the electoral College
interferes. It interferes. Okay, fair enough. Again, I'm not going
to Givevince you, but I appreciatethe call. Have a great weekend and
a happy fourth and I'll talk soon. Okay, Thanks, go on,
and happy pre birthday July eighth. All right, thank you, thank you.
Okay again, I'm going to keeprolling here, going to try to

(16:52):
get a cup at least one inbefore we have to go away, Matt,
you were next on nightside, Matt, who's it going to be?
Hey? Then? Who will be? Three letters D J T Donald John
Trump, absolutely no question about it. So no votes for Joe Biden,

(17:14):
two votes for RFK, and fourvotes for Donald J. Trump. And
will say that Ronald Reagan, Imight get the quote a little bit wrong,
but said for Republicans, every dayis July fourth, but for the
Democrats, every day is April fifteenth, you know, tax day, And

(17:37):
that's good. He's got to gottena lot of good ones. But I
said earlier on the pregame with Iforget how to pronounce your name, but
Maria Yea aka Lady Lightning, Yep. It was everything Biden's done in his
political career has been terrible. Ido not as a person respect what he's

(18:00):
done there. But it was sadto see. I thought about my parents,
I even wrote that who were elderly, and seeing how out of it
he was, I mean, yeah, but then again today he looked pretty
good in North Carolina. I'll tellyou that he was. He it looked

(18:21):
like a different person. To behonest with you, Well, they take
your conspiracy theories out there. I'lltell you that, but I understand that.
I understand that, but I willtell you that maybe it was the
telepropter. But he delivered as asthey they would say in the old days,
politically, a stem winder of aspeech. He had the audience there,
I mean these The funny thing aboutit was it was the Democrats who
said no audience, microphones get muted, and all of those requirements that came

(18:48):
back to haunt Joe Biden last night, I think. And one thing I'll
say quickly on that is they saidno notes or no whatever the word would
be, no, you know, yeah, I mean no notes or no
anything. But I saw Biden maybehe was writing his own notes down as
it went, and I saw himreading. They had notepads, they had

(19:10):
they had blank notepads so they couldkeep a note, but they couldn't bring
you know, what you would callcheats cheat sheets up there. Matt,
I got a fly. We'll talksooner. J Don John Trump, you
got you. Let me go toBarbara in Southboro. Barbara, three women
have voted the other third woman tovote both of you, colleagues. Prior

(19:32):
women have voted for RFK what sayyou, Biden? Definitely he was.
He was horrible on the debate, and he had they said he had a
cold. I don't wonder if hehad some sort of you know, of
course, seaton or drug or somethingto keep him from coughing, because he
seemed totally like a space shot today. I listened to him in North Carolina,

(19:56):
I think, and it was likethe old five and he was back
to normal. Well he was.But the difference that the point that was
made today was last night, you'reup there and you're on your own.
You have no idea what people aregoing to ask. The difference between that
and a speech and the telepropter.Could that be the difference. Well,

(20:17):
I think that's part of the difference. I do. But he also had
just Trump stands and next to him, badgering him, lying like hell,
and I just really the debate washorrible. I don't think they should have
had that venue. I think theyshould have had people. Biden warms up
to people, and I think hewould have been more dynamic. He wasn't

(20:42):
dynamic at all, but ironically, and he wasn't all the rules of the
debate, as I understand that wererequested by the Democrats. They didn't want
a studio audience. They didn't wantmicrophones to be open, they wanted muted
microphones. Well, I get themuted microphones from previous debates in twenty sixteen.

(21:04):
That was just horrible, right,But the point is that if the
if the microphones were Donald Trump wasvery disciplined last night. He was more
disciplined than I've ever seen him.Yeah, it was, and that was
his best debate. I mean Ithink, uh, look at look at
Jim James Pindle of the Boston Globe, and the Globe is not, you

(21:29):
know, favorable to Trump. Hegave Trump a B in the debate,
which I thought was a fair grade, and he gave Biden an f f.
Yeah that's a Tomorrow's Globe. Yeah. I was going to give my
a D two, but you andI are soft writers. Okay, thanks
Barbara, thanks for calling the show. You're welcome. Hope you enjoyed the

(21:52):
party last week. Uh, whichparty are you talking about? Which one?
Flynn? Flynn Flynn f l yn then Flynn. I wasn't at
a party. You're talking about EdFlynn? No, Jim, Oh,

(22:14):
yes, yes, Well that wasmore than a week ago. You're talking
about the sixtieth. No, whenyou said party, it threw me off.
It was the sixtieth anniversary James Flynn'sordination as a priest in the Catholic
Church. I loved it. Itwas a great event. Drove out there
and I met so many people.I must have talked to you. Now

(22:37):
now it's coming back to me.I'm the one that cut your address for
his fiftieth and got your address forhis fiftieth in the party. Okay,
all right, now it comes backto me. Okay, now, I
well I should have said south BoroSaint Matthew's Church. That makes all the

(22:59):
sense of the world. Thanks, and I'm sorry all of a sudden,
I'm thinking I wasn't sure initially ifyou said Quinn I had been invited to.
Yeah, no problem. Just shouldhave said father Flynn. That's one
of the great priests. And not, by the way, not a bad
golfer either. He'll and he'll tellyou so. Thanks. A golf tournament

(23:22):
on the twenty ninth of July afundraiser if you're interested. Okay, I'm
in another product of the state rightnow. Okay, thanks Bob, donk
you soon. Good night. Gottatake a break, Okay, So Joe
Biden's on the board, Rfk's onthe board, Donald Trump's in the league.
Joined the conversation back right after thisBoston's News Radio. All Right,

(23:52):
welcome back, everybody. Let's getto as many people as we can.
Bill in Pennsylvania, Bill, ifthe election were held today, who would
be Trump, Biden or RFK?I'm going to vote for Trump. Man
there, And I can make acouple of comments please. First comment is,

(24:12):
uh, there's nobody that's uh hasthe fortitude that that that Trump has.
I mean, all they've known atthis guy for the for the last
six seven years, and he's stillstanding. The guy is fearless, and
he's a fighter and fight for America. And the other thing is, I

(24:33):
don't know why anybody else can't seewhat I think is obvious is that Joe
Biden, all these years, withhis with his son Hunter, has been
an abler. And and and thelast the last thing is, now we
know why Biden's Department of Justice willnot release the the audio of of Biden's

(25:02):
interviews with the with Robert h RobertHurt, the Special Council. Now we
know, Now we know exactly whythey won't release those And I wish that
I wish that somebody would leak thoselike these people leaking everything out of the
Supreme Court all the time. Andby the way, Biden's d O J
lost a couple of big big oneswith the with the uh rulings, and

(25:26):
Katanji Brown actually voted with the withthe the conservatives on on the bench there,
and I can tell you that Trumpis going to be the next president.
Well, you've covered a lot ofground. The Supreme Court ruled against
UH the the federal government placing monitorson fishing vessels, which would then have

(25:49):
to be paid for at a rateof seven hundred dollars a day by the
fishing vessels, which which we talkedabout on this show. Yeah, the
they limited the interpretation of a statuteas it applied to some of the January
sixth protesters. You're right, you'reright, and your issue on you know,
you talk. President Biden today saidthat you know, when you get

(26:12):
knocked down, you get back up. Well, Donald Trump's been knocked down
many times and and Joe Joe Bidenover these years, Dan is not taking
care of his son Hunter. He'san enabler. Well, that's the other
problem. You know. The otherproblem is that I got to be honest
with you. I'm going to disagreewith you on that. I think that
I was a TV reporter for manyyears, and I saw many kids who

(26:34):
grew up in dire circumstances turned outto be great, great adults. And
I saw many kids who grew upin great homes and they lost their way.
So it's tough to you know,I mean, it's the luck of
the draw. In my that's myopinion. We've been lucky with our kids.
But hey, Dan, Hey Dan, if Biden cared so much,

(26:56):
he's always saying about he always talksabout his son of Bo, the other
son Bo Biden. If he caresso much about the military, how could
he ever forget that on his watch, thirteen of our best soldiers were killed
on that debacle. And I hearyou on that, and I think that
that was a I think that's somethingthat that will be remembered by a lot

(27:19):
of military people, now right,Yeah, that was that was unacceptable,
inexcusable, whatever phrase you want toinexcusable, because it tells you where his
heart really is at. Okay, thank you, sir. Thanks Bill,
we'll talk soon. Okay, allright, all right, gonna pick it
up. Now, pick the paceup, everybody, let's go. David
Norton, Dave, you next tothe nightside. Who will it be if

(27:41):
the election were healthy? David?Hey, let's tell brother, how are
you? I'm doing great? Hey, So I don't know why president or
possible presidents in the debate need toare you about their handicaps? Great point,

(28:03):
great point? Needs needs to stayout look like a bunch of cheoches.
You know, that's number one.And that was kind of my only
point. But here we should havemade We should have made that point.
Thanks for backing me up on thatone. Thank you. Yeah. And

(28:23):
you know what, Daran, you'rea lawyer, and well do you think
what's going on with this caen Reycase. Well, here's the deal.
I talked a lot about that.I'm stunned the jury is still out.
But obviously it might be a Durorholdout, or it might be that the
jury is working on some sort ofa compromise verdict. But we'll see what

(28:48):
happens beginning on Monday. You wantto you want to tell me who you're
going to vote for? If theelection were hell tonight. Honestly, Yeah,
it's sad to say it. Iprobably wouldn't vote to put it down
as a no vote. You're thefirst person in four nights, four fridays
that have called in with a novote, but I respect it nonetheless.

(29:08):
Thank you, Dave. Talk toyou soon. Have a great night.
Yeah, love you, my man, right back at you. Thank you
much, appreciate it all. Imiss Laurie, how are you? You
know, after the debate last night, I feel like we've won the super
Bowl. I have been just absolutelystressed out about if we get four more
years of Biden, which it probablywouldn't happen. They'd get him elected and

(29:30):
then they find something else. ButI feel I mean, there's nothing against
Biden personally. I just I'm sohappy that some of these things that I've
been seeing for years are exposed alittle more nationally. So I'm happy.
And I'm still voting for Trump,Okay. And I want to say,
you know, if people are votingfor Biden, they're voting for the puppet

(29:52):
master. And we don't know whothe puppet master is. This is the
United States of America. You votefor your president, You don't vote for
the puppet masters. That's a greatphrase. I'm just putting it, putting
it out there for people. Letme just say this, don't be surprised
if that phrase of Laurie and ohand Idaho is not picked up. Okay,
who knows, because I think thatthat is a concern that many many

(30:17):
people have, Laura, I hopeso I felt it for a year.
So anyway, I know you're tight. And I've called before tonight this week,
so thank you, and have agood weekend, a good week weekend,
have a good vacation. I've seenit about ten I'll talk to you
about ten days. Okay, allright, good night, Thanks Laurie.
Let's keep rolling here. We're goingto get as many people in as weekend.
Donn and Abington. Where are theBiden voters? Where are the Kennedy

(30:40):
voters? Go ahead on you nexton nightside man, the right one.
I'm a whimp Who I really loveis Can that be all right? Well?
There went nothing whimpy about that.Go ahead. Wait, I got
a little but Trump. I'm notTrump Biden. Okay, Okay, I

(31:07):
have to I have to vote forBiden, all right, because I just
don't think Bobbie, not this year, not this sear well, he's seventy
years old, so his his presidentialDay's campaigns are the hourglasses slipping on him.
But okay, yes, I realizethat too. All right, don

(31:30):
I love the guy. Okay, man, I appreciate you calling. We'll
talk again, Okay, thank youso much. Yep, just he dropped
off on this. Okay, thatcan happen sometimes late at night. Steve
and Bill Rick and Steve going toget you in here under the wire.
Go ahead, Steve, Hey,Dan, how you doing? I hear

(31:52):
you are your trucking along there?Or no? I am. I just
got out of Janet Jackson concerts,so I'm pretty psych so all right,
all right, how'd she do you? Well? Oh she's amazing, amazing,
put on a she did thirty ninesongs and she's still like as if
she's twenty five years old. Soanyway, I am going to chime in

(32:15):
with the debate was horrible. Andanyone who thinks that Trump did well,
I wouldn't call someone who bullies andlies someone who did well in a debate.
Biden did terrible, I give youthat, But I just couldn't stand
looking at Donald Trump with his liestalking about dead babies and the Democrats wanting

(32:42):
to pull babies out of the womb. I also have a statement about what
he did during his presidency and callingthe press, the free press, fake
news that was an atrocity to Afghanistan. I'm a military guy, thirty three

(33:02):
years in the Air Force, andTrump set Biden up for a fall by
not pulling out during his administration. And when people talk about thirteen lives being
lost, it could have been ahell of a lot worse. So that's
my take on that. So soI'm guessing. I'm guessing you're either Biden

(33:25):
or Okay, which one is it? Because they got a roll. Yeah,
it's fine all the way, andno, I'm talking. I want
to talk to you November. Biden'sgonna win by fifteen million votes. I'll
call you then take it. Ihope you. I hope you called me
back. You remind me. Stevefrom Bill Rica from the Janet Jackson contest
called it for fifteen million. ThanksSteve, a great have a great night

(33:50):
about all right, we take aquick break. The only line open right
now is six. We got NicoLeland and Glenn and Roof you at six
months seven nine, Biden and RFKdoing a little better. Is Donald Trumps
still on the league? We're comingback. We're coming back on Nightside.
Now back to Dan Ray live fromthe Window World Nightside Studios on WBZ News

(34:15):
Radio. All right, let's keeprolling here. As we head towards the
midnight hour and I head to afew days of well deserved vacation. There's
a Glenn and Brighton. Glenn, you were next on Nightside. Go right
ahead. Hey, I'm glad totalk to you before vacation. I didn't.
I couldn't get through this week.Your lives was really busy. It's

(34:35):
been a busy busy it really has. That's I'm glad you got through tonight.
They'll go right ahead. Yeah,I am voting for Trump. I've
been a Trump prefer, you know, for a long time. But I
will say there are two things. While we were saying I agree with number
one, I was on the debatingat Perkins School. I was not a

(34:57):
debating squad. And I didn't considerthat a a debate last night either.
I thought it was a lame conversationbetween two people. I mean, I
know it was really it was amongfour people because you had to include Tapper
and and well they were the rulemakers. But Tapper and what bash parts.

(35:21):
But they were needed. Yeah, interesting name. She bashes Trump every chance
she got. They were very fair, both both data backs. They were
fair last night. They were extraordinarilyfair. And you know the ones I
have to give. The devil isdue. And many of my my friends
like you who are critical of themainstream media or particularly even CNN and MSNBC,

(35:49):
they've they've been no one's criticized them. They did a good job,
all right, So we got youin for Trump. And I agree with
what with point on the electoral college. I would have for example, I
know Hillary would have won in sixteenshe got there, but I could have
lived by those wolves. I wasnot a I know, we'd have to
have a constitutional convention to get ridof you. You have, you'd have

(36:14):
to you have a constitutional amendment.Right, you have to go through two
sessions of the Legislature of Congress andthen be approved by three quarters of the
states, thirty eight states. Andthat's a big hill. That's a big
hill to part glad. I gottalet you run here, Okay. I
have a good vacation couple. Boy, thanks much, we'll talk. I'll
give you a call. We'll talk. Yeah, give me a call.

(36:35):
Yep, talk to you soon.Good night. Thanks, let's keep rolling.
You're going to try to get everybodyin Leland in Jamaica. Plane Leland,
welcome, you're next on nightside.Go ahead, Leland. Thank you,
Dan and you have a good forumand it's helpful in uh making up
one's mind. But but what whatstrikes me is that they say you get

(37:00):
the government that you deserve. Correct, And I'm thinking about is this the
best we can do? And youlook at in the past. I have
been talking about that for months. So we're a little tight on time here,
so going to ask you to giveme your your vote. If you
want to make a quick comment,I feel free, but I don't have

(37:21):
time to do a whole minute.A couple of minutes here, go ahead.
Well that's why I said your formis good because I'm still in the
process of, you know, makingup my mind. Because what what the
callers have said is helpful with makingup one's mind. Okay, so let
me ask you this. If theelection were held today and you had to

(37:43):
vote, and it's seven thirty anight, on Tuesday, November fifth,
and you're there. Who would itbe? It would be Biden? Okay,
I got you in for a Bidenvote. Yeah, Biden's doing better
tonight then then he has in thelast couple of you know something. You're
good. There's a reason why youwere a good reporter and a lawyer because

(38:05):
you got me to actually, youknow, do it? Thank you?
Yah, that's all right, noproblem, we pulled the truth out.
No problemsgs Leland, doctor, keeplistening. Have a great night, uh
Nico and heybril Nico, has anythingwork out on that story? Don't get
into the details here, but didyou did you make a connection on that

(38:27):
or no? I did and itdidn't really didn't. It didn't really pan
out all no problem, no problem. We'll talk about it in gredel leg
privately. So tell me who wouldit be if the election were tonight.
I want to preface the statement bysaying that I think that he's kind of
like the acid that my grandmother usedto give my mother back in the seventies

(38:49):
to induce vomit. But I thinkI would have to vote for Donald Trump.
I think that I think that he'sa it's a it's a it's a
medic it's a it's a disinal thingthat that the federal government needs. Okay,
so, Frank, your mom usedto give your grandmother an ass the
way around A the wayer. No, it's it was the it was the

(39:12):
medicinal acid that parents used to givetheir children when they're choke, When they
were choking on something, I said, oh, I get it. I
know, yeah, I got it. And I just the one more thing.
The only thing that really annoyed melast night is when Jake Tapper started
the debate by saying, when Bidentook office, a basket that was worth

(39:34):
one hundred dollars is now worth onehundred and twenty. I don't know where
they're shopping, Okay, I don'tknow. It's obviously not the mulis because
it must be one hundred and fiftyto one hundred and eighty dollars. And
that that that, I think lessenedthe real emotion. Nico. I think
what you were saying was that whenyou take the nine percent inflation rate compounded,

(39:54):
even though it's been you know, three or four the last couple of
years, it works out to abouttwenty perc sent compounded I think that's where
where he was coming from. Okay, okay, and if you're a bapsing
guy, so you know how todo the math. Okay, Yeah,
all right, man, you gottago. I got two more I'm gonna
get in. No more phone calls. We're gonna get two more in and
then we're gonna finish. John andBraintree. John, you gotta be quick

(40:15):
from me. I got you underthe wire and someone else. Go ahead,
John, eleven years military, Dan, never been political, Thank you.
I voted for mostly Republican, butindependent forever vote mostly not mostly Republicans,
Reagan, Bush, those guys ClintonI voted for and Obama only because

(40:37):
of I was. And who's gonnabecause we're flat and running out of time,
go ahead, who's it gonna be. I don't love I don't love
Biden, but I gotta be honestwith you. I don't understand how people
can vote for Trump. I justdon't get it. But definitely Biden.
So Biden, Okay, we gotyou in. I appreciate that very much.
Biden did better tonight than we expected. To be honest with you.
Thanks John. Let me go finallyto Karen and Lemonster. Karen you're gonna

(40:59):
be the last caller for a longYeah. Okay. I just want to
say, if I had to votetonight, I'd vote for Donald Trump because
I think he's gonna make the Americaall prosperous and it's gonna be a happier
place. Fair Enough, we gotwe got it all in. We got
it all in tonight. Give theresults real quickly here. Thanks, Karen,
