always lights up the phone when I have this gentleman on,
and I think this is at least the sixth or
seventh time I've had him on the phones. Go crazy.
And when you hear psychics on the radio, you may

And it amazes me how many people tell him that
he is here until ten o'clock and he's going to

How's your summer of twenty twenty five?

Well, it was crazy. June did graduation parties. That's the
big thing nowadays. The days of having a little cookout
in the backyard with your relative they're over. It's always
these big functions and so forth, and I had a
lot of those. And now July and August is kind
of my zen time to take a little break amongst

doing events and so forth, when I can get a
few moments to myself and enjoy it, because once September hits,
it's the magic season of Halloween and fall. So I
enjoy that little bit of a commoness which June and
of June, July and August has to offer.

What sort of readings come into your mind to tell
a seventeen eighteen year old about the upcoming future? Or
what do you tell them?

What do you see in the well? It's all based
on what they have. Usually they have questions, and I
you know what they need to see. And it's besides
the seventeen eight year teen years old. I do a
lot of college graduation parties well. And the funny thing is,
besides the party people, the kids, if you want to

call them out, they're getting their reading. The adults, they're
all attending the party. Two they want to get in reading,
so they get in line or get a ticket so
they can get a reading too. And it's you know, again,
it's whatever the people ask you. Sometimes it's not even
about the future. Where they're going is more. He could
just be about their love life or about questions in

the world in general that they have to ask. So
it runs the gamut of everything. There's no such there's
no set type of questions, which makes it interesting.

what do you do for fun? How do you relax?

I like to go to the casinos, as you know,
A fan of big fan of Mohagan Sun. I was
on there for a few days last week. I like reading,
like studying, philosophy and nature, like going on hikes and
things like that, and try to get out in the
outdoors as much as possible, and of course seeing different

shows in Boston and whatnot big movie fan, movie buff,
but casino, let's say, is my number one thing and
just trying to be out with nature.

to talk in a cereal box and religion is a
smile on the dog. Those are the song lyrics, people,
I'm not misquoting miss Broquel. So when you go to
a casino, yeah, and this is just me being nosy. Sure,

sure do you play machines or do you do live
table games or a mixture of both.

I do a little bit of both. I play h
I play Roulette, and my other game, which people find
fascinating is the paigay dominos.

Usually Las it's ups and downs. I mean, uh, it's
I go for the entertainment. And of course if you've
been to you know not to plug Mohegan, but that's
where I go. It's just it's it's such a beautiful atmosphere.
I could go down there to quote to the casino
and stay over for two or three nights and don't

even have to gamble. I'm not one that gambles all
day all night. I gamble and I go eating one
of the finer restaurants and then you know, take a
break or go out to the pool and lounge, and
you know, I make make it a whole atmosphere of events.

And I completely understand that most people who have listened
to me or know me, they know I prefer Vegas
and comparing Foxwoods to mohegan Son, mohegan Son gets my
huge thumbs up eight times zero. Foxwoods, Yeah they were first,

and yeah it's a casino. But if I am going
to go to Rhode Island, mohegan.

a top shelf there and the staff is great. I

and I encourage anybody they've never been there to go
down to visit mohegan Son in Auncuersville, Connecticut.

to be doing after our break, which is sure about

a career crossroads. I was my last job was really

I've had a tough time trying to find out what
to do next. I wonder if you have any advice

Sure. Well. The first thing that cards are showing is
what's going to make you successful in finding the next
plateau is to obviously network, but more important be visual,
meaning if you have to go online and fill out applications,
which that's the way the world is now, everything is online.

If there's a way you can talk to someone afterwards,
call them and luck of the drama, maybe get the
person hr you send the email to a introduce yourself
and somehow you need the communication is key for them
to grasp you and take you on to visualize. It's

easier said than done, but that's going to help you.
And more importantly, the guys are also saying you need
to be in a position where you're the more of
a leadership thing that people want to be able to
go to you and ask you questions and so forth.
So I don't know if you've already that's how you've
been doing it now in your previous job of ore,

to look for going forward, something where you're like in
charge for lack of better words, and that they have
to go to you as the go to person that
will help you stay in the position and you will

and it's showing that you're going to be able to
express yourself in ways that you couldn't have in the

It's a pleasure were You're very welcome. And are you
ready for a psychic reading by Douglas?
Speaker 9 (26:12):
I am, I am exciting ask your questions. So I
became a reiki practitioner years ago based on something that
somebody had asked me to do, not that I knew
anything about it, but I did it and I began
to understand it and the energy healing is fascinating. I
(26:36):
recently completed my Reiki mastership training. The question is thank you.
My question is it's reiki something that I can do
for work, maybe in a hospital a wellness center and
make some money. Money is not the motivating factor. I
(26:57):
really want to be of service and help people well.
The person who asked me to study, sorry to study reiki.
The idea was if we both studied, we could go
and work in oncology wards and help people find common
energy because of all the treatments they were going through
and how frightening it is, especially when they don't have
(27:20):
good people around to talk to. And of course you're
in oncology and there are people coming in and they
poke you and they hurt you, and you're scared out
of your mind. And this was something that I was
thinking back before I really studied. Might be I don't
want to say a fun thing to do, but a
way of being of service to others.

Hetler, do me a favor before Douglas answers your question. Yes,
for people in my ardience who have've never heard of reiki,
could you give like a sentence or two of an
explanation of what youres.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
Reiki is Reggie channel's energy. It's a Japanese healing art
that uses the practitioner as a channel. So the energy
comes from above through me through my hands to the
person that I'm working with. But I don't have to
(28:11):
do just hands on at the moment. And you have
heard my sister always says to me, don't say this,
this is not nice. But you hear in the Bible
the laying of hands sends the healing art. It the
modality that I studied came from Japan years and years ago.
(28:32):
And what I have found is that there is a
way to channel energy that is calming. I can do
either a hands on treatment or I can send healing
around the world. My sister lives in California. I send
her healing when she was going through her chemo. A
friend of mine lived in Rhode Island and told me
(28:54):
he was going through heart surgery and I asked if
it would be okay for me to send healing to him.
The day of his surgery, I was in Boston. He
was going into surgery in Rhode Island, and I was
able to channel energy and actually feel something that was
happening to him real time, and it was the first
(29:16):
time I had ever experienced that, but it was It's
something that has stayed with me. Fortunately, the surgery went
very well. There was a small complication and I felt
it in Boston, but I didn't know what it was.
Seven weeks later, I met the person again and said,
how did everything go? Can you tell me about what happened?
(29:38):
And he said, yes, there was some debris that broke
off in one of the otteries and it lodged behind
the optic nerve. What I felt was a blockage that
went up through the back of the neck, and so
I just kept all of the notes and then he
and I talked about it seven weeks later and he
(29:59):
told me whatever, the debris was launched behind the optic
nerve and he lost his site for a couple of weeks.
They gave him medication that helped to dilute the debris
and came back and seven years later he's really doing
quite well. All right, it's a really wonderful experience for me.

Douglas, sure, thank you to answer your question. First of all,
thank you're doing a good service. You're helping people, which
is a wonderful thing to do. It's going to be
very rewarding for you to continue with this, but it's
showing you don't want to focus on the income level.

Just if you're going to get more people and more
ideas of people that are willing to let you into
their world using your situation. REI ka. But it's not
going to bring you lots of money. So just focus
on volunteering. Whether you go to like a hospice or

something like that, or whatever the case may be, you
will be able to do it. You will be helping people,
and don't worry about the profit. It's not that you're
not going to be doing it for the profit. You're
going to be doing it because you want to do it.
There's a big difference.

the nursing home industry, or if I should keep working
because I am I think I'm making a difference where
I am now just really at a cross roads. I'm

few moments to myself and enjoy it, because once September hits,
it's the magic season of Halloween and fall. So I
enjoy that little bit of a commoness which June and
of June, July and August has to offer.

What do you see in the well? It's all based
on what they have. Usually they have questions, and I

lot of college graduation parties well. And the funny thing is,
besides the party people, the kids, if you want to

call them out, they're getting their reading. The adults, they're
all attending the party. Two they want to get in reading,
so they get in line or get a ticket so
they can get a reading too. And it's you know, again,
it's whatever the people ask you. Sometimes it's not even
about the future. Where they're going is more. He could
just be about their love life or about questions in

the world in general that they have to ask. So
it runs the gamut of everything. There's no such there's
no set type of questions, which makes it interesting.

and stay over for two or three nights and don't

even have to gamble. I'm not one that gambles all
day all night. I gamble and I go eating one
of the finer restaurants and then you know, take a
break or go out to the pool and lounge, and
you know, I make make it a whole atmosphere of events.

And I completely understand that most people who have listened
to me or know me, they know I prefer Vegas
and comparing Foxwoods to mohegan Son, mohegan Son gets my
huge thumbs up eight times zero. Foxwoods, Yeah they were first,

call them and luck of the drama, maybe get the

and somehow you need the communication is key for them
to grasp you and take you on to visualize. It's

to be in a position where you're the more of
a leadership thing that people want to be able to

I am, I am exciting ask your questions. So I
became a reiki practitioner years ago based on something that
somebody had asked me to do, not that I knew
anything about it, but I did it and I began
to understand it and the energy healing is fascinating. I
(26:36):
recently completed my Reiki mastership training. The question is thank you.
My question is it's reiki something that I can do
for work, maybe in a hospital a wellness center and
make some money. Money is not the motivating factor. I
(26:57):
really want to be of service and help people well.
The person who asked me to study, sorry to study reiki.
The idea was if we both studied, we could go
and work in oncology wards and help people find common
energy because of all the treatments they were going through
and how frightening it is, especially when they don't have
(27:20):
good people around to talk to. And of course you're
in oncology and there are people coming in and they
poke you and they hurt you, and you're scared out
of your mind. And this was something that I was
thinking back before I really studied. Might be I don't
want to say a fun thing to do, but a
way of being of service to others.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Hetler, do me a favor before Douglas answers your question. Yes,
for people in my ardience who have've never heard of reiki,
could you give like a sentence or two of an
explanation of what youres.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
Reiki is Reggie channel's energy. It's a Japanese healing art
that uses the practitioner as a channel. So the energy
comes from above through me through my hands to the
person that I'm working with. But I don't have to
(28:11):
do just hands on at the moment. And you have
heard my sister always says to me, don't say this,
this is not nice. But you hear in the Bible
the laying of hands sends the healing art. It the
modality that I studied came from Japan years and years ago.
(28:32):
And what I have found is that there is a
way to channel energy that is calming. I can do
either a hands on treatment or I can send healing
around the world. My sister lives in California. I send
her healing when she was going through her chemo. A
friend of mine lived in Rhode Island and told me
(28:54):
he was going through heart surgery and I asked if
it would be okay for me to send healing to him.
The day of his surgery, I was in Boston. He
was going into surgery in Rhode Island, and I was
able to channel energy and actually feel something that was
happening to him real time, and it was the first
(29:16):
time I had ever experienced that, but it was It's
something that has stayed with me. Fortunately, the surgery went
very well. There was a small complication and I felt
it in Boston, but I didn't know what it was.
Seven weeks later, I met the person again and said,
how did everything go? Can you tell me about what happened?
(29:38):
And he said, yes, there was some debris that broke
off in one of the otteries and it lodged behind
the optic nerve. What I felt was a blockage that
went up through the back of the neck, and so
I just kept all of the notes and then he
and I talked about it seven weeks later and he
(29:59):
told me whatever, the debris was launched behind the optic
nerve and he lost his site for a couple of weeks.
They gave him medication that helped to dilute the debris
and came back and seven years later he's really doing
quite well. All right, it's a really wonderful experience for me.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Douglas, sure, thank you to answer your question. First of all,
thank you're doing a good service. You're helping people, which
is a wonderful thing to do. It's going to be
very rewarding for you to continue with this, but it's
showing you don't want to focus on the income level.
(30:43):
Just if you're going to get more people and more
ideas of people that are willing to let you into
their world using your situation. REI ka. But it's not
going to bring you lots of money. So just focus
on volunteering. Whether you go to like a hospice or
(31:05):
something like that, or whatever the case may be, you
will be able to do it. You will be helping people,
and don't worry about the profit. It's not that you're
not going to be doing it for the profit. You're
going to be doing it because you want to do it.
There's a big difference.

for you, but you've got to go through a couple
of ups and downs to get to that pressure. The
next one that's you're going to meet is not going

But there is somebody out there for you.

of the country that might be sure?

cars are saying. You need to focus on it this way.
It's not a question of here, it's a question of,
more importantly, the place you would like to go, because
it's kinds are showing. If you say you're going to

move to let's say, Kentucky, there's gonna be people that say, well,
you don't want to move there because it's hot, or
it's woodsy in the area and so forth. Don't listen
to them. Move to where you want. If people want
to give you advice, you listen to them, thank them,
but make sure it's on your own will you will

find that spot where you want to move, and you'll say,
this is where I want to move, this is where
I'm going, and I don't care what anybody else thinks,
and that's going to be your spot. It's going to
be They don't focus on where at this point, focus
on exactly what's going to make you happy when you
get there. Does that make any sense?

Well, I really appreciate the time. So I'm at a crossroads.
I have a great career in the healthcare field, but
I had about a cancer fifteen years ago. So I'm
I'm wondering if I'm going to be best served retiring
early and enjoying my time and doing volunteer work in

the nursing home industry, or if I should keep working
because I am I think I'm making a difference where
I am now just really at a cross roads. I'm
sixty three and can't make a decision yet, and I
just I'm not sure which way to go.

Sure too that the carriage has to say, Well, look,
cards are saying if you go for the first part
what you mentioned about retiring and doing volunteer work and
so forth, that's going to be like opening a whole
new world for you. You know, as much as you're

making a difference in the health field that you're in now,
it's also going to be a little more stagnant as
the years, you know, creep along. So are you changing
making that change? It'll bring you ten times the riches.

Great so physically and mentally.

Physically and mentally, yes, it will be very good commra
wise for you. I don't want to use the word health.
It's going to be good commra wise for you. And
you're going to be helping people and you're gonna find
and you're knowing that you're doing it because you want
to do it. You're not. You know, it's going to
be it's gonna be very enlightening. The cards on me
