Holiday Bash at the Entertainment at Sports Arena and one
of their newest stars. He just came on board recently.
We know who he is, Tholks. We've seen him all
over the world for many years. Bobby Lashley is joining us. Bobby,

Oh my man, Well, Bobby, great to see you now
in AW your first couple of matches. It had been
a couple of months then since you wrestled. Coming to
your new home now, but you haven't missed a beat.
You took out Swerve Strickland, a former AW champion.

What a way to start your new time in your
new home in ae W.

Yeah, man, you know what. I have to be honest,
going into that matchup, I was a little nervous. I
was nervous because I hadn't been in the ring since May.
I mean I had a small little beat up match
a couple of days before the actual pay per view.
But going to the pay per view, I was like,
Swerve is legit, you know, and he's he's a superstar

over at aw superstar in the wrestling business across the board,
and I was like, man, I got to go out
there and perform. I got to go out there and
come with it, you know. And because the last thing
I want to do is you know how the skeptics
or the media or the dirt seat or whoever it is,
the minute you lose a step, they let it be known.
So I was like, I got to really produce and
I got to really show out. So I just said
(01:42):
a prayer before it, and I went out there and
do what I did. It felt like it felt natural,
like riding a bike again. Man.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Well, I mean besides in the ring too, you guys
are going through the table, the barricade. I don't think
you lost anything there. Bobby looked like you were right
back into it.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I felt that way.

I was excited when I was in there. It was
like after that started, a couple of seconds into that,
I just kind of looked up and looked around and
I was like, I'm home. It felt good.

And I don't know, I don't know if you look
at the numbers on things, but you know that video
of you and Swerve together, I mean when you debut
at the end of October, you had that first face
to face with him that got a million views in
one day. So clearly the wrestling world loves Bobby Lashley
and it's big business for aw that you're there now.

Yeah, man, and that's what I wanted to do. You know,
when coming over there, you get an opportunity to meet
and work with somebody such as Tony. I mean, he
kind of like re rekindled my flame, my love for
the business, and he gave me that opportunity, gave me
the platform to come out here and do something big.
So I knew it and I told him, I said,
you know what, without being patted myself on the back

or anything like that, I've done a lot in the
wrestling business and I'm kind of a big deal. So
when I come over here, I want to work with
some of your guys because they have an amazing talent group. Man,
there's There's so many guys out there that I'm interested
to wrestle with and get in the ring with. From
the Kenny Omegas who will offspring to to I mean swerve,

There's so many guys over there that I'm just I'm
very interested in some of the matchups, and I think
any one of the matches are going to do big
numbers just because it's like I'm different from some of
the guys there, and I think some people want to
see those matchess. It's kind of like you get the
matches that you didn't know that you really wanted to
see and see you got to see them. And I

think there's a lot of guys like that that I'm
gonna have some great matchups with.

And we're gonna get to see you in person with
UH with the other AW stars, Bobby we got You
and MVP and Shelton. The Hurt Syndicated is gonna come
next Wednesday night, December eighteenth, here in DC at the
Entertainment at Sports Arena with Mercedes Monnett and Darby Allen
and will Ospray and Aren't Cassidy. I mean, we got

Yeah, because without a doubt, man, that's what we've We
already set some goals. We set some goals going to
a W. WE we everybody wanted to see us before
to keep going. And now that we have opportunity to
kind of like do it over and do it again,
we can make some changes, but we're still gonna stay
the same. We have gold in our in our minds
and and and and that's where that's where our expectations are.

Our expectations are to do some big things in a W.
So I can't wait to get the opportunity to go
after some of these people, Like I mean, we have
a big all in pay per view at the at
the end of the year or not at the end
of the year, but this summer in July, and I
keep and out there like I'm going for gold. I'm
going for that big battle. I mean, there's a guy

holding it right now that is beating people up, and
I just I welcomed that fight. So just the Hurt
Syndicate coming together doing some big things, chasing gold, it's
gonna be a good time.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
And that's you know, it's interesting you say that about
beating people up, because nobody's gonna walk into a room
and just blindside Bobby Lashley, especially when you got the
other two there with MVP and Shelton. So if that
fight's gonna happen, and I got a feeling we're gonna
see that fight happen a lot sooner than later, that's
gonna be huge all around.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yes, yesterday is. Yes, it is. There's a lot of
things to be excited about. I mean, there's there's, like
I said, there's a whole crop of you guys to
go after and some of the greatest ruffles. I don't
say the greatest in the world, because nobody really is
the greatest, but if you look at some of the
talents that they have over A and w Will Offspring,
he's amazing, Kenny o'megan, he's amazing, Swerve is amazing, Mocksle

he's amaze Christian Edge. There's so many guys in there
that I just want to be able to get in
the ring with and and do some business and have
some great matches. I think that the crowd is going
to be very excited to see some of those matchups
as well.

And Bobby, you said the big belt, the belt, the
world championship is on your mind. But I'm sure you
and Shelton too. If you guys went after some tag
team goal, that could be in your future as well.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I told Sheldon that as soon as I came in
when we when we were putting together, I was like, bro,
we need to get those tag titles. We need to
get those tag titles and run with them for a
little bit. Because Sheldon's been doing some great business there already,
He's been having some great matchups. I was put us
together as a tag and see what we can do.
I mean, it's gonna be exciting. But there's another thing

also is that we're we're also looking for that other
member and that fourth member. So we're still kind of
taking some applications and seeing who's who's ready for it
and who ready to take that next step. So whoever
that person is, I mean there's an opportunity there also
to get tag titled with or push that person to
one of the other titles. But we're definitely looking for gold.

Now, that's interesting. You said person.

You didn't say guy or girl, man or woman, So
that could mean a woman joins the Hurt Syndicate too.
That certainly could be a possibility.

Anything can happen. I mean, there are some amazing women wrestlers,
of course, and we're just keeping to see what fits,
what works for us for us going after all the golds.
I mean, it could be it could be a female wrestler.
It could be it could be a cruiserway, it could
be another heavyweight. We just don't know. We're just kind

of checking out the landscape of AW and seeing who
who works, who works for what we have going.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
On, as long as it could bring gold and a
bigger bank account to the Hurt Syndicate. Hey, applications are
being taken from everyone. Bobby, what uh with with everything
going on right now for your debut and AW, how
do you feel these first couple of months have gone
if you were to write it on a one to ten,
because I think, honestly, with the match you had with

Swerve coming in there and and the impact it's been
a ten all around.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yeah, man, it's I was felt, and I think that
I'm going to be kind of viewed in a certain way.
And I like, I like the direction that we're going,
Like we have a great group, just have an opportunity
to get back with the Hurt Syndicate and putting those
guys on TV. I mean, we're bringing a different level
to the show. We're bringing a different like look to
the show, and and I think that in itself is
(08:40):
going to be very benefitical for the show. But then
everything that we do afterwards, I mean, like we said,
we have we have such an amazing core guys Like Okay,
so it's MVP. MVP is going to be on the mic,
running his mouth like he always does, and he's one
of the best to do it. And then you have Sheldon,
you have myself, you have whoever else we bring in.
I think just us alone, whoever we get up against,
(09:04):
we're going to elevate them. They don't have to beat us,
because it's gonna be there's very few people that are
gonna beat us. But just to stand up, get in
front of MVP, get in a mic, with him and
go battles with him, and then after that getting the
ring with Mincheldon. There's a lot of things you have
to overcome and just to have an opportunity to be there.
(09:25):
We're going to elevate whoever we can from the AW
roster because ultimately, you know, in the business of wrestling,
you want to you want to build yourself up and
then you want to pull people up. And I think
that's what we can do. We've already made a name
for ourselves. A lot of people know who we are.
We just have to reintroduce ourselves to the AW crowd.
Once we do that and people really see what we're
able to do, then we're gonna start looking at the

guys on the roster that we want to elevate, and
that's ultimately our goal moving over to AW.

It's that whole iron sharp and iron mentality. You know,
let's let's all fight, but let's pick each other up
and have any even better show. Bobby, last thing I
want to ask you about. I know we only have

guys did on the AEW Instagram and I didn't realize
you are such a cookie connoisseur. Uh, you got to

just had them yesterday. So of course, of course there's Crumble,
there's Cookie Society, and there's a few other cookie places
that have popped up. And it's this thing that me
and my kids too. You know, we try to at
the beginning of the week because Crumble always has a
new crop of cookies, so we always order whatever the

new krap of cookies are. And one time Crumble had
this corn bread cookie, and man, it was so interesting
because they had they had everything bagel cookie one time
also wow, and it tasted like an everything bagel, but
it tasted like a cookie. It was crazy. It was
crazy good. But the time when they had the cornbread cookie,

it was just something about it. I gobbled that thing
up in no time and then we had to order
some more. But I truly love cookies. And when they
talked about that, when they came over to me, they say, hey,
we want you to ask you what's your favorite cookie?
I was like, oh, bro, this this is going to

had to cut out parts of it, but they kept
in the parts that were important, which was that cornbread
