Speaker 1 (00:00):
Your daily pop culture report. It's the Mike Jones Minicon
on DC one on one. Everybody Loves Raymond was a
big hit for CBS in the nineties, and tonight fans
can go back for some more fun. The Everybody Loves
Raymond thirtieth Anniversary Reunion will bring Ray Romano and Brad
Garrett and everyone back together for the ninety minute special.
The show's creator Phil Rosenthal said that he's wanted to

(00:23):
do a reunion for a while, but it didn't work
out until now. And Rosenthal said that yes, the show
debuted at nineteen ninety six, but he created it in
nineteen ninety five and that's why this can officially be
the thirtieth anniversary. Watch the Everybody Loves Raymond Special tonight
at eight on CBS. A copy of Superman Number one

(00:43):
from June of nineteen thirty nine just sold at auction
for nine point one to two million dollars, the highest
price ever paid for the comic book. The story behind
it is pretty wild because last year a woman passed
away and she had always told her sons that she
had a rare comic book collection. Three brothers found Superman
and a bunch of other old comics in a box

(01:03):
in the attic of her house in northern California. The
Superman book was in near mint condition, and that's why
this issue sold for over nine million bucks. Get your
daily pop culture run down around four point fifty every
