Letout calendar. On September first, nineteen seventy one, Led Zeppelin
performed in South Florida at a newly open venue midway
between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Zeppelin's gig was originally announced

they would have seeded only eight thousand there. Instead, promoters
moved Zeppelin show to the Hollywood Speedway Park Sportatorium. They
offered four thousand additional tickets for sale this way, while
they also managed to cap general admission ticket prices at
wait for it, six dollars fifty five years ago. On

September second, nineteen seventy led Zeppelin previewed some of their
third album at Oakland Colisee. The first blast came at
the top of the show with Immigrant Song to balance
things out. Zeppelin later played their more mellow That's the Way.

both mandolin with both hands and bass pedals with both feet.

United States for approximately one month, starting in the middle
of October unquote. This would be the first Led Zeppelin
tour in America in longer than three years. Ticket information
was forthcoming in a matter of days. The clever name
of the tour was quote led Zeppelin the nineteen Eighties
