in the morning, Steve Lundy, Gina Melton. How fortunate are
we to have the number one zoo in the nation
right here in Omaha. We're talking about Omaha's Henry door
Ley Zoo.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, so lucky.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
They're always doing amazing things, and we're going to highlight
a couple of those things. Coming up with us is
JC Golson, jac good morning, thanks for joining.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Us, Good morning, thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Well, you got some exciting things coming to omahs Henry
door Ley Zoo. Let's start with this thing coming up
this Thursday called Croctoberfest. Tell us about that.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
That's right, So we have Croctoberfest. It's our last one
of the season. It starts at seven point thirty on Thursday.
So what we're doing is we're blending the Octoberfest spirit
with the fascinating world of crocodilian species.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
How fun is that? That sounds like a blast. And
there's a lot of fun things for adults to do
on that night, like food trucks and adult beverages. So
how do they get tickets if they'd like to do that?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, So it's a twenty one plus event. And tickets
are on sale at omahazoo dot com slash Croctoberfest. And
like I said, this is our last chance for guests
to experience one of our late nights at the Zoo
event series for the whole season, and it's Croctoberfest. Now.

Does one have to have a membership to get into
this as well?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, So tickets are available for everyone, but our Zoom
members do receive a special discount.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Oh, tell us about Crocstar Karaoke.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Right, So we have Crocstar Karaoke. It's absolutely named and
if you participate, you have a chance to be entered
into the Crocstar Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
So that is coming up this Thursday. Then tell us
about another event coming up in October, the Goals and Glow.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, so this is our event for families. It's Goals
and Glow October seventeenth through the twentieth, and twenty fourth
through the twenty seventh. We have Halloween Lights and lanterns,
trick or treating, special performances, an all new Spooky Pumpkin
Adventure VR ride which is super cool, as well as

some fall themed food and drinks at are concession's locations and.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Tell us about the gooli Igloo.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
What's that all about?

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, so that is a special ticket in which you
get a private space within the event footprint, You get
bar service, you get early admission. It's a really neat
way to experience the event.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
All fun and that trigger treating. Kids and adults can
get dressed up for that.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Yep, that's right. We encourage everyone to come in their
Halloween costumes and then we have an entire threat of
trigger treating treat street.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
That is all fun. And now do you get tickets
for that? Do you need a membership or can you
get in with just the tickets?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
