When the wildfires broke out in southern California, a veterinarian
named doctor Anna Harvelitz. She runs two animal hospitals in
the LA area. She took in forty one displaced pets.
She said, she looked around, she said, I have the
room for the pets, and Annie coordinated rescues and was
caring for those pets, including a cat named Pumpkin, a

pit bull named Daisy, and a rabbit named Oreo, among others.
And she just loves animals. That's why she did it.
